12. how long have they been around? do you know their birthday? is their birthday the day you made them or another day? what do they think of celebrating birthdays?

Vio has existed as an OC since late January of 2022, so he's existed for over a year now! I usually pick birthdays differently from when I create them though (since creating an OC is not a single-day process), and for Vio that's 4th of Sarenith (or June in modern setting)!

He sees birthdays as a special thing to celebrate, since he was described as "a gift from Sarenrae," and took that logic to everyone's birth. It's kinda cute.

28. how do they show that they care about someone? how do they express that they don't like someone?

Well Vio is kinda blunt, not the best with words (I love choosing to quantify CHA as either presence/force of personality versus their skill with words, it's a great way for me to write characters who have one but not the other), so he honestly won't put it into words. Easier to watch him. If he likes someone, he'll choose to spend time in their presence like a cat or something. If he cares, he'll express it through small acts of service. Even if it's a bit awkward, since he might not know how to ask and will instead resort to observation.

In comparison, Vio will never be rude but if he's not a fan of you, you might find him giving the cold shoulder.

31. do they like receiving gifts? giving gifts? what is their ideal gift?

Vio's not the type of person to want gifts. He doesn't feel like he needs them and can be awkward about accepting them. But he'll never turn them down. The types of gifts he prefers are the same type he likes to give: practical, useful items.

Sometimes you gotta do what you need to do. They lie as easy and as often as breathing (not much choice), they've done plenty of thievery and killing in their time as a pirate. They rarely will judge a person for doing those things, though their outward actions will vary based on the lie they are currently telling the world. They've done these things once, they will have to do them again.

25. how good/bad is their hearing? what about their eyesight?

As an elf, their hearing is pretty good! Their eyesight is a bit of a different story. One eye is perfect version, the other is the one that requires their glasses. It never healed quite right after the fact with Orion. They're farsighted, so it's only fine details they have issues with when their glasses are missing.

32. do they have any habits that aren't particularly self-destructive, just maybe odd?

Not sure if I would call it a habit so much as an occupational hazard from trying to blend in among multiple cultures and then suddenly trying to not wear the mask, since they give up on it after Kenabres. Sometimes they'll just slip and might say a phrase in Skald, or might swear in the name of Desna or Sarenrae, or might completely fall into the pirate mindset. They got a little too into that one for such a short period of time. They're made up of a lot of experiences and they all start showing when they're not paying attention.

Logan had thought living with Wade would be a bad idea. He belonged in his last universe with what he’s done. He brought himself down for years, mentally and physically, hoping the pain would stop. Thankfully, it finally had.

It’s been almost a year since Logan has lived with Wade and his younger roommate. The match seemed off when he first met her, but after the first hour, she knew why she and Wade were close friends.

The girl was in college, young, pretty, had a small job at the campus, and loved parties, and things that Wade did daily.

Logan had a small argument with y/n a couple of weeks ago after she gifted him an iPhone. She said he needed it to keep in touch with her and Wade. She also said he needed a bit of humor.

He had no idea what that meant until she made a TikTok for the man. The videos that came up on his page didn’t make sense to him, he he still laughed at them.

He had no idea what happened to himself, but sending memes to y/n every hour was a habit.

After sending y/n a TikTok video, he swiped and came across a sound that confused him.

The man in the video was lip-syncing a song as she showed his muscles. Logan gave a disgusting look at his phone, thinking the man looked ridiculous until he read the title.

“When she chose you because you’re height starts with a six and your weight starts with a two”

Logan sent the video to y/n, asking her what he meant by that. He didn’t know being a muscle-tall man was a trend.

“Logan, I’m in the room next to you, just come here!” Y/n shouted in her room, making him sigh loudly as he got off of the couch for the first time in what felt like days.

“I just wanted to know what he meant? Like is being big and tall a trend? Like, if that’s the case, then I’d be viral,” Logan used words that y/n and Wade ran him by.

“God, Logan — Do people your age question everything?” Y/n checked her phone and noticed what trend he sent her. She’s thought about this trend but with Logan in it. He fits it perfectly, but Wade would tease her if she’d ever brought it up.

