Hi!
I followed your blog for a bit.
I wanted to ask how do you feel about the overseas show version that they are apparently working on?
Sorry for spelling mistakes I am using a translator.
Hello! 👋 And no worries, your spelling is great. ^^
I think you mean the Amazon live action show that's stuck in development hell? The last update we received on it was on the series' eighth anniversary in 2024 from the yakuneba_staff twitter.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My default stance on live action remakes is they're soulless and uninspired cash grabs more often than not, and I hate the sentiment some people carry about them inherently being superior to animation because they're more "realistic."
With TPN specifically, there's also the issue of the Grace Field children's ages. The 2020 live action movie aged the main cast up.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(@TPNManga Tweet | Archived Article)
I imagine an American production would do this as well, and with those raised ages I feel like they're more inclined to lean into ships and handle them poorly, though that's more of a personal gripe.
Another specific thing with TPN is the popular consensus that the series declined considerably in quality after the escape arc. There hasn't been any word of a sequel movie to the 2020 live action one, and there's no incentive for a studio to make it since they already adapted the most beloved and iconic arc that sells the most. No one's interested in bringing Goldy Pond or the Seven Walls to life, and I doubt they'd be afforded the budget to actually do them justice, so that's probably a blessing.
[Continued in this ask.]

Hiii! I just want to say it's always so fun seeing the way your writing brings these AUs to life! Seeing all those things about Bluestreak got me thinking and I just wanted to share this:
There is the angst potential with Bluestreak going through the portal to blow it up, but what if he did survive? Only, because he had to blow up the portal to destroy or cut off a bio weapon, he’s definitely NOT okay. Too much exposure (even in his mecha) had dangerous consequences for him. What if it was a toxic gas that should overwhelm the brain (like forcing it to be more susceptible to overstimulation), but maybe a specific upgrade he got (something he never told Prowl?? Because Blue wanted to keep up with his brother??) resulted in the toxin acting differently in Bluestreak’s mind. He can observe and understand so much information now, it’s basically like being a support class mecha and striker in one. Maybe he didn’t even notice a difference initially, and just assumed he was able to strategize so effectively because of adrenaline. (Though it might’ve been the adrenaline that allowed him to adapt so quickly to the changes in his brain, what with fight or flight instincts.) And it’s not like he’d have a chance to leave his mecha yet to see if he was okay, since he’d be somewhere in space once the portal’s destroyed.
He’d probably think he’d make his final stand once the portal blew up. Except maybe a certain pair of twins (*cough* Sunstreaker & Sideswipe *cough*) enters the fray and sees this lone mech standing his own against a horde of Quintessons. Crazy battle ensues, and we’re left with two impressed (and a bit confused) Autobots and one baffled human.
And a final point: what if after this whole incident the Quintessons unknowingly recreated the unique battle computer within an organic (though modded) brain? Except the only thing that lets his brain work this way, and allows Bluestreak to still live, is his mecha. Unlike Prowl who wants to stay in his mecha because it heightens his senses, Bluestreak needs his because it’s the only thing stopping him from literally frying his brain. With all its equipment, it’s actually feasible for Blue to parse and uinderstand the loads of information he’s perceiving. It’d be a very stressful time when he first finds this out. Maybe he does join Sunny and Sides (perhaps he was recruited by a commanding officer or something), and later when they learn about him being organic, they all witness just how not okay he is. It could start as a seemingly harmless headache, then a throbbing migraine, and now its so hot, his head’s on fire and why can’t he just go home where Prowl knows what to do and how to help….
And the implications it would have if they realize the potential Bluestreak’s brain now holds. Would they want to let him be used by Cybertronians? How would they keep him away from the Quintessons? Would the Quintessons ever realize there’s now two options for regaining the battle computer? How messed up would it be if Bluestreak and Prowl were reunited in a Quintesson lab….
That would be very interesting to make a mecha into an entire life support system. Pretty cool concept in general.
The twins playing Let’s Hide The Alien Super Computer except the Computer is a medically fucked up little guy who can’t stop talking.
And to answer that last question: Very. It would be very messed up. More so if Jazz and the twins go looking for each of their respective humans and find the wrong ones.

Thank you for responding so quickly! So, what if Socrates!reader got so speechless was because someone brought up something deeply unsettling/even traumatic as a way to gain the upperhand in a debate, I imagine anaxa would react pretty badly lol
i spent an incredibly long time thinking about this ask… and the answer is pretty darn long, too. for those interested, below is first an explanation of my thought process about how to get the reader speechless and traumatised, and then how i think it might actually happen:
My thought process:
My first thought to answering this question was, how do you go about hurting somebody? Initially, what came to mind was by getting at something they’re trying to hide — generally speaking, the more you hide, the more you’re vulnerable when it’s exposed (think of, like, Blanche from Streetcar, if you’ve read/ seen the play)
Now, this approach was hard because reader doesn’t really attempt to hide things; they’re very open about their thoughts, experiences, etc, so any ‘exposure’ of some potentially harmful thing they’re trying to hide won’t work because they’ll most likely have been upfront about it from the get go, or at least not afraid to admit to it when the information came out
The reader is also very unruffled as an individual — you can try to get at them with insults or even bringing up a painful memory, but it’s like water sliding off a duck (yes, that is a reference). What I mean is that they’re also very good at bounding back/ moving past emotionally taxing events, so going back and pointing out any potentially traumatic memory won’t do much; again, even if they are still affected by the event (I’m definitely not saying here that they’re impervious to painful events; that’s definitely not the case), they’ve made at least enough peace with it for it not to bother them too much
So, when that approach failed, I thought — another way to get at it is to get at something they care about
After a while, I came to the conclusion that they value authenticity very deeply (possibly without realising it, because it comes so naturally to them that they mistakenly tend to assume it applies to others as well) both within intellectual discourse but also within people; authenticity above all else
If you’re an awful person but open about it, they’ll still treat you with courtesy when speaking with you; they’d much prefer that honesty to somebody who isn’t as bad, but pretends to be much nicer than they are while being a snake once their back is turned
Whereas arguments are very clear — their conclusions, reasoning, motives can’t lie or be deceptive in the same way a person can, even if the argument can be fallacious or flawed
Unfortunately for the reader, they’re brilliant when it comes to logic and argumentation, but not so much when it comes to the real actions and motivations of real people, which are not always so clear-cut and can’t be taken away in the same way an argument is; they’d never really suspect, for example, that they’re being deceived or manipulated in a conversation
THIS aspect of them — their well-intentioned, willing nature to engage with other people and their assumption that people will be as open as they are when talking — is where they're most vulnerable. So this is where we attack :D
ALSO. Because they deeply care about their pursuit of knowledge and the sharing of learning with others, I do think they’d be deeply affected if somebody was hurt/ endangered/ something bad happened to them because of something they said; e.g. imagine a group of bright-eyed young students who really look up to them and love talking with them getting killed in the black tide or some other situation because they went off to pursue some hypothesis the reader suggested may be true;
Reader still has the clarity of mind to appreciate that it’s not their complete fault — they couldn’t have known this would happen — but they would still take the responsibility very seriously on themselves for leading these innocent, curious people astray
ALSO. If something of this sort did happen, it would be very good grounds to use for those who want reader gone (be that imprisoned or put to death)
So. Now that we’ve got all that sorted, here’s how you actually go about traumatising them.
(This next scenario might require a bit of suspension of disbelief, but I think it’d be a very effective way of leaving them speechless and traumatised:)
Let’s say, for argument’s sake, that you have a small group within the Grove who hate — HATE, loathe with every essence of their being — the reader. Like, they’re vindictive, and hateful, and horrible, no morals, and want little more than to see reader’s life crash and burn, and so they go about instrumenting a plan to do just this
They’d approach the reader with faux friendliness and eagerness to converse with them (essentially taking advantage of their relative inability to suspect anything is off) — and the reader, ever willing to talk to anybody who’s interested (in fact, particularly willing in this instance, because usually it’s them initiating the discussion; so if somebody ELSE starts the discussion? They’ll be super pleased), will gladly entertain them
Over time — depending on how horrible these haters are, a few weeks, months, maybe even years (although that feels like a stretch) — the reader begins to form what they believe is a genuine, deep connection with these people, who have a similar eagerness to learn and uncover knowledge as they do, and they start trusting them as close friends (little do they know, it’s all pretence)
Then, finally, the haters decide to make their move and expose the game, probably publicly, to take them down — e.g., one day their steer the conversation in such a way that they almost… trap the reader, somehow? Like, they can’t get out of it (not sure exactly how they’d manage or the specifics of the conversation/ trap, but let’s assume they succeed); and then reveal that they never cared for the discussions or any of it
And while reader is reeling from the betrayal, bring up the fact that that earlier group of students wound up dead/ whatever because of them (this info was probably kept relatively private at the time as not to cause panic among the students, and if it’s linked to the black tide, no doubt it was worrying and required further investigation and care beyond just what happened to the students — although these haters would leave out those details), using this and their general (mis)conduct as reason to get them at least thrown out and locked up, if not sentenced to drinking hemlock
Reader, although shocked and hurt, wouldn’t defend themselves against these charges; there’s no doubt they could — they certainly have the ability to, and probably sufficient evidence too — but they take their responsibilities seriously, particularly when it comes to the ideas they share with others
So, even though they know it’s not entirely their fault what happened, they’d accept the sentence and whatever people decide to do with them without struggling or kicking up a fuss: if this is the way it must be, they’ll go quietly, without potentially drawing anybody else into harm’s way.
And Anaxa… he would be FURIOUS. Actually fuming. I don’t think anyone would have ever seen him as uncollected and genuinely angry as that before, and probably ever again. There’d be rumours and gossip still spreading about what it was like two decades later. In any case, his conduct would be… very uncharacteristic for him, for a few reasons:
(1) The fact that this happened right under his nose by students audacious enough to pull it off, and he didn’t catch on or prevent it (even better/ worse if they’re HIS students)
(2) The fact of the matter itself; that an injustice (personal, legal and intellectual all at once) has been done to somebody undeserving of it (no doubt the reader would press him on what precisely he meant by that, but unfortunately, they’re not here to raise the point…)
(3) Finally, the fact that it happened to the reader makes all of the above even worse, because now it’s personal. I actually think this would be a kind of wake-up moment where Anaxa realises just how much they mean to him/ how much he actually cares about them in their absence
In the moment as it all unfolded, he wouldn’t have enough evidence to get them out of it, although he’d certainly try his best to make a case for their innocence; because let’s be honest here, is this unequal system (whatever system it is… I’m imagining some democratic voting thing similar to what they have in Okhema but related specifically to affairs of the Grove, with some connections to Okhema for bigger problems — e.g. giving them a death sentence) really going to take the objection of Anaxa, who although being a professor, is known as a blasphemer and has public opinion stacked against him?
