#not to say that Sanji doesn't love Kuina later (I think at times she's the only thing that keeps him going)

“I got you no matter what” EXCUSE ME WHILE I CRY SCREAM THROW UP—
Yesss - if there is one thing Zoro is, above anything else, he's loyal! I haven't drawn much out yet, but I do see him being not exactly perfect with this (he does tumble along, says some insensitive stuff, really doesn't get Sanji for the longest time because they communicate badly) but! When shit hits the fan he is there! And of all the strawhats I think he'd be the most quiet/calm/stalwart support there is. (And Zoro is definitely pro choice, I do see him as someone for whom it's as simple as 'he doesn't want this so it's not gonna happen'.) With alllllll the other things they argue about, this should be a huge fight. But it doesn't happen - not here, and not about that.

I really miss the romance dawn trio where it's Zoro and Nami on either side of Luffy. The monster trio is great and everything but it does make me sad how Sanji took Nami's place. I miss the times when Zoro and Nami would threaten someone simultaneously, weapons drawn in sync. It felt so good in a gender way.
I've only just started thinking about this but I'd love to create things for an AU where Sanji just never gets that strong, and Nami powers up alongside Zoro and Luffy instead. I think it could be good for both Nami and Sanji's characters in different ways.
I think Sanji's whole thing about being made to feel subhuman for not being strong enough could be explored in such an interesting and even more powerful way if he really never got that strong. If he didn't ever have to be the warrior, if just being a cook like he always wanted to be was enough. Of course all the Strawhats contribute to the fights, but if he had more of a supportive role like Chopper that could be so interesting when it comes time to explore his insecurities. Going from 'the standards you were being held to are completely unreasonable and there's nothing wrong with being human' to 'you don't have to be strong at all, it's okay to just be you' could be soooo good. HE WOULD SUFFER SO MUCH MORE. But I think he'd end in an even healthier place. The journey could be so interesting.
AS FOR NAMI!!! She could be more like Zoro, fighting with the words of someone she lost in her mind. Bellemere told her to never lose to anyone, that girls have to strong too. It could be such a good what-if parallel to Kuina. If Kuina had a supportive adult encouraging her that she can be strong too, if her father hadn't been sexist, she could have gone just as far as Zoro does. The proof that her gender never made her inferior fighting right alongside him. God it'd be soooo satisfying and it'd make the message so much stronger. Also, Nami's slow development of becoming braver could be in the forefront. She'd have to fight herself so much harder to constantly be on the front lines. Plus, the comedy of an incredibly powerful person being a scaredycat is too good.
Which of course brings up, what happens to the scaredycat duo? I think the answer is related to what happens to Sanji's advice to Usopp in Water Seven. I think just because AU Sanji isn't strong, that doesn't mean he becomes any more fearful or less likely to put himself in harms way. Instead of the background gag of Nami and Usopp cowering together, it could change to Usopp constantly having to brave the battlefield to drag Sanji back out of it. I think they'd fight a lot, but very differently from Zoro and Sanji's fighting. Usopp gets mad because he doesn't want Sanji to get hurt, and it's hard to be truly hostile to someone with those kind of intentions.
Remember when Usopp reassured Chopper that 'it's okay to run away, just do what you can do'? And some of the others kinda made fun of him, like, 'That's your motto eh Usopp?'. He was telling Chopper what he wanted to hear, but much later we find he didn't really believe it, not when it's for himself. He also told Chopper it's okay when Merry's mast broke under his watch, "because we can replace the mast, but we can't replace you!" I think AU Usopp would be saying this kind of thing to Sanji all the time. They'd be very close. So when Usopp's insecurity gets the better of him in Water Seven, it's a huge betrayal for Sanji specifically. How could he say those things to him if all this time, he didn't really mean them? If it's not true for Usopp, where does that put Sanji?