“I’m just askin', Bub. Seemed stupid to me,” Logan shrugged his shoulders. “Because you haven’t tried it,” y/n defended her generation. “So, you’re into that stuff? God, y/n — Never knew you’d be one of those kids,”

“I do like it, and since you’re so boring, we’re gonna have you do it, so c’mere,” y/n stood up from her bed and placed her phone down on her desk after clicking the sound.

“Gotta take your shirt off for it,” y/n lied, but she knew he’d do it, even if he complained. “No fuckin’ way, bub,” Logan laughed as he turned around to go back to his sofa until she grabbed his arm softly.

“Please! You never do TikTok’s with me,” y/n fake cried, annoying him in an instant. “Ain’t takin’ my shirt off for no little girls online. I’d get, what’s it called? Canceled?” Logan said, making her laugh.

“Logan, you sound stupid as fuck. Take off the shirt — Unless you’re jealous they look better than you,” y/n shrugged her shoulders as she went back to her bed to sit down, acting like she didn’t care to get a reaction out of him.

“Bub, you know I look better than them, so stop the lyin,” Logan felt a bit upset at her words. Y/n ignored him for what felt like hours, so he sighed and gave up. “Swear to god, I’d Wade say some shit about this, I’ll kill him,”

Logan and y/n worked on the TikTok for an half hour, trying to get the right angle since he kept saying he didn’t look good enough.

Y/n never complained. Watching him walk through her door repeatedly, then editing the video in slow motion, made her stomach tingle.

At first, Logan felt uncomfortable. She could smell the young lady, but he didn’t want to say anything. He’d be a pervert if he did, so he kept quiet, thinking it would go away, but he knew her spot grew bigger.

“So, you think I’m a big dog?” Logan genuinely asked as y/n began to edit the TikTok video. “What makes you think that?” She asked; thinking she nailed her scared response, but Logan saw the quick stutter in her fingers as she typed on her phone.

“Just askin, bub,” Logan said before taking a small sniff. He was leaning on her doorway as she sat on her bed. He was so far., yet she smelt so close.

He cussed himself out in his head, upset that Wade had won this “you’ll like her eventually” argument. Logan swore she was too young, and even made her feel a bit bad.

He had thought y/n had moved on, maybe got over the thought of her having a chance with Wade’s new friend, but the smell she had, is making him go insane.

All she’s doing is making a TikTok. That’s it, but he can’t stop thinking about the spot she’s soaking in her panties. He felt nasty, but in a good way after a while. The lust was taking him over.

“You happy you’ve got your little video?” Logan asked as he kicked off of her dorm frame and walked towards her bed to sit next to her.

“Yes, finally,” she smiled at him before continuing her edit. Logan scanned the girl's body slowly, watching how spotty her breathing was, seeing goosebumps form on her arms, and watching her leg shake a bit.

“And why is that? I look good?” He asked her, eyes on her soft and pretty lips. “Uh, yeah — Think the viewers will like it,” she awkwardly smiled, feeling her heart raise.

“Think you liked it more than the viewers will,” Logan almost whispered. Y/n just noticed how his shirt was still off. Why was his shirt still off?

“Seen you repost that video, y/n. You’re not slick,” Logan spoke about the video he had sent her. “Think you were thinkin’ about me when you did it,” the man smirked.

“I- I was just reposting,” Y/n stuttered as his hand slowly cupped her chin. “Guess I’m not the big dog you’re lookin’ for them,” Logan faked sighing as he pulled his hand back.

Before he could turn around to get up, y/n grabbed his face and pulled him into a short but long kiss, hoping to get the best out of this one-time thing.

“Told you last you, you ain’t for me, baby,” Logan said, making y/n look down in embarrassment. “I know,” she said. “I lied — Was just goin’ through a little somethin,” Logan admitted before pulling her back into a kiss, this time rough.

Y/n gasped as he breathed into her mouth, sucking on her lips like he’d starved for days. “Lo,” y/n moaned low at the feeling of his pulling her into his rough kisses.

Logan decided to push Y/n down on her bed and lean over her, keeping their lips together. Y/n instantly wrapped her legs around the man, pulling him closer as he moved his hips, grinding on her to feel the pressure.

