I'm so happy to finally share this handsome boy's redesign ˖✧˖ to think the first sketch I did of this picture is almost precisely four months old!

I was so nervous about this because I find his design from the show absolutely beautiful and I tend to lack creativity as far as clothes and accessories go... but @kuromori4's and @fandomofone's reactions were absolutely encouraging and the three of us worked together to get to this final version (still mourning sleeveless Catwalker lol), so this is really a product of our collective love for this story ✧

I really won't thank the @mlbigbang2024 moderators and the cosmic alignment that brought us together enough. Please go read this incredible story and fall in love with Catwalker as I did!

So @tallochar and I made the post-BFTC Dick and Tim argument better/worse.

Here’s a hypothetical. What if… JPV was alive, and HE believed Tim and joined Tim on the search for Bruce.

Just think. Think how mad Dick would be. His dad is dead, and he’s stuck holding Gotham together and being Batman, with only Damian for backup, and having to look after Damian, and Barbara’s STILL annoyed at him and not talking to him much (and is busy telling Dick that Steph’s changed, when Steph clearly has not changed! Last thing he heard Steph did was get Tim blown up! And Babs is being so petty about this, she’s telling him Steph has changed but won’t let Damian near ANY of her things), and now Tim’s disappeared off the face of the earth, accompanied only by Jean-Paul Valley (and maybe Cass).

Dick’s fine. He’s so fine. He doesn’t need back-up, he can do this himself, but what has made Tim (the person he was hoping to rely upon for help, why did Tim so want Dick to be Batman anyway if Tim wasn’t even going to stick around to help out) go off with Jean-Paul Valley. Tim doesn’t even like Valley. Dick doesn’t hold grudges, and sure Valley’s reformed but he’s also at risk of losing it and listening to the voice of St Dumas at any time. I mean. He strangled Tim. And killed people. And Tim’s always been wary of him ever since, even Bruce didn’t force Tim and Jean-Paul to work together after all that.

Dick’s really just looking out for Tim here. And Tim’s clearly not thinking straight. After all. Jean-Paul Valley?

(Alternately use Michael Lane or another Azrael, but really it’s funnier if we run it as ‘JPV reappeared during Battle for the Cowl’)

Pour aller à la gare du midi à Bruxelles j'ai dû prendre un bus pire expérience de toute ma vie déjà 7h du matin j'attends mon bus il arrive donc je me lève et je fais signe au chauffeur le mec me regarde et il ne s'arrête pas ??? Du coup je commence à râler et lever les bras en mode t'es con ou t'es fini à la pisse et il s'arrête un peu plus loin mais le mec a le toupet de souffler ??? Mais wsh fais ton travail et une fois dans le bus les arrêts suivants ne sont pas annoncés donc faut descendre au hasard et prier pour avoir le bon arrêt plus jamais je ne recommence les bus en Belgique

can I share something that might be an unpopular opinion? is this a safe space?

so obvs The Lawsuit™️ gets talked about all the time. and while I understand Buck’s thinking… do I necessarily agree a whole lawsuit was the way to go? depends on the day. but! what I wanna know that I don’t see a ton of discourse about, is do we think Buck forgave Bobby too quickly with the treatment he gave post-lawsuit (and the treatment that led to the lawsuit in the first place tbh)?

the whole reason the lawsuit happened is because of what Buck essentially considered as Bobby’s betrayal. we know about the Divorce Era with Eddie that happened BECAUSE OF the lawsuit, we know Hen was the only one to properly welcome Buck back with a cupcake and not really hold the lawsuit against him, but we also know Bobby was still kind of a d!ck and influenced the behaviors of the rest of the 118 after the lawsuit.

we really just see Buck at the hospital after getting checked out because he cut his arm saving those people on Halloween, and Bobby showing up and being like, ‘hm, maybe you are ready to come back’ and Buck is like ‘wanna get breakfast’ 🤨

am I the only one that kind of wishes Buck like. acknowledged Bobby’s behavior? like I get he was just so grateful to have it all over, to be back to properly working etc. but NOTHING?! I mean maybe he felt so bad about the lawsuit he didn’t care? Idk someone talk this out with me
