Ok I have fluff angst ideaā¦Charlie is pregnant and freaking out about telling Joel because she is kinda young. And Joel is mad, scared, excited , crying and also grandpa Joel?!
Hello why did this make me tear up
April, Come She Will
Pairing: Joel Miller x fem!reader
Authorās note: itās canon to me that reader and Joel live to be 100 and nothing bad ever happens to them ever again
Summary: The next generation of Millers find their way [3.6k]
Warnings: teen pregnancy (whatās new for this series lmao), arguing, language, call backs
Charlie's been acting weird for the past few weeks. She's been coming in and out of the house at strange times, not showing up for patrol, and giving you vague answers about where she's been. She's nineteen now, so she doesn't necessarily need you and Joel breathing down her neck all the time, but you still like to know where your kid is. She tells you she's been with Ellie or her boyfriend, Eric, which is fine. You like Eric. You just wish she would spend a little more time at home.Ā
Charlie and Eric met on patrol. No matter how much you tried to dissuade her from joining the patrol team, she wouldn't listen. She had watched you guys go out and defend Jackson as she grew up and even talked to Ellie about her adventures outside the walls. She knew how to ride a horse, and Joel taught her how to handle a gun. The intention was never to "train" her for patrol but to be prepared in a worst-case situation where she needed to protect herself but the second she was old enough, she signed up. She got paired with Eric, a sweet boy her age she went to school with, for her first patrol, and that was it. They've been together ever since.Ā
Joel was hesitant when they started dating, but you reminded him she was an adult and could make her own decisions. Eric was somehow more hesitant when Charlie invited him over for a family dinner. Eric grew up hearing stories about your family, and his dad occasionally worked patrol with Joel, but knowing him by proxy is much different than sitting across from him at the dinner table. Joel promised to be on his best behavior, but poor Eric was terrified any time Joel asked him a question. Since then, they've gotten a little closer, but they are by no means buddies. You're a little nicer.
All this runs through your head when Eric trails behind Charlie into the house. It's a Saturday, and you and Joel are off patrol, sitting next to each other on the couch. You were supposed to go see Ellie and Dina, but they rescheduled for next weekend without much explanation as to why. JJ might've gotten in trouble. At seventeen, he has more of Ellie's wild personality than anything else. It's a little fun to watch her try to handle a younger version of herself.Ā
"Hey, can we talk?" Charlie asks, a slight tremble in her voice. You look up from your book, and Joel leans forward to drop his wood carving knife on the coffee table. She and Eric sit across from you, her leg bouncing anxiously when she does, and you glance between them. You're a little confused as to why Eric has to be here for this, but she's clinging to his hand so hard you almost worry she's gonna break it. Worry claws at the back of your throat, but you swallow it down. Whatever it is, you can handle it.
"Sure, bug," you say. "What's up?"Ā
"Um, so there's something I've been meaning to tell you, but I wanted to get some things squared away before I did because I didn't want you guys to freak out or anything. I understand this is a really big deal, but it's under control, and we have a plan." She explains rapidly, and Joel chuckles as he removes his glasses to rub at his eye.
"You ain't pregnant, are you?" He asks, and Charlie is silent. That's when you feel your heart drop to the pit of your stomach. Your mouth goes dry, and you sit up, staring at her like you're waiting for her to say she's joking. "Charlotte," Joel says, his tone even and scarily calm. "You'reĀ not.Ā Right?"
"I'm sorry, Daddy," she says, tears shining in her eyes. "But weā¦ we have a plan. We're gonna get set up in a house, and Ellie's gonna lend us some of JJ's old things, and we're gonna pick up some more shifts before the baby comes. It's all gonna be okay."
You can't help but feel like you set her up for failure, not only with your own teen pregnancy but with your inability to keep her safe. In the old days, you might've been able to put her on birth control or give her condoms when she started dating, but those things aren't on the top of the list for what little FEDRA manufacturing is left. The best "safe sex" talk you could have with her is letting her know her options if she did get pregnant or sick. You hated it, but there wasn't much else you could do. And now look where you are.Ā
"Mom, can you please say something?" Charlie begs as Eric rubs her back. You thought you'd be prepared for something like this with your and Joel's (and Ellie's) family life starting earlier than most. Instead, you find yourself, possibly for the first time ever, sympathizing with your mother. You pull yourself together enough to open your mouth.Ā
"You wanna have this baby?" You ask, and she nods.Ā
"We already decided. We're not gonna get married or anything yet, but yeah, we want this baby," she says. Eric doesn't say anything. You figure that's probably smart. It's only a matter of time before Joel freaks the fuck out about the fact thatĀ heĀ got your baby girl pregnant. "That's why I went to Ellie's the other day. I was talking to her, Aunt Dina, and Uncle Jesse about when they had Jay." She says. You try not to be offended that she told Ellie before she told you. You told lots of people before you told your mom you were pregnant. Still, you thought you and Charlie were closer than you and your mom were.Ā
You look at Joel, the same panic and anger taking over his features, and take a deep breath. He grinds his teeth as he thinks, and you have to stop yourself from scolding him. When you look back at Charlie, her face is splotchy, and her brown eyes sparkle in the mid-afternoon light. She looks so grown up but so little at the same time. Your eyes slide from hers to Eric's wide ones.
"I'm assuming you know the stories about Jane and her dad?" You ask.
"Yes, ma'am." He croaks, and you nod.
"And I'm assuming you know how Joel and I got to Jackson in the first place?"Ā
"Mom," Charlie starts, but you catch Joel shaking his head at her in your peripheral vision. Eric swallows thickly and nods.
"Yes, ma'am."Ā
"Good," you say. "If I ever hear anything about you not being there for Charlie or that baby, or if you even think about leaving them, I'll fucking kill you." You haven't had to speak this way in years, and it, obviously, rattles both Charlie and Eric. Good. You hope it does rattle him.Ā
"Mom!" Charlie scolds, looking to Joel for help, but it's clear that he has your back with this one. You'll be damned if she ends up a single parent like you two were. She scoffs and stands, pulling Eric up with her. "You don't have to listen to this, Eric."
"Yes, he does." You say.
"Baby, what did you think we were gonna say?" Joel asks.Ā
"That you'd support my decision or, at least, find a way to!"Ā
"Of course, we support you. I just..." Joel trails off. "I just don't think you know what this means. How much this is gonna change your life. And I know you love each other, but havin' a baby ain't an easy thing."
"That's why we're doing it together," she says, her eyes moving from Joel's to yours. "That's why it's fucking crazy to talk to him like that. And unfair. You didn't act this way when Ellie had JJ."Ā
"That's because we didn't need to have this same talk with them. Jesse and Dina had already decided to co-parent Jay. There was no way Dina was gonna be a single mom," you say. "But there were three of them, and it was still hard. You were just a baby when he was born, so you don't remember, but it was a lot."
"So, you don't think I can be a mom?" She asks, and you stand with your hands up in defeat.
"I didn't say that. I just want you to be prepared. I remember what it was like, and I-"
"Just because you were miserable when you had Jane doesn't mean everyone is." It's mean and calculated and hits you right where it hurts. It doesn't matter if it's the hormones or not. The sting of her words renders you silent.Ā
"Don't you speak to your mother that way!" Joel yells. He never yells anymore, especially at Charlie. The scary boom in his voice fills the room, but you catch the glint of tears in his eyes as his breathing stutters. "This ain't just playin' house, Charlie. So, if your mama is a little worried, she's allowed to be. Shit, we're all allowed to lose our fuckin' minds for a minute, but that isn't an excuse to talk bout your family like that." He says, and she taps her shoe on the ground twice, a nervous tick she picked up from Joel.
"I'm sorry, Mom, but I can't just sit here and listen to you threaten Eric like that," she says. You nod but don't apologize. You can't find anything to say. Charlie stares at you like she's waiting for you to lash out or yell at her, but you can't. She wipes a stray tear away furiously and turns away. "I need some air," she mumbles, dragging Eric out of the house before you can even protest. The door slams behind her, and the floorboards she took her first steps on shake with the force. Joel reaches for your hand and pulls you into him. He murmurs soft assurances into your hair, his voice cracking and tears spilling from his eyes as he does, and all you can do is let him hold you.Ā
What the fuck else are you supposed to do?
You wake up in the middle of the night to the sound of the bathroom door in the hall slamming open. You and Joel jolt upright in bed at the sudden sound (old habits die hard, right?), and you sigh as you rub your eyes. You check the alarm clock next to your bed for the time and see it's close to three. The dark mountain town is still asleep outside your window, and you grab a soft flannel from the floor to pull over your shoulders.Ā
You don't remember falling asleep. You were up, waiting for Charlie to come home so you could talk further, but when the front door opened and closed, and she basically sprinted to her room, you couldn't find the energy for another fight. But when you laid down, you couldn't sleep either, your conversation from earlier playing on a loop in your mind. You and Joel just sat there in silence, staring up at the ceiling until your eyelids got too heavy, and you fell into a dreamless sleep. You couldn't have been asleep for over an hour or two when the bathroom door swung open. Joel looks at you, confused when you stand.
"What are you doin'?" He asks, and you wave him off.
"I know why she's up. Just go back to bed." You say without much explanation before padding down the hallway and into the bathroom.
Your footsteps are loud enough on the tile for her to hear you, so she doesn't flinch when you suddenly pull her hair away from her face and hold it out of the way. She glances at you and softens a little before retching into the toilet again. She does that for another minute or two before her stomach is finally empty, and you can safely let go of her hair. She sighs and leans against the wall as you flush the toilet and hand her a towel. You settle across from her, your back pressed against the sink, and rub her leg as she wipes her face.Ā
"Thanks," she mumbles as she tips her head back against the wall. She looks tired and weak. All you want to do is scoop her up in your arms like she's three years old again. "I feel like shit."
"I'm sorry. That's my genetics. I was super sick with you and Jane." Her name rolls off your tongue so fast you almost forget the last time it was invoked. The air stiffens between you, and she shifts uncomfortably.Ā
"How long were you sick for?" She asks softly. You sigh as you track your memory back and try to remember the exact details.Ā Ā
"About six months," you admit, and she groans. You laugh a little at her reaction, but only because you know how frustrating it is. If you could take it from her, you would. When you settle, she stares at you guiltily and starts picking at the nail bed around her thumb like she can't stand the silence. "Where did you guys go?" you ask to put her out of her misery.
"I justā¦ needed to get out of the house. We walked around town for a while before going to his parent's house," she says. "They still don't know. We wanted to tell y'all first." You nod, unable to give words to your gratitude just yet, and she swallows thickly.Ā Ā
"You could've stayed," you whisper. "I wanted you to stay."
"I know," she says. "I'm sorry. For everything." She looks like she could start crying again, so you take a deep breath, scoot over to her, wrap her in your arms, and kiss her temple. You feel her relax into you, and a weight is lifted off your shoulders.
"You know your dad and I worry about you. It's not about you not being capable or not smart enough because you are plenty capable and smart. But we also know that it doesn't matter how prepared you think you are. There's nothing that can prepare you for being a parent, and that's not me trying to scare you. It's just how it is." You explain, and she nods into your neck.Ā
"That's what Ellie said, too." She says.Ā
"Smart kid."Ā
"I feel like I fucked up," she pivots dramatically, but you hold on tightly and wait for her to continue.Ā I'm right here with you, baby girl,Ā you think. "I want to be happy because Eric seems happy, and you're supposed to be happy when you find out you're pregnant, but I'm so fucking scared." She sounds like she's on the brink of tears again, and you shush her. She sighs heavily and wipes at her face as she leans back enough to see you. "Were you scared when you found out you were pregnant?"
"Both times, I was fucking terrified. With you, it came later, though. Even though your dad and I talked about having another kid and how amazing you'd end up being, I remember going into labor and shaking cause of how scared I was." You say, and she nods.Ā
"How did you... know you were supposed to be a mom? She asks. It's a loaded question. How does anyone ever know they're "supposed" to be a parent? You certainly didn't think you were meant for anything that important at sixteen, but you do remember why you made the decision you did.Ā
"I, umā¦" you trail off, laughing. "I started having these dreams after I found out I was pregnant."
"Dreams?"Ā
"It was pretty much the same thing over and over again for a few months. I would be going through my regular routine, but thisā¦ baby was following me around. I couldn't tell if it was a boy or a girl, but I knew it was my baby. And it came with me to school, the grocery store, work, everything, and as time passed in my dream, the bigger the baby got. They'd get more personality or start laughing, or their eyes would change colors, and I'd be so in love with them," You know you sound crazy, but that's because it was crazy. "The first few times, I woke up crying because the baby from my dreams wasn't there. I thought there was nothing worse than waking up in the morning and not having my kid there," you say. The weight of your words catches up with you, and you have to bite your bottom lip to keep from crying. "And I was right." You shake your head and take a deep breath, hyper-aware of her eyes on you.
"I had the same dreams when I got pregnant with you, except they were a little different. In all of them, you were always with Ellie and Dadā every single time. I thought you were gonna grow up and not like me as much or whatever other reason my hormones gave me for the change, but, towards the end, you started showing up alone. You were just this little light. I can't describe it exactly, but everything I did in the dream was a little more magical because you were there. Things were shiny or glittery, and you would just giggle and giggle and giggle," you say, smiling at the memory. You grab her hand and squeeze hard, looking directly into her eyes and fighting more tears. "You turned my world technicolor even before you were born, and I knew I would always do everything I could to protect you. That's why I was so hard on Eric. I know he's a good kid and nothing like Jane's dad was, but I don't want you to end up like me, kid." Charlie squeezes your hand, somehow harder than you squeeze her, and a familiar crease appears between her eyebrows.
"Mommy, if I'm half the woman you are, I'd be so fucking happy. Are you kidding me?" She says.Ā
"Charlotte-"Ā
"I'm serious," she cuts you off, Joel's commanding yet gentle tone seeping into her voice. "Mom, you made my lunch until I was in high school, and even when I asked you to stop, you still had one ready to go just in case I needed it. You used to take JJ and me to the park so Ellie and Aunt Dina could get some sleep, even though everyone knew that meant you didn't get any. You convinced Dad to talk to Eric because you knew I loved him and wanted him to like him..." She slows down a little bit, scanning your face before she continues. "You kept a kid alive during the Outbreak despite everything. You still buy her flowers on her birthday. You tell me about her. You let me know her," you take a shaky breath, and you can't stop the tears anymore. "You're a good mom, and I'm so lucky to have you, and I'm sorry for what I said and for getting pregnant and-"Ā
This time, you stop her by hugging her tight and letting yourself cry. She gets emotional, too, and a very unlucky Joel finds the two of you crying on the bathroom floor in the middle of the night. Like everything, he takes it in stride and joins you two on the floor until the sun breaches over the mountains and a new day shines down.Ā
It's hard to say things got easier after that day. Eric's parents didn't react very positively at first, and it took them most of her pregnancy to come around. Charlie goes through weeks of sickness and bed rest. They argue a lot about the future and what it should look like, but they get there in the end. The next year, the house is filled with a familiar chatter and chaos. Charlie and Eric's twins (which explains why she felt so bad), Elliot "Ellie" Beth, and April Theresa Miller-Donovan, squeal as Joel takes turns dancing with them in the living room.
Elliot is, obviously, named in honor of your Ellie, but she bears Sarah's middle name. April threw you for a loop. The twins were born in snowy January, confusing you as to why they would name her that and not January, but Charlie smiled as she handed April to you. "Jane's birthday is April 7th. I didn't want to steal your name, but I remember you taking me to the meadow to pick flowers for her. April 7th was always my favorite day." She explained, making you choke up. When she told you April's middle name, you and Joel completely lost it. Theresa, for your Tess, the woman who believed so much in Ellie, she forced you to believe in her, too. The woman who saved your life in more ways than one. The woman who would've absolutely adored Charlie if she ever met her.Ā
You love being grandparents againā admittedly, a little older than you were the first time around. Joel teaches the girls Spanish words and lets them pull on his beard. You make extra food so your baby has something to eat after the long days and nights of keeping them alive, and you play silly games with them. They don't look like you or Joel or even Charlie or Eric. They look like their own little people. People who will never know the loss, destruction, and nights spent staring hopelessly at walls you went through. People who will grow up safe and loved and cared for. People who carry names they won't be able to put a face to.Ā
That's okay. They don't need to know about the people you were before you were their grandparents, and maybe it's time for you to try to let that time go. Maybe, in your and Joel's old age, with the deep wrinkles and graying hair, you can just be. Maybe you can just dance in the living room and make warm blankets and fall asleep holding hands.Ā Maybe everything does turn out okay.

It's 10+ years in your sims future. Where are they at that time compared to where they are right now in your story?
Ok... so, I may have had a little too much fun with this one, and now I can't wait for li'l Aspen to be a child!!! š„¹š§”
Hi! My name is Aspen, but most people call me Annie, and Iām ten-and-a-half years old.
