depending on other’s was futile, dominic had come to learn. the human race tended to do nothing but disappoint ninety seven percent of the time. he preferred to operate alone, keeping to himself outside of BUSINESS purposes. yet here he was, sitting on hallway carpet that no doubt had costed more than the tiny little bedroom apartment he had grown up in. what was he doing here? he wasn’t quite sure. or at least that was what he preferred to tell himself. he knew magnus’s room was directly to his left. it wasn’t often that he ached for the sole comfort of another person but there was a first time for everything he was slowly beginning to figure out. with a heavy sigh, he pulled himself up off the floor, wiping sweat palms on the front of his jeans. surely he was crossing some kind of line. breaking some kind of rule. but then again. weren’t rules made to be broken? a moment later he found himself knocking on the brass door in front of him, a part of him slowly praying to the heavens that magnus had stepped out.

every love i’ve experienced? i don’t think i’ve ever been in love with anyone. i’ve loved my family though, particularly my brother, but also my sisters. my family means absolutely everything to me. i would do anything for them... anything. i love elina and magnus. they’re basically family to me, even now. they’re a different kind of family though, even though we did all grow up together. i love callum’s family. i’ve known them pretty much since i was born, spent every summer with them... i guess... i guess i love call too, though maybe not necessarily in the way you’re meant to love a husband yet. yet.
