Going to your club was the second best thing I've done

The first would come later, but I couldn't have known that yet

You promised it would be a night out of just having fun

It was a hell in a bottle I had no foresight to vett.

You were the closest thing I could call a friend,

The pillar holding me up in the crowd

Fighting laced drinks and pushy men

Id have fucked you right there if you had allowed

When we first met it was like a punch in to the head

To see someone so beautiful and go sleep alone in my bed

Awe turns to hate and dissolves into rust

You tell me you hate me most of the time

I don't know why it hurts so I'll say that I'm fine

the spear card and solas as an arcane warrior had not connected in my head till now and. augh. it’s a need now unfortunately

we have, like, so little evidence of it in game. solas is in fact not a knight enchanter but he holds back on a LOT of things about himself because he's incognito-ish. so one could write that off.

having him (or I guess we don't know for sure that the caretaker is referring to solas, but like. who else) be referred to as the gods' champion, having him be characterized as a faithful/servant of mythal. this codex entry from trespasser is rattling around in my head a little:

like it's physical combat. mythal says choose a champion and they are fighting with swords.

do all champions have to be physical combatants. no of course not. BUT IT WOULD BE HOT IF SOLAS WAS!!!!!!!!!!
