Idk this fandom mischaracterize both Zhongli and Xiao to a point that annoys me to no end
Like...
They see Zhongli as a selfish Archon (???) as if he didn't rule Liyue and guided the nation by basically holding its hand for more than 3 thousand years...
And they think Xiao only protects Liyue because of his "contract" with Zhongli, as if Xiao's whole story isn't about letting go of the past because of the countless good things he did to Liyue to compensate the evil he's done...
And the thing that annoys me most is that some people don't even know Xiao had a previous master before Zhongli? Like???? That is explicitly written in Xiao's character story, it's not even up to interpretation

We have a returning citizen in Mount Phoenix:
Zhang Huachang, a 23 year old son of Arawn.           He is a freelance traditional dancer.
FC NAME/GROUP: Liu Yu/ INTO1 CHARACTER NAME: Zhang Huachang AGE/DATE OF BIRTH: 23/ Feb 19th, 2000 PLACE OF BIRTH: Xi'an, China OCCUPATION: Traditional Dancer HEIGHT: 5'6 DEFINING FEATURES: Scars back of thighs and bottom of his feet from discipline, one scar on his collarbone from falling out of a tree.
PERSONALITY: A quiet boy that keeps to himself often never negative even in negative situations. Often daydreams and is very much antisocial, gentle, soft, cool like water. If he is in a situation that no longer peaks his interest he will leave abruptly even in the middle of conversation, always with a smile. If he is uncomfortable he will do the same and the smile never goes away. Often he prefers to be alone with his rabbit, hides in trees and avoids anything that has to do crowds outside of dance.
HISTORY: "He is so pretty."
"Like a doll."
"What a lovely smile."
"He is so well mannered."
"Absolutely perfect."
"Such a perfect family."
He didn't know where he was from, who his real family was. Huachang just knew this family wasn't his, not really, it was only pretend. From the moment he was taken home by the Xiao's at 7 he was treated as more of a display object or a prize rather than a beloved child. They had told the foster system he was perfect for the family, just what they needed, always reminded he had to be as perfect as he looked.
"You looked just like a porcelain doll."
The estate was large, many maids wondered the halls and a nanny cared for him because the two who adopted him couldn't be bothered. In front of others he was to call them 'father' and 'mother', but when everyone left he was to call them 'Sir' and 'Miss'; if he slipped up there was punishment. If he wasn't perfect there was punishment. If he messed up during lessons, slept in, was to loud, to playful, cried, there was punishment. Huachang was taught to smile and act proper, be well mannered and respect adults. If he tried to play outside his room or disturb his adoptive parents, embarrass them in front of anyone he was beat, reminded over and over that he should be grateful for what they have provided him.
Years passed, he was 12 now. There was a party for one particular event, an important one to his the two that took him in, Huachang starts pointing out people that aren't there. A mayor's son, a woman with large rings. People laughed at first thinking it a funny joke until his descriptions  became eerie in their details, their accuracy. Some guest become confused and disturbed whispering among themselves making Huachang feel small, scared. Mentioning people that have died around others he didn't know what he was doing, even mentioning his family members to his adoptive parents arriving he didn't know were dead. Pulling him from the room with apologies, excuses of the young boy being tired the man and woman he wished would love him for once growled that this game was over. But he was insistent, pushing for them to believe him. "They're right there!"
Banishing the boy to his room for the night with the promise of punishment later the little display cost then profits, spread rumors of the Xiao boy being crazy. They were furious the two, the ones who were supposed to care for him. Believe him, they were ashamed and disappointed at what Huachang had done. Lost them money, made them the laughing stock of the town but that wasn't his intention, not at all. But no matter how much he tried to tell them they just beat him, told him to mind his tongue if he wished to keep it. He was 14 now. For 2 years he was locked in his room, the only company he had was the nanny who soothed the boy the best she could, and the people that came to visit. But that's just the thing, no one was actually visiting. His adoptive parents screamed at him to stop talking to nothing, punished him when he asked in confusion what they meant. The nanny stayed with him that night as he cried, asking what he was doing wrong and she again tried to sooth him.. promised it would all go away and everything would be better soon. But it wouldn't. No more than a day after a black car arrived with windows so black he could barely see into it, staring down from his bedroom window. It was scary, something about it wasn't right.
Suddenly the door to his room was slammed open and two men in white rushed in grabbing he boy as he screamed, begged, questioned, but his adoptive parents didn't even look up from their afternoon tea to watch him be torn away from their home. Only the nanny begged, she was the only one who tried to stop them... but it was for not. Huachang cried the entire way, curled up between two men he didn't know clutching the white rabbit plushie he always found the most comfort in, safety when the nanny was gone. It had taken hours to arrive, night falling to the sky and though he had tried to stay awake the crying boy was not able having fallen asleep. When he awoke it was to rough hands pulling at his arms tearing him from the car and pulling him along to old gates clouded in fog. This place was surrounded with trees, screamed evilness and misery. Huachang sobbed, immediately hushed with a violent hiss from one of the guards escorting him. 'Obrisscura' read in stone above the large doors be was pulled to, Huachang had been sent to an old fashioned asylum, one that was hidden from the world. There his rabbit was pulled from him, the workers dragged him away. Day by day he was pulled into the white room to be given special therapies out of this delusion.
The family that adopted him made excuses as to why he did what he had when out in public and questioned. First they said he was just being defiant that maybe he wanted attention because he was they work all the time, but then they think that maybe he had caught something from his biological parents. Something mentally, and his adoptive mother milked all the sorrow others for them, crying fake tears, gaining attention and money the more people she got to feel sorry for her that her child has to be put into hospital. For a while different therapies are done until he can't express any emotion outside of smiling, can't speak because if he didn't know the person was dead someone would see and tell the doctor.  More years passed and the family had done everything to make sure the time he spent in there was all about them. More parties, lavish in their display, more business opportunities, they became rich on his misery. He was 17 when he was finally sent home, praised for how good he is, so much more perfect than before. So happy, such a perfect doll, and upon his arrival home more profit flocked to his family. More attention to his fake mother. Huachang doesn't seem anything less than normal to his play parents, but every night the nightmares if that place leave him screaming hourly in fear. The only time he makes a sound is when those memories come flooding back to him, leaving him in a cold sweat and tears running down his cheeks. For 2 months and endless nights he is subjected to this, the nanny rushing in to soothe him before he wakes up the Master and Mistress; weeping quietly for the boy.
