Rick has a sex switcher that he invented. it switches your sex. he used it on both Summer and Morty (after being asked to) without their parents permission

Jerry seems like he was really pissed about it. Beth was too, but only because Jerry was, she didn't really care. they probably got in a huge family argument about it where Rick (in self defense) brought up the trans suicide rate to shut them up
