Pairing: Lando Norris x Reader
Summary: After a fight with Lando, you’re nowhere to be found when he leaves for Austin, making him fear the relationship is over. But when you arrive at the track with Max, he gets a second chance to make things right, and the two of you reconcile.
Word count: 2061
Even though we're going through it And it makes you feel alone Just know that I would die for you Baby, I would die for you, yeah
You and Lando rarely fought. You’d been together since his final season in Formula 2, a bloody long time, and you could count the big fights on one hand. But this one was different. This was the worst of them all.
It was his last day at home before flying to Austin, and somehow everything went down.
"You're being clingy!" He shouted, running a hand through his messy curls, frustration etched on his face.
You stared at him, stunned. "I’m being clingy? Me? Lando, we’ve been together for years, and I have never asked you for anything. The one time I do, and this is what you say? Wow."
"Yeah, well, you’ve never acted like this before!" His face hardened, eyes sparking with irritation you weren’t used to. "Seriously, if you suddenly want some boyfriend who’ll sit around every night, watching dumb TV shows and cuddling you to sleep, maybe you should find someone else."
You shook your head, disbelief morphing into something different, something more hurt. "Maybe I should do that!"
He was beyond pissed. "Then please, do! I'm going out and I'll do the same." He turned, grabbing his jacket without a second glance. and strode out, slamming the door shut behind him.
You flinched at the echo, the silence crashing down around you as tears started to well up. "I hate you, Lando Norris." You whispered into the emptiness of the apartment.
Lando sat in the VIP section of his favorite Monaco club, gazing blankly over the crowded dance floor. The music pulsed, people laughed and danced, but his thoughts were miles away, thinking of you.
Max leaned in, breaking Lando’s trance. "Are you going to tell me what’s going on, or do I have to drag it out of you?" Lando shrugged. "Was it that bad?"
Lando sighed, his gaze distant. "It was! It was the worst fight we’ve ever had." He swallowed, the words bitter. "She probably thinks I’m cheating on her right now."
Max’s eyebrows shot up. "What are you talking about? Why would she think that?"
"Because, I pretty much said that." Lando muttered lound enough for Max to hear over the music.
Max looked at him, incredulous. "Why the hell would you say that, you absolute idiot? You love her."
Lando exhaled heavily. "I was angry! I didn’t even think. I just… said it. I realized how bad it sounded the second I left."
Max shook his head, staring at him with a mix of pity and frustration. "Well, congratulations: you’re an idiot!"
"Thanks for the information."
It was late when Lando finally got home. The apartment was dark, and silence filled the rooms. He stepped into the kitchen, grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge, his mind caught between whether he should crash on the sofa or swallow his pride, apologize, and lie beside you.
He waked to the closed bedroom door, standing there for a long moment, nerves filling his body. His hand hovered over the doorknob, but he stopped himself. He stepped back and with the sting of guilt he fell down on the sofa.
You were deep asleep when a hand shook your shoulder. Groggily, you opened your eyes to see your best friend sitting on the edge of the bed, her eyes barely open, hair rumpled from sleep.
"What?"
She yawned, rubbing her eyes before looking at you. "Your phone won’t stop ringing."
Blinking, you glanced at the empty nightstand, remembering you’d left your phone in the living room. "What time is it?" You muttered. "It’s probably Lando. We were supposed to leave for Austin early."
She groaned, pulling a pillow over her head and laying down next to you. "Then answer it or turn it off. It’s too early for this, and I’m exhausted."
"She rejected my call!" Lando exclaimed, pacing back and forth in the apartment.
Max raised an eyebrow. "That’s good news."
"How is that good?"
"At least we know she’s okay." He said. "And still mad at you, which is probably deserved."
"I don’t even know if she was still here when I got home last night. The bedroom door was closed, and I just… crashed on the sofa. I only realized she was gone this morning."
Max nodded thoughtfully. "So, what’s the plan now?"
“I don’t know,” Lando groaned, slumping into a chair, rubbing his hands over his face. "The team’s going to kill me if I miss this flight."
"So go!" Max said firmly.
Lando looked up, shaking his head. "No way. I’m not leaving without her."
Max rolled his eyes. "Look, she knows you have to leave, Lando. Sooner or later, she’s coming back, and when she does, I’ll bring her to Austin myself. Just go."
"What if she refuses to go?"
"She loves you. She'll want t make things right. Trust me!"
Lando hesitated. "You promise?"
"I promise."
You slipped into the apartment two hours later, knowing Lando would be gone by now. The silence felt heavy as you shut the door, but before you could make it to the kitchen, Max appeared, stepping out from Lando’s streaming room.
You jumped, clutching your chest. "Max! What the hell? You scared me!"
"Sorry!" He said, raising his hands in apology.
"What are you doing here? Is Lando still here?" You glanced around, half expecting him to walk out from somewhere.
"He left. Had to, or he’d have missed his flight."
You made your way to the kitchen, grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge and taking a long sip. "I thought you were going with him."
"I am. I was just waiting for you."
You looked at him, understanding dawning slowly. "Max, I don’t think going with you is a good idea." You sank into a chair at the small dining table, and Max sat across from you.
"That’s not true."
"Max, you don’t know how he treated me, the things he said…" You swallowed, voice shaking. "He told me I should find someone else. And said he would, too."
Max leaned forward, shaking his head. "Look, he was furious and stupid. Belive me, I know what he said, and he regrets every word. He didn’t even want to leave. I practically had to drag him onto the helicopter."
Tears pricked at your eyes. "Max, I don't know."
"He’s an idiot, but he’s an idiot in love with you. I’ve never seen him like this with anyone, Y/N. He’s been calling you non-stop, hoping you’d pick up, and he’s completely torn up about it. So please, come with me. Let’s go to Austin."
Lando had been unusually quiet all day. Practice had gone well, but not well enough; the Ferraris were ahead, and so was Verstappen. His mind should’ve been on the upcoming sprint qualifying, but all he could think about was you and the fight. He could only hope that Max was somehow convincing you to come to Austin.
"Everything alright? You’ve been quiet, which is… not like you." Oscar asked, glancing over at Lando as they wrapped up filming a video for McLaren’s social media.
"Just tired." Lando muttered.
Oscar hesitated, then asked gently. "Where’s Y/N? Lily told me she was coming."
Lando’s jaw tensed, his eyes flicking up to meet Oscar’s. "I… don’t think she’s coming." He admitted, his voice low. "I messed things up pretty badly."
Oscar raised his eyebrows. "Want to talk about it?"
Lando shook his head, leaning back and closing his eyes. "Not really. Just… hoping I haven’t lost her." He said, more to himself than to Oscar.
Lando was suiting up, pulling on his gloves and securing his helmet, trying to lock his focus onto the upcoming sprint qualifying. But the knot of anxiety in his stomach hadn’t eased since he arrived, knowing he might have to go through this entire weekend without you there.
Just then, Max appeared in front of him, grinning. "Hey, mate. Just came by to wish you luck. And, by the way…" Max lowered his voice, glancing over his shoulder. "She’s here."
"Fuck... thank you for bringing her."
There, standing quietly near the corner, arms crossed and headphones on, was you. You looked a little nervous, a shy expression on your face and when your eyes met, you quickly looked away.
A wave of relief fell over him, and he instinctively took a step forward, desperate to close the space between you. But Max put a hand on his shoulder, holding him back.
"Not now." Max warned. "You’ve got a sprint to think about. You can talk to her after."
"But—" Lando began, his eyes darting back to you, a urge to apologize.
A couple of mechanics also intercepted him, nudging him toward the car with hurried reminders. "We’re starting in a few, Lando."
Lando clenched his jaw, glancing back at you. Taking a deep breath, Lando slipped into the car, his heart beating a little steadier, his mind clearing. For the first time all day, he felt ready. You were here and that was everything.
You watched the qualifying from the garage, heart pounding with every lap. It was always like this: nerve-wracking, pride and fear as you watched him push himself and the car to the limit. But today, your chest felt even tighter, knowing the tension lingering between you.
When the session ended, Lando finished fourth. Relief mixed with a bit of pride washed over you as you clapped, your gaze fixed on him as he came into the garage.
The moment he spotted you, he didn’t hesitate. He strode over and without a word, he reached for your hand, gently but firmly, and led you out of the garage toward his driver’s room, ignoring the curious glances around you.
Once inside, he closed the door. "Y/N… Babe, I’m so sorry."
You looked down, your arms wrapping around yourself. "You hurt me, Lando. You didn’t just walk away, you made me feel like I was… too much."
He stepped closer, reaching for your hand again. "I was an idiot. I don’t even know why I said those things. I was frustrated, and I took it out on you. None of it was true. You’re not ‘too much.’ You’re… everything to me."
"I thought you didn’t want me anymore."
He swallowed, his voice barely a whisper. "That could never be true. I can’t imagine any of this, my life, racing, anything, without you." He brushed a stray tear from your cheek. "I was terrified you wouldn’t come. That I’d ruined everything."
You took a shaky breath. "Max convinced me… told me you didn’t want to leave, that you were just… scared of losing me."
"More than you know." He said, his hand holding yours firmly. "Please forgive me, Y/N. I’ll spend as long as it takes making it up to you."
"I don't want you to give up anything, Lando."
"I know. I know. That's not what you asked me."
After a long moment, you squeezed his hand. "I’m here now." You said softly. "Let’s just start with that."
Relief flooded his face as he wrapped you in his arms, holding you close, as if he never wanted to let go. "I know I don’t deserve it, but I’m grateful you’re here. I don’t want to mess this up ever again."
You gave him a gentle smile, brushing a stray curl from his forehead. "I didn’t come all this way to hold onto what happened. Let’s just… move forward. Together."
He smiled. "Together."
A knock on the door interrupted the moment. "Lando?" A team member called from the hallway. "They need you back in the garage in five!"
Lando glanced back toward the door, then returned his gaze to you, clearly torn. "Go!" You murmured. "I’ll be here when you’re done. I’m not going anywhere."
He didn’t respond right away. Instead, he cupped your face in his hands, his thumbs brushing gently over your cheeks as he leaned in, capturing your lips in a soft, lingering kiss. You melted into it, letting the last of the hurt dissolve in his warmth.
When he pulled back, he looked at you with a smile . "I’ll be quick." He said, squeezing your hand before reluctantly letting it go and heading toward the door. Just as he opened it, he paused, glancing over his shoulder one last time. "I love you."
"I love you too." You whispered.

"Answer me or I stop."
✘ NSFW content ahead, fingering, mutual play, exhibitionism (?), the girls might as well be lesbians!
@bernardsbendystraws pov for doll is in the title!!
Tumblr media
Bun was scared, her stomach in the pits of hell.
Her, Doll, Chris, and Matt had decided to sit in the living room and watch a movie. Nick would have been with them, but he had work meetings to attend, so the four were on their own.
Each couple were in their own world, curled up on opposite couches and watching 'Planet of the apes'. However, Chris and Matt had their own plans.
The two males knew how close their girls were to each other, in fact, they were too close to each other. The girls would cuddle with each other, change in front of each other, and sometimes even kissing eachother.
It's like they were attached at the hip - Like they were in a relationship.
So Matt and Chris decided to test how close they really were, as well as show the girls who they belonged to.
Chris eyes Bunny, watching her eyes dart across the tv, reading the subtitles quickly so she won't miss the action on the screen. He looks to Matt, giving him a subtle nod before starting to rub Buns thigh. The girl thinks nothing of it, used to Chris always touching her in some way.
She loved it, she loved affection - his affection.
However, what she didn't love was the way his hand started to sneak up her thigh and down the front of her frilly shorts, the same shorts Doll was currently wearing. She tenses and tries to pull his hand away, her brows furrowed and eyes wide. She hears Chris snickering softly. She may be sitting in front of him, but she could just see the smirk making it's way onto his face.
"Chris-" she hisses softly, her eyes darting to Doll and Matt, hoping they didn't see or hear what was going on.
He ignores her and simply spreads her folds apart and begins toying with her clit. Her eyes flutter shut before she snaps them open, trying to look inconspicuous.
She couldn't believe she was letting this happen, she felt bad - sort of.
The situation was ludicrous yet exciting, the idea of her boyfriend fingering her while her best friend and her best friend's boyfriend were just a few feet away, made her embarrassingly wet. The idea of being caught, maybe even having them watch, made her brain go fuzzy and her walls flutter.
She finds it hard to stay quiet, biting her lip and constantly clearing her throat.
"Y-You ok B-Bun?"
Bunny's head snaps to Doll, her eyes wide thinking she had been caught. She tries to get away with nodding, but Chris doesn't let her, asking her another question as he speeds up his assault on her puffy and aching clit.
"Yeah Bun, you ok?" Her breath hitches as he whispers in her ear, his breath warm.
"Answer me Bunny, or I stop."
"I-I'm goo-" Her jaw drops open as Chris pushes two fingers into her aching hole, immediately curling them against that spot that makes her turn into a mess. Her fingers harshly grip at Chris's arm, trying to stop herself from moaning out loud.
However, as soon as she hears a soft moan falling from Doll's lips, she allows her own to follow. It became clear what was going on, both boys forcing the girls to participate in exhibitionism. She couldn't even be mad, it was something so taboo yet so exciting.
Now not having to hide what was happening or what she was feeling, Bunny throws her head back onto Chris’s shoulder, closing her eyes and gyrating her hips to match the quick yet lazy movements of his fingers.
“M-Matt!”
Bunny’s eyes snap open hearing Dolls voice, her focus now on her.
She looked so pretty.
Her face scrunched, her lips in a soft pout, the way her nipples poked through the tight fabric of her tanktop.
It was an erotic sight.
She’d never tell the other three, but the sight of her best friend being pleasured was enough to send her over the edge.
“Come on Bun, let go f’me.”
Chris pants into her ear, his own orgasm approaching. Her walls flutter around Chris’s finger, her moans going up in pitch. Chris groans lowly as he feels her wetness seep through the material of his sweatpants, his dick twitching softly.
Both girls lay against their respective boyfriends, panting softly and high off of their orgasms, their minds racing with thoughts about what just happened.
Chris and matt look to each other, confirming what they already knew with a silent nod.
Both girls were more than comfortable with each other for this to happen.
What group activity could be next?