My mom is a Director at the Dreamer Foundation (whatever that means). And my dad is the Mayor of San Myshuno. They both work a lot. A LOT. I spend most days after school at home alone. Well, not alone alone. My dog, Pepper, is here with me. We play and go for walks. Sheās really smart too. My uncle Asher is teaching me how to train her. She already knows how to sit and lay down. Next, Iām going to teach her how to roll over. Asher has a dog too. Her name is Pixel and sheās so cute! Pixel and Pepper are best friends! My best friend is Mei. Sheās been my best friend since before I knew the word ābest friendā. At least, thatās what my mom says.
Sometimes on the weekends Atlas, Asher, Pixel, Pepper, and me will all go to the Bay to visit Grandma Megan and Grandpa Alex. I love their house! Itās right by the ocean and has the biggest backyard Iāve ever seen! My cousin Spencer lives there too with her mom and stepdad. Sheās a teenager, and sheās really cool. She has lots of friends and a boyfriend (but thatās a secret, so donāt tell anyone I told you), and sheās a songwriter. Her and Grandpa Alex are trying to teach me how to play the guitar, but itās really hard and Iām not very good at it. Sometimes I need a break, so Iāll help Grandma Megan with her plants. Sheās teaching me all about plants and flowers and herbs. One day Iām going to have a great big garden!
We always make it back home on Sunday because thatās when me and dad make dinner for everyone. Itās my favorite time of every week! My favorite thing to make is stuffed peppers. We buy them in every color. My favorite is the orange ones. Uncle Atlas likes the green ones. Ew!
Tonight, we were supposed to make risotto, but dad hasnāt come home yet. Mom says heās stuck at work, but he never works late on Sundays. Itās our night. Atlas said heād help me make the risotto, but I didnāt want to cook with him. I wanted to cook with my dad. I got really mad and ran to my room and locked the door. Iām not letting anyone in until he gets home. But itās almost ten oāclock. I'm supposed to be asleep and my tummy is grumbling.
I hope he gets home soonā¦
#TYSM for the ask!!!#this was so much fun!!#so many spoilers in there#and of course i couldn't resist a cliffhanger#lynzi answers#aries outtakes#aspen realta#pepper realta

Family Fun
Family Ties AU
A/N: Ignore any typos!
Their trip to Mississippi was a success. Haleigh didn't want to leave the Jones family but they sent her home with sweets and gifts for baby boy. Monique made sure Haleigh had her number and knew to use it whenever she needed to. Grandma Jones did the same. Ardian had spent a lot of alone time with Grandpa Jones and his uncles. Haleigh wanted to ask what they were doing but she figured they were like her dad, brother, uncles and cousins when the family got together.
Getting back to Florida was bittersweet, she missed his family already but she was doing a lot of moving around there so she was glad to be in her bed resting. Ardian made sure she knew not to leave the house, barely her bed for anything and to call if she needed something that wasn't in her house. She did so gladly.
A week after getting back, Haleigh mentioned to Roman that she wanted cookout food and he planned a family cookout for the weekend. He let her invite her friends, knowing she would bring Ardian along so him and his cousins could get their hands on him. Learn a little more about him.
"Look at the lil penguin," Apryl gushed as Haleigh waddled into the kitchen. She got up to hug her niece and rub her belly. "Hey, baby boy. What you doing in there?"
Haleigh stared at her aunt trying not to laugh. "That's not nice, Auntie. It's hard moving around with this belly."
"I did it twice, I know." She laughed helping her onto the bar stool next to Trinity, who rubbed her belly.
"Hey, Auntie Trin. Thank you for the slides, they're so comfortable."
"You're welcome. Maybe now you'll stay out those sneakers so your feet stop hurting." She suggested with a smile.
Haleigh shrugged playfully. "I'm not really leaving the house these days anyway so you'll get your way."
"Uhuh unless it's with your lil boyfriend. Why I had to hear about him from your raggedy mama and Apryl? Thought we was better than that."
Haleigh glanced at Apryl, who was laughing and Kandice, who was busying herself with icing cupcakes. "He's not my boyfriend, Auntie. Ardian is just my friend."
"Uhuh friend, Marie. Maybe by the time my grand baby gets here yall will stop acting like you don't like each other." Kandice shrugged with a smile.
Out in front of the house two cars pulled up, one carrying Morgan and Chenice the other carrying Woody, Elijah, Luke and Ardian. Both groups got out, making their way to the front door and Chenice excitedly rung the doorbell.
"That must be the girls," Haleigh said struggling to get down from the stool.
"Girl, sit down." Apryl chastised. "Milo, go get the door please!"
Silence.
"Adrian!"
"I'm going, Ma!" He yelled back, jogging to the door.
"Now Apryl that's a shame that he heard you all the way outside." Kandice laughed. "And why you rushing to the door, Marie? You see them almost every day."
"Not rushing, Mama. They're my guests so I was being polite."
"Or is it cause your boyfriend is with them," Trinity asked making a kissing noises at her.
Haleigh laughed with a hand on her belly. "Auntie, stop."
Milo walked the group into the kitchen then rushed back outside. The group made their rounds hugging the women. Ardian stood by Haleigh rubbing her belly, talking softly to her and baby boy. Morgan nudged Kandice and whispered.
"You finally get to see what we see, Mama."
Kandice raised a browand smiled. "Mmmhm. I see. Os this all the time?"
"Yup," Morgan responded still watching.
Woody shook his head at them. "For them to say they don't like each other, I can't tell."
Apryl shrugged. "They're both lying and think we believe it. I mean look at them, ain't even realized we talking about them."
"You and baby boy alright?" Ardian asked still rubbing her belly.
She nodded, smiling at the kicks she felt. "Yeah we're okay."
"Why you ain't call me to pick you up? You don't need to be driving."
"I didn't drive, my brother picked me up."
Kandice cleared her throat interrupting their conversation. It was then the two of them remembered other people were in the kitchen with them.
"Sorry, sorry. Mommy, Aunties, this is Ardian. Ardian, this is my mom Kandice and my Aunties Apryl and Trinity. He's friends with Woody, Elijah and Luke."
Ardian went to hug them all. "Nice to meet you, ladies. Thank you for letting us come."
All three women shared a look then smiled at him.
"Nice to officially meet you too, Ardian. So you and Hae are dating?" Kandice asked ignoring her daughter's groan.
Ardian smiled. "No ma'am. We're friends and baby boy is my best friend."
"Oooh friends?" Apryl asked with an amused smile. "That's what we're calling it now, light bright?"
Ardian scratched his head confused. "Uuuh I guess so, Ms. Apryl."
Haleigh cut in, "Auntie, leave him alone."
Apryl laughed and zipped her lips.
"You like spending time with them I've heard. Oh how was the trip?" Trinity asked to change the subject.
"Yeah, spend so much time together now I gotta force him to get on the game." Woody complained rolling his eyes.
"Shut up, Woody," Ardian laughed, "But it was good. Hae got to meet my uncle, Auntie, grandparents and Nana. My grandma and Nana made baby boy a few blankets."
"Ooh meeting the family huh? That's sweet." Kandice said looking more at her daughter than Ardian. "We'll have to come over and see these blankets."
When Milo got back to the patio, he informed the other men that Ardian was in the kitchen. Roman shared with his son and nephews what he had sissy told his cousins about his interaction with Ardian before they went back into the house. Koda approached Ardian, standing beside him and asking an arm around his shoulder.
"Yall ain't tell me yall added a new member to the crew."
"Technically Woody added a new member,"Elijah laughed pointing to their other friend.
Woody shook his head. "In my defense, I only invited him to the gender reveal to meet Luke and Elijah. And I told him not to flirt with sis. He didn't listen."
Ardian and Haleigh fired back at the same time. "I wasn't flirting." "He wasn't flirting."
"Hey, hey, hey," Roman called out calmly, "It's all okay. It's okay. Woody, Princess is happy so we're glad you brought him around. It'll only be a bad thing if ... well I think you know."
Woody nodded slowly maintaining eye contact with the bigger man.
"Good, good. Princess ... Chenice ... Morgan," he paused waiting to get their attention, "We're gonna borrow these fellas. We need all hands on deck outside. And don't worry, we'll take good care of them. Come on, fellas."
The men took notice of Ardian getting one last rub of Haleigh's belly before turning away. Luke and Elijah followed him while Woody stayed back hoping to be forgotten as the men walked out. A few moments later Jimmy poked his head back in the kitchen.
"That meant you too. Bring ya ass on, Woody!"
When they got outside Koda gripped Ardian's shoulder tight and passed him a beer after popping the top off for him.
"So uuuuh you like my sister? And ion wanna hear that friends bullshit you told my dad." Koda said bluntly.
Ardian took a long drink to avoid the question. "We are friends though. I'm helping her and baby boy out as much as I can. She shouldn't be doing this alone while she pregnant."
Jey stated at him. "So you gon leave after she have lil uce then? You just doing this while she pregnant."
"No, no. I'm here as long as she want me around."
"Baby cousin don't just let people around for a few weeks or months. Once she's attached that's it unless you leave or do something to her." Milo chimed in.
"I ain't gon do nothing to hurt her. That weak ass already did enough to her as is." Ardian shrugged. "I'm picking up his slacks because I want to and because her and baby boy deserve it."
Jimmy grinned sticking his hand out for Ardian to slap, which he did. "Smooth operator! I just wanna say I liked you since the gender reveal. I told them."
Jey and Roman smacked his neck making them all laugh.
"I just got one question," Eli announced. "You don't got no weird ass pregnancy fetish, do you? Cause that's nasty and outta the question."
All the men started laughing, shoving Eli playfully.
"I know Pops already told you but ima say it again," Koda said squeezing Ardian's shoulder again. "As long as baby sis is happy we good with you but the minute she ain't yo ass is grass. Clear?"
"Crystal," Ardian said coolly.
"But don't worry you won't be alone if shit goes bad. Woody gon get his ass whooped too," Jimmy added glancing in the other man's direction.
Woody groaned. "And after we both heal, Ardian ima whoop your ass again."
Ardian laughed. "Chill, Woody. I know Messiah said a lot of shit that ended up being a lie but I ain't him. I'm a man, I got my priorities together. I ain't gon let no harm come to Hae or baby boy. They good with me."
The three older men stared hard at Ardian for a few moments then broke into wide smiles. They offered him hugs and welcomed him into the family ignoring his insistence that him and Haleigh were just friends.
"At this point, that's yo son." Eli asserted.
Woody threw his hands up. "That's what I said!"

Chapter Two of my Bryce fic: Another Chance To Fuck Up
(@Arlooh on ao3)
June 17th, i've worked so fucking hard to get back into this grey ass state and not even her bitche of a mom will let me talk. It's, not, FAIR. I only know that shes graduating because unique fucking monique and her excuse of a boyfriend have been yelling at each other outside the milkshake mania. I'm trying to sit at the fucking bus stop, not see a whore yell about how she gave her heart to him. Fuck that.
-Ā
Looking into the mirror of the thrift store changing room, he scans himself up and down, looking for any signs of "hey, I'm fucking poor, mind kicking my ass back to the penitentiary please?" as he forces himself to stand still and stop bouncing on the balls of his feet.
Ā He's fucking nervous.Ā
Wiping his hands down his jeans, giving himself a stern and harsh "whispered" talking to (he's been yelling into the mirror for 10 minutes, some employee as been asking him to leave for the better part of that, he won't) and fixing what makeup he has on, he turns and leaves the changing room. Giving a polite "Screw off, asshole!" and middle finger to the worker and swifly walking out without paying for a thing, only after sliding a sick pair of sunglasses off some dude waiting in line.Ā
-
But all that worry leads him to now, jumping a fence into the graduation event at 'Whatever the fuck' high school, so what if the entery was free, this is cool.Ā
The first thing he sees is probably the last person he wants to see, Tacky Tammy in the fucking flesh. And god, she looks worse than the last he seen her. That fucking bitch.Ā
Quickly avoiding that mess, he runs off to the right where he can hear people chatting, yelling, the typical American slang, and to behind the bleachers where he can finally fucking breath. He's only been up a few hours and yet it feels like hes been up for days, all the while having the energy to fight the thing people call god. "Where ever that old bastard is, he sure had a shit plan for me" he hisses as he lights up the last cigarette he's got, stole it from some homeless guy lastnight and yet it doesnāt make him feel any better about it.Ā
But blasting speakers, which are WAY to fucking loud mind you, go off right by my fucking ear "Five minutes till showtime everyone! I hope you've got your disposables ready! And no /flash/ please, thank you" God. Fucker sound like an asshole to be around, fucks he got to be so stern for. And why the fuck would someone flash the crowd at a high school. This isn't the big bang, we don't need to see that you bleached your ass, Marissa. But shit, 5 minites till showtime. And I was calling it that before grandpa over he did anyways..
He can barely see through the crowd of green gowns and capes to even see the stage from here, it takes him all of 5 minutes to climb out of the prison that is bleachers pressed to a wire fence. Good thing he's scrawny of else he wouldnāt have been able to get out in time to see the show that is Bryce Tankthrust. Fuck. To think that he ever hated her for what happened. All the hate he'd ever bared for Bryce washes away in a second at seeing her up on that stage, when did she straighten her hair? Whatever.
She looks fucking /good/, greens definitely my favorite coulor. Fuck, she can take green if it means he can see her like she is now. Even in a graduation gown.Ā
And for the first time in a long time, he smiles. Bobby smiles because fuck is he happy. He didnāt /mean/ to look like a smug bastard, even if he is. He's just happy. But nothing ever goes right for him does it. Bryce looked at him, right in the eye, could you belive that? But he just smiled back, but not when her prideful smile turned down and into shock. He hasn't seen that face since.. since he threw up all over her heart, the one that she took out for him to profess her love. Fuck. Shit, SHIT.Ā
He hasn't ran that fast in, ever. The second he seen Bryce drop, clutching where her heart is (right?) fuck, did he really do that much damage? He didnāt think it was /that/ bad, he just wanted to surprise Bryce after escaping and... he just ran through that crowd. Over the people who were starting to pile up on the stage, he didnāt give a /fuck/ if he got sent back now or to some place worse for doing what he did and all but growling for security to get off her, Bryce was fucking hurt and it was all his fault.
#brandon rogers#brcu#Bryce Tankthrust#young bryce tankthrust#Bobby Worst#Worstthrust#part 2#fic#okay but im loving this because its gonne be sweet I SWEAR#THEYLL INTERACT NEXT CHAPTER I PROMISE!!!

#@! MIKEY AS YOUR BOYFRIEND
pairings: sano manjiro x fem!reader
tw/cw ā ļø: cussing, mention of insomia, mention of injury and killing
requested: no
barrista's note ā: i just wanna hug him :( he deserves more than the world.
#MIKEY
to date mikey, you have to be a fully independent person bcos we all know how he is. it's hard to understand what's going on his head. he always has a lot of shit going on with toman, it's hard for him to find a way to balance his time between you and the gang. you better thank god for kenchin taking the whole shit over when mikey wants to have a break.
first thing mikey does when you started dating was probably teaching you how to defend yourself! as much as he wants to keep you out of his delinquent life, it's a huge part of mikey so he decides it's best for you to always be close to him or kenchin.
he trains you for martial arts or asks his grandpa if he doesn't have time. he's so supportive during trainings and takes his time to teach you how to fight.
mikey pulled away as you leaned back and threw your kick.
"wooah y/n-cchi you can reach my face already! you're the best student i've ever had!"
"i'm your first and only student, mikey." you chuckled, but he was already at explaining the next move.
mikey's overprotective, naturally, he wants you to stay close to him or kenchin as much as you can. since toman is one of mikey's priorities alongside you, he asks kenchin or mitsuya to take you to a safe place if a fight breaks in. although he's aware of your capability of defending yourself he never wants you to get involved in fights.
when you two are alone, mikey is not toman's leader; he's the goofy and clingy boyfriend </3. he pouts if you don't give him enough affection.
he lets you take his motorcycle for a drive, but he also loves driving you! it can be anywhere, mikey loves the feeling of your hands around his waist while the wind licks his face; it makes him feel like you guys are infinite.
falls asleep on your lap, doesn't matter when and when. you're basically mikey's portable bed and he loves sleeping on your lap while your fingers caress his skin. he falls asleep even faster if you play with his hair.
"kenchin!" mikey looked around as draken rushed to him, pushing people to clear a path for himself.
"where is y/n-cchi? find her and move her to somewhere safe."
just as draken was about to start looking for you in the crowd, a guy on mikey's left side fell on the floor and you casually greeted them.
"hey."
"what are you doing? get the fuck out of here. now."
one of the hardest parts of being in a relationship with mikey is waiting for him to understand your feelings. to be honest, he doesn't have a clue about your mental state most of the time. he'd probably check on you if you didn't talk to him/came over to see him for a few days and he wouldn't dwell on your reasons.
so you have to open up to mikey if you want him to know how you feel, still, he's most likely unable to emphasize but mikey cares for you deeply. he does everything he can in order to make you feel better. he listens to you without any interruptions and he's always there for you. mikey always has your back.
second hardest thing about your relationship is arguements. arguing with mikey is like arguing with a wall, i don't think mikey cares about your opinion as long as he thinks he's right. he always expects you to see things from his point of view so it's really hard to meet him in the middle but thank god kenchin is there to be your peacemaker </3.
his love language is physical touch and quality time.
mikey sings to you when you can't sleep.