One night the nightmares were particularly bad, shooting up from his sleep Huachang gasps out ready to scream but the sound is caught in his throat. In front of him is his nanny, the woman he felt was more like a mother to him than the woman that claimed to be down the call, covered in blood. Knife in hand. Huachang freezes looking from the knife to his nanny's eyes and she smiles that bright, comforting smile she always gave him. Loving, sincere. She reassures him she is alright, that the blood wasn't hers and that finally he was free. Free? What has she done? The language they had made secretly amongst themselves Huachang signed away asking what she meant but she just continued to smile, coming closer to sit in front of him in the bed. She explained that she was sorry, that she should have done this a long time ago before they hurt him this much and he shook his head signing that none of it was her fault. But she said it was, because she took to long to end their lives so he wouldn't need to suffer anymore.. but she wanted him to be old enough.
Kissing his forehead she didn't give him time to react, placing a letter in his hand and whispering there was a car downstairs for him with a present inside. Huachang was confused, holding that hand she cupped his cheek with wishing he could speak but he just couldn't anymore. He couldn't. He was pulled softly from the bed guided to the luggage she packed for him, escorting him to be door while shielding him from his parents room. It was at the car that something felt odd, something felt wrong. She reassured him again like she always did and explained she couldn't go when he asked her, begged her not to stay here but she just kissed his head again.. whispered she would find him and he was pulled away. Forced to watch her out the back of the window and she got smaller, before she disappeared right before his eyes. Right in front of him. She had been dead the whole time and he didn't even notice it. He wanted to weep but the sudden sound of thumping against a box distracted his emotions, eyes falling to the cardboard at his side wrapped loosely with a bow. Looking to the driver the nod he gave didn't make it any easier to open it, the bow falling with one tug and inside. A white rabbit with the prettiest red eyes.
Its been years since then. He was 23 now, going to school, learned to dance. Still he has no friends outside his little bun, didn't want any and the ones that did approach he avoided unsure who was dead anymore. Huachang was content for a while but the letter he was given burned a hole through him every time he passed the box he had tossed it in. He didn't read the letter until he felt ready, because for some reason he felt it would make whatever he had left of his beloved nanny disappear for good. But today, he decided he was done running from it. Opening the letter it revealed so much he didn't understand, so many things that made no sense yet made everything make complete sense. It's what made him come here, made him travel to this place. Mount Phoenix.
PANTHEON: Celtic CHILD OF: Arawn POWERS: Can speak to the dead and often tries to bring back small animals he finds that have recently died. STRENGTHS: Fast learner, emotionally detached, adaptable, expert in performing arts WEAKNESSES: allergy to cucumber, nightmares often bring lack of sleep, mute

before i say anything, i would just like to say that i definitely agree with many of your points; that abuse was normal back then, that liu qingge beating the shit out of his students is NOT a good method of teaching, justice being a scale, and that luo bingge is an awful, cruel person who went above and beyond for revenge.
while i know the main point of your post is that luo bingge wasn't "cool" for "taking revenge" (which i also agree with... because bingge, holy shit), at least to me, it feels like you're slightly dismissing how shen jiu was also cruel to luo binghe. i do see that you already acknowledge that abuse is abuse, yes, but fail to mention that shen jiu specifically went out of his way to exclude and abuse luo binghe, a child who didn't do anything. he wasn't just mean to everyone (excluding ning yingying). there is a difference between just being mean and being horrifically cruel, just like how there's also a difference between wanting justice and being cruel.
lets be honest: in ancient china, there was nothing wrong with a teacher physically abusing a student. it was common even. im not saying its okay but it HAPPENED and A LOT. for gods sake, it was normal in my country to teachers beat students until the 90s! even after that!
yes, definitely! it wasn't okay but it did happen a lot. but, i believe you forgot to mention that yue qingyuan himself thought the punishments to be too far. in the first chapter, yue qingyuan literally tells his xiao-jiu this, and he lets him get away with everything! if he, a guilt-ridden man (or even any authority back then who wouldn't blink an eye at ancient china abuse!) even slightly goes, "uh.. hey, i know you don't like him but aren't you being too harsh..?" it's a pretty big deal.
"Yue Qingyuan sighed. "I know you don't like him. But that child's already worked hard enough, and he hasn't made any significant mistakes. Don't punish him any further, all right?"" - Chapter 1: Scum
pouring boiling hot tea on a child upon first contact? giving a preteen a false cultivation manual that could literally kill him? having luo binghe's peers actively group against him?
"He always found new ways to taunt and demean Luo Binghe, even enlisting the boy's peers to belittle him. Throughout these years of studying, Luo Binghe endured every humiliation. It was another heart-wrenching arc in his story, filled with blood and tears." - Chapter 1: Scum
this could just be shen yuan over exaggerating and being a bingge stan, but he is the oh so infamous peerless cucumber who has everything memorized despite being an unreliable narrator when he goes through the action himself. the whole thing with him is that he's so familiar with PIDW so well to the point he's blinded by it, unable to see the new storyline SVSSS offers.
im not saying shen jiu was right, or what he did a good thing, because it wasnt. abuse is always abuse, and it should be treated as it is. but lets take Bai Zhan Peak as an example. Liu Qingge beat the shit out of his disciples, and no one batted an eye
i believe the reason why no one really batts an eye at liu qingge beating his disciples is because he, while it is still child abuse and not at all a good teaching method or teacher, wasn't specifically cruel to one or a couple of kids. to him, i'm sure it was a teaching method to him. beat up a couple of little brats and they'll learn how to fight, surely (hey, i could be wrong! we never get liu qingge's pov, but i genuinely believe this is what he thought based on just watching how his character works). shen jiu wanted to torment and outright kill luo binghe.
plus, shen jiu is known to be a cruel and lecherous teacher (yes, i know the lecherous part is false, but the cruel part isn't). what does that say about him, when even this xianxia world with slaves and horrible abusive punishments thinks that?
but thats not my point right now, my point is: Luo Bingge was not "cool" for "taking revenge" cause what he did was not revenge, it was pure CRUELTY
it would be revenge if he hit shen jiu with a whip several times. it would be revenge if he made him do forced domestic work. it would be revenge, if he made him go through the same suffering that shen qingqiu put him through in the abyss
like i said earlier, i do agree that luo bingge wasn't cool or anything for taking revenge.
but, everyone has different viewpoints on what exactly revenge is. you may see revenge as a scale, but luo bingge sees it in a more twisted, crueler way. just because he's heinously cruel with it doesn't mean it isn't revenge.