(I also think that, while making his case, he’d still be relatively level-headed, although increasingly less so and you could definitely tell there was something boiling up under the surface; after the crowds and the reader were gone, that’s when he’d go a bit crazy.)
He’d spend the next few days furiously putting together a case for your immediate release and compensation; and in the case that didn’t work, he’d start plotting an alternative plan to get you out of your situation — whether that be bribery, a prison breakage with the help of some of your other supporters, or something else, he’d stop at near nothing until you were back safely and unharmed (and preferably by his side, too). We know Anaxa is the type to go the full length when he’s dedicated to something — he’s sacrificed his body time and time again in his pursuit for truth — and he’d sure as hell sacrifice some more to make sure you get out of this.
(Realised that I started using ‘you’ as opposed to ‘they’ to refer to the reader near the end… oop.)

author: @bratzkoo pairings: jimin x reader, taehyung x reader genre: fluff, angst rating: PG-15 words: 5.1k~ warnings: taehyung and jimin jumping ropes between red and green flag. jungkook in general. summary: with the question of “who will you pick, the one you love or the one who loves you?” you navigate adulthood while chasing and being chased. you love taehyung and jimin loves you. taglist: - masterlist
Three weeks after the exhibition, Y/N's photographs remained on display at Harbor Gallery—now with small red "SOLD" stickers beside two of them. The validation was sweet, but the real triumph was the small studio space above Yoongi's music shop that she'd secured with her first sales.
Today, she stood in the center of the empty room, watching dust particles dance in the light streaming through the large windows. The hardwood floors needed refinishing and the walls desperately needed paint, but the natural light was perfect. This was hers—the first real space that belonged entirely to her vision.
"So? What's the verdict?" Yoongi leaned against the doorframe, his characteristic calm a contrast to her barely contained excitement.
"It's perfect," Y/N said, turning a slow circle. "The northern exposure is exactly what I need."
Yoongi nodded, satisfied. "Figured you'd appreciate that. Taehyung said you always talked about ideal studio lighting back in school."
Y/N blinked, surprised. "He remembered that?"
"Tae remembers everything. He just doesn't always show it." Yoongi handed her the keys. "Rent's due first of the month. I'll send someone to fix that leak in the corner before you move your equipment in."
As Yoongi headed back downstairs, Y/N's phone buzzed with a text from Taehyung: Studio hunting successful?
She smiled, typing back: Perfect light. Perfect space. When are you free to see it?
The response came quickly: Tonight? Finishing at the studio late. 9PM?
Y/N hesitated. Such a late meeting felt different—more intimate somehow. Sure. I'll bring celebratory drinks.
---
By 8:45 that evening, Y/N had swept the floors, wiped down the windows, and set up a makeshift seating area with cushions borrowed from Jimin's apartment. A bottle of wine and two glasses sat on a wooden crate that would eventually become part of a storage system. She'd changed outfits twice before settling on simple jeans and a soft blue sweater—casual but flattering.
She was fussing with the arrangement of cushions when she heard footsteps on the stairs.
"Y/N?" Taehyung's voice called.
"Come in!" She straightened up, suddenly nervous.
Taehyung appeared in the doorway, holding a small potted plant with delicate white flowers. "Studio-warming gift," he explained, setting it on the windowsill. "Snake plant. Impossible to kill, even for people who forget to water things when they're in creative mode."
The thoughtfulness of the gesture caught her off guard. "You know me too well."
"I used to." He looked around the space, then back at her. "I'm hoping to again."
Something in his direct gaze made her stomach flip. Y/N turned to open the wine, giving herself a moment to compose her thoughts. "How was the studio session?"
"Productive. Finally got the bridge right on that piece I played for you." He wandered around the room, running his hand along the wall. "This space has good energy. You can feel its potential."
Y/N handed him a glass of wine. "That's exactly what I thought. It needs work, but..."
"It's like a blank canvas," he finished. "Ready for your imprint."
They clinked glasses and sipped in comfortable silence. Taehyung moved to the windows, looking out at the town's twinkling lights below.
"I missed this view," he said quietly. "In Seoul, everything was so high up and distant. Here, you can see real life happening."
Y/N joined him at the window. "You could have stayed there, though. Made a career in the city."
He turned to her, his expression unreadable in the dim light. "Some things were worth coming back for."
The air between them seemed to thicken. Y/N was acutely aware of how close they were standing, how easy it would be to lean forward just slightly.
Taehyung's phone buzzed, breaking the moment. He glanced at it and sighed. "Producer wants revisions by morning."
"You should go," she said, disappointed but understanding.
"I should," he agreed, not moving. Instead, he reached out and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, his fingers lingering against her cheek. "But I don't want to."
Her heart hammered against her ribs. "Tae..."
The sound of his name seemed to decide something for him. He leaned in slowly, giving her every chance to pull away, before pressing his lips to hers in a gentle kiss that quickly deepened as Y/N responded. His hands cupped her face, and hers found their way to his waist, pulling him closer.
When they finally separated, both slightly breathless, Taehyung rested his forehead against hers. "I've been wanting to do that since you came back," he admitted.
"Me too," she whispered.
His phone buzzed again, insistent. Taehyung closed his eyes in frustration before reluctantly pulling away. "I really do have to go. Deadline."
Y/N nodded, still dizzy from the kiss. "I understand."
He gathered his jacket, pausing at the door. "Dinner tomorrow? My place? No work interruptions this time."
"I'd like that," she said, smiling.
After he left, Y/N sat by the window for a long time, touching her lips and watching the town below, her mind replaying the kiss while her heart raced with possibilities.
---
"You're distracted today," Jimin observed the next morning as they shared breakfast at the café. "Something happen with the studio?"
Y/N stirred her coffee, debating how much to share. "Taehyung came by to see it last night."
"Ah." Jimin's expression remained carefully neutral. "And?"
"And... we kissed." The words came out in a rush.
Jimin's spoon paused halfway to his mouth, then continued as if nothing had happened. "I see." He took a deliberate bite of oatmeal. "Are you... happy about that?"
The question was so fundamentally Jimin—concerned with her feelings before anything else—that Y/N felt a surge of affection for him. "I think so. I mean, yes. It's what I wanted."
Jimin nodded slowly. "Then I'm happy for you." His smile didn't quite reach his eyes.
"Jimin..." Y/N started, unsure what she wanted to say.
"It's okay," he interrupted gently. "Really. You and Tae... there's always been something there. Everyone knows that."
An uncomfortable silence fell between them. Y/N searched for words to bridge the gap she could feel forming. "You're still my best friend. That doesn't change."
"Of course not." Jimin looked up with a more genuine smile this time. "Nothing changes that." He glanced at his watch. "I should get to work. Big event planning meeting."
As he stood to leave, Y/N caught his hand. "Are we okay?"
Jimin squeezed her fingers reassuringly. "Always. Just... be careful with your heart, Y/N. Taehyung lives in the moment. It's what makes him brilliant, but..."
"But also what makes him Taehyung," she finished quietly.
Jimin nodded. "Exactly." He released her hand. "Call if you need anything. Anytime."
Y/N watched him walk away, feeling a complex tangle of emotions—happiness about Taehyung warring with concern about shifting dynamics with Jimin. For the first time, she wondered if returning home had been simpler in theory than practice.
---
The following weeks unfolded in a whirlwind of activity. Y/N's days were filled with setting up her studio space, meeting with potential clients, and developing a new photography series inspired by her homecoming. Her evenings increasingly belonged to Taehyung—cooking dinner at his apartment, listening to his latest compositions, losing track of time in conversations that flowed effortlessly until the early hours.
Being with Taehyung was intoxicating—his passion for creation matched her own, his perspective challenged her thinking, and their physical chemistry was undeniable. Yet there remained something ephemeral about their connection, as if she was trying to capture smoke between her fingers.
Some nights he would disappear into his creative process, unreachable by text or call, only to emerge days later with brilliant work and no acknowledgment of his absence. Y/N found herself making excuses for these disappearances—that's just how artists work, she told herself. That's the price of loving someone with a mind like his.
Loving. The word had slipped into her thoughts before she could examine it properly.
Meanwhile, her friendship with Jimin had acquired a careful quality—both of them navigating new boundaries. He remained constant in his support, helping her hang shelves in the studio, connecting her with his extensive network of contacts, always answering her calls no matter the hour. But something had shifted—a guardedness in his smile, a careful distance he maintained even in their closest moments.
When the invitation came for the regional photography competition, it was Jimin who brought her the information, neatly printed and paperclipped to relevant submission deadlines.
"You should enter," he said, setting the papers on her desk as she edited client photos. "The exposure would be good for building your local portfolio."
Y/N scrolled through the details. "The theme is 'Perspective Shifts.' That's... actually perfect for the series I'm working on."
"I thought so too." Jimin leaned against her desk, careful not to disturb her organized chaos. "The judging panel includes some important regional names. Plus, the winner gets featured in East Coast Arts Monthly."
Y/N looked up at him, touched by his continued investment in her career. "Have you told Taehyung about this?"
A shadow crossed Jimin's face. "I haven't seen him this week. He's been in Seoul, hasn't he?"
Y/N tried to mask her surprise. "Seoul? He told me he was on a studio lockdown for a deadline."
An awkward silence fell between them. Jimin shifted uncomfortably. "Maybe I got it wrong. Yoongi mentioned something about a meeting with producers, I assumed..."
"No, it's fine," Y/N said quickly, embarrassment heating her cheeks. "We don't check in daily or anything."
Jimin studied her for a moment before speaking again. "Y/N—"
"I should get these competition entries started," she interrupted, not ready for whatever he was about to say. "Thank you for bringing this. Really."
Understanding flashed in Jimin's eyes. "Of course." He pushed off from the desk. "I'll let you work. Dinner tomorrow? The new Thai place opened."
Y/N smiled gratefully. "That sounds perfect."
After he left, she stared at the competition details without really seeing them, unsettled by the realization that Taehyung hadn't been entirely truthful about his whereabouts. It wasn't that they'd made explicit commitments to each other, but the casual omission felt significant.
