POV: DbD killers reaction on my new hairstyle

Author's note: I wrote this POV for myself, not gender neutral, mentions of female gender. I mention MY long purple and green hair. I also describing my own fantasies and I don't feel very positive about some of the characters. But if you want, you can use this pov and imagine yourself. I use "me/I'm" etc in it. Also please don't judge me English is not my native language

Today was a special day because Entity sent out hair dye to the survivors. There were only two colors and these were my colors, so I did not share them with others. No one began to argue with me, seeing how inspired I was. I asked my best friend dye my hair. At first they was insecure, doubting that they would do well, but seeing my compassionate look, they agreed.

So, the reaction of the killers to my new hair color:

• He doesn't care. He already have a new hair color every trial

• He is too busy paying attention to Miroslav (My bestie <3)

I'm happy for them, so I don't care about his reaction.

fated to love you taiwanese drama review

fated to love you is one of my top 10 all time favorite feel good dramas. It's the story of a sticky-note girl who falls in love, experiences heartbreak like 3/4/5 times, and gains confidence along the way.

The very first time I watched this I was a sucker for chen xinyi's revenge on her trash ex-boyfriend. I delighted in seeing him kneel and beg for forgiveness after cheating on chen xinyi with some rando he found on the cruise. SCUMBAG. BIG RED FLAG. But now that I'm rewatching it for the 10th time, I find myself deeply resonating with chen xinyi's character or more so scared that I'll become someone like her...kinda deep ngl(but it's empowering cus she's able to transform herself in 2 years. we'll get there). I wonder what part will stick out to me in my 2nd rewatch a couple years or months later.

This show has managed to make me cry almost every time xinyi cries and almost every time that sad ass dramatic ass song plays. I love the soundtracks so much though. the theme song is infinitely happy; the dramatic song is just perfect for every tense, heartbreaking moment...so perfect. I love taiwanese dramas abundant use of soundtracks cus it makes everything that much more emotional. It's also comedic, like I died laughing when Ji cun xi went blind and had those goofy puppy dog like expressions.

my favorite parts of the story is when chen xin yi loses her kid(sounds bad I KNOW) but then radically transforms herself with dylan's help in shanghai. for some reason i experienced second lead syndrome this time around, even though I try my best not to let it get to me cus i know how this story ends. dylan's eyes are just so expressive and intense. I also felt bad for anna this time around. she was selfish always ditching her boyfriend for her career and letting him hang around as a back up, but damn ji cun xi was cheating on her like the whole time!! we don't have to speak morals in a drama like this, but you have to pity anna a little. she was very shitty for SPOILER (giving chen xinyi abortion papers like wtf).

joe chen always seems to be in some sort of romantic relationship where the guy is actively cheating. man what is this!

this drama did so good in fleshing out those side arcs and random events and life lessons and romantic gestures. I genuinely felt the chemistry between Ethan and Joe. They make me gush like no other drama(except for just you). Ji cun xi learning how to make ginger buns, him at the masquerade party with Elaine, him buying Ji nian pin, and him saying 'jia you chen xin yi' were all super memorable!

overall 10/10 story. not surprised it's the highest rated/watched taiwanese idol drama to date(?)

Hi may i request The Trickster x Shy singer reader headcannon?

-Considering that Ji-Woon's murders all involved auditory bases (I.e  screams, cries, begging etc) and was apart of the music industry, he would be more intrigued by you one he found out you were another singer.

-Hell, you wouldn't even have to be a good singer for him to find interest. He was quite a pest for Anna when he first heard the woman's humming. Even getting clocked in the jaw when he inquired if she would scream for him. (Not in that way, but she still didn't appreciate the question even after the explanation)

-(They are on decent terms so long as he keeps his distance.)

-With this being said, Ji-Woon probably would have first heard your singing at the campfire. (I think killers that aren't in a current trial also have access to this area but the entity blocks them from doing any harm to the survivors)

-You'd feel the hair raise on the back of your neck as his eyes honed in on you, only ducking back out of sight when you'd turn to glance around at your surroundings.

-He'd become acutely aware of your timid nature by spending an absurd amount of time observing (stalking) you; taking note how quiet you were when surrounded by others versus when you were alone. 

-Its endearing to him when he would snap a twig under his foot and your voice would go silent, though he would wish to hear you sing just a little louder since the entity keeps him at a distance.

-If you were placed in his trial, he would would sing out to you. Mimicking the same tunes you sung earlier that day. It was a hint that he was always listening and if you would show any reaction he would definitely push further.

-Singing the same melodies back to you would be one of many hints. If he got the chance to be alone with you, you should fully expect that he would boldly ask for you to sing louder for him next time.

-If you actually indulged him and did sing louder the next time you were out of the trials and alone, you might have just pushed his interest into obsession.

-You'd become his song bird and his alone. And he would go to frightful lengths to make it so.

I adored Julie Berry´s "Lovely War" which made me reach for her previous book . This time we travel further back in time, to the 13th century and the south of France and the story is woven around Catholic mysticism, Catholic inquisition and wonderful characters one cannot help but to love. I was a little confused by the last two chapters, which seemingly come out from nowhere, but other than that this was an immersive and at times genuinely moving reading experience.

100-years-war is one of those historical epochs which make my head spin so I am extremely thankful to Barbara Tuchman for writing this book. Excellent! And I finally understand the shit storm that was the 14th-early 15th century France (with a bunch of other nations added as well).