Revenge: the action of inflicting hurt or harm on someone for an injury or wrong suffered at their hands.
now, to clear things up a bit more, i am in no way saying this to try and defend bingge and i don't believe you should like him or whatever. everyone has their own opinions, hate him, love him, whatever! but, i do wish for what he went through to be thoroughly recognized. just like how i wish for shen jiu's struggles to be recognized as well. hurt people hurt other people.
it's horrible what luo bingge did. he brought everyone down, not just shen jiu. but to him, in his sick way of what he believes is fair, that is perfectly acceptable revenge. that is the only way he can (unhealthily) cope with the abuse he went through.
maybe to you it's not equal. that a couple of whips should do it, or throwing shen jiu down into the abyss.
but luo binghe does think it is. the bottled rage has been building up for years, and he cannot let go of it until he throws it up on shen jiu and everyone else who has ever wronged him. those lonely nights at the shed as a scared, confused child. being discarded as a disgusting mix of human and demon. his first time of intimacy being with someone (qin wanyue) who basically coerce raped him. the knowledge that shen jiu, this almighty cultivator who he so desperately looked up to and forgave and made excuses for time and time again as a lonely child didn't care about him at all? to the point the man outright just wanted to kill him? how can he possible make shen jiu understand how he felt? his pain? betrayal? misery?
so, luo bingge destroys everything shen jiu has, and ultimately, him as well. but it doesn't help. because no matter what, shen jiu will never understand. and it continues and continues, the misery and incompleteness. the suffering and emptiness. to the point where luo bingge throws away all his hard work in the bingge vs bingmei extra just so that the void from meaningless vengeance can be filled with love instead.
that doesn't excuse anything luo bingge did though. he's a murderer, a manipulative womanizer, a rapist, a selfish man-child who can't let go of the past and move on because his rage is the only thing that keeps him warm. like you said, luo bingge is a horrible, disgustingly cruel monster who can only live with the blood of his enemies on his claws and pumping through his veins. he only proves shen jiu right in the end (but, obviously this doesn't mean what shen jiu did to him was right and that just because someone turns out to be a terrible person, what they went through as a child shouldn't be used against them or justified, like "oh, well they did this so what they went through was completely deserved!").
and, i'm sure someone out there in PIDW is planning to do the exact same thing to luo binghe as luo bingge did to shen jiu.
luo bingge and shen jiu are both tragically horrific characters. abusers. the products of the cycle of abuse. cruel in their own ways, but ultimately parallels with their own twisted morals and ways they see the world. they are fascinating and i want to put them under a microscope as they rip each other's faces off. i personally actually love both of them and their little fucked up shit they have going on. i would've done the same explaining shen jiu's whole thing if this post seemed dismissive of luo binghe's actions and cruelty against him.
all in all, again, i know that the point of your post was that, but to me, the way you worded some things comes off as dismissive to the horrific treatment luo binghe suffered through/shen jiu's actions and character. i don't believe "bad" can be measured, since everyone has different ways of scaling. to someone else, they may think that stealing is just as bad as smacking someone. they may think that murder is wrong no matter the situation, even if it was self defense.
but, i could be wrong about your intention with that! i'm not you, i can only come to my own conclusions based on what i read. i hope you know that this wasn't meant to attack you or anything of that sort. i really do agree with the general gist of this post. while i don't really see people exactly praising luo bingge for what he did like you, it would definitely unnerve and disgust me if i saw people doing that as well. and, apologies for the long reblog
i think i finally understand why i hate luo bingge so much
i usually love the kind of character he is: vengeful, merciless, villainous. im all the way down for villains with a reason for them to be evil (and if you think bingge is anything BUT a villain, youre wrong). but i didnt felt that way toward bingge. and that really bothered me
there is a very thin line between revenge and cruelty. but its still there. and bingge crossed that line
that 👇👇 is the best way i could explain the difference
Tumblr media
lets be honest: in ancient china, there was nothing wrong with a teacher physically abusing a student. it was common even. im not saying its okay but it HAPPENED and A LOT. for gods sake, it was normal in my country to teachers beat students until the 90s! even after that!
im not saying shen jiu was right, or what he did a good thing, because it wasnt. abuse is always abuse, and it should be treated as it is. but lets take Bai Zhan Peak as an example. Liu Qingge beat the shit out of his disciples, and no one batted an eye
but thats not my point right now, my point is: Luo Bingge was not "cool" for "taking revenge" cause what he did was not revenge, it was pure CRUELTY
!!Spoiler alert!!
it would be revenge if he hit shen jiu with a whip several times. it would be revenge if he made him do forced domestic work. it would be revenge, if he made him go through the same suffering that shen qingqiu put him through in the abyss
but no.
he made the entire cultivation world see sqq again as nothing more than the slave he was, he ripped off shen jiu's legs and arms, he tortured him for god knows how much time, he let his wives torture him, he destroyed the ENTIRE sect that had nothing to do with it, and he killed the only person shen qingqiu really cared about
and dont get me started on how he destroyed earth by bringing together the demonic and human worlds
lets use a metaphor for better understanding: theres a perfectly balanced scale between you, and every other person. And when someone hurts you, theres this natural desire to push back. To seek justice. To bring those scales back into balance. But when you do the other side of the scale never dipped below the balancing point
and thats not what bingge wanted. he didnt want the scale to be equal
because even if things were restored exactly to the way they were before, shen jiu would never knew what bingge felt like
he would never be brought down. And THATS what bingge wanted
he didnt wanted justice for what shen jiu did to him. he didnt wanted revenge either. he wanted to be cruel
he turned into a monster
and that make me sick
i honestly cant stand seeing people praising bingge as if he was a good person for doing what he did

A Small Predicament [Baby Genshin x Reader]
Tumblr media
Characters: Scaramouche, Diluc, Kaeya, Childe, Xiao, Zhongli, Albedo
Synopsis: Cursed for a week, the boys either have to live with it or find a cure as soon as possible. You on the otherhand hoped otherwise.
(A/n): It only takes ONE glance for me to start having ideas. It was twelve in the morning yall, enjoy~
Oh here's part 2
--------
Scaramouche
• "Oh you shrank? I couldn't tell-"
• Threatens that he will murder you to pieces and burn your remains but his voice was so squeaky and high pitched (voice crack) that you couldn't help but burst into a tearful laughter.
• Its payback time  Bully him, take his hat and hover it above his head. Truthfully, without his hat Scaramouche looks like a little schoolboy. Overall less intimidating.
• Tries glaring. Cute. He's really bratty as a kid, sitting on a high chair (which you had to help him get on) and demanding his servants to do his bidding. In reality, his personality never changed. You realized that even as a grown up he still acts like this (bratty kid in a grown man body).