I have seen memes rise and fall. I have witnessed the birth of legends, and I have seen them burn in the fires of the sun they strove to touch. Under my watchful eye, nine became ten, the angel met the hunter. I watched their alliance carve great swathes over the memescape, invading everything they touched, before fading into memory.

I have seen the colour of the sky, and felt the pain of a million locked hearts as the great detective waned with each passing season.

Yet I was not content to observe. I too sought to touch that incandescent orb. I have made such posts as could cause a grown man to shrivel into his own skeleton at the recollection of the ignorance of youth. Here I first felt the heady pull of 10 notes, the righteous fury of one wronged by a stranger, and the abiding shame of a stranger called out for wrongs of his own.

What am I doing here?

This place is my home. It has shaped me, moulded me. It has twisted my perception in ways that I cannot reverse, though I have travelled far, and witnessed much that is otherwise.

IWAIZUMI can’t stop thinking of getting you a gift. thinking of giving you a gift every once in a while wasn’t unusual, but he tries really hard to get a hold of himself when he realizes he's scanning every store he walks past for something you might like. he fails, obviously, when you end up getting a gift every time you meet up for the next few weeks.

MATSUKAWA blurts out "seriously?" after you say yes. he tries to ignore how his face heats up when you tilt your head and laugh. you’re still laughing when he pulls you into him as if to hug you, only to start tickling you. he jokingly threatens, “don’t laugh at me, i’m your boyfriend,” when you yelp and hit his side.

KAGEYAMA can’t stop replaying the moment you guys officially start dating in his head, even and especially while practicing. he’s setting the ball when he thinks about how you smiled and suddenly forgets what he's doing. his face is red from being flustered and the volleyball smacking him on the forehead.

YAMAGUCHI, when he has the time, marks down the date in his calendar. butterflies flutter in his stomach as he types out "WE’RE DATING !!!!!! :)) " in the notes. it's been less than a day and he's already (over)thinking of what to do to celebrate the closest, reasonable anniversary, whenever that is. in a month, probably, he thinks.

It has been a few weeks ever since you've started dating Fyodor, and you still haven't gotten used to the way he spoils you.

The shoes on your feet, delicate heels that somehow manage to be comfortable while also being stunning, are gifts of his; so is the dress that's clinging to your body, the fabric pure silk.

A personal driver of his makes sure you get to every date with him safely and comfortably, the car luxurious, the chauffeur respectful and polite. To be honest, the treatment has you feeling like nothing short of royalty, causing you to giggle to yourself ever so often, giddy.

While you still don't know what exactly it is he does for work, the question usually evaded with suave words and a silver tongue until he has redirected the conversation to a different topic entirely, he certainly seems to have enough money to spend it freely, albeit certainly not carelessly.

Now, as you're sat next to him inside one of the usual cars, sleek black, your eyes fall onto a bouquet so large it brushes against your arm even while still held by him, yet somehow managing not to be obnoxious, colours white and a pale lilac. Still, you're perplexed by the sight of it.

“Fyodor—, what's this?”

His smile is gentle, albeit he now raises an eyebrow in mild amusement. “Those are flowers, dear. Your favourite ones, as far as I'm aware.”

“No, I know that. They are my favourites; I'm just asking why you're gifting me flowers.” As far as you're aware, this is little more than the usual date between the two of you; there's no special occasion, or so you hope — if there was, that would mean you'd have forgotten about it.

“Does there have to be a reason?” Fyodor tilts his head to the side, black bangs moving like shadows. “I merely thought you'd like them. Don't you?”

“I do”, you hurry to say, gaze falling down onto the bouquet again. It's objectively stunning, but the idea of Fyodor going out of his way to make you gifts without even needing an occasion to do so is what truly makes your heart soar. “I really do. Thank you.”

“Of course, dear.”

It takes a few moments until you notice that, despite your conversation just now, he looks oddly expectant, purple eyes occasionally flickering over to you. More seconds pass before you realise just what he might be waiting for.

With a smile gracing your features — something about him being this patient yet eager is frankly adorable —, you lean forward, lips soon pressing against his cheek. The action leaves a faint glittering stain on pale skin, your lip gloss showing. “Thank you, Fyodor. I love them.”

If you had to describe his expression, a smug and content cat that has just been fed comes to mind.

“I'm glad.”