The Marriage of Opposites

As is usual with Alice Hoffman, this is gorgeously written. The two-generational story of a Jewish family settled in the Caribbean and later Paris focuses on how we view our parents and eventually turn into them, even with much of the things we had despised. However I must say that throughout the book I somehow missed some unifying goals the story, I felt, should pursue. The question I had all the time was: what exactly is the main point? I never really got an answer. It was only with the afterword that I realized this was, in a way, a fictional biography of an actual historical person.

Spectacular piece of non-fiction, which among other things, points to the importance of our own reflection of the past we inherited. Sadly, it is also, right now, scarily topical. The only complaint comes from the fact I listened to this as an audiobook. The narrator - Laura Merlington, is excellent, unfortunatelly she butchers pretty much every Russian name and word she says. I can forgive her for Dzerzhinsky, but how does Irina become Iri-Anna???

Rather than a straightforward narrative, this re-telling of the Illiad (and even Odyssey), is more like an interwoven tapestry of short stories. The women we know from the myths - human, Goddesses, Muses - each tell their own story. Natalie Haynes managed to create a poignant, moving - and at times surprisingly funny (looking at you, salty Penelope) addition to familiar story.

Hood Feminism: Notes from the Women That a Movement Forgot

I feel apprehensive about rating this book because I do feel it has important and true things to say, but at the same time, I had some major problems with the way it was presented to me. Firstly, this book is completely USA centric. I could not make sense of all the numerous utterances and mentions of names, cases and examples that are peppered throughout unless I wanted to Google something every few pages. I live in central Europe and we have our own racist and other serious problems as well, but this particular book can only go as far as helping people in my own country to understand some of the vital mechanisms which power our fucked-up society. I understand that was not the intention of the book, but I still feel this is a valid point to make since Hood Feminism has appeared on European markets as well. Secondly, the writing. I pride myself at being quite proficient in English (I especially pride myself at having read TWO Umberto Eco´s books in the said language), but here I felt half the time words were flying over my head, I had to constantly re-read whole paragraphs to understand what was being said. Some things were repeated over and over too. It just felt like the whole thing needed some more editing. Again - this may only be my own problem, however, books and reading are subjective - and valid. I guess this was just not the book for me, even if I can clearly see it can be a hugely impactful book for others.

The Atlas Six

This was, in the end, definitely intriguing enough for me to know I would like to read the next book and it was quite well written as well. However, I must say that throughout there were long parts that just felt like nothing at all was happening, to the point I was considering setting the book down. Some of it also flew right over my head. I suppose we shall see what comes out of the story and if this, as a start of a series, will increase or decrease in my estimation.

Amusing, at times incredibly moving and just perfect for anyone who loves cats. Even more so for people who hate them for no good reason! Cats are precious and their friendship needs to be won and fostered. But history also says that they are always ready to offer that friendship with great loyalty, whenever it is merited.

There is something about Tolkien that always feels like the sweetest comfort, the kindness of childhood and purity of thought. It does not matter if he chooses to put into a verse about a Shadow Bride or kicking a Troll´s butt. It is all welcome and dear to me. Every single word.

Daughter of the Moon Goddess

This was a nice and lush mix of myth, romance and a whole lot of adventure. I could have done without some of the many times repeated facts and the amount of introspection, which rarely lead to some extraordinary epiphany. But I enjoyed it still, a lovely fairytale.

Compendium of the Miraculous

While I read this book nearly from cover to cover, it is exactly what it says: an encyclopedia, and as such you may just look up what you have a particular interest in. Perhaps you are unclear on the various kinds of communication Christians believe God uses to convey his messages. Or perhaps you are interested in how heaven or purgatory have been described by the mystics. Maybe you would like to know a bit about all of the famous Marian apparitions? Or perhaps read a little something on certain saints? Lots of the information is repeated, which one must forgive given the nature of the book (again, this is an encyclopedia - in alphabetical order and while quite comprehensive, not greatly detailed). Richly illustrated by classic works of art, I find this both useful to a Catholic and interesting to anyone interested in Catholicism.

5. wicked games

The next two weeks are a blur. 

You try your best to avoid Jimin, but it doesn’t go without Soomin and Yoongi asking you what was up, and Namjoon trying to speak to you about it again after the last time he asked you. You’re certain Taehyung and Jungkook know something is up too since they’ve stopped asking you to come over. 

Even though you’re mad at Jimin for what happened, you feel like this rift in your friendship is your fault. You’re the one who fell for him, then slept with him, and then didn't know how to deal with just being friends after. 

Things only got worse when you overheard Ji-eun and her friend gushing over him -- apparently things are going great between them and she feels like he likes her too. 

It makes you feel like an idiot for even thinking he would reciprocate your feelings, but nothing makes you feel worse than when you see them hanging out together with a few other friends, looking like a pair of best friends. 

Your hurt quickly turned to anger and you ended up acting out, getting drunk and sleeping with a guy from your economics class, Daeyhun, who you know fancies you. You felt terrible about it the next morning and tried to avoid him but then you heard about a plan Jimin had made with Ji-eun and her friends together and you found yourself on multiple dates with Daehyun. 