• The curse made his week a living hell. Signora had the audacity to pull his ear when he misbehaves. Childe constantly messes with his hair while giving head pats and the WORST of all, pinching his cheeks. Scaramouche never wanted to commit arson so bad in his life.
• Eventually finds a cure so he doesn't have to deal with it anymore and orders everyone to never speak of it again. Though, he's plotting how he'll get revenge on everyone who made fun of him using the very same curse (You better run).
~~x~~
Diluc
• "Oh…Oh my! Diluc you're just so cute!"
• Diluc grimaces as you glomp him in this state. How can you help it? With his head so small it makes his hair all the more fluffier! His coat no longer fits him to the point the sleeves had made past his fingertips. He tried wielding his claymore again, only to lose balance and fall flat onto his bum
• (insert kid voice "Retribution!") Did I mention the babyface?
• Diluc tries to act as if everything was normal, acting like the Darknight hero and Mondstadt's Tycoon but fun-sized. He couldn't. There was no way people would take him seriously in business meetings. Same with fighting abyss mages, his smaller form was too much of a disadvantage. Thus you ended up doing most of his paperwork.
• One time you caught him sitting on the floor couldn't reach his office desk  while reading away the various books for a cure. It was three in the morning. You told him it was way past his bedtime and he argues saying when did he ever have a curfew schedule. In the end you managed to convince him and he begrudgingly obliges.
• The type to NOT ask for help even when it's obvious that he really needs it. Before he was the one who helped you reach things from the top shelves, oh how the tables have turned. He avoids Kaeya like a plague unless he was in it for another round of funny remarks. When he wanted to go out and get some fresh air, you insisted on accompanying him. Worst mistake in his life. A travelling merchant bumps into you and commented that you had a very cute son. Diluc was mortified.
• The day ended up with him sulking in his room. Although it was tempting, you resisted from cooing over his adorable form after days of treating him like a child. It wasn't because you were teasing him, Diluc just works so hard that you wanted to spoil him a bit. At least he could still play a game of chess with you.
• When things went back to normal, Diluc ensures that you will NOT see him as your son.
~~x~~
Kaeya
• "Well look who it is, my little Prince Kaeya~"
• Tries really hard not be bothered by it at all. Kaeya still maintains his suave facade, throwing in a couple of flirting lines here and there (and forcing his voice to go a few octaves too low in which puberty has yet to occur HA). Though no matter what approach, he couldn't ignore the sparkling mischievious glint in your eye. You were obviously not taking him seriously.
• Things couldn't get any worse. He lost his masculine physique and boob window, he wasn't able to go to certain places without supervision. But the worst thing of all was that he was underaged. Kaeya hated the fact he couldn't drink anymore, he even insisted you to sneak him a few bottles (which you refused) and had to settle with plain beverages such as fruit juice (what an insult). He was never really grounded since his childhood days but he certainly felt like he was grounded now.
• Kaeya still kisses you on the lips whether you like it or not. If you ask him to sit on your lap, he will find a way to turn the position into his favour such as resting his face between your breasts. You're not gonna treat him like a kid, nuh-uh, he actively avoids it.
• Since his personality still remains, Kaeya is a naughty child. He will use his innocent appearance to sway people (even you) to get what he wants. That was how he was able to take a sip of the wine he stole somewhere (he wouldn't tell you). Diluc scolded him heavily and threatened to ban him from drinking from his Tavern for a week (they ended up arguing, Kaeya being the passive aggressive little shit he is).
• He was extremely relieved to return back to his normal form again. He has so much to catch up (specifically his bedtime activities with you *wink wonk*)
~~x~~
Child(e)
• "Hmmm to be honest, this actually suits you very much."
• Unlike the other boys, Childe was completely okay with it. Turns out that YOU were the one who was not going to be okay. If you thought taking care of Teucer was energy-draining then expect Childe to take that tenfold and beyond.
• You've officially became his full-time babysitter who is in desperate need of a raise (and rest). You can't take your eyes off of him and archons forbid that he will ever meet Klee. One point he'll be running ahead by your side and the next you'll find him getting himself in a 1vs7 situation with some shady looking treasure hoarders. Childe genuinely thinks he could take them on but the curse downgraded his abilities. You carried him and barely made out of it alive. (This made you ponder whether the best solution would be to strap him against a chair for the time being…)
• Childe being a child will eat all the candies and ice cream he pleases. You wonder if the curse also turned him a few years back or was it that he acts like this simply because he wanted to (it was the latter). He loves being spoiled, spoiled by you! Childe demands your full attention, spoon-feeding his meals, back rubs and head pats. Yep, he's definitely doing this on purpose.
• Did he just call you 'mommy'? (Childe has mommy kink confirmed).  He has so much energy that it was exhausting, you literally had to drag him away from what ever he was doing in order to get him to bed. "No Childe, your sleeping time is 9p.m stop whining." He bargained that he'll sleep if you sleep beside him (you didn't get any sleep. You knew what he was planning. In the end, you tried to make sure he didn't sneak out behind your back.)
• Finally you were able to get out of that hell-hole. Childe promised to make it up to you, you deserve it after all~
~~x~~
Small (aka Xiao)
• "Did you know in the Liyuean language, Xiao translates to small?" You didn't say that out loud. Not when he's this angry (this angy)
• He just stands there, crossing his arms and grumbling. You were hesitant to touch him in case he might hiss at you. Xiao has always been short, maybe an inch taller than you, but seeing him like this made you think 'my almighty yaksha can't be this cute♡'
• He gets mad when you no longer call his name for help. How could you? He's just so precious~ Xiao makes it clear that no matter what form he takes, it doesn't make him weak ("Adepti and you mortals are nothing alike." Or so he says but you could tell he wasn't running as fast as he used to because…small legs). You may not comment on it aloud but he can tell just by the look on your face and it irritates him.
• Also the type to not ask for help but worse. Xiao is an agressive little kid, he seems as if he'll be willing to bite someone's finger off if they try to pet him (He gives strong cat vibes, so thats understandable). His spear was too big for him to wield so he often has to put it away or else he might knock someone over with it. Xiao hates being short so you'll be hearing him complain alot.
• Since he was an adepti, he didn't need to sleep however, the curse must have brought down his power by a significant amount to the point you DID catch him napping. You almost swooned out loud just by taking a glance upon his face. For once he didn't wear his signature grumpy look. Xiao appears like a normal child, one full of innocence. His snoring was soft and breathly but that just meant he was deep asleep. (You wished to take a picture).
