anyway, i know it’s really easy to feel very doom and gloom right now and that’s fine, but if you’re looking for something to do about it, i strongly encourage everyone to seek out and get involved in their community’s mutual aid organizations! they’re a wealth of information, they organize events, they keep community pantries stocked and running. and now more than ever they need manpower. so help your neighbors, get to know them, see if there’s a community garden you can join. tell your friends.

i’m sure these are things you’ve been hearing recently, but it does help with the feeling of helplessness.
