Last Movie: Hellbenders (2012), because I saw a scene on Twitter of Clancy Brown in it and wowie (it’s NSFW). The movie itself isn’t that good tho, but Clancy’s great in it.

Currently reading: Lots of HankCon fics. I’m very into DBH again, but I never read any HankCon fics before because with big fandoms it’s like... where do you start (tho I would read SiMarkus ones, since there’s less of them, and I was also just very into Nygmobs still, and smaller fandoms deserve love too!) But then I just... started.

I looked at specific tags I wanted to read, starting with post-canon, which is mostly what I’ve read, and through that, found a few good authors. Nadre is one of them, where they write a lot of ‘Connor’s Firsts’, which are all fluff, feel good fics. :)

Currently watching: Actually not been watching anything at all, but I need to catch up on Titans and The Umbrella Acadamy, so it’ll likely be those next.

Thank you so much for commenting!! That post was me just rambling out my own thoughts about the two ships, and I originally didn’t plan on sharing it publicly, but since I love reading other people’s posts like that, I figured maybe someone might enjoy mine too 😊 And I’m SO HAPPY you did!! 💜

I said a lot in my previous response to you, so for your sake and for anybody reading I’ll refrain from repeating myself (when it comes to Free! and my thoughts/opinions, I could repeat myself 10000x and not even bat an eye ...but I won’t do that to y’all haha). But YES Makoto is a precious big squish, his friendship with Haru is important, and MakoHaru do care so so much about each other. No sense in trying to undermine that.

BUT THE RINHARU RELATIONSHIP 😩💥🔥🤯😭😭. I LOVE that you used the word visceral, because that’s it EXACTLY. Haru has a visceral reaction to Rin—and vice versa, but the fact that HARU reacts this way is powerfully telling of just how much he feels about Rin. From the very first episode, Haru barely reacted to anything—he was a rather apathetic teen who really only longed to be in the water. But then enter in Rin Matsuoka, and not only does Haru viscerally react whenever Rin is mentioned, but he also has multiple flashbacks of RIn before he even knew Rin was back in the country.

Because Haru doesn’t react this way—so raw and, and you said, viscerally—with anyone else, I just cannot see him not having special feelings for anyone else aside from Rin. It just makes sense, as he never showed these kinds of feelings towards anyone else in his life since the time Rin returned to Australia after their falling out-race. For me, If there really was potential for a reciprocated ship-relationship between Haru and any other character aside from Rin (within the context of Season 1), it would’ve either happened already considering Makoto had been there the entire time and no sparks or flames, or Haru would’ve been so focused on a new character that wasn’t Rin who had newly entered his life (which, as we know, he wasn’t). But no, Haru was so fixated on Rin, it completely baffled Rei, the newcomer to the group, as to why Haruka was so obsessed with Rin. I mean, if that alone doesn’t blatantly confirm that Haru has some pretty strong feelings towards Rin, then idk what to tell folks who are in denial. 🤷🏽‍♀️

KID!RIN IS THE REASON I FELL FOR ADULT RIN. Like, I knew that this bright and dazzling shooting star of a kid was still in Rin somewhere, and since that Rin stole my heart within the first 75 seconds of the anime, by default part of me was stolen by adult Rin, too haha (though ngl, it took like 4 episodes for me to start sympathizing with him, but when I did wooooosh!! XD). AND YES THE WAY I DIED DURING EPISODE 12!!! I literally covered my mouth and was silent-screeching into my hand, waving my other hand wildly in the air, had to pause the video to collect myself multiples times and basically fell apart and lost my mind over the entirety of episode 12 😂 I have my “recap” here if you’re interested in getting a closer look at my subsequent meltdown, haha.

BROTP for them: now i'm thinking like DO | EVEN HAVE ONE?? because to me the only three relationships in his life in which he's shown to have any actual emotional investment are the relationships with mom, eudora and klaus, mom is... well mom, eudora is his ex and klaus is my romantic otp for him, but... i suppose both klaus and eudora are also my brotps for him if that makes sense? i mean eudora and him probably had romantic relationship at the time they were in the police academy together so 5-10 years ago and they still stayed in touch and their interactions mostly don't feel awkward so i imagine they were good friends both before and after they've tried to date and it didn't work, it's obvious she meant a lot to him but i don't believe they were seeing each other as potential romantic partners after that one failed attempt, so yeah, brotp it is, and since we all know romantic kliego has nothing to do with canon they are my brotp in the text of the show too

Other ships: the only thing i can think of is benkliego but even then we didn't see enough of diego and ben's interactions for me to fully commit to this concept because for now it's hard for me to see it as a relationship with a steady and even dynamics where no one feels left out or something, so benkliego as a possibility and nothing else because diego i think is one of the sooo few of my fave characters that i can't multiship for no apparent reason, i just believe he was in love with klaus for the most of his life and it doesn't mean he never loved anyone else or never tried to be happy with anyone else, he did and he was for some time (see, eudora), but klaus was and always will be kind of the person he can't un-love if i can say so, like someone he'll always choose over other people if klaus just gives him a chance to believe it's possible for things to work between them

What kind of fic I’d write about them: i'm probably gonna repeat myself here because i already answered about klaus and the thing is i only write shippy things so yeah... but of course him leaving the academy and taking klaus along with him would be something I would be interested in writing, oh and you know what? if we're talking about diego as a character i would like to write him as i see him, not the tough rough mask he wears but the soft caring person behind it, people tent to write him as this possessive aggressive macho man ready to hurt klaus and although i think everyone has a right to do whatever they want with the character i don't believe this is who diego is, i believe in diego who is soft and gentle with the people he loves, who doesn't wear any masks around his loved ones and etc, also this fandom doesn't have nearly enough bottom diego fics in it and we should all be ashamed of ourselves, look at that boy, look at him, he'd be delighted to be taken apart and letting go of all control, feeling vulnerable and seen and yet still loved and worshipped, give me all the bottom diego there is (a little note, i believe all the characters i love to be versatile because it's much more fun, and i don't have anything against the fics in which diego tops i'm just saying, you know, some variety won't hurt?)