• Of course, everything had to come to an end (much to your disappointment), he still complains about the incident to this day.
~~x~~
Zhongli
• How is it possible for a baby to still look so handsome? (Must be his godly abilities)
• Zhongli is unfazed by this 'curse' since his past lives have already taken many forms. Though for some reason whenever he walks down the streets of Liyue, young girls, mothers, ladies all come him was and start complimenting him and gushing over him (he was suffocating). They'd squeeze him tight or squish his cheeks, it only takes once glance before the little girls start blushing and hiding behind their moms.
• Needless to say, despite what form he is in, Zhongli is still able to get free stuff. He got some free candies and some free kites to play with. You had to help him carry his items. Zhongli ends up tripping too much because his tailcoat reached his feet (he decided to just take it off. You had to hold that too). Seems like he can have anyone do things for him in the end HA.
• He still got that drippy voice and you're just like ???? "What on Teyvat Zhongli, you're a kid." This is why you can't see him as one, its nearly impossible.
• Actively avoids Hu Tao and Childe. Once Hu Tao caught sight of him and chased him for hours, he couldn't stay in one spot knowing that she might just pop out of no where. Childe still spoils him, however Zhongli feels irritated by the fact the only things Childe buys him toys (its different when other people do it.)
• Everytime you guys go back strolling through Liyue, you had to hold his hand in case more women come swarming hin again. You swear that at this rate he might get kidnapped because hes just such a beautiful baby.
• Zhongli learned an important lesson after his curse was lifted: no matter how many years he lives throughout  never take a form of a child.
~~x~~
Albedo
• You find him buried beneath a pile of books and had to dig him out before he suffocates.
• Albedo has the cutest eyes, they're big and round full of curiosity and they sparkle too (he has the prettiest eyes out of everyone tbh). He is the only person who is fascinated by this outcome and immediately goes in the wild to test out his new physique.
• He was always curious why Klee T-poses when she runs so he decided to try it out himself. She was thrilled to find out that she now has a little brother to play with. In the end, Albedo indulges in the games she always wanted to play but couldn't because he was too old: princess dress up tea parties.
• You felt many things when you saw Albedo wearing a frilly gown and a plastic tiara tucked on his head. Deep down you knew regardless of what gender Albedo was still pretty. Klee even had the guts to redo his hair and hardly anyone was able to recognize it was him at all. He has pigtails, PIGTAILS! You made sure to burn that image into the very depths of your mind forever.
• The only advantage was the he was ablw to fit through small spaces, other than that, being small was way too inconvenient. He knocked down a few of his potion bottles which damaged the floor (thankfully not him) because they were lethal (he wonders how Klee was able to not injure herself when using bombs). You carried him and lifted him to alot of places such as trudging through the snow because Albedo would surely fall on his face due to his small form.
• Enough was enough, he only lasted a day with this and decided to just make a potion and put an end to the curse once and for all.

Beach Days with The Genshin Characters!
Wc: 1.7k+
Type: Headcanons
CW: umm nothing except mentions of alcohol and maybe people being creeps? (None of the chars or you tho it’s very brief)
A/N: HI IM BACK FROM THE DEAD! These were supposed to be a lot shorter but I got too excited. If you by any chance wanna see some for your fav character lmk! I know it says request are closed in my bio but since it’s just hcs it’s a lot less (and I really enjoyed writing these so ajdhdhdk)
Tumblr media
🔥Diluc:
This man cannot swim. Tell me otherwise, I dare you.
Kaeya tried to jokingly push him off a lil diving cliff area when they were kids.
He almost drowned. Kaeya was in a lot of trouble.
So, good luck getting this man to actually get in the water. The most he’ll do is sit on the shore where it’s very shallow.
He usually prefers to just stay under an umbrella on the sand and keep an eye on you.
Calls you every two hours in advance and helps you reapply sunscreen.
He’s very pale so I feel like he burns pretty easily, meaning he needs to reapply super frequently otherwise he will become a tomato. He brings like three bottles of the good shit. Tch, rich boy.
If you ask him to build a sandcastle, he will pretend to be annoyed but do it anyways. Ends up finding it kind of enjoyable.
He has the maids prepare a nice picnic basket for the two of you!! It’s got all your favorite foods plus grape juice cuz y’know.
If any creepy peeps approach you, don’t worry. He brought his vision and his claymore.
Of course, he won’t have to resort to such violent lengths. Everyone in Mondstadt knows who Diluc is and they probably know you’re his s/o, so they’re usually smart enough to mind their own business.
If they don’t, don’t worry. Diluc’s glare is more than enough to scare them away.
All in all I definitely recommend a beach day with him! I’ll give it a solid 8/10 (-2 for not wearing floaties and getting in the water with you or letting you teach him how to swim.
🖌Albedo:
You guys definitely 100% take Klee out with you on a beach day.
You guys bring snacks, beach toys like buckets and shovels for optimal sandcastle building, a picnic blanket, etc.
Jean definitely packs a lot more stuff for you guys to take with you than you actually need.
It’s only cuz she’s worried for Klee and is nervous about not being able to go with you guys though! It’s very sweet really.
Klee tries to bomb the fish and cause havoc at the beach 😭
I think Albedo is a good swimmer and gets in with you and Klee so that he can help her (which is very cute omfg)
He’s set total workaholic, as we know, so it took a lot of convincing to get him to put down his experiments and accompany you to the beach (however, he’s particularly weak to yours and klee’s puppy dog eyes so he caved eventually)
Though, looking at you and Klee happily building sandcastles and decorating them with pretty seashells of all shapes and colors, he can’t really find it in himself to complain.
He, of course, takes this opportunity to take out his sketchbook and draw the waves, seagulls, you… Of course he won’t let you see the sketch book no sir. He’s a bit embarrassed to be honest, but an artist such as himself recognizes beauty when he sees it so he simply had to draw you. (God I love him so much)
If a creepy person approaches you,- well don’t worry. The sight of a small arsonist child blowing up fish is enough to scare them away 🥰
At the end of the day, all three of you are all ticketed out. Albedo has to carry Klee back to Mondstadt because the poor baby fell asleep the moment you started drying her hair with the beach towel. You’re, of course, carrying back Dodoco and your bags. (You also manage to sneak a peak at Albedo’s sketchbook and find some very pretty drawings of you and Klee with your sandcastle)
At the end of the day, you guys tuck Klee in and read her a bedtime story (she woke up and insisted). Afterwards Albedo takes you back home and thanks you for coming with you and Klee (which you ofc say wasn’t a problem because how could you not???)