"nothing's gonna hurt you baby
as long as you're with me you'll be just fine."
mikey hummed with a soft voice as his fingers ran through your hair. sitting on the bed with your head on his lap.
"when we dance in my living room- ah, y/n-cchi i'm sleepy too."
mikey yawned as he lifted your head from his lap, laying down next to you and wrapping his arms around your waist instead.
he loves getting snacks with you </3 you wanna get a milkshake? hop on his bike. you want ice cream? mikey's taking you to eat ice cream.
mikey starts to not sleep well after a while you guys started dating, he feels like he's missing something when you're not there in his arms so you guys usually sleep together.
mikey has... bad days. in those days he's not childish and talkative like he always is with you, in those days he just wants to be with you, either him laying on your lap while you're watching something, his fingers tangling to yours, his fingers tracing up your skin or your fingers tracing up his skin. he just wants to touch you somehow, it calms him down.
you are one of the few people that mikey allows himself to show his emotions to and i think he breaks down sometimes. mikey is tough and very strong, yes but he's also a teenager with a lot to carry on his shoulders. his breakdowns would be pretty rough, you have to read the signs during his breakdowns. mikey either wants to be left alone or to be comforted. give the man some space if he wants to be left alone, use every chance you get to show him that you love him and you're there for him if he wants you to help him through the pain.
mikey is neutral with pda, he doesn't push you if you initiate something (hugs, holding hands, kisses etc) in public but he only gets physically affectionate when he feels like it (it would be very random i think)
sometimes he just lays on the bed and watches you do stuff. you're his number one comfort source.
no disrespecting him in front of the gang
don't blame the man about gang shit he had already suffered too much
speaking of falling asleep, if you ever fall asleep on him in public he guards you and does whatever it takes to not wake you up and expects you to do the same for him.
"oii, mikey! what are we gonna do ab-"
"sheessh!"
mitsuya stopped talking as he saw mikey caressing your face and rubbing small circles on your back while your arms were wrapped around his waist like you were hugging your pillow.
"okay, sorry." mitsuya whispered and left the room, trying to close the door as silently as he can.
mikey placed a kiss on your forehead and chuckled.
"you're like a cat! my cat."
i don't think mikey gets jealous easily and he becomes very clingy when he's jealous. he literally sits down and hugs your leg to stop you from leaving his side, doesn't let you go while cuddling, grabs your arm and drags you away from the person you're talking to.
"i don't like it even one bit when you interact with them." he pouted.
is very furious if he thinks someone's making you uncomfortable
"you bastards really should stop hitting on her. fuck off or i'll break your legs."
he freaks out if you were injured. shows up at the hospital with his hair all messy, eyes red and swollen. we all saw he managed draken's situation pretty well but this would be different. no matter how hard he tries mikey wouldn't sit down calmly and wait. he either sits right next to you, holding your hand or he gets away from everyone and cries his heart out.
he really appreciates it when you talk to him about how his dark side is taking it's toll on mikey. boy needs guidance in his life and he trusts you. you're all he's got.
mikey would kill for you. without hesitance.
dates with mikey are so random. it can be a lunch/dinner/breakfast or a special meal mikey has made up, a drive around the city, beach date, cinema date, napping date... just, random...
he loves watching movies with you! you guys have movie dates twice a week and mikey watches you with pure adoration in his eyes when you fall asleep on his shoulder.
you have to understand that toman is a big part of his life so mikey's waiting you to support and understand him. don't pout at his wounded face and go full mom mode on him when he returns to you at the end of the day. kiss him and help him clean his wounds, tell him you're there for him as you put him to sleep with his head on your lap.
you and toman are mikey's whole world and he tries so hard to keep it all together. he's the best boyfriend despite his flaws and he deserves a big, warm hug </3
nsfw !!
i think mikey's attitude in bedroom depends on his mood.
he's loud and he encourages you to be loud too </3
he overstims you or doesn't give you permission to cum if he wanna play his hand dirty, he'll make you beg and ask you to say what you exactly want out loud for him
prefers praising rather than degrading
100% overstims you if he's eating you out and god he's never sick of the feeling of your hands in his hair, slightly pulling it as you scream his name in pleasure.
he gets aggressive when he's jealous </3
"can that fucking bastard make you feel that good, hm?" mikey grunted as he kept thrusting into you and abused your clit with his fingers.
"nobody can make you feel good like i do." he continued as he started sucking on your neck, leaving purple marks all over your skin.
"right, princess?"
lets you ride him when he's too lazy to be on top, he also loves the sight of your tits bouncing right in front of his face while your walls are clenching around his dick

It Takes A Village Chapter 2
Chris Evans x Pregnant!daughter!reader
Series Master List
Series summary: You find out that your pregnant. After being kicked out of your mom's house you go to live full time with your Dad who you only saw once every few months. Will he react badly to you being a mom at such a young age?
Chapter Summary: You move in with Chris and decide what your doing with the baby.
Series warnings: swearing, fighting with a parent, teen pregnancy, speak of abortion.
Chapter warnings: swearing, teen pregnancy, hinting to abortion I don't directly say abortion but y'know it's hinting to it so.
Y/n means your name. (Divider isn't mine)
It had been a few days since everything, your mom has been giving you a cold shoulder, Jake told his parents and Grandma, they were mad at the both of you, and believe you should terminate your pregnancy because your so young. Your dad and you talked every day, after a few days he did give you a lecture about using protection, and let you know he would've preferred being a grandpa a little later in life. He told you that your room was all ready for when you got there and that your grandma was excited to see you though no one except your parents and Jake's family actually know why you're moving back to Boston. Now you're on the airplane going to Boston. It's only a three-hour flight so you began thinking over all the decisions you made leading up to this.
First, you met Jake when you moved to town when you were five, started dating at 14, then you got pregnant with his kid and your mom disowned you at 15. Now you need to decide, be a mom at 15 or terminate the pregnancy. Since you had found out about the baby your hands kinda self consciously went to your stomach to rub it, not like you are showing yet it just gave you comfort. You looked out the window deep in thought, if you kept the baby you would have to deal with the whole pregnancy and then raise a kid at 15 alone because your boyfriend broke up with you. If you didn't keep the baby you could keep being a kid, but what if you regret not keeping them. Your dad already told you he'd support whatever you do and would even help you set up a nursery nook in your bedroom for the baby if you decided to keep them, and with him there to help you the baby would at least have a male figure in their life even if it was not a dad. Dating would be hard with a kid but it's not like you were planning to date for a while anyway. What would people think? Chris Evans' precious daughter pregnant at 15. After a while in your thoughts you decided, it was the choice you had been leaning toward since you and your dad had that talk.
The plane eventually landed in Boston and you nervously looked around the airport for your dad, and uncle who your dad told you wanted to come with. You eventually spotted Chris standing with Scott smiling at you. You ran into Chris' arms feeling relieved to finally having a comforting hug only your dad could give you. "Howdy dad!" You said smiling. Since you lived in Texas since you were 5 you began saying southern words but still have a Boston (ma) accent. You'd pretty much go from full blown Boston accent to saying yall and other southern words.
"What about me?" Scott asked when you pulled out of the hug with your dad.
"Howdy Uncle Scott!" You gave him a quick hug before the three of you began to walk to the car. The decision you had made on the plane ride here was hanging over your head and you knew you had to tell him soon but not when your uncle was here so you'll wait for when it's just you and your dad.
"Chris won't tell anyone why your moving back what happened?" Scott asked you. He knew you loved it in Texas with your friends and especially your boyfriend.. Which your assuming he doesn't know you and Jake broke up or if he does he doesn't know the real reason.
"Mom kicked me out..." You mumbled as you made it to the car tossing your bags into the trunk.
You didn't see how Scott looked at Chris questioningly. There are so many different reasons your mom could kick you out for but he just couldn't settle on one. Chris just shook his head, telling Scott not to ask. You got into the backseat while they both got into the front. You pulled out your phone looking through your friend's Instagram. Eventually your dad pulled up to his house and you excitedly jump out of the car to go say hi to Dodger. You heard the two men chuckle as you ran up to the house. Dodger ran straight to you when you walked in. Your dad and uncle grabbed your bags before going inside to find you playing with Dodger on the floor.
"Someone missed you." Scott said smiling at you. You smiled back before continuing to pet Dodger.
"Yeah." You laughed as dodger licked your face. You finally stood wiping off your face before following Chris up to your room which hadn't changed in the two years since you had been here. (He was in LA the last time you visited him) "Home sweet home!" You said jumping onto your bed a relaxed sigh leaving you as you closed you eyes.
Scott and Chris smiled as you took in being back in Boston. You opened your eyes and smiled at them before you smile faltered remembering you still have to tell your dad about what you're doing with the baby.
"Missed your room?" Chris asked raising an eyebrow at you as they walked in. He sat your bags down.
"Yeah!" Other then the fact this room was still decorated for young you since you had never really bothered redecorating it since you only wanted to spend time with your family, it was definitely the place you felt most at home.
---------
After a little while of catching up with Scott on everything except why you got kicked out he went home. You and your dad were now sitting in the kitchen eating pizza in silence.
"Dad? I decided what I want to do." You said quietly.
"Okay, what do you want to do?" He asked you looking your way.
"I'm keeping the baby." You said giving him a nervous smile. He smiled at you secretly excited that he was going to have a grandchild.
"Okay! I'll help you book an appointment. Make sure the little one and you are both healthy." He assured patting your back reassuring you.Ā
"Thanks." You smiled less nervous than before.

Walker 1.17
Here we are at episode 17. No recap but plenty of random comments. And some blurry caps.
Oh no. A debate. And I'm watching on the app so I can't skip it. Oh, the horror.
Doesn't seem like Cordell would be tasked with driving either of these candidates. Don't they have someone who has a connection to neither of them?
Trey's mom is such a contrast to Micki's mom. That's going to be an interesting wedding reception.
If Treyās mom isn't staying with them, why didn't she leave her suitcase in the car? (Oh, maybe she took a cab.)
Richard Speight! \o/ Can we thank him for the pretty tonight?
This seems like a Significant Moment when Micki gets her gun out of that chest. (Spoiler alert: it's not.)
Whew! Thank goodness for the bomb threat. I almost had to sit through the debate.
I think the most important thing in this episode is going to be Jared's curls peeking out under his cowboy hat. It must have been awfully humid in Austin that week.
I mean. Come on.
Cow! (Too obscure?)
Wolverines! (Too obscure?)
Remember what I said about not needing bad Photoshopped photos?
Why did they use pictures of Jared as a 30-year-old? I know there are teen photos out there.
Ah, we've answered the question of what time of year this is supposed to be. Thank you, Walker.
That's two mentions of Rebecca Ferguson. Foreshadowing or red herring?
You know, my kidās high school doesn't give out yearbooks at the end of the school year any more. You have to come back and get it in the spring. I don't like it.
Is this chick Ruby, or was the other chick Ruby? Anyway, she is up to no good. Parents out of town indeed!
Some of this music sounds just like the music they made fun of on Supernatural. Like, the Dr. Sexy MD music.
Why doesn't Micki just kick Travis's gun away. (Was Stella's thug boyfriend named Travis? I can't ever remember.) Also, this Travis reminds me of Ash.
So, what's the difference between police and Rangers? Are rangers like sheriffs and deputies, or state highway patrol, or what?
Hmmm, Geri really started paying attention when Cordell said he was going to talk to the guy who falsely confessed to killing his wife. Almost like she has a vested interest in this or something.
This Ruby chick is really up to no good.
Why is this reporter being dumped at the Walker ranch?
Oooh, Stan is the bad guy! Despite his white hat! Don't hit the reporter, Stan! It's pretty much guaranteed to get you bad press! Oh no. Oh no no no. Right before the election, accidentally killing a reporter? Bad look, friend. I guess it's pretty convenient that the reporter didn't drive himself, though, because there would be a car to get rid of.
Well, I thought this deathbed confession was going to involve Geri, not Stan!
But seriously, these curls.
Stan washing his hands. Out, out, damned spot! I hope you thought to delete that reporter's recording.
Oh, you saw Grandpa taking a pill? Look, Stan, old people take pills. It could have been ibuprofen for all you know.
Enough with Becca Ferguson already!
Shouldn't these guys be doing some last-minute electioneering? Pressing the flesh?
Anyway. Iāve been a little snarky about most of this episode, but then we get to this last bit. And friends, it gently caresses my buttons and whispers sweet nothings into their ear and then pushes them. Hard.
First, is Stan literally going to try to kill Cordell on the road? And claim it was an accident? Oh, no, wait, that ain't Stan.
This rollover seen from the inside is actually pretty good, especially since it ends with hurt Jared. Thank you, Richard Speight. You know how to make our boy look good.
Hello my name is caranfindel and I have a problem.
Karli is right, Stella, your dad is fucking hot!
Now heās being forced to dig a hole. Are they going to bury him with the reporter? How long would it take one man to dig this hole? Have y'all not heard of a shallow grave? (I know, everything's bigger in Texas.)
Hello, Bigger.
You know, if anyone ever held a gun to my head and made me dig my own grave, I'd just lie down and say "shoot me now." But Cordell is obviously the kind of guy whoās going to stay alive and come up with a way out of this.
Then Cordell does this amazing thing where, when the guy holding the gun is distracted, he hits him with the shovel, grabs his gun, shoots the other guy, and then grabs the first guy, pulls him close, and shoots him point blank. It's glorious. Unfortunately, it's impossible to get a cap, and I can't find gifs on Tumblr.
I tried, though.
He's also fucking hot holding a gun on his former buddy. And luckily our friend @jaredwalkertexasranger did capture this in gif form.
Mmmmm...
Is this the first time weāve seen Cordell kill anybody? I didnāt watch the first few eps so I could have missed it.
And what do we think he is going to do with Stan once he gets him in the car? Drive him off to an even more secluded location and put a bullet in his brain? Nah. If he was going to do that, he could have done it right here at this convenient hole. I think he's taking him in, no matter what he said.
Also, Geri is still involved, right?

Just a pup (inuyasha)
Kagome smirked as she looked out the window of her bedroom, watching as Inuyasha popped out of the well looking excited and blushing. It was the second Friday of the month, which per the agreement the two of them agreed on, meant it was Inuyasha's punishment night.
Many of their friends, and well, ANYONE who knew Inuyasha would of been shocked to learn that the bad ass demon slayer was a natural submissive, who got his rocks off being ordered around and teased by people weaker then him, and more to the point, being spanked like a naughty little boy. Lord knows Kagome had been shocked when he confess (Well shocked and amused) and she had agreed to humor the silly pup and spend the second and fourth Friday of every month making him a little bitch, the First and third were romantic date nights.
With date nights in the past (it was just easier to get a seat at a inn then a fancy restaurant in the present) and punishment nights in the present (So no one heard Inuyasha yowling for mercy, They timed it for when Kagome's mom and grandpa would take Souta out to a movie) it was working out to a point, though Inuyasha had started to phone in his half of the deal to Kagome's annoyance.
'Well after tonight he'll know what to expect if he can't measure up~' She thought with a evil little giggle, then went down to meet him at the door.
Inuyasha couldn't help but grin like a fucking school girl as Kagome answered the door, giggling softly. He didn't quite understand why he wanted to be dominated when he hated being hurt (a big part in picking Kagome to punish him, At her hardest she barely hurt his behind, though he played it up like she was killing him) But he knew he was at his hardest when she abused him.
"About time Pup. Your five minutes late." Kagome said, sneering at him and making his cock twitch in his pants.
He knew of course he was on time, it was all part of the role play.
"I'm sorry Miss Kagome, I couldn't help it." Inuyasha mewed, looking down at the floor, his ears drooping, and trying not to grin.
"Oh you'll be sorry alright~" She said and grabbed him by the collar and lead the way to her room. "Though I have a surprise for you my dirty little pup."
"O-Oh?" Inuyasha asked, though he was distracted by a scent in the air as they got to the second story of the house. it was familiar but there's no way it could be what he was thinking it was.
"A yup~ I've noticed that despite all the wailing and whining you do, I'm not really hurting your cute little butt." Kagome said, opening the door to her room.
And sitting on her bed, holding the fire harden wooden paddle with holes drilled into it to cut down on air resistance, was Koga.
"So I asked Koga to help me give you the punishment you sooo seem to need and want. Your welcome." Kagome giggled as Inuyasha froze, blushing and then snarling.
"Now now Pup, none of that!" Koga ordered. "We both know a fight between us would be a draw, but think of how much everyone back home would loooove to hear about what a little fucking wimp you are, that you beg to be spanked and stepped." Koga said, smirking and wagging a finger.
The thought of all of his other friends and well, everyone that they both knew knowing what a little bitch he was took the fight out of Inuyasha, even as his cock twitched and throbbed and tented out his pants, a small damp spot appeared from pre.
"I..but..Kagommmme! the deal wa-" Inuyasha turned his attention to his mistress/girlfriend, but was cut off.
"The deal was I dominate your subby bitch ass and get romantic dates in exchange. do you recall what our 'date' was Pup?" Kagome asked, frowning and shaking her head, and trying not to laugh at how hard Inuyasha was despite looking so mad and scared.