Now, all your friends know about him, and when they’ve teased you about him, you feel so uncomfortable, always secretly watching for Jimin’s reaction. But every time you saw his face, it’s as though he doesn't have a care in the world. On a few occasions he would leave the room when Daehyun’s name came up, but he never said anything to you himself.

 Then one night he turned up at the club with Ji-eun. It was a blow you weren’t ready for. 

You tried to be normal that night but every time you saw Ji-eun whisper in his ear, or he’d walk with her and his hand would be on her lower back, there was a burning inside you that wouldn’t go away. 

You left early that night. You hadn’t even had one drink and you slipped out before any of your friends could see you. Walking home you tried to clear your head but no matter what you did, you couldn’t convince yourself to feel better. 

It was then you realised you loved him. You tried to will it away but no matter how hard you tried, the truth was there. Plain and simple. 

Soomin and Yoongi came back that night and Yoongi was talking about how Jimin and Ji-eun looked cute together. Soomin was definitely aware of your unspoken feelings for Jimin since she tried to change the subject, but Yoongi seemed too happy for his friends newfound love interest. 

It hurt you so bad you cried yourself to sleep that night. Soomin heard your sobs and came to calm you down, not asking anything, just comforting you. You woke up with a fever and she stayed home to look after you and despite her useless attempts to make you eat, you felt too sick and just wanted to spend all day holed up in your room.

 It was a night later that you told her. From the start to finish. How you’d slept with Jimin and you knew it was wrong because you felt something for him, and how you’d hoped he felt the same way and for a while you thought he did until he started resuming his usual flirty habits, and then Ji-eun came along and your hopes were shattered. You also told her about your argument with him, if you could call it that -- how he looked after you that night you got drunk, but was mad in the morning and now you’d ruined your 6 years of friendship with him. 

She listened intently, holding back her surprise when you told her what happened on the trip, but she seemed to understand the rest of it. She admitted she knew you liked him, and she also hesitantly told you that she thought he felt the same way, and even she was confused with him spending so much more time with Ji-eun. You asked if any of the other guys knew and she said she’d only spoken about it with Yoongi, and Namjoon had approached them both after he’d picked you up when you left Jimin’s house and they all figured something had gone down between you two. 

You told her it was fine for her to tell Yoongi and Namjoon. (You thought it would be unfair for her to have to keep it from her boyfriend, and with Namjoon, he was Yoongi’s best friend and he already seemed to know half the story). As much as you loved Tae and Jungkook you didn’t want them to know anymore than what they suspected for fear of Jimin finding out.

“I guess this means you’re not gonna come tomorrow morning?” Soomin sighs as she heads out of your room. She’s referring to the plans made to go to a theme park together but you most definitely were not feeling up to it.

You give her an apologetic smile. “Sorry.”

“Don’t be,” she smiles. “Just try to maybe go out with some of your other friends yeah, and eat something would you?”

Nodding, blowing her a kiss before she leaves. 

It’s 8.27am. The front door closes and you realise it’s probably Soomin leaving to meet the boys.

It’s too early to wake up, still being quite dark outside, but your stomach was rumbles like crazy. You haven’t eaten properly in days and you’re famished. A part of you wishes you’d taken up Soomin’s offer for firecracker prawns last night. Now you’ll just have to settle for some toast.

Getting up to use the bathroom, you suddenly feel a rush of dizziness and have to grab on to the bedpost to steady yourself. God I need to eat. You move carefully after that, avoiding any sudden movements. 

Slipping into your robe, you head out of your room and expect an empty apartment but instead you freeze as soon as you step out.

Jimin is here. He looks up right away, eyes meeting yours and your stomach somersaults. 

He’s sitting on the sofa, purposely positioned to face your bedroom door. He looks tired even though his eyes are hidden by locks of his chocolate brown hair. You swallow as your eyes trail down to carved chest in sight thanks to the white tee he’s wearing which dips around the collar slightly, and his sculpted legs straining against the material of his black ripped jeans. 

“Hey,” he says quietly.

“Hi.” Your response is almost a whisper. 

He hesitates, awkwardly explaining his presence. “I’m just waiting for Yoongi to come pick up me and Soomin, she’s gone out to get some stuff from the store.” 

“That’s fine,” you mumble, tearing your gaze away from him and walking over to the kitchen. 

“I heard you’re not feeling well, I hope you get better soon.” His eyes search for yours from across the room, waiting for you to look at him.

The look on his face makes your chest hurt and you suddenly feel the need to cry. “Mhm, thanks.” 

JImin doesn’t say anything in response, but simply waits for you to look at him. You don’t. 

The desire to eat some food is gone and you feel nauseous all over again, feelings of anxiety and guilt and sadness all swirling up a storm inside of you.

Filling up a glass of water instead, you try to make a beeline for your room, forgetting your earlier headrush as the same thing happens and suddenly everything starts spinning. You try to close your eyes to make it stop but before you know it, you’re falling to the floor with a smash as the glass falls out of your hand.

Jimin is rushing over from the second he saw your eyes close. “Y/N!” He kneels beside you, careful to avoid the glass and you find yourself hyper-fixated on his warm hand gently placed on your back. “Are you okay?”

Wincing, you sit back on your heels and nod unconvincingly. “Mhm, I’m fine.” You feel warmth creep uo your neck and begin to feel embarrassed. “I’ll just clean this up,” you mutter, purposefully avoiding his gaze as you slowly try to get up.

