Renegade 2017 – motores

Depois de dois anos de mercado, o Jeep Renegade recebeu melhorias no motor 1.8 flex, com foco na potência e, sobretudo, na economia de combustível. O propulsor 1.8 E.torQ Flex recebeu o sobrenome “Evo”, devido a algumas evoluções aplicadas pela marca.

Entre as mudanças, recebeu um novo coletor de admissão variável, sistema de partida a frio sem tanquinho auxiliar, alternador inteligente, bomba de combustível inteligente, óleos de baixo atrito para motor e transmissão e sistema start/stop. Ainda entre as novidades, o Renegade Flex ganhou pneus “verdes” de baixa resistência a rolagem e indicador de troca de marchas no painel no modelo manual.

Com essas melhorias, o carro passou a entregar 135 cavalos de potência com gasolina e 139 cv com etanol, a 5.750 rpm. Já o torque subiu para 18,7 kgfm com gasolina e 19,3 kgfm com etanol, a 3.750 rpm.

Ele trabalha com um câmbio manual de cinco velocidades ou automático de seis marchas com conversor de torque. No Renegade Flex, a tração é sempre dianteira.

Do outro lado, há o Renegade Diesel 2017. Este modelo ostenta o propulsor 2.0 Multijet de quatro cilindros, movido a diesel. O motor usa recursos como turbocompressor, bomba de combustível de alta pressão (1.600 bar), injeção direta de combustível, entre outros.

O Renegade Diesel consegue gerar 170 cavalos de potência, a 3.750 rpm, e 35,7 kgfm de torque, a 1.750 rpm. Neste caso, a transmissão é sempre automática de nove marchas e tração 4×4.