Tumblr media Tumblr media
mondays were already bad enough. but this? this was a nightmare.
you had barely stepped into your agency when your personal assistant greeted you with a suspiciously delighted expression.
“what,” you said immediately, already sensing trouble.
“nothing,” she said, way too cheerfully for a monday. “you should just… check the news.”
you narrowed your eyes but took the tablet she offered.
the headline alone nearly made you choke on your coffee.
“DYNAMIGHT AND NOVA: PRO-HERO RIVALS OR… LOVERS?!”
oh, for fuck’s sake.
before you could even process that, the attached video started playing—footage from a crime scene yesterday.
you already knew what had happened in that video. bakugou had taken a nasty hit, bleeding from a gash on his leg, and as always, he refused to sit the hell down. in response, you had shoved a hand against his chest to physically stop him from moving.
but of course, the camera angle made it look like something entirely different.
the way your hand was fisted in his suit. the way his face was inches from yours. the intense eye contact, the sharp words exchanged (which, okay, you’d admit, maybe sounded a little too much like unresolved romantic tension in a bad drama).
and the internet had already run wild with it.
you scrolled further. someone had screenshotted the moment and captioned it:
“just kiss already.”
another person had made an edit—dramatic black-and-white filter, romantic music, slow zoom.
somebody else had photoshopped a wedding veil on you.
“you have got to be kidding me,” you muttered, rubbing your temples.
your assistant bit back a laugh. “oh, it gets better. bakugou’s seen it.”
your phone buzzed before you could even respond.
speak of the devil.
you sighed and answered.
“you see this bullshit?” bakugou barked immediately.
“good morning to you too, dynamight,” you said, pinching the bridge of your nose.
“the fuck is wrong with people?!” he continued, completely ignoring you. “are they stupid? why the hell would i—”
he cut himself off, too frustrated to even finish the sentence.
“look, I don’t like it either,” you said, sighing. “but it’s not like we can stop people from making up whatever they want.”
“the hell we can’t!”
“so what, you wanna go on national tv and tell everyone you hate me?”
“yes!”
“right,” you deadpanned. “because that wouldn’t make this worse at all.”
bakugou went silent. probably realizing, to his horror, that you were right.
“listen,” you continued, scrolling through more cursed memes. “this’ll blow over in, like, a week. people will find some new drama, and we can both forget this ever happened.”
“tch.” bakugou still sounded pissed, but at least he wasn’t yelling anymore. “whatever. i’m still gonna kill whoever started this.”
“good luck with that,” you muttered.
he grumbled something unintelligible under his breath, then hung up.
you set your phone down with a sigh, only to realize your assistant was still watching you, grinning.
“what now?” you asked, already exhausted.
“nothing,” she said, in a tone that very much meant something.
you glanced back at the tablet. the news site had updated.
“DYNAMIGHT RESPONDS TO RELATIONSHIP RUMORS—‘I’M GONNA KILL WHOEVER STARTED THIS.’”
you closed your eyes.
this was going to be a long week.

What if Dean sleeps better when Cas is around?
I know, I know. All he needs is his four hours. And that’s all he “needs” because he’s trained himself to be a light sleeper. To be on constant look out for danger, to protect Sam. And maybe that’s why he’s irritable most of the time, because that’s not rest. He’s exhausted.
But with Castiel around, an angel, who doesn’t sleep, Dean finds himself napping when he usually wouldn’t.
Like at the bunkers dining table, Cas and Sam are going over the lore. Dean’s eyes start to ache so he leans back, crosses his feet at his ankles, his arms over his chest, and allows himself to doze off.
When he wakes what feels like a couple minutes later, Sam is no where around but Cas is still there, in the same spot, just sitting there. Not reading, not watching Dean, but just sitting, just being.
“Hello, Dean,” he’ll greet as Dean sits up, rubs his face, and checks the time to realise he’s been asleep for half an hour.
“Where’s Sam?” He asks sitting up straight and looking around.
“Burrito run.”
Dean breathes and relaxes and when Sam returns, they eat and continue research
Or when…
Between cases Sam and Dean would do movie nights. They’d sit on the couch in front of the TV, Sam’s Netflix loaded, and a big bowl of popcorn between them. Sometimes Cas would join, and everytime he did, Dean would nod off towards the end of the movie.
Like tonight. Cas picked a sappy Disney movie, Dean’s not even sure he knows what it’s about but his eyes have been closed for most of the movie. Cas is into it, and Sam hasn’t complained.
There’s been a few times now Dean has jolted himself awake, his head lulling then his eyes closing heavier, and heavier, until his jolts himself up again, this time bumping Cas, knocking the bowl of popcorn slightly, a few kernels littering his lap.
He mumbles a sheepish, “sorry,” and sits back upright. But he feels it happening again. He leans his head back, but that hurts his neck so he repositions himself slightly hunched and arms crossed.
He feels Cas lean into his side a bit, their shoulders touching now. Dean swallows the butterflies and sinks into the couch a little further, his head now in line with Cas’ shoulder. He leans to his right and ever so slowly, sinks his head onto the support next to him. He closes his eyes and within seconds he’s asleep, and drooling slightly, on Cas’ shoulder.
He doesn’t wake until the movies down and Cas taps a hand on his thigh, gently stirring him out of his slumber.
Or how about…
During a hunt they go back to their motel to get some rest. Sam falls asleep very quickly, his big brother watching over him. Dean tosses and turns for an hour and a half before he walks to the bathroom to splash some water on his face.
He stares at his exhausted face in the mirror, bags under his eyes, hair a mess and sighs. He runs his damp hands through his hair and walks back out. Sitting at the edge of his bed is none other than Cas, examining the gold knife on Dean’s bedside table.
“Hello Dean,” he greets quietly, placing the knife down and looking his way.
Dean huffs out a sigh and gives him a weak smile, walking over and sitting next to him.
“No progress?” He asks probably already knowing the answer.
“No,” Dean replies.
“Trouble sleeping?”
“Most nights,” Dean admits truthfully, his cheeks warming at the admission.
Cas nods, “I’ll watch over you,” he says matter of factly.
“That’s not necessary,” Dean chuckles scratching the back of his neck nervously, but Cas had already risen off of Dean’s bed and towards the kitchen.
Dean sat still and listened to the sound of the angel making himself comfy at the little round table before he allowed himself to get comfy in the bed.
Dean tucked himself in, shut his eyes, and listened as Cas read through one of Sam’s books they he had left out, the pages turning every couple of minutes until he fell asleep.
Or even when….
They were driving back to the bunker, a 13 hour trip. Dean can feel himself having to squint every couple of blinks to keep the tired out of his eyes. They’re only half way through but they didn’t sleep the night before.
“Dean?” Cas asks from the passenger seat, worry tracing his voice.
“Yeah, yeah, I know,” he says pulling the car over when the bank opens up wide enough.
Sam stirs in the back and sits up, “my turn?” He asks sleepily.
“Yeah,” Dean sighs and gets out of the car, stretching wide. He wipes his face and waits for Sam to peel himself out of the back seat.
Cas gets out too and Dean shoots him a questioning stare, “I would like to sit with you.” Is all he says.
Dean feels his face flush, “dude, the whole point is so I can lay down and sleep.” He says as Sam stretches, and downs a bottle of water. He hands another to Dean who takes a few sips before lidding it.
“Okay,” Cas says as if the situation was obvious to him and still gets into the back.
Sam looks at Dean, eyebrows high and a smirk plastered on his face as he chuckles and takes his seat behind the wheel.
Dean rolls his eyes, sighs, then wipes his hands down his face before climbing into the back.
They take off and Dean leans his head against the window closing his eyes, but every now and then a bump in the road knocks his head off and it’s starting to become uncomfortable. He lifts his head up and leans back. It’s not as uncomfortable but his neck hurts in this position. He sits back up and rubs his eyes.
“Dean,” Cas whispers.
He looks over to him, his left arm is resting along the back of the bench, his right beside him in his lap, his hand taps his thigh twice gently.
Dean swallows and looks out his window, his heart suddenly pounding but the need for sleep is so strong. He looks at Sam who doesn’t seem to be paying any attention to them then back to Cas who looks out his own window as Dean turns to him. He sighs a little, feeling less pressured without Cas’s intense gaze on him.
He licks his lips and glances at Sam one last time and, yep, he’s definitely not paying them any attention. So Dean scoots closer to his door before he lays down, his head rested on Cas’s thigh. He lays as still as possible, waiting for any mocking, or laughing, but it doesn’t come.
He allows himself to breathe more deeply before he shuffles around, getting more comfortable. He scooches his head up a little further so his neck is supported by Cas’s leg and tucks his arms under his chin. He breaths out and immediately feels himself relax.
He’s almost asleep when he feels Cas’s fingers on his head, gently massaging the scalp then running his fingers through his hair. It’s heavenly, and makes the weight in Dean’s eyes feel heavier and without any effort, he falls asleep to Cas playing with his hair.
When he wakes it’s light out, and there’s a weight along his side. He blinks and sits up before he realises Cas had his arm resting on him. He feels the blush rush to his cheeks and down his neck as Sam greets him, “good morning, sleep well?” With amusement tinged in his voice.
Dean doesn’t reply to him but damn he feels well rested despite the ache in his hips. He looks around him and notices the familiar sights of Kansas. They’re probably 40 minutes away from being home. “Breakfast?” Sam asks as they pull into a parking lot of a locally owned diner.
They pop in and order the special: bacon, eggs, avocado, sausages, with sourdough, and coffee of course Cas sat there patiently sipping his coffee, not that he needs it but he knew Dean would finish it after his own (which he does). And before they know it they’re on the road again, Dean driving, Sam in the passenger, and Cas in the back behind Dean, one hand braced on the back of the chair and if every now and then a finger brushed through the hairs on the back of his neck, they didn’t talk about it.
The rest of that day was spent showering, and scrubbing the dirt and blood off of themselves followed by some lounging around. They watched movies, ate too much, and knocked off early. But Dean couldn’t sleep. He laid staring at the ceiling for quite some time, tossed and turned for hours before the early hours of dawn crept up on him.
He got up, put his robe on and pattered out to the kitchen to start a fresh pot. Cas following moments after, “why are you up so early?”
Dean turned around and leaned against the counter, arms folded, “couldn’t sleep.”
Cas tilted his head and squinted at him slightly, “at all?”
Dean shook his head.
“You could have told me,” he says with a frown.
Dean shrugged. And filled his cup with fresh coffee and sat at the table sipping it, Cas across him. They sat in comfortable silence while Dean caffeinated himself.
The next couple of nights follow much the same. Dean tosses and turns, and only sleeps when exhaustion renders him unconscious in the early hours of the morning. Even then he only gets an hour or two, three max. He’ll wake up before the sun, then shuffle into the kitchen for coffee and sit in silence with Cas until Sam wakes.
“What is going on with you?” Sam asks him one afternoon after he’s tried to clean the dishes and stack them in the microwave. This isn’t the first mishap either. A book was found in the freezer this morning, and yesterday a mug shattered in the oven as Sam started to pre-heat it for dinner.
“Nothing, nothing I’m fine-”
“You’re not fine,” Sam says wiping the plates and putting them in the cupboard where they belong.
“I’m just a little tired, man, nothing a couple of hours won’t fix,” he waves off and sits at the table across from Cas, out of the way of Sam’s cooking.
“You have had a total of 5 hours and 43 minutes sleep in the last 4 days,” Castiel announces without lifting his head from his book.
“And who’s counting?” Dean asks a little creeped out.
“Seriously, Dean? You’re going to kill yourself if you don’t get a decent nights sleep,” Sam scolds coming over to stand next to Cas, scowling down at Dean.
“I’m not trying to not sleep, I can’t help it!” He yells back.
“Well how can we help you?” Sam asks taking a seat. Dean can’t look at the concern on his little brothers face. He looks to Cas who appears to be just as concerned, his deep blue eyes gazing at him so intently, Dean decides to look at the table and shrug.
“We could try some tea? De-caf, obviously, or see if Rowena has some minor spells?” Sam rattles
“No. No witches, no magic,” Dean objects immediately.
“Tea it is. And no screen time after dinner,” he says getting back up to attend to their meal.
“I could help?” Cas suggests quietly.
Dean feels his stomach flip. He leans back in his seat, arms crossed, “nah man, it’s nothing I can’t handle,” he says pointedly not looking at Cas.
Deans situation isn’t brought up again but after dinner, and clean up, Sam turns all of the overhead lighting off, leaving a few low light lamps and brews a camomile tea. Dean drinks is unwillingly and tries to stop the fuss from Sam.
Cas left while the boys ate, and come back with what appeared to be lavender scented…. Well everything. He got body wash, shampoo, candles, moisturiser, room spray, hell even a body oil.
“Jesus, Cas, what am I going to do with half of this stuff?” He says inspecting the body oil.
“Use it,” he replies simply, and Dean rolls his eyes, “I’ll smell like a chick,” he says lifting up the room spray.
“No, you will smell like lavender.”
Dean rolls his eyes and downs the last mouthful of his tea.
He rinses he cup and places it beside the sink before coming back and grabbing the bag of goods off of the table, “I guess I’ll… use these… now,” he says awkwardly and heads for the bathroom.
Sam bids his goodnight and thanks Cas for his help with Dean with a clap on the shoulder.
Dean will not admit it out loud, but the body wash and shampoo actually smells pretty good. Once he finishes, he rubs a little bit of the moisturiser on his chest and shoulders but he’s not using the body oil, god damnit.
He changes into his sweats and an old shirt and padders his way down the hall and into his room. He only startles a little when he sees Cas sitting at the end of his bed.
“Whatchya doing?” He asks placing his dirty cloths in the hamper in the corner.
“I will watch over you tonight,” he says simply.
“No. Thank you,” Dean says awkwardly standing in front of Cas.
Cas cocks his head to the side and stands, “I don’t understand. You tend to sleep better with my presence near, yet you are so adamant on me not being here.”
“Yeah well… you… I- I dunno, it’s creepy,” he deflects and walks past Cas to sit on the edge of his bed, hiding his burning face from Cas’s gaze.
“What if I stay only until you fall asleep?” Cas offers.
Dean wants bad to say yes, to admit that he has no trouble sleeping with Cas around. That he can’t stop thinking about Cas running his fingers through his hair, or massaging his scalp. But he can’t.
“Cas-” he starts to protest again.
“Why won’t you let me help you?” Cas asks again taking a step closer to Dean.
“Because I-” but he can’t continue.
“Please?” Cas pleads softly.
“Fine,” Dean says in a huff, “but no angel powers,” he says.
“Then how would I-” he stops suddenly and his gaze softens, “oh.”
Deans body is on fire now. This is so embarrassing, “you know what. No. I change my mind. I’m fine,” be says and lays in his bed and faces the other way.
He feels the bed dip beside him, the clunk of shoes being taken off, some shuffling, then a knee digging into his back. But then there’s a hand in his hair and another rested on his waist and he squints his eyes closed as hard as he can to stop the emotions spreading in his chest.
“Is this okay,” Cas asks softly.
Dean hums a “mhm,” not trusting his voice to come out even. Cas’s fingers apply firm pressure from the base of his skull all the way to the top, then he gently runs his nails back down. He does this a few times before changing directions, sometimes gently pulling at his hair as he runs his hand back down.
Dean fights sleep hard. Because he’s never had someone touch him like this, so gentle, and sweet, and without asking for anything in return. Without any ill intention, without any expectation of him. Cas touches him to simply help him drift off to sleep. And it hits Dean hard, how much this angel must care for him to sit here for as long as it takes for Dean to slip into slumber.
His eyes prick and sting and then there’s a warm trace from the corner of his eye, down his cheek that sinks into his pillow.
“Dean?” Cas whispers. But he doesn’t reply.
“Are you alright?” He asks again, his hand stilling.
“Yeah,” Dean whispers back.
“Are you sure,” Cas asks leaning forward a bit.
Dean nods and Cas continues again.
Dean fights sleep a little more before he feels himself start to drift off and Cas’s hands leave him.
“Don’t go,” he mumbles.
“Okay,” Cas says but gets up still.
“Please stay,” he whispers, not wanting to beg any louder.
Of course,” Cas replies. There’s a ruffle of clothes and then the flick of the light switch. The room plunges into darkness and then there’s the weight in the bed again. Only this time, there isn’t a knee in his back, but a warmth of another body laying beside him. Cas pulls the blankets up over them, then he’s pressed up against his back, an arm snakes around his waist and dangles over his belly, tracing light swirls into the fabric.
Dean keeps his eyes shut and slows his breathing and after he calms down he drifts into a peaceful slumber.

