(text) inference | d.s.s-s. exchange event!
Copyright © 2021 by Veles. Do NOT repost, plagiarize, or read my content as ASMR or audiofics.
↪ SUMMARY:
“How did you sleep?” You ask as the two of you head to your second class, walking past other students. “Did you dream of anything? Ooh- did you dream of me? I sure did dream of you.”
Akaashi laughs, amusement glinting in his eyes. “You’re in a flirty mood today, aren’t you?” You can’t help but look at his lips when he talks. Smiling, you keep your gaze on him as you respond.
“Sure am.”
Akaashi is everything you could ever want. His soft voice has you like a puddle of goo on the floor, even though you’ve heard it for most of your life. He’s kind, understanding, and reliable. Everyone loves Akaashi, especially you. You only wish he weren’t so oblivious to your attempts at flirting. When you start to run out of ideas of how-to-indirectly-confess-to-your-best-friend, your own foolishness comes to save you when your failing English grade has you stuck in tutoring sessions. Your tutor? The one and only, Akaashi Keiji.
↪ PAIRING: Akaashi Keiji x gn!reader
↪ TAGS & TW’S: cursing, pining, some angst, childhood best friends to lovers! [Dear Secret Santa-San Writing Event!] [ONE-SHOT]
↪ WORD COUNT: 5.3K! (5358)
A/N: Trying a new posting + writing format! What do you think? This is my first time writing for Akaashi, so I hope it’s okay :’) I’m posting this rn ‘cause I have finals soon so I’ll be dead during that time </3 This fic is a gift to my Secret Santa who I will tag in my reblog as I’m participating in a Secret Santa exchange event! Link will also be in my reblog.
(I hope you enjoy, Secret Santa :) <3)
MONDAY, 8:29 AM.
“Good morning!” You drag out the o as you grin at Akaashi, leaning against the wall. “Aren’t you a sight for sore eyes?”
He scoffs but he’s smiling as he rolls his eyes. “Good morning to you too, Y/N.”

This made my heart go brrr
Hello! I would like to request the christmas headcannon/drabble :]
Xiao - 🍨 - 📎
Albedo - ☃️ - 📎
Diluc - 🛒 - 📎
Scaramouche - 🏷 - 📎
( and if you don't writing for one of the charafters you can use what ever charafter tou want :] thank you)
holiday fluff! genshin x gn!reader
ahhh!!! these are so fun omg- tysm anon!!
ft ~ xiao, albedo, diluc, scaramouche
warnings ~ fluff! sfw :)) questionable writing as it is late at night and i am so so so so tired LMGUROUH
not proof read (because when is it ever proof read)
notes ~ i've never written for scara before so AHEM it might be like really bad LOL, also maybe accidentally made these a bit drabbly, I'M SO SORRY
🍵 see my holiday event prompt list here!
xiao + ice skating
he'd never let you take him to the rink. not once.
xiao would say it was boring and useless, but you had a feeling it wasn't that...
as it edged closer and closer to christmas and the days grew colder, you finally convinced him to take you to an ice skating rink-- somehow
"y/n i've told you before, i'm not taking you to the rink. ice skating is stupid."
"xiao pleaseeee!!! think of it as my christmas present, okay? just go with me!"
his face twitched slightly, you couldn't tell if it was from anger or whether he was trying to smile-
nevertheless, he took you there wordlessly through your giddiness
he laced your boots up for you and took your hand in his, leading you onto the ice
maybe leading was the wrong word
as soon as he stepped onto the slippery surface, his legs shook and threatened to collapse.
you tried so hard not to laugh as you steadied him around his waist
he blushed and looked away, mumbling something along the lines of useless skates, causing you to giggle and pull him along the rink
seasonal music played from the speakers of the arena, you lip-synced and sang along, intentionally trying to embarrass xiao
he cursed at you for it but you'd just skate away, leaving him stranded. his face was absolutely priceless
by the end of the day, he could skate by himself, you felt like a proud teacher
xiao insisted he learnt all by himself himself tho
albedo + snow day
you'd always admired snow, the pale substance was so beautiful and calm, it was one of your favourite things about dragon spine
the other being hanging out with albedo
he'd ask you to help out with his experiments from time to time, always offering a cup of tea and a painting session afterward
today was the same as ever, you were collecting star silver heading back to albedo's campsite
you found yourself staring at the piled-up snow in wrymrest valley, it seemed so light and fluffy, you yearned for the years when you would play in the snow
"y/n? are you okay? i noticed you were out for a little longer than usual."
