"You do this once a month?!"

"Novs, I don't want too but I can't let you stay at home today." Sid had whispered to his daughter who was bundled into a mountain of blankets, on the couch. "You're going to have to come to the rink with me beautiful."

"Dad, I really fucking hurt." Nova had shot back in response, her voice wavering.

"I know, and I'm sorry. I have to bring you though." Sid had sighed, rubbing a hand down gently down Nova's side, through the blanket. "What can we do to optimise the situation? What do you need to bring with you, what do you need Uncle Kris or Geno to get for you?"

"Some dark chocolate, strawberry creams and chai." Nova mumbled, "on almond."

"I get one of them to drop by the shops on the way through, yeah?" Sid continued his soothing rub, up and down her side. "You want to bring your blankets? Will you need any products with you?"

"Yeah, I've got some stuff upsta-" Nova started speaking but she was cut off.

"I'm making Kris get that stuff there, so we have some stuff at the rink in case you need it at the future." Sid had spoken, fishing his phone out of his pocket to send Kris a message.

"Thank's dad." Nova had mumbled, bringing her hand out to wrap around his. Something she does to express her gratitude, and had always done.

"You want me to carry you to the car?" Sid had offered.

"Could you?" Nova had asked, she started trying to wiggle out of her blanket.

"No, No. Stay there." Sid had stopped her, he bent down and grabbed Nova, blankets and all and walked out to the car. He opened the car door, placing the girl down, adjusting her blankets and and dragging her seat belt over and fastening it. "You comfy?"

"Yeah," Nova had mumbled "Can we get chai on the way?"

"How much chai do you need!" Sidney had exclaimed, laughing. "Yes, we can."

"Thanks Dad." Nova had smiled at him.

After Sidney had stopped by the local cafe, got some chai and his prefered coffee he drove them to the arena. Sidney looked over the center console,

"You want me to carry you in?"

"Yes please dad." Nova replied in between sips of her chai. Sid, exited the driver's side of the car. He unbuckled Nova and slid her into his arms, "Let's go! Kris told me he put the stuff in the common room. You happy to chill on the couch in there?"

"Yeah, I should be fine." Nova answered, "Can I put my show on the tv?"

"If you would like!" Sid had smiled down at her.

"Thank's Dad." Nova had mumbled into Sid's chest, as he walked along the halls to the common room. "I don't know if I would be so lucky with someone else."

"I'm lucky to have you, kid." Sid said.

Sidney carried his daughter the rest of the way down the halls into the teams common room, where most of them were lounging. Sid walked toward the couch.

"Can you boy's move please?" Sid had asked, Drew O'Connor and Jansen Harkins. They both complied and Sid dropped her down on the couch. Handing her the chocolate and lollies, leaning down and kissing her head. "You stay there, call me if you need anything alright. I will come and check on you regularly."

"Wait, why are you here Nova?" one of the boys asked.

"Pain." the girl grumbled in response. "You can't expect me to function."

"It can't be that bad!" Someone else exclaimed.

"You try some of this pain then tell me that." Nova shot back.

"Fine, we'll get one of those simulator thingys!" Erik Karlsson stated.

The Dream Alchemist | March Update:

Hello! This month's screenshots show a couple side characters available in Alasdair’s route. The first shows Nova getting a touch jealous when someone pets her cat, the second is the beginning of a scene where Nova gets chatted up in front of cat-Alasdair.  

Every romance needs just a little jealousy to keep things interesting.

I’m playing around with a tailored sex scene, as in Alasdair asks lots of questions about what the player might be into, and the scene changes depending on what the answers are. I’m not sure if I want to sneak them into the dialog from the beginning of the game, or just have Alasdair directly ask beforehand – since that’s something he’d be comfortable doing anyway.  

The first way might be a pain in the butt to find, especially for anyone playing around with how that scene could turn out differently and will have to keep reloading to find them all.  

The second way, which I’m leaning towards, would be kind of amusing, because Alasdair would have no qualms about directly asking what Nova’s kinks are. How Nova reacts to those questions is another matter, however.  

So, where am I this month? Art is finished! Yay! April will be a big writing month, finishing off the last scenes of Alasdair’s route, lots of editing, reading and rereading. I’m hoping to have Alasdair’s route complete at the end of May, but early June at the very latest.  

I’m not going to do a percentage thingie this month, just know that I’m almost done!

Stiles races to Nova the moment the panel is done. He barely made it through the rest of it, his own anxiety spiking the longer they’re gone. “Hey, what happened? Is everything okay? Why’d they leave?”

Bash waits with Nova, just wanting to make sure Melinda’s okay. He rocks back on his feet, ready to book it to her the moment she’s willing to tell them where they went.

Perry’s ready to drag Bash out of there. Neither of them are equipped to handle that level of trauma, and she doubts Melinda wants either of them there crowding her anyways.

Nova steals a glance to the siblings and looks back to Stiles. “Later. C’mon.” She glances to the other two, especially Perry. “It’s all right, but she’ll probably have you leave once you see she’s okay.” She just hopes to god it’s Morgan. Morgan wasn’t the most convincing Melinda, but she could at the very least get them to go.

She motions for them to follow her and heads quickly to their designated meeting place, not far around the corner. It’s out of the traffic area of the con, in a small corner no one really was paying attention to, with a quick path to the exits from it. Hence why it had been chosen.

3 looks up, recognizing Nova, but not the others, quickly putting on a weak smile Melinda would probably offer if she’d run out or been pulled away, waving a bit, but leaning into Sylvia.