you're grabbing lunch with a nice man and he gives you that strange grimace-smile that's popular right now; an almost sardonic "twist" of his mouth while he looks literally down on you. it looks like he practiced the move as he leans back, arms folded. he just finished reciting the details of NFTs to you and explaining Oppenheimer even though he only watched a youtube about it and hasn't actually seen it. you are at the bottom of your wine glass.
you ask the man across from you if he has siblings, desperately looking for a topic. literally anything else.
he says i don't like small talk. and then he smiles again, watching you.
a few years ago, you probably would have said you're above celebrity gossip, but honestly, you've been kind of enjoying the dumb shit of it these days. with the rest of the earth burning, there's something familiar and banal about dragging ariana grande through the mud. you think about jeanette mccurdy, who has often times gently warned the world she's not as nice as she appears. you liked i'm glad my mom died but it made you cry a lot.
he doesn't like small talk, figure out something to say.
you want to talk about responsibility, and how ariana grande is only like 6 days older than you are - which means she just turned 30 and still dresses and acts like a 13 year old, but like sexy. there's something in there about the whole thing - about insecurity, and never growing up, and being sexualized from a young age.
people have been saying that gay people are groomers. like, that's something that's come back into the public. you have even said yourself that it's just ... easier to date men sometimes. you would identify as whatever the opposite of "heteroflexible" is, but here you are again, across from a man. you like every woman, and 3 people on tv. and not this guy. but you're trying. your mother is worried about you. she thinks it's not okay you're single. and honestly this guy was better before you met, back when you were just texting.
wait, shit. are you doing the same thing as ariana grande? are you looking for male validation in order to appease some internalized promise of heteronormativity? do you conform to the idea that your happiness must result in heterosexuality? do you believe that you can resolve your internal loneliness by being accepted into the patriarchy? is there a reason dating men is easier? why are you so scared of fucking it up with women? why don't you reach out to more of them? you have a good sense of humor and a big ol' brain, you could have done a better job at online dating.
also. jesus christ. why can't you just get a drink with somebody without your internal feminism meter pinging. although - in your favor (and judgement aside) in the case of your ariana grande deposition: you have been in enough therapy you probably wouldn't date anyone who had just broken up with their wife of many years (and who has a young child). you'd be like - maybe take some personal time before you begin this journey. like, grande has been on broadway, you'd think she would have heard of the plot of hamlet.
he leans forward and taps two fingers to the table. "i'm not, like an andrew tate guy," he's saying, "but i do think partnership is about two people knowing their place. i like order."
you knew it was going to be hard. being non-straight in any particular way is like, always hard. these days you kind of like answering the question what's your sexuality? with a shrug and a smile - it's fine - is your most common response. like they asked you how your life is going and not to reveal your identity. you like not being straight. you like kissing girls. some days you know you're into men, and sometimes you're sitting across from a man, and you're thinking about the power of compulsory heterosexuality. are you into men, or are you just into the safety that comes from being seen with them? after all, everyone knows you're failing in life unless you have a husband. it almost feels like a gradebook - people see "straight married" as being "all A's", and anything else even vaguely noncompliant as being ... like you dropped out of the school system. you cannot just ignore years of that kind of conditioning, of course you like attention from men.
"so let's talk boundaries." he orders more wine for you, gesturing with one hand like he's rousing an orchestra. sir, this is a fucking chain restaurant. "I am not gonna date someone who still has male friends. also, i don't care about your little friends, i care about me. whatever stupid girls night things - those are lower priority. if i want you there, you're there."
he wasn't like this over text, right? you wouldn't have been even in the building if he was like this. you squint at him. in another version of yourself, you'd be running. you'd just get up and go. that's what happens on the internet - people get annoyed, and they just leave. you are locked in place, almost frozen. you need to go to the bathroom and text someone to call you so you have an excuse, like it's rude to just-leave. like he already kind of owns you. rudeness implies a power paradigm, though. see, even your social anxiety allows the patriarchy to get to you.
you take a sip of the new glass of wine. maybe this will be a funny story. maybe you can write about it on your blog. maybe you can meet ariana grande and ask her if she just maybe needs to take some time to sit and think about her happiness and how she measures her own success.
is this settling down? is this all that's left in your dating pool? just accepting that someone will eventually love you, and you have to stop being picky about who "makes" you a wife?
you look down to your hand, clutching the knife.

Edward:
We all know he has a bit of a complex when it comes to his worth and his humanity
He tends to get in his own head a lot
Especially when it comes to you and your relationship
He doesn’t really get jealous in the normal sense
He just sort of gets sad when he sees you with other people
It’s one day after school and Edward seems to be avoiding you. You’re sitting at the table with Emmett, Alice, Esme, and Jasper playing a card game.
Only Edward is nowhere to be found.
The game finishes, Alice winning and Emmett immediately going into ranting mode about how it’s rigged. You excuse yourself to go check on him.
You find him upstairs in the piano room, plunking away on the keys mindlessly. If he wasn’t a vampire and you didn’t know better, you would say he didn’t even notice you enter the room.
You stood behind him for a while, watching as his fingers danced over the ivory keys.
“It sounds beautiful” you say.
He doesn’t respond.
“Edward, what’s the matter? You’ve hardly spoken to me all day.”
“Do you ever wish I was human?”
The question catches you off guard.
“To wish for you to be human would be to change you, and I happen to love you just the way you are.”
He huffs, his fingers halting.
“But don’t you wish I was warm? Don’t you wish I could eat the foods you like, actually sleep next to you at night, grow old with you?”
You sit down next to him at the stool and take his hands in your own.
“What were you like when you were human?”
The change of subject seems to catch him off guard, his face twists slightly as he thinks. He pauses for a beat before answering.
“I was a bit of a troublemaker. My mom always said I was giving her grey hairs way too early. I didn’t do any of my schoolwork, I just wanted to go and be free.”
“Hm, sounds like the you that could sleep, eat, and grow old was a bit of a wild card. Not really my type. You know I prefer the sophisticated, musical type.”
He laughs at that, hanging his head down to press a kiss to your joined hands.
“So what you’re saying is you like the version of me without a soul better,” he says bitterly. You frown at that.
“No, I’m saying I like the you that I have now. I love you, Edward. I would never trade you for anyone else in the world whether they have a pulse or not.”
He’s quiet for a moment.
“You know this is how it will always be, right? I’ll always be here, trying some new way to push you away from me. To make you realize that you deserve better.”
“And I’ll always be here to take care of you and make sure you know that my mind will never change.”
“Taking care of me for the rest of your life… talk about the worst job you could get.”
“Only it won’t be a job. Not for me. Not when it’s for you.”
He looks at you then, finally. His big, black eyes staring into yours.
You’ve wished it before, but in this moment you wish you were the one who could read his mind instead of the other way around.
“You’re so stupid,” he smiles, and leans in for a kiss.
Maybe one day he’ll fully believe you.

Alice:
Alice has a tendency to shut down whenever there’s too much going on
Too many people are on the cusp of making decisions that could change their lives
It seems that every person she meets on the street has a vision attached
She can’t take it anymore
You find her curled up in a ball in her room, the TV playing a program you don’t think she’s watching.
Around her are scattered sketchbook pages, each one hastily ripped from the pad and thrown to the floor.
On these pages are drawings of buildings, people, animals, and tragedies. You catch the face of a woman who’s screaming as a bullet heads straight for her face. In another is an open room with a small grenade in the center.
No wonder she’s been so upset.
None of the pages show joy, every single one a warning of a disaster that’s just waiting to happen.
In front of her, there’s a stack of drawings that she’s flipping through. On one of them you catch what looks like your face, only it’s contorted in a scream. In another you see Jasper, but you can’t make out what’s around him.
“Alice,” you call out, and her head whips up. Maybe she hadn’t heard you like you thought she did. “What’s wrong?”
She looks at you like a deer in headlights for a moment, before her eyes glance back down to the papers in front of her.
“There’s nothing wrong. Not yet, at least.”
Her tone is grave. You can hear the desperation for an answer, or at least a break.
You sigh, and move to sit next to her. You reach to take the stack of papers from her, meeting no resistance. If she wanted to keep them from you, she could. But she knew now that fighting you was always going to be useless.
“Alice, I know you can’t control the fact that you see these visions. But you can control how much you obsess over them. This isn’t healthy.”
“I don’t need to be healthy. I can’t die or get sick.”
You sigh again. “That’s not what I mean and you know it. You can’t keep withering away in here obsessing over what might happen.”
“But-“
“No buts.” You say, throwing the stack of papers to the side. “How long ago did you have these visions?”
She thinks for a moment.
“Yesterday, I think.”
“Alright. Have they happened yet?”
“Well, no…”
“From what you saw, are they still a possibility now?”
“…they are… a very low possibility…”
You could see her reluctantly piecing together your words, clearly not wanting to admit her mistake out loud.
“Look, Alice, you know that I’m always touched by you looking out for me, but in moments like this I need to look out for you too.”
She looks into your eyes, then hangs her head again.
“But that’s not how it’s supposed to be. My gift, I should be the one taking care of you-“
“No. There is no ‘supposed to’ anything. Humans aren’t ‘supposed to’ be with vampires and yet here we are. So please just come with me and watch a movie or cuddle or something?”
She looks at you again, then. Staring into your eyes, then glancing around her room, at all of the papers, then back to you. She smiles slightly and floats up to her feet.
“Fine. But I’m picking the movie.”

Jasper:
This is a man who needs some serious love and reassurance
He’s always on edge around you, even if he plays it off like he isn’t
He’s just always so scared of hurting you or doing something wrong
And a lot of the time that manifests as him isolating himself to try and get you to leave him
It was gonna be one of those nights again.
A night that you would spend alone in the bed you were supposed to be sharing with the love of your life, Jasper.
But no. On a night like this, he’s out in the woods, far, far away. Stewing in his feelings and brooding.
You don’t even remember anything happening this time. Sometimes something can set him off; a jab from someone at school, a hug he gave you that ended up being WAY too tight, anything really. Anything that reminds him of how he’s not supposed to be with you.
But right about now, you’re sick of it.
The Cullens have taken to being quieter at night since you’ve started sleeping over a lot more, but you know they’re all here- all except for the one you want.
So it being 2 am won’t bother any of the other residents of the house. You roll out of bed and march your way over to the door, throwing it open (politely) and stomping down the steps.
Emmett is the first one you see, and you decide he’ll be perfect for the job anyway.
“What’s got you going, firecracker?” He asks.
“I need you to go find Jasper and bring him to me. Now. I need to talk to him,” you couldn’t help the anger and frustration that seeped into your voice. Lack of sleep will do that to you.
Emmett stood up straight and gave a stupid salute, “One loner coming right up, boss.”
And with that he was out of the door, and you trudged back upstairs to wait for your boyfriend.
You were laying in the bed, still trying desperately to go to sleep when you heard a light knock on the door. Your eyes flicked open to see Jasper standing in the doorway, looking completely out of place and uncomfortable.
All of your anger left instantly, all you saw was the sweet man who was far too worried for his own good.
You sighed and scooted over, patting the spot next to you.
“Come here, Jasper.”
A look of what could only be described as fear flashed across his face before he shook his head and muttered a small, “i can’t.”
You sighed again and stood up, making your way over to him. When you reached him, you stretched your arms out to take his face in your hands, his eyes wouldn’t meet yours.
“Look, Jas, I don’t know what you’re thinking, but I have a pretty damn good idea. You’re not gonna hurt me.”
“You don’t know that,” he says, looking into your eyes, something about the black made him look more human, more scared. “Vampires are already dangerous, but I’m the worst of the worst. You’ve found yourself a faulty cannon amongst rifles, darling.”
You frowned at his analogy, squeezing his perfect face in your hands.
“You are NOT faulty, you hear me? You are perfect. Perfect for me, at least.”
“The perfect man for you wouldn’t be tearing himself up inside trying not to kill you.”
“And a lesser man would have already done it.” He was shocked at that, stunned into silence. He hung his head slightly, not meeting your eyes once more.
“And what if I do hurt you one day? Would you ever forgive me? Could I ever forgive myself?”
“I don’t think you will. But if you do, Carlisle will put me back together and I’ll jump right back into your arms.”
His eyes bore into your soul as he stared at you like you were crazy.
“Why the hell would you do that? Come running right back to me?”
“To make sure you don’t hate yourself for too long. Now come on, I’m tired and I can’t sleep without my personal AC unit.”
He looked at you with disbelief. You knew he didn’t believe you, you don’t know if he ever will.
But that’s okay. You’ll keep him right here, and pull him back to you every time he runs away.
Eventually, he’ll understand that you love him.

Rosalie:
The topic of kids has always been a very touchy one for Rosalie
It’s all she’s ever wanted, and all that she still wants
Most days, the pain is not too much of an issue
But some days, it just gets to be too much
You and Rosalie were walking down the street, hand in hand as you strolled by the different shops and food stands.
The city was busy today, many young couples out and about, shopping, talking, kissing far too passionately to be in public, the usual.
“Rose, do you mind if we sit down for a bit? These shoes Alice chose for me look really nice, but they are so uncomfortable.”
She giggled, but nodded and led you both to a bench. You sat down with a heavy sigh, finally getting off of your feet after what felt like forever (even though it was only about an hour).
Across the way in the little park you’ve both found yourself in, a young couple is sitting on a bench.
The woman has long, flowing, blonde hair that frames her face in loose curls. She’s wearing a gorgeous floral-patterned dress, and on her left hand is quite possibly the biggest, gaudiest ring you have ever seen.
To her right, a man sits, one who bears a striking resemblance to you, regardless of gender.
And in the middle, a little baby. A perfect mix of the two, her hair and his eyes, her nose and his jawline, all swaddled in a cute little onesie.
You’re about to turn to Rosalie to point out the cute baby (she always loves to look and maybe go touch it if the parents allow her to) when you see that she’s already looking.
Her face is grave, like she’s looking at her own headstone. Her face is twisted in grief, and she looks on the verge of tears.
It takes you a second to connect the dots, but once you do, your heart clenches for her.
That woman looks like her, reminds Rosalie of herself. And the man looks like you. And that baby is what she wants, all she’s ever wanted. What she can’t have.
Babies are always hard for her, but this struck a deep chord.
“Rose… do you wanna go home?” You ask softly, not wanting to come off as pushy.
“…”
“Come on, let’s go,” you grab her arm to pull her up, she goes with you, but keeps her head craned back to the young couple the whole time.
Once you’re far away, she breaks down. You’ve never seen a vampire cry, and that’s probably because they can’t. But if they could, Rosalie would be sobbing.
You know it’s bad because she doesn’t even care that she falls to the floor in this dirty, nasty alleyway. Normal Rosalie would rather die 100 times over than get her clothes dirty, especially here.
You sit down next to her, letting her dry heave and gasp into your shoulder, her wails breaking your heart.
You’re helpless here. Cause what can you really do? You can’t give her a kid, she can’t give you one either. You can’t go back in time and stop her from being killed. And you can’t go back and steal that baby from that couple (even though you kind of really want to).
So you just hold her.
You run her hair, pat her back, kiss her head, and whisper into her ear. How much you love her, how she’s perfect, how it’s okay, how you don’t think less of her.
Once she’s calmed down and her breathing has slowed, she looks up at you.
“I’m so sorry. You shouldn’t be seeing this side of me.”
“What? I want to be here for you, Rose. I know I can’t fix this for you, but at least I can-“
“Fix it? Darling, don’t worry about fixing me. I’m already completely broken, there’s nothing to fix.”
With that you just take a moment to look at her. Her face screams that she is broken. In her soul, at least. Her and Edward are a lot more similar than they like to think.
“Rosalie. You are not broken. There is nothing wrong with you.”
She scoffs at that. “I’m not human. I’d say that’s pretty wrong. Not to mention the fact that I can’t even look at a couple with a baby and not want to violently kill someone.”
“And that’s okay.”
She scoffs again.
“No, really, Rose. I mean it. I’m never ever going to think less of you for something like this. You went through something I can never even imagine and now you’re left to pick up the pieces. Just let me help you.”
She looks at you, her eyes staring into yours. The grief that she’s feeling is evident. But deep in her eyes, you see a touch of something else. Trust, maybe.
“You know, you’re gonna be picking up pieces for the rest of your life.”
“That’s okay, I don’t mind. Not if it’s you.”