Her phone chimed with a text from Taehyung: Back tomorrow. Miss you. Your place or mine?
She hesitated before responding: Mine. 7PM.
---
When Taehyung arrived the next evening, he carried takeout from her favorite restaurant and a small bag that turned out to contain a vintage camera lens he'd found at a Seoul flea market. The thoughtful gesture momentarily pushed aside her questions.
"This is incredible," she said, examining the lens. "How did you know I've been looking for this model?"
He smiled, pleased with himself. "You mentioned it that night we looked through your photography books. Said it created a particular quality of soft focus you couldn't replicate digitally."
The fact that he remembered such a specific detail from a casual conversation made her resolve waver. As they ate dinner, Taehyung enthusiastically described the producers he'd met with and the potential collaboration that could elevate his music to national recognition.
"So you were in Seoul," Y/N said finally, keeping her tone neutral.
Taehyung paused mid-sentence. "Yes. Didn't I tell you?"
"You said you were in studio lockdown."
"I was—their studio in Seoul." He frowned slightly. "Is something wrong?"
Y/N set down her fork. "Why not just say you were going to Seoul?"
Taehyung's expression shifted from confusion to understanding. "I didn't think it mattered. The point was I'd be unavailable, working intensely." He reached across the table for her hand. "I wasn't trying to hide anything, Y/N."
She wanted to believe him. It would be so easy to let it go, to accept his explanation and move forward. But something nagged at her—a sense that this small miscommunication represented something larger.
"I worry sometimes," she admitted, "that we're not fully present in each other's lives. That we're still operating as these independent entities who occasionally intersect, rather than..."
"Rather than what?" Taehyung asked softly.
Y/N met his gaze. "Rather than partners."
Taehyung was quiet for a long moment. "I've never been good at the conventional relationship things," he finally said. "Checking in, reporting my whereabouts. My mind doesn't work that way."
"I'm not asking for conventional," Y/N countered. "Just... consideration. Inclusion in your decisions when they affect us."
"Are we an 'us'?" His question wasn't challenging but genuinely curious.
The question hung between them, forcing Y/N to confront what she actually wanted. "I'd like to be," she said finally. "But only if you want that too."
Taehyung's eyes softened. He stood, pulling her up from her chair and into his arms. "I want you in my life, Y/N. However that looks." He kissed her forehead. "I'm not good at this, but I'll try. For you, I'll try."
She rested her head against his chest, listening to his heartbeat and trying to quiet the small voice that wondered if trying would be enough.
---
The photography competition submission deadline approached rapidly. Y/N threw herself into preparing her entry—a series titled "Return," exploring the familiar-turned-strange quality of viewing childhood places through adult eyes. The work was her most personal yet, revealing vulnerabilities she usually kept hidden behind technical precision.
The night before the submission deadline, her phone rang near midnight. Taehyung's name flashed on the screen.
"Are you still working?" he asked without preamble when she answered.
"Just finishing the artist statement," Y/N said, rubbing her tired eyes.
"I'm outside your studio. Let me in?"
Surprised, Y/N went to the window and saw Taehyung standing on the sidewalk below, phone to his ear. She buzzed him in, and minutes later he appeared with coffee and a small bag from the bakery that had closed hours ago.
"How did you get these?" she asked, accepting the still-warm pastry gratefully.
"Namjoon's cousin owns the place. Called in a favor." Taehyung settled on the floor beside her desk, looking over the prints laid out for her final selection. "These are extraordinary, Y/N."
She sank down next to him, suddenly aware of how exhausted she was. "You think so? I've been staring at them so long I can't tell anymore."
"I know so." He pointed to a particular image—a playground shot through raindrops on a window, creating a dreamlike distortion. "This one especially. It captures something... nostalgic but uncomfortable. Like childhood memories that don't quite match reality."
Y/N leaned against him, touched by his understanding of what she'd been trying to convey. "That's exactly what I was going for."
Taehyung wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "You're going to win, you know."
"There will be hundreds of entries from professionals with years more experience."
"Doesn't matter. Your perspective is unique." He kissed the top of her head. "Now, what can I do to help you finish?"
For the next two hours, Taehyung helped her organize the final submission—reading drafts of her artist statement, giving thoughtful feedback, handling the tedious technical requirements of the digital upload. When everything was finally submitted at 2:30 AM, Y/N felt a weight lift from her shoulders.
"Thank you," she said, curling into him on the small studio couch. "I didn't expect you to show up tonight."
"You mentioned yesterday that the deadline was stressing you out," he replied simply. "I wanted to help."
In that moment, all her doubts seemed ridiculous. This was Taehyung—inconsistent in small ways perhaps, but present when it truly mattered. She fell asleep against his chest, more content than she'd been in weeks.
---
The competition results wouldn't be announced for another month, but life didn't pause in the meantime. Y/N's client list grew as word spread about her work, and she found herself busy with everything from engagement shoots to commercial product photography for local businesses.
Taehyung received the news he'd been hoping for—the Seoul producers wanted to sign him for a project that could launch his music nationally. The opportunity would require extended time in Seoul, starting with a three-week trip to negotiate terms and begin initial recording.
"Come with me," he suggested as they discussed the logistics in her studio one evening. "You could photograph the city. Make connections there."
The invitation was tempting—three uninterrupted weeks with Taehyung, exploring a new city together. But Y/N had just established her studio, had commitments to local clients.
"I can't right now," she said regretfully. "But maybe I could visit for a weekend? Once you're settled?"
Taehyung nodded, trying to hide his disappointment. "Of course. That makes sense."
The night before his departure, they stayed up until dawn, talking about everything and nothing, making plans for video calls and his return visit. When Y/N drove him to the train station, their goodbye kiss held the bittersweet quality of a milestone—their first real separation since reconnecting.
"Three weeks," Taehyung said, forehead pressed against hers. "It'll fly by."
Y/N nodded, not trusting herself to speak. As she watched his train pull away, a complicated mix of emotions settled in her chest—pride in his success, sadness at his absence, and a tiny, unwelcome thread of relief at having some space to think clearly about their whirlwind reconnection.
---
The first week of Taehyung's absence passed in a productive blur. Y/N channeled her emotional energy into work, extending her studio hours and taking on additional clients. Their nightly video calls maintained their connection, though the time difference and Taehyung's busy schedule sometimes reduced these to brief check-ins rather than the deep conversations she craved.
On Friday evening, exhausted from a day of shooting, Y/N was closing her studio when she noticed water seeping under the door. Following the trail, she discovered a burst pipe in the small bathroom, water rapidly pooling on the hardwood floors perilously close to her equipment.
Panic rising, she called Yoongi, who didn't answer, then the building's emergency number, which went to voicemail. Without thinking, she called Jimin.
"I'll be there in ten minutes," he said immediately upon hearing the situation. "Try to move your equipment to higher ground. I'll bring supplies."
True to his word, Jimin arrived quickly, armed with towels, a shop vacuum, and basic plumbing tools. Together they worked to contain the damage—Jimin shutting off the water main while Y/N moved her valuable equipment to safety.
An hour later, the emergency had been mitigated. The pipe was temporarily patched, the water cleaned up, and fans positioned to dry the floors. Y/N collapsed onto her couch, adrenaline giving way to exhaustion.
"Thank you," she said fervently. "I would have been lost without you."
Jimin shrugged, wiping his hands on a towel. "That's what friends are for."
"Friends don't usually know basic plumbing repair," Y/N pointed out.
"YouTube tutorial from when my apartment flooded last year," he admitted with a grin. "Never thought I'd actually use that knowledge."
Y/N laughed, then noticed a cut on his hand. "You're hurt."
"It's nothing," Jimin dismissed, but allowed her to examine it.
"Let me clean this at least," she insisted, retrieving her first aid kit.
As she tended to his cut, a comfortable silence fell between them—the easy companionship they'd always shared, untainted by the recent complications. Y/N realized how much she'd missed this uncomplicated connection.
"Have you heard from Taehyung?" Jimin asked, breaking the silence.
"Brief calls. He's really busy with the producers." Y/N secured a bandage around his hand. "It's a big opportunity."
Jimin nodded. "He's always been meant for bigger stages."
Something in his tone made Y/N look up. "What do you mean?"
Jimin seemed to choose his words carefully. "Taehyung's talent deserves recognition. But his life has always been about pursuing the next opportunity, the next creative high." He met her eyes. "I've just worried what that means for people who want consistency from him."
Y/N felt a defensive response rise in her throat, then subside as she recognized the truth in Jimin's words. "He's trying," she said quietly.
"I know he is." Jimin's expression was gentle. "And I know you love him. I just..." He hesitated. "I want you to be loved the way you deserve."
The weight of unspoken feelings hung in the air between them. Y/N suddenly found it difficult to breathe.
"Jimin—"
"Don't," he interrupted softly. "I shouldn't have said anything. It's not my place."
But something had shifted in the room—a door opened that couldn't be closed again. Y/N found herself moving closer to him, drawn by the certainty of his presence, the steadiness he'd always represented in her life.
"It is your place," she whispered. "You've always had a place in my life, Jimin."
His eyes searched hers, vulnerable and hopeful in a way that made her heart ache. Slowly, giving her every opportunity to pull away, Jimin leaned forward until his lips met hers in a kiss so tender it brought tears to her eyes.
Unlike the passionate whirlwind of her kisses with Taehyung, this was gentle, unhurried—a conversation rather than a declaration. Y/N found herself responding, her hand coming up to cup his cheek.
When they finally separated, Jimin pressed his forehead against hers, eyes closed. "I've wanted to do that for so long," he admitted, voice barely audible.
Reality crashed back, bringing with it a wave of guilt. Y/N pulled away slightly. "Jimin, I'm with Taehyung."
Pain flashed across his features before he nodded. "I know. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have—"
"No," Y/N interrupted. "I'm the one who should be sorry. This isn't fair to you. Or to him."
Jimin stood, creating space between them. "You should call him," he said quietly. "Talk to him."
The practical suggestion, so characteristic of Jimin—putting her needs first even when it hurt him—made Y/N's chest tighten with conflicted emotion.
"I need to figure out what I want," she said honestly.
"I think you already know," Jimin replied with a sad smile. "You've always known." He gathered his tools. "I'll check on the pipe tomorrow. Make sure it's holding."
After he left, Y/N sat in her quiet studio, mind reeling. Her phone showed a missed call from Taehyung and a text: Can't talk tonight. Big breakthrough with the producers. Call tomorrow? Miss you.
