With our conversation in the comments, I figured it might be best to put this one in ask form XD so here goes;
Your latest comment really got me thinking. I actually hadn't considered this before! And it just clicked.
And it makes sense, too. Since toon physics can still overwhelm human physics despite them coming into our world. And we see how toon logic can still be used either against them or for them, usually resulting in what would be a punchline in a cartoon, but wouldn't work at all among humans.
From what we see in toontown, they look to be being of chaos (I know that sounds ridiculous. This is the best phrase I could think of 😅). They thrive in it, they work with it, all of it. And chaos can just- do whatever it wants. And since we plainly see toons being able to do whatever they want (to an extent. Like the weasels couldn't just stop laughing when they felt like it), it'd make sense if they had some kind of way to control their little reality to benefit them in some way. Usually for comedy like you said, but they can easily use this in romance or other aspects of life, too. (I'm genuinely so excited! This never occurred to me, and after you said it just makes so much more sense now. So many opportunities are unlocked with this!)
I'll be honest, my headcannon was that toons had some type of magic in them. Yeah, I know that's kind of cheating, allowing me to say that anything they do is a result of magic, and it would ask how they got it (like did a human create them with magic? Or are they just magical beings that showed up a long time ago?). I wasn't really happy with it, but it was the best I could think of for a while. But I like this more ^^
Tldr; I think you just unlocked the great mystery to how toons in WFRR work. They can just bend reality however they need in some way that best suits them. Maybe that's how Doom was able to kill Teddy despite supposedly dropping a toon piano on him; he just willed it to be deadly and nit a gag.
I’m glad the idea tracks! Tbh I think the HC that toons have magic or are magic makes sense too. One could argue that creating entertainment (stories, movies, tv, music, etc.) is the human way of creating magic when in reality it doesn’t quite exist. And it’s practically outright stated that toons exist to entertain (human) people. Therefore, toons embody magic itself.
Although this probably makes sense only if humans came first, but the possibility that somehow toons existed before humans really intrigues me!
Also, Doom’s existence is kind of blowing my mind now with that possibility of Doom willing the piano to kill Teddy. If that was the case then that means Doom figured out how to circumvent the restrictions of his own existence. If he was created to be a cartoon villain, then he should only be able to harm other toons but murdering a human goes against that entirely. Despite that, Doom still exists. He’s bent the laws of toon nature as well human nature to his will. And in a very weird way, he’s a prime example as to why toons should have equal rights with humans in the WFRR world bc his actions have a lasting impact on both humans and toons that goes beyond simply making people laugh.
#who framed roger rabbit#wfrr#Long post#Judge doom#It’s also incredibly crazy and crazy incredible that he becomes a JUDGE after this#one specializing in the due process of toons#If he weren’t evil and masquerading as a human he might’ve been a champion for equal rights and human toon relations

After that angst post of Poppy's family, I owe her with a wholesome post of her family. Her family in an alternate timeline at least
Poppy & Roger (Featuring Jessica)
(LOOK AT THEM!!! LOOK AT THE RABBIT GIF I FOUND PLEASE!!!)
How they meet and know each other all depends in how toons are created. I.E, are they born, have families the human way, and die like humans (like the toons in the book)? Or are they drawn out, brought to life with paint and ink, and are essentially immortal?
In Poppy's canon timeline, it's just her. She doesn't know Roger as a person, only as a cartoon celebrity. But I liked the idea of these two knowing each other and being family, so it is an official alternate timeline that she abd Roger are related.
If toons are created, then Poppy and Roger would be related only through their animator. Poppy's animator used to work for Stein Studios before he was given a job opportunity at Maroon Cartoons and left. And that was when he made Roger Rabbit.
Poppy and Roger wouldn't have known they were related until after they met. Both of them shopping at the same grocery store, and they happen to cross paths while he's in a chatty mood. He saw that she was reaching for the same brand of bread, commented on how they have the same taste, and the conversation would just spiral from there.
It would be pretty jarring to Poppy, not at all used to people just starting these long winded conversations with her. But Roger seems friendly enough, and he isn't scaring her or anything. So she would listen, nod along with a smile, and then add her own comments when she was comfortable enough.
Since Roger has a bad habit of sharing too much information, he would have eventually talked about who drew him and how grateful he was to be here mow because of him. The familiar name would catch her off guard; Poppy doesn't keep in contact with their animator, but she does still remember his name all these years. And she would have pointed out that her own creator shares that same name, a bit of back and forth, and then these two would have found out it's the same guy.
Honestly, calling them cousins in this regard is kind of stretching it. If toons were related by simply having the same animator, there would be issues, such as toons who are married but were drawn by the same person. But both Poppy and Roger liked each other, and they really wanted someone to call their family. Someone who was really real, and not just made up for their respective cartoons. So they used this as a reason to exchange phone numbers and promise to catch up more. And that would be how Poppy and Roger's relationship would evolve.
If toons are born, then they would be blood cousins. Poppy would be older than him by one year (Poppy is 27, and Roger is 26). Even though they are just cousins, they'd have more of a sibling relationship because they just grew that close. There are more details in my post about Poppy's family, but basically, she would be the black sheep of the family, and Roger was the family member that she managed to bond with the most.