Emmett:
He likes to pretend to be all big and bad all of the time
But in reality, he's still a person
He just has a hard time remembering that sometimes
You don't know where he got all of that energy from.
I mean, realistically, you know that he can never get tired.
But really, even for a vampire this was unnatural.
Some nobody in school had challenged him to an arm wrestle. Of course, he can never resist. He grabbed the guy's hand and prepared to pummel him, only to flinch and have his hand thrown down against the wood of the desk.
The guy had one of those fake shock things in his hand, and as soon as Emmett clamped down it vibrated like crazy.
To say he was pissed would be an understatement.
And now he was taking all of that anger out on the trees around the Cullen house.
"That-" punch "fucking-" punch "ASSHOLE!" punch punch punch
It had been days. And you were honestly getting worried. He hadn't hunted in those days, much less came inside the house. You're surprised the park ranger hasn't come knocking yet.
You heard a hollowed cracking sound and looked to see Emmett standing triumphantly as a rather large oak tree fell to the ground, followed by a guttural roar from the man.
"Emmett," you called, barely above a whisper. But you know he heard you. "Come over here please."
He looks at you with a slightly guilty look, the anger from before fading away as he hangs his head and trudges over to you. He stops just a few feet in front of you, lamely kicking the rocks beneath his toes as he avoids your eyes.
“What’s wrong?”
“It’s that stupid fucking guy-“
“No,” you stop him, putting your hand up to silence him. “What’s actually wrong? Don’t tell me you’re seriously this pissed about losing an arm wrestling match with some nobody.”
He just stood there in silence for a second. You took this chance to stand up and grab his face in your hands, instantly he leaned in, perching his head on your palms.
“I just… need to be strong. That’s what I am, I need to be strong,” he whispered, his voice coming out shy and meek.
You just smiled at him sadly and rubbed his cheek.
“I can be strong too you know. So every once in a while you can let me take care of you instead.”
He laughed at that.
“You, strong? As if. I could fold you in half!”
You punched him lightly in the arm.
“You jerk! I’m trying to be sentimental!”
He laughed again and grabbed your hands, bringing them back up to their previous spot cradling his face.
“Ok ok, serious sentimental time.”
You just laughed and kissed him.
Tumblr media
Esme:
She has a bad habit of overreacting
Just a dash of anxiety
So when something-anything happens to you, she freaks out
This is bad.
Like really, really bad.
You were supposed to be driving to go see Esme at the Cullen house, but of course your piece-of-shit car decided that now would be a perfect time to break down.
Too far away from home to walk back, too far away from the Cullens to walk there, and the nearest anything was also too far.
Not to mention the snow covering the ground didn’t really entice you to get out of your still-warm car.
So you tried calling someone to come get you.
Only, of course there’s no service out here because why would there be.
Just your luck.
You weigh your options, and decide that walking is just gonna have to do.
You didn’t pack a winter coat because you didn’t think you’d be outside for this long, but you had a blanket stored in your backseat and it was better than nothing.
So off you trekked through the freezing cold winter storm to the Cullen house.
Inside, Esme was (in)patiently waiting.
Your favorite meal was waiting for you, already plated and getting colder by the second on the dining room table.
You said you were on your way 30 minutes ago. It takes about 30 minutes to get from your house to their house.
So where were you?
Her ears perked at the sound of a slowly beating heart coming from down the driveway.
It didn’t sound like one of the foxes or deer that roam around this time of year. No, it sounded a bit bigger, a bit more human.
She was out the door in a flash. Before anyone had the chance to ask what she was doing she was by your side.
“Oh my god, honey, why are you out here?!”
“An angel…” and then you collapsed.
Cue Esme absolutely freaking the fuck out.
She has you in front of a lit fireplace, a heating blanket rested over your shoulders and a warm towel on your head.
She’s pacing back and forth in front of you. She wants to hold you so bad, to kiss you, cuddle you, protect you. But she can’t. She’ll just make the shivers wracking your body even worse.
“Es…” you croak, your eyes blinking open finally.
“Oh my god! Are you okay? How are you feeling? Why were you out there? Where’s your car? Why didn’t you call me?”
“Shhhh,” you whisper, bringing your finger up to shush her. “Just come here.”
You open up your blanket in an invitation to her.
“Are you out of your mind? I can’t cuddle with you right now, I’ll freeze you!”
“Please, you deserve to be taken care of too.”
She crumbles at that, you can see the resolve leaving her face. And then she figures that you won’t get too cold with the heated blanket and everything.
She cuddles up next to you, wrapping her arms around your waist and ducking her head into your neck.
“I’m so sorry, I should have been there. And least of all I shouldn’t be such a mess right now.”
“It’s okay to be a mess, I’ll always be here to hold you.”

Carlisle:
No one really talks about the stress of being a pretend father for a bunch of eternal teenagers
Really, it’s a blessing that he doesn’t need sleep and isn’t affected by long hours
But despite that, he still gets so worn out
Today had been a long day for Carlisle.
It was student-teacher conference day. And while that’s not usually an issue since he always tells the kids to behave, Emmett decided it was necessary to punch a kid last week.
To be honest, Carlisle didn’t really care if the kid was a bully or not, all he viewed it as was something more drawing attention to them.
On top of that, the cattiness between Edward and Rosalie seemed to be especially bad today.
They were at each other’s throats for the better part of the day, and nothing would get them to separate.
At work, at least a dozen new patients showed up. A factory that was close by had a gas leak, very minor. None of the people were harmed at all, but many still insisted on going to the clinic.
Carlisle’s not one to discourage people from getting checked out, but he is one to tell people to go home when they’re fine, which everyone was.
But these people kept insisting something was wrong. A boy with a broken arm had to wait for three hours for a room to open up because the factory workers refused to leave.
By the time he got home, he was exhausted, you could tell. His eyes were heavy, as were his footsteps. His hair was disheveled, he had clearly been running his fingers through it all day from the stress.
He looked like a mess. But even then, he greeted you with a smile and a kiss on the cheek.
He always takes such good care of you, whether you’re sick or not, he’s always there with whatever you want.
Now it’s your turn.
“Carlisle, are you busy?” You ask, peeking into his home office. Even after the super long day, he’s a man of habit.
“Not particularly,” he turns to look at you, setting his pen down, “why?”
“Follow me.”
You lead him to the bathroom, where a nice, warm back is drawn. Complete with lilac scented bath oil and two candles lit on the sink.
“The bath looks beautiful, darling. I’m sure the lavender will be great for your skin.”
“Oh, it’s not for me,” you quip. All he does is raise an eyebrow. “It’s for you. I know you’ve had a long day, so go relax and meet me in the bedroom when you’re done.”
You don’t give him a chance to argue before you leave, shutting the door tightly behind you.
He emerges about 30 minutes later, still toweling his hair off.
“Ok now come on over here,” you pat the bed next to you, motioning him to sit there. Again, all he does is quirk and eyebrow but he obliges.
You take the remote to the TV in yours and Carlisle’s room, turning on his favorite movie. A classic one from the silent film era.
“But this… I haven’t seen this movie in years… how did you get it?”
“That’s the beauty of streaming platforms.”
You both sit in silence for a while, Carlisle seemingly happy to just watch his favorite movie after so long. Eventually, he turns to look at you with an inquisitive expression.
“So, what’s all this for?”
“What, am I not allowed to take care of you from time to time?”
He laughs slightly at that.
“A human taking care of a vampire, how twisted.”
You grab his face between your hands at that, drawing him close and looking deep into his yellow eyes.
“It’s not if I want to do it, and I would move the Earth for you.”
“Hopeless romantic,” and with that he kisses you.

Vampire! Bella:
She tends to… shut down
We all know how she was when she couldn’t be with Edward
That translates over
It really wasn’t supposed to be that big of a deal.
Your Spanish class was going to be taking a two week trip to Spain.
Only, Bella wasn’t in Spanish. This time around, she chose to take French. Which was all fine and good, until it meant that she couldn’t go with you.
Cue two weeks of endless calls and texts.
On the phone with you , she sounds fine. But from your calls with Alice, she’s not doing too hot.
She hasn’t been hunting since you’ve been gone, she’s completely stopped going to class, and she also hasn’t talked to anyone in the house.
It’s the last night of your trip, you’re in your hotel room, the girl you’re sharing with is sound asleep in the other bed, but you know one girl who’s never asleep.
You call Bella’s number, and she answers instantly, like she’s been waiting all day for you to call. In all honesty, she probably has.
“Hey, what are you up to?” You can hear the attempt to be nonchalant in her voice, but her eagerness gives her away.
“Oh nothing, I just got off the phone with Alice… wanna tell me why you didn’t leave our room today? Or yesterday? Or the day before?”
You can hear her pause on the line, like she’s trying to come up with a convincing lie, but eventually she sighs.
“I just… I’ve just been missing you a lot, is all. I want you here next to me, I feel incomplete without you.”
Yowch. Right through the heart.
You decide then to help in some way, you don’t know how immediately, but you have to do something.
So you start to hum.
Whenever you have a bad day, Bella hums the song her mom used to sing to her. You always ask her to, and even though she says she isn’t a great singer, she indulges you anyway.
Sometimes it’s the only thing that can stop you from a panic attack or calm you enough to go back to sleep after a nightmare.
You hear her gasp slightly before y he sound of sheets rustling, presumably her laying her head down.
You go through the whole song twice over, Bella never telling you to stop or joining you.
After your voice fades out and the line stays dead for a moment, you swear you can hear Bella overthinking.
“You know, you didn’t have to do that. I’m an apex predator. I shouldn’t be so upset whenever you leave for a little bit.”
You laugh lightly at that, and you can hear her scoff across the line.
“I don’t mind. Especially when it’s you. Bella, I love you and I would do anything for you.”
“Even if I’m a beautiful monster who was designed to kill you?”
“Even if you did kill me, I would hope that my blood nourishes you for months on end.”