Jimin stops you right away, closing his hand on your wrist to keep you grounded. “You’re bleeding,” he says, failing to hide the concern in his voice.

You look down to see blood dripping from your palm -- it must’ve happened when you dropped the glass. “It’s fine,” you answer, pulling your hand out of grasp and standing up slowly. 

As you turn around to grab some tissue, you don’t see the rejection that’s on JImin’s face, but the silence suddenly becomes deafening as he stays standing close by your side, unmoving while you apply pressure to your hand with the tissue.

You’re about to step away and convince him you’re okay, but as you look up and see his expression, you pause. 

Years of friendship mean you know that Jimin is pretty good at hiding his emotions, but right now, he’s not trying to hide anything. 

Anger is etched into his features -- you recognise it in the subtle clench of his jaw and the slight narrowing of his normally round eyes.

Why the hell is he angry at me? You feel yourself getting slightly worked up.

“No,” Jimin says, voice soft yet firm. “It’s not.” He doesn’t wait for you to respond as he takes your arm and pulls you back to the sofa with him. “Sit,” he says, walking back to the kitchen, to wet some paper towels and grabbing disinfectant and a bandage from the drawer.

You can’t help but scoff. “Don’t tell me what to do.” 

Jimin goes still and for a second, you think he’s going to listen, but then he’s walking up to you so fast that you have to take a step back as he approaches. “For God’s sake, Y/N, just listen to me, please.” His eyes search yours and this time, there’s no hiding. His eyes hold nothing but concern for you, and there’s more, but you can’t figure it out. 

In your silence, he pushes your shoulders down so you sit and he lowers himself to kneel in front of you. Then his soft hands are closing around yours and the desire to cry suddenly returns. You haven’t held him in so long, and you want nothing more than to melt into his touch and have him embrace you now, but he doesn’t. 

He works quietly, gently wiping away the blood from the cut on your palm with the damp tissues. You’re watching his face the whole time, taking time to appreciate the little details you haven’t seen in so long. You note that he no longer looks angry now.

He adds some disinfectant to wound, and normally it would hurt but Jimin is caressing your skin soothingly with small circles, squeezing you a little to ease you of some of the pain. The ache in your chest comes back, and you remember how caring Jimin has always been of you -- he’s always done his best to make sure you’re comfortable, ever since that moment he found you crying in the supply closet in school. 

He begins tying the bandage, paying careful attention to everything he’s doing, and you notice his movements slow as he begins tying it, as though he doesn’t want this moment to end. Even when he’s done, he still holds your hand between both of his. “Is that okay?” he murmurs. 

“Yes,” you whisper, breath hitching as he starts stroking your hand with his thumb. Your heart is pounding in your chest and you see his face soften. 

“Y/N,” he exhales, almost inaudibly. Your throat feels tight and your eyes are trained on every one of Jimin’s movements. 

He brings your hand up to his lips, and gently places a small kiss on your exposed skin. 

You don’t feel like any of this is real, you don’t understand... What’s he doing? Is this just his way of a friendly apology? Or is he trying to say more?

Your thoughts are interrupted by the sound of the door unlocking and before Soomin can walk in, Jimin has retreated away from you and is on his feet, walking over to the sink. 

Your face is frozen as Soomin walks in and she must sense the tension in the air as she doesn’t ask any questions except about the blood droplets on the wooden flooring. You just mumble your answer at her, staring at Jimin as he cleans up the broken glass. Yoongi walks in a few minutes later and ushers both of them out the door, Jimin giving you one last look before he leaves, regret etched on his face. 

But regret from what? 

Your head is swimming in thought and you feel so many emotions all at once. You don’t know what he’s thinking but you’ve had enough. You want your best friend back so from that moment you make a conscious decision to be normal with him, and that starts with you hanging out with your friends like you used to.

The following days you make sure any time the guys meet up, you’re there, ready to patch up your friendship with Jimin… except he’s nowhere to be seen. When he doesn’t turn up to your third outing, you ask Taehyung and he just says he’s busy with some assignment.

It’s discouraging but you’re determined to make things right. You almost text him to meet privately but you felt scared you wouldn’t know what to say, so you settle with the idea of warming up to him in a group first.

It doesn’t help that Daehyun has been trying to make plans with you, and you feel terrible that you’re dating him when you know you don’t like him, so you agree to meet him but you keep it a simple coffee date on campus, ready to end things with him. 

But when you meet he’s so sweet and won’t stop filling you in on the details of his past few days he spent with his cousin that had come to visit, but you're tell yourself you need to end things the next time you see him. It doesn’t help that he so sweetly kisses you goodbye at your apartment door. 

Taehyung and Namjoon are already in your apartment, having lunch with Soomin and Yoongi. You spend the rest of the day with them, hoping for Jimin to make an appearance but he doesn’t. 

It’s like that for the next few days, with Jimin being absent, and it doesn’t take long for you to feel annoyed at him. First it seems like he’s trying to make things okay with you, and then all of a sudden he’s just gone awol. Except he hasn’t. 

You spot him on your way to class in a cafe having lunch with his friend from his Human Biology class, and Ji-eun. Something in your chest scream and you felt livid. 

You don’t care about making an effort with him anymore -- you thought he was beginning to show you he cares, but clearly fucking not.