"W-We had a picnic by the lake an-"
"And you spent half of it whining about me not bringing any ramen cups and the other half chasing fish in the water because you didn't like the pasta dish I made for you." Kagome said, glaring.
"O-Oh uh..I'm sorry?" Inuyasha said/asked and poked his index fingers together.
"Like I said before, you WILL be. Koga here knows how to treat bad little pups like you and has lots of fun ideas planned out, and all he wants in return is a little loving." Kagome coo'ed.
"Y-Your not gonna.. with him..are you?" Inuyasha whined, but his cock was leaking big time now.
"Of course I am..Maybe He'll last longer then 30 seconds..Of course if you're THAT against me getting fucked by a real man, someone who doesn't need to be scolded like a naughty little boy..you could always ride Koga." Kagome giggled. "Lords knows you love it when I finger you."
"Heh, Hey I'm a open guy, as long as i get to fuck a nice tight hole i'm game." Koga laughed.
"but..but.." Inuyasha mewed.
"That's right, in your butt..or you mouth. actually yeah, Your gonna wanna suck it first." Koga said, chuckling and gesturing Inuyasha over with a finger. "Now enough of this huffing and puffing and whining, the longer you put this off, the more likely it is more people are gonna find out what a subby little bitch you are."
Inuyasha knew he should just storm out. or at least try and fuck Koga's shit up, even though the wolf demon was right that they were basically equals and would only in a draw. there was a lot of should of's.. but in the end Inuyasha's body betrayed him and he hooked his thumbs in the waistline of his pants and dropped, them, then walked over and knelled in front of Koga, who chuckled and patted his head.
"Good puppy."
Koga found himself a little jealous as he looked down at Inuyasha. just wasn't fair that a total bitch like him could have such a huge piece of fuck meat, 9 1/2 inches when Koga was only a 'mere' 7, though Koga's was thicker.
"Since you went and wasted time with all your whining and bitch, I think you owe me a little something to make up for wasting my time." Koga said, press his bare foot on the tip of Inuyasha's cock, not hard enough to hurt but the puppy let out a whimper even as his cock leaked on Koga's foot.
"Y-Yes Sir. I'm sorry sir." Inuyasha mewed softly.
"The bottom of my feet are dirty from walking to the well and coming though JUST to humor you, so I think they deserve a little tongue bath, don't you?" Koga asked, shifting his weight around on his foot and then switching up, Inuyasha's cock juice coating his soles.
"Heh, Really? I don't usually make him do THAT." Kagome giggled, sitting back and enjoying the show.
"Well I dare say he enjoys the idea." Koga chuckled, raising a foot for her to see the pre all over it,then held it in front of Inuyasha's face. "I'm waiting~"
He was actually testing to see how far he could push the little bitch, and if Inuyasha had outright refused well he'd just make up for it with the paddling. Instead though Inuyasha's cute pink tongue darted out, taking quick fast licks on the sole of of his foot.
"Pfttttt Bwhahahaha!" Kagome laughed. "No way!"
"Heh, good boy Inuyasha, however I want long heel to toe licks. so you get the full experience." Koga instructed.
"Y-Yes sir. Sorry." Inuyasha whined, closing his eyes and leaning in.
"Ah ah ah, and eyes open and looking at me while you do it. I know this is your first time worshiping a alpha males feet so I'm be nice, but we DO have to nip bad habits in the bud~" Koga chuckled.
The half demon nodded and locked eyes with Koga, as much as he could as he slurped and licked away on foot, only closing them when hitting super foul tasting spots on Koga's foot. when the first one was clean, Koga simply offered up the other one and made small talk with Kagome while Inuyasha worked, as if he was just a object.
when it was all over Koga held his feet up, using Inuyasha's shoulders to do see and had Kagome inspect them.
"Hmm yup, they're spotless. Good to know I have a good widdle foot licker I can count on to take care of my feet every night. you wouldn't believe how dirty and smelly they get walking everywhere." Kagome said and Inuyasha whimpered.
"Oh, you don't like that idea pup?" Koga asked, smirking. "It's ok if you only like to worship men's feet. I always figured you played for both teams."
"N-No! I'll lick Kagome's feet!" Inuyasha protested.
"Awww! that's so cute! you think you had a choice!" Kagome squealed and with Koga's feet down she was gonna give him a hug and a kiss, then pulled back and held her nose. "Yuck! foot breath!"
"Yeahhh you're gonna wanna keep lots of mints around if you wanna kiss him after he's been cleaning your feet." Koga laughed as Inuyasha squirmed. "That or just don't kiss him anymore."
"Hmm I'll have to think about that."
"I..but.." Inuyasha whined, turning back and forth looking at both of them.
"Pup, stop fussing and get over my lap, it's time for your reward for being SUCH a good little foot bitch." Koga said, patting his lap.
"...Yes sir." Was all the defeated by his own perverted desires half demon could say, and he got over Koga's lap.
Laying over Koga's lap Inuyasha could feel just how 'excited' this turn of events was making the wolf demon, Koga's manhood was poking him in the tummy.
'a manhood that'll end up in me..or Kagome..All because I couldn't be a good boyfriend.' Inuyasha thought.
He'd never pictured being spanked by anther man, or having to clean someones feet and yet here he was and the most damnable thing of it all was his hard-on wouldn't go away!
his leaking manhood was dangling as Koga kept his legs spread but Inuyasha was fairly certain he was gonna be cumming ropes before long.
'Maybe once I nut I'll be able to clearly..' He thought, then Koga's voice drew his attention.
"Now Inuyasha, as I understand it, Kagome spanks you for 10 minutes., a time length I'm willing to match but I will let you end it early if it's too much for you. All you have to do is say 'Daddy pwease stop!' However if you do that, Or if you wet yourself or cum, you're little bitch ass will be going in diapers for the rest of the night." Koga said and nodded to Kagome who tugged out a pack of thick, nursery print diapers and smirked.
"...What?!" Inuyasha yelped trying to get out of Koga's lap and being held in place with ease, his own submissive nature keeping him for going all out to break free.
"I didn't stutter. But hey, it's ALL you, all you have to do is keep your bladder and cock under control, and take my paddling like a good boy! You can do that can't you?" Koga challenged.
"Yes!" Inuyasha huffed while thinking 'No!'
"of course even if you pee or nut, the spanking will go on till the time limit is up, but every 'accident' means one diaper.. Hope you're not big on repeat performances because I WILL put your butt in that whoooole pack if you 'earn' it." Koga chuckled.
"Is it weird I'm finding the idea of him in huggies while we fuck hawt?" Kagome asked, biting her lip.
"Not at all, we all have our kinks!" Koga said cheerfully and tapped the paddle lightly on Inuyasha's butt. "Right pup?"
"Yes daddy!" Inuyasha said then covered his mouth as Kagome and Koga laughed.
Watching her boyfriend/bitch quiver over Koga's lap, Kagome had no doubt that Inuyasha was gonna be in at least 3 diapers, the little bitch liked to edge himself for at least 3 hours a day on the week when he'd be getting spanked.
'Hell, forget three, I might have to go out and get anther pack of diapers!' Kagome thought, her folds getting damp as she pictured Inuyasha in a massive diaperzilla hugging a teddy bear and watching her get fucked. 'Huh..Kink unlocked.' She mused.
She was drawn out of her little fantasy as the first swat stuck and she could almost feel the force of the blow herself and winced.
the effect on Inuyasha's was almost cartoonish, his semi bubble butt seemed to deform around the force of the paddle as Inuyasha's mouth dropped open and his eyes went wide.
Before he could even begin wailing (which followed quickly enough) Koga stuck anther 3 blows on the pup's backside, quickly turning it bright red and then the howling and sobbing came.
'Damn, 4 blows in about ten seconds..Inuyasha's not gonna be able to sit for a week!'
As blows 5 6 7 and 8 hit Inuyasha was a blubbering mess and couldn't even talk right as a massive cum shot hit the floor.
"Wow that didn't take long." Koga teased. "Kagome could you be a dear and keep count, I don't think our little puppy is gonna be able to."
"of course~" Kagome cooed, and ripped open the package of diapers, taking one out and setting it on the desk next to her, then she winked at Inuyasha. "I think you might wanna toss in the towel pup.. It hasn't even been a minute yet."
"I-I'll never gi- AH FUCK!" Inuyasha had been in the middle of declaring his iron will, how he'd never give up when the paddle started to come down on his red cheek and reduce him back to sobbing and crying, kicking his legs and pounding his fists but there was no way out for him.
Kagome gave up trying to count the blows and just watched Inuyasha's useless big cock swing back and forth and seeing it twitch and tremble at the 2 minute mark got ready to pull out a second diaper, and wasn't disappointed when he indeed fired off again.
"Wow Inuyasha, you much REALLY like being Koga's bitch! Normally you only cum ONCE for me!" Kagome teased. "Or was it worshiping his feet first just primed you up?" She snickered.
Inuyasha couldn't even try and reply, at least with words, but but his body did and Kagome pulled out a third diaper.
Koga had to give Inuyasha credit, the mutt had lasted five minutes so far, which was four more then Koga had counted on. Of course he wasn't going all out either as he wanted Inuyasha able to walk. The pup was up to 6 diapers, and Koga was glad Kagome had insisted on putting down a puppy housebreaking pad since only five of the diapers were from cum shots.
Inuyasha had stopped fighting and was just taking the blows now, and if Koga didn't know any better the half demon seemed to be raising his buns up to meet the paddle.
"C-Come On.. That all you g-got?" Inuyasha said, sniffling and giving a impish grin as he looked over his shoulder.
'Ohhh he's adapted to the pain.. heh..and thinks he's got my number.. adorable.'
"Actually I've been holding back..Trying to be nice. but since you want full force." Koga said,Smiling like he was offering Inuyasha a treat for being a good boy and trying not to laugh at the look of terror on Inuyasha's face.
"Y-Your bluffing!" Inuyasha squealed.
"Heh, I dunno pup, I think he has been, since he'd have to make this last 10 whole minutes." Kagome chimed in, a hand down the front of her panties. "But go ahead, flip that coin. I'm loving the show."
Koga raised his arm up and got ready to deliver a full on blow to Inuyasha's red and bruised back side when Inuyasha screamed, wet himself and JUST before the paddle could hit..
"Daddy pwease stop!" Came out of his mouth.
The paddle stopped though the force from it made the pup's red bubble butt ripple and Koga chuckled as Kagome huffed.
"Boooo!" She whined.
"Now now Kagome, a deal's a deal. Inuyasha, go and stand with your nose in the corner while we clean up and get your DIAPERS ready." Koga said, tugging Inuyasha up in his lap and trying not to melt as the sniffling and sobbing pup hugging him and nodded.. giving Koga a kiss on the cheek before going to the corner.
'If I didn't know any better I'd say someones getting a crush on me.' Koga thought, then him and Kagome started to take care of the clean up.
Nose in the corner and his butt on fire, Inuyasha fought the urge to rub his cheeks since good boys took their lickings. he was confused as to why he had smooched Koga and tried to just play it off as caught up in the mood though as he waited for the ok to come out of the corner he caught himself almost sucking on his thumb three times.
Between the claw on his thumb and how sharp his fangs were he knew THAT wouldn't end well and just shifted from foot to foot.
"Don't tell me you need to use the potty before we diaper you up little guy? You already did two super piddles!" Kagome asked, clearly mistaking his fidgeting for a potty dance.
"N-No Sowwy.." Inuyasha called.
"Well if you wanna try and uh-oh before you go back in diapers, let us know." Koga said.
"Oh? your gonna be that nice?" Kagome asked.
"..Do you really want your room to smell like a poopie diaper?" Koga pointed out
"..Touche...Inuyasha go sit on the potty and try and boom boom!" Kagome ordered, a little too fast.
Inuyasha didn't really feel the need to go, but knew better then to argue and walked by, seeing them laying out the seven diapers and cutting slits in the front and back.
5 minutes later, after giving it a honest try and just pooting on the bowl, Inuyasha walked back in and looked at the massive diaper they had put together for him, apparently taking the time to glue the diapers together to make sure they wouldn't sag.
"Ready to go back into huggies pup?" Koga asked, smiling and grinning, kneeling by the diapers.
Kagome meanwhile was Naked and on the bed, tapping her fingers on the bed frame impatient to get her fun for the night.
"Do I really have a choice?" Inuyasha asked, poking his index fingers together.
it was odd, he was still aroused but for some reason, his wonderful piece of fuck meat was drooping now between his legs.
"heh, not really." Koga said.
"So hurry up! Someone us wanna get laid tonight!" Kagome whined, then glared as Inuyasha blew a raspberry at her. "Koga, spank him again."
"Wait what!?" Inuyasha yelped, and his hands went to his poor bruised backside.
"I don't think I'll have time to spank him and fuck you Kagome." Koga said, sweat dropping.
"finnne just hurry upppp!"She whined.
"Sheesh, are you sure she doesn't need a diaper too daddy?" Inuyasha asked, grinning impishly as he walked over and plopped down on the diapers, feeling like he'd sat on a thick pillow and stirring up some baby powder.
"Hey!" Kagome huffed, blushing.
"heh, Inuyasha, be good. Kagome, settle down." Koga said, shaking his head a little and then quickly got Inuyasha tapped up nice and snug in the diapers and kissed his forehead.
He also reached and grabbed a stuffed dog he'd taken from Souta's room and gave it to Inuyasha to hug and cuddle, then stood up and started to strip.
"Alright Inuyasha, I want you to pay attention and watch how a MAN fucks a woman. you might ONE day be able to please a lady, though I think it's more likely your sex life if gonna be getting spanked and diapered from now on." Koga said, and winked. "and from the look's of things, you don't mind."
Inuyasha went to argue that and then looked down, realizing he'd gotten hard from the mental image of never getting pussy again.
He could of said it was the attention, he could of claimed it was because he knew he was about to get a show..but what Inuyasha did instead was hug the stuffie to his chest and nod.
"Yes daddy."
Somehow seeing her boyfriend reduced to a oversized baby had Kagome hotter then she'd ever been, and as long as he didn't fill the back of the diapers she could see A LOT fun in the future with him in diapers and being cucked.
Of course the fact that Koga was thicker then Inuyasha and would hopefully last longer might of had something to do with it.
Laying on her back and spreading her legs, she looked up at Koga with loving eyed and coo'ed out a plea. "Take me~" feeling like this was some sort of romantic novel...and only to have Koga show apparently all demons could be stupid as he got a confused look on his face.
"Uh..But I thought you wanted to fuck..where am I taking you?" he asked.
"..Demon's..Just stick it in me already." She muttered, face palming.
"Humans.." he muttered and then thrusted into her in one fast motion and grinned as she barked.
As Koga went to work and Kagome found herself unable to speak, she did have enough brain power as she was fucked into bliss think about how many, just maybe.. she shouldn't of assumed she could handle a thicker cock with ease.
Half a hour later and Kagome was left a quivering mess on her bed, drooling and eyes glazed over. Koga had given up trying to keep track of the orgasms she'd had compared to his but knew in the long run of things he was technicality the loser of the night, trailing behind Inuyasha and Kagome with a mere 3.
Licking her clean to improve her chances of not getting knocked up (He wasn't one of those prunes who couldn't handle their own flavor) he covered her up and opened a window to help get the sex smell out of the room, then looked over at Inuyasha.
the half demon had conked out early on in the love making, after squirting in his diapers and the stuffie was thankfully out of his grip even if it was damp with drool from Inuyasha making out with it.
'Now what do I do with him?' Koga thought, rubbing his chin, though his still ready for action cock had a answer even as he got dressed.
He had a inkling that it would be nothing but a headache for Kagome and the pup if he left him here like this, curled up on the floor in his diapers.
'I suppose it's my fatherly 'duty' to just take him with me.' Koga thought, smirking as he slowly scooped up the half demon.
There was no shortage of fun he could have with something like this back home, and heck, wasn't he always getting pestered to settle down and raise a cub of his own?
Two birds one stone.
He thought about leaving a note to explain to Kagome that he was taking Inuyasha with him, but then recalled that the chances of her being able to read wolf tribe were slim to none and besides, she was a clever girl.
Slipping out the window as a car was pulling in the driveway, Koga vanished into well with Inuyasha, musing how he had showed up to be a bull, and left a daddy.
The end

I've decided to watch MacGyver from the beginning (again), and I'm live tweeting the experience with every tweet tagged with #savemacgyver. I thought it would be fun to share my collected thoughts from the episodes on here as well.
My Thoughts on S1E2, "Metal Saw"
Seriously love the music in this show!
THE FREAKING BELT GRAB. You can tell they've done this kind of thing before.
I always love it when Jack and Mac have heart-to-hearts in the middle of super intense, dangerous situations. Like... it's sweet, but time and place, guys?
"Hi, I'm Jack." Nervous Jack is bebby.
Ew, sweat. Like, I know it's "realism" to have sweat stains on clothes in situations like these, but that's one bit of realism I can always do without. Gross.
Is that a bit of PTSD I'm seeing with Mac there on the couch? That's a kind of realism I can always get behind.