She's grown a bit distant from the rest of the family, some members more than others, and stopped coming to family reunions for reasons she'd rather not open up about. So she's kind of become that one mystery family member that the others wonder about. Though Roger is the one who she keeps close contact with, and knows whats really going on with her; if you want to know what's actually going on with this mystery cousin, just ask Roger or Jessica.
However they are related, Roger and Poppy would be pretty much the perfect example of a 'sunny extrovert adopts shy introvert' relationship. Roger is the ball of overly positive energy, and she's the more quiet, cautious bundle of nerves. He is happy to share his life with her, and always invites her to events so she knows she's wanted, and Poppy always looks out for him and tries to make sure he isn't pushing himself too hard.
Her concern for him would really shine through when he first met Jessica (assuming they met after he and Poppy found each other). I have a feeling Jessica was Roger's first love, and he was just so smitten with this kind, strong, loving woman. Poppy however, she's got a few exes, two of which were bad eggs. As such, she's learned to be more cautious with romance, and was worried Roger might get himself hurt. She offered him her best romantic advice though instead of discouraging him, hoping that this woman was genuinely good for him.
When she got to meet Jessica, Poppy was reassured that she made the right choice to trust Roger.
Alright, how about some tidbits?
Roger and Poppy are opposites in many ways. One of them is that she loves insects, while he's actually afraid of them. Poppy would be buzzing in excitement if a mantis or spider crawled onto her. Roger however... Well, the short 'Trail Mix-Up' sums it up perfectly.
Poppy: *sees a caterpillar on Roger, and starts getting excited* "Oh my gosh! Roger, you have a little buddy!"
Roger: *shaking* "R-R-Really?"
Poppy: "Yes! Wait, wait, hold still! Let me get the camera!" *dashes off*
Roger: *trying so hard not to scream and run around*
While Roger prefers carrot cake- especially if his wife baked it, Poppy prefers rhubarb pie. If either of them are coming over to the others house, they'll bake the other's favorite dessert to go with some tea.
Poppy actually doesn't like it when Roger comes Downtown though. She knows he's way too naive for his own good. And she loves him, but even she can admit that he can be a... Bit much for strangers. Especially the tired or more unlaeful residents on her side of Toontown. If she knows Roger is coming over, she'll insist they meet up together and she'll guide him around Downtown, and make sure he doesn't get himself in trouble.
Poppy doesn't like publicity or attention for being related to a popular toon. But Roger still wants to talk about her, so- with her permission! He'll say, 'My cousin actually helped me with my lines' or 'My cousin is so supportive'. Giving her the credit he believes she deserves, while also giving her the anonymity she wants. Poppy appreciates very much.
Being related to a star, Poppy knows a little bit more about various celebrities. For example, she knows Baby Herman a bit more personally (she's not too fond of him) because Roger introduced them. And she knows Benny, because Roger put in a good word for her, and now she gets rides from him (she does like Benny, even if he is a bit loud for her).
As stated, she and Jessica would absolutely get along. Honestly, Poppy could use a BAMF like Jessica as a friend. These two gals can relate in trying to keep Roger out of trouble, and being more mellow compared to most other toons. Poppy was the first family member of the Rabbit clan to welcome Jessica into the family.
If Poppy and Roger were related, she would have taken a bigger role in the events of the film. She would be right there with Herman trying to convince Eddie to help Roger, and she would have wound up sticking around long enough to find out her cousin was in Valient's office this whole time. And she'd just get pulled into this crazy adventure, trying to prove Roger and Jessica are innocent.
That's all I've got. I hope this brings a smile on someone's face ^^

New AU + AU Info~!
Although it's been around for a couple months now, I'm bringing the Schoolverse in as part of my official AU list seeing as just how much I actually enjoy writing it~! Underneath will be extra info regarding the AU~!
As ever, all muses are 18+!!! This is a non-negotiable rule for this AU.
With that little bit of seriousness out the way though, now into the actual info.
General: As the name suggests, this AU is based around a school setting, specifically Lewdville Academy. As well as classes, there are extra curriculars, clubs, fundraisers and various other activities that muses participate in. Lewdville advertises as a "Girls only school" though does allow male students to join, under extremely special circumstances, though these individuals will also be subject to the same rules and uniform as every other student.
Muse roles: Most muses are students, though a handful are teachers. Their specialty subjects relate towards that muse's individual skills (i.e. Jessica Rabbit is a phenomenal singer within WFRR and as such is a music teacher. Bayonetta being a nun makes more than qualified as a Religious Education (RE) teacher). One exception is myself (Lewdy) who, naturally takes the role of Headmistress~
Houses/groups: Muses are split off into their respective houses based upon the muse list. The current houses are as follows; DC, RWBY, MHA, Overwatch, Nintendo, Danganronpa, Misc. Houses will generally tend to act as teams though all students are free to interact with each other.
Uniforms: As per standard, Lewdville Academy has a uniform policy for students. Unlike most educational institution, this academy prides itself on allowing expression of self by allowing students multiple choices with aspects of the dress code. With this said, the uniform is as follows; Footwear is to be black (or mostly black) and preferably smart (although this is not thoroughly enforced). Students may choose to wear socks, stockings or tights that are black or white and patternless. The length of socks and stockings is up to the student. Next is a choice between black leggings or a black pleated skirt, no shorter than one quarter of a student's thigh. A white shirt or blouse is to be worn along with Lewdville Academy's navy blue or black blazer or pullover. Lastly, ties respective of one of the academy's houses; Yellow and White (OW), Navy Blue (DC), Rose Red (RWBY), Red and White (Nintendo), Black and White (Danganronpa) or plain black (Misc).