Teenage Dirtbag (Part 2/3)
Pairing: Rodrick Heffley x Reader
Summary: You and Rodrick Heffley grew up right next door to each other. You’re best friends and nothing could ever change that… at least that’s what you’ve always thought.
Word Count: 4.1k
A/N: I broke part 2 up into two so there will now be three parts to this fic
Part 1
Tumblr media
“This is so weird,” Greg whispered to David and Rowley, both currently sitting on either side of him, all three of them crowded around the TV as Greg played Twisted Wizard “Are they still doing it?”
Rowley glanced behind him, “Yeah…” he answered uneasily, “Did something happen?”
"Not that I know of," David shrugged.
"Me neither."
All three of them turned around again, the sight sending a chill down their spines.
It should have been just like any other Saturday. Rodrick grounded as usual. You coming over to hang out with Rodrick despite his punishment. Greg and his friends playing video games. And both parents out with Manny.
Only it wasn't like any other Saturday. Because instead of choosing to hang out in Rodrick's room or torturing the kids (which tended to be your only hobbies you could think of when one of you was grounded), both you and Rodrick were sitting on either side of the couch, an entire cushion apart and stiff as a board. You guys weren't talking-- in fact Greg could have sworn you guys haven't even looked at each other since you showed up. All you two were doing was watching the video game as well. It was so out of character for you both that the boys were completely creeped out... they were starting to wish you two were all over each other like usual just to have that sense of normalcy... even if that meant hunting them down and beating on them or making fun of them.
It was your fault really. You thought you could just show up to the Heffley's and hang out with Rodrick, pretending that nothing happened last night.
Turns out a teenage boy can't just pretend that they didn't witness their best friend dancing around completely naked. And turns out you can't just pretend your best friend didn't see you in all your glory.
You played with the rings on your fingers, fidgeting to try and distract yourself from the elephant in the room. Should you bring it up and try to laugh it off? Try and carry on as if he saw nothing? Maybe a subtle joke about making sure your blinds were closed before getting changed?
Fuck-- nothing this mortifying has ever happened to you before.
You and your friends were practically known for being too stupid to be embarrassed about anything. There was nothing that you guys ever did that kept you from showing your faces around school. Not the time that Rodrick made a complete fool of himself at Heather's Sweet 16 and still having the audacity to ask her out right after, not the time you and the rest of Löded Diper were hanging out backstage during an assembly and you told the guys you thought Mr. Andrews was hot without knowing that the overhead mic's were on and the entire assembly heard you, and not even the time you and the guys delivered a presentation high out of your fucking minds.
But for some reason, even though Rodrick was the only other person involved, you felt liked you'd never be able to live this down.
"Cool!" David exclaimed, "My mom just texted me that she can take all of us out for ice cream right now!"
"Really!?" Rowley shouted excitedly.
"Awesome! Let's go!" Greg said, pausing the game and throwing the controller on the ground as the boys then ran for the door and got their shoes on before running outside to meet your mom.
And now... that makes two.
You both continued to sit awkwardly, twiddling your thumbs and shifting in your seats.
You don't know how much time passed before Rodrick was the one to break the silence.
"So..." you pursed your lips, waiting for the bomb, "You never told me you had a tattoo on your hip."
At that you folded in on yourself, burying your face in your hands, "Let's not do this," you groaned out, words muffled by your hands. "It's too embarrassing."
"It wasn't that bad," Rodrick tried to offer.
"Yes it was. That was completely humiliating last night."
“It could’ve been worse.”
”Yeah? How?” You grumbled into your hands.
”I mean…” he trailed off, picking at a pink thread from his jeans, “You could… have the body of a sixty year old…”
You paused, “How would I— y’know what? Nevermind,” you stood up, “I’m gonna go. It’s too weird, maybe when we’ve both had some space—“
”No!” Rodrick grasped your wrist, stopping you short, “You don’t need to leave— I’m telling you it wasn’t that bad!”
You set your jaw, looking down at him. The sudden nervousness that radiated from him was palpable as he broke eye contact, glanced down at where his hand wrapped around your wrist and quickly let go.
”See! Right there!”
”Right there what!?” He yelled back, staring at his lap with a growing blush.
”This is weird and I’m going—“
Just as you took another step Rodrick shot up from his seat, “No it’s not! We just need to do something normal—once we hang out like normal we’ll forget all about it!”
”Like what?” You crossed your arms, looking at him skeptically.
”Like- like,” you watched as Rodrick frantically searched his brain for an idea, “We can go to the arcade!”
”You’re grounded dumbass,” you rolled your eyes.
”Susan’s not gonna be home for at least another three hours. We can go for two and be back and she’ll never know!”
You shifted on your feet, weighing your options. You could both get in trouble yes, but it did beat being bored at home or spending the next three hours in uncomfortable silence.
And you suppose he had a point. The event was still fresh and was just weighing heavily on your minds. Time would heal the awkward air and getting back into the swing of things would hopefully ease the awkwardness.
Pretty soon you’d both forget the entire thing even happened.
——
”What are you doing?”
Rodrick had pulled away so quickly from his blinds you would have thought they had burned him.
”Nothing you little shit— what are you doing in my room!” He had spat at Greg who stood awkwardly by his steps.
”Mom says dinner is ready— are you spying on (Y/N) or something?”
”No,” his voice cracked to which he quickly cleared, “Get out!” He scrambled to yank his shoe off which he had then chucked at his younger brother.
”Okay!” Greg yelled before stumbling down the stairs.
Rodrick Heffley was convinced that he was losing his mind.
It had been five nights since he had witnessed you dancing around naked in your bedroom.
In other words, it had been five nights checking to see if he could catch you dancing around naked again.
He couldn’t help it. He was a teenage boy that had never seen a girl naked that wasn’t in a magazine or online.
And until recently he didn’t even believe you had all those same… parts as the girls he stared at.
But you did. And he saw them. And he came to the fast realization that he wanted to see them again.
And gingerly, for the umpteenth time that night, he had stuck his fingers into his blinds and pulled it down to peak through them.
You were still sitting in bed in your Löded Diper t-shirt, trying to catch up on what he assumed to be late homework.
He had truly fooled himself into thinking things could go back to normal. You had always been one of the guys— an honorable member of Löded Diper, you were practically the manager at this point. You had both grown up together and probably spent more time with each other than with your own respective siblings.
It’s been five days, he should be past this by now.
But he wasn’t.
Instead he started to notice all the things that made you a girl— an actual breathing girl that wanted to talk to him.
He had never noticed just how girlish your laugh was, it typically ended with a snort to which he would always scrunch his nose at but as it turned out the melodic laughter that preceded those snorts was actually quite… cute— in a way.
Even the simple gesture of you brushing your hair back behind your ear had made— what was the saying? Well, whatever it was it made him feel like moths were chewing at his stomach lining.
Or even—
“Rodrick!”
His blinds snapped shut upon removing his fingers, “I’m coming!” He called back in annoyance before stomping downstairs.
Making his way into the dining room, he found his family had already started eating without him— not that he really gave a shit. He wordlessly plopped down in his seat and picked up his fork.
He stabbed the meat on his plate and took a bite out of it, not bothering to cut it, instead opting to let the rest hang off the fork.
His mom had served chicken francese tonight.
Chicken francese was your favorite.
Rodrick grimaced— even chicken was making him think of you.
”What? You don’t like it?” Susan asked with a huff at Rodrick’s reaction.
”What? No—“
”No I don’t want to hear it. If you don’t like it that much then you might as well take it to (Y/N). At least she appreciates my cooking.”
“I can go over to (Y/N)’s? Even though I’m grounded?” He suddenly asked with a mouth full of food and an eagerness that was making Frank raise his eyebrow. He looked about ready to jump out of his seat and run out the front door.
“No!” Susan snapped, affronted, “Eat your dinner. And don’t talk with your mouth full.”
Rodrick seemed to deflate, picking up the fork he had dropped onto his plate and taking another bite.
A silence fell over the family, the sounds of metal scratching against ceramic and chewing filling the space.
That was until Frank cleared his throat, “So, uh, speaking of (Y/N)…” Rodrick’s head snapped up towards his father in terror, and he shifted nervously… there was no way he actually knew what had happened right? “You two seem closer…” he trailed off awkwardly.
Rodrick glanced at Greg who started snickering— did he know something? Did he tell their dad he had seen you naked? Or maybe that he caught him peeping on you through his blinds before?
He kicked him hard under the table, making the plates and cutlery rattle atop the table.
“Ow!” Greg cried.
”Rodrick!” Susan reprimanded.
”We’ve always been close,” Rodrick answered, ignoring his mom, “Everyone knows that,” he said with an awkward laugh.
”Yeah, but l mean recently—“
”Recently what? Nothing’s changed recently, everything’s the same,” he rambled, scratching the back of his ear with a blush he prayed no one saw.
”Okay, look,” Frank lowered his voice, leaning towards his son, “I wanted to have this conversation in private but your mother—“
”(Y/N) is like family so I think this should be discussed as a family.”
Rodrick’s eyes widened as he realized what was happening, he glanced at Greg who looked like it was Christmas morning.
”Are you and (Y/N) dating?” Susan asked.
Greg immediately started laughing.
”What? No—“ he looked back and forth between his parents, “It’s (Y/N)— that would be gross, y’know, ew—“ he spluttered, though not as convincingly as he would have a week ago.
”Are you sure?” Frank asked— he clearly wasn’t buying it. “Because your mother brought up a good point the other day. Did something happen between you two over the summer when you went on vacation with your friends?”
Okay, now he was confused.
”Huh?”
“Because it’s okay if it did,” Susan interjected, “We all love (Y/N), right Greg?”
”Yeah, I guess,” he grumbled with a shrug, stabbing his own chicken.
”Nothing happened on vacation,” Rodrick answered honestly— why would they even think that?
”You’re sure?” Frank asked, “Because you two seem to be a lot closer since that trip.”
Rodrick had to disagree. Nothing happened on that trip. It was mainly spent at Ben’s family’s lake house where you all spent every night getting drunk and every morning hungover. And sure maybe he learned a lot about you and his other friends during that trip as everyone had loose lips due to the alcohol— and okay maybe there was that one really drunken night you and Rodrick ended up getting stuck in the bathroom because the door got jammed but neither of you could remember that night anyway, it was mostly the morning when you both woke up cuddling in the bathtub that—
Rodrick’s face flushed with the memory.
And that had never happened before, but now the thought of you cuddled up to him with nothing more than a few layers of clothing separating the two of you…— and now he was thinking about you naked again.
Frank looked to Susan at his reaction. It seemed he was getting somewhere.
”Rodrick?” He questioned, trying to get his son to look at him.
His eyes snapped to his father’s as his mouth gaped like a fish, he suddenly shot out of his chair.
”God— what’s with the third degree! We’re just friends” He exclaimed, shrilly, grabbing his dinner and fork, “I plead the fifth!” He was then running back upstairs to his room, leaving his family in stunned silence.
Susan nodded, sure of herself now, “Frank, I think it’s time you had the talk with him—“
”Uh, can I go?” Greg asked, suddenly feeling uncomfortable.
”No, finish your dinner.”
”But Rodrick left—“
”He’s going through a lot of emotions right now, you’ll understand when you’re his age,” she turned back to her husband.
”I’m pretty sure the school gives those talks now, honey,” Frank said uncomfortably.
”Yes, but it’s different when it’s coming from the parents. It might actually be best if we talked to her parents as well and sat the two of them down all together.”
Frank stared at his wife in utter shock… the ideas this woman comes up with…
* * * *
Rodrick ran upstairs, slamming his door shut before landing on his bed and shoveling the food on his plate into his mouth with a sneer as his parents words chirped endlessly in his head.
You and him have always been close, there was zero change in that after that trip. They were just delusional.
Just like there was zero change in your relationship after he saw you naked. Like yeah, maybe he did want to see you naked again but that wasn’t any indication that your relationship changed—
There was a tap at his window.
He dropped his plate on top of his bed, getting green beans and sauce all over his blankets, before practically stumbling over his own two feet to get the blinds up.
There you were, sitting on your roof with a handful of thumbs tacks that you used to throw at his window.
You jumped at his abruptness, hand already poised to throw another thumb tack.
He opened his window, “What?”
You ignored his odd behavior, he was always a weirdo anyways.
“Bill invited us to go hang in his basement.”
”But I’m grounded.”
”So?” You scoffed.
”Right now? My family’s still up.”
”We can sneak out in like an hour then,” you rolled your eyes. “I’m going whether or not you’re coming.”
”Alright fine,” he hissed, “We can go in an hour.”
”Nice.”
After an hour of waiting and listening to his family get ready for bed from downstairs, Rodrick threw on a hoodie and slipped his sneakers on, and found himself climbing out of his window and onto the roof.
You hadn’t been far behind, not bothering to change out of your pajama shorts and Löded Diper t-shirt, instead adding your own sneakers and a zip up.
Rodrick climbed down the tree between your windows before you did, grabbing onto your waist and helping you down the rest of the way like he has many times before.
But his hands had never burned at the touch before.
”Okay, let’s go,” you said, grabbing onto his wrist and tugging him towards your car.
He stared at your hand wrapped around his wrist.
Have you two always touched this much?
His cheeks felt like they were on fire from all the blood rushing to his head.
Rushing into the car you slammed your doors shut and turned it on, before peeling out of the spot you were parked in in front of your house and down the street.
On the way to Bill’s you almost crashed twice, which was less than usual so you considered it a pretty decent drive.
Parking in front of Bill’s you went to the side door that led straight into the basement he lived in.
His parents must have been out because they always hated when he invited you guys over— something about Bill hanging out with high schoolers not being appropriate.
You skipped down the steps with Rodrick in tow.
”Hello losers!” You greeted, making the others say their own hello’s.
Ben lit up, “Hello, legs,” he said in awe, seeing your bare legs descend the steps before seeing the rest of you.
”Ew,” you rolled your eyes, jumping on Bill’s couch, kicking your feet up on the coffee table, reaching over for the open bag of chips by your feet.
Bill had been laying in his bed while Ben and Chris sat on the floor playing some card game.
Rodrick sat beside you, reaching a hand into the chip bag you offered him.
”So what are we doing?” Rodrick asked.
Bill shrugged, “Dunno. I was bored and my family’s out.”
”So you invited us to be bored with you?” You asked, raising a brow.
”Nooo,” he dragged out, “I invited you to entertain me.”
You rolled your eyes, standing back up and making your way to his mini fridge, “Got any beers?” You asked, pulling the door open. Your eyes lit up as they landed on his stash.
Turns out he only had beer.
You took one out and cracked it open, you grabbed another and tossed it to Rodrick to which he fumbled with a couple times before catching it.
”You didn’t tell us you had beer,” Ben said excitedly, scrambling from his spot on the ground and grabbing the two beers for him and Chris you handed him.
”You saw me drinking for the last hour,” Bill furrowed his eyebrows.
”So how’s the grounding going?” Chris called over his shoulder, taking his drink from Ben as he sat back down.
You took a swig of your own, plopping back down besides Rodrick.
”Well I’m here right now so I’d say it’s going pretty great,” he muttered.
”Susan’s been micromanaging him all week,” you also answered, “So we probably only have about an hour before she goes to check on him.”
”That blows,” Bill said, “Hey,” he suddenly said, getting an idea, “Maybe you should try getting grounded less.”
”Yeah, I’ll work right on that.”
The next fifteen minutes were filled with idle chit chat about the band and a couple parties that were coming up.
“Again?” Ben scoffed, throwing his cards down. “This is rigged,” He got up from his game.
”Or maybe you just suck,” Chris laughed, grinning as he won yet again, sprawling out on the floor as it seemed they were done for the night, but not before taking a drink of his beer.
Ben made his way over to you, squeezing himself in the tight space between you and the arm rest of the couch, throwing an arm around your shoulders.
You rolled your eyes, scooching over towards Rodrick a bit.
”Soooo,” Ben said, dragging the word out.
”Yesss,” you mimicked.
”I saw you talking to Heather Hills today, what was that about?”
”Oh that?” You scoffed, “I have to work with her on some stupid project. She was telling me I have to pull my own weight on it because she’s not risking a bad grade because ‘I don’t take shit seriously’ or whatever she said— but I don’t exactly see that Princess studying and working hard either so I don’t think she has any right talking to me like that. Glass stones, y’know.”
”Uh-huh,” Ben said, clearly ignoring your rant, “So you’ll be seeing and talking to her regularly?”
”I guess so, we’re working on it in class.”
”Any chance my name can come up in these talks?”
Oh right, that’s where this was going, cause every fucking male in this goddamn school had a hard on for the brat.
“Slim to none,” you answered, “Besides, I promised Rodrick here,” you slapped his knee, making him jump at the touch to which you ignored, “That I’d wingman for him if the opportunity ever came up.”
”He doesn’t mind! Right Rodrick!” He leaned over you to look at his best friend. He didn’t respond, “Rodrick?” He followed Rodrick’s gaze right to your legs, “Hey! Are you staring at my girl!?”
You scoffed, pushing his head back, and moving away from him and towards Rodrick, “How are you already drunk? Knock it off with that ‘my girl’ crap.”
”He was staring at you! Why am I getting yelled at!?”
”I wasn’t staring!” Rodrick yelped, voice cracking a red blush covering his face.
You looked back and forth between the two boys before standing up, your mood souring, “I’m gonna go pee, both of you cool it with the testosterone or I’m leaving.” You grumbled, marching out of the basement and to the bathroom upstairs. The one in Bill’s room was disgusting.
“What’s up with you,” Ben asked, looking at Rodrick peculiarly, “Why the fuck are you so red?”
”God— it’s nothing,” he grunted, “It’s a sunburn.”
”Bullshit,” Chris called out, “You’re blushing!”
“Oh I see,” Bill said with a laugh, “He’s finally coming around to (Y/N). Don’t see her as one of the boys anymore, do ya?”
”Will all of you just shut up,” Rodrick snapped, “I don’t like her like that.”
”No one said anything about liking anybody.”
“But now we’re all thinking you do,” Ben said, raising a brow before an idea popped in his head, shooting up from his seat and pointing an accusing finger at him, “Something happened between you two!” A wide grin stretched across his face.
Bill and Chris were sitting up now.
”I knew it!” Bill laughed, “You two follow each other around like dogs.”
”What happened?” Chris pressed.
Fuck, fuck, fuck— he knows he shouldn’t say anything—
“I saw her naked,” he blurted, his own mouth out of his control.
Well fuck—
Chris and Bill shot to their feet as well, with exclamations on all three of his friends lips.
“How!?”
”When!?”
”Did you have sex!?”
”She forgot to close her blinds a few nights ago.”
Why won’t he shut up.
He guessed it was only a matter of time he’d eventually explode with this information as it was getting harder and harder each day to put it behind him.
”Is she hot!?” Chris exclaimed.
All Rodrick could do was nod guiltily as he continued to divulge more and more information.
All of them cheered again, Ben and Chris practically tackling him as they clapped his back and ruffled his hair in praise.
”What was she doing? Getting changed?”
“She came out of the shower and was dancing to whatever music she was listening to while looking for her pajamas.” Starting to grin slightly at the praise he was receiving.
Ben fell to his knees at that, “So you saw,” he swallowed, “Her,” he gestured to his chest area, “Jiggling?”
”Yeah,” he said breathlessly at the memory.
”Does she know?” Bill asked.
”We made direct eye contact.”
”What’d she do?” Chris now asked.
”As soon as our eyes met we both kinda screamed and I ran out of my room. But we talked it over the next day and everything’s all good.”
”Everything was all good.”
All four guys snapped their sights towards the staircase where you stood with your arms crossed.
”Really Rodrick?” You scoffed, clearly hurt. “What the fuck?”
”(Y/N)!” He stood up now. “I— uh,” he struggled to find the words.
You looked to each of your ‘friends’. “You’re all fucking assholes. Especially you Rodrick, have fun walking home.”
With that all four watched you climb the rest of the stairs before slamming the door shut behind you.
Rodrick groaned.
”Shit.”