Riley finding Mac and Boze in that compromising position will never not be funny. "But he was on top." I love Riley more every episode.
Riley is a really good liar from day one.
I love the joke about ex-cons benefiting from being in relationships with stable people (i.e., fake boyfriend Bozer), then the immediate cut to Bozer with his whole arm inside the vending machine. Great stuff.
Love the Riley and Bozer bonding... right up until the cringe-tastic "Slide me your digits."
"Soon, I'm gonna woo you the same way Romeo would have wooed Juliet if they had Snapchat back in the Renaissance." Bozer and his surprisingly accurate pickup lines. The Renaissance did in fact start in Italy around the 14th century, when R&J is thought to take place.
I love all this psychoanalyzing of Mac. "Adapting is his survival mechanism." Also I'm living for Jack sticking up for Mac to Patti.
"This place has been searched by everybody and their dog." Is this a Texas thing or an old guy saying? Either way it's great.
Nothing beats the early days of Mac and Jack. Nothing. I wish we had gotten more interactions where Jack has to parent Mac: "Stop touching that. Look at me." ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø
Jack so concerned about Mac and putting on the kid gloves = everything I could have ever asked for and more.
Jack has such a big heart. Poor guy, the look on his face when he sees that the reporter is actually Sarah...
Paperclip sculptures: When I first started watching the show, I thought they were lame. Now I miss them so much. Does that mean I've gotten lamer or that they were always cool and I was always lame?
"Closest time I ever came to coming home in a box." Oof. This line hits different now, and not in a good way.
I just love how Jack is this big tough ex-Delta who is so open about his emotions, particularly with Mac. And the way Mac reassures him... Their bromance is top-tier.
"Oh, like when they invented fire!" Another zinger.
Mac grabbing that giant cigar right out of that dude's mouth ššš
Love some good fight-scene Mac whump! ššš And bar fights are always a blast!
Riley with the car door - such a boss. "What? You told me to stay in the car, and I did."
I've seen some people say they don't like S1 Mac's hair. I kind of dig it, to be honest. He looks like he's 5, but I love it.
Mac has made a lot of DIY cutting torches in his time, but they never get less impressive.
Jack trusting Mac to save Sarah while he keeps watch is just *chef's kiss*!
These early episodes have so many MacGyverisms. One right after the other. It's awesome.
I've never been a big fan of the dark either, Mac.
The first scene with Mac and Sarah is so beautifully tense and whumpy (he way he scrabbles for purchase, gasps for breath, that hitch in his voice as he tries to squeak out Jack's name) that I had to rewind and watch it again.
The hopeful disbelief in her voice: "Jack Dalton came for me?"
Sarah can kick some serious ass. I can see why Jack likes her. Too bad she's about to lead him on the rest of the episode, while actually having a fiance...
Sarah: *leans out of car, shooting her weapon with deadly, terrifying precision* Riley: I agree, this woman should not have kids. š Everything that comes out of Riley's mouth is gold.
Riley asleep in the back of the car while Mac sits quietly and Jack and Sarah have a sweet moment is like mom and dad with the kids in the backseat. Except mom has a fiance and hasn't told dad yet, even though she's had ample opportunity.
Because seriously, Sarah. It's not that hard to tell him the truth. Giving him those big eyes and flirting with him, thinking he has a chance is just cruel. I have never liked her character, and this is why.
Mac and Jack giggling about Jack's crush on Sarah like middle-school girls is life.
"You're just gonna have to let that go." Man, I love their relationship.
Gosh, the scene where they find Luis always hurts so badly. These early episodes did not play around.
"There isn't always time to beg some suit back home for permission to do what's right." I'm not a fan of Sarah, but I love this line. Also, this is pretty much the synopsis of the whole show.
Riley's hair used to be so LONG! š
The loyalty of these three! And I love the OG trio so much.
This sleazy guy in the computer place makes my skin crawl.
Love how Patti's like, "Mac will be back by then." Not Jack, not Riley. Just Mac. Can we say teacher's pet? I actually lowkey love this though.
"Who is this guy?" Much like Doctor Who's "It's bigger on the inside," I never get tired of people being equally amazed and confused at the stuff Mac can do.
I've never been the biggest car chase junkie, but Barrios jumping over the car using that log in the road is pretty dope.
Sarah's rage is chilling. And Jack talking her down breaks me every time.
Again, I love the loyalty of our team. Everyone sticks up for each other, ending with Mac's totally unbelievable but still somehow 100% genuine "It was me. I forced them." TOO good.
First mention of Oversight this early. Just thinking about who it is that doesn't like unsanctioned ops just makes me š¤ I wonder if the writers knew who OS was at this point or if it was a later development.
I do wish we could have gotten more conspiratorial, approving Patti. She's so much better than expressionless, bland Patti.
The way Sarah never told Jack about her fiance Jeff (who is in fact a cinnamon roll but still a discount Jack) pisses me off. "I tried to tell you." Yeah, right. It's not that hard to say, "Yo, I'm in a relationship."
Jack NEVER should have found out about Jeff the way he did. There's no excuse.
It's not okay, Jack. She did you wrong. You didn't deserve that. Stand up for yourself, man. Gosh, he's so broken here, and I hate it.
"At least we have each other... Don't look at me. I know how weird it sounded." THESE TWO I SWEAR š¤£š¤£š¤£
Poor Mac. I do love how we get his obsessive tendencies so early in the show, and how they keep coming back, even as late as season 5. As someone with clinically diagnosed OCD, this makes me feel seen and I love being able to relate to my favorite character.
Love the found family antics at the end. Riley and Bozer making dinner while Mac and Jack play basketball? Perfection.
Lol, Bozer calling Riley a "caramel goddess" has such Schmidt/Cece vibes from New Girl, and I dig it!
Ew. More sweat. I know some people find sweaty men attractive, but that is NOT my vibe. I prefer my men clean and freshly laundered.
The way Riley glances back over her shoulder at them as she walks away, as if to make sure they're really there, that this is actually real!!!
"That's not even... that's true, actually. That's sad." Jack š¤£ Also, "I'm hungry." Big mood.
As a Grandpa Harry stan from the OG show, I eat up any mention of him in the new one. I just wish we'd gotten more of that wonderful man in the reboot. Still, I'll take what I can get!
I'd honestly forgotten how much I enjoy this episode! So solid, full of bromance, found family, and lots of good-natured bickering. Can't wait to watch the next one, hopefully tomorrow! In the meantime, please keep fighting for our show! Together we can #savemacgyver!
If anyone wants to join me in my re-watching and tweeting adventure, please do! It's my way to take about an hour a day in my busy, busy life to commit to the #savemacgyver movement. (And to enjoy my favorite show yet again!) If you do tweet as you watch, make sure to tag EVERY tweet with ONLY #savemacgyver so we can keep that hashtag trending! :)
Thanks for letting me share my (numerous) thoughts on this episode. This was really fun, and I hope it's something you all enjoy, too. I'd love to know what you all think of the episode in the comments! ā¤ļø

Chapter 3: Trivia
She closed the blinds and made sure for the fifth time the door was locked. Her breath caught in her throat and the fear and adrenaline that had rushed through her body made even Spencer Reid nervous.
"What's going on?"
"This is bad, I didn't realize the consequences of this until it was too late. I am so sorry I got you all tangled up in this mess."
"What are you talking about? What happened?"
"I-" She turned and took a peek through the blinds, ensuring there was no one around. "I did not think things through. I think it's best if you go home, that way you might be spared."
"You are seriously starting to make me nervous, please tell me what's going on, how can I help?"
"There is nothing you can do; I am basically a dead woman."
"Why? Who's after you?"
"Anna Hemingway."
"Your cousin is after you? Did she threaten you or something?"
"No, she didn't have to." She walked towards the bed and sat on the edge, still glancing every now and then, making sure the coast was clear.
After her and Spencer's victory, they had both decided to go to bed, and while the rest of her family insisted on having another dinner dedicated to the couple, they had both decided best to eat and head back to their cabin. He had finished first and decided to head back, and as soon as he was gone, the memory hit her making her mistake obvious. And the main reason she had resorted to a passive competition with the world's worst cousin was clear once again. In a hurry she had returned to their cabin, ensuring she was not being followed, and locked the door, startling the doctor.
"The last time I beat Anna at something was when I twelve. We were both auditioning for the same role in our school musical. They gave me the part." He smiled, truly excited for her accomplishment, as well as happy to learn this new fact about her. "Don't get too peppy. On opening night, at Grandma's celebration for the play, I fell down the stairs."
"What does that have to do with anything?"
"Because, Dr. Spencer Reid, as hard as it is to believe, me falling down the stairs was not due to my immense clumsiness."
"Wait, your cousin pushed you down the stairs?!" He exclaimed, truly horrified. How are children so cute and so evil at the same time?
"More like, she set her foot for me to trip on, but you get the idea." She glanced back at the door and then at the man in front of her. "I was lucky, I didn't break anything, but I have a feeling that might not be the case the next time. I also would prefer not to drown or anything like that."
"But we're federal agents, doing something to you or me would be unwise."
"You're speaking of the girl that tripped me down the stairs and thought that stealing my boyfriend and marrying him was wise."
"I'm gonna double-check the door is locked."
After hours of attempting to stay vigilant, her body had given in and she had fallen asleep. Although Spencer knew the danger, to him it was as simple as closing his eyes. She knew they were trained to deal with a lot of sick people, but he didn't understand the limits his cousin would go to destroy those who she felt wronged by. Although her main target had always been her, she once had basically ended a girl's life by getting her banned from pretty much any respectable college or job position because this one had made fun of her prom dress. Anna Hemingway was one to be cautious with, and they had both just embarrassed her in front of the people whose attention she had snatched years ago. It was worse than she realized.
"Spencer, Spencer." She spoke as she slightly moved him. He growled and moved away from her, attempting to continue his slumber. "Spencer."
"No, let me sleep." He complained.
"Spence, get up, please." After minutes of silence, she devised a new plan. "Spencer!" she screamed, making him jump, falling off the bed and landing between the edge of this first one and the door of the closet. "Oh good, you're awake."
He didn't say a word, for what seemed like centuries, and she wondered if screaming him awake was not the best decision, especially as her next request would not be something he would be inclined to.
"Sorry for that, I just needed you to wake up."
"Is there a fire I don't know about?"
"No, I just thought we could go for a run." There it was, the look Spencer had only given the unsubs he despised the most. She had earned it, but that didn't mean she liked it. "Sorry, I just, Nicole had to leave, and since I have a target on my back and there's safety in numbers... I also didn't want to leave you here alone, and vulnerable. I just felt like, despite your muscles, I am concerned you haven't yet mastered the use of your body."
"I will have you know that by all accounts I definitely know how to use my body. Quite effectively if I do say so myself, and others."
After his words, her mind went to a thought she never imagined having. She wondered if he meant it that way or she was just losing it. "Good, then you can come with me." That sentence following her thoughts was probably not ideal.
"No thank you, you can do it by yourself." She needed to change the direction her thoughts were going; they were definitely not helpful.
"Spencer, please. I am honestly a little terrified, and you should be too."
"Well, I'm not. She isn't worse than any unidentified subject we've dealt with before."
"Oh but she is. She's the worst type of unsub you could think of, but ten times worse."
"What's the worse she could do?"
"Let's not find out."
After whining from him and pleads by her, they both made their way out of the cabin. The shorts he had avoided yesterday were now covering almost nothing as they jogged. This was not a good reminder of their earlier conversation, so she simply focused on something easier: her cousin's imminent revenge. She thought it would come in the form of her accidentally pushing her into the lake, or a repeat of her falling down the stairs. She was even worried this time Spencer would be the victim since he had been the one to embarrass her. Her thoughts were interrupted by deep breaths and a yelp.
"Are you okay?"
"We've been running for hours, how dare you ask me such a question?"
She looked at her watch, "We've been running for exactly three and a half minutes. Actually, we haven't been running, more like jogging."
"How long do you usually do this for?"
"Depends on the day, but from thirty minutes to two hours."
"You need help."
"It won't be as bad, come on."
"You can go on, I am just gonna sit here and have a heart attack real quick."
"How on earth did you pass your physical?"
"I got it waved."
"Cheater."
"If it isn't it the 'it' couple of the weekend!" Suddenly the one having a heart attack was not Spencer, but her. "I didn't know you guys ran together, that's so cute!"
"Yeah, truly the reason I love her," Spencer said, a pinch of sarcasm in his voice.
"How adorable." It's coming, she could feel it. "Anyway, I was thinking, since love seems to be in the air this weekend, why don't we celebrate it by wrapping up the family retreat with a trivia night!"
"What does trivia have to do with love?" She regretted the words as soon as they came out, as Anna looked at her like she might as well be six feet under.
"Silly, the trivia would be about your significant other, of course!"
"Well, that's just-"
"Wonderful, I know!" The blonde smiled, delighted by her idea. "The family has already been briefed and they are all on board, I have started taking in questions and designed the cards, so we'll all meet around the campfire for dinner, and then we'll have trivia night!" She smiled brightly and began to leave, stopping by to appreciate Spencer's figure and palming his behind as she left.
"Did she just-?"
"Yes, yes she did."
"I need a shower."
After both had showered and changed they made their way to grandmas house, alert as to anyone following them. Most of her family had moved on from spying on them, but she knew Anna and Uncle Ernie were not that normal.
"So, what did your grandma do?"
"No one really knows, I mean it had to be good to make her so rich, but by the time my uncle Ernie was born, the eldest, she was already rich enough to sell whatever business she had and become a full-time parent."
"What about your grandpa?"
"He died before I was born."
"Oh."
They sat at the same table he had been at the day before; the chessboard was still in place. She began messing with the pieces, creating the game that always made her win, courtesy of her grandma.
"I didn't know you played."
"I too began at a very young age. I haven't really played since grandma died; she was my game partner. The only one that treated me like I was a human being." She sat down, remembering the hours she spent here when Nicole wasn't around, and everyone pretty much ignored her. "She was the only one that ever consoled me for losing my dad. Losing her was just one more box to check."
"I am sorry for your loss." He placed a hand on her shoulder and squeezed it gently, hoping to convey his sympathy.
"Yeah well, by how calm Anna looks right now I guess it won't be long before I join her, so we don't have to worry about that anymore."
He rolled his eyes, a smile tugging at his lips. "So, what should we expect during this trivia night?"
"To lose, that's our safest bet."
"I don't really do losing."
"And all I do is lose, so I will be your guide this time."
The family had made their way inside, their excitement overflowing the room. She couldn't help but wish she could simply run for the hills. She knew the chances of them winning were null, because a) she needed to lose and b) Spencer and her hadn't known each other, really known each other long enough to be able to answer these questions. She wondered if that was the plan all along, that Anna somehow had found out about their lie and was using this as a means to expose it.
"Okay everybody, let's get started." Said, uncle Ernie. He wore the same clothes as their first day here. "Let us start with the competition. Since we have the newlyweds as well as the new couple in the family, I think they should make the honors."
She looked at Spencer and he smiled at her, she leaned closed and whispered. "Remember, to ease the monster, we need to lose, which shouldn't be hard, we're not even a real couple, there is no way we know enough about each other, right?"
He nodded and they both moved to the sofa that was designated as their spot, her uncle who now apparently served as the show host, handed Spencer and Tyler a buzzer, explaining whichever sounded first would get to answer the question. She mentally prepared herself, hoping she could answer enough questions to not raise suspicion but not enough to win the game, what a grand world that would be.
"Ready everybody?" everyone cheered in approval and she prepared herself. "This round is for the guys, once we finish you will pass the buzzer to your partner and at the end, we will have one round where either of you can answer. Now, the first question, what is your partner's Starbucks order?"
Spencer's buzzer went off as Tyler attempted to recall the memory. "It depends on the season. During winter and for as long as she can get it, it will be a Grande Peppermint Hot Chocolate, during the summer it will be no-coffee Double chocolate chip cookie crumble Grande Frappuccino with extra whipped cream, and no straw." She looked at him completely taken aback by his answer, how specific it was, and the fact that he knew she was a seasonal drinks person.
"Yeah, that's it." She spoke.
"Point for team FBI!" Her uncle cheered. "Next question, what is your partner's favorite color?"
His buzzer went off and the doctor spoke again, "Blue."
Ten questions later the scoreboard was 8-2, Spencer's lead, and the two questions he hadn't answered were because he decided that would be enough to lose. She didn't understand how he knew these things, or the fact that she knew what her answer for him would be, but what she did know, was that she had to be really bad in order to allow Anna to take the lead back, what she wasn't sure about anymore, was whether she wanted to let her cousin win.
"Ladies, you're up." Spencer handed her the buzzer and she smiled at him. "First question, how does your partner drink his coffee."
"That's easy. He doesn't drink coffee." She said soon after her buzzer went off. "He drinks sugar with a side of coffee, no creamer. Eighty percent sugar, twenty percent coffee."
"That is so mean to say! But it's true." Spencer agreed.
"How are you a doctor and drink so much sugar?"
"Not that kind of doctor." He clarified to the man.