Interacting with the AU: As with all my AUs, interacting may seem intimidating but know you're always free up drop a PM or an ask, I don't bite. As for general rules, Muses which aren't mine (interacting muses) will be treated as exchange/visiting students and teachers or other roles depending on context. Anons/unnamed characters interacting can be more playfully written in and interacted with~

I am still thinking ways of writing and making a dark twisted toon?!
Changes we be needed
Example: changing the schools. By making them high schoolers to college students.
Judge doom to janitor to principal
I want it to follow the idea of the film who framed roger rabbit but more school related but. I could think of new ideas for another au to wfrr.
However, for now this is where i will go along with.
I am also thinking using Matilda as an example. For judge doom's attitude to everyone and energy after marvin dies.
I have been listening to alot writing/character videos to improve that mentally.

You know what? Seeing what Disney is doing to Toontown is really emotionally painful.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit is my all-time favorite movie. It’s influenced nearly every aspect of my life, and re-discovering it in my teens set the course of my life as an artist since then. And I absolutely adore the whole 1930-40s Hollywood cartoon aesthetic and universe. I grew up on classic Looney Tunes and Tex Avery, as well as classic Disney films. If I could achieve the impossible, I’d be a toon and live in Toontown, just as much as other people wish they could be a Hobbit or learn magic at Hogwarts.
Toontown has kinda been living in my head for the past fifteen years. I don’t know how many frames of the movie and photos of the attractions I’ve scoured, pouring other every detail, tracking down all the Roger Rabbit comics, keeping tabs on Acme products, and pondering over how every other Western cartoon relates to it. Every tiny detail is part of a larger canon that is by far my favorite fictional universe.
It isn’t the fault of the audience that Roger isn’t nearly as popular as he used to be, it’s Steven Spielberg’s selfishness and Disney’s near-total indifference. It’s not like Disney as a brand hasn’t banked on nostalgia and re-packaging the same content over and over before, or that people can’t just watch WFRR right now on Disney+.
I don’t mind refurbishing Toontown as a general principle. It’s needed repainting for decades, and more than that, it needs an overall grime removal from all the nooks and crannies, like the windows and doorknobs. And I’ve felt for a long time that Car Toon Spin could use a technological upgrade- it could use new, fully articulate animatronics, maybe those kinds with the projected faces. And maybe make more of the two-dimensional painted props and backdrops into three-dimensional ones.
But making the effing Paul Rudish Mickey Mouse shoehorned into it is crossing a line. I’ve already expressed my extreme dislike of that series on my blog, but to summarize, that version of Mickey is indefensibly unrecognizable as ANY incarnation of Mickey that ever existed. And I’ve said many times how I abhor revisionist reboots and the way they make people argue and fight each other.
I could probably get into a dozen-pages-long rant about how I would do things differently regarding everything Disney plans to do, but I have neither the time nor the energy for it. But overall, it hurts seeing Toontown get messed around with so much.

Give us all you animaniacs hcs (especially the lgbtq+ ones)((please))
Oh man I have so many to tell asfhjahsbsb I'm gonna leave out some of the more darker HC I have for this show (well technically, they are wildly-outlandish theories about where the Warner trio was for those 20+ years before the current time of the reboot, just gonna exclude those for now)
Ight imma start with the lgbtq+ headcannons first
Wakko: Nonbinary (Uses He/Them Pronouns)
Dot : Trans (Uses She/Her pronouns) and Pan
Yakko : Bi and Ace (Biromantic I believe it's called? Please correct me if I'm wrong on that)
On an unrelated note, Yakko is a whole mood
lmao look at my tiny clown-faced-puppy disaster son being the dramatic Bi-Ace icon he is when he's basically about to "die"
If you ever asked my younger siblings, they would tell you that I would 100% do the same shit, maybe even start singing "Little Miss Perfect" out of pure spite
Who knew me, as the oldest of a sibling trio would relate to the oldest of another sibling trio
ANYWHO BACK TO HEADCANNON STUFF BECAUSE YES
Oh man lemme start with Yakko HCs because he's the character I project so much on to nowadays:
Yakko
All his senses are very sensitive compared to the other two, sometimes he'll get really overwhelmed by bright lights, strong flavors, loud noise, etc... he feels like he's being dumb everytime he has a problem with anything regarding his senses.
Lights and noise: Sometimes it just gets too much for him if he's exposed to constant loud noise and bright lights to the point where he'll start crying or yelling (especially if noise is the main problem) out of stress from it.
Strong flavors: He will visibly shudder in response to a very strong and very noticable flavor. He honestly prefers to eat blander foods over savory dishes. With that being said, he hates spicy food with a burning passion.
Very unwilling to go to someone for help or comfort when he's genuinely having a crisis over how he views himself. If anything, he's will try to do literally almost anything to avoid having that sort of conversation, especially with Dr. Scratchansniff.