A favorite canon moment: i can't choose god i love his so much?? every scene with grace or with klaus? "stop being so sexist"? the first moment we see him, when he's fighting the bad guys? maybe... ok i can't say it was totally my favorite but him turning grace off in the third episode? so much raw emotional vulnerability, i think it was the moment i really fell in love with the character

A headcanon about them: diego is demisexual, he never had any real and committed romantic relationship with anyone except eudora, he tried both drinking and smoking and didn't really saw the appeal of it, he never tried any drugs tho, he still knows how to play that guitar he's got in his room, he built most of his tough exterior after leaving the academy not before, he legally changed his name from number two to diego as soon as he turned 18, he's bi (of fucking course), he likes to bottom, klaus was his first crush and first love and maybe first kiss ("for practice, right?"), grace sang him to sleep, he's not a bad cook cause he learned from mom, he treats most of his wounds himself and that's why some of his scars don't look as neat as the others, the "good" scars are the ones on which either the mom did the stitches or diego himself but only once he knew how to do it properly, the "bad" scars are the ones that were used for his practice, he doesn't like baths because he hates to be in a still water for long (training with dear old dad you know), someone please stop me, i think my answer is already far too long

A random AU I think up on the spot for them: has anyone ever talked about merman diego because of his abilities? because if not there you go, merman diego, he can even have octopus tentacles instead of a fish tale because he's the kraken after all, of course he's no little mermaid so that scenario would not work here, if he saved prince!klaus from drowning there would be no singing or "oh wow a human he's so pretty" more like "oh wow what a fucking idiot, are humans all so stupid?", i don't even think he would ask for legs so no fairytale, but we can always imagine our own plot for it

Anything else: i really want to believe those set photos where both him and klaus look like jesus and bucky barns at the same time were just like... you know... that they will look like that just for a small part of the season, but i think i've lost all hope, anyway i will love him even if he is jesus cosplayer now xD

I actually LOVED this episode? I was NOT expecting that, just based on my lesser investment on the Bunker characters vs Space Kru, but I didn’t even miss the later (... much). I should’ve known better, given my fascination with lockdown/prison storylines lol. And I liked it ten times more than last week’s, which was 3/4 shit tbh. 

I’m interested in Octavia and her arc for the first time since season one. I’m not sure that’s a good thing lol, but at least it’ll make the season far more enjoyable for me. Like, that scene where she’s bathed in blood and repeating her motto over and over was fun, idc (weird choice of words I know. Eh.) The whole blood theme was er. Interesting xD Her new look kind of makes me want a heavy metal band AU LOL. 

Niylah and Octavia are a thing, right? Right? They are.

Miller and Jackson are cute too.

Frankly, I don’t like that Jaha died. The scene itself was really moving, and it’s not like he was my favourite person, but he always pushed the plot in really interesting ways, and I’m gonna miss that. His scenes with Octavia were messy and weirdly touching and I really dug them (and that little “for Jaha” while she killed that grounder both amused me and saddened me lol). I don’t know if telling her to take care of Ethan is a good choice tho xD And ofc, all the callbacks to Wells killed me </3

Gaia and Indra’s conflict always gives me life. 

I actually found Abby and Kane interesting this episode (idk if it’s because of their direct links to storyline’s I just dgaf about or because Kane and Jaha’s juxtaposition in the narrative tended to rub me the wrong way, but they’re a bit of hit and miss with me tbh). Specially the moment where she threw to his face how he almost floated her once. IDK, I found myself a little invested in their reconciliation and I was not expecting that at all lol.

The easiest way to resurrect my Blake feels is with Ancient Rome nonsense so the gladiator fights were my jam tbh. (and also like. Horrifying, but I’ll take them over the rampant cannibalism we were all expecting at this point xD -now, the minor references to cannibalism during the ep itself were amusing. 

Basically, with this part of the season just expect my sense of humor to be completely fucked, I guess xD

Yes, I always wear earrings (which I choose accordingly to the outfit) and a necklace (lately it’s always been the lovely fishy grogulec sent, before that was a heart shaped amethyst pendant). In wintertime I also wear rings sometimes

Lavish: What would you do with a million dollars?

1 - Pay off my family’s debts (mortgage, credits, etc)2 - Make some repairs & improvements on the house3 - Think what to do with the remaining money (investments of sorts, thinking about living on my own/buying a house, etc)4 - Live comfortably. Want to travel this or that place? Sure! Treat my friends? Heck yeah! Donate to a good cause? Sure! Impromptu booking shopping spree? No more guilt when trying to decide which *one* to buy! XD

Well, palilalia would be an example I guess xD I think anything with repeated sounds (like lots of Ls would make me trip while saying it). If you’re looking for specific examples, my mind is blanking right now, oops.

Non-alcoholic one would be fresh orange juice, or sweet lemon tea. Anything with a citric flavour.

Alcoholic one, uh… moscatell, probably, or any kind of sweet wine (porto, sherry, etc). That’s not taking into account combined drinks, because then vodka+orange juice ranks pretty damn high

Honeysuckle: Do you ever go barefoot when you’re outside? 

No, I go barefoot inside the house! (and get accidentally stepped on, since everyone else usually wears their shoes or slippers). Outside tho? No thanks, it’s either too cold to go barefoot, or it’s full of bugs :(
