Konstantinopolis by Nox Doloris is a Symphonic Oriental Blackened Death Metal album inspired by the history of medieval Constantinople. It is a musical journey through the wildest pages of history, filled with grandeur, passion and tragedy. Each composition of this project is a separate chapter, immersing the listener in the atmosphere of one of the most significant cities in the history of mankind. Loud and aggressive riffs combined with epic orchestral interludes create a stunning picture of the heaviest battles. Complex guitar parts intertwine with string melodies, creating a sense of the heat of war. The lyrics paint an image of a ruthless world where anyone can become a victim, and each battle is the last. Each song tells about strategic rivalry, betrayal and the need to fight for survival, in which all sides are ready to cross the line.
