Went to #HarlemMeer for the first time today. Learned three things: 1- bluegill are aptly named, 2- bluegill fins are SHARP! And 3- flyfishers are definitely happy to see other flyfishers; I had two people give me flies, and I caught fish on both of them! My niece woke me up before 7am this morning...😑 But upside, I got to fish this morning. Saw what I think was a sizeable brown trout swim up to then reject my chartreuse wooly bugger. Caught two creek chub though, including this guy! My biggest creek chub ever!