artrick phone sex
I gotchu, my love <3
CW: 18+ !NSFW! First time dynamics, angst, Art has avoidance issues like me.
Apologies this may be too long and full of my own personal angst I fear.
—-
“Art?” It’s Patrick.
Art feels his stomach sinking and now he wishes he’d avoided his call, again. He rolls over on his bed and looks at the sparsely decorated wall of his dorm room. It’s his first time talking to Patrick since… since…
He shivers and tries to put it out of his mind.
“Hey,” Art says and clears his throat. “What’s up?”
Patrick chuckles.
Art shivers again. Did his voice always sound that way? Or is Art just crazy still? He’s been really crazy lately. It’s been two weeks and he’s still…
“Really? What’s up?” Patrick mimics. “That’s all you have to say?”
Art shrugs for the benefit of no one but himself. “What—um— what’s wrong with that?”
“Oh I don’t know…” Patrick hums and then he sighs. “Okay fuck it. I’ll go with it. Are you okay?”
Art is still anxious, his stomach still uneasy. It’s just Patrick. His oldest and closest and best friend and yet he can’t relax. He can’t settle down and they're just talking on the phone. He can’t imagine seeing him in person when he inevitably shows up to Stanford again to watch Tashi play. Everything is different now.
“I’m fine, Patrick.” He lies.
“But you don’t want to talk to me?” Patrick sounds weird. Worried? A little. Disappointed? Probably. Sad? Definitely.
Art sighs, he doesn’t want Patrick to be sad. “No I— I’ve just been busy. We had finals last week. And um…. practice has been crazy. I’m um… I started seeing this girl and—” he hears Patrick huff a laugh but barrels through, ignoring it. “Sorry I missed your calls.”
“And texts,” Patrick adds.
“I’m sorry,” Art says again.
They’re quiet for a while. Art turns back to look at the tv. He was watching Sports Center, they were talking about gymnastics. Apparently there had just been some kind of qualifier competition.
“Who’s this new girl your seeing?” Patrick asks. This time Art can’t tell what his tone is.
“Uh well shes nice, pretty. She’s actually not on the team. She’s an English major.”
“Sounds hot,” Patrick says, flatly.
“Yeah, she’s um— she’s nice,” Art says. “Are you—are you high?”
“A little. I won’t lie. Me and the buddy I was telling you about we smoked a couple and then went and got tacos and Margaritas. So fucking good. Who knew Dallas was a food town?”
Art laughs. He begins to relax, this feels more like best friend stuff. Maybe he was overreacting. Avoiding him for two weeks. But of course that wasn’t the only reason Art was avoiding him. “What happened to your match?”
“Uh well— I lost again. This shit is so fucking rigged.” Patrick complains.
“Dude that fucking sucks,” Art says. He sits up on his bed and looks around for his own weed stash.
“Yeah, it’s fine though. I’m going against this guy tomorrow, stats are all over the place but I think I can take him.”
“Whats his name?”
“Moussa or Mousso… I can’t remember but he’s French. Kinda hot, actually.”
Art feels his stomach flip flop again. “Uh… so what about Tashi?”
“She’s good, she actually answers my calls. I mean not tonight but she told me her cousin would be in town so…”
”Do you want me to beg for forgiveness or something?” Art says, smirking.
Patrick takes a breath and doesn’t say anything while Art is rummaging through the bottom drawer of his night stand. He finds the baggy he was looking for and sits up on the bed, legs crossed as he opens it.
“I’m sorry but I was honestly busy.” Art adds when Patrick still hasn’t said anything.
“Are we ever gonna talk about it?” Patrick asks.
Art stops moving. His stomach begins doing all kinds of things again.
“Look I don’t want to… I don’t want it to be weird,” Patrick continues. “I can do whatever you need. If you want me to pretend I didn’t fuck you… okay fine. But you have to talk to me because I’m going fucking crazy.”
Art stares at the television but he’s not seeing anything. He gives up on the weed and tosses it on the nightstand. “Yeah um… okay.”
“What does that mean?”
“Nothing,” Art mutters. “I’m— we can talk.”
“Are you mad at me?”
“No,” Art says. “I—“ he lays back down on his side and looks at the wall, pulling his knees up. He wishes with everything in him that they hadn’t done it in here. In his fucking bed.
He’s got it on a loop playing in his head all the time. Patrick crawling between his legs. The way he looked, hair still damp from the shower, freckles all over, pupils too big, blue eyes all sparkly. How he smelled, like vanilla soap and cigarettes. What he sounded like, voice so much deeper and softer than normal, saying stupid things like “You’re so fucking pretty”, “Gonna make you scream my name,” and then moaning when he got it in.
And how it felt.
God.
How it felt.
That’s the part that stays with him. How much it hurt. And then how much it didn’t hurt at all. By the end Patrick was touching something inside him and he was seeing stars. In between consciousness and some other plane of existence is how good it felt. That was the silly part. Feeling like he wanted it again and again and again.
He let Patrick do it again in the morning. Patrick’s arms wrapped around his waist fucking him on his side while he stared at this wall his whole body blooming with pleasure. And then just sitting with it for the rest of the day. The ache. The stretch. The feeling like everyone could tell. Patrick left that afternoon for the airport, sent Art a text. Well that was fun. Which he ignored. Called him that evening. Also ignored.
Art had been trying to avoid thinking about it ever since (it was impossible). He’s thrown himself into school, tennis, he’s even tried to talk to a new girl. It didn’t go anywhere. In his worst moments he’s even tried to flirt with Tashi. But then he remembers she’s fucking Patrick and his mind swings right back around to the way Patrick fucked him. And that makes him more crazy because now he doesn’t know what the fuck he actually wants.
And every fucking night, late at night he’s lying in bed staring at the wall touching himself over and over… thinking about it.
He doesn’t know how to say any of this to Patrick.
“Did you die?” Patrick asks, dryly. Even now since they’ve been on the phone, just hearing Patricks stupid voice is making Art’s stomach hurt, and his cock fill up.
“No… I’m just confused okay,” Art says.
“About what?”
“I don’t know.”
”Did you hate it?” Patrick asks.
“Not really,” Art murmurs.
“You’re so fucking full of shit,” Patrick groans.
Art sighs and realizes he just mindlessly put his palm on his cock because of how gravelly Patrick’s voice sounds. And fine. Patrick can make him crazy all the way in whatever fucking city hes in however many fucking miles he is away from Palo Alto.
“I’m sorry if I don’t know how to feel. I’ve never… I’d never done any of that before.” Art says quietly.
“And yet you practically begged for it in the morning.” Patrick says softly.
Art swallows thickly.
“I can’t get it out of my head.” Patrick continues. “The way you were rubbing against my dick before you even woke up properly. Fuck. I can’t get you out of my head.”
Art’s rubbing himself now. “I can’t either,” he sighs, he’s starting to lose it again. He feels silly. Too silly to care if Patrick can tell.
“Yeah?” Patrick sounds eager, breathy.
“It was… I still… I still feel it. Is that crazy?” Art says quietly.
Patrick takes a deep breath. “Fuck. You drive me so fucking insane. Are you fucking touching yourself?”
“’m sorry. I just…” Art says, closing his eyes. Somewhere in the back of his mind, Art knows he’s never gonna recover from this but right now it doesn’t matter. He would stop if he could but he can’t.
”You still feel me?”
“Mmhm.”
“Feel me stretching you? you’re so fucking tight I don’t even know if it’s all gonna fit,” Patrick says, his voice sounds like it did. When Arts eyes are closed it’s almost like he can feel Patrick’s breath on his skin.
“Ah—“ Art gasps, grabbing himself properly. “I like the stretch.”
“You love it.” Patrick says. “You don’t even want to wait. Don’t want me to take my time, you’re just so eager you’re pushing that pretty ass back on me.”
“Yeah,” Art gasps, he rolls onto his back and puts the phone on speaker, letting one leg fall open as he jerks himself. “It feels so good—when you fuck me. Its too much. Im too full please… please I don’t think I can take anymore.”
“Oh you fucking liar,” Patrick moans. “You can take it baby. I know you can. You’re a little cock slut already and its only your first time. Fuck. You’re so tight.”
”So tight,” Art says mindlessly as he tries to ease two fingers along his ass, the way Patrick had done before he entered. “I wanna… I want you to… I—I miss you.”
”I miss you too,” Patrick says. “If I was there I’d have you on all fours taking my dick all night.”
“Ah—mmh— Patrick I’m gonna— you’re gonna make me—“ Art cries. The fingers are enough… even dry.
“Come on, yeah… fucking come on my big fat dick sweetheart… come on.. nngh…” Patrick moans.
It’s enough. Hot strings of pearly white are suddenly spurting out of him and spilling everywhere, on his fingers and clothes. On the bedspread. He’s breathless, as his whole body goes lax.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck… I need to be in you again, gahhh..” Art can hear Patrick’s bed squeaking wherever he is and then he’s groaning loudly, and gasping through his own orgasm. “Oh god, oh shit… that was…”
“Yeah,” Art says breathlessly, looking up at the ceiling.
”Mm don’t fucking ignore me again,” Patrick says.
As relaxed as Art feels right now. Distantly, the pit in his stomach is returning. “Patrick… are we… I mean… are we still gonna be… friends?”
“Yeah of course,” Patrick says, easy. He yawns. “Always.”
Art feels tied up in knots but he can tell Patrick’s relaxed, sated, relieved even. If anything he’s going to be asleep in five minutes. No point getting any deeper now.
“You wanna fall asleep on the phone or—?” Patrick asks, yawning again.
“No it’s… it’s fine.” Art says. “I’ll call you tomorrow.”
“Mmkay. Sweet dreams.”
Art bites his tongue to keep himself from saying something fucking stupid that he can’t take back. The line goes dead. Art stares at the ceiling for a minute, the three words he can’t say platonically to his best friend who he’s now fucking, are flitting about in his head. And Patrick wonders why he’s confused. He grabs his second pillow and pulls it over his face. He’s so fucked.

Stuck With me
-> Itoshi Sae x reader (Oneshot)
The stars shined brightly as some streetlamps lit up the dark streets. The atmosphere was quiet, you didn’t see a soul in sight. The air, however, felt lonely around you, because your boyfriend had a match today and since you felt a little sick, he didn’t let you go with him.
He was always so protective; you hated and loved it at the same time. Even if you swallowed your pride and begged him, he still wouldn’t agree. In his words, “You’d be next to a bunch of men, and what if you get worse in the middle of it? Who will you ask for help?” Maybe he was right, even if you liked being alone once in a while, this screeching feeling of loneliness destroyed your heart.
“I miss you Sae” You pouted as you leaned against the balcony bar. At this point the only one to confide in was the moon and the stars. This situation reminded you of all the times when you were still in Japan and Sae had to come here. He didn’t actually know back then that you liked him, but maybe he had a hunch. But your beautiful man doesn’t act on hunches.
The night sky grabbed its full power as the lamps turned off.  Your boyfriend still nowhere. You want to congratulate him already, he did so well, and everyone sitting on the bleachers shouted Sae’s name at the last moments. If you were there you were sure he’d have run straight to you and give you a passionate kiss that the media would hype up afterwards.
Now that you wonder, watching him on TV isn’t as fascinating as in person. If you watch him from up close your vision automatically drifts to him, but  television doesn’t really give that back. But it may occur like that to you because you hate soccer. You hate the ball. It always takes your loved one away, even your friends.
You were deep in thought and the only thing to jump you out of them was the key noises in the front door. You speed through the rooms and slide in to the door at the exact second when Sae opens it. He chuckled. “Was someone getting lonely?” you glare at him. “What exactly were you doing? The match ended two hours ago.” HE sighed and dropped his stuff down, pulling you closer. Still sulking you brought your hands to your back not reciprocating his touch. He couldn’t help but think you were being silly. “Miss don’t be mad” no reaction came from you. “Mi vida, cariño, mi amor, princesa~ don’t be like that.”
Oh, how he knew where to hit. At this you couldn’t stop blushing and even a little smile escaped your lips. “Shut it” You cough and look away. Sae smirks and shakes his head. “You look too tempting to bite you right now.” “That’s your problem, what are you? A wolf?” Sae chuckled. He pinned you to the wall. “Were you watching the match?” “No” You denied with a lie. Sae was falling for you deeper by the second, although he never would’ve thought he could still fall. “And after the match ended?” You looked at him and tilted your head.
What does he mean? After the match there are interviews, but he doesn’t like those, why would he talk about that? “I’m guessing no, come on, I’m sure it’s up on youtube or something” He almost let go when he turned back and leaned closer to you. “I didn’t forget” Sae whispered and kissed you passionately. He moved as if the world had stopped or slowed down.
Just for the two of you. “Still mad cariño?” He spoke against your lips. Your cheeks flushed again, and you grabbed his face. Your thumbs moved against his jaw, and you bit his lower lip. Your boyfriend licked it temptingly and leaned down to your neck. “Are you better now by the way?”  You mumbled a yes as you gave more access. “So why were you late?” “Because” he thought and started planting soft kisses on your neck.
“Because when I turned down an interview after my shower my manager stopped me” He kissed you again on the lips this time, slowly reaching under your shirt. “Then I was forced into one. They asked about you, so I didn’t mind answering.” “Also, if you watched the match, know, that I went for the last goal in your name. That goal, is yours, mi Vida.” As he spoke in whispers his lips travelled all around your upper body. “I don’t want that, I wanted you” “I know” he chuckled “and I am here now am I not?”
After your heavy make out session by the front door you went to the balcony and sat down on Sae’s lap. It was time to get clingy after not seeing him for a whole day. He forced you to watch the interview, so you did. He was in your hair as you watched him.
“I love her the most, no one has any business to tell us what we can or cannot do. She is mine and I plan to marry her, so stop pestering her in your gossip magazines or what the hell ever. She deserves none of that. And if I hear that she’s upset because you said something shit about her.” He looked no more like stared into the camera, or rather into the souls of the watchers. “I won’t hesitate to get back at you in her name.”
Your face was red once again. The sky wasn’t in favor of you because the moon directly lit up you two. “You are crazy, don’t do that again…” You looked away. “I wanted to, and there is not a single lie tonta.” If you could’ve gotten any redder, you would’ve but then your muscles would burst. “W-What does tonta mean?” “Dunno” he teased and turned you to face him. “Te quiero mi vida.” You lay against his chest and in a daze the only thing you were listening to, was his heartbeat. “Aren’t you going to say it back amor?” You giggle against him and shake your head.
“If I wouldn’t be head over heels for you, you’d get punished baby~” “Am I not gonna get punished now?” You smirked and looked up at him. Sae’s eyes darkened. “Cállate serás castigado por esto” “What?” “If you’ll live with me here you gotta step up your game Cariño” “But I’m lazy.. I’d rather be with you” “mmm Surely, then I’ll teach you Spanish. “ You giggled and nodded.
In one swoop he stood up and cradled you in his arms. “T-te quiero Sae” You spoke quietly. “I know, but your pronunciation needs work too.” “Idiot” You hit his chest lightly and he didn’t even budge. He smiled. “You are my beautiful thing- forever. You are stuck with me.” “Forever seems like a long while~” You giggled and reached up to him as he put you on the bed. Your fingers dangled in his hair. “You are right, does seem like a long time. Regardless, I don’t change my opinion.”