He will however go to Dr. Scratchansniff or another trusted adult for advice if he needs help for how to take care of his siblings or just for general advice on stuff.
He hates being picked up or hugged with zero warning.
The only people who he doesnt mind doing this are Wakko and Dot, of course. If anyone else tries it though, he'll bite them and yes, this includes Dr. Scratchansniff as well. He may be the closest thing to them as a parental figure (in the 90's show at least), but he's not in the same close knit circle Yakko is in with Wakko and Dot.
His main hobby is drawing, it's his go to coping mechanism if he's not up to cracking a joke(while he's in the watertower) as well.
He needs glasses/wears contacts (ones made specifically for toons I guess)
Prefers reading books over watching anything on TV/electronic devices in general.
If either or both of his siblings can't sleep, he'll sing them a lullaby 💕
Off-set/off-screen/ outside of the recording for animaniacs Yakko usually wears these thick, oversized hoodies, and he will refuse to take it off.
This is because Yakko feels really weird and off when his arms aren't covered(sometimes there is this random phantom ache in his arms that just wont go away until he covers them. It's not like painful, painful, but just really annoying at times.) Even if it's hot as hell outside, he will not take it off. Wakko and Dot usually have to wrestle to get it off him, otherwise Yakko will faint/have a heat stroke. They make a compromise by agreeing to Yakko wearing long sleeves, so long as they're made out of light material.
If he needs caffeine to "wake up" but is too damn tired to do so, Yakko will not hesitate to just straight-up eat pure coffee beans.
Wakko
For anything else, he does not mind eating food with very strong flavors, he actually enjoys spicy food (the spicier, the better), but for cereal they prefer the blandest one. Bland food is comforting to him (also doesnt want his brother to feel bad about not liking a lot of the savory foods he and Dot like)
Doesnt have much of a problem expressing himself. If he genuinely feels bad about something regarding themself, he wont hesitate to go to Yakko (sometimes he'll go to Dot if she happens to be there first, but 95% of the time he'll go to Yakko)
They actually likes being picked up and carried, but only by family and close friends. Any stranger who tries to pick him up will receive angry claw marks to the face.
Main hobby is composing music (instumentals). They will let Yakko or Dot write lyrics if they're feeling sad or bored (or as a sibling bonding activity too)
Favorite TV show is the Looney Tunes (classic cartoons)
He gives comfort to his sibs by just being there for them as a shoulder to cry on.
They don't like having their hat off for an extended period of time often. It's a source of comfort and his way of expressing his identity.
Is the one who usually has to stop Yakko from eating bare coffee beans when he's too tired to actually make coffee.
Dot
She's pretty in the middle when it comes to food.
If it's a minor thing, she'll usually just talk to Wakko about it. If it's something more serious, she'll go to Yakko about it.
She only let's Yakko and Wakko touch her or carry her. Outside of those two, she only let's Dr. Scratchansniff carry her. For anyone else, she will clobber anyone who makes an attempt to do so. She just really hates it when if comes to anyone else.
Main hobbies are sewing and designing clothes. She'll have her siblings model her clothes for her (they are very eager to do so everytime). It provides a good distraction for either Yakko or Wakko if they're down or frustrated about something. It's just super fun.
Really loves (well-made) action movies, it's like her favorite genre of movies.
Gives comfort by providing her siblings with soft materials (like blankets or pillows). She'll drape herself over either of them to provide a comforting pressure.
She expresses herself through her iconic pink skirt and flower scrunchie. Both are her favorite articles of clothing because her siblings were the ones who got them for her. (Yakko sewed the pink skirt; he was the one to teach Dot how to sew 💕)
She's a last resort to stopping Yakko from eating the coffee beans raw.
Original vs. Reboot headcannons
The original 1990's show is more "On-stage", having for educational songs and skits, whereas the 2020 Reboot/revival is more "Off-Stage" with the occasional show skit, hence any inconsistencies with the characters' personalities, especially Yakko.
Both shows take place in the same type of setting as "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" (The idea of cartoons existing as real entities alongside humans; I got a lot of WFRR vibes during Sufferage City with the whole "Cartoon Rights" part especially)
Well that's about as much as I can write for now, I have more headcannons of course, but I found this to be a good place to stop.
These are just my personal headcannons of the Warner Trio, I don't really have any for Pinky and the Brain, but I wanna know what some of your guy's headcannons are for any aspect of the shows!

I do genuinely wonder how human-toon relations would work in the WFRR universe concerning pattycake. Initially we, the audience, are led to believe it’s a euphemism for sex — and then the joke is that it’s literally playing pattycake.
BUT, Jessica is incredibly vocal while playing it, as if she is being ravished by dear Mr. Acme. So it makes me wonder if, if a human and toon were dating, would that be a barrier in a stereotypically romantic/sexual partnership? Would the toon have a literally explosive orgasm from playing the game and then the human would have to take care of their own needs?
I’m genuinely fascinated by the logistics. Also, if my theory of toons being able to paint “equipment” on could be a thing, would they have to get rid of it afterward? Gruesome, but still fascinating imo.