All in all? I’ll give it a solid 10/10. You’ve got tasty food, fun times, your boyfriend and his cute kid adoptive sister (yes I am very biased idc)
🦋Xiao:
I think it would take a lot of convincing to get Xiao to go out on a beach date with you.
He’ll probably see it as a distraction getting in the way of his slaying of monsters and demons.
However, he also worships the grounds you walk on (hehe, simp XD), so I don’t think it’ll take that much convincing on your part (especially because it’s is self appointed duty to keep you safe so if you insist on going with or without him, he supposes he’ll have to go)
Is definitely a bit tense at first. He doesn’t know how to let loose and chill so while you’re sun tanning on a beach chair he’s like 🧍‍♂️ahdgshjsjd
Eventually calms down a bit though! You get him to relax and eat some almond tofu you brought along with you. It definitely gets him to perk up.
I don’t think he would mind getting into the water but I do think he’d rather walk along the shore and collect pretty seashells and sea glass.
He later gives the ones he deems pretties to you (he hands them over to you with a blush on his face and pretends it’s not a big deal and he definitely gets all pouty and grouchy when you coo at how adorable he is)
As for creeps, Xiao is both intimidating and well known in Liyue. No one is brave enough (or, let’s be honest, dumb enough) to approach you with any bad intentions.
Sure, Xiao has sworn never to harm a human/citizen of Liyue but that doesn’t mean he can’t scare the absolute shit out of them.
I think Xiao would definitely enjoy a beach day 🥺🥺. He’d find it very relaxing to go out with you and just hear the sound of waves and feel the sand under his feet.
He’d definitely hint at wanting to do it again later. Of course, he won’t tell you. No, that’s a foolish mortal activity and he has much better things to do.
Wait no, don't turn around, yes he will go with you next month.
All in all, I give Xiao a 9/10. It’s a very relaxing day (which he deserves 😤). And you get to see a whole new side of him.
💎Ningguang:
OK SO ORIGINALLY I WASN'T GONNA WRITE ONE FOR HER (at least not in this post) BUT THEN I THOUGHT OF LADY NINGGUANG TAKING YOU TO A WHOLE ASS PRIVATE BEACH
She knows you don’t care about how exclusive the beach you go to is (in fact, the fact that you don’t care about where you are or what you do is one of the things that make her fall more and more madly in love with you) but you deserve the best so she’s gonna go all out.
She’s a busy lady so days like this where the two of you get to go somewhere and be together are few and far between.
She knows it’s hard to be in a relationship with someone who is busy 24/7, so she appreciates how you remain by her side despite all hardships. (Y’all are a whole ass power couple istg)
The two of you spend your day relaxing. Sun bathing, drinking piña coladas, maybe taking a dip in the ocean. It’s all very pleasant!
Ningguang doesn’t quite feel like the type of person who would sit in the sand and make sandcastle, however you’re more than welcome to make some yourself. She finds it endearing <3
If you insist on her helping, she’ll eventually comply. She loves you too much to say no. I feel like she’ll either be terrible at it or like a total architect.
Sand is technically like tiny rocks right? So maybe she can use her vision to help her? If that’s the case, she’s making a replica of the Jade chamber out of sand.
If any creepy person comes up to you don’t worry. Ningguang will buy the whole beach and then use her right of admission as owner to permanently ban them from the beach you’re at.
The only downside to a day at the beach with Ningguang might be that there’s a big chance she’ll be called to tend urgent matters, seeing as she is the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing and all.
If that does happen, she’ll be sure to make it up to you somehow, whether it be rescheduling or taking care of the matter as soon as possible so that the two of you can get back to your day of relaxation and fun.
All in all?? Lady Ningguang will treat you like total royalty and the two of you will have an amazing time! I give her an 11/10 (she would literally buy a whole beach for you to be comfortable I mean c’mon)
🍃Venti:
BEACH DAYS WITH HIM ARE SO FUN!!
Swimming? Yeah, he’d love to! Sunbathing? Sure! He’ll ever conjure up a light breeze for the two of you. Sandcastle building? WELL OF COURSE WHY DO YOU THING HE BROUGHT ALL THESE BUCKETS AND SHOVELS?
No but seriously, he might be the best person out of everyone here to go to the beach with. He’s fun, free spirited, and he’s a traveling bard who’s been alive long enough to know where all the best beaches in Teyvat are. (He also knows a guy- er, well, dragon I suppose- who is willing to fly them to any place).
He’ll play some soft tunes while you doze under the sun.
HE PICKS PRETTY SHELLS AND GIFTS THEM TO YOU!!!
He will bring booze. I’m pretty sure this is a necessity. If you’re a little upset about it, he’ll probably “eheh~” his way out of it. That slick bastard.
If you really insist on him not drinking, he won’t consume much alcohol.
If some creepy person approaches you and tries to ruin you your day of beach time fun, all of their stuff will suddenly be blown away, causing them to scramble back to their spot and (almost embarrassingly) flail around trying to catch everything. What a shame…
At the end of the day, he’d be a little sad to leave. Definitely makes plans about tbe two of you going back soon.
I gotta give him a 10/10 he’s just so fun omg.

Hello! May I have some fluffy headcanons of Childe, Zhongli, Venti, and Xiao taking care of you when you’re sick? Thank you so much and have a lovely day ❤️
thank u anon! i hope u have an awesome day too :D
one order of a donut coming right up ! i hope you enjoy it, and ty for ordering from quill's dessert cafe 🍧
please reblog ! it helps a lot :)
Tumblr media
🍩 genshin boys taking care of you when you're sick
feat; childe, venti, xiao, zhongli x gn!reader
warnings; mention of medicine, not proofread
Tumblr media
childe.
