I've read so many amazing books this year. I read quite a few good ones last year, too, but I've found a lot of "best I've ever read in my whole life" books this year.

(or: I just finished Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt and my heart feels a special balance of the grief of finishing a book and the contentment of enjoying the ending.)