#who framed roger rabbit#wfrr#listen the movie is generally pretty adult so I don’t think I’m too far outside the box here#We are very much blending wfrr and cool world logic here#esp if we bring procreation into the mix#nsft text

Some Toon!Verse headcanons because a WFRR related video popped up in my Youtube recommendations recently:
Much like the concept in the Who Censored Roger Rabbit book of toons “crossing over” to act more human, Alca and her syndicate have gone through the same thing when they lived in Chicago due to being surrounded by way more humans than toons. This was also a way for them to fit in and willingly become less toon-like.
They can handle realistic objects easily and prefer to use those than toon objects that can literally talk back.
They were also able to successfully suppress all means of censorship in toons such bleeping out swear words and blurring out obscene hand gestures.
Even saying a swear word in the innocent and friendly Toon Town won’t get bleeped out; it’ll be heard loud and clear
However, because of how human-like they are, they can’t take a lot of abuse/physical pain and be perfectly fine quickly like toons can; ex. getting crushed by a piano could easily kill them and shooting or stabbing them will result in bleeding/injury rather than being covered in perfectly hollow holes.
Once they die, they die. No angel floating out their bodies or anything.
A plus side, though: they can’t die from Dip because of how “human” they are. Should they be exposed to it, they feel nauseous and dizziness from the fumes. If the Dip touches them, it gives an itching and burning feeling to their skin.
There are a few toon perks that Alca and her gang have decided to keep such as having hammerspace, having stars and dollar signs appear in their eyes or over their heads, and the ability to stretch out their faces. Though, the third is mostly used to make scary faces to freak out and intimidate other toons (and sometimes humans) for their own entertainment.

All the rest of WFRR characters loll
*deep breath*
//Okay let's do this! I'm only doing characters that were created for the movie/those that had the most screentime.
Part 1/2
Lt. Santino
1: sexuality headcanon: We never really see/hear about a significant other in the film but I'm going to headcanon that he's bisexual but closeted.
2: otp: ? Maybe he has a lover we don't know about who also works at the police station.
3: brotp: Him and Eddie Valiant of course!
4: notp: Him with Jessica or Dolores
5: first headcanon that pops into my head: That he's been a friend of Eddie's since his brother was still alive and on the force. That he doesn't have as much of a prejudice towards toons as his detective buddy does.
6: favorite line from this character: "Marvin Acme...the rabbit CACKED him last night!"
7: one way in which I relate to this character: He has to look away when Doom dips the shoe.
8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: That he treats Eddie's drinking problem as an inconvinience instead of an addiction.
9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave?: Complete cinnamon roll, just a very professional one.
Marvin Acme
1: sexuality headcanon: He likes the laaaaddiies
2: otp: Don't know? I always assumed he was already married and if not that at least has a string of messy affairs/seperations with both human and toon women.
3: brotp: I'll bet he was at least on speaking terms with RK Maroon before his death.
4: notp: Him and Jessica Rabbit of any sort, even fake for the cameras.
5: first headcanon that pops into my head: He's pulled the disappearing ink trick with wealthier and scarier people. Some found it amusing, others earned him a black eye.
6: favorite line from this character: "Oh it's a Panic!"
7: one way in which I relate to this character: I love cartoons and I laugh a lot.
8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: The fact that he keeps on pestering Eddie with his gags even after Eddie has made it clear that he's not in the mood. Also the Patty-Cake pictures, where he's making all those sounds but you can't see what's happening!
9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave?: A little bit of both. On one hand, he loves what he does and clearly has a respect for Toons but he also did business with Maroon which eventually lead to his death at the hands of Judge Doom.
Dolores
1: sexuality headcanon: Heterosexual and in love/going steady with Eddie Valiant
2: otp: Dolores and Eddie
3: brotp: Also her and Eddie as well as her and Roger but I quite like the idea of her being good friends with Jessica.
4: notp: Her and any of her patrons.
5: first headcanon that pops into my head: That she and Eddie love Catalina so much because it was where they met. Eddie, Teddy and their father were doing a circus show there and needed a volunteer from the audience. He pulled a bouquet out of thin air and gave it to her and then pretended to saw her in half - it was so romantic!
6: favorite line from this character: Too many! She's such a sass mouth! "Dabbling in watercolours, Eddie?" "Is that a rabbit in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?" and "Is he always this funny or only on days when he's wanted for murder?"
7: one way in which I relate to this character: That she works hard and is tired all the time.
8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: The scene where she sees Eddie and Jessica together and Eddie's trousers have fallen down while Jessie is talking to him and it looks...bad. Doesn't help tt he bumps his head on her chest as he goes to pull them up.
9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave?: Cinnamon roll that you don't want to mess with!
Baby Herman
1: sexuality headcanon: He loves human women...and is possibly a little bit gay for some male toons. (But the idea of that is weird to me, because he's literally a baby it's like shipping Stewie Griffen with someone.)
2: otp: Him and his human girlfriend that you see in the movie. I think she's just credited as "Ms Herman."
3: brotp: Baby Herman and Roger Rabbit. Before Roger started being late to rehearsals and messing up his cues, they were best friends.
4: notp: Probably him and Jessica, although he is very envious of Roger.
5: first headcanon that pops into my head: He plays both male and female baby roles. That everything in his home is baby-themed, right down to the giant cot and mobile. If he needs anything, he calls his mistress via a baby monitor.
6: favorite line from this character: "The whole thing stinks like yesterday's diapers!" and "What da hell was wrong with that take?!"