Tumblr media
childe, the 11th of the fatui harbingers, a man whose name is whispered reverently on the lips of the fatui members who respect him greatly, a man who is feared across teyvat for his bloodthirstiness and renowned for his eagerness to fight, is also the man standing in your kitchen and making you hot soup.
ajax grew up with many younger siblings, so he definitely has experience taking care of a sick person. since you're his s/o, he'll treat you with the utmost care, showing you the tender side of himself he hides from everyone else.
first off, childe will definitely going to scold you if you try to get out of bed, but not in an angry way? it's in a very concerned way, so he's hoping you can realise that and not be upset with him. something along the lines of - "ajax, i've got to go do my commissions." "no way! you're staying in bed, boyfriend's orders." "last i checked you aren't a doctor." "last i checked you're still sick, so go lie down." if you still refuse, he'll pout at you, "please? for me?" he knows the unstoppable power of his puppy eyes, and he also knows you get completely swayed whenever he uses them, so he tends to utilise the adorable expression to his advantage when he can. being a harbinger means that he treats everything like a battle and always knows how to get the upper hand - perks of the job?
if he wasn't a wanted criminal in literally every country in teyvat, childe would go get medicine for you from the nearest pharmacy, but unfortunately, he is. hence why he disguises himself in a huge overcoat and messy blonde wig to try and appear more normal - who's going to tell him it only makes him stand out more? either way, he manages to get the medicine for you, although he'll quickly brush it off if you ever ask why he has a wig lying around when you recover.
overall, if you ever fall sick, childe is an amazing nurse to have, as he actually knows how to cook, gets you the right medicine, and you'll be back on your feet in no time. once you're well though, expect a lot of cuddles from tartaglia, as he claims that he needs to make up for the few days he was deprived of your touch.
Tumblr media
venti.
Tumblr media
venti may be the (ex)-anemo archon, but he has absolutely no clue how on earth to nurse a sick person. that doesn't mean he isn't worried about you though! as soon as he realises you've fallen ill, he brings you to the cathedral, and begs barbara to heal you. the deaconess is slightly suspicious of venti after what he did to the holy lyre, but she can see the genuine concern in his blue-green eyes, plus it's her pleasure to help others, so of course barbara accepts his plea.
even though he isn't actively healing or nursing you, venti still stays by your side the entire time. in fact, venti stares suspiciously at literally every single thing that the nuns bring to help you, questioning them and ensuring it is of the highest possible quality, because he only wants the best for his windblume. he's also always buzzing around you, a bit like a bee, flitting from side to side to make sure you're alright. in fact, the only way barbara could get him to sit still and keep quiet was by threatening to kick him out because he was hindering your recovery.
since venti pretty much has nothing to do except drink, play songs at the plaza, and relax his days away, he spends all of his time with you. most of the time you're half-asleep, which according to barbara is normal because you need as much rest as you can get. however, venti worries that you'll get bored, and so he sings to you, strumming his lyre gently from his seat beside your bed. his mellifluous voice helps ease you into a deep sleep, with a small smile curving your face. when you recover, venti claims it was mostly his singing that cured you, and barbara only did a quarter of the work.
as soon as you're well enough, venti takes you back home, where he surprises you with a huge bouquet of windwheel asters and cecilias as a token of how much he missed you. he'll be stuck to your side like glue for the rest of the foreseeable future, whining dramatically every time you try to leave - there isn't much difference from his normal self, to be honest, so you don't mind either way.
basically venti tries his best to be as supportive and helpful as possible while you're ill, even if he does get in the healer's way most of the time and ends up getting scolded, it's worth it to see your joyous smile when you're healthy again.
Tumblr media
xiao.
Tumblr media
xiao is the only living yaksha left, and he has conquered horrific demons for millenia, but when it comes to mortal illnesses, he's at a loss for what to do. he does know you need to rest, so he carries you to his bedroom at wangshu inn and tucks you into bed. he even allows you to press a grateful kiss to his cheek, which quickly turn red after, claiming 'adepti aren't affected by sicknesses such as these.'
honestly, xiao is going to be the most terrified about you falling sick. he's always known mortals were weak in comparison to adepti, but this is the first time he's truly being faced with your evident mortality. sure, it's just a cold, but xiao is being hit with the reality that you could easily die from something like this, whereas he wouldn't even fall ill in the first place. and so from here on, he tries to be a lot more vocal and physical about his love for you, and though it's difficult, he really is trying his best to convey his emotions to you.
xiao dislikes liyue harbour, not because it's ugly or because it threatens to take away his job as the number one defender of liyue, but because of the crowds. it hurts his head to hear all their countless desires ringing out as he strolls through, and he feels as if he's only tainting their happiness by merely being there. but for you, xiao would walk through hell and back, so he sharpens his resolve, and after a quick consultation with verr goldet, heads off to bubu pharmacy. baizhu is amazed that there is a genuine adeptus standing at his entrance, but wraps up the medicine and demands the payment. however, baizhu is a very sly man, and he knows very well this adeptus has no clue what is going on, and hence baizhu charges an extremely exorbitant price for the medicines. but when xiao pays it without hesitation, walking off a second later, baizhu wonders if he should have asked for more.
back at wangshu inn, xiao will ensure you take your medicines and also request for food to be sent up to the room three times a day - since he has his own duties as a yaksha too, he can't cook for you, although some part of him secretly wishes he could. xiao does check in on you whenever he can though! you'll usually be sleeping when he pops into the room, but he'll adjust your blanket, change the cloth on your forehead, and try to make you as comfortable as possible.
it's safe to say xiao is overjoyed when you recover, though it's only obvious by the way he holds onto tighter and for longer than usual when he hugs you for a few days after your recovery. and he's basically the sweetest ever, so 10/10 recommend getting a personal xiao to be your nurse if you're sick.
Tumblr media
zhongli.
Tumblr media
zhongli, consultant of the wangsheng funeral parlour, and former geo archon is probably able to compete with childe for how well he takes care of you when you're sick. zhongli's renowned for being chock full of knowledge, and this goldmine of information stored in his head even extends to illnesses and their cures, luckily for you.
zhongli is a man who lives his life with order, so the first thing he'll do if you fall sick is request leave from master hu tao. she obviously permits him, she's literally the captain of the y/n x zhongli ship. next, he'll return home and make you lie down on the fluffy bed, stacking up pillows all around you while also opening the windows so you can have some crisp fresh air. after that, he'll manage to make some porridge for you and if you're so sick that you can't eat it yourself, zhongli willingly feeds you - he's just that much of a sweetheart.
aside from your illness, things would be totally perfect if it wasn't for your boyfriend's utter lack of mora. baizhu's prices are ridiculously high, but they do promise a speedy recovery, and that takes priority over the cost for zhongli. and that is how he finds himself at childe's doorstep, asking to borrow some of the famed currency. childe's pockets are deep, almost too deep, so he has no qualms about lending zhongli as much money as he needs. things work out then, as zhongli ends up with enough finances to purchase medicine, baizhu gets to make a profit, childe still has enough money to buy a planet, and you get to recover from your sickness! it's a win-win situation for everybody.
while you're resting, zhongli will usually sit beside you, reading his book and checking on you every few minutes. if you're awake but still needing to lie down, zhongli will oblige you and tell you stories of when he was an archon. you're the only person he trusts enough to share these tales and experiences with - you should consider yourself blessed, for even after all his millions of years of living, you shine like gold in his memories. if you're the playful type, this is your best opportunity to get zhongli to do whatever you want. he's always been wrapped around your little finger, but when you're ill? if you asked him to jump, he'd immediately ask 'how high?' he's completely head over heels for you.
so yes, overall, zhongli is also one of the best boys to have take care of you when you're sick, because he's very attentive to your needs, and with his wealth of information, you'll be on your feet again in no time.