She stared at the message, feeling further from certainty than ever before.
---
The regional photography competition judging day arrived amid this emotional turbulence. Y/N had almost forgotten about it until Jimin texted that morning: Good luck today. Your work deserves recognition.
No mention of the kiss, no pressure—just support, as always. Y/N hadn't seen him since that night, both of them creating distance to think. She hadn't told Taehyung about the kiss either, unsure how to navigate the confession over video calls and text messages.
The competition was held at the central library's exhibition hall. Y/N arrived early, nervously checking her appearance before entering the crowded space. Photographs from all entrants lined the walls, grouped by theme interpretation. She found her series displayed prominently in a well-lit corner, which she took as a positive sign.
As she examined the other entries, Y/N was struck by the quality of the competition—powerful images telling compelling stories. Her confidence wavered slightly as she realized how many talented photographers had entered.
"Intimidating, isn't it?" said a familiar voice behind her.
Y/N turned to find Jungkook, the photographer from the Harbor Gallery, examining a dramatic landscape series.
"The talent level is higher than I expected," she admitted.
Jungkook nodded. "Regional competitions often are. The truly ambitious ones skipped straight to national contests, leaving space for thoughtful work rather than technical showboating."
Y/N studied him curiously. She'd seen his byline on the gallery article—a thoughtful piece that had given her work more consideration than she'd expected—but hadn't crossed paths with him since.
"Do you enter these competitions?" she asked.
"Sometimes." He gestured to a striking series of industrial landscapes on the adjacent wall. "When I have something worth saying."
Before Y/N could respond, an announcement called for all entrants to gather for the judges' introduction. She excused herself, joining the nervous crowd of photographers.
The head judge, a renowned photojournalist named Park Seojoon, spoke briefly about the competition's purpose before introducing the judging panel. Y/N's attention sharpened when he mentioned the final judge—a last-minute addition to the panel.
"And finally, we're grateful to have Jeon Jungkook joining us, representing East Coast Arts Monthly and bringing his unique perspective on visual narrative."
Y/N turned in surprise to see Jungkook taking his place at the judges' table. He caught her eye briefly, his expression professional and unreadable.
The judging process would take several hours, with results announced that afternoon. Photographers were encouraged to stay and network, or return later for the announcement.
Y/N decided to remain, using the opportunity to study the competing work and connect with other local artists. Throughout the day, she occasionally noticed Jungkook with the other judges, moving methodically through the exhibition, engaged in serious discussion about various pieces. His demeanor was focused and analytical—clearly taking the responsibility seriously.
By late afternoon, the judges had made their decisions. Park Seojoon took the microphone again, thanking everyone for their patience.
"Photography is subjective," he began. "What moves one person may leave another cold. What we look for is work that challenges perspective, that makes the viewer see differently."
He announced the honorable mentions first, then third place, then second. Y/N's name hadn't been called, and she felt a complicated mix of disappointment and relief. At least she could leave without the awkwardness of accepting an award from a panel that included someone she barely knew.
"And our first place winner," Park Seojoon continued, "for a series that eloquently captures the dissonance between memory and reality, the winner of the Perspective Shift Photography Competition is Y/N, for the series 'Return.'"
The room erupted in applause. Y/N stood frozen in shock before making her way to the front. Park Seojoon handed her an elegant crystal award and an envelope containing details about her feature in East Coast Arts Monthly.
"The judges were particularly moved by your ability to create images that feel simultaneously familiar and unsettling," he explained. "Your work invites viewers to reconsider their relationship with nostalgia."
As Y/N shook hands with each judge, Jungkook's grip was firm and professional. "Congratulations," he said simply, no hint of their earlier conversation in his formal tone.
After the ceremony, as photographers and attendees mingled over refreshments, Y/N found herself approached by various gallery owners and potential clients. The win had immediately raised her profile in the regional arts community.
She was speaking with an arts council representative when her phone vibrated with a call from Taehyung. With a pang of guilt, she realized she hadn't told him about the competition today.
"Excuse me," she said to the representative. "I need to take this."
Finding a quiet corner, she answered, "Taehyung, hi."
"Y/N!" His voice was excited. "I've got incredible news. The producers want to extend the project. They're offering a six-month contract with potential for a permanent position afterward."
"Six months?" Y/N echoed, struggling to process the implications.
"It's what I've been working toward for years," Taehyung continued. "National distribution, creative control, resources to bring my music to life properly."
"That's... amazing, Tae. Congratulations." The words felt hollow in her mouth.
"There's more," he said, either not noticing or ignoring her hesitation. "They have connections with major photography publications here. I mentioned your work, and they're interested. This could be huge for both of us."
The offer hung between them—unspoken but clear. Come to Seoul. Choose this path. Choose me.
"I won a photography competition today," Y/N said abruptly. "Regional one. My work's going to be featured in East Coast Arts Monthly."
"What? Y/N, that's incredible!" Taehyung's genuine enthusiasm made her chest tight. "Why didn't you tell me it was today?"
"You've been busy," she said simply. "And I wasn't sure I'd win."
"But you did," Taehyung said proudly. "I knew you would. We should celebrate when I'm back next week."
"About that..." Y/N took a deep breath. "I think we need to talk, Tae. About us. About the future."
A pause, then his voice, more subdued: "Because of the Seoul opportunity?"
"Because of a lot of things."
Another silence stretched between them. "I understand," Taehyung finally said. "We'll talk when I'm back. Properly."
After they disconnected, Y/N stood motionless, staring at her phone. The competition win, which should have been a moment of pure triumph, now felt complicated by the looming conversation with Taehyung and her unresolved feelings for Jimin.
As she prepared to leave, she noticed Jungkook gathering his belongings at the judges' table.
"Congratulations again," he said as she approached. "Your series was the clear winner."
"Thank you," Y/N replied. "I was surprised to see you on the judging panel."
"Last-minute replacement." He shrugged. "Someone from the magazine had to be here, and I know the local scene."
Y/N nodded, suddenly curious. "Can I ask—what made my series stand out to you, specifically?"
Jungkook considered the question seriously. "Most photographers trying to capture nostalgia focus on making things look better than they were—golden light, soft focus, idealized compositions." He met her gaze directly. "You did the opposite. You showed the discomfort of return—how nothing quite fits anymore, how memory distorts, how growth changes perspective."
The insight struck Y/N deeply. He had articulated something she'd felt but hadn't fully formulated herself.
"Thank you," she said again, with more meaning. "That's... perceptive."
Jungkook gave a small nod. "Someone from the magazine will be in touch about the feature." He hesitated, then added, "If you have questions about the national photography scene, feel free to reach out. I work with publications beyond the regional level."
With that, he excused himself, leaving Y/N with his business card and the strange feeling that the day had shifted something fundamental in her path forward.
Later that evening, alone in her apartment with her award on the coffee table, Y/N's phone lit up with a text from Jimin: Heard about your win from Hoseok. So proud of you. Always knew your vision was special.
She traced her fingers over the words, heart aching with the complexity of her feelings. On her laptop screen, open flight searches to Seoul waited for a decision. The crystal award caught the last light of day, fracturing it into patterns across her walls—beautiful but impossible to hold onto.

Tell Me How Long, A Modern Merfolk Mystery | Ebook Preorder Launch
Tumblr media
What do you get when you combine generational nihilism, Blackfish, and Jurassic Park? A sordid tale criticizing the apathy toward environmentalism, and a case study into the commodification of the natural world.
I have a new short story, and I’m gonna talk about it.
This is not a novella built for individual heroes and villains. Yes, there’s a narrator and a protagonist, but Finley and her little team of marine biologists are more representative of an idea. They represent the place in society that our generation faces: The ones that came before us left a mess we have to clean up.
It’s not about Millennials or Gen-Zers or Zoomers or attempting to arbitrarily create division between them, it’s all of us who will still be here after the Boomers are gone, stuck with the world they neglected.
The main theme of the story is this: Is commodification of the natural world justified, if doing so prevents its extinction?
Take something like Sea World, that argues that its parks and animal shows raise awareness and give exposure to species many people will never see in the wild, and the issues those animals face because of humans.
However, Sea World also profits off the idea of having these animals perform for their existence and the company’s image still hasn’t recovered from Blackfish.
Companies like Sea World and Marineland are built off the exploitation of the natural world, justifying their existence as if their sole passion in this world is conservation, and, especially in Marineland, their animals are paying the price.
Take a story like Jurassic Park that ended in… kind of a bittersweet tragedy? Humans attempt to exploit beings well beyond their control for an amusement park of all things. Everything goes horribly wrong when, literally and metaphorically, the power goes out across the park during a hurricane.
People get eaten, the park is a total loss, but the message isn’t “dinosaurs are evil” it’s more like “fuck around and find out when you try to play god”.
And as a native of Florida, who wanted to be a marine biologist when I grew up, going to Sea World and watching JP on repeat even when I was too young to really understand it, let’s just say that the state of the oceans is important to me, and the cynicism toward the possibility of reversing the damage is hard to shake.
So I wrote a little book about it, from the perspective of a protagonist, Finley, whose whole career dies at her feet as the passivity and apathy shown by the world at large toward global warming and ocean pollution have led to the very real and nearly inevitable, slow collapse of global reefs due to bleaching that is happening right now. She’s out here, every day, attempting to save something that no one will miss until it’s too late.
Enter the opportunity to save it: Merfolk aren’t as extinct as the world thinks. Finley’s team has the chance to expose them and bring awareness to the plight of the oceans with a shock to the world that might actually do something. Kind of like Happy Feet, when penguin protagonist Mumble enthralls the world with his dancing and suddenly every government everywhere is compelled to reduce overfishing.
Or, it doesn’t change a damn thing, and instead merfolk might be ripped out of the oceans, tossed into big tanks and forced to dance for their dinner in some exclusive, Jurassic Park-like prison.
They must weigh whether the risk of the loss of one species is worth the potential of saving the rest of them, all while knowing that it might be too far gone and they’re all dead anyway. They also must weigh the idea of abusing a sentient, near-human species as non-consenting sources of entertainment, or food, or who knows what else.
To have to ‘dance for your dinner’ is to say that you are not inherently entitled to basic needs because you exist. Not only do you have to work for it, but you have to do it in a demeaning or derogatory way and call me a cynic, but if mermaids existed, they’d absolutely be exploited.