7: one way in which I relate to this character: Looks pure but is actually a foul-mouth.
8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: When he throws a tantrum because he dropped his cigar after Eddie pushed his pram down the hall...and when he darts underneath a woman's skirt...and the fact that he claims to have a "50 year old lust and a 3 year old dinky..." Wtf.
9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave?: Both. He's a baby who chain smokes and can wrap anyone around his little finger by offering to pay them.
Benny the Cab
1: sexuality headcanon: Well he's a car, so I don't think gender's an issue. If you're wheels are shined and you got a nice set of headlights, he doesn't mind.
2: otp: I'd pair him with a nice flower-glass Corvette.
3: brotp: Benny and Roger. He is Roger's car after all.
4: notp: Him and any human character.
5: first headcanon that pops into my head: That he also often appears in Roger Rabbit shorts, as the vehicle for a quick getaway during a chase, or comedic car wash scene.
6: favorite line from this character: "Sister, Mary Francis, what the hell happened in here?" and "I can't believe they locked me up for driving on the sidewalk!"
7: one way in which I relate to this character: Likes helping, makes sarcastic quips.
8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: That he drives straight through the Dip and burns his tires and has to waddle over to Roger when he finds him which is like the equivalent of burning your feet with acid to him. Also, when he tells Roger to be careful using a real gun because "this ain't no cartoon ya know!" ...As he, a car, drives away in his own car.
9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave?: Cinnamon roll unless you're a fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers.
Smartass Weasel
1: sexuality headcanon: I'm going to go with pansexual. He only cares if you have status and are not human (though that doesn't mean he hasn't had a fling with one or two.)
2: otp: No love interest in the film. Although I'm kind of a sucker for a tough guy character falling for a really sweet and innocent character.
3: brotp: Him and the rest of the Toon Patrol. He does care for them and he only hits them for laughing because he knows they are suscepitable to dying from it. Also, I feel like he would have gotten along better with Eddie Valiant had he not fallen in with Judge Doom because they're both bitter and hate the industry.
4: notp: I would say him and Doom. Or any of his boys.
5: first headcanon that pops into my head: That he was drawn to be wicked but not a villain. He has multiple other items aside from his suit that are bright pink because he likes to dress flashy...and that the only people exempt from potential target by his patrol are children.
6: favorite line from this character: Honestly, every line of his is terrific. "Step outta line and we'll leave you and your laundry out to dry!" "Say Boss, what do we do with the wallflower?" and "Want us to disresemble the place?"
7: one way in which I relate to this character: Small but feisty.
8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: That all his team members get cute little toon ghosts when they die but he just...dissolves in Dip.
9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave?: Problematic fave definetly! But even though he's mean, sneaky and carries a lot of weapons, he's also funny, charming and I can't help but feel a bit sorry for him because he was just tryig to please his boss. Weasels certainly are assigned villain roles in cartoons and maybe he was just fed up with it so he decided to become a real one.
Greasy Weasel
1: sexuality headcanon: Heterosexual, biromantic...and he's an utter sex-pest.
2: otp: He needs someone who can reign him and his desires in so he can actually focus on whatever he's doing.
3: brotp: Him and the rest of the Toon Patrol, especially Smartass. He admires his boss' attitude.
4: notp: Him and Jessica. Their encounter in the film is cringe-worthy to watch.
5: first headcanon that pops into my head: That he has a gentler, romantic side deep down but doesn't want to show it because he has too much bravado.
6: favorite line from this character: "I'll handle this one..." followed closely by a LOT of uncensored Spanish curse words!
7: one way in which I relate to this character: We both get crushes easily.
8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: When he reaches down Jessica's dress. He's so confident until her hidden bear-trap clamps onto his hand. He probably replayed the first three seconds beforehand over and over in his head though.
9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave?: Problematic fav for sure! Perverted, knife-wielding henchman who reaches into someone's bosom in a canon Disney movie. Yet, he's still weirdly adorable. If he were human, I might say different.
Wheezy Weasel
1: sexuality headcanon: I'm just going to say it...I headcanon him as gay and asexual.
2: otp: Don't really see him with anyone unless they're another smoker, (or are willing to put up with smoke.)
3: brotp: Definetly him and Stupid! Look at the way they drill through the wall together and laugh at our hero's predicaments towards the end if the film! They're great pals, having a good time!
4: notp: Him and Greasy.
5: first headcanon that pops into my head: He enjoys Camel cigarettes the best. And he's the best card player in the group.
6: favorite line from this character: It's so funny because he doesn't have many lines in the movie so I'm just going to say his dialogue from the Cartoon Spin ride at Disneyland "But Boss, Benny knows ToonTown, like the back of his tread!" and his laugh.
7: one way that I relate to this character: Chill most days until I see or hear something funny then I lose it.
8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: The fact that he tries to grab onto his ghost to try and pull it back into his body before it leaves.
9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave?: Problematic fav. Carries a tommy gun and is not afraid to use it, knows that smoking won't do him any harm since he's a toon and is good at following orders even if they're immoral.
Psycho Weasel
1: sexuality headcanon: N/A Psycho is like the family dog. A feral one...that was rescued from the streets.
2: otp: None. Unless you like snuggling, just mind the teeth.