It could go a lot of other ways too, though. Maybe their close relationship based on not being the strongest and being okay with it together would enable Sanji to talk Usopp down from leaving. Or, bad version, Sanji could take it just as personally as Usopp does, since Usopp is to him what Merry is to Usopp, and they both leave. God, they'd all be so heartbroken. Lots to think about...
As for Nami, I think she'd be a lot closer with Zoro. They'd be bickering all the time, but it would have that trust that Zoro and Luffy have underneath it. That if one of them needs a break, the other is there to pick up the slack. This is already their dynamic in a different way, both acting as secondary leaders, keeping things from getting too out of control. To me the best example of that is Whiskey Peak, when they're the only two who weren't fooled. I think it would help both of them retain their silliness if they were always on equal footing, fighting side-by-side. Some of my favorite East Blue moments are the couple of times they played jokes on the others together, and I think we'd see a lot more of that. When you trust the person next to you to be perfectly in-step with you, it's a lot easier to have fun even in dangerous situations.
I think especially Zoro needs help keeping his goofy side, and for Nami it'll help her get over her fears to have her reliable best friend right there egging her on. I just think they'd have a lot of fun!
Nami & Usopp, Zoro & Sanji, they're both fun dynamics, but I'd love to switch it up. There's just so much possibility to explore...

Falling for zosan and namivivi because I am a sucker for parallels and relationships that are not what people would expect of them.
For example, I prefer when Zoro and Sanji don't get together because they are sexually attracted to each other, but because there is literally no real reason forcing them together but they choose to be together either way.
Why do they fight? Why each other?
There's nothing about fate or blind love in there.
Loving Sanji is a decision for Zoro. He picks Sanji. He decides he wants to tease Sanji and fight with him and offer to Sanji those parts of himself that no one else has seen. Zoro loves deliberately, with all his being. He knows what he's getting into and he accepts it, a promise made to last forever. He did the same with Kuina and Luffy, so it doesn't make sense to me to have a version of Zoro that loves romantically 'cause there's no other option. Remember when he preferred to die over denying his ambitions? Or all the times he has sacrificed himself expecting nothing in return? Or the fact he is praised for following no one he doesn't want to and nothing but what pleases him?
And Sanji can only choose to love Zoro. It'd be a fight with his traumas and the persona he created to keep the hurt at bay, you know, "the romantic cook that loves and lusts for women". It wouldn't be fair or pretty either if Sanji was forced into it. I'm not saying he can't be sexually attracted to Zoro —and I must clarify, for me Zoro is fully on the asexual spectrum— but ultimately, I think that Sanji would never dive on it if not fully conscious about what it entails. Sanji has a lot of issues he must start working on before involving himself in anything romantic or sexual with a man. It's the guilt? The shame? The way he represses himself and denies himself happiness? The way he thinks he needs to fake an easygoing persona so that others wouldn't worry? The self-loathing? Zoro sacrifices himself because that's his duty and he knows himself and his wishes— he'd die to be the best swordman and he'd die for Luffy to be the pirate king and he'd die for his crew. He doesn't wish death, tho. Sanji? His self-sacrificing is born out of suffering and self-deprecation. Loving Zoro would be a choice, no doubt.
With Nami and Vivi, it's that the circumstances make them perfect for each other, just to later keep them apart.
Vivi and Nami fit together. It took Nami one single night and she knew she'd sacrifice anything— that they would sacrifice anything to help Vivi. Nami saw her own fear and loneliness and guilt and desperation reflected in the way Vivi made her lip bleed from her bite while the Igaram ship was on fire. They were "cursed" to survive. To fight and struggle and survive, because no one else could face Arlong or Crocodile. Little girls —kids, then teenagers— sailing to a world of crime where they got claimed by the organizations they hated the most, the one they wanted to tear down because they were hurting their home. Young attractive teen girls who turned their bodies into weapons to distract and surprise their enemies so they could have a chance to defeat them.
Girls who know what it's like to smile when you want to break down, what it's like to kneel out of frustration and scream and feel useless helpless.