“Ugh, Y/N, please,” Soomin mumbles as she rolls over your bed to lie across your legs. “It’s just one evening, and it’ll go so quick, please?”

Sighing, you take a moment to think. She’s asking you for the second time to come to Yoongi’s surprise birthday party, (after the first time when  you straight up refused). She wants all of you there since it’s only a small party she’s doing for him, and after all you are his best friends. 

“But Soomi, he won’t even notice I’m not there, he’s got you and the other boys.” You would’ve been more okay to go if it was a big party but Yoongi hated those, and you hated the idea of being confined in a room with Jimin -- the possibilities for the night to go sour are endless given how your current relationship with him is.

“No that’s the problem, Jungkook can’t come. He's going on some weekend trip with the other frat house boys, and Tae is going home for his sister’s birthday.” 

“Hm?” You squint down at her as she lies on your lap. “Isn’t Jimin going? They’re his frat buddies too.” 

“Nope, it’s just Kook’s varsity team. And without him and Tae there this weekend, it’ll just be me, Yoongi, Joon and Jimin so if you could co-”

“No. No way.”

“What? Why?!” she whines as she gets up from your lap to sit crossed legged in front of you.

“Because without the boys, there’s only five of us, and let’s be real, you and Yoongi are gonna end up doing your own thing after an hour, leaving me with Joon and Jimin. Not happening,” you say firmly, eyebrows raised and arms crossed as you sit back against your headboard looking away from Soomin.

“You said it yourself,” she continues debating, “Namjoon will be with you guys.”

“It’s gonna be so awkward Soomi!” you exclaim looking at her.

“Okay, look, just come for the surprise at least? We’ll cut the cake and after that you can make up some excuse and leave.” She tilts her head at you and gives you puppy eyes. “Please?”

Those darn puppy eyes. “Fine.” 

“Yay!” she squeals, kissing you on the cheek before jumping off your bed and running towards the door.

“I’m only doing it for Yoongi!” you call out after her as she disappears from your room.

“Love you Y/N!” she shouts back from her room.

YN, you got this. Just be normal, and leave as soon as you get the chance. You take a deep breath before knocking on the door to Namjoon and Yoongi’s house. Much to your relief, Namjoon opens the door, a big grin appearing on his face when he sees you.

“Hey Y/N, how you doing?” he asks as he lets you into the house, and brings you in for a side hug.

“Good. How’re you?” you reply as you both cross the hall, into the kitchen. 

“Not bad. I’ve been getting told off by Soomi a lot though,” he says in a hushed voice as you take a seat by the small island. “Apparently I’m shit at blowing up balloons. I mean how can someone be bad at blowing up balloons?” he looks at you, genuine confusion on his face and you can’t help but laugh. Soomin can be a control freak when it comes to these things and her boyfriend’s birthday is no exception.

“It’s okay Joon, I’ll help her out now, you can relax.” 

“Thanks Y/N,” he sighs, leaning back in his seat and you ruffle his hair as you pass him to find Soomin. 

“Y/N?” Namjoon says before you walk out the kitchen.

“Hm, yeah?” you turn back to face him.

He hesitates before speaking. “Are you and Jimin okay now?”

“Oh, um… I mean, we haven’t exactly spoken…” Your hand wanders to the back of the neck and you look up to see Namjoon looking at you as though he’s waiting for you to say more, but when you don’t he speaks.

“Well just a heads up, he’s in the lounge with Soomi.” 

“Oh, cool, thanks.” You nod appreciatively before turning to walk towards the  sound of Soomin’s voice, feeling your heart beat slightly faster. 

Entering the lounge, you see Soomin standing on a chair tying a happy birthday banner across the wall, with Jimin sitting on the floor, a balloon pump in hand. Soomin doesn’t seem to notice you but Jimin looks up as soon as you walk in. You find yourself staring at each other for a few seconds, your mind blank, before Soomin turns and jumps down from the chair, snapping you both out of it. 

“Y/N, you’re here, perfect. Please help me in the kitchen, Jimin’s almost finished with the balloons.” She turns to glare at him. “You are almost finished, right?”

“Yep,” he says, looking up, but instead of looking at Soomin, he looks at you, giving a half smile. You awkwardly mirror him, unsure of what to do next but thankfully Soomin is tugging at your arm to follow her. You feel Jimin’s gaze following you as you’re dragged into the kitchen. 

Namjoon is slumped across the dining table scrolling through his phone, but upon seeing Soomin he immediately jumps up. 

“Oh Soomi, I was just uh--” he stutters.

“Save it Namjoon,” she cuts him off. “I have a new job for you. Could you lay out all of Yoongi’s presents on the coffee table please?”

He sighs in relief. “Yes, that I can do.”

“Here, take mine too please,” you say, handing him the gift bag you still held in your hand before he heads out of the room leaving you and Soomin alone.

She turns to you immediately. “Well that wasn’t awkward,” she says sarcastically.

“What? Joon?” You’re confused for a second but when she raiss her eyebrow at you, you realise she’s talking about Jimin. “Oh.”

“Oh,” she repeats, smiling as she starts taking out drinks from the bags on the table.

Shrugging, you take one of the bottles, opening it and sipping slowly as she does the same. Truthfully, you don’t even understand what weird place your relationship with Jimin is in, so you can’t say much. 

“Look,” she sighs smirking slightly, “as long as you guys don’t end up biting each other’s heads off, or fucking in Yoongi’s room, I’m cool.” 