3: brotp: Psycho and Stupid as well as him and Wheezy. Wheezy is like a parent looking after him and Stupid is like his sibling.
4: notp: Basically him with any other character.
5: first headcanon that pops into my head: He doesn't really use his barber-shop razor for anything nefarious, but he likes how threatening he looks with it. Also, when you scratch behind his ear, his leg does the scritch thing where he kicks behind it.
6: favorite line from this character: "Time to kill the raaaabbbit...hee hee!"
7: one way in which I relate to this character: We're both a bit mad. He's just toonier. And we laugh like maniacs.
8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: When Eddie Valiant just straight up kicks him across across the bar when he tries to attack him.
9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave?: I'm going to say he's a problematic cinnamon roll. He has no problem doing wicked things but he's too small and cute to really be considered awful. At one point Eddie snatches Marvin Acme's will out of his hands and he looks like a kicked puppy. He bad but he baby.
Stupid Weasel
1: sexuality headcanon: A hopeless romantic for anyone, but too dumb to realise when someone's flirting with him.
2: otp: I like the idea of him and an equally dim character so they can both be ignorant and happy together.
3: brotp: Stupid and Psycho. They're just the children of the patrol.
4: notp: Him with his boys or human characters.
5: first headcanon that pops into my head: He once got into a heated argument with another weasel who had broken into their hideout until Smartass informed him he was looking at a mirror.
6: favorite line from this character: Again, he gets hardly any lines. "Boss! Look at the little birdies!"
7: one way in which I relate to this character: I have my moments where common sense just leaves me.
8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: Him falling backwards into a row of humans at the bar when he is pushed by Eddie. They just...goes right down, like bowling pins or dominos.
9: cinnamon roll or problematic fave?: Despite being in the Toon Patrol he's a total cinnamon roll. I don't even think he knows what he's doing half the time and that's really sweet.

Donald X Daffy with 27? I just gotta know
Why do their friends get annoyed with them?
Hilarious to answer this question.
Daffy: Daffy is obvious and easiest. It truly depends on the writer, but I’m going to use a combination of Who Framed Roger Rabbit, which relied on his earlier (looney) behavior and The Looney Tunes show.
Daffy is obnoxious, down to his very core. He’s loud and abrasive and a showoff. He’s egotistic and narcissistic in many ways, and as I believe he (and all the other Looney Tunes) is a chaos god, he isn’t bond by normal physics. He defies them all the time and loves to pick people for their reaction, be it bad or good.
He’s just straight up daffy. (I did not know this was an actual word until The Looney Tunes Show explained it)
Donald: I love Donald as much as I love Daffy, but Donald can be a dick and has been. Like Daffy, he can be a egotistic, though not to Daffy’s level, and he’s petty as hell. He has a poor temper and takes things too far, something Daffy can relate to.
As you can tell, they’re very much alike despite their obvious differences. Their WFRR scene definitely highlighted these and played it up to the max. I freaking loved it.
But you’re probably wondering how can they have friends despite their flaws, well, through their flaws are positives. They can be loyal and fiercely protective of their friends, and fortunately for Daffy, his best friend is Bugs Bunny is clever.
And their friends understand their insecurities and self-doubt. They try to help them, and believe it or not, Donald and Daffy help each other in their round about ways.

okay - a couple of new polls (because it's been a few months and i like checking in on y'all every now and again)--
this poll wants to know which project you are most interested in - of the projects i've already started posting and of the ones i haven't posted but have started writing. it's more streamlined, so it doesn't include everything's coming up rose's - it mostly concerns itself with current started projects and projects i know y'all wanted. this gives me a slightly clearer direction of what projects to focus on in terms of backlog.
this poll asks which upcoming project you are most interested in - this is stuff i haven't started posting but (in most but not all cases) have started writing. this gives me a slightly clearer direction of what projects most interest you and what you would like to see in terms of new stuff.
under the cut, you'll find a more detailed description of the projects mentioned in the polls.
i would appreciate it if you vote in both polls, as they both do slightly different things. most of the time when i do general what do you want to see polls, they are open so that you can click on as many options as you want, but for these in particular, i do want it specified to the one you are most interested in seeing.
If You Lived Here, You’d Be Home Now is an AU inspired by Luisa’s time at the mental institution after having the Carla breakdown during her residency. Rose is very much also there, as are characters from WFRR and Hannibal, but it primarily focuses on Luisa and her mental health and how Rose, in this incarnation, affects that.
Luisa and the Fox is a fairy tale AU inspired by the idea of the kumiho. In it, Luisa finds herself being watched over by the titular fox while also trying to take her revenge on the fox who killed her mother and father.
A Christmas at Longbourne is a Hallmark Christmas movie AU. After her yodeling girlfriend breaks up with her, Rose finds herself without her room at her hotel and is sent up to the otherwise empty hotel in Longbourne, where she spends most of her time with Luisa, the hotel owner. There are also other complications, such as hotel repercussions and Luisa’s not girlfriend, Allison.
Emilia Antonia is a university prof/prof AU. Luisa, the titular Emilia Antonia, is hired by a university for the prestige that comes with hiring her. But Luisa keeps her anonymity and keeps encountering another new professor, Rose Ruvelle, who is determined to figure out just who Emilia Antonia is.
