a timeline i guess;

six years old:

Caught in Smallville meteor shower while with his father.

Exposure to kryptonite causes metagene activation, though the effects are not obvious until later.

Spends the rest of the year in and out of the hospital until his accelerated healing relieves him of any health issues / immunizes him to illnesses. 

eleven years old:

Lex witnesses Julian’s death and subsequently takes the blame for it. 

Doesn’t remember this after.

Starts taking fencing. because that’s what rich people do i guess.

thirteen / fourteen years old

Lena’s born

Lilian dies not long after due to health complications.

Sent off to boarding school because Lionel can’t stand to look at himBut I mean he was going anyway that was just more incentive.

Lex is allowed to skip two grades. that eidetic memory is super useful huh.

Starts taking martial arts classes. for fun aka bc lionel tells him to.

seventeen / eighteen years old

Spirals toward the end of uni but manages to graduate with high honors.

Spends way too much time partying and gets into a lot of trouble

Sleeps around quite a bit. Almost never seen by paparazzi when sober yikes.

It’s called a fake I.D and lots of money and Club Zero. Someone probably died.

The only time Lionel has any right whatsoever to be like Lex get your ass home you’re grounded but it’s his fault so it’s debatable.

Lex attempts to drive his car off a bridge his first week in Smallville because fuck you world I dont wanna be here anymore.

twenty-one twenty-two years old

LexCorp becomes a thing out of Fertilier Plant no 2 or whatever. 

Lex is actually a decent boss, nice.

Lex buys a coffee shop in the middle of this stupid tiny town because why not.

Actually it’s because he needs a place to go to when he doesn’t wanna be in the mansion ew.

Gets into relationship with Murder Girlfriend No. 1 and doesn’t die hurray.

twenty- four years old

Gets into relationship with Murder Girlfriend No. 2 and almost dies

Yeah her name is Helen or w/e. No they don’t get married.

Crash lands on a deserted island for 3 months because he’s obviously Tom Hanks. Maybe if he stayed there longer he would have met Oliver.

Comes back and it’s fine, everything’s fine until Lionel drugs his scotch because why aren’t you dead, son.

There goes another 6 months of his life in Belle Reve what the fuck dad.

Eventually gets released by Lionel when the “therapy is over and works”. aka Lex pretends it did. 

Twenty - five / Twenty- six years old

Between Metropolis and Smallville most of the time.

Gets Lionel killed. See ya in hell!

Complete take over of LuthorCorp which now becomes LexCorp. 

Gets involved in a lot of shitty things like...human experimentation for a little while until he decides That’s Bad.

Starts work on Artificial Intelligence. He wants an A.I bodyguard.

Eventually moves all operations to Metropolis and says bye to smallville.

Except for that coffee shop, that stays there so he can hide in the apartment just above it and not in the mansion bc fuck the mansion.

Thirty years old

You can’t play both sides of the coin--you can’t be a ‘good person’ but also do shady things when it benefits you... but he does this and says there’s no other choice. 

Lots of military weapons projects. Some not so legal weapon’s projects.

Has that A.I bodyguard that no one realizes is an A.I and also Mercy Graves, his favorite secretary bodyguard--they spar and she kicks his ass all the time.

Gets into a lot of messes because he’s a Luthor and has lots of enemies. 

Thirty - Four years old

After a demonstration of an advanced stealth jet, Lex is taken hostage and goes missing for eight months.

Rescued by some hero.

Now has a neat prosthetic hand, and lots of mental scars and having a hard time functioning, but He’s Fine.

Drinks a lot, doesn’t sleep, chronic pain.

Closes all weapons programs, except for the non-lethal things like vehicles and what not.

Removes himself from criminal underground and begins exposing his former associates. LexCorp stock plummets.

Trying his best to make connections and build relationships with non-corrupt elite. 

Almost leaps off the tallest building in Metropolis. Almost.