The strawhat girls were to fucking hell as mere children and got out of there walking, okay?
What allowed the princess and the burglar to find companionship within the other were those things like the trauma of being the only one who could reclaim back their home or the fear of being alone against a situation bigger than themselves. Being honest, I'm not sure if they'd have clicked without it. In the end it's a bit funny, isn't it? Alabasta is the reason Vivi met the strawhats and the reason why she can't sail to go on adventures with them. In fulfilling the promise of saving Alabasta, Nami made it so that Vivi wouldn't be able to leave with them. Well, she could, but not really. Vivi is a good princess and she wouldn't abandon her people = her country.
Vivi suffered for being a rich princess, but saved herself + her people 'cause they underestimated how influential and powerful she could be. On the other hand, Nami suffered for being a poor no one first, then for being too important for Arlong to discard, yet they never expected that Nami would have so many people willing to fight for her.
Like a moth to flame, a girl reflected on water.
Vivi and Nami are an echo of each other, one that rings clear and true across the seas. For me, there could be no one else for them. Who else would get it? Who else could understand what they can't explain? What they've lived through? Who held Vivi and swore it'd be okay that night at Whiskey Peak? Who took care of Nami when she was at death's door with fever for days? All the moments become a giant picture with them at the center of it. There's no one else. It couldn't be.

With warm cloths and jackets on you all make it to the large open field full of pumpkin's of all shapes and sizes. Kuina pulls a little on Sanji's hand determined to find the best pumpkin for her design "Sweet heart slow down" Sanji laughs a little pulling his daughter to a stop, she looks up at him and sighs trying to calm herself down. You walk up to her and pat the girls head while Zoro carry's Beau on his shoulders "We have time, don't worry" you smile as she starts walking again this time not pulling her poor dad along with her. As you walk around you notice a few families around but mainly focus on your own "How about this one?" you ask picking up a small but wide pumpkin with a long stem "It weird looking" Kuina looks up with a puzzled look making Sanji laugh. "Pumin" Beau calls out stretching his hands around Zoro's head to reach for it, the swordsman takes the boy off his shoulders and holds him in his arms as you walk over with the Pumpkin to let him touch it "Almost baby" you love how he's trying so hard to learn new things and its super cute when he gets it wrong "Pump-kin" you say hoping he will copy you but he doesn't instead he touches the light orange pumpkin in your hands "I guess the little man has found his" Zoro laughs holding the boy with one arm while grabbing the pumpkin with the other "Daddy look?" Kuina yells out making you realize she's dragged Sanji off while you were distracted.
Zoro sighs "That girl has too much energy" you laugh at his comment and rubs his back in comfort starting to walk to catch up with the two blondes. Sanji walks over and bends down looking at the large dark orange pumpkin his daughter is looking at "Wow, that's big... too big i think" Kuina look up at him with a sad look "Oh sorry" she looks back down only for Sanji to pick her up "Hay it's ok, we'll just find something else" She smiles holding onto her dad as he continues to walk "How about that one?" Sanji asks pointing to a medium-sized pumpkin but the girl shakes her head "It's too thin" Sanji laughs a little and continues to walk as you and Zoro catch up to him "Anything honey?" you ask putting your arm around the cook's waist "I think you two had more luck then us" The cook comments looking over his shoulder at Zoro still holding the baby boy and a pumpkin "There was a big one back there that was the right shape" Kuina points out still looking around until she pulls on her dads coat "That one" she gasps pointing to a pumpkin that looked just like the big one but much smaller "I'll get it" you smile stepping over the patch to grab it as Sanji puts the girl down.