Sin Rostro is a 1920′s AU. Luisa Alver submits herself to the mob boss Sin Rostro to pay off her younger brother (Rafael Solano)’s debt and ends up working at The Marbella, an escort service / brothel run by Petra Andel, where she meets Rose Ruvelle, Sin Rostro’s personal favorite. Meanwhile, Rafael is still trying to work with the police to capture the mob boss who killed their father.
Soulmate Timer AU is what it says on the tin. It is a collection of one-shots, the first featuring Rose and Luisa and when their timers went off, the second of which focuses on Jane Villanueva and when her timer goes off quite unexpectedly.
Dreamers Often Lie is another soulmate AU that combines three soulmate tropes: body-swapping with your soulmate for a minute at midnight on New Year’s after your (redacted) birthday; being able to enter the dreams of your soulmate whenever you desire after that body-swap; and being able to see your roommate as through a mirror when looking into the reflections on bubbles.
Where The Lightning Strikes The Sea is an HP AU. Intended to stretch seven books during the same time period as the original series, Clara Ruvelle, Luisa Alver, and Janet Sparks deal with various events and characters both from the original series and unique to their story as they go through their seven years at Hogwarts. The first book focuses on their first year at Hogwarts (their sorting, how they meet, the interactions with their families, etc.) and sets up for future installments in the series.
Crossovers are exactly as mentioned in the poll. This includes the Pokemon AU, the ODAAT fic (Heart in Motion), the Tick fic(s) (Aftershocks), and other crossovers I may have mentioned (like the epic superhero crossover I detail more below).
Falling is a post-season 5, primarily canon compliant fic, which means, as far as I know at this point, Rose is dead. Luisa is asked by her old therapist, Alana Bloom, who is now retired, to come visit her and her significant other, Margot Verger, in a way that is mutually beneficial to both of them. This fic deals primarily with Luisa processing Rose’s death and what that means and who Rose is to her. The style can be jarring due to flashbacks that detail Luisa’s relationship with Rose, as well as the potential of hallucinations, and possibly trying to determine which is which.
Everything’s Coming Up Rose’s is a 90′s rom-com AU. Clara Ruvelle owns and runs the titular bakery, maintaining as much of her recently deceased mother’s character and charm as possible, including the weekly family baking evening. Luisa Alver and her daughter, Mia, under the names Emilia and Anya, are invited to the family baking by a friend of Clara’s, who happens to end up being their across the hall neighbor when they move into the city. Also includes subplot dealing with why Luisa and Mia are using different names.
Luisa and the Child is a sequel to Luisa and the Fox (see above). It focuses on the continuing adventures of Luisa and Rose, now human after the events of the first book, as well as detailing a little more about fox interactions with humans. The blonde detective seen in the first book is also a major player here.
Epic JTV/SG/Tick/Timeless/AC Crossover is basically what it says on the tin. Years after the death of Rose Ruvelle (still debating on her supervillain status, basically whether she is one), Luisa Alver, her ex girlfriend, and Miss Lint, her second in command, both believe that she is still alive. Their theories seem to be confirmed when Luisa receives a mysterious suit that seems to be connected to Rose. Meanwhile, Emma Whitmore and Whitney Frost, both previous members of Rose’s troupe, seem to have moved on and work at L-Corp under the steady watch of Rhea Morrigan, who oversees the company’s new projects, particularly those involving aliens and travel through time and space. Meanwhile, Supergirl, etc. find themselves at odd with a being known only as The Phantom, who gives them clues related to aliens they already were keen on capturing. It is unknown whether The Phantom is friend or foe, as she seems to operate under her own guidance. The Phantom is a particular rival of Miss Lint, a villain who might be super but seems to be nowhere near as dangerous as others they have been facing. This fic may also include crossover characters who are played by the same actor(ess) - Kelly Olson/Nadine, Petra/Anezka/Psi/Pyotr - as well as characters who may have died in one (or more) of the series not being dead - Astra In-Ze - but this is still being hammered out.

😳
“Look- I know dad isn’t around to teach you these things.. So I will. If you ever want to lead, you have to make sure they respect you. The fastest way? Make them fear you. If they’re scared of you, they won’t try nothing funny. I wasn’t scared of dad.. and look where that got him. For now- I can deal with business but one day I may expand or something might happen to me and then it falls upon you. Do you understand?”
He stood there, shaking and trying to control it. The events of before playing in his mind like a movie. Every time he closes his eyes, even just to blink, he would see it, the hair and blood. He would hear it, the bat coming down. He looked up towards the other, his brother. They used to play together but that child was long gone. He swallowed hard and nodded.
[Good news everyone, I figured out how to make Conker and WFRR exist in the same universe!
He’s not going to beat Smarty- I hope that was clear ; A ; Basically I was thinking they’re related but Smarty just couldn’t stomach being as gruesome as his brother so he lived a more legit life, still sometimes his pasts bleeds through though.]

the most relatable scene in WFRR is when the villain guy whose name escapes me tried to get roger out of hiding by playing “shave and a haircut” over and over again. i really felt roger i would be dead in an instant
#though daffy playing the piano with his elbows and pounding on the keys is really relatable too#things i wouldve loved to do when taking piano lessons as a frustrated 12 year old
