It’s true what they say. Give it an inch and it’ll take a mile. On a High. Progressing.
I'm on a crazy high. I feel good. I feel inspired. I have a new found hobby of running! It's addictive. It started off 2 weeks ago when I went to run with my friend, Shazia at Central Park with the Nike Running Club. The club is recurring on T/TH/S. I have now run 5 times, each increasing the miles. I have the Nike App which has tracked all my runs and speeds. A week ago I ran with the JP Morgan 5K. I finished with a time of 41:28, Yesterday was I did a random, unofficial run and finished at 34:47. I'm thrilled! I am motivated to keep training and focus on this in my life. I've instantly dropped my worries and this is going to be my key to healing. I will get through this time that I thought was hard and will be a distant memory. Need to focus on myself and when the time is right, the right guy with a backbone will come back. Thumbs up to progress! I will keep a journal of my progress. I have downloaded a 10K app that is going to help me train for the 10K. Forget the baby 5K. Got to go big, 10K :)
3M Goal: 10K, Sept 1st @ Roosevelt Island, Start Training App from W5, Day 1 on T, 0617.
6M Goal: Half Marathon, Dec 2014 (Need to get to 10miles a week, before I do this)
12M Goal: 2nd Half Marathon, Jun 2015 - (Need to get to 10miles a week, before I do this)
24M Goal: Marathon, Jun 2016