"oh, albedo! it's nothing really, the snow just looks... peaceful."
albedo hummed, a moment of silence passed between you two before he started walking towards the pile
before you could even blink a ball of icy snow hit you square in the face
the rare sight of a grin could be seen on albedo's face, you'd never seen the playful side of him but you weren't complaining
you joined him in the depths of the snow, giggling together like little kids
the frosty air didn't bother you in the slightest, not when albedo was so warm, not when he was so close to you
in the purest of moments, the joy of the season.
diluc + christmas shopping
diluc was never good at buying gifts, in all honestly he would just give everyone a 'pile 'em up' and hope for the best
this year you practically forced him to go christmas shopping with you, after last years fiasco of gift exchanging you simply couldn't take it anymore
"diluc, giving someone your special dish does not count as a good gift, especially if it's for secret santa."
"but y/n, last year i got kaeya, surely you underst-"
"especially if it's secret santa."
he sighed, as much as he needed help with shopping, it was truly a pain that he drew you for this years secret santa
how were you supposed to help him shop for your own present???
nevertheless, you dragged him out to the market square, excitedly pointing at different items and talking animatedly the entire day
diluc enjoyed listening to you talk, he thought it was the cutest thing when your eyes would glow at the sight of qingxin flowers
you weren't looking, so he purchased a bouquet for you, diluc tapped you on the shoulder, spinning you around to face him
he handed you the flowers and you blushed wildly, surely everyone was staring!!
"diluc! we're shopping for your person, these shouldn't be for me, idiot!"
he only chuckled and pulled you into a tight hug, he'd buy you a bouquet every day if he could :]
scaramouche + exchanging gifts
"y/n how many times do i have to say to be patient, keep it up and i will literally just not give you anything."
"scaraaa!!!! don't be mean! it's christmas, you're not allowed to~"
scaramouche merely rolled his eyes walking off to the christmas tree without you
you hurriedly chased after him, your mind was a bit foggy considering it was early in the morning but you couldn't contain your excitement
you were sure scara would like the present you got him, a golden charm that he could hook onto his uniform
you sat and looked at him expectantly, he gave a deep sigh before telling you to shut your eyes
you did so and felt a cold box drop into your hands, opening your eyes you saw a metal container engraved with small flowers
you smiled at him widely and opened it, a small pendant on a silver chain was tucked inside the box
it was the prettiest thing you'd ever seen, you wrapped scaramouche into a hug, even though your eyes were shut, you could tell that he was flustered
"okay, okay! you can get off me now!"
letting go, you handed him his gift which he opened nonchalantly though he paused at the sight of the charm which worried you, perhaps he thought it was ugly
he breathed out a sigh and for the first time in forever he gave a genuine smile
"thank you, y/n. merry christmas"
more notes ~ COUGH COUGH- WHY DID I- OEJNOGN anyway enjoy this vomit LMAO
send an ask if you wanna be added to my tag list!! ©️please do not repost, copy, translate or heavily ib this post! thank you for understanding :D

ALSO I CANT BELIEVE I FORGOT TO MENTION THIS: THANKS TO @mortedeveles FOR BETA READING!!!!
Maid for Each Other
Pairing: Prince! Kiyoomi Sakusa x fem! Reader
Word count: 1.5k
Warnings: nothing that I can think about, except maybe the fact that y/n works since she was like a kid.
A/N: HI IM BACK FROM MY VERY LONG UNPLANNED HIATUS KINDA!!!! Writing this made me realize how much I miss it so I might open up requests for drabbles and hcs soon
Genre: fluff
Tags: Royal Au, Childhood friends to lovers, semi forbidden love.
Summary: You’ve come to terms with the fact that you and Kiyoomi can never be together. Really, you have. Kiyoomi, on the other hand, is very much determined to make it happen.
Growing up as the daughter of a maid gave you opportunities most common folk like yourself would only dream of having. For example, you got to live in a castle. True, you lived in the much less lavish boarding area where cooks, knights, and other maids lived but walking through the lavish corridors was still something few people could say they’ve done, even if you do it with a mop and a bucket of sudsy water on hand. The best part of it all was that you met Prince Kiyoomi, son of the King and Queen of Itachiyama and he became your closest friend. Even years later, you still look back at the memory of how you met with utmost fondness.
——
You took a bite of your apple, reveling in the satisfying crunch followed by the delicious taste. Today you had some rare recreational time. Despite being merely a child, living at the castle still meant that you had to assist your mother and the other maids. You didn’t mind too much since they always gave you small tasks to do and a much lighter workload, but you were still just a kid, and kids like to jump, play, and run around. By nothing short of a miracle, your mother had let you wander around the east side of the royal garden, saying that as long as you made sure to behave, you were free to do as you pleased.
So here you were, a basket full of leftover juicy apples given to you by the cooks and your favorite book of fairy tales in hand, making your way to a pretty gazebo where you could read your book in peace.