"I have no idea what that means! Next question, what is the thing your partner is most proud of?"
"His job. Spencer loves helping people and using his knowledge to reunite families, he's the bravest guy I know." She smiled at him and he returned the gesture.
It was no surprise Anna was not content with the results, as the end was a 23-4 in favor of Spencer and her. As soon as the game was finished she knew that she had basically carved her own grave.
"That is not fair, they are not even really dating!" Her cousin screamed, "it's all a lie!"
"What?"
"Yeah, I know your little secret, I overheard you and Nicole talking about how Spencer was not really your boyfriend and how he didn't actually have dyslexia!"
"I-" She didn't know what to say, how had she not seen her? How could she let this happen?
"First of all, I think it is very inconsiderate of you to suggest that my dyslexia is not real. I have fought so hard for such a long time to ensure my condition didn't prevent me from succeeding, going as far as getting a Ph.D. in mathematics, for someone to simply come and question my hard work." Spencer said, seemingly very upset. "Second of all, this woman right here is the best thing that ever happened to me, and I will not sit here and tolerate you calling her a liar. We are in love with each other, and you as her cousin should be happy about it. Yet you seem so upset about her finding someone, it seems to me you're jealous, but what do I know, it's not like I can understand human behavior or anything. Oh, wait." He said, he took her hand and pulled her as close to him as she could. "Just leave my girlfriend alone, you took her sloppy second and married him, so what more can you want from her?"
The room fell silent, everyone eyed Spencer and Anna, trying to grasp what had just happened. "You and I both know you're lying, you two are not a real couple, you are just trying to ruin this weekend for me."
"Really, not a real couple? Then how did we end up destroying you at trivia? You made the questions Anna, I had no idea what was on them, you did. And I am not the one wearing a wedding ring. So my question is, how do you marry someone without knowing their proudest moment, or their Starbucks order?"
"Well, how come no one has ever seen you two kiss? You can learn facts about each other but that doesn't really make you a couple."
"You want to see a kiss? Fine." She turned and pulled Spencer's lips to hers. She let herself enjoy the moment, really enjoy Spencer's kissing skills, not because she wanted to or anything, but rather because that is how she should kiss him, there was no way anyone would have any doubt about them if the kiss looked authentic. Which it did, it also might have felt a little more authentic than it should but now was no the time to dwell on that.
Spencer kissed her back, creating an atmosphere in which her cousin's word didn't matter any longer, in which the humiliation her family had put her through was nothing worth thinking of, and the fact that both of them had such deep knowledge about each other only fueled it, melting her a little in her spot, she felt his teeth on her lower lip applying slight pressure and she couldn't help but wish they were by themselves right then and there.
"We get it! You guys want to take your clothes off, now please stop." Tyler's voice echoed, and the two doctors left each other's lips reluctantly, looking at him. "Now, can we please move on?"
"No! Not until they admit they are not really dating, and all this was a plot to humiliate me!" Anna screamed.
"You know what? I am not going to stand here and tolerate this behavior any longer. Bitchy Anna, you can whine all you want, but that will not change that I am with a man I love, and that loves me. I have let this family make me feel like less for long enough and I am done doing so. You can all go fuck yourselves because I am done with each and every single one of you. You allowed this crazy brat to humiliate me and treat me like I was less for long enough. Let's go home, Spencer." She grabbed him by the hand and exited the house, giving her family the middle finger before she banged the door. She walked to their cabin and gathered her stuff, him following suit. As soon as they were in the car and far enough away, she pulled over and sighed, coming down from her adrenaline rush.
"In the wise words of Penelope Garcia, that was hot," Spencer said.
"What was?"
"Everything." They laughed for a couple of minutes, the scene she had just created replaying in her mind. "I am so proud of you."
"Why? Because I gave my uncle Ernie the middle finger?"
"Because you stood up for yourself."
"Yeah, well even if she was right, I tend to get a little too angry when people call me a liar or get in my way."
"Yeah, I know." He chuckled, "How did it go, oh yes, 'Nu-uh bruh, I know you didn't just interrupt me mid-sentence.' And then you commented how a man who wore sweaters in the middle of July was not going to cut you off."
"I am so sorry about that; I was just so used to being cut off I didn't want it to be a thing at work."
"It's okay, I understand. I began cutting people off because that's what most people did to me when I spoke."
"Well, that's dumb. I love hearing your facts, you have all this knowledge, and you chose to share it, people should be grateful for it."
"Thank you, I appreciate that." He smiled, "Speaking of facts, our chances of getting murdered will increase by the minute if we continue to sit on the side of the road."
"Right, forgot about that!" She turned the car back on. "Let's go home, Spencer." As his apartment complex became clear, she slowed down, making a stop right in front of it. "Thank you for coming with me this weekend, I really appreciate it."
"No problem, that's what friends are for." Before he moved to get out of the car, she planted a quick kiss on his cheek. "What was that for?"
"For being the best fake boyfriend and real friend a girl could ask for." She smiled at him, so grateful for his existence. "I will see you tomorrow morning at 5:45 am sharp. Goodnight Spencer."
"Goodnight. See you tomorrow." He opened the door and walked out, waving to her before he entered his building. She sat there for a couple of minutes, taking in the past weekend. She knew her mother wouldn't let her get away with her actions, but right now that didn't matter, Spencer Reid had told her he was proud of her, he had even used the term hot which in itself was hot because she never even imagined he used that type of vocabulary.
Regardless, she stood up for herself, she let Anna have it, and Spencer was proud of her. It seemed like a win-win. She drove home, a smile on her face.

Not Just a Monster
Warning: blood, violence, death
22: Outside Invaders Pt2
There was a lot of them, I kept hiding behind Corners, closets every time they came. Holding big guns walking like they were high a superior. With tattoos all over their faces smirking.
It made me want to punch them. As they walked past me without a second glance I waited until they were fully gone so I could continue to go forward.
I'm guessing their leader Jeung-Seop had the group. All in one room gathered up, those bitches were going to pay. Making my way down I heard more footsteps coming my way.
I hid again crouching down, I saw them turn a corner thinking it was one of them but to my surprise it was Sang-Wook. I immediately got up this must-have startled him because he pointed the gun right at me.
I put my hands up, " don't shot it's just me, Soo-Nico!" He seemed to notice lowering the gun down, I sighed in relief. " you okay?" He asked, he must have seen the blood on me. " A little roughed up but I'm fine."
I assured, I wondered if there was anyone else with him. " is it just you?" He nodded, " yeah, I picked up one of their guns." I couldn't tell what type it was I wasn't an expert.
" I noticed, but we should stop the small talk before we get caught." Sang-Wook agreed with me we Couldn't risk being heard. We needed to same the others But luck wasn't on our side.
Two men, one heavy set the other skinny approached pointing their loaded guns at us. " yeah, the little lady is right but it's too late for that sweet cheeks," the guy with the fat guy catcalled.
I Mentally puked in my mouth, gripping my weapon I want to slash his face in. But Sang-Wook got in front of me pointing his gun at each of them.
It was much larger than there's, they started to back away. But the guy on the left smirk. " you don't know how to use that do you?" He was looking at the safety on the gun. " no, I do not," before I time to think about what he said the other guys tried to shot at us.
But Sang-Wook knocked the one on the left with the gun slamming him against the wall so hard it knocked him out or he was probably dead from the blow.
The other one was running towards me picking up a small gun he had charged at me, but I brought up my weapon that was a thick wooden stick that was from a broken chair.
We were pushing against one another but I ended up shoving him to the wired fence wall. I knee him in the nuts using so much force he dropped to the ground along with his weapon. I grabbed him by By the collar of his jacket and slung him as he skidded through the floor.
I was surprised by how much strength I had. But he was quick to grab a small ax, getting ready to throw it someone else came running through I was so glad when it was Yi-Kyung.
She kicked him in the nuts too, getting him in a chokehold snapping his neck. Throwing him down to the ground. Sang-Wook seemed a little shocked.
I stared in amazement, " thought you were a fighter?" He questioned. " I used to be in the special forces. How did you find the rifle?" So that's what it was?
" I saw you hiding it." He tossed it to her. As she easily caught it checking out the gun As Sang-Wook picked up the guy's ax. It wasn't a little bit after we left searching for others that might hide.
As we came into one of the storage rooms, there was a small voice. Lookup to the vents we saw Yeong-su, my eyes widened his sister must be with the others. I hurried and claimed on top of a table opening the vent.
" Come here." I motioned with my hands for him to come to me, he looked kinda scared. But he crawled over towards me wrapping his small arms around my neck. I brought him down.
" Why did you go in there?" I wondered, how could he get up there by himself? He glanced down. " Well, my mission was to stay hidden. But I saw Yi-Kyung She's a secret agent, too... And grandpa wasn't coming. so I got scared."
He looked down sad, but I just smiled and ruffled his hair. " don't worry about grandpa, I but he's just fine." I didn't want to give him false hope. Gil-Seob was stronger than he looked.
But there was a rattling noise we all were startled by looking up in the event there was green slime. I saw it before when I was trapped in the spiderweb. It helped me. Yi-Kyung raised her gun but Yeong-Su tugged at their jackets crying out.
" Nooo, don't hurt it, it saved me!" He cried, they were still hesitant. So I spoke up. " it saved me to when I was trapped in the spiderweb it's good to trust us." I Clarified.
This made the boy smile
Yi-Kyung and Sang-Wook glanced at each other then lowered their weapons. " I'm holding you to that." Yi-Kyung confronted me, I wasn't even questioning it because she was just being cautious.
I didn't blame her, but it was the humans we had to worry about not Necessarily the monsters.Ā "all alright, if we Wait any longer more people will die." Yi-Kyung peeked behind a corner. " what's your plan?"
She turned back around to us leaning on the wall. " you can't shot a gun but can y'all at least?" She questioned Sang-Wook he was sitting down but nodded, "I'm usually the one chasing." He gave a forward answer.
" well let's hope you're fast. You're not alone anymore." She then turned to me. " Soo-Nico, you can use a gun can you?" I quickly shook my head. " No, but I can fight." She seemed okay wimpy answer.
" you and I will go in first we will Distract them, leading them away from the others. So they'll be able to get away we go in fast and don't hesitate to kill one of them. God knows they don't."
She was right, one tried to rape Ji-Su and the gunshots we heard could have been one of the group members. They were going to pay and big time. The two of us left while Sang-Wook stayed behind with Yeong-su, he didn't need to be in the middle of the crossfire.
Running down the hallway at full speed I was holding one of the guns, but only to hit them with. You-Kyung would do the shooting. As we neared the elevators there was a guy standing guard in front but his back was facing us.
Yi-Kyung raised her gun a fired it blood shot out of him as he fell to the floor with a loud thud. There were even gasp and screams. They must be holding them there captive.
I was nervous but I swallowed it knowing they needed saving right now I couldn't let my fears control me. We ran in as men came towards us. Gripping the end of my gun. I smashed it against one of the guys' heads.
Hearing a crack, I kicked him to the floor. My chest heaving up and down, I wasn't going to stop yet. As I saw the group they were all gathered around looking terrified. Except for Hyun-Su when he saw me I could have sworn relief had washed over his face.
I was glad he was alright, I wanted to run to him and hug him but I couldn't. I was still fighting men dodging them from every turn. Soon enough Eun-Hyuk yelled out to Hyun-Su he got up and punched a guy in the face Shoving him down.
I then noticed a guy was trying to come up behind but before I could hit him Hyun-Su was already there with a wheelchair he ran over him with it that tried to shoot me. I saw anger in Hyun-Su eyes, I was most certainly they would turn black.
His jaw was clenched, so tightly I could see his bone. Like he was going to rip one of the guys' heads off any minute now. He was so enraged as he picked up a gun, he rammed into someone with it against their neck.
I noticed the guy pulled out a knife, about to stab Hyun-Su I yelled out warning him. But as so as I did there was a loud gunshot and I felt something Pierce me from the back and go through my chest.
I was stunned for a minute as I began to scream. My mind went fuzzy as my white shirt was immediately staining red. I realized I had been hit. I wobble a little glance up Hyun-Su's face was in full Terror.
His mouth and eyes wide open, I couldn't breathe my vision blurred in and out as I fell to the floor. Trying to catch my breath I was gasping as I coughed up blood. My lungs were feeling up I felt it, it was like I was drowning in my own body.
My eyes shifted to the floor leaving Hyun-Su he was calling out my name in crys. He tried to run to me, he looked scared, as I saw tears drip down on his cheeks. He began to scream my name.
But the leader yelled out stop, it got quiet except for Hyun-Su's soft cries. I heard footsteps. I sounded like they were coming my way. My shaky face looked up it was the leader.
He smiled evilly at me, " it would be more fun to kill you and get it over with but watching to struggle is well you know is fun enough." He laughed kicking me aside so hard I gasped, feeling my ribs ache in pain.
" Don't fucking touch her!!"
He turned over to Hyun-Su who said it. " what do you mean this?" I felt another blow but this time he stomped onto my chest as I spit out more blood on the floor. " Stopā" I tried to talk but all that came out was more blood.
" awe, the poor thing can't even speak to her boyfriend without having trouble." He teased, that's when I felt someone grab a head full of my hair pulling me up. The person jerked my head back.
I hissed, " I'll let you say goodbye to your sweetheart just for a show performance." That when he pushed me towards Hyun-Su, my face was shoved into his stomach but he wrapped his arms around me. Holding me gently in his embrace.
I felt him slide to the floor, as my body got between his legs. He cradled my left side, pulling me closer to him as much as possible. " I'm hereāI got you... I'm here!" His lips were placed on my forehead I could feel his tears tickle my face.
He was mumbling stuff but it was getting harder and harder to hear. " It... it hurts." I cried as I held on to his shirt. He rubbed my head, as his fingers ran through my hair. " it's alright, try to focus on something else." He said it to me but I could tell he was meaning himself too.
" Hyunā Hyun-Su is it alright if- if I kiss you?" I whispered weakly, not sure if he heard me. But If this was it then I wanted us to end in a goodie memory.
My head was on his chest, his heartbeat was speeding up. " is that the goodbye?" I gradually nodded. He was still crying. There was no other way to say it but that. Then Hyun-Su's hand slowly slid against my neck, as his fingers support the back of my head his thumb creased my cheek.
He leaned down a pressed his lips to mine. Still rough and chapped more than ever, I didn't care if anyone was watching. He deepened the kiss, " please stay with me PLEASE!" He murmured into my lips as we pulled away but he kept pecking at them.
As if it would somehow save me but I soon began to feel myself go limp. My eyelids were getting heavy, I tried so hard to keep them open but the dark vast sea of sleep was weighing down on me. " Hey! Stay awake Soo-Nico Stay awake!" Hyun-Su shook me pleading but I felt sleepier than ever.
" Don't do this, God! Please stay with me!" He kissed me again and again. But I didn't feel it I cried because I couldn't. " I'm sorry Hyunā" I could feel that being my last breath when I finally closed my eyes for the last time in his arms.

Some hot shot part 2
This is the last part for this part.Ā
Warnings: slight swearing and sass. Also a slap on the face for an ex bf!
Enjoy xx
The week passed quickly. You showed Rafael around town and all your favourite spots. Even having a quickie in a field on the out skirts of town where you always used to go paddock bashing and drinking on Saturday nights in high school.Ā
Wendy reminded Gwen of the conversation she had with you on the way home from her Henās Night. She was so embarrassed and messaged the next day to say Sorry.
"Yeah she is with Rafael Barba, you know that ADA that's always on the News. And she looks amazing, New York agrees with her. She said SVU is amazing to work in." Wendy gloated to Jeff and Rodger during brunch.Ā
She saw Rodger ball is hands into fits and his face go red. She didn't like Rodger, he was always rude and nasty. She loved rubbing this in his face.
****
You had to be at Gwen's parents place at 7am for hair and makeup, the ceremony was at 12 noon at Jeff's parentās property. Rafael dropped you off.
"Can't wait to see you mi Hermosa, youāre going to look amazing" you lent over and kissed him
"Bye Rafi, see you later"
You walked up to the door and knocked. Gwen's Dad answered,
"Here's my girl" Gwenās Dad smiled down at you.
"Hey Pa" he grabbed you and pulled you in for a big bear hug. "I've missed you."
"Same here darlinā, not the same not having you around"
"Is that my big New Yorker" Gwen's Mum came walking towards you and pulled you in for a hug, kissing your cheek over and over again
"Hey Mamma, it's great to see you. Missed you"
"Missed you Mrs ADA" you giggled and turned red.
----
"You ready?" You held Gwen's hand. āYou look beautiful G"
"Thank you for being here, it wouldn't be the same without you and that dress is amazing" you lent into each other and hugged.
"Itās time" Gwen's Dad said.
You all walked out of the sun room at the side of Jeff's parents place. You could see Rafael and your Mum sitting in seats in the back row whispering and giggling with each other. You walked to the edge of the white carpet that lead to the alter and waited for the music to start.
You walked down the aisle just looking directly ahead, Jeff gave you a big warm smile, but Rodger gave you a dirty look. As you got to the alter Jeff walked to you and gave you a hug, and lead you to your place on the other side of the celebrant. The song changed everyone stood up for Gwen to walk down. Rafael caught your eye, and mouthed, "You look amazing" and you gave him a wink.