You grab the pumpkin and step back over as Kuina holds out her arms to take it "Are you sure honey?" you ask, you know your little girl is strong but this pumpkin is heavy "I got i mama don't worry" You sigh bending down and placing it in her hands slowly letting go in case she can't take it, her arms droop when you almost let go so you didn't want to chance it. You took the pumpkin back as she gives you a pout "You don't want to hurt yourself for later tonight right?" you ask making her sigh and nod "I've got it my love" Sanji walks over taking the pumpkin off you as Kuina takes your hand "Sorry mama" she looks up at you only to see you smile down at her "It's ok honey, even i had a hard time holding it. we're lucky your farther's are strong" you laugh as Zoro walks next to you, Beau playing with the pumpkin stalk "Pumpin" you sigh lovingly at the little boy, he's almost there with the word "You'll get there one day little man" Zoro laughs as Kuina joins in "I bet he'll be able to say it before we go trick or treating" she smiles up at her farther who looks down at her with a smug smile "Really? and what do you bet?" he asks as your daughter thinks for a moment "I bet... 20% of the candy i get tonight"
You can't help but laugh along with Sanji who's walking in front "50%" Zoro smiles as his daughter glares up at him "25" she yells out letting go of your hand to stop in front of him. You let the two talk while walking up to Sanji who wraps an arm around your waist watching the show "What do you think?" Sanji asks kissing your cheek "I think our little boy can do it" You smile tuning to the cook and kissing his cheek back "Fine 35% it is" Zoro agrees smiling down at the girl "Good and if i'm right then i get to dress you up as an angel for trick or treating" Zoro's eyes widen taking a step back as you and Sanji break out laughing, the swordsman glares at the two of you but it doesn't stop you "You can't back out now Zo" Sanji laughs out trying not to drop the pumpkin in his arms with your help "You were so confident before what happened?" you laugh out placing your head on Sanji's shoulder trying to calm yourself down. "So what do you say dad, deal" Kuina looks up with a big smile, very proud of herself. Zoro sighs and nods "Deal" he lets out watching you and Sanji try and calm down. You manage to catch your breath and look up at Sanji who's also managed to stop laughing "You got it?" you ask still helping him hold up the pumpkin, he nods and holds it close to his chest placing his forehead against yours "You know what this means right?" he asks giving you a mischievous smile "Oh yes" you place a kiss on his lips before pulling away as Zoro walks over with a joyful Kuina at his side.
You take the girls hand and walk to the nearby shop that just so happens to have a cafe and play area. "You guys fancy a hot chocolate?" you ask only for your daughter to grip your hand tighter "yes please" she calls out making you laugh "Yea i could use a drink" Zoro nods stopping outside the shop with Sanji who hums in agreement and pulls out a Cigarette showing you he needs a smoke "I'll take the kids and order, see you in there" You take Beau in your arm and walk off with the two as Zoro and Sanji head in to pay for the pumpkin's, if you knew the cafe was here then you would have stopped there first but the shop was at the back of the place. You take the two kids inside and order 4 hot chocolates, Kuina helps you pay since you have a child in your arms before heading back outside since there weren't any tables inside plus you wanted to keep an eye on your daughter if she decided to go to the playground which was in site only form the outside. Your daughter pulls over a high chair making you smile "Oh thank you sweetie" you helping her the last bit before making sure its clean and putting Beau in it. "Can i go play?" Your daughter asks looking over at the playground "Wait until your farther's get back ok" she nods and takes a seat next to you.
When the hot chocolates come with cream and mini marshmallows on them you place one in front of your daughter "Remember to blow" you smile seeing her eyes light up and take the spoon digging into the cream and eating it. Zoro places the pumpkins on a chair at the table and sits down soon followed by Sanji who had just finished his cigarette "Wow the whole works, you spoil us my love" Sanji smiles taking a cup and setting it in front of him as Zoro does the same "Thanks Baby" the swordsman smiles leaning back in his seat "I aim to please" You shoot back grabbing a plastic mini milk cup and opening it handing it to your son who happily drinks it before drinking your own hot chocolate. Sanji takes a spoon full of cream and leans over to let Beau eat it. "Mom" Kuina tugs on your coat getting your attention "Yes sweetie you can go now, stay where i can see you ok" You smile running a hand through her hair before letting her run off to the play ground. You watch her for a while before grabbing the empty milk pot and dipping it in your hot chocolate. You blow on it to cool it down then lean over to Beau helping him drink it "Gods you are so cute" you smile kissing the baby's cheek once he's finished. Zoro watches Kuina as Sanji gets up and takes Beau out of the high chair seeing he's starting to wiggle around "Come on little man" The cook helps Beau stand on the floor and holds the boys hand letting Beau walk over to the chair that's holding the pumpkins "Kuina with berries and now Beau with Pumpkins" you laugh watching your son run his hands over the pumpkins.