a nice surprise - l.jn
warnings: fwb, smut, nasty, fluffy, will make you feel single even if you're not, grammar mistakes
a's/n: thinking of making a part two cause this type of jeno is making me feel crazzy. also, part two?
Tumblr media
you shouldn't be really doing this, grabbing the key of his apartment jeno told you the location of in case of an emergency, but this is a real emergency and he isn't answering your texts, neither caring about the fact that you're ovulating and going crazy just at the thought of his touch. well, it's not like you have never been to his place alone, you've been here more times than you'd like to admit. but right now, you needed him like you needed oxygen. you don't think he will be angry, or will he? no, i mean, how could he say no to a horny-you in the middle of his living room?
"i guess i'll make myself comfortable." you layed on the couch and turned on the tv, played a random movie but you couldn't pay attention, you were just only thinking of jeno.
40 minutes have passed and there's still not any signs of him, not even a reply to your text you sent him three hours ago. all of a sudden, you hear the locks of the door make sounds and you prepare yourself for maybe the best, maybe the worst. who knows?
you watch the man you've been waiting for almost an hour now not notice you, he seemed stressed... maybe that's why he was not replying and just needed to be alone... did you fuck up? he dropped his backpack to the floor and took off his shoes and shirt, leaving himself with just the gray sweatpants he was wearing. three words: holy jesus fuck.
"jesus." he said, getting shocked from the fact he hadn't see you there. "what are you doing here?"
"hi, sorry, i grabbed the secret key you told me about and let myself in. i don't know, you weren't replying to my texts and i wanted to see you."
"you wanted to see me..." he asks smiling as he sits down beside you "or to fuck me?" he grabs you by the waist and sits you down on his lap.
"mmm, what is the correct answer to that right now?" you caress his hair and smile at him too. "is everything okay? i know letting myself in was weird but when you got here i noticed something was off."
"aw, you worry about me, maybe you will get some."
"oh my god, are my tactics working?" you ask, laughing.
he kisses you as he grabs your face to have the control on the kiss. it's soft and not too short.
"nothing to worry about, baby." he moves you again so both of your legs are on his sides. "i'm struggling to understand a class and i'm not having enough time to study because of my job, so yeah, it's just the normal stress of everyday."
you give him a peck on the lips and cup his face with both of your hands and you just give him a soft look, you truly did not want him to stress out, he's the smartest, hard-working boy you know out there, he deserves a 100% scholarship and everything paid, not this.
"you're really smart, though. like you make me feel really dumb sometimes when you start speaking engineer nerd lingo, it's also really hot." he giggles and you scratch his hair softly while still looking at him, you just feel his hand caress your lower back and sometimes your legs. "besides, hard work pays off and you know that. your job will let you grow on your career and well, we all need a major. just know that this stress will not last forever." you give him a kiss again and another one on his nose.
"wow, you really will say all that to get some dick." he tells you and you smack his bare chest.
"fuck you."
"yeah, you're really trying." he laughs and stops to stare at his hands touching your legs, then your butt and at the end your waist. you get startled when he pushes you towards him lightly. and he kisses you, fervently, the way you've been wanting to get kissed all day. the "problem" right now is that he has never kissed you this passionately. the way his lips move against yours is making you feel something you've never felt before, not with him nor any men you've ever been with.
"thank you, princess." he tells you. "you know i'm just joking, i do really appreciate your words and support." his eyes were shining as he looked at you. "and honestly, you being here was a nice surprise."
"it was?" you ask him as he tucked a strand of hair behind your ear and you grab his hand. he just kept staring at you, making it seem like he was admiring every single detail of your face.
"mhm." and you just stayed there, looking at each other. you were still holding his left hand that was placed on your face and gave it a little kiss. as he sees you doing that, he doesn't let go of your hand and just softly gets your hand to his mouth for him to kiss it. "kiss me, y/n."
and you do what he tells you to. you kiss him with the same passion he had just kissed you with a few seconds ago. he introduces his tongue into your mouth, playing with yours. it's getting more desperate second after second, his hands that were placed on your waist were now going down to your butt to grab it and force you to grind on him, feeling him very close as you were wearing a dress so he had easy access. one of your hands stayed on his shoulder and your other hand slowly traced a line down his abs so you can grab the hem of his sweatpants.
he kept guiding your hips with his hands and stopped kissing your mouth to move to your neck, giving wet and sloppy kisses on it as he grabbed your hair and tugged it down to give himself more space to kiss, suck and lick.
"come on, baby, keep grinding on me." jeno whispers on your ear. "you're making me feel so good, princess. look so beautiful, so pretty."
his praise was just the little help you needed to moan loudly on his ear and
"that's it, baby, do you feel me? do you feel my hard cock?"
"yes, jeno, i feel it." you moan.
"just for you, princess, only for you, always for you."
you tug jeno's hair as you moan on his ear, making him understand you had just came with the way your legs were shaking. you think you're in for a long ride tonight.

Trailer park Steve AU part 10
part 1 | part 9 | ao3
cw: recreational drinking
When they get to Eddie’s trailer, Steve’s mom is sitting on the couch, eyes unblinking as she watches the TV.
There’s just static on the screen.
“Steve?” she slurs when she finally realizes they’re there. Sways a little when she stands. There’s a dreamy quality to her voice, a blank look on her tired face: agreeable but distant, a smudge of campfire smoke curling far over the trees.
Double-dosed her pills again. Jesus Christ.
“Oh, Stevie, baby, it was just awful.” She reaches out for him, and he wishes he could find comfort in the way she cups his elbows with delicate hands. Wishes he could lean into her touch and offer comfort in return, but her tone is so dull and mild that bile rises in his throat. Chemical calm bullshit, and Steve has had enough.
“Ma, just…” he sighs, shrugging her off. Scrubs a hand over his face. Too young and too old for this. “Just go home, okay?” The street is quiet again, all the neighbors tucked back in their houses now that the show has run its course. He doesn’t think anyone will notice her stumbling across the road. “Get some rest. I’ll be over in a bit.”
“Sure, baby.” He leads her to the door, and she turns there on the threshold, eyes glassy and unfocused; looks through him like he’s a ghost. Then her gaze shifts around the room — the hats, the mugs, the clutter; the lived-in explosion of color that Steve’s annoyed he likes so much — like she’s just seeing it all for the first time, and absently, she murmurs, “This place is dreadful, isn’t it?”
“Mom.”
“Hmm?” she asks, but she’s already drifting out the door.
Steve’s face is on fire. He stands there for a moment, just staring dumbly out into the dark. What the hell is wrong with her??
Behind him, Eddie snorts. "Oh, she’s on the good shit, huh?”
Steve whips his head around. Eddie’s eyes are full of mirth, his dimple peeking out, and it startles a laugh out of Steve. He thinks maybe he’d take offense if he weren't so busy being mortified.
But also, like.
It is a little funny.
Or maybe it’s so unfunny that it circles back around.
“Jesus, man,” he huffs, “Sorry. I don’t— I don’t know why she…”
“S’fine,” Eddie says with a casual flick of his wrist. Seems like he means it. He rocks back on his heels, hands in his back pockets, just sort of eyeing Steve up. Assessing. Running his tongue over his lips. They're big, for a guy's. “…You want a beer?”
“Fuck.” That sounds so nice. “Yeah. Please.”
“Have a seat.”
Steve takes the offer when Eddie nods at the couch, too tired to do the whole song and dance of ‘oh heavens no, I couldn’t possibly impose.’ Who’s got the energy for that?
The couch is old. His skull thuds against the un-cushioned back when he sinks down into it, but he’s too tired to care. Worn out as the lumpy springs under his ass, the frayed fabric beneath his arm. A wave of exhaustion rattles his bones, reverberates in his teeth. He thinks he could sleep for sixteen years.
Eddie clears his throat when he comes back with the beers, a sudden cautiousness about him as he hands Steve an unopened can like Steve might claw him in return.
"Sit down," Steve rolls his eyes. "I'm not gonna bite."
Eddie makes a strangled noise. The springs bounce as he plops onto the seat beside Steve, sitting sideways with one leg up on the couch between them, his arm resting on the back. "So, ah...." He gives a wavering chuckle; pulls a lock of hair across his face to hide himself. "Is this the part where I formally apologize for trying to knife you?"
Ugh. No the fuck it isn't. Steve’s too drained for it, absolutely at capacity for more serious shit this evening, thanks; and besides that, it was...
Whatever. It's old news.
Instead of giving a real answer he reaches into his pocket, snicks his own knife open and pretends to brandish it at Eddie, asking, "Eye for an eye?"
Eddie's eyes go huge. "Dude, what the fuck??"
"Just fucking with you," Steve laughs, lifting the can up to his mouth. "But there; now we're even. Shoulda seen your face."
“Ah—!” Eddie’s jaw drops in offense. “Ex-cuse you!”
God, of course he’s more dramatic than all the kids combined.
Steve jabs the knife into his beer, pops the top and starts to chug, throat working as he gulps the whole thing down in four big sips. It tastes like frothy, bitter piss, but it's cold and it soothes the scratch in his throat.
Eddie lets out a low whistle. "Well, goddamn, Harrington."
"Is that supposed to impress me?" "You're not?"
Steve grins and wipes his mouth.
They get drunk pretty fast (Eddie refused to be upstaged in his own house, so one shot-gunned beer became two became four), and somewhere along the line the conversations get weird; hilarious and dumb. Saying shit just to say it, chipping away at the ice wall between them with bare fingernails.
Eddie hollers some shit like: "What are you even talking about?" and his arms fling out wide, almost spilling his beer. "The deep sea is so much scarier than the mountains!"
"Are you joking?" Steve throws back. "The mountains have, like, giant cats and shit! Birds of prey with wingspans the size of your van."
"Yeah, and the deep sea has eldritch monsters that live in volcano vents and hunt with no eyes and eat their young for fun or whatever the fuck. You ever heard of an anglerfish? Or a phantom anglerfish? Tell me that shit isn't right out of a Lovecraft story."
"A what story?"
"How am I the one who hasn’t graduated yet?"
Then later:
“Dude, Batman? Seriously?”
“He’s the world’s greatest detective!”
“He’s a greasy little weirdo. You only like him because of your whole…” Steve gestures at his tattoos.
“Whatever, Spiderfan.”
And later still:
"Okay, okay, okay. Fuck, marry, kill... Shit. Y’know this would really be easier in a town where so many people hadn’t died."
Steve grimaces at himself; expects Eddie to call him out. It’s too insensitive, too soon.
Eddie just cracks a grin and suggests, "Fuck, marry, revive?"
They talk for a long time. Eddie's kind of charming when he's not being a dick. A nice smile, deep laugh lines. Steve can almost see why the kids are so obsessed with him. He's never met someone so animated; feels like he's talking to a Saturday morning cartoon. The conversation mellows out after a while, and he doesn't realize he's dozed off until Eddie shakes him awake.
"Hey, man," he says, voice just above a whisper. "I'm going to bed. You're welcome to crash on the couch, but, uh,” he scratches the back of his neck, “I mean, your back is probably gonna hate you for it."
Steve rubs his fists against his eyelids and blinks himself awake. Feels jittery and weird, yanked out of the start of a bad dream. When he looks up he sees that he’s got his shoes up on the couch; and there’s dried drool on his chin, and all at once he feels embarrassed, off-balance and panicked like he missed the last step down a steep flight of stairs. Of course he's overstayed his welcome. He's being fucking rude. "My bad," he mutters as he jumps up off the couch. Stands up way too fast, makes his vision tilt and swirl. "I'll get out of your hair."
Eddie reaches for his arm. "Dude,” he says, “you're fine. You can stay if you want.”
Steve moves out of his hold. “Nah, get some sleep; I’ll see ya around.”
Eddie frowns at him, a little furrow between his brows, and somehow Steve feels like he’s in the wrong, like Eddie isn’t the one who just kicked him out.
Like maybe Steve’s just running away for a second time in one night. Always back and away, this guy.
Who's the fucking coward now?

winter in new york had come early this year. this had not been a problem for you, as you thrived in the cold. most of the clothes that you owned were sweaters.
also, as of late your rent had gone up and you couldn’t afford to pay it. so, your best friend peter offered to let you move in and you could split his rent. after some back and forth, and peter assuring you it’d be no big deal, you moved in.
there were two issues, and one that you had not been informed of. peter’s apartment complex had a habit of the heat going out, and the landlord seemed to not care when anyone would complain about it.
the other problem was that you possibly, maybe, perhaps, most likely, had a crush on peter. something about his soft voice and his gentle hands enthralled you. or perhaps it was his penchant for justice and standing up for what he believed in. either way, the butterflies that ravaged your stomach when he entered a room only grew in size when you moved in.
luckily, regarding problem number 1, you were set. a tee shirt plus a sweater or two and you were good to go. somewhere in your boxes was your heated blanket, but presently you couldn’t find it in you to loot around in your things just yet.
currently, you were wearing two sweaters and sitting underneath one of peter’s throw blankets on the couch, watching tv. out of the corner of your eye you saw peter exit his room and enter the living room.
the first thing that you noticed was how bare he was considering the current circumstances. the heat had gone out in the apartment again, and there was a storm coming in. just your luck, however, talking to or messaging the landlord was fruitless as he never responded over weekends.
seeing as all you had was a tiny space heater, peter not stocking up and drowning himself in a sweater or two was weird. when he sat down you gave him a weird look. “aren’t you cold?” you asked.
peter immediately shook his head, a little too enthusiastically. “do you want some blanket?” you followed up. this time he paused, and then nodded affirmatively. you held up the side of the blanket and he scooted closer to you. it seemed as if the hum of the television went silent as he curled into you.
peter’s chin rested on top of your shoulder and the rest of his body pressed up against and into your side. every now and then he would nestle in closer, almost like a dog or a cat settling in for the night.
then you felt it: shivering. despite staring your body heat and a blanket, peter began to shiver. “do you want to go get a sweater or a hoodie or something? you’re practically vibrating, pete,” you said. your voice was lowered as he was so close to you.
peter nodded before answering, “yeah,” he paused. “but all mine are dirty right now.” you turned your head to look at him, quirking an eyebrow.
“you don’t have any?”
at your question, he shook his head “no.” you had unpacked most of your wardrobe. he could definitely wear one of yours. “do you want to wear one of mine?”
his head turned to look at you. his soft brown eyes looked almost pleading. “yes,” he said curtly. following his answer, you stood to go and grab one from your room. just as you were placing the blanket back down to cover peter, he stopped you.
“no, i want that one,” he said, pointing at the outwardmost purple sweater that you were wearing. huh? your face scrunched up in confusion. why would he want this one? “it’ll be warm already cause you’ve been wearing it.” his voice dropped a couple decibels and his eyes darted away a few times.
you slid the sweater off and became aware that your layers had risen slightly to show the expanse of your belly. quickly, you jerked your shirt and the remaining sweater back down. you handed the purple knit sweater over to peter.
you were aware of your size, and that in some places you were bigger than peter. sometimes you were more aware of it than others. needless to say, your sweater should have no problem fitting him.
when he put it on, he looked so very snug. he pulled the sleeves of the sweater over his hands and the neckline up to his chin. oddly enough, peter’s cozy appearance made you feel almost territorial. there he was, your best friend, wearing your clothes. perhaps you’d have to find a way to get him to do this again; but maybe that was just being selfish.
it hit you that you were staring him down when his hand wrapped itself around your wrist and tugged you back towards him on the couch. this time he pulled the blanket up to allow you to crawl underneath it. as quickly as he could, he burrowed in close to you just as he had before.
sure, the lack of your second sweater made the chill a little more obvious, but frankly, you couldn’t really feel it. a flustered heat rose to your cheeks and encompassed your body.
you tried with all your might to go back to watching the show that was playing, but you couldn’t focus. after all, your best friend (who you weren’t really sure how you felt about) was huddled up close to you, while wearing your clothes. needless to say, you were beyond distracted.
peter’s breath brushed against your face, and you could smell the fresh scent of the cologne or aftershave he had on.
after an agonizing thirty-ish minutes, peter spoke. “i think it’s time for bed,” he mumbled.
you hummed in affirmation, trying to find the strength to speak without your voice breaking. “yeah,” was all you managed to get out. the two of you stayed sitting for a couple more moments before you stood up. your back was stiff and your cheeks were still hot. you briefly turned to wave at him, and gave a strangled, “good night, peter.”
“wait!” he called. you stopped mid-step to look back at him. he was standing, both hands held out. “it’s going to be a cold night,” he stated. you nodded. duh. “you’re going to get really cold,” he continued. you weren’t really sure if you were the one to be worried about, to be honest.
peter took two steps toward you. “i’m not sure you should really be worried about that,” you vocalized. “seeing as you needed my sweater just now.”
“yes!” his voice was slightly louder. “i’m going to get really cold.” your eyebrows scrunched, unsure of what he was getting at. “that’s why i think you should sleep in my room tonight. to, uh-” he swallowed and his adam’s apple bobbed. “to share body heat.”
at this moment you could hear your heart in your ears. your mouth was slightly agape, but you closed it quickly. all you could do was nod and let peter lead you to his room.
you were familiar with his room and all the trinkets that he had inside of it. peter pulled back the sheets and duvet on one side before walking around to the other side and getting in. as casually as possible you got in too. this was perfectly normal! best friends totally did stuff like this all the time. this was no big deal.
before you could even get a grip on what your racing mind was thinking, peter was right next to you, scooting in again. you took a deep breath and decided that if you were going to share a bed with him, you might as well do it on your own terms. nerves, or not.
you mimicked his action and inched in towards him, and curled an arm around his waist. he followed, and pulled your body in to his. you could hear his steady heartbeat from the angle you were at.
then, you saw from over his shoulder a drawer that sat opened just a little. what was in it made your smitten heart beat a little harder with infatuation. in the drawer sat peter’s own collection of sweaters. there they sat, and they were clean.

