0VERTURE is one of my original aethers, so the idea of a family lineage is really cool to me w her, especially since I never did anything like this w my progens

while not all of them are, some of them are Music/Song based

0VERTURE is based on both the term and also an AJR song I used to like. TwentyOne was one of the kids from a breeding pair that isn't what me and my friend are looking for, but the thing that sold me on keeping him and making him an aether was bc I thought about Twenty One Pilots. Fyre is one of the ones that's not, he's a reference to a collectable from my friend playing AC: Syndicate. Freakshow is because I was listening to Freakshow by Skillet. Fury just sounded nice with her brothers. Taffy I don't remember where her name came from, but I think she had it when I bought her? Might be wrong. And finally, Droopy is a nod to the minecraft songs 'Droopy likes Your Face' and 'Droopy likes Riccochet'.

Freakshow and Fury are twins, and Fyre is their older brother. I haven't decided if Droopy will stay in it, but the rest of the family is apart of my set of circus dragons.

I was going through this particular post and felt emotional...

Jm really calls jk baby isn't it?? We saw in the show too...things are slowly falling back to places just like many had doubts like why would the two bandmates supposed friends or the worst "not good mates, hate eachother so much to breathein the same place" travel to countries shooting a show in their last moment of freedom instead of laying happily beside their supposed gf or bf right.

They did tell us indirectly that they are together in their life without saying anything...just like everytime they did...

Just read it again and ok then, what can I say, I am impressed. Quite the talented writer whoever wrote that one.😜

But seriously, am I a fortune teller or what? This was way before we even dreamt of a Jikook travel show giving us 9 hours more or less of authentic Jikook interactions. I'm not going to say uncensored, because there was clearly some censorship going on, at times on their part (awareness of cameras) and at times from the editors. But man, even with all of that, now that we are on the other side of this show you need to be really daft not to see they are telling us they are a couple. And if the show didn't convince us, well, this HAD to:

You weren't surprised, right?

Only surprise was that once again it was allowed in.

But then again, purposefully so.

I know many are calling it a soft launch and well maybe you can call it that. But I would rather not label it. I will just sit here and enjoy what they have given us, which is so so much.

In this show we basically got first and foremost JM and JK telling us and showing us that they are, without a doubt, the closest duo in the group of 7. This comes on the tail of a couple of years where oh so many were claiming and reveling in what they thought was an apparent distance between the two. Apparent to those that for some reason think that these young superstars live their private lives for us to fully see. I guess (more so hope) that those ideas were laid to rest. And that for once and for all people finally realize that the two actually have a private life that we are not fully aware of. That the two spend time together even if we don't hear about it. That the two were and still are super close - intimately close.

And that takes me to my next point. It's not that the show revealed something that we weren't aware of when it comes to the level of intimacy between the two of them. It's not that they hadn't told us all of this over the years. It's that people were unwilling to hear it or see it and with the show we got to see it, 9 hours worth of it. Them on their own and them with their good friend that insisted on joining and was for most part allowing them to do their own thing. Not only did Tae's presence not disprove Jikook's closeness and intimacy (something many were hoping for), it actually highlighted it. It highlighted just how different, how much MORE JM and JK are with each other as opposed to either of them with Tae. Even when the three were spending time together (and I say even because much of the time Tae just left them to do their own thing or even if he was with them).

So yes, this was them allowing us to see just a little bit more of THEM. Together. The playfulness, the chemistry (again, something we were "warned" about in the promos - their known chemistry...), the way they just flow with each other, JK clearly being JM's cook (we get that in words and actions) and so much more.

I am not a fortuneteller and as such I can only write in hopes and wishes. I do hope and wish that this is them setting a new reality for the fandom. Yes the fandom should have caught on by now just how close they are. They basically never hid it, even if at times they pulled back with what we were shown (for many many reasons, some personal some towing the company line). But I am really hoping that post AYS Jikook will indeed be louder in the sense that they will allow us to continue and see THEM without the pullback we got at times. Because Army will accept THEM and embrace THEM. That the Jikook we get post military will be able to mention one another and it will be a new normal, not an eyebrow raising event. That JK won't have to say he'll get his toiletries and go over to shower at JM's because they will be living together in JK's new mansion. That they wouldn't have to hide it because people would finally accept them for who they are and who they love.

EARLY Predictions for Bridgerton Season 4

BENEDICT IS OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED TO BE THE LEAD FOR SEASON 4!

I've had this in my drafts for a couple of weeks. But now that Benophie is officially happening next season, I have some EARLY predictions for the next season. I'll have more predictions when we finally have a clip or a trailer, but for now I'm gonna cast a wide net for what I think will happen in season 4.

1- MASQUERADE!