Sanji laughs with you keeping an eye on the boy while he examines the pumpkins and chair before starting to walk to something else, Sanji takes the boys hand and walks with him to a bunch of potted plants. "Come here baby" Zoro pats the seat next to him still keeping his eye on the play ground. You get up and walk over but hug him from behind instead of sitting down making him smile and reach his hand up to rub your arm. Placing a kiss on his cheek you lean foreword to look over at where Kuina is "Gods i need a nap" Zoro sighs leaning his head into you as you kiss his temple "Hopefully this will tire her out" you laugh watching your daughter swing on the swing set "We should all take a nap" Zoro takes your hand and kisses it a few times before you kiss his cheek and pull away "Lets go then, i am tired" you sigh as Zoro gets up and grabs the pumpkins while you head off to call your daughter "Kuina" you call out getting her attention as you stand at the edge of the playground becoming her over with a smile. Your daughter gets off the swing and walks over to you taking the hand you hold out to her "We going back already?" she asks looking very tired but also kinda sad "Yea, we're all tired, we'll have a short nap and then carve those pumpkins" She nods at you as you two walk back over to the table, Zoro holding both Pumpkins and Sanji holding a very tired Beau "Did you have fun?" Zoro asks earning a nod and a yawn from his daughter.
Opening the door you step into the warm house Kuina walking in still holding your hand shortly followed by Zoro who kicks his shoes off and walks to the kitchen to put the pumpkins down. Sanji closes the door once he's in being quiet not to disturb the sleeping baby boy in his arm. After taking your shoes and coat off you take Beau from Sanji who helps you take his little boots off and his coat managing not to wake him "I'll put him down, then i'm probably going for a nap" you whisper holding the baby close to you "I'll join you later" Sanji whispers back placing a kiss on your lips before letting you go. You head to your room and place the baby in the crib kissing his head before walking over to your bed and sitting down, you didn't realize how tired you were until now so you only took off your pants and got under the covers not bothering to get changed into something else.
Sanji watched you head into the room before going to the kitchen seeing Zoro yawning "Y/n's put Beau down and is going to take a nap, you should join her" Zoro smiles down at the cook and nods "Yea i will, you should join us too" The swordsman leans down and lazily kisses the cook who kisses back with a bit more energy "Can i join?" Kuina yawns as her two dads pull apart "Of course baby girl" Zoro walks over picking the girl up as Sanji follows walking into the bedroom seeing you passed out in the bed only your pants on the floor. Sanji heads round to your side and gets in behind you pulling your back into him as Zoro lays his sleepy daughter under the covers before getting in. You steer a little but Sanji kisses your shoulder "It's ok love" He whispers closing his eyes and falling asleep. Kuina cuddles up under your arms snuggling into you as she starts to fall asleep, Zoro smiles watching the three of you running a hand over your hip, his fingers touching Sanji's hip before feeling relaxed enough to close his eye.

The ZoLaw AU Nobody Asked For Where...
Zoro is "in love" with Mihawk/Ace/Saga/Shanks/King/Sanji, he's really sure of it [okay you're gonna have to stick with me for a hot minute on this one]. Not that he has any idea of how to flirt with such an amazing guy.
Law is a flirt, that's an established fact. He's even tried flirting with Zoro a few times, probably for laughs or thinking it might unnerve Zoro before a match (ha! as if Zoro was so easily distracted!).