The idea for this to be about the reefs specifically came from a Netflix documentary that I adore, Chasing Coral, and if you are able, I highly encourage people to watch it.
Tell me How Long is only 22k words, though it was originally planned to be a far bigger story, JP already exists, and I wanted to focus on the decision of whether this is justified, instead of, now that we’ve justified it, how we go about it.
Which… does make this book a little preachy, but, I think, I am preaching to my choir, no? It was cathartic to write, and I hope it’s cathartic to read.
Tell Me How Long is available for preorder now through Amazon Kindle, releasing on February 7th. It will go live on all other platforms on February 21st.

they should bring miranda along and have a fun time. how do you think thatd go down? miranda has quite the mammal fetish, does she have thoughts on mammal art?
PFFTTT, I MEAN, i feel like if you actually told her to her face that she had a mammal fetish she would instantly die, but yeah. yeah that's accurate. she would deny it and refuse to be seen afterwards and want very badly to crawl away into a hole and die. but yeah she loves the hairy mammals. they're very warm and cuddly and nice to her.
also, we already do have that answer! there's the art class interaction in the original game, where miranda does see potential in and enjoys landfolk art! sure, it's not at all merfolk art, but she fully does appreciate it for what it is, and even gets to banter with liam for a bit on him being an overly judgemental critic. it's cute!
in terms of my own writing, this does go a little further too — moreso she recognizes that landfolk and merfolk art have entirely different histories and movements within them and philosophies attached, and she really is fascinated by that! it ties into why she loves silverware and cutlery so much; she likes to know the history of physical items, especially items which have a use on top of their artistry, which is intended to draw it out and make it nicer and more pleasing to see in use, without infringing on that use. she likes the dialogue they have attached to them, the way they're influenced by the places and times they're made, the little histories of all the people who make them and how it works together into making one singular piece or set. she might have a limited understanding of landfolk art, in a way that impacts her ability to fully appreciate it, but she knows what goes into it, and she likes to talk to liam and discuss those things, even if she's certainly very positive about the whole affair.
in turn, liam likewise DEEPLY enjoys what exposures to merfolk art and culture he gets, because it IS kind of the most underground and truly unique type of art available to him. it's an entire society, with a full history and many different cultures and movements through time, which has never interacted with his own! there are so many unique ideas they can share with each other, so many things he gets to hear and see for the first time! he's fascinated by how truly different all of it is, and a lot of his own criticisms tend to fall by the wayside, not really because they don't exist, but because they're too steeped in the art and society of the land... the merkingdom is a currencyless nation, so how is he even supposed to accuse anyone of being a sellout?

Well, while I’m stuck in traffic, I can talk about all my OCs lmao.
I saw a TikTok a few weeks ago of someone sharing all their OCs for the content they intake and enjoy. The caption was “I am cringe but I am free.” And, honestly, felt.
So, it’s my turn to be cringe and share my OCs and you have to deal with it lol.
- Arcane
I don’t actually have a name for him, tbh. I have just been calling him “Gale” which will make sense as I explain. He grew up a Zaunite working in the mines and his health was slowly deteriorating from constant exposure to the gray and hazardous conditions. When given the chance to escape the mines and the undercity as a whole. He takes it. He’d die if he didn’t and he needs to fight to survive. Managing to escape and take some time to begin recovering his health, he takes inspiration for the tales of Janna and begins researching the science of wind and air. Eventually he returns to Zaun (potentially some time after season 1) with his new tech that allows him to manipulate air currents and blow away toxic fumes within the undercity. He’d probably end up joining up with the firelights later, or something, to start working towards bringing clean air to Zaun. He’s my most recent so I’m still working out the kinks with him.
- Persona
Specifically he fits into the Persona 5 framework. His name is Daichi and his codename is “Artifice.” He’s exactly what the people of shujin accuse Joker of being: “A convicted felon.” He’s the type of person who looks and acts unapproachable. He did a stint in juvie for something (I don’t know lol) and is now at Shujin to serve some sort of rehabilitation like Joker is. He has become a social outcast and is commonly seen practically running from the school when classes end. Where you’d usually find him is at a repair shop where he tends to work on all manner of mechanical or electronic device. Building and repairing them. But, no coding. He can do hardware, not software. Eventually something something something he gets pulled into the metaverse and awakens to his persona, Daedalus, and takes up the mantle of Artifice. From there Joker and the other thieves get to see that his “strong-but-silent” exterior is a result of an antisocial nature and he’s actually very talkative to the people he considers friends. He’s got a dry with and a hell if a lot of sarcasm. Usually it’s Ryuji or Ann dragging him out to places “against his will” (he loves them and enjoys spending time with them. Don’t lie to yourself) But he does get along well with Haru as they both favor the heavier weapons and more aggressive aspect of fighting. He fights with a pair of gauntlets that allows him to both punch and grapple enemies to his hearts content.
- My Hero/BNHA
I gotta get better at giving these characters actual names and not just WIP names or code names/titles. Here is the Rhythm Hero: Melodist. Quirk: Rhythm. Anyone ever played guitar hero or rock band? Maybe DDR? Thats his quirk. If he is listening to or playing music and performs an action in time with the notes being played, he gets a boost to whatever physical action it is. Running in time with the down beat of a song lets him run faster for longer. If he throws a punch or kick with a cymbal crash it hits harder. Etc. He operates in a similar manner to Presentation Michael or Jirou in he is both a performer and a hero. His defining feature is his combat guitar support gear. Because, c’mon, laying out a nasty power chord them slamming the guitar over some chump’s head is just cool.
- One Piece
This one I technically have two. But, one is a DnD character for a one piece based campaign me and my friends are playing. The first (again, with no actual name) I just call “the Captain.” (Real original, tsar) He’s not too fleshed out beyond how I would expect him in combat. I’ve dual wields a cutlas and pistol/blunderbuss in a very fluid kinda watery grace. If you’ve played Hyrule warriors and have seen Tetra’s move-set, that’s what I’m basing this off of. That’s about it. He’s got the traditional pirate aesthetic of the tricorn hat and his captains coat being worn off his shoulders like is commonplace in one piece. And he’s got a bandana around his neck. (I need to do more work for this guy lol)
- Legend of Zelda
The sheikah are followers of the blood of the goddess. Chosen to be aids and advisors and even sometimes guardians for those who bear the blood of the goddess. Usually this takes the form of Impa and her various lives’ relationships with their select Zelda’s. But, they go all the way back to being in the service of the actual goddess herself, as shown from both Skyward Sword and things seen in the Hyrule Historia. My thought was to have a character from that time period be basically an everlasting archive of the history of Hyrule. A sheikah honored with the boon of being a reliquary of hyrule’s stories and the stories of its great heroes. Never really getting involved and always in the outskirts of everything. But, he will step in to offer aid and guidance from the past where he can to the blood of the goddess and the spirit of the hero. He’d stand in a similar regard to the likes of the Deku Tree, Jabun, Levias, the ocean king, the various dragons, etc. a timeless individual who is a whole host of knowledge that is willing to grant that knowledge if you know what to ask for. Predictably, no name for him, either. (Get your shit together, Tsar)
- Marvel Comics
Specifically the comics. I fell out of love with the MCU a bit before infinity war came out. The guy is kinda blending of the hulk/Bruce banner and Wally west from DC. Wally/kid-flash/the third flash saw what Barry Allen was able to accomplish and figured out how to replicate the incident that gave him his powers, getting some for his own and becoming the first kid-flash before inheriting the mantle of the scarlet speedster for himself. That’s the same general framework for my guy. He saw what banner did and was capable of as hulk and set out to try and replicate it (just, y’know, minus the setting off and getting caught in the blast radius of what basically amounts to a turbo-nuclear bomb). Boom! Another member to be added to the hulk family. Of course he wouldn’t have the same skillset/power set as the hulk. But, certainly similar. Each hulk has their own general schtick that helps set them off from the green Goliath. Even Hulk has different capabilities based on what run there is (Worldbreaker, Professor Hulk, Joe Fixit, etc). So, my guy’s schtick was kinda a half-inverse fusion of red hulk and abomination. As red hulk gets angrier, he gets hotter. The energy welling up inside of him and quite literally burning through his skin. So the inverse of that is getting colder. More frosty. An endothermic reaction rather than exothermic. Then add in some amphibious/aquatic traits like abomination has and you get my guy. A hulk situated for frozen tundras and the deep sea. No name for him beyond “blue hulk guy.”
Basically every other character I would have either has roots as a DnD character who has been manipulated to fit other franchises or is just a self insert for a franchise that has no definitive characterization for the main character. Oh, my farmer in stardew valley is just me but slightly to the left and in a different font? Tell me more. Here’s a real old DnD character of mine who never really saw the light. Let’s change maybe three words in his backstory. That’ll make him fit right in in X-franchise.
Anyways, I could go more in depth with the tropes and character stories I have thought up for each of them, but I won’t.
I am cringe but I am free

Gardens in the Circles
So, @shivunin brought up some wonderful speculation in the tags to the post about mage affinities. Which I actually have some things I'd like to add to!
#i do wonder if lack of access to plants in general for many Circle trained mages means that they may not develop plant/nature related skill
TLDR because I'm long winded and really love talking about these elements of worldbulding:
Circle mages don't actually lack access to plants. Most, especially in Orlais, Ferelden, and Rivain have frequent if not constant access to plants. Primary exposure due to ingredients and in circle gardens.
Its not just circle mages that lack affinity to plant magic. We don't see it manifest commonly in the Avvar, Chasind, Seheron (what we know of their magic), Tevinter, or Vashoth/Qun. We primarily see the manifestation in elves - more specifically the Dalish.
The worldbuilding so far seems to show there is a very real racial/genetic tie as well as a nurture/education element to what a mage can actually do.
So, long answer time. Let's start with the first point: Lack of access to plants for many Circle trained mages.
This one is addressed by point one mostly but also point two. But lets start with the access to plants a typical Circle mage has.
Outside of the variable of plant exposure prior to joining the circle, which unless their magic emerges on the younger end of the scale they've likely been exposed to plenty of plant life. But, after they enter the circles? Well, we know that mages not only regularly work with plants but multiple Circles have gardens. The two we have canonical mention of are Montsimmard and Kinloch.
There are multiple references of circles and mages having access to gardens in DAO, DAI, and the novels; such as from Vivienne that at the least Montsimmard circle had a garden, as well as reference to older female mages should have "stayed in the circle and focused on their gardening" through out the series.