He could not get over how beautiful you looked. You had a blush pink mermaid style boob tube floor length gown on with sliver sandals. The dress wrapped around your curves. He had to thank Amanda for helping you pick that dress. You had sliver tear drop earrings, your heart necklace that he gave you and a sliver bangle, holding a bunch of white poise. Your hair was pulled back in a beautiful low pony tail style with the curls hair running down your back.
"She looks beautiful" your Mum lent over to him looking at you.
"Youāre telling me" she laughed at him.
"You may kiss the bride" everyone stood up and cheered, blowing bubbles. Gwen grabbed her flowers off you and started to walk up the aisle holding Jeff's hand. Rodger followed them, not even waiting for you.
You walked over to Rafael and youāre Mum,
"Not a very good partner is he" your Mum said as you kissed her on the cheek. "You look amazing sweetie"
You stepped in front of Rafael who put both hands on your hips and pulled you in for a kiss.
"Wow Hermosa." He nodded looking you up and down.
"Y/N, Gwen needs you for photos" Wendy called out.
"I'll see you guys later" you kissed Rafael and walked to find them.
----
"I' am not having a photo with her" Rodger snarled looking down at you.
"Are you kidding me right now?" Gwen snapped back and he turned and walked away.
"You guys have your photos, they are more important" you walked off to follow Rodger
"What the Fuck is your problem Rodger!"
----
Rafael and your mum were having a great time. She as introducing him to everyone. Even Rodgers parents who were very nice to him and made some small talk. He also met Gwen's Mum and Dad.
"You make sure you look after my girl. She is special that on" Gwenās Dad elbowed Rafaelās arm smiling at him.
"She sure is, I will" Rafael smiled back.
Wendy walked up to them her cheeks flushed,Ā
"Ah Hey, excuse me Rafael, can you come with for me minute?"
"Yes sure, excuse me" Rafael looked between everyone.
Wendy harried off and he followed her trying to catch up. Wendy made her way around to the back of the house, he came up behind her as she stopped in her tracks.
"What's going-?ā Rafael had a frown on his face.
There you were, Rodger was standing over you, you stepped back and slapped him across the face hard. Rafael gasped and speed past Wendy to go to you.
----
"What's my problem? WHATS MY PROBLEM?"
"DO NOT YELL AT ME" You looked up at Rodger.
"OH you have balls now do you? At least New York is good for something"
"STOP your petty shit Rodger! You want to ruin your best friendās wedding because you can't put everything aside for one fucking day"
āI haven't ruined my best friendās day, you have" he stepped forward standing over you looking down at you "By being here. You should have stayed away. You come back like some big hot shot detective dating some old ADA ass hole. You must of developed daddy issues since you left, dating someone that much older than you" Rodger spat at you.
You stepped back, threw your hand back and planted it right on his left check putting your whole body behind it.
"YOU BITCH! I'll have your badge for that"
"I'd like to see you try" Rafael was standing next to you.
"OH look Daddy, or should I say Grandpa, has come to save you"
You went to slap his face again, but Rafael stood in front of you, pushing you back slightly.
"I may be old, but I bet you never made her scream like I do" Rafael snarled at him.
****
Monday morning you walked into the bullpen. You didn't run with Amanda that morning, but you promised you would the rest of the week. You were the last one to arrive before Liv, you said good morning to everyone and sat at your desk.
"How was your week away, how was the wedding? Loved the photoās" Amanda asked, Nick and Fin were waiting for your answer.
"The week was good, the wedding well--I slapped my ex in the face"
"No you did not" Amanda said back excited, Nick and Fin laughed.
"What happened?" Nicked asked
You told them what happened, even what Rafael had said back to him.
"Wow, Go Barba" Fin praised him smiling to himself.
Just then, Liv walked through the door,Ā
"Y/N, my office NOW"
You walked in following her and closed the door behind you.
"Who's Rodger?" Liv looked over at you from behind her desk one eye brow raised.
"My ex-boyfriend" your hands started to sweat.
"The ex you slapped across the face on the weekend" you went red āWhat were you thinking? Youāre better than that." Liv huffed at you.
"I āam so sorry Livā You said just above a whisper.
"What happened?" Liv said as she sat down on her chair.
You told her what happened and why he acted like it. Although you left out what Rafael said. You and Liv were friends, but she was your boss and that would be an over share.
"So it's all jealousy?" Liv sat back in her chair.
"Yeah pretty much. I'm sorry Liv, he got to nasty, and I couldn't control myself"
"I know, I know, he deserved it in my eyes. But you can't go around slapping people because they say things you don't like, your a detective, you donāt want to get on the wrong side of Dodds or Tucker. I talked him out of lodging a complaint with 1PP. But I promised him I would punish you. So youāre on desk duty for the this week"
"Ok, I'm sorry again Liv" You turned on your heels with your tail between your legs walking back out to your desk.
"You alright?" Nick asked
"The prick called Liv and dobbed me in. He wanted to go to 1PP but she talked him out of it. She promised she would punish me, so I'm on desk duty this week" you rolled your eyes.Ā āPrickā
"He rang your boss over a slap on the face?" Amanda asked, amused.
"It was probably what Barba said, not the slap. Men being told that, it cuts deep" Nick laughed
----
Rafael was working late that night and you were in a horrible mood, you hated desk duty, so you decided to pick up dinner and go to the office. You knocked and walked in,
"Mi Hermosa, how was yo- are you ok?" You were red faced and frowning. You walked over to him handing him the paper bag which he sat on his desk.
"No, I'm pissed" you spat out.
"What's happened?"
"Liv got a phone call this morning, from Rodger" he raised his eye brows at you.
"He made a complaint about me slapping him over the weekend. Liv had to talk him out of making a complaint to 1PP, but she promised to punish me. So I'm desk duty for the rest of the week" you said through gritted teeth.Ā
He snorted and tried to hold back a smile the best he could.
"He complained about a slap?" Rafael finally laughed as you nodded back to him.
"Itās NOT funny Rafi" you snapped back.
"I āam sorry, but it is funny. He wanted to make Chief, but he complained about being slapped because what, he's an asshole?"
"That's not the point, Liv is pissed at me"
"She will get over it mi Hermosa" He walked closer to you pulling you for hug kissing down one side of your neck. āHere let Abuelo make it all betterā

I feel like showing off my vinyl collection, feel free to show me yours!
I'm an avid 70s/80s/90s collector, and deeply wish I could've been alive for all of that, most of my vinyls are 70s/80s, some older, some newer. Some are 100% vintage, others are newly made/released. My dad (who brought me up on literally everything 70s and 80s) got me a record player for Christmas and helped me start my collection, since then it's grown rapidly.
First I must show off my RDR2 vinyls, with Marty Robbins' "Gunfighter Ballads", his songs are perfect to listen to while playing RDR2, "Big Iron" being one of my favorites.
Dad got me all 3 of my Queen albums for Christmas, as he knows that Queen is perhaps my favorite band of all time, I've been trying to find vintage vinyls of their albums rather than the newly remade ones, haven't had much luck yet but we will get there. :)
Did I mention that my dad and I are diehard Gordon Lightfoot fans? "Summertime Dream" and "Sundown" are perhaps my favorite albums. Lightfoot's song "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" holds a special place in my heart. While the song is based off of a true story, about the tragic sinking of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald on Lake Superior, this song has a deeper connection with me. My dad, my Uncle Rob, and my Uncle Rodney, they loved this song so much, they would sit and listen to it on repeat for hours and hours mesmerized by the story that it told, along with Lightfoot's iconic voice, and the instruments itself. This was their group song essentially. Unfortunately, on July 25, 2019 (a year ago this coming Saturday), my Uncle Rodney lost his battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), he was only 49 years old, a year younger than my dad. It was something we would never expect happen to any of us, let alone him. Uncle Rodney went out of his way for everyone, he'd help everyone whenever he could and would never ask for or expect anything in return. He put his family first, he loved and cared for his kids the best he could, he worked his ass off hand crafting furniture out of cedar wood, and adding onto his home and designing it just the way a true country boy could ever want it, he was dedicated to his job, his family, and his friends. Hard to believe it will be a whole year this weekend, not a day goes by where I don't think about him, he was like a second dad to me, and I greatly wished that I'd had more time with him, especially hugs, he gave the best hugs.
However he'd want me to carry on and continue to be happy, and it was hard the first few months after he passed, I went into a depression spell, and starting coming out of it in February, and then I met the man who is now my boyfriend. I don't know if it was just coincidence, or if Uncle Rodney had a hand in all of it, but I shit you not, my boyfriend reminds me so much of him, including my dad. My family absolutely loves him and has taken him in already, and I've never been this happy. But alas, this isn't supposed to be my life's story, but some of these records mean so much to me, and Lightfoot's records will forever hold a special place in my heart, for the very sole reason you just read about.
Moving on! These are some great records I found on a clearance rack at a record store, all under $5 a piece! My grandpa is a huge John Denver fan, so he very much appreciates it when he stops by our house and hears me blasting that album from my room haha. My boyfriend loves The Oak Ridge Boys, and let me tell you, he can sing the oom poppa mow mows in the song "Elvira" perfectly, and I melt everytime haha. Rosanne Cash, her music gets played constantly whenever we are having a party at my Uncle Rob's house, so when I hear her voice, it makes me want to go down there and have a great time. The Outlaws, I only recently discovered them but I really enjoy this album in particular, "You Are the Show" is perhaps my favorite song on the album, I sing this one a lot no matter how terrible I may be at it, I can't help it lol.
Ah yes, more classics. My dad really enjoys when I decide to blast my CCR album (a birthday present from my boyfriend). "Fortunate Son" is probably my dad's favorite CCR song, and it is definitely his theme song. Boston and Molly Hatchet are two of my other favorites for sure, including Chicago, it has been awhile since I listened to them, but they sure are fun.
Oh these three here I love talking about. I mean, who doesn't love Footloose and Dirty Dancing? The Footloose record is vintage, the Dirty Dancing one is a newly released version, but I ended up buying it anyways as the record itself is that purple color of awesomeness. The Quiet Riot one I found at an antique store, my favorite album of theirs, and because it's a picture vinyl, I had to have it. It looks kickass watching it on the record player.
Any Fleetwood Mac fans? My witchy sisters, this is our music. I can actually sing Stevie Nicks pretty decently, my boyfriend absolutely loves it when I do. "Tango in the Night" is my favorite Fleetwood Mac album, I listen to this record religiously. Once I listened to it on repeat for about 3 days straight, and my dad eventually had to tell me to switch to a different record because he was ready to hear some other great music š The song "Twisted" which Stevie sang with Lindsey Buckingham, was part of the 1996 movie "Twister" with Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt. My favorite movie, and my favorite Stevie Nicks song, might I also mention that I'm a weather nut and also studying for a degree in meteorology? Yeah, I also chase tornadoes, hence why "Twister" is my favorite movie.
And last but not least, these two little guys. Tiƫsto is perhaps my favorite DJ of all time, his classic hits and even the new ones, always give me such a vibe that is so enjoyable. My favorite mix of his? "Silence" by Delerium with Sarah Maclachlan, this was one of Tiƫsto's "In Search of Sunrise" mixes, and I still get absolute chills hearing it.
Oh yes, I forgot to add, a bunch of the vintage vinyls I bought, I got at Guestroom Records in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma while I was there back in May. They have a giant clearance section with records under $5, and of course they have all the newly released music, and even full collection sets. My favorite part? They also have a beautiful kitty cat that lives at the store and he/she is such a lovely kitty. So if you're in OKC and wanna buy some vinyls? This is your place.
So that's all of my vinyls I have so far! I hope you enjoyed seeing my collection, and reading about why they mean so much to me, I hope I didn't bore you too much with them haha. Again, feel free to show me some of yours! Tell me why they mean so much to you! :)

It was going to happen either way (All Might x Reader) Chapter 1/5
I have a few things to. say: I wrote this story last year (2018) because I was feeling down, I just remembered that it existed in my note app. A few songs were inspired, I will linked them down below, just beware that they are in Spanish, which is why I provided the english lyrics.
~~~
Your dream became a reality.
You became the number 1 musician in the world, with tickets being sold out every time you had a concert to sing at. Your quirk was Empathy, and you used your quirk with the music you made. Being a hero was something you always wanted to be, inspired by the all mighty All Might. Something about him made you happy and his warming grin was it.
But you failed, not having a powerful quirk you knew that you were destined to become a hero but it didn't come to you what until you listened to music. When you were happy, you listened to the music but when you were sad, you listened to the lyrics and it was so weird how music could do that to you, in relating to the music, feeling the emotions.
At age 17, you were given a guitar by your grandpa who was a less popular guitarist and he taught you how to play
In the family reunions, you sang for your family. You let the strumming of your guitar and the lyrics reached into their hearts and understand your message. If it was a happy song, they would get happy. If it was sad, they would get sad. It was a way for you to show your realism ideology to people and you were discovered by a music agency. You were in a hero program, not U.A. because of your lack of combat skills but a program to gain knowledge of heroism. You didn't mind it wasn't U.A. but it was a longshot. You worked hard to graduate with honors and to work in the music agency. You met Present Mic there because of his Mic quirk and you were just intrigued of it. The agency was a hero agency but it also provided music production. You met a lot of people who had instrumental quirks, like a Bass Drum that used his belly to produce the ugliest and the most beautiful bong. The ugliest cause villains to be in pain in their ear drum, the beautiful part was used in the band.
You were the only one that did not have an instrumental quirk but the first one to use your quirk in music that can help people.
In the recording booth, you sat on the chair and when signaled, began singing:
If only you had told me
The truth always
If only you responded to my calls
If only you loved me when I loved you
You would've been in my dreams as the best man
If you didn't know how to love, now is the time to march!
If only you had known what I suffered for you
Having to forget you without knowing why
And now you call, you want to see me
You vowed you changed and think of returning.
Get away from me, there's nothing left to talk about.
With you I lost, now I have someone to win.
And that, was the start of your music career.
The women and even men understood your music, the breakups that lead to crying only made them stronger in finding relationships. Girls would send you fan-mail about them forgetting their ex and finding someone who truly change their life for better and you would respond. That was when your fans were from 200 to 300.
Now, you would send videos of your respond as you read comments from your phone along with your boyfriend (named Hiroki Tsuki, who was number 2 in music), thanking them and responding to the questions. You were kind-hearted, emotional, sympathetic and golden-hearted. With his popularity, you went up to rank 3 but you didn't care since you were blinded by the love you received from him, when you alone and out in public.
In the interviews, you were asked who inspired you to go to the music industry and you responded with:
"I've always wanted to be a hero, and it was every hero that would push me further into having some kind of cool quirk, saving people, making sure they have the best life they can enjoy. But one hero in specific gave me that hope to continue...All Might. When I was given the results and rejected by U.A., I didn't let it affect me, because All Might's smile...he, in some way was giving me this sense of "Don't give up, there's something for you, you just have to search for it"."
You sounded so dreamily, as if he was your prince charming and you were 20 when you gave that answer.
In another interview, you were surprised to see All Might walk out of the curtains in his hero costume. In person, he was incredibly handsome, and the smile you admired for so many years, was bright with hope.
The host of the show made you two play a game after the interview to give entertainment for the audience. The premise here is simple. You square off against a friend in a game of blackjack. The person who loses each hand gets, well, a hand ā to the face. And, really, what's more fun than slapping someone with giant prosthetic digits? Playing with All Might who was the inspiration of the giant, foamy hands was a lot of fun and you two were enjoying the game more than expected. He would laugh so heartedly when you had to place the giant hand on his face and you stifled your laughs every time he did it to you.
After it was over, you were inspired to write a song, called "Give you a Kiss." that left people with pleads and theories that you two were dating and your boyfriend jealous.
The lyrics that made so many "(All Might x y/n ship-name)" fans born and take over the internet was:
"To love you how I love you is complicated
Thinking how I think of you is a sin
To look at you like I do is prohibited
Touch you how I want to is a crime
Now I don't know what to do
For you to be okay
To turn off the sun to light up your smile
Speak in Portuguese
Learn to talk French
Or bring the moon to your feet
I only want to give you a kiss
And give you my mornings
Sing to calm your fears
I want you to not miss a thing."
When that was published, you were ranked number 1 from fans' support and the music productions.
That was also when hell was at your doorstep. You were eating with your boyfriend in a restaurant, you peacefully and he was tensed. You noticed but you didn't want to ask, he was like this for a long time and you were afraid of him hurting you with words. You gulped softly and risked it all, just so you can get it out of the way, "What's wrong, Tsuki?"
You sounded so calm, you wanted to let him know that you wanted to talk about it and he took it the wrong way. Even your quirk didn't work on him. He was too prideful and too angry, his emotions controlled him.
The next thing you didn't expect and it felt like it was going slow when you saw him push the table away, causing many gasps and screams to appear. You sat there, in shock and you saw a beast right across you.
"YOURE CHEATING ON ME ARENT YOU?! WITH THAT STUPID HERO, ALL MIGHT!! ARENT YOU?!"