(Nevermind he'd failed to recognize it as such until Robin pointed it out. Oh, so that's what he meant about Zoro's Santoryu skills having other uses. No, wait, he still doesn't get why the guy would say that....)
It's not like Zoro enjoys the idea of being indebted to that smug son of a bitch with his smirk that makes people go all pink and voice that he's probably making purposefully low so it does that annoying thing to your stomach. But, well, he's starting to think maybe Usopp had been right when he used to talk about "the importance of wooing". Not the part where he insisted he was a master of it - Zoro isn't an idiot, and besides what would Usopp even be doing "wooing" someone not Kaya and around her he is just Usopp but more sappy. Still, it's possible he was onto something with that nonsense about people liking when you say silly things about them wearing clothes or their faces being good, or maybe they actually do like being given useless stuff that they're just going to throw away later or.... Damn, what else had he gone on about? Arg! It had all just seemed like a huge waste of time and making a fuss over these bootless acts and words that didn't seem to mean anything much. Why should Zoro even bother!?
Oh, right. Because stupid [Preferred Hot Guy] and his stupid face and even stupider damn voice. Not that Zoro hadn't tried it his way first, it's just, well, the guy is clearly an idiot and it was his fault for making Zoro gets all - just - tch! Stupid!
And with Usopp's advice half forgotten before he's even finished, it doesn't exactly leave Zoro with a ton of others he can ask for ideas I mean, tch, he's certainly not paying Nami just so she can insult his haramaki again - it's comfortable, especially with his swords, and he's not wasting money on some itchy outfit he'll never want to wear - and he doesn't want Franky making a big deal out of it. Zoro just KNOWS he'd turn it into this whole thing and insisted on building a giant robot with Zoro's face painted on it or worse. And it would probably just end up smashing down [Preferred Hot Guy]'s door, just like it did when Sabo had asked for his help on putting together a surprise party for Koala. Sure, Sabo (and most the rest of Zoro's idiot friends) thought it was awesome, but Kaola was definitely not "woo"ed, and she was already dating Sabo forever by that point! Besides, Zoro is way too mature (and can't afford to fix his door after). No, giant heart-strewn robots definitely weren't what he needed.
Chopper is a kid, Brook is super old, Kuina is Kuina and Luffy is like his captain (they're not exactly pirates, just university kids, but Zoro thinks Luffy would definitely be his, that is if captains were reckless idiots that dragged you to all their stupidest, messiest, best adventures) and you can't ask kids, old people, rivals or captains about stuff like asking out crushes. Everyone knows that. Perona already is always trying to tell him what to do, he's not about to give her permission to boss him around. Johnny and Yosuke once said that Zoro could get any girl he wanted without even trying, but apparently that doesn't work on guys. If he asked Vivi she'd tell Nami. If he asked Jinbe he'd tell Luffy. He could ask Yamato, but the guy keeps slapping Ace on the back and yelling really loudly about what good friends they are, and again, Zoro is not as clueless as everyone seems to believe. He knows hopeless when he sees it (plus he's tried both fighting and talking to [Preferred Hot Guy] way too loudly and they got him about as far as Yamato....).
There is HER but.... no, he has his pride. Zoro would rather cut off his own feet than go to Robin and ask something so embarrassing. Besides, he already knows whatever answer she gives, he wouldn't't understand it. Or he WOULD but she'd also give him one of those SMILES like she just knows he doesn't understand it even though he totally does. Maybe.
At least some of it. Well, if the damn woman just said what it was she wanted him to know instead of making it some kind of demonic riddle!
And that leaves... Well, Zoro has always been proud, but he's not a fool. When Kuina defeated him he stayed until he became better, when Luffy was there to help him out after that asshole cop got in his face and handcuffed him to that lamppost, he let the annoying kid help, when he had the chance to train under Silvers Rayleigh, he took it and nevermind that it meant having to put his ego aside. Zoro would never let some hurt feelings stand in the way of victory.