Which would make sense, much like the Inquisition has some extent of an herbal garden, circles would need to grow their own plants for use in their studies, and manufacturing in alchemy, potion crafting, herbalism, and other magical practices.
We know that some mages even have a focus/specialty in botanical fields such as Ines Arancia; the author of most plant codices we read from da2 onward. You meet her in Awakening while she is out looking for northern prickle weed.
Coupling with that, the fact that in Orlais, mages have have significantly more traveling privileges and freedom than other circles we know of. A fact stated in both Masked Empire and Inquisition. We see this mentioned by Vivienne in Jaws of Hakkon, that mages do regularly go out and collect plants for alchemy or to study.
I think the only ones where that wouldn't be the case are Kirkwall, Starkhaven, and potentially the Anderfels (just due to the nature of the Anderfels). But I don't think the lack of affinity to plant magic is really exposure based.
Which brings us to the second point: Plant/nature magic doesn't manifest in cultures outside of the Circle.
We don't see those of the Avvar, Chasind, or Tevinter - except for one Tevinter character, Francesca Invidus, introduced in Desception comic - have any more affinity for plant magic than we do in the games. In fact, we only see mention of plants blooming, growing, or any manipulation under elven mages. There are exceptions; Malcolm Hawke, Francesca Invidus, the Warden when taking on the Keeper specialization, and Feynriel. It is much more common under those of the Dalish origin, or those who had a Dalish mentor.
Leading into the third point: The default of magic is racial/genetic, but exceptions can happen depending on how one is nurtured.
I do think, like most magic in Dragon Age, there seems to be a racial/genetic quality to it. Or rather more specifically how connected to the Fade/magic an individual is. Elves being the most of the known races and more inclined to nature and plant magic, vashoth being a rather unclear connection but seem to have an affinity to elemental magic, and humans being more of the general "jack-of-all-trades" sort where they have very few limitations except in the fields of certain magic that is designed by and for elves. Such as the crossroad magic, uthenera, and
But how a mage is raised, how their magical talent is nurtured can alter or redirect that. For instance, though mostly a game mechanic element, non-elven pcs can learn to be spirit warriors, knight-enchanters (a discipline developed by the Chantry based on elven practices), Keeper magic, and plant magic. Or how, Qun born mages might have an affinity for elemental magic due to their lack of formal or even any training.

FENG XIN  +  FEAR OF WOMEN
Feng Xin has suffered with severe gynophobia ( fear of women ) as long as most have known him. Even before Xie Lian first ascended , the book mentions how Feng Xin was already terrified of women for as long as Xie Lian had known him. So at bare minimum , since 14 when he officially became his imperial bodyguard , and likely probably known even earlier than that.
Several people who shared their stories said they could overcome it for certain situations and this is the case for Feng Xin. He can handle interacting with women just fine in certain circumstances. When there’s danger or when it comes to his followers and their prayers , he can handle it. We see him do it with the Ghost Bride scenario just fine, not just talking but even moving her somewhere safe. Similarly he can interact fine with The Queen and Ling Wen because those are duty situations. His interactions with them aren’t personal per say. Yes, personal matters come up , but protecting the royal family was part of Feng Xin’s duty which he never dropped even after the fall & banishment. It's his work, it's nothing personal Ling Wen it’s typically exchanging information & reports or being yelled at for fighting. It’s still in confines of relating to his duties. There is a clear task to deal with and this is just a part of it. He talks with them just fine in those scenarios. No mentions of panicking. Feng Xin can separate himself from ‘ duties ‘ and him. Excluding Xie Lian bc Xie Lian is everything to him. When it comes to saving people or work, he doesn't really have the TIME to think about it. He needs to focus on getting things done.
But the moment it becomes personal or isn't strictly for work, Feng Xin panics. He goes ghostly pale , he yells & swears , shivers and struggles to breathe , puts distance between them. Shi Qingxuan very nearly causes the man to pass out pressing against him & sends him into hysterics. And sure , it’s funny for everyone else. But for Feng Xin , it is genuine fear and panic. He can’t help it. He UNDERSTANDS it is irrational but it doesn’t help. He can handle talking if he really needs to , he’ll stutter and won’t make eye contact , but he can manage it. But if you start getting physically close , panic builds. Struggling to breath , verbal outbursts , cold sweat , chills , everything i said above. He doesn’t get aggressive, he would NEVER get aggressive, but HE will potentially get hurt trying to get away from them.
The situation with Jian Lan made it far worse. Because she was the first woman outside of work that Feng Xin finally started getting comfortable around , and then he got shoved away by her. It’s worth noting that even that took time. The book mentions that for a while , he would only sit and then gradually started to talk and eventually lead to more , though for all we know that could have only been 1 or 2 times. He wanted company, wanted to escape everything a bit. Even just sitting quietly in a room. In a way, it was unintentionally exposure therapy that helped teach him to at least talk & care with her. Many people with gynophobia mention they can be okay with certain women after exposure therapy like this. Not all, but some. It’s a very individual situation. Like with THIS woman I am comfortable but not others till getting to know them. That's how it was for Feng Xin.
Being rejected intensified Feng Xin’s phobia , not to mention over 800 years of it never being addressed. As a martial god , he doesn’t interact with many women besides his followers , and like I mentioned , he can handle that because it’s part of his duty ( despite his immense discomfort with how that has become one of his duties ). Time has just made it worse and worse.
But there ARE ways women can help make him more comfortable or talk. He’ll still be nervous, but bringing up things like animals, his pet dogs, archery, exploring the world, topics that Feng Xin knows and LIKES means he’ll be more inclined to talk. Still nervous, and not making eye contact , but he’ll talk , and he’ll slowly get more and more comfortable. And Feng Xin is a sweetheart , as he gets comfortable he’s more inclined to stop reacting so intensely or even go out of his way to maybe talk. It’s not instant , its a process , but he gets there and eventually he CAN get comfortable and interact with THOSE specific women as he would with others. But it’ very much for individual women and not a ‘ get over fear of all women ‘ situation.

Why Link Building Services for Fashion Businesses Are Essential for Digital Visibility
Tumblr media
Have you ever wondered why some fashion brands shine brightly online while others barely make a ripple You might be feeling overwhelmed with questions like how to get noticed by potential customers how to increase website traffic or how to stand out in an ocean of fashion websites If you have asked yourself these questions you are not alone Many fashion entrepreneurs and marketers face these challenges every day One powerful way to boost your brand presence is through link building services for fashion businesses which can significantly improve your website authority and visibility
Building a strong online presence is no longer optional for fashion businesses it’s crucial One powerful way to boost visibility is through link building When done right it can bring your brand closer to your target audience and improve your search engine ranking The importance of link building services for fashion businesses cannot be overstated as they directly impact your website’s authority and online reach I will share why this approach matters and how it can benefit your fashion brand in the digital world
What Are the Key Benefits of Link Building for Fashion Brands
Let’s talk about why link building matters especially in the competitive fashion industry Link building is about gaining backlinks from other reputable websites that direct users to your site These backlinks act like votes of confidence in the eyes of search engines When a well known fashion blog or industry portal links to your website it signals that your content is valuable trustworthy and relevant
Here are some benefits you can expect
Improved search engine rankings Higher rankings mean your fashion website appears near the top of search results for relevant keywords attracting organic visitors
Increased website traffic Quality backlinks drive referral traffic from interested audiences already engaged with related content
Brand credibility and authority Being mentioned by authoritative sites helps build trust among customers and partners
Greater exposure to niche audiences Fashion is broad so targeted links help you reach specific segments like sustainable fashion lovers or luxury shoppers
Long term marketing asset Good backlinks continue to bring traffic and boost SEO over time without ongoing ad spend
In my experience helping fashion businesses grow their online presence I’ve seen that those who invest in link building tend to build a more sustainable and trustworthy digital footprint It’s not just about numbers but about connecting with the right community of fashion followers
How Do Link Building Services for Fashion Businesses Work
You might wonder what happens when you hire link building experts for your fashion website These services focus on obtaining high quality backlinks from relevant sites in the fashion ecosystem The process typically includes
Identifying authoritative fashion blogs and magazines relevant to your brand and target audience
Creating valuable content such as guest posts guides or interviews that appeal to these websites and their readers
Outreach and relationship building with webmasters editors and influencers who can link to your site
Tracking and reporting the results ensuring that backlinks meet quality standards and deliver traffic
A real life example comes from a sustainable clothing brand I worked with By securing backlinks on eco fashion blogs and ethical lifestyle websites their organic traffic grew by 60 percent within six months These backlinks helped them rank for key terms like eco friendly apparel and ethical fashion brands which attracted customers who truly cared about sustainability
Why Is Digital Visibility Crucial for Fashion Businesses Today
Fashion is a highly visual and trend driven industry where consumers often rely on discovery through search engines social media and blogs Without strong digital visibility your brand risks being invisible to potential buyers or relegated to the back pages of search results
Digital visibility affects
Customer acquisition The easier it is to find your brand the more likely people are to buy
Competitive advantage Standing out online helps you gain market share in a crowded space
Brand awareness More eyes on your content means greater recall and preference
Sales growth Visibility drives traffic which converts into revenue
For instance a new fashion startup targeting young adults in urban areas saw significant sales growth after improving their backlink profile on popular fashion forums and style influencers’ websites Their brand became a go to recommendation which increased customer inquiries and orders
What Types of Backlinks Work Best for Fashion Websites
Not all backlinks carry the same weight or benefits Here are some types that can make a real difference for fashion businesses
Editorial backlinks Natural links earned when your content is cited or referenced by other websites
Guest posting links Writing articles on fashion blogs that include links back to your site
Influencer mentions Collaborations with fashion influencers who mention and link your website
Directory listings Being listed in reputable fashion or business directories that attract relevant visitors
Social mentions While social links are mostly nofollow they still contribute to traffic and brand signals
The quality of the linking site matters more than quantity For example a backlink from Vogue or Harper’s Bazaar fashion blog is far more valuable than many links from unrelated low quality sites Focus on relevance authority and audience match when planning link building campaigns
How to Measure the Success of Link Building Efforts
You might ask how you can tell if your link building is working Key metrics to monitor include
Increase in organic search traffic Are more visitors coming from Google and other search engines
Keyword ranking improvements Are you moving up in search results for important fashion terms
Referral traffic volume How much traffic comes directly from the backlinks placed
Domain authority and trust scores Are your site’s authority indicators improving over time
Conversion rates Are visitors from backlinks turning into customers or subscribers