You were humiliated but you continued to sit there, "I'm not...you should know this Tsuki...You read all my messages, I know how Open I am..."
He scoffs, his eyes going red. His quirk was mood. His eyes change color by which mood he was, now you really knew he was mad and he was capable of hurting you and others but you sat there in shock, not knowing what to do. His target was you, that you knew.
"YES, I KNOW HOW OPEN YOU ARE." And he chuckles, "I WAS THE ONE WHO OPENED YOU UP!!!"
You felt tears go down your cheeks, you couldn't believe your ears. He was betraying you and humiliating you further.
"DID "HE" OPEN YOU UP MORE? HUH?! DID YOU OPEN UP FOR HIM?!"
"YOU IDIOT!" You cried out, looking down a bit. "YOU IDIOT IDIOT IDIOT!!!" Paparazzis were taking pictures and videos of the incident. Some people were already recording.
You cried, hoping someone was going to save you and you silently prayed for someone to save you and it was your security. Police arrived and pushed the paparazzi out of the way and held down Tsuki to take him to jail for public destruction in the restaurant.
You were taken to your house and you called the agency to cancel your tours and interviews. You were in your house for 2 months crying and screaming. Paparazzi tried to get you vulnerable but you were completely isolated, thanks to your security, it was very likely you can cry in peace.
You watched TV, news about the scene that ocurred. The humiliation that made you go through and to start blaming on All Might.
"If he hadn't been in the host show, Tsuki wouldnt have been jealous."
"You stupid All Might fans, is this what you support? The violence that had to go through the greatest couple in the world? Stop this Ship now!!"
You were infuriated that they do that when he had no relation to it. You haven't posted on social media in that time frame, you haven't even turned on your phone to avoid calls and messages until now.
You opened up your laptop and read every message. Many called you vulgar names, some gave you inspiring messages, that it was going to end soon, that was going to be okay. Someone even gave you the link to your first song. The song that started all. The song of betrayal and going forward. Your mind took control and made you look at the TV screen, to see a sad host older woman of the show.
"...I will risk my own life, my own job just to say this in front of the cameras and I hope your watching this (y/n). And I hope you ungrateful people watch this. I am a quirkless human, I have a family. (Y/n) had a terrible day and you defending the awful Hiroki tsuki is worse than being called a criminal. What has she done to him? To you? You remember how she started? By singing from her heart, from her emotions. To let you know that you are not alone and through her music to help you move on. After this ocurred, what did you do?" She was glaring at the camera, her fist clenched. You cried silently as you heard her defend you. You released your quirk, for kilometers so everyone can feel what you felt. The pure sadness that erupted from you. You saw the lady on TV stop glaring and her eyes start tearing up. " I know I'm not the only feeling that...you guys feel that? She's sad!! She sad for what you made! SHE MADE MUSIC FOR YOU, TO HELP YOU RECOVER AND NOW THAT THIS HAPPEN, WHO IS GOING TO BE THERE FOR HER?! WELL, I AM HERE! (Y/N), I AM HERE!!!"
Your quirk was on for more than two minutes and such power made you bleed through your mouth, coughing out a bit and when hearing that from her, you smiled small and that emotion travelled through the people until it got to the woman again. She relaxed a bit and smiled softly.
"Let me in honey...please...my sweet daughter...let me be there for you." As she let the tears roll down her face. There was a sense of hope, until you felt a quick pain in your head from a whack that immediately stopped your quirk to function as you fell unconsciously on the fell and the man in the shadows, with maroon eyes glared at you.
He punched the wall and that caused the news and paparazzi to look over at your house. To see you in your white pajamas being taken by someone fast. He laughed for a short while he taken you somewhere.
Episode recap/review: Walker 1.14
I didn't expect to recap 1.14 and yet here I am, still avoiding my unfinished Summergen fic. I'm actually writing this in real time, as I watch the episode. So for once I'm not pretending I don't know what happens. I literally don't know.
We begin with Cordell and Grandpa clearing up the crime scene. How much do I love Cordell saying "Daddy?" A lot. And not in that way, you perverts. It just really brings out the Texan.
Liam is in bed, recuperating. He gets a call (note that he calls himself William professionally, which is news to me, and I like it for whatever reason) from someone asking for a comment, which he starts to angrily refuse before Gramma Walker grabs his phone and hangs up. Gramma Walker going all Mama Bear for Liam is also interesting, and unexpected. But Liam says "I can take care of myself" and she says "No, you can't. None of you boys can." And then looks sadly out the window, where Cordell and Grandpa are taking down the crime scene tape. I just have to think "none" and not "both" means she's thinking of poor dead Hoyt, who she obviously loved like a son, if not more so. (More evidence for the Hoyt is her lovechild file? Maybe.)
Geri shows up, wearing an unnecessary cowboy hat and Hoyt's old jacket. She's bearing Hoyt's last will and testament, written on a bar coaster! Oh, my heart. And in case you can't read it:
If I get shivved in the shower or some old horse kicks me upside the head. For real Liam stamp it and everything - I leave everything to Geri/"Geraldine Broussard"/angle [sic] face sweet lips etc. So that plot I bought over in Tanglewood is for her and whatever I got in my pockets or elsewhere. See ya in the next life.
Angle face!
I'm not sure this would stand up in court, since he didn't even sign his last name, although it is witnessed by William Walker. Anyway, it's a moot point, because the land Hoyt intended to give Geraldine "Angle Face" Broussard is transferring to new owners, effective tomorrow. Which makes no sense. The deal fell apart because he died, and yet it's so soon after his death that the police tape is still up. New owners wouldn't be in the picture that quickly. Reverting to previous owners, because it was owner-financed? Sure. But not new owners. (Whatever, Caranfindel. Move it along.) She asks Cordell to go with her to gather his personal belongings. And to bring the kids. Hmmm, let's see how Stella can mess this up. (Tanglewood is 71 miles from Austin. Of course I looked it up.)
But first, Cordell has to sign paperwork to begin his leave of absence. So he didn't actually intend to quit. I mean, we all knew he'd be back, but I kind of thought he was, at the time, intending to quit for good. Does Connie the HR person have a big old crush on him? There is hand touching and deep, serious gazing.
Touch him, Connie. Touch him for those of us who cannot.
Micki is sitting right outside the conference room where he signs his papers but still acts surprised that he's in the building. Did she not smell the rosemary mint shampoo as he walked by? He thanks her for the flowers and apologizes for not calling her back. And then cancels their lunch plans so he can go off with Geri and the kids.
Someone said this on Tumblr, and I think it bears repeating here. It's interesting comparing Cordell's grief, over his wife and now his best friend, to Sam's grief. Cordell is clearly deeply affected, and is also clearly moving on. Sam is just unhinged.
Elsewhere. The gang stops for lunch and reminisces about Hoyt dressed as Santa, wearing assless chaps. Well. That's memorable. (Also, I know people who did the whole leaving horse manure and pretending it's reindeer poop thing. Some people are just a lot more into Santa than I was.) Trevor (Travis? Whatever) called Stella. She's apparently avoiding him. Probably a good call, sis. Maybe the only one you've made in 14 episodes. (To be fair, I didn't watch the first four.)
Micki shares tacos with her boyfriend, whose name I can never remember, having been stood up by Cordell. She tells him Cordell seemed "off," which is great now, Micki. Why didn't you pay more attention to that feeling last week? The BF thinks Micki herself might be off, because she misses her partner. And she calls him family. Captain What's His Face comes to talk to Trey (that's his name, dammit) and asks if he knows a guy who goes to the same physical therapist's office. Friends, when I've done PT, I don't even know people who go to my therapist, let alone just go to someone in the same office. But maybe folks in Austin are just friendlier than they are round these parts. Oh, wait. The guy is missing, and was last seen in a heated discussion with Trey? What's up with that, Trey?
Tanglewood. Cordell asks the nice lady (realtor? owner?) about Hoyt's "personal affects," and she says "they are probably out grazing." Because Hoyt's personal effects are four horses and a llama. Which Geri owns now. "Where am I going to board four horses and a llama?" she asks. Cordell is oddly befuddled (and adorably, cause y'all know how I feel about befuddled Jared), as if he didn't live on a ranch. With horses. The family business, remember? The kids are entranced. I would be too. It's a damn cute llama. One of the mares actually nursed the llama, so they're family. (Watch out for falling anvils.)
Micki's house. Trey says the "heated discussion" was the missing guy showing him a judo move. Captain asks Trey to ride along and help him investigate, and poor partnerless Micki asks if she can come with.
Tanglewood. Apparently Hoyt's personal affects also included gear for the four horses, because everyone is saddled up. Geri doesn't seem like an experienced rider - she keeps her hand on the pommel of the saddle, which I always heard was a rube move. (At least she's not clutching the saddle horn. No shade. It's hard not to. It's a perfect handle and it's just right there.) Cordell, of course, rides perfectly, as he does everything perfectly.
Everything except his job. And raising his kids. But do I care about those things? Not so much.
Geri thinks the llama looks unwell. What is she, a llama expert? A veterinarian? And what are they doing on this trail ride anyway - taking the herd back to the Walker ranch? It's 71 miles away! It's an hour and a half driving! How will they get the truck? Why didn't Cordell just say "let's go back to the ranch and get Daddy's cattle trailer?" WHY.
(No one cares. No one but you thinks about these things.)
Stella is on her phone, but it turns out she's (allegedly) re-reading Hoyt's last text, not chatting with friends. And then she says she was "responsible for everything." Oh, wait. We're going there? Stella is finally going to face the music? Cordell says it's not her fault, but they're interrupted by the llama, who apparently is in distress. Cordell wants to leave him at a random homestead. Permanently? Like, "excuse me, ma'am, but can you take this llama?" Or just while they get the horses home? I dunno.
August doesn't like this, because the llama and the horses are family. Geri distracts him by claiming Hoyt wanted him to have the jacket she's wearing, although I find this rather dubious, because why did she wait so long to mention it? Why is she wearing it herself? It's a lucky jacket he won from a tarot card reader and card hustler named The Mystifying Mehar, who was "infamous for getting out of trouble because of that jacket." Cordell then asks Geri to go off with the kids while he hangs back and tries to ditch the llama. Oh no, Cordell, don't do that. He's family!
Back at the ranch, Grandpa chases off some more journalists. He also ignores Gramma's concern about his cancer.
Trail ride. We skipped the whole bit where Cordell found someone willing to take in a goddamn llama, caught up with his kids, and told them what he did. They're mad that he wouldn't even try, and then Stella impulsively rides off, almost falling into a revine.
Team Sassyboots 2.0 questions the missing guy's wife. Turns out he left a note. Doesn't sound like he's as missing as they thought. He said he would "fix everything," i.e., their upcoming foreclosure. They check his workshop and find evidence that he was a military contractor, and apparently this means he should have no money problems whatsoever, because they don't understand how money works. His gun safe is empty, so they figure he's on some kind of "black ops" job. And if it's going to be complete by Monday, I assume it's something local, and not a military operation.
Walker Ranch. Someone who is Liam's "political opponent" comes to take care of him? And he's bringing barbeque? Is it poisoned? Gramma says Liam can't have barbecue because he's on bedrest, as if one had anything to do with the other. And... Grandpa wants to go mushroom hunting with her? Is that what the kids call it these days?
Trail ride. Cordell found someone to keep the horses. Temporarily? I'm still confused. Stella and Geri talk about Hoyt, and Stella asks about her forgiving him. Thinking about some forgiveness toward your own bad boy, Stella? She says "the two of you were always kind of like the dream to me," which is odd considering they were off-and-on, while her parents were very much on, and definitely seem more like couple goals. But okay. Stella confesses again that she is responsible, and Geri says "you let love in, maybe; that's your worse crime." I wonder if Stella blames herself for the fake truck crash that started the whole domino effect, or if she even realizes that's what happened. Obviously Geri wouldn't. Hmmm, I wonder what August thinks about all this?
Walker Ranch. Whoever this political opponent is, he must be a family friend, because he gave a toast at Cordell and Emily's rehearsal dinner. "Hey, when did your brother have such long hair," he asks, looking at a picture of the happy couple. Liam is growing facial hair again. I like it. Opponent suggests the spicy barbecue will put hair on Liam's chest and Liam tosses it aside and says "no, dammit, after I spent all that time waxing?" And Liam might drop out of whatever race he's in. I don't really care about that part. Let's talk more about Liam's chest.
I love that they can use actual Padalecki family photos as Cordell and Emily photos. No bad Photoshop needed!
Team Sassyboots 2.0. I don't really care about this missing guy either. Skipping it. You know, I understand this is meant to be an ensemble show, and Jared Padalecki and his stupid pretty face and long legs are not going to be in every scene. But Micki working a case with her boss and her boyfriend just bothers me and I don't want to be a part of it.
Trail ride. They're bedding down in the barn for the night? What the fuck? Where are they? Why didn't they just drive home? I'm so confused! Cordell and Geri talk about Hoyt some more. Cordell makes an awkward comment about "us together" and then amends it to mean all of us together, as in you and me and the kids camping right now, not, like, you and me together together, and then does a little eyebrow thing like whoo, good job, talked your way out of that one. NO, CORDELL, YOU ARE NOT AS SMOOTH AS YOU THINK YOU ARE. Anyway. There's a lot of guilt about poor dead Hoyt. Cordell tells Geri her name is still on the Sidestep lease (lease? I thought they owned it?), as if being part owner of a bar is always going to be a good thing, with no liability at all. And they don't kiss, for which I am grateful. The horses are really acting up. I hope nothing's happening.
Cordell checks on the horses and apologizes to the mare for leaving the llama behind. He realizes he made the wrong choice. "You know what," he says. "Let's go fix this."
I adore him.
Walker Ranch. Grandpa and Gramma have been mushroom hunting and are now getting silly. Um, what kind of mushrooms did you two find? And then Grandpa says "tonight's about Hoyt," which I do not understand. "I saw the joy he gave you," Grandpa says. Yes, Grandpa, and do you not find that even a little bit fishy? And then he decides to build something.
Trail ride. Cordell went and retrieved his llama! He is precious. I love him so much. He has some pratfalls in the same ravine that almost caught Stella, and then his family shows up and rescues him. (Can I point out that his "a-ha-ha" laugh is the same one we heard when he opened his gift from Dean in "A Very Supernatural Christmas" and I'm not sure it appeared in any other episode?) August offers the Lucky Jacket to use as a llama harness to haul the little guy out of the ravine. Oh, and it turns out the llama is about to give birth.
And, while I'm skipping Team Sassyboots 2.0, it's hard to ignore that Micki is now in a UFC fight. That might have been an interesting story after all. Y'all can fill me in.
Walker Ranch. They're building a little stable. Because this big horse ranch doesn't have enough stables. Liam, who was bedridden to the point of not being able to eat barbeque yesterday, is now helping build. He gets a text from his former fiance, who wants to talk. And Grandpa has decided to treat his cancer. Happy endings all around!
Micki's house. She says she was passive-aggressive with Walker because she's afraid of losing him. I get it, sweetie. He's someone you don't want to lose.
Trail ride. August is carrying the newborn llama, wrapped in the Lucky Jacket. Geri wants to cut out before they get to the ranch. She's going to ride the bus home? Seriously? Isn't her car at the Walker Ranch? She and Cordell talk abou their unfinished business. Yeah, like the fact she was probably involved in your wife's murder? That unfinished business, Geraldine? Grandpa meets them before they get to the ranch and informs them he has a strict no-llama policy on the ranch. But luckily, he just built an alpaca stable. Theyāre alpacas, not llamas. So, Geri called him, but how did he know they were alpacas? Did she send pictures? I am so confused. Anyway. The new family goes into their new home. They name the baby alpaca Hoyt, of course.
Little Hoyt, guys, he's the sweetest thing.
Breakfast. Political Opponent gives Liam a contribution. Oh, I get it. They're running for the same office, and he thinks Liam will draw votes away from his other opponent. Shrewd. Stella calls Trevor and says she might need to leave the past behind. And you are the past, Trevor. Cordell sees a truck pull up and runs out to meet Micki. She apologizes for holding a grudge over him leaving. She tries to shake hands and he hugs her instead. She thinks they can just be friends now instead of partners, and he says they're not friends, they're family. And then she oohs and aahs over the alpacas, which she recognizes immediately as alpacas and not llamas, and also points out that little Hoyt is actually a girl. Oops. Awkward. Cordell is surprised she can just tell. "Most people can." Yeah, you are the worst rancher's son ever. Then Cordell sees the fence is carved with a memorial to Hoyt. Aw.
He is also the sweetest thing.
So. Less drama than last week. More warmth. A ridiculous B story that was as annoying as giving Cas his own plot. Will I still watch next week? Yeah, probably. I have questions. How did Grandpa know they were alpacas? Where is the baby daddy? Can Cordell and his rancher father really not tell the difference between a male and female alpaca? Why is Geri riding the bus home, when her car is at the Walker's? Why is she avoiding the Walker Ranch? Will August ever get his own plot again?
It's just a shame that this episode didn't have any shout-outs to Supernatural, like the last one did...
