As opposed to the anime intro:

Where he clearly has brown hair.

I find it hilarious that out of the three Nozaki siblings, only Mayu doesn't have his own solo story. Yumeko's is short but at least she has some. Mayu is apparently just too lazy to make a story of lol

In an attempt to prove that he’s actually Yumeno Sakiko, Nozaki brings Yumeko to the office. He introduces her to Ken-san, who is in the process of drawing a “No More Tanukis” sign to stick to Maeno’s desk:

Yumeko: Wow! You really went above and beyond with the prank this time, bringing me to a fake office and everything. But your fake editor gave it away — no manga editor would be this bad at art. I can draw way better. Here, take a look:

Yumeko: I even added you and me next to the tanuki. See?

(Later on, Maeno finds her drawing. Not only does he immediately recognize it as a tanuki, but he also hailed it as an artistic masterpiece and sent it to all of his mangakas as “ideal tanuki reference art”)

GSNK Volume 15.5 has been announced!

It’s a 64-page booklet that will come with the special edition of Volume 15 and will be released alongside the regular edition on 10th August! It contains 36 manga pages, containing two stories that focus on Sakura’s classmates of 2A:

a love story(?) between the art club girl and a new character Ise, who is honest, pure, and part of the track and field club! (the above preview comments that she will be playing the tsukkomi next to him the whole time hahaha) Includes cameos from Sakura’s friends.

a story with Takahama, Mikoshiba, Mayu and his judo club (includes Kobayashi and a new character)! Includes cameos from Itou, Nozaki and Sakura.

There will also be some new fancy artwork for the front cover/opening pages + 14 pages of coloured illustrations!

P.S. Tsubaki originally planned to draw love stories for both the art club girl and Rei as per the poll she did, but she changed her mind on Rei because her love interest was going to be in university which was impossible to work with since Rei is in her third year of junior high💀

P.P.S Tsubaki went out of her way to include Mayu in the extra manga story since he doesn’t appear much in Volume 15!