You almost spit out your drink at that, head spinning to the door immediately to make sure no one heard. Thankfully no one’s there. 

Soomin starts laughing but you just slap her arm. You’ve told her about how he kissed your hand only a few nights ago and she was sure he must feel something for you. Although it was nice to hear her say it, his recent activities with Ji-eun still have you confused so you refuse to think anything of it now. 

“Anyways,” she says, changing the subject, “what did you get Yoongi?”

“Ooh remember that cologne you liked when we went to the mall together, like a month back?” 

“Omg, the Jo Malone one?!” she questions in shock.

“Yep,” you say with a nod of your head. “I figured I might as well get something you could appreciate too, plus Yoongi is hard to buy for.”

“Omg Y/N, this is why you’re my best friend,” she says, squeezing you tight in a hug. 

It took an hour for Yoongi to come home. Soomin steered you all into the lounge and switched off the lights as you all stood there, party poppers in hand while Soomin held the cake, waiting for Yoongi to walk in. 

You felt a little tense when you had first walked back into the room, not knowing how to be around Jimin, but you centered yourself between Soomin and Namjoon, while he kept to the corner of the room, regularly glancing over at you. He was trying to be discreet so you pretended not to notice. 

When Yoongi finally walked in, he was definitely surprised and had the goofiest grin on his face as you all sang happy birthday to him, even when he hugged you all in turn, drawing Soomin in for a lingering kiss which made you smile. 

The takeout Namjoon had ordered arrived not long after, and you all sat around the coffee table, engaging in conversation, but as you had predicted, Soomin and Yoongi slowly turned their attention to each other, ignoring you and the boys, and by the time you brought the cake out for everyone, Soomi was almost sitting on his lap as they whispered in hushed voices to each other, giggling occasionally. 

You were left in awkward small talk with Jimin and Namjoon, who was trying his best to keep a conversation going which was difficult since neither you or Jimin were giving proper responses.

You began playing with the frayed threads of your ripped jeans, thinking up some excuse to leave, when Jimin puts his plate down, leans back against the sofa, turning to you slightly, and so nonchalantly asks, So, Y/N, how’s Daehyun?”

Your head snaps up immediately, and the shock and anger must show on your face because after looking awkwardly between you and Jimin, Namjoon quickly gets up, mumbling something about his turn to do the dishes.

“What?” you reply curtly.

“Daehyun.” he says, looking at you, eyebrows raised, the slightest hint of a smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. 

It’s almost as if he wants to get a rise out of you. And you were close to giving him one...

He hasn’t even asked me how I am, but he’s asking about Daehyun?! As well as it being so random -- he’s never once shown an interest in his well being before so why now? 

“You’re dating him, no?” he adds following your silence, prompting you to speak.

Your eyes scan his face, looking to see if maybe there’s more to this, but he just picks up his plate and resumes eating his cake. 

“He’s good.” you snap, looking away from him and back down at your jeans. You purposely don’t answer his question about you dating Daehyun -- sure you’ve been on a few dates with him but you weren’t really into him to be “dating”, and you most definitely weren’t anything official.

Out of the corner of your eye, you notice Jimin idly playing with the cake on his plate as a silence falls between you. 

Just as you’re about to ask about Ji-eun, he sighs softly. “That’s nice, I’m happy for you, Y/N.” 

His voice carries more meaning that what he’s saying and just as you turn to look at him, he gets up, avoiding your gaze and walking to the kitchen.

Your eyes follow him as he leaves, not quite believing he just said that. Any anger you felt a minute ago is replaced with that familiar hurt you experienced when you cried that night after the club.

It’s a hurt that reminds you that Jimin isn’t your lover, he’s only a friend and nothing more than that. His words echo in your head… “I’m happy for you.” He didn’t seem particularly happy, but he’s never said anything else about you seeing Daehyun.

You could hear him and Namjoon talking in the kitchen and you suddenly want to leave. You quickly say bye to Soomin and Yoongi who are still cuddling on the couch, and then hesitate as you decide whether or not to say bye to the boys -- you want to say bye to Namjoon but you’d much rather avoid Jimin, so instead you grab your phone and your keys, and quietly leave the house to drive home. 

After making your coffee, you walk into your room to return to the desk and the masses of notes that are all around your laptop. With everything you’ve been feeling recently, i’s easier to just drown yourself in studying, even on a Sunday afternoon. Soomin spent the night with Yoongi and she still hasn’t returned, so it gives you ample time to catch up on your assignments.

Sitting down, you take a long sip of coffee, ready to get lost in the work again, when your phone vibrates. You debate on whether or not to check what it is because you know if you pick it up, then you’ll end up scrolling through Instagram or something sincfe you’re prone to procrastination, but you still pick it up.

[12:37pm] Namjoon: hey, you free?

You stare at the message for a good minute, contemplating whether or not to lie. You are free for a conversation but you aren’t sure if you want to speak to Namjoon -- you know he’s going to ask you about yesterday, about you and Jimin, and you don’t really want to talk about that. 

But you’re also curious to know whether or not Jimin said anything to him, plus Namjoon can be pretty insightful on these things, so you reply, “Yes.”

Putting your phone down, you let your head drop back as you lean back in the chair, waiting for Namjoon to reply. You aren’t sure exactly what to tell him, or what he already knows since you told Soomin that she could talk to him and Yoongi about it.