And Zoro is only a little flustered and embarrassed he has to ask for help over something that is so nonessential and shouldn't even be that hard, but damnit he really wants things to work with this guy! And that means being good at flirting and dating and sex and compliments and relationship and everything. So he grits his teeth and does it.
Even if it's a strike to his ego having to ask Torao for help. Especially help with this whole... (Come on, he already asked the embarrassing part, just say it....)
"Really, Zoro-ya? You can't even say it? You need my help to get your little crush to notice you, right? To make him *want* you, I should say. Tsk, tsk, no need to get all indignant, Zoro-ya. And here I thought you would have preferred me being honest and to the point."
Would it be too much to tell the younger man how adorable it is to see him so flustered? Considering how easy he's made getting a reaction out of him, Law supposes it would be. Really, he should take pity on Zoro-ya, after the other boy worked up the courage to come to Law with such a request.
"That's quite the cute expression, Zoro-ya. Though what happened to the swordsman that gives me such a challenge on the mats. I certainly hope you're not so easy when it comes to showing your hand to your [Guy]-ya. Love is like any other fight; hardly worth the effort if there is no blood on the line."
[Why is Torao smiling at Zoro that way? It's.... Annoying, and Zoro doesn't like it! Gah!]
Okay, okay, so Law may enjoy himself a little too much at first. Can you blame him, when here is the overly confident, self assured, unimpressed Roronoa Zoro of kendo infamy standing here, openly admitting to Law's superiority? How can he resist the temptation of... Nudging the boy's (very easily pushed) buttons when he's giving Law such an opening?
Not to mention Zoro is one of the Strawhat gang, and while he always has been one of the more interesting tolerable, it still gives Law a great deal of satisfaction knowing that their usual method is running straight into every situation without a thought or care hasn't paid off. For once.
(What? Cora-san, it's not that he's laughing at Zoro-ya's misfortune! Don't give him that look! Law just likes that one of the Strawhats finally had to admit that Law is better than them.)
It's more than that, though. Law remembers the boy's blank stares the number of times Law played coy or made vague advances out of curiosity or boredom. Worst, he saw Zoro-ya's last attempt to talk to this guy he's apparently gotten himself so tied into knots over and.... Law can't believe someone can make such a mess when he's hot enough that, to be honest, he could have skipped right past the part where he used his mouth for something as pedestrian as talking. Law can already see [Preferred Hot Guy] would be more than happy to... Accommodate this more direct approach.
But Zoro-ya had asked for Law's guidance. He's hardly going to throw away such an opportunity. It isn't as if Law is going to stop Zoro from getting his [Preferred Hot Guy]-ya, but what about the next person that catches the kenshi's eye? No, it's better if he learns these skills properly.
Zoro: Tch, come on, how hard can it be? Just show me how it's all done so I can do it.
Law: *smirking* Just so long as you take our little lesson seriously, Zoro-ya.
Flirting goes well, date upcoming!
Zoro: So now what?
Law: *raised eyebrow, more concerned with his medical text book at this moment. He can't always just be amusing himself by teasing messing with this boy* Hmm. I thought you said the flirting worked. *As Law knew it would.*
Zoro: Yeah, now you have to show me the next part. Don't tell me you're backing out of your promise so soon, Torao!
Law: ....
Law: *Curiosity getting the better of himself, turning to look at the green haired boy with.... A weary thoughtfulness* You have the attention of your boy. What precisely is the problem?
Zoro: That was just the asking out part!
And while Law is helping to guide Zoro through all of it without being a diaster it's hard not to notice. Well, he already noticed Zoro was hot, but it's not just that. He's also cute. Like, in a way that makes Law smile this kind of stupid smile.
One that Zoro-ya informs him isn't nearly as annoying as his usual smile which only makes Law feel....
Oh.
Oh.
Fuck.
How did Law let this happen?
