About 4 years ago, I was asked, with great love, to watch @forksoverknives . I had never taken care of my body and it shattered my mind to where I was subconsciously overeating meat, pasta, frozen pizzas, candy and soda knowing it was killing me. I couldn’t breathe, tie my shoes without gasping for air, or make it they the day without huffing and puffing just getting out of a chair. To my sadness, I ended up #eatingmyemotions until I ballooned to over 315+ lbs...So, with recommendations from the same true friend I was loved into watching the movies @fatsickandnearlydead by #joecross and #gmoomg In August of 2015, started my first #juicereboot and my body started talking to me, craving healthier foods. 18 months later, I weighed in at 160 lbs, dropping over half my weight using #nothingbutfood ... I’m sitting here sharing this with tears in my eyes as I think of the person I was in that former life, thinking I couldn’t do this...and looking I the mirror knowing how dramatically different my life is today, physically, mentally, emotionally (and even spiritually). Today, I watch everything I put into my body. I’ve Become a #PlantBasedEater focusing on #NoGMOFoods and #OrganicllyGrownProduce (about 8 specific foods) I’m not looking to be some guru or leader...But if my posting here can offer one person that #InnerStrength to push thru and achieve their food goals, then I’m paying forward the love that was shared with me, a love that saved my life. @Garyvee is my inspiration for posting this (and another whom I know might be embarrassed if mentioned), to have to courage to share my story even in the finest manner. #HealthyFoodIsMyPassion now, at least one of them. I should be a spokesperson for Costco. - I LOVE the selection of gluten free and healthy treats they rotate through their stores. - This week I found @nothinbutfoods bars, which are really amazing tasting and satisfying. I found @deepriversnacks multi pack of chips which includes my favorite bbq chips.