“What are you doing here? This is my spot,” a boy around your age with wavy black hair and two moles right above his right eyebrow asked, clearly more than a bit miffed to find that ‘his spot’ was occupied.
“I can be here if I want to, y’know? It’s not like this place has your name on it or anything, And not that it’s any of your business, but I’m here for some peace and quiet,” you retorted, lowering your book and bringing it closer to your chest. His eyebrows raised in surprise as if he wasn’t used to people talking to him like that, but it seemed as if your answer had him lowering his guard if the way he sat down next to you (after thoroughly wiping the surface of the chair with a handkerchief he carried in his vest pocket) was anything to go by.
“I’m here for some peace and quiet too. My cousin Komori is staying with us for the summer and he’s always loud. It gets kind of annoying sometimes. I’m Kiyoomi,” he told you, offering his hand and you couldn’t help but giggle at his matter-of-fact tone as you shook his hand.
You hadn’t realized who he was at the time, but when you got back to the maid chambers and told your mom all about the weird boy you’d met that day, she almost had a heart attack, thoroughly scolding you for being so crass when interacting with the prince. Despite your ‘crass’ behavior, however, Prince Kiyoomi continued to search you out whenever his cousin -or anyone, really- got on his nerves, bashfully insisting that your company was the one he enjoyed the most.
——
“Absolutely not,” the very same prince announced as soon as Lady Yua, the daughter of a wealthy viscount, and her escorts exited the very same gazebo you’d met the prince in all those years ago.
“Your Grace, the Queen won’t be pleased to hear that you’re rejecting yet another marriage candidate, especially not one as well off as her,” You warned the black-haired prince. He winced at the honorifics, motioning for you to sit down in the now-empty seat across from him.
You hesitated, unsure as to whether or not it would be appropriate for you to act so informally around the handsome prince. Your mother had recently sat you down, explaining that she’d seen the way you looked at Kiyoomi and that it had to cease immediately. Upon seeing the hurt look on your face, she consoled you. Taking you into her arms, she explained that Kiyoomi was a prince, he had been destined for greatness since birth. Clinging to your feelings for the pretty prince would only lead to heartache. A few days later, the King and Queen had announced that since their son had reached eighteen years of age, it was time to begin searching for a wife for him to wed. In hindsight, you had a hunch your mother had heard that the search for a wife for Kiyoomi would start soon, and she was merely trying her best to protect you from a broken heart.
However, Kiyoomi saw your hesitance. He made a big show of motioning to the plate of uneaten apple pie tartlets; the ones he requested despite knowing that Lady Yua disliked them- and they’re your favorite sweet treat. And really, who were you to let such a delicious treat go to waste? Especially when you got to share them with your best friend in a beautiful garden.
As you sat down, your heart fluttered at the thought of how romantic this all was. You were quick to catch yourself, of course; those thoughts were not thoughts fir for a maid to have for her prince.
“She can throw a fit for all I care. I have no intentions of marrying Lady Yua, or any other woman she picks for me for that matter,” Kiyoomi stated.
You froze mid-bite at his words, “Any other woman? Does that mean Omi Omi’s already got a girl picked out for himself?” You teased, trying to hide the way your heart clenched painfully with some of your usual banter.
“Chew your food before you talk, dummy, you’re not a child anymore,” He said, trying to act disgruntled by your immaturity. Kiyoomi’s face turned an endearing shade of pink as he fought the smile trying to worm its way into his face. With an unexpectedly intense look that made you swear he could see into your very soul, he added, “And you of all people should know who it is I’ve picked.”
You choked on your apple pie tartlets before you could question him on just what he meant, knight Tsukasa- you think that’s the name Kiyoomi told you- walked up to the gazebo and informed Kiyoomi that the Queen wished to speak with him. With a ‘good luck’, you saw Kiyoomi off as you wondered who could’ve possibly stolen your prince’s heart.
——
Kiyoomi stood in front of his parents, fully prepared for yet another scolding from them. They could go on for hours, for all he cared. He wouldn’t budge no matter what and that was final. He refused to marry anyone other than you and no amount of parental guilt-tripping would change his mind. Besides, he didn’t see why it mattered so much if he married someone of royal blood. He was third in line after his brother and sister, so odds are he’d never get the crown. Not that he cared.
“Son, I don’t understand why you’re being so difficult! How is it possible that none of the eligible young ladies met your standards? It’s completely preposterous, that’s what it is,” his mother ranted as his father nodded along, albeit rather half-heartedly. “At this point, anyone will do as long as you just choose already. How do you think it makes us look when you reject one girl after another, all from powerful families?! I’d take a commoner over this humiliation.”