They really name-dropped that masquerade ball like Tahani Al-Jamil name drops her celebrity friends. And they mentioned it in the promo with Luke T. The masquerade ball is happening! My guess is it'll happen somewhere in the first two episodes of season 4. This will be where Benedict meets his Cinderella/mysterious Lady In Silver/Sophie Beckett.

The code name for season 4 is supposed to be Vauxhall, where we saw Daphne and Simon launch their fake dating plot in season 1. That was a public ball, which means that anybody who could pay the fee could get into it. Perhaps we'll return there for the masquerade ball. Makes much more sense for Sophie to be able to crash that instead of a private ball at the Bridgerton house.

Let's just hope her carriage doesn't turn into a pumpkin before she can make her escape.

2- A Possible Time Jump

In Benedict's book, he meets Sophie at the masquerade, she runs away at midnight, and then he doesn't see her again for another two years. I think a time jump could happen again. Specifically for a few of my upcoming predictions.

Also, it would add to the drama.

Can you imagine the reaction from the fans with the screen fades to black and then some text fades in that reads TWO YEARS LATER?

3- Kate and Anthony Might Not Make An Appearance Next Season

Possibly an unpopular opinion, but I almost dont know why they bothered with having Kate and Anthony in season 3. It seemed like it boiled down to "We're here! We're hot! We're horny! And we're fucking off now! Bye!"

At least when Daphne showed up in Anthony's season she helped drive the plot forward and tried to help guide her brother on the bumpy road to matrimony. Anthony had one half-assed conversation with Colin about his engagement to Penelope. Kate did most of the heavy-lifting when it came to important talks with the family. She did most of the talking to Colin the night before his wedding to Penelope. (Not that it mattered because all of her work was undone the moment Charlotte showed up to the wedding.)

Kate also gets credit for speaking with Eloise to try and smooth things over between her and Colin. And then they left their family for a third time to go all the way to India, a journey that's going to take them six months one way.

But with a time jump, that would give enough time for Anthony and Kate to go to India, have their baby, spend some time there, and then make the long journey back to be present after the time jump with a toddler.

(With how pregnant Kate was looking at the wedding, I would not be surprised if she gave birth at sea. She and Anthony did not think that plan through at all. And why the hell did they leave without attending Francesca's wedding??? And when the Queen was certain that a Bridgerton was behind Lady Whistledown???)

Anthony and Kate being absent would also be a convenient way to keep the Bridgerton House set around for a little while longer.

Anyway, sending Kate and Anthony off to India felt like a way to let Jonny and Simone do other projects for a season instead. Jonny himself is probably gonna be busy with all of the press for the upcoming Wicked movie. So if the announcement comes that they won't be around, I wouldn't be surprised.

4- Last Season for Queen Charlotte Queen Charlotte Lives Forever!

Bridgerton is not known for being 100% historically accurate. And let's face it, even if it were, people would still be complaining about the historical inconsistencies. But one thing Bridgerton is creeping up on is the year 1818. And it's in November of that year that the real-life Queen Charlotte passed away.

Season 4 will, I assume, start in 1816. If they do a one-year time jump, we'll get the rest of the season in 1817 when the main events of Benedict's book take place. If they do a two-year time jump, like they did in the books, then we'll be in 1818 and we'll be in the year we say goodbye to Queen Charlotte.

BUT, the showrunners have pretty much said that they've decided the show exists in an "alternate universe" and they're just going to keep Queen Charlotte around for a while.

The Queen lives. Long live the Queen.

5- Eloise Meets Sir Phillip Crane (?)

While the masquerade references were heavy-handed, the references to Philoise were more subtle. In episode 3x02, Eloise wears a dress that is patterned with the same flower that was gifted to her by Sir Phillip in the books. And in 3x05, when trying to make herself feel better about her betrothal, Cressida tells Eloise that the two of them can "flirt with widowers." The showrunners are slowly setting up the Eloise/Phillip dynamic--they have been since season 1. I think they'll set more things into motion in season 4 and set them up for season 5.

Eloise already expressed to Kate how she felt as if everyone was pairing off and leaving her behind. Benedict's marriage will end up being the tipping point for Eloise.

Phillip would have lived the life of a botanist/academic if it weren't for his brother's tragic passing. Perhaps his academic connections could play a part in Eloise's desire to meet new people and change the world?

If they meet in season 4, it could be the catalyst for them to begin to exchange letters like they did in the books. Which will ultimately set them up for their story in season 5.

Of course, this also means that Marina is going to have to die offscreen at some point 😐

6- Cressida Redemption (?)

One of my major gripes with season 3 was that they gave so much time to the threesome subplot that two other subplots seemed to have no real conclusion or were dropped completely. One of the subplots that didn't get wrapped up as nicely as it could have was Cressida's. We didn't see her reaction to Penelope unmasking herself as Lady Whistledown. She just kind of...left.