michael myers x reader? like they’re together and they just live together lol. id love to know what your take on just living with michael is
through the mask
Tumblr media
WARNING: None
PAIRING: Michael Myers x Reader
NOTE: Hi!! This idea immediately got my brain going, so thank you! Hope you enjoy, and sending you all the love in the world! Take care of yourself <333
SUMMARY: In a quiet moment at home, you and Michael Myers share an evening together that’s both unsettling and strangely tender.
Tumblr media
There was something oddly calming about having Michael Myers in your living room.
Sure, most people would have screamed or fainted or bolted out of the nearest window if they saw him standing in their house. The Shape. The Boogeyman. The man who sent babysitters running for their lives and whose mask still haunted countless urban legends.
But for you? This was just… Thursday.
Michael sat on the couch in his usual blue coveralls, mask in place, and his massive frame somehow managing to look both relaxed and entirely alert. He had his nasty, dirty boots on the carpet—something you’d scolded him for a hundred times but had long since given up on.
“Y’know,” you said, standing in the doorway with a mug of tea in hand, “it wouldn’t kill you to try a hobby that doesn’t involve blades. Maybe knitting? Painting?”
Michael didn’t respond. Not that you expected him to. He just turned his head slightly in your direction, the empty black eyes of his mask fixing on you.
“Right,” you muttered, taking a sip of your tea. “Why paint when you can just… silently judge me? Very on-brand.”
You could’ve sworn his shoulders twitched.
Living with Michael was… an experience.
It was quiet. Uneasy, yes, but oddly mundane at times. The tension always lingered in the air, but you’d learned to live with it, much like someone might live with a perpetually creaky floorboard or a neighbor who mowed their lawn at 6 a.m.
Except, instead of a floorboard or an annoying neighbor, it was Michael.
Your relationship wasn’t normal by any stretch of the imagination. You weren’t even sure how it had started, exactly. One day, he just… didn’t kill you. And then he came back. Again and again, until eventually, you just sort of… accepted his presence.
And somewhere along the way, things shifted. He started staying longer. Watching TV. Sitting at your kitchen table while you cooked dinner.
The fact that you weren’t dead yet still baffled you sometimes. But here you were, alive and kicking, sharing your house with the literal embodiment of fear.
You plopped down on the other end of the couch, careful to leave some space between you and Michael. Not that you thought he’d mind if you sat closer, but you’d learned early on that he valued his personal space.
“What are you watching?” you asked, glancing at the TV.
The screen was paused on some old horror movie, one of those cheesy slasher flicks where the killer was about as subtle as a neon sign.
“Really?” you said, raising an eyebrow. “You’re watching that? Isn’t that, like, a little too meta?”
Michael didn’t answer. He just leaned forward and unpaused the movie.
You sighed, settling back into the cushions. “You’re impossible, you know that?”
The movie played on, the room quiet except for the occasional scream from the TV. Michael stayed still for most of it, but every now and then, you’d catch him tilting his head slightly, like he was analyzing the killer’s methods.
“You’re judging them, aren’t you?” you said, smirking.
He didn’t move.
“You think you could do better.”
Still no response.
“You know you could do better,” you added with a laugh.
At that, he turned his head toward you, the blank eyes of his mask locking onto yours. The silence stretched, thick and heavy, until finally, he reached over and tapped his knife against the arm of the couch. Once. Twice.
“Point taken,” you said, holding up your hands in mock surrender. “You’re the expert.”
As the credits rolled, you stretched and got up, heading toward the kitchen. “Want anything?” you called over your shoulder.
Silence.
Right. Dumb question.
You grabbed a bag of chips and wandered back into the living room to find Michael still sitting there, his knife resting on the coffee table now. He looked… calmer, somehow. Less like a predator waiting to pounce and more like someone who’d just finished a long day at work.
“Hey,” you said softly, sitting back down beside him. “You okay?”
He didn’t move for a moment, but then he turned his head ever so slightly, just enough to let you know he’d heard you.
“You don’t have to say anything,” you said, your voice barely above a whisper. “I just… I hope you’re… happy.. here. With me.”
You weren’t sure if he understood—Michael was an enigma, a puzzle you’d long since stopped trying to solve. But for a moment, you thought you saw his shoulders relax, just the tiniest bit.
And then, in a move that shocked you more than anything else he’d ever done, he reached out and placed a hand on your knee.
It was brief—barely a second before he pulled back—but it was enough to send your heart racing.
You smiled, warmth blooming in your chest despite the ever-present fear that came with loving someone like him.
“Yeah,” you said softly, leaning back against the couch. “Me too.”

PART TWO | MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
There was a slight chance of snowfall today, it made you happy to know you wouldn’t have to return back to work for another day. Able to enjoy the chilly weather inside, cuddled up against Nam-gyu on his couch.
Your fingers mindlessly playing with one of his blankets thrown over the both of you. Listening to him and Su-bong playfully argue over what couple was going to last throughout the entire show.
“But they’re so annoying…” Your boyfriend commented, pointing at the screen a little as the two coupled contestants talked to each other on screen.
Nam-gyu groaned, running a hand over his face as Su-bong paused the show for what seemed like the fifth time. He stood up from his chair, putting his finger right over the female contestants face, a small smirk on his lips.
“You see that?” Su-bong said, pointing back and forth between the two people on screen.
“What are we looking at, dumbass?” Nam-gyu rolled his eyes, throwing his arm back over your shoulder as you leaned into him a little more. His fingers squeezed your bicep softly.
“Passion.” Su-bong whispered, “Look at the way she’s looking at him, she wants him sooo bad, bro.”
“They barely know each other!”
Days like these quickly became your favorite over the last eight months. Peaceful nights spent in the comfort of Nam-gyu and Su-bong’s apartment.
At first you worried that you were invading their personal space.
In the beginning it was clear that you were still not used to being with someone like this after your last, less than savory, relationship.
But Nam-gyu has been so sweet to you throughout your relationship, passionate words whispered in the darkness of his bedroom, leaving gentle kisses pressed on your knuckles before pulling you closer.
“What do you think?” Su-bong asked, directing his eyes to you, “Don’t they just seem so passionately in love to you?” He threads his fingers together in front of his chest, patiently awaiting your answer.
You laughed, “Honestly? No-”
“Wrong!” Su-bong interrupted, raising his hand, “You guys are so blind, come on!”
Nam-gyu and you laughed at Su-bong’s dramatics.
“You guys are useless. And that’s the truth.” The man standing in front of the tv ran a hand through his blue hair, letting out an exaggerated sigh before shaking his head.
Nam-gyu’s hand slipped from your bicep to your back, blunt nails scratching softly against your shirt. His head leaned against the back of the couch, listening to his friend continue to ramble on some more, occasionally unpausing the show to further attempt to prove his point.
“Dude… Just sit your ass down and watch the show already.” Nam-gyu sighed finally.
You softly push against his chest, “Hey he’s just really passionate about his reality tv couples.”
“Yeah, fuck you Nam-gyu.” Su-bong flipped him the bird playfully, earning one back from your boyfriend.
“Fuck you too Thanos.” Nam-gyu teased.
~~~
Nam-gyu bites his lip softly, smoothing over the weighted blanket before glancing over at his door. He felt so cold, his hands shaking a little from the bite of chilly air.
Maybe I smoked a little bit too much... He thought to himself
He brought his shaky hands up to tuck his hair behind his ears, moving to take his socks off.
Arms wound themselves around Nam-gyu’s waist, making him let out a little sigh. One hand securing itself on your forearm. A warmth spread through Nam-gyu’s chest, a small smile playing at the corners of his lips. This truly had to be a dream.
He turned around slowly, hands finding their way to your cheeks, thumbs softly brushing against your skin, watching you blink up at him. He was sure that if it was possible he would have hearts in his eyes.
He was so hopelessly, and pathetically in love. This is real passion… Nam-gyu thought to himself.
Never in his life did Nam-gyu think he would feel such a way about someone. In the past his feelings were always so fleeting, leaving him within weeks, the stress of relationships straining his patience.
He was honestly scared to make things official at first, scared that things would end up being the same.
But after getting to know you as deeply as he has, he couldn’t see himself wanting to be with anyone else.
“I love you so much.” He whispered so softly, his eyes taking in every part of your face as he held you close.
Your fingers tightened around the waist of his hoodie, a small tearful smile coming to your lips.
“God, you’re gonna make me cry.” You laugh, bringing a hand to rub away a stray tear.
Nam-gyu knew all about your past relationship, the hardships you went through. It was a difficult time in your life, and you found it so hard to put yourself back out there afterwards. Sinking back into the shadows, hoping nobody looked twice in your direction.
You had been utterly terrified to get into another relationship when Nam-gyu proposed the idea. Simply asking for a date, a night together at some semi-fancy restaurant. He could feel how hard your hands shook when you grasped onto his that night, a nervous sweat forming on your palms which you quickly apologized for.
Selfishly, Nam-gyu was happy that you were just as scared as him.
Maybe it wasn’t for the same reason, but diving into something like this shook the man to his core. Terrified that at any second his happiness could be ripped from under him. Terrified that you would somehow find out about the horrible things he’s done.
But every time he looked into your beautiful eyes, those thoughts melted away. You made him forget how suffocating his life was.
His fingers smoothed away the teary trails, a smile spreading across his face.
“You’re just so beautiful too.” He continued, laughing softly at the small sob that fell from your lips, “So perfect…”
“Nam-gyu…” You whispered quietly, a small laugh coming from you as well, “Shut up.”
He cupped his hands back around your jaw, bringing you in for a soft kiss. He wasn’t bothered by the occasional tear that would slide against his skin.
Instead he brought you closer, pouring all of his unsaid words into you. One hand fell to your waist, pressing you flush against his body.
Both of your hands found their way to his hair, pulling him impossibly closer as your lips slotted together so perfectly. Soft sighs leaving the both of you.
Nam-gyu felt like he could kiss you for the rest of his life, your lips were so soft, teeth biting against his bottom lip forcing a small moan from his mouth.
You were going to be the death of him, he knew it.
His hand tightened itself on your waist, brows drawing together as he felt his whole body begin to heat up under your touch. He disconnected your lips, trailing kisses from your cheek to your jaw, nipping every now and then as he got closer to your neck.
You tilted your head back a little, allowing him better access as he left open mouthed kisses against your warm skin. His thumb caressed your throat gently as he bit down a little harder near your the collar of your shirt, forcing a small whimper from your parted lips.
“Nam-gyu…” You sighed out his name, making his heart flutter in his chest.
He lifted his head, staring at you with lidded eyes and a small smirk playing at the corner of his lips, “So… you sure you still want to go to sleep?” He teased, thumb trailing along your bottom lip.
“Get on the bed already, dick.”
~~~
“Morning, lovebirds.” Su-bong winked as he made his way into the kitchen, going up to the fridge and grabbing the carton of orange juice.
You looked up from your phone, readjusting your feet under Nam-gyu’s thigh. The both of you were sitting next to each other at the small dining table, enjoying the snowy morning together, quietly scrolling through your phones.
“Morning.” Nam-gyu yawned, bringing another spoonful of cereal into his mouth absentmindedly.
Su-bong turned around, looking up from his cup of orange juice, “So what’s going on to- Holy fuck!” He cut himself off.
He rushed over to his friend, forcing Nam-gyu’s head to the side, and jabbing a finger into one of the prominent bruises you left just above his collarbone by accident. Oops… you thought to yourself, laughing a little.
“Was she trying to suck the life out of you, bro?” Su-bong looked between the two of you with wide eyes.
Nam-gyu slapped his hand away, a small chuckle coming from him. “That’s nothing, you should see the one I left on her-” You slapped his shoulder, making him laugh harder.
“You guys are nasty as fuck.” Su-bong scolded, shaking his head in disappointment.
You knew better than to take his jabs seriously. Su-bong brought home a new girl every other week, if not more.
Sometimes you were unfortunate enough to be in the apartment when those moments would occur. Making it so you and Nam-gyu have to turn the volume to his TV up a lot louder than you liked. Just so you could drown out the god awful sounds that float through the horribly thin walls of his apartment.
“Oh please, like you can say anything.” Nam-gyu rolled his eyes, “You’re like a fucking horny dog sometimes.”
“What can I say? I can’t keep the girls off of me, man.” Su-bong plopped himself down in the seat across from Nam-gyu. “Anyway, what I was going to say… What’s going on today?”

Movie Star ~ Sturniolo Triplets
Tumblr media
Summary: You have a movie night with Nick, Matt and Chris. You all decide to watch a horror, one the guys didn't know you acted in when you were younger.
Warnings: swearing, horror movie stuff, platonic pet names
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You finally had a free weekend so you planned on spending time with your three best friends. You along with the triplets had grown up together and whilst they went on and had their YouTube career, you were an actress. You had started acting at an early age, having a few small roles before you got into some bigger movies and TV shows.
You had arrived at their house, planning on sleeping over and stuff too. When you walked in, you saw Nick and Matt in the kitchen, whilst Chris was on the sofa scrolling through the TV.
"Hey guys." You called, kicking your shoes off.
"Hey kid!" Chris replied first, jumping up to greet you.
Nick and Matt both waved and you saw they had made bowls of popcorn and there was some drinks too.
"Movie night?" You questioned.
"Yeah." Matt replied simply.
You nodded and went to sit down with Chris, who showed you some videos on his phone, as Nick and Matt came over with the drinks and popcorn.
"Did you find one?" Nick asked as he sat next to you.
"Oh yeah. It's an old horror, not like really old, but maybe ten years old or something." Chris answered.
"Any horror is fine with me." Matt said, settling down.
You smiled to yourself once you saw the title. The movie was one of your first acting roles. The guys didn’t know that your character was going to be killed.
You all sat quietly watching the movie, the guys jumping slightly as Nick screamed. You then smiled as your character came on, which made Matt pause the movie.
“That’s you!” He shouted.
“Yeah that’s me at ten years old.” You said with a giggle.
“The fuck kid! You never said you were in this movie!” Chris shouted.
“You didn’t ask. Plus it’s kinda old and one of my first acting roles.” You replied.
“Let’s watch it!” Nick called.
You laughed as Matt continued the movie. You watched their faces knowing the killer of the scene was about to kill your character.
“Run tiny Y/N!” Nick shouted at the screen making you laugh.
Chris shouted as your character was killed, blood all over the place, Matt jumped slightly as Nick hid his face in a pillow.
You all continued watching the movie till the end, the guys still not over the fact you were in it and your character was killed early on in the movie.
“That was…” Matt started.
“Insane!” Nick finished.
“Yeah, I’m just glad it was a movie and not real. That was brutal.” Chris added.
You giggled as they all suddenly hugged you. You hugged them back smiling but felt confused.
“What’s that for?” You asked.
“Your safe with us. Next movie your in is not a horror. Don’t make us see you in that situation again.” Matt answered.
“Okay.” You said with a laugh.
“I need to watch a Disney movie now to get that out my head.” Chris said making all of you burst out laughing.