Using tools like Google Analytics Ahrefs or Moz can help track these indicators Consistent monitoring helps adjust strategies for better results
What Challenges Do Fashion Businesses Face in Link Building
While the benefits are clear the fashion industry does face some challenges with link building
High competition for top placements Fashion blogs and magazines get many requests so it can be tough to get published
Maintaining content quality and relevance You need to offer valuable and unique content that fits the target site’s audience
Avoiding spammy link schemes Poor quality or irrelevant links can hurt SEO instead of helping
Keeping up with SEO algorithm changes Search engines update rules frequently requiring adaptation
Time and resource investment Building relationships and creating content takes effort and consistency
Understanding these challenges helps prepare better campaigns that deliver results without risking penalties
Can Small Fashion Brands Benefit from Link Building
Absolutely yes Small and emerging fashion brands can compete with larger players by focusing on niche areas and building genuine connections with bloggers and influencers Link building helps them
Gain initial visibility in specific fashion communities
Build brand awareness and trust from early adopters
Generate organic traffic without large advertising budgets
Establish themselves as credible and active players in the market
A local handmade accessory brand increased online sales by 40 percent after a few months of targeted outreach to local fashion bloggers and craft websites Their story resonated well creating authentic backlinks that boosted their profile
What Are Some Common Link Building Mistakes to Avoid
To make the most of your efforts avoid these pitfalls
Buying low quality backlinks from unrelated sites
Overusing exact match anchor texts which look unnatural
Neglecting content quality in favor of quantity
Failing to research the reputation of linking domains
Ignoring the importance of link diversity
Focus on building genuine connections producing helpful content and targeting sites related to fashion trends lifestyle and your target customers
How to Integrate Link Building into a Broader Digital Marketing Strategy
Link building works best when combined with other marketing activities like
Content marketing through blogs videos and lookbooks
Social media campaigns to increase brand engagement
Email marketing for nurturing leads
Influencer partnerships for credibility
Paid advertising for quick visibility boost
Together these approaches create a well rounded presence that supports your growth goals
Real World Example of Link Building Success in Fashion
One mid sized fashion retailer I consulted wanted to increase traffic for their new summer collection We focused on securing backlinks from seasonal fashion guides and trend blogs that target their demographic By contributing guest posts styling tips and behind the scenes stories we gained multiple high authority backlinks Over six months their organic traffic increased by 50 percent and online sales rose 30 percent during the campaign period
This example shows how targeted quality backlinks combined with relevant content can impact real business outcomes
What Is the Future of Link Building in Fashion SEO
While search engines evolve link building remains a foundational SEO tactic especially in visually rich industries like fashion Future trends to watch include
Greater focus on user experience and engagement signals
More emphasis on social proof and influencer collaborations
Use of multimedia content for linkable assets such as videos and infographics
Building relationships through personalized outreach
Increasing importance of local and niche backlinks
Staying updated and adaptable will help fashion brands maintain visibility in changing digital environments
Conclusion
If you want your fashion brand to be seen and trusted online investing in link building services for fashion businesses is essential It improves search rankings increases targeted traffic and enhances your reputation By building relationships with authoritative websites relevant content creators and influencers you create lasting digital assets that support growth
Avoid common mistakes focus on quality over quantity and integrate link building with other marketing efforts for best results Whether you are a startup or an established label quality backlinks can open doors to wider audiences and increased sales The digital world is competitive but with the right approach you can make your mark and connect with fashion lovers everywhere

Digital Earthing: What It Is and Why It Matters in Our Connected World
In today's fast-paced world, we are constantly surrounded by screens and electronic devices. From our smartphones and laptops to smart home gadgets, technology is everywhere. While this connectivity brings incredible convenience, it also exposes us to a constant presence of electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and can leave us feeling overstimulated, stressed, and even disconnected from the natural world. This is where the concept of digital earthing comes into play.
You've probably heard of "earthing" or "grounding," which traditionally involves direct physical contact with the Earth – like walking barefoot on grass or sand. The idea is that connecting with the Earth's natural energy can help balance our body's electrical state, reducing inflammation and improving well-being. Digital earthing takes this ancient wisdom and adapts it for our modern, indoor lives. It's about finding ways to achieve a similar sense of balance and calm, even when we're surrounded by technology.
Tumblr media
What is a digital earthing system?
A digital earthing system refers to technologies and practices designed to lessen the possible effects of constant exposure to digital environments and artificial electromagnetic frequencies. It's not about creating a direct electrical ground in the same way your home's wiring is grounded. Instead, a digital earthing system aims to help your body maintain its natural electrical rhythm and stability, which can sometimes be upset by the widespread electronic signals around us.
These systems often involve special mats, sheets, or personal devices that either passively connect you to a harmless ground reference (often through a household electrical outlet's ground port, but without using electricity) or create a subtle energy field that helps to make your body's bioelectrical state more balanced. The goal is to reduce static electricity buildup in the body and promote a feeling of calm and centeredness, similar to how you might feel after spending time in nature.
What is the function of the digital ground?
The "digital ground" in these systems has a very important job: it provides a stable, low-energy reference point. Think of it like this: just as a calm lake surface offers a steady point in a rough sea, a digital ground aims to give a stable electrical reference for your body in a place full of different electronic signals.
Its function is to help neutralize or get rid of unwanted static charges that can build up on our bodies from synthetic clothes, carpets, and electronic devices. By doing this, it helps bring the body's electrical state closer to that of the Earth, which is seen as a natural and stable reference. This can potentially lead to less stress, better sleep, and an overall feeling of well-being, by letting your body work in a more natural, balanced way.
How is electronic earthing done?
When we talk about "electronic earthing" for personal well-being and digital earthing products, it's usually done in one of these ways:
Passive Connection to Ground: Many digital earthing products, like mats, pads, or sheets, come with a cord that plugs into the ground part of a regular wall outlet. It's key to understand that these products do not use electricity from the outlet. They simply use the ground wire inside your home's electrical system, which is connected to the Earth outside, to transfer the Earth's subtle energy directly to you or to let your body's charge go into the Earth.
Bio-Resonance or Energy Field Devices: Some other devices might not use a direct physical connection to an electrical ground. Instead, they might use technology that creates subtle energy fields or specific frequencies believed to help create an "earthing" state within the body. These work by trying to match and support the body's natural energy patterns.
Conductive Materials: Products might also use special materials that conduct electricity. These help to get rid of static charge from your body, effectively creating a grounded feeling.
It’s important to tell the difference between this and the "earthing" done for electrical safety in buildings. Electrical earthing uses strong wires to connect electrical systems directly to the Earth to prevent electric shocks and damage to equipment. While both involve the "ground," digital earthing for wellness is about balancing your personal energy, while electrical earthing is about safety and avoiding electrical dangers.
In our constantly connected lives, finding ways to keep our inner balance is more important than ever. Digital earthing offers an interesting way to do this, helping us feel more grounded, calmer, and better able to live well even with the digital presence all around us.

PGP MBA Interview Tips: How to Ace the Admissions Process
Tumblr media
If you’ve made it to the interview round for the PGP MBA at ISMS Pune, congratulations—you’re halfway there. But this is the part where you need to truly show who you are and why you belong in a program that combines an MBA degree, a Post Graduate Program certification, and international recognition through the Pearson BTEC Level 7 Diploma. It’s not just about academic scores anymore; it’s about mindset, clarity, and potential.
Here’s how to walk into that interview room (or virtual call) with confidence:
Know the Program Inside-Out Don’t just say “I want to do an MBA.” Show that you understand what makes the PGP MBA at ISMS Pune different. Talk about the global exposure through the BTEC Level 7, the industry certifications, or the hands-on learning experience. This tells the panel you’ve done your homework and that you’re serious.
Be Clear About Your Why Why do you want to pursue this program? What do you hope to gainand where do you want to go with it? Your answer doesn’t need to be a five-year plan, but it should reflect self-awareness and a sense of direction. Maybe you want to switch careers, grow into a leadership role, or build something of your own. Whatever it is—be honest and confident about it.
Reflect on Your Journey So Far The interview is as much about where you’ve been as where you’re going. Think about what your academic and professional experiences have taught you. How have they shaped your interests? How do they tie into this program?
Practice Without Sounding Rehearsed Mock interviews help, but don’t memorize responses. Instead, prepare a few key stories that highlight your problem-solving skills, leadership traits, or ability to work in teams. Let your personality shine through. ISMS interviews are more conversational—so treat it like a professional dialogue, not a Q&A session.
Stay Updated with Current Affairs & Industry Trends Being aware of what's happening in the business world adds depth to your responses. If you can reference a recent development in marketing, finance, or tech and tie it to your interests, that’s a big plus.
Stay Calm, Stay Real Nervousness is natural. But remember—the panel isn’t expecting perfection. They’re looking for potential, honesty, and curiosity. Don’t be afraid to say “I don’t know” if you genuinely don’t. What matters is how you handle the moment.
Preparing for the PGP MBA interview isn’t about building a perfect version of yourself—it’s about bringing your best, most authentic self to the table. And when you do that, you don’t just crack the interview—you stand out for all the right reasons.

Being aware of how I want to be transformed.
Allowing myself to feel out the nuances of wanting and needing.
Many want it.
To be full of life. Fully alive.
Few get it.
And none keep it.
Taking up space to enter into a renewed energy.
Accepting to work with what can fairly be withdrawn again.
Allowing the dirt of transformation to spread
in my space as to be wrapped up in it
like a caterpillar in a cocoon.
Ashamed of showing that this change is what I want.
Laying open a need.
Maybe not even a need of appreciation, acceptance or support.
But the need of having my own back enough when questioned and standing behind it
Open to attack.
Energetic test:
do you really want it that much as to face this amout of counter force?
Burning contact.
Diminishing everything that is not necessary.
Am I ready for that purifying fire?
That asks you to accept all possibilities of suffering?
That destroys the images of mind,
which with soul and heart combined
could not bring to life a lived reality?
In Bulgaria I see the faces of people,
I long was not ready to accept.
Mirrors of everything I wanted to avoid,
was encouraged to defy.
An united surrender to humanity.
Am I okay to stand my ground when everything tears me down?
What am I ready to let go off?
Do I trust life enough minimise materials for skill and reach?
Exposure.
Vulnerability of need.
Everyone can read what I write,
A mind I long tried to hide
I cut myself away
Yet how to navigate a plane without knowing who I am.
