WOAH!!! ewhat the HECK!!!!!!

when i started this blog i assumed id give up pretty quickly - i never wouldve guessed that a year later itd still be going strong!!! thank you to everyone whos interacted over this past year, its been so very wonderful!!

ive got no plans to stop yet, so heres to another year of this goober. HOWEVER, i will be turning off asks in a week to try get through the backlog, which is. extensive. so if you have any burning requests, get them in quick!!

the oystercatcher is a really good bird and i would like to take this day to make you look at one. see, jake loves it too!

#i saw an oystercatcher for the first time today. ive only ever heard them before!#she was so much bigger than i thought! i assumed they were teeny tiny because they make such high pitched squeaks #but she was duck sized and beautiful #jake english #homestuck #day 240 #i live on the coast and theres a lot of oystercatchers hang out wayy out on the beach #but they only come out at night so i never see them #but sometimes im at the beach in the dead of night. and i can just hear them in the darkness #and i always follow their sounds. i never find any of course. its pitch black there #i tell this to you so you know that if i suddenly stop posting its because i couldnt stop following the oystercatcher calls at night #and i sank into quick sand or smth #this has been: more life stories with shittyjakeenglishs mod