previous anon from that xiao ask, ophichius (body swap) childe fluff with reader being the traveler in inazuma. hijinks ensue as traveler tries to stuff up fatui plotting and trying to talk to her friends like xiangling and keqing in childe's body and childe wreaking havoc and killing everything in inazuma. bonus points if childe injures the traveler's body whilst fighting and tries to make up for it by leaving his poor attempts at cooking before the bodyswap reverts
carried away (hc scenario)
penpal: bless u anon for this wonderful req along with xiao’s <<3 hope you like this !! (stay tuned for ur xiao req)
prompt: ophiuchus the snake, body-swap soulmate au (in this fanfic, you and childe randomly swapped bodies and not when you turn into a certain age.)
pairing/s: childe x traveler!gn!reader
sypnosis: hc on how you and childe spent the day while being in the other's bodies.
includes: mentions of violence, fluff/no-angst
Tumblr media
oh boy. you better start praying that childe won't break any of your bones during the body-swap.
unlike 80% of soulmates around teyvat who would body swap when waking up, you and childe body-swapped in a rather... untimely manner. the both of you were busy fighting opponents when you suddenly find yourselves in another place in another body.
unfortunately, the two of you got a few injuries from being taken back by surprise at the sudden turn of events, but thankfully none of the said injuries were major.
it took childe a moment to realize that the body-swap has happened, with paimon constantly scolding him– or rather physically you– for getting himself hurt, the companion being unaware that her friend is no longer mentally here. he would be lying if he said he wasn't surprised that you're his soulmate, he knew that celestia did a great choice in making one of the people who had defeated him become his soulmate.
you on the other hand, it took a long time for you to process that your soulmate is one of the most dangerous people in the world.
it was the way the fatui agents, skirmishers, and cicin mages suddenly appeared out of nowhere and bow to you instead of fighting you, the two water-like blades that you're currently holding, and your very-familiar attire that made you put the pieces together, making your heart dropped at the fact that childe, the first harbinger you defeated and supposedly sworn-enemy, is your soulmate.
not to mention the fact that you're from another world and currently looking for your sibling– how did this happen? you don't recall your world having the soulmate system at all.
with the crisis you're going through in your head aisde, you just hope that childe isn't causing havoc in inazuma and worry paimon out.
spoiler alert: he's already causing havoc in the chaotic nation of electro.
the moment the harbinger got used to your body and adapted to the environment of inazuma, he immediately sets out in adventuring around inazuma, excitedly trying to find the first opponent he can get his hands on.
fortunately the rest of the opponents and hilichurl camps he came across to were all easily defeated effortlessly–
until he came across to the perpetual mechanical array.
the harbinger admit that he hasn't heard about this opponent, so his first assumption is that it's just like ruin guard (with a more.. cube-like shape). so just when he thought he was close to defeating it, the mechanical array went from one to 5 ruin sentinels.
this is going to be fun, he thought.
it wasn't fun when he overestimated your stamina.
the moment childe walked out of the mechanical array's territory, his first instinct is to treat the wounds he had, disappointed that he got his own soulmate hurt from his battle lust.
thankfully the injuries weren't too severe, but they do hurt a lot than he anticipated when he tried to treat it, often wincing in pain whenever he touched it.
by the time he finished, he thought of a way to apologize to you for injuring your body. what could be a good way to apologize?
"you owe me a lot of food you dimwit, i almost got myself hurt from your recklessness!" paimon exclaims, crossing her arms.
childe then looks up at paimon excitedly. bingo.
meanwhile, you were busy trying to find more intel on the fatui and the tsaritsa.
the moment you went back to liyue harbor, the first thing you want to do is look through the fatui and see their next plan– specifically their next move on getting the electro archon's gnosis.
it was weird to walk through northland bank with some fatui members greeting you, trying to ignore the people who were looking at you with fear instead of the judging looks you'd received when you visited the bank.
"take me to my office." you said to the receptionist– ekaterina, who looked at you in surprised but reluctantly followed your request and took you to childe's office.
much to your disappointment, you didn't find any important intel at all.
all you saw were a bunch of documents, receipts, letters from his family, and everything else that weren't enough for you to know about the fatui's schemes.
you might as well check up on your dear liyuean friends, who you haven't seen for quite a long time since your trip to inazuma.
while you try to find your friends in liyue, childe was busy cooking what could be a grand feast (it's canon in-game that childe is great at cooking).
the harbinger was honestly amused when paimon immediately started praising him the moment he started cooking. the sweet smell of sweet madame, calla lily seafood soup, and other delicious meals going around the camp while making both childe and paimon's stomachs rumble in excitement.
"i take back what i said about you, i approve you for being y/n's soulmate." paimon said the moment she first ate the grilled tiger fish that childe made specially for her.
he lets out a laugh, still slightly taken back by surprise from the sound of your voice coming out from his mouth instead of his. "i hope you keep your word when you meet me, paimon."
whilst childe and paimon enjoyed their meals together, you on the other hand are not having a blast in liyue harbor.
"what are you doing here, harbinger?" keqing spat, her eyes narrowing at you coming towards her with an awkward smile plastered on your face.
"keqing, i'm–"
"save your fake facade for someone else." she interrupts, backing away with every step you take towards her direction. "i'm not as gullible as you think i am."
"keqing, it's me. traveler, y/n." you clarified with a frown, watching as the woman's eyes widens in shocked, stopping herself from taking more steps backwards from you.
"no way, he's your soulmate?!"
you let out a sigh. this is going to be a long day.
as the day goes by, you and childe lost track of time from your activities. while you tried to convince your friends that you've body-swapped with childe, the harbinger tried to control himself in not fighting any more opponents with the state he brought himself in– with the help of paimon (who was rather helpful in stopping him in hurting your body more by slapping him).
it didn't take long before the both of you bodyswapped out of nowhere, with you finding yourself getting slapped by paimon while childe sees xiangling, who was sitting across from him asking about soulmates.
the both of you simply sigh at what the both of you brought each other into, internally planning on visiting each other soon.