With intention to play is different than
Yet how to connect meaningfully?
That's always connected to some pain and discomfort.
I rarely am able to access the connection over joy (partying, celebrating, art, etc.)
Where is my lightheartedness?
I connect to duty and comfort of sorrow.
I'd like some more movement and simple joy.
All the war talk at Vegetarium upsets me.
I haven't even truly enjoyed life enough to lose it.
But maybe accepting the potential immediate loss is a good enough connection to fuel me with drive.
To be with what I am being given.
I criticise a lot about myself on behalf of others.
Certainly with some right as I've been raised with values that I didn't need to hang onto much longer.
They said I might have your baby.
The desperate tormentingly luring delusion makes me give in to false hope and horror.
What I did to that child.
Unknowingly!
Symbolically speaking for what must be steong enough for you to decide to create physical boundaries between us more than already given.
You want space.
And in that you push me out from what I thought takes space away from me.
Break a promise of holding up a bond that can let both of us thrive.
Now you antagonise.
And I cannot blame, only see balance fall into place of time - for have I not made the same mistake to someone else?
Only that I believe I just have to invent myself anew.
★*★*★*★*★*★*★*★*★*★*★*★*★*★*★*★
An after-you.
You called me a black hole,
when you are the force,
from which I still cannot pull myself away from.
Not yet.
Which is when they told me I might be pregnant from you.
Or have a fatal illness
Making me internally choose the life you might have given me.
Only for them to refute their statement.
Thanking the universe for my life and grieving the one I painfully, yet literally, never had with you.
*★*★*★*★*★*★*★*★*★*★*★*★*★*★*★*
I train myself to drink little as not having to be so sad when there is nothing more to drink.
I am filled with explosive anger.
Where can I put it?
Because I'm ready to destroy a person
in blind rage.
How does that relate to Vegetarium?
Maybe it doesn't.
Maybe it does, for I see myself vegetate.
And maybe it's both because I am a full person, living in a bubble -
a moment surrounded by past and presence, reaching out to other moments that I can never reach.
For I am not there to fulfill another reality, another version of me.
And ultimately - what would I have changed?
Would I like myself and my time more?
What's a vision and where does it come from?
Some things I see on the telly (tele-vision)and watching causes such impressionable emotions that I'd like to recreate such an experience. Believing that's how I will feel those emotions more deeply, as though it was real then.
Only that it isn't the same at all oftentimes.
I ran into this trap quite stupidly - trying to recreate things to a T deluding myself blindly i to the belief the more I would recreate, the more I would reach that state of a fulfilled experience - and feel more alive and more aware of life by that.
It does sound silly to write it out, and still I believe that I'm not an only case. At all!
Isn't that the premise and foundation of trends. If I follow x routine, I will experience y own emotion i want to experience that. I have to repeqt so i experiencia what i felt when watched not same tho
When does it turn into an attachment?
And why do I hear attachments being used in negative connotations? Isn't an attachment not some creation of this reality we create within this dimension?
On the basis of comfort
Freedom of not being measured in productivity.
Finding companions to complain with as we set out on a jounrey of questioning our values and standards together.
Discipline- doing it tired. Listening to needs and body signals vs discipline helping to maintain
Usefulness = offering to take over a tedious task for others so they pay you with the freedom of giving another tedious task to others
Becoming okay with discomfort.
I am learning that here.
I don't like the emotional roughness & coldness that is also interchanged with niceties around this place.
Even though I do fancy niceties,
which I would like to join in and return,
if it wasn't so hurtful to be met with unpredictable rawness again.
It does remind me of situations
that already hurt too much in the past.
So I prefer keeping my distance and keeping it professional (which likely will eventually turn into a regret,
because "what if I haven't tried enough to like it here"?)
At the same time, I know it's time to set emotional boundaries as not to fall into depression. It's time to both stick it out and, looking for alternatives. Some ego punches might even do me well in my personal growth.
Capital is what we are born with.
Someone with valued status is only in their energy when role is feedbacked to her.
Sonof course they try to keep their
status as much as possible.
Bad feedback would feel like loss and throw them out of their circle.
Meaning:
I feel sick to my stomach.

Unlocking Innovation: The Power of Cross-Disciplinary Interactions in Coworking Spaces
Introduction
In today's rapidly changing world Coworking spaces are fast becoming centers of innovation and creativity. These dynamic work environments bring together professionals from diverse fields, including startups, freelancers, tech developers, artists, and marketers, among many others. One powerful aspect of collaboration is the potential for interaction. Cross line of work where people from different backgrounds come to work together Inspire each other and develop their work together Let's explore how these interactions foster creativity and drive innovation in collaborative spaces.
1. Break down the silos
In a traditional office environment Employees are often restricted to working within their own departments. This can inadvertently create silos and limit exposure to new perspectives. Co-working spaces prevent this by creating a natural environment for collaboration. People from many different fields work together. This leads to casual conversations that can develop into valuable partnerships. App developers can sit next to graphic designers. and ultimately collaborate on projects that no one could have imagined alone.
2. Promote innovation through diverse ideas
When experts from different fields interact, they bring unique perspectives to problem solving. This diversity of thought is key to driving innovation. For example, marketers and engineers working in the same space may have very different approaches to challenges. through discussion Brainstorming and knowledge sharing They can develop new ideas. that no one can create by themselves The ability to learn from others' experiences and expertise in a collaborative environment creates fertile ground for groundbreaking ideas...
3. Creating a network with goals
Coworking spaces offer unique networking opportunities that go beyond traditional industry meetings. Here, networking is woven into the fabric of our day-to-day work. This often results in lasting and natural relationships. Professionals don't just exchange business cards. They exchange ideas, skills, and sometimes even resources. This natural network helps build a professional community that supports personal growth and promotes collaboration and innovation across the sector.
4. Opportunity to learn and develop
Many coworking spaces offer workshops, talks, and panels led by resident experts. These activities provide an opportunity to learn about emerging trends and insights from a variety of disciplines. Encourage members to broaden their horizons and bring in new perspectives. For example, a digital marketing strategy workshop can engage technology developers with insights they can apply to their products. and increase market access
5. Increased productivity and motivation
Working with people who are passionate about different fields. Incredibly inspiring, the energy in a co-working space is often contagious. This creates a productive environment where everyone is motivated to do their best work. Being surrounded by people with diverse abilities fosters a sense of community and responsibility. This often leads to higher levels of productivity. Moreover, because co-workers are exposed to different work styles, They are therefore more likely to adopt innovative strategies and improve their own processes.
6. Carrying out projects across disciplines
One of the exciting outcomes of cross-disciplinary interactions is the possibility of collaborative projects that use diverse skill sets. Since app development website design to creating digital marketing content The possibilities for unique collaborative projects are endless. Coworking spaces act as a breeding ground for such ventures. where people with complementary skills can come together and bring ideas to reality.
Conclusion
The power of cross-disciplinary interactions in collaborative spaces is transforming the way professionals work. These spaces bring together diverse ideas under one roof. Create a vibrant community that fosters creativity, innovation, and shared growth. For anyone looking to break out of the industry bubble, coworking spaces offer an invaluable opportunity to network, learn, and collaborate with people from many different fields. This ultimately leads to both personal and professional growth.

MY bf apparently cannot take any paid leave yet because he's been at his workplace for less than 6 months, which means our vacation is under a big question mark this year...... well, HIS vacation, because I'm not really about to have been working a year without a vacation, sorry.......sooo sorry not sorry though 🤪 though I am afraid to vacation alone. I don't think my country is very solo-trip friendly, especially when you're a woman. But I can't afford to go elsewhere, and it would be last minute planning anyway. It drives me NUTS that this is just. Normal. Like, having to work 6+ months at a workplace before the employer decides you deserve to have some time off. He works 14 hours shifts for 2 days every 2 days too, so he doesn't even have legal holidays or weekends off AND isn't EVEN allowed to SIT DOWN!! That's just fucking insane sorry I can't fault the employees for putting up with this cause everyone's gotta eat but just the principle like just the mere simple fact that this happens and no one bats an eye. Is making me rabid. Vacation plans ruined aside. And my best friend is in the same situation of not being able to go on holiday except she's been working at her desk job for like 2 years. It's even more infuriating that her employer decided she should take all of her days off in December last year. Like imagine your employer deciding when you take your vacation?? I'd shit in my chair and leave.
Anyway topic change: lately I've been going crazy over Fia, like I can't stop thinking about her all the time, and especially wondering how she's doing, how life has been treating her. I feel it's kind of unhealthy and like borderline a creepy obsession that only I know about, but I don't want to let go of her, the memory of her is such a mental crutch to me. I realized Saturn transited her Moon maybe a couple weeks or so back, and I pulled a card for the very broad and general question "How is she?". And the card was The Tower 😭 and ik the Tower isn't always automatically bad or dangerous, but it has potential to be, and anyway it represents change and upheaval and I got a bit sad/scared for her. I just hope she has a good and full support system, regardless of whatever has been going on, good or bad. I always wonder this, trying to picture her surrounded by people who love her and care about her, trying to picture her receiving that love and care. I think it's hard to picture her giving it back because I've never seen her do that, but it's easy to picture the former because I loved her for so long. Sometimes I idealize her to such an extent that it feels surreal for such a human to exist on earth, she turns fragile and tender in my vision, like a single touch would hurt her, and the urge to protect her grows even more intense, and brings with it the frustration of being incapable of doing so. It's bizarre, this has happened with almost all of my obsessions over time. I think she's my longest lasting one. OH and I was also thinking about her like fear? Of being the subject of gossip, or being talked about in Facebook groups of students and such. I do have a memory of her asking something like that, and even though she was reassured she still seemed so anxious about it. Probably why she stays off social media. And yet it was her coworker who was overheard gossiping about her irl... by my friend, who said he called her crazy. 😑 Idk, just some thoughts that kind of add to my theory of her being a Gemini rising with Pisces moon in the 10th house. I've also been watching Breaking Bad with my bf (we finished it yesterday!! He loved it and so did I, rewatching it as an adult has been such a good decision and so wild. It really is one of the best TV shows ever made) and Bryan Cranston's mannerisms, facial expressions, gestures (ofc not limited to his Breaking Bad role, I was also noticing this in Malcolm in the Middle) are so similar to hers I almost thought my bf would recognize some of them, and his "exposure" to Fia was much shorter-lived than mine, and through a screen. And he's a Gemini rising!
