Man as someone who likely has to get a car at some point in the future and was considering burning a CD for the long-ish car rides that I gotta do regularly for school on the car that I borrow (which does have CD player thank goodness)

It really bums me out that you can't really find any new cars on the market that still have CD players. That alone really conceptually ages me that new cars nowdays just don't have them.

I can't believe I'm watching the CD go the way of the tape deck in my lifetime.

#I don't like the idea of having to bluetooth connect to everything #like on one hand It's not a weird “oh no technology bad it's witchcraft” situation moreso that I just would rather use CD #like it's a bit of a pain to pair them and then there's no unpairing them #not to mention all the weird spyware they put into smartcars these days #it's rough since I'm getting pressured into getting something newer ie a smart car rather than somethin older #and since they discontinued putting those into cars after 2021 anything newer means no CD players without having to jump some real hoops #especially since the smart car menus for playing bluetooth audio also all suck ass and are too unwieldy #Like the music I wanna listen to is on my computer!!! not my phone!!!#and some of that shit's Behind video game vaults!! sometimes you cannot simply by the music on your phone!!!!#I don't want to have to jump through five different hoops when you could just put what you want on a CD and play it
