I keep considering giving up on my photocard collection, but then I have days like today when I get the last photocards I needed to complete my KunDoTen sets from the Universe album (finally!!) and the Ten card I needed from the SMCU Express album!! And it just makes something in me feel so right to look at these completed sets
#like collecting three members when one of them is definitely one of the most popular/expensive members (ten) sucks#like Doyoung’s cards are kinda popular and expensive too but I don’t think on the same level as ten’s#and definitely not Kun’s although I love that man his cards aren’t too difficult to find#except the take off pc which I want so badly but I’m not paying $50 for a piece of paper#but!!! I have their completed empathy sets for both albums#I have past and future resonance pt 1 complete#departure and arrival for resonance pt 2 complete!!#now I have the photobook jewel case and universe cards from universe complete#and the smcu express complete#now I need to work on maybe the smcu palace cards which I didn’t pull any of them for unfortunately#and golden age where I did get doyoung and kun for the transit card or whatever those ones are called#also I still need doyoung and ten’s yearbook cards from resonance pt 1#like I’m not super dedicated to completing my collection but when I saw a seller had all of these cards I still needed I couldn’t help mysel

My albums came in today 🥰 and when this trade we sent out today gets to me, I’ll have already completed Kun for Universe because I got his jewel case pc, and the trade was for the photobook pc so I’m very very happy
But I got Johnny, Hendery and Shotaro pcs in the three other jewel cases and tbh I want to keep them all so badly, I think I’m just gonna have to buy Doyoung and Ten’s cards if I want to actually collect them this era
And on an unrelated to nct note, I got two Ateez albums from ktown, and they came with POBs (thank god) and I got cutie hongjoong and god-blessed pink-haired sexy Seonghwa (clearly my Ateez bias) as POBs, and my album pulls were Yeosang and Jongho (who loves me he’s shown up the most in my Ateez pulls), and then Yunho and Wooyoung, so now the only Ateez member I’ve never pulled from an album or as a pob is San which sucks bc he’s my second bias in Ateez ☹️ but yes @ god thank you for the pink-haired Seonghwa pob
#but my doyoung and ten luck is literal shit this era lmao#like it’s their jewel cases that I don’t have because ktown had them out of stock#and now I’m waiting on them from Kpop USA#but I’ve not pulled anything doyoung or ten related at all for universe across the 7!!!! universe albums I’ve got(that’s photobooks and#jewel cases combined)#but like okay in terms of collecting cards I feel like I haven’t been as into it#like I didn’t bother with trying to trade or buy for Doyoung during sticker or favorite#mostly because I really really like whoever’s cards I pull#so it’s basically only when I pull dupe cards that I trade#and I think that’s kinda an issue#like if I keep the cards I have and then buy more like yikes that’s a lot of cards lol