Your thoughts are interrupted by your phone ringing. You slowly reach for it, taking a deep breath for answering.

“Hey, Joon.”

“Hey, what you doing?” he replies casually.

“Just some work. Why’d you call, what’s up?” You just wanted to get straight to the point.

“Yeah, so I wanted to ask you, uh, and you don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want to, but like, you and Jimin…” he pauses for second, “I mean, what the hell, Y/N?” he asks, his voice heavy with concern and confusion.

Ypu hesitate. “Well, we’re still…um... I don’t really…”

“Y/N?” 

 A heavy sigh escapes you. “I don’t really know.”

“Listen,” Namjoon speaks with clear conviction, “you guys are best friends, nothing can change that. I honestly think you've both just got your wires crossed and need to hash things out.”

“I wouldn’t be so sure about nothing changing us,” you mumble.

“No, Y/N, I mean it. Soomi spoke to me and Yoongi, I know what went down between you guys and I still believe you guys will be fine.”

“But it's not that simple Joon. I think…,” you take a second to decide whether you were gonna let the next words leave your mouth, but Namjoon says them for you.

“You think you like him... right?”

You groan, dropping your head to your desk, phone still to your ear. “Mhm.”

Namjoon just laughs lightly. “That doesn’t change all those years of friendship. You were friends first, and I don’t know what Jimin’s thinking about all this but there’s no way he’d wanna lose that.”

You sit up straight. “Well he has a funny way of showing it.” Your voice is laced with scorn.

“Ah yeah, he was a bit off yesterday that’s for sure.”

“Did he say anything when he came into the kitchen?”

“Nah, he just asked me what I got Yoongi for his birthday, and then we started talking about the game last night.”

“Oh.” You feel your heart drop a little. 

Namjoon picks up on your disappointment. “Y/N, one bad day doesn’t mean anything.” he reassures you. “Just talk to him, please?”

“Okay, fine, I’ll try” you huff. “But no promises.”

You really did mean it when you said you’d try, After all, Jimin is your best friend and he means the world to you, whether you like him as more or not. But then...

You almost choke on your food when Soomin tells you.

“Jimin’s dating Ji-eun.” 

She really didn’t want you to find out because she wanted to protect your feelings, but she knew if she didn’t tell you herself, then you’d find out some other way. That would be worse, so she thought it was best to tell you when it was just the two of you in the privacy of your own apartment. 

YShe waits for you to respond, but you’re still staring at her, confusion evident on your face but there’s more hurt than anything. Soomin knows you better than anyone, so dutifully, she rips off the bandaid and finished telling you what you need to know.

“Tae told me. He said she asked Jimin out, um, on a date last weekend, and, well, she kissed him… at first he wasn’t so sure but he met her last night, and when he went back home, he told the boys they were… official,” Soomin finishes. Her face was watching you carefully for some kind of a reaction, but you were completely still. 

You can’t feel anything. Your knuckles go white as you grip your fork so hard, trying to process what you’d just heard... but you can’t. The words repeat again and again in your head.

…Jimin doesn't love you like you love him.

“Y/N…” Soomin’s voice falters.

You look up to meet her eyes, seeing the sympathy and concern in them.

All of a sudden, you’re crying. 

You cry for the rest of the night, and no matter what Soomi does she can’t seem to make you stop. 

You’re shaking constantly and you can’t control your breathing properly. She calls Yoongi, and they spend the night doing everything they can to comfort you, taking turns to hold you, and as grateful as you are that they’re there for you, there’s really only one person who you wanted to hold you...

Jimin.

He’s the only one who has ever been able to calm you down, and now he can’t be here because he is the reason you’re like this now.

210713 IN PHOTOS: All the times Super Junior's Heechul dressed up as a girl

In the K-pop industry, it's pretty common to see male idols crossdress as females for fun. But one male idol stands out among all of them and it's none other than Super Junior's Kim Heechul.

Heechul serves as Super Junior's visual, vocalist, and rapper. Thanks to his amazing yet androgynous features, the South Korean pop idol can claim the looks of both a guy and a girl that would often lead many to say, “He is prettier than me.”

Despite knowing his gorgeous visual, Heechul never lets it get to his head and claims that it's all about confidence.

In an episode of “My Ugly Duckling,” he was quoted to say, “In the end, it boils down to confidence. In my opinion, you don't need looks at all.”

Heechul has portrayed many roles as a beautiful woman since making his debut with the legendary K-pop boy group, making it one of his strongest suits in the South Korean entertainment industry.

From Hee-sica (a portmanteau of his name with SNSD's Jessica) to his portrayal as Seo Ye-ji in an advert for a chicken ad, let's take a look at all the times he's dressed as a woman (and became way prettier than most of us) in this gallery:

The most iconic look from Heechul would have to be when he dressed up as Girls' Generation's Jessica Jung. He even called himself “Hee-sica” who made its debut in 2009 when Super Junior became guests at the variety show 'Intimate Note.'

Rokkugo

But prior to the debut of Hee-sica, Heechul already showcased his androgynous look when he crossdressed as a lady in Super Junior-T's music video 'Rokkugo.' In the trot music video, he acted as a girl who had fallen for all the members.