Nova smiles. “Hey, Melinda, doing better?” As she gets there, she reaches out a hand to the other.

They reach out and take it, pulling their hands down slightly and moving up to her arm, the taps easy and hopefully hidden as they’re nodding in answer to her question. One, two, three.

Nova contains herself as she nods back. “Sorry, I had to wait for Stiles. Bash and Perry just wanted to see you were all right.” She makes motioning to each of them natural, effortless, a quick nod to Stiles, a sort of wave towards Perry and Bash. Easy, fluid, casual introduction, as if she’s done this a hundred times before, because she has.

3 nods, smiling, still a weak smile as they process. Bash? Oh. Bash is a person.

Bash is a person they think Melinda likes. And it’s probably a good thing she’s making friends, so they have to do something so they don’t lose touch.

3 gets into Sylvia’s backpack, finding a black marker in the front pocket where they knew she kept one, uncapping it and reaching out, taking Bash’s arm and writing their phone number on it from memory (and normally they’d look for Sylvia or Sam to be proud of them for remembering it all by themself, but right now they were focused on making their numbers look like a grown up’s numbers, like how Melinda would write them), looking up at him and smiling.

Sylvia’s talking in the meantime. “Well, as all right as can be expected. We’re probably gonna head back to our hotel room, though. I think we need to just relax and breathe for... a bit...” She trails off a moment when 3 gets into her bag, watching them write their number on Bash’s arm and blinking in surprise, recovering quickly and chuckling. “So, it was great to meet you both, and I’m sure we’ll see each other again before all this is over. Thanks for coming to check up.”

3, after putting the marker away again, straightens up and does the two-finger mock salute wave... thingy that Melinda normally does when she’s saying goodbye, linking their arm with Sylvia’s again.

It's true that some of my siblings have datemates ! I think it's the case of Mirage, Apollo, Star and... Malignance !

I'm sure I can remember all the names ! *Deep thinking* So Mirage, big Mirage not little Mirage ! Mirage is with Ursula ! Apollo is with Rooth! Star is with Nova! And Malignance with Butterfly ! Yay, I didn't forgot this time! *Proud*

I'm gonna begin with Ursula ! I know Ursula the most I think... She even gave me socks! With DUCKS on it. Don't tell the others but I think Ursula is my favorite non-sibling person! She worries a bit too much sometimes... But that's okay it's better than no worries at all, no? I guess the last time I saw her, it wasn't the most pleasant experience...

So I saw Nova after the whole thing. But I don't think he saw me. He was looking really happy. But weird happy! As if he had done something and it worked well.

I don't have much to say on him apart from the fact he makes Star happy I guess. It's enough for me to like him!

Butterfly is a nice name, don't you think? Someone showed me a knife saying it was a butterfly... So I borrowed a pencil and a paper and showed them what's a butterfly ! 🦋

Like in the movie I wasn't allowed to look at, the guy shouted "Watch out, a knife!" and the other guy dodge the knife alright ! But if it's " Watch out, a butterfly !"... I don't know a lot about Butterfly, Butterfly the squeleton not butterflies! Even if I'm sure I don't know a lot about butterflies either...

But I like her pretty clothes! She even has a bow with a kitty! Kitty! I would love to know her more. She looks fun to be around! But I'm a bit scared of Malignance's smile... Malignance is not at all like big sis' Shine and I don't know why but I can't really have fun when they're around. *Sad face*

Okay so I went through @lunasdestiny tag of NSR and found the episode ask thingies, so I raise to you all another concept with the time episode where Tatiana looses control over her powers, done a tad different, also, for the purpose of the plot. Neon J and DJ SS don't recognise each other from childhood:

So the childhood friends au, ye? The one where Neon J and DJ SS are childhood friends? Very good shit I love that.

So Tatiana looses control.over the time powers and it targets certain portion of NSR elite artist, specifically DJ SS, Zuke and Eve. They are turned into their childselfs so they don't know about the whole grow up stuff they done, a bit like memory loss. So, whilst rest of the artists is panicking and trying to work out what to do, Neon J is like staring at Little Supernova and being like why do I recognise him?

Meanwhile, Little Supernova is kinda anxious and not understanding what is happening and wants his friend Jay (James? I think it's Jay so Imma stick to that) so he asks for him. The artists confusion gets interrupted by loud ping sound/screech and everyone turns to Neon J like ????? Everything okay my dude?

Neon J on the inside is like wait that's my childhood friend??? And I missed that even tho he is my coworker??? On the outside he just clears his throat and propose that they all have designated older artists take the mini artist back to their own homes to find the solution. sounds good? Great, bye! And he effortlessly picks up Little Nova and orders 1010 back to the mansion with them.

Little Nova is of course confused because what? But stubbornly doesn't answer any of Neon J questions or 1010 questions as they try to entertain him. This goes on all the way to the mansion, and stuff happen I guess? Mainly my idea here is that Neon tries to keep it together and not able everything to Little Nova because that can end up badly™, 1010 is trying to busy Little Nova and keep him out of trouble whilst trying to know what's up with Dad J cause he behaves strangely.

After all of that it ends with Neon J giving Little Nova a peep talk (just encourages him to follow his dreams and truing to quench any anxieties he remembers DJ SS having at that age) and big cuddle pile consisting of Neon 1010 and Nova.

Probably next day, the little artists turn back to normal and but without knowing what had happen the day before and just fluff ya know?

Dream trip: the whole wide world, but i’d settle for germany, norway and/or iceland, greece, certain areas in the states where friends are located, the canadian west and nova scotia, and obvs many others but those are good starts