Kiyoomi’s head snapped up at her words, looking at both his parents for confirmation. “Do you mean that? Anyone will do it? Even if she’s a commoner?” He couldn’t hide his excitement even if he tried and the King and Queen’s surprise at their youngest son’s rare outburst was almost palpable.
“It’s that maid girl, isn’t it?” His father asked, sharing a look with his wife. With a sigh, he added, “Very well then. If she’s the only one you’ll have, then so be it. However, I fully expect for her to be taught proper etiquette before you even think of having her walk down the aisle.”
Kiyoomi respectfully bowed to his parents before quickly making his way out of the throne room, all but dashing to the gazebo where he hoped you’d still be, heart, beating hard against his rib cage. He didn’t have a ring quite yet, however, he had a hunch you’d say yes anyway- if it came to it, he’d give you all the apples in the kingdom.

disinfection
sakusa kiyoomi x gn!reader
domestic fluff, description of blood and small wounds.
578ish words
"Ow-! Could you be any rougher!?" You grumble, wincing from the pain. Sakusa sighs, glancing at you before continuing to dab at the bleeding wound on your knee.
"Hush. I'm trying to disinfect your cut."
You bite down a whimper of pain as he presses the towel damp with sterilized alcohol against the wound, pain shooting up your leg. God, you hated having wounds like these. Disinfecting them was the absolute worst, but if you didn't disinfect them, it'd only get worse.
Sakusa is quiet as he finishes disinfecting the wound, reaching for a bandage from the medkit. You notice the way his arms flex, his long eyelashes fluttering when he blinks. If you weren't dating him you'd be jealous of his eyelashes (you are dating him and you're still jealous.) You stare at his relaxed yet sharp gaze and the mole above one of his eyebrows. His black hair is soft, begging to be touched.
"How did you get hurt?" His voice is surprisingly soft, and his movements are soft and gentle too. You sigh, shifting your gaze to the bathroom's white wall. It's too embarrassing to admit and you'd rather keep it to yourself.
"Y/N. How did you get hurt?" Sakusa is a stubborn man. You roll your eyes and sigh, looking at the floor as you grumble, "I tripped."
He furrows his brows, confused. "Tripped...how?"
"I tripped running after a stray cat because I really wanted to pet it," you rush out the words, eyes lowered as you frown. Sakusa is quiet for a few moments before he bursts out laughing.
"What?" You groan, mostly trying to cover up your embarrassment. He'll never let you live this down.
"I can't believe you tripped trying to pet a stray cat," he snickers and you harrumph.
"Don't make fun of me! It was a very cute cat."
Sakusa continues snickering until his snickers turn into full-blown laughs but it's hard to stay mad at him. Instead, you smile as you watch him laugh. It's not that often he laughs; so when he does laugh, you think it's a blessing brought down from the heavens for you to revel in. His eyes crinkle at the edges, his lips part widely, and sometimes he even snorts unintentionally which leads to him being silent in a corner for twenty minutes or so, basking in embarrassment. You don't understand why; you find it endearing.
"Well, if it was that cute, why don't we adopt a cat? So you won't go chasing and tripping over every stray cat you see." There's an easy-going grin on his face but your heart skips a beat. Pets are a topic you've discussed often with Sakusa which ends up with him always shutting you down. Pets bring in dirt and filth- more stuff to clean, he says. So eventually you dropped it. But your eyes are wide as you lean forward, heart racing.
"You mean it?"
Sakusa snickers at your excitement and nods. "If it gets you to stop tripping and getting injured, then I'm okay with having a cat."
Nothing holds you back as you cheer victoriously, launching yourself into his arms. Sakusa gasps with surprise, laughing as he barely holds you up before the two of you end up laying on the bathroom floor.
"Careful. You've still got an injured knee," he reminds you, and you huff as you brush hair strands out of his face before leaning forward.
"Shut up and let me kiss you."
a/n: this was v sweet to write hehe i hope you enjoy patt <3

Tysm for the tag veles!!
I got you're charming, generous and wise.
you always seem to know what to say. people admire the ease with which you seem to navigate your life. maybe a few jealous ones even despise you for it. but your strength is your independency. whether the entire world is falling at your feet or not, you don't let your ability to learn and move forward be affected by them. it's admirable how much wisdom you give away for free, how nice and charming you remain even if others refuse to treat you the same and how you navigate life. i hope you know how much you're looked up to. and i also hope that you have someone to lean onto at times. however strong you might be, you weren't made to carry the weight of it all on your own.
I’m tagging @nightshade-shot @axther and @tspice283
I made a uquiz! What are your best qualities? Because I refuse to accept your “I have none” reblogs on this post.