During Super Junior concerts, Heechul and the other members sometimes transform into girls. That's why in their third concert, 'Super Show 3,' Heechul appeared as Lady Gaga and called himself “Lady HeeHee.” He even performed “Pokerface” and “Crazy in Love” with members Shindong, Eunhyuk, and Donghae.

In the following concerts, he chose to dress up as Elsa's sister Anna from the same movie. When asked why the sudden change in costume, he reportedly said that he didn't like girls with heavy makeup and preferred a more natural look like Anna.

Heechul boasted his amazing looks by playing the exotic princess Nie Xiaoqian from the popular Chinese movie, 'A Chinese Ghost Story.'

Hee-mi

Whenever he plays his girl counterpart in 'Knowing Brothers,' he always uses the name Hee-mi. Because of his looks, some guests couldn't help but be dazzled by the amazing features Heechul has.

Even without the wig and the makeup, Heechul is known for having a very androgynous look earning him the nickname of being “Prettier than Female.” Because of this, rumors have circulated about his sexuality. MC: Is no one accompanying me to gather materials? 

Right after my words are spoken, the people in the office hurriedly busy themselves with work.

Three days ago, the company received a certain seaside town’s invitation to do an advertisement photoshoot. The town just opened not too long ago, and wants to use this advertisement to attract visitors.

Before planning for the photoshoot, the company has to send people over to gather materials. However, everyone is busy with other shoots. 

Furthermore, the trip will take place over the weekend, which makes people even less willing to go for it. The task to gather materials naturally falls on my shoulders.

I’m just worried that if I were to gather materials on my own, the materials collected may be overly subjective. Having one additional person would mean more perspectives.

Kiki: Boss, it’s not that I don’t want to accompany you, but I have too many miscellaneous things on hand!

In the corner, Willow shakes her head repeatedly, and Anna waves the file in her hand. Only Minor furtively leans towards my desk. 

Minor: MC, if I were you, I’d ask Gavin to come along. It’s such a good opportunity to travel, so of course I'd “use the public office for private gain”.

[Note] Minor uses the idiom “假公济私” (“jia gong ji si”), which refers to a person who abuses his public authority to pursue private interests.

MC: ...I’m going there to scout the location.

Minor: It’s exactly because you’re there to scout the location that you should enjoy yourself even more.

MC: What kind of a principle is that?

Minor: Let me ask you this - why did the other party look for us to do the advertisement shoot?

MC: ...to attract tourists. 

Minor: And why would tourists want to come to this town?

MC: To be happy and have fun.

I seem to have spoken the words in Minor’s heart, and he excitedly thumps the table.

Minor: So if the director of the advertisement shoot can’t even experience the joy of this town, how can it attract tourists?!

Kiki: That does makes sense. 

Willow nods her head repeatedly. Even Anna gives me an affirmative, slight smile. 

Although it sounds a little out of place, it does seem to be the case. To present interesting content, the creator has to immerse in it first. 

If I were to go together with Gavin, I’d definitely reap double the amount of happiness. 

While thinking along these lines, I whip out my phone to give Gavin a call.

MC: Gavin, I’ll be going to a tourist town to gather materials the day after tomorrow. Want to go together? 

Gavin: Sure. 

MC: ...you aren’t going to ask how long the trip will be? 

Gavin: I don’t have many cases to handle lately. Also, it’d be with you.

MC: So it’s settled. See you in the afternoon on the day after tomorrow!

Gavin: Mm, I’ll pick you up. Wear something thicker - it’s already early autumn.

MC: Mm!

It’s already the beginning of autumn... I wonder what kind of memories Gavin and I would leave behind in autumn this year...

I didn’t expect that Gavin and I would be mistaken as students in this university, and even invited to participate in a competition. Slightly embarrassed, I hurriedly wave my hands. 

MC: We’re not...

Boy A: The rules are very simple! If you make 3 three-pointers out of 5 shots, you can bring back a stuffed animal.

He points at the picture of a gigantic rabbit stuffed toy on the leaflet. It’s fluffy ears are pinkish, and it looks incredibly cute. 

Boy A: Not winning a stuffed toy for your girlfriend? She seems to like it very much.

While I’m still thinking of how to reject him, Gavin has already agreed.

Gavin: Lead the way.

I’m dumbfounded. Gavin gives our interlocked hands a squeeze, pulling me closer to him.

Gavin: The rabbit stuffed toy - do you like it? 

MC: I like it, but there’s really no need to participate. 

Gavin: Since we’re already here, why not experience it. Whatever you like, I’ll help you get it. 

He looks at me seriously as he speaks. His eyes are full of light. My heart suddenly feels warm, as though great strength has been poured into it.

A revista Dazed Korea revelou hoje o ensaio fotográfico e entrevista feitos com o grupo rookie Supernova no dia 23 de agosto. As meninas foram questionadas acerca de seus planos futuros como grupo, inspirações e o relacionamento com ex-colegas do H Producer.

As fotos têm como ambientação um estúdio fechado, predominante de tons claros e procurando evocar o sentimento das estações frias próximas. Igualmente, o figurino distancia-se do clima de verão e traz roupagens mais fechadas e sóbrias.

Apesar das expressões sérias e cativantes do ensaio, foi revelado que as meninas brincaram entre si e com os staffs no estúdio enquanto trocavam figurinos e assistiam umas às outras, provocando risadas contagiantes no local.