There is a long-standing fan theory that Cressida will have a part to play in the Benedict/Sophie story based on a piece of script that named Cressida's mother "Araminta". If this is true, then I think we'll see Cressida in some way next season. And maybe she'll get a happier ending. I never thought at the beginning of the show that I'd want Cressida to end up happy somewhere, but boy season 3 did a great job of making me actually sympathetic to her character.

7- Another Offscreen Wedding

One thing that I know frustrated Kathony fans last season was not seeing an onscreen wedding for Kate and Anthony. I mean, we saw a wedding, and Kate and Anthony were there, but he almost got married to the wrong person. The closest we got was Anthony disassociating so hard that he astral projected himself into an alternate reality.

The only onscreen weddings to canonical spouses we've seen have been the Daphne/Simon, Colin/Penelope, and Francesca/John weddings. But if anybody was hoping to see an onscreen wedding with Benedict in season 4, think again.

I believe that the drama of Benedict and Sophie's story will keep up through all eight episodes of their season. And, like Kate and Anthony's season, we'll flash forward in time at the end of the episode to Benedict and Sophie several months into their marriage. But we won't get to see the actual wedding.

8- Crossdressing Sophie (?)

Admittedly, this is less of a prediction and more wishful thinking on my part. This is the route I would go down if I was writing for the show, anyway.

Show!Benedict now being canonically pansexual has opened up the possibility for him to have an LGBTQ+ partner. But I have a slightly different idea. One plot point of Benedict's book is that Sophie, after running away from her stepmother's house, cuts off all of her hair to sell when she's desperate for money.

I think Show!Sophie could still get her hair cut off like in the book, and then go around disguised as a man for safety/freedom of movement/job opportunities. Then Benedict gets confused when he discovers Sophie in "boy mode" because he hasn't felt this level of attraction to someone since his Lady In Silver.

Maybe we'll get a Victor/Victoria scenario out of it (woman pretending to be a man pretending to be a woman).

Like I said, this is less of a prediction and more of the route I would go down if I was writing for the show. It probably won't happen this way. But maybe I'll give fanfic writers some plot bunnies.

I currently sat in my private locker room with Killswitch, Nick Wayne, my wife Y/n and our baby girl Madaline. The five of us sat in a comfortable silence as we watched Collison on the tv in the locker room. Looking around the room I felt a fuzzy feeling in my chest, I was surrounded by my beautiful dysfunctional family. The people I loved most. I was distracted from my thoughts when I heard Y/n and Nick start to boo at the screen. I looked to find my former best friend turned arch rival Adam Copeland on the screen. Copeland had been on my ass for months, ever since he arrived in AEW he wouldn't leave me or my family alone. I was on my last straw with him, what else could he want from me. I already beat him TWICE, for god sakes he put my son through a flaming table! He has no right to be demanding another title shot, he is undeserving. 

I watched as Adam walked to the ring microphone in hand, what the hell did he want now. 

“I am sick and tired of Christian Cage and the Patrarchy, all they do is cheat. If it wasn’t for Y/n and her tricks I would be standing here as your TNT Champion. Speaking of Y/n I don’t think you know this but in real life her and Christian Cage are married. Yeah, let that sink in for a moment. I guess Christian Cage really does have a thing for fatherless wrestlers, bonus points if they are way younger than he is.” 

I could feel my blood boiling as I heard the words fall from Adams mouth. I looked to Y/n and she was in shock like the rest of us. “I mean she is 20 years younger than him! But hey who am I to judge, if I was Christian Cage I would do the same thing. I mean have you seen her, damn. Christian you better watch out because once I take your title I’m going to take your controversally young wife. Which by the way you only married because you knocked her up, nice job having a newborn at 50” 

At this point I was livid, I wanted to kill Adam Copeland, how dare he talk about my family like that. For someone who gets so mad when someone brings up his family it’s ironic how he has no problem talking about other peoples relationships. 

“While I’m at it did you know the the age gap between Nick Wayne and Y/n is significantly lower than her’s with Christian, Gross. Y/n if a filty who-” Just then his mike was cut

That was the final straw, I stormed out of my private locker room and ran to the stage. I was going to make him pay. I knew this was probably a trap but I didn’t care, my adrenaline was pumping. I jumped on top of Adam and beat the bloody hell out of him for real. He tried to cover himself from my blows but they did nothing. I was able to get a good amount of shots in before security pulled me off of him. “I’m going to fucking kill you! What the fuck is your problem huh!” I yelled to Adam as security held us apart. The audience was shocked, they could tell that this wasn’t a work, for god sakes they cut off his mike before he did any more damage. My adrenaline was still pumping and I knew I coudn’t let Adam have the last word, especially after he disrespected my wife. I managed to steal a microphone that thankfully worked. 

“What the hell is your problem. You disgust me, how dare you speak of my wife and family like that. I think you are jealous of me. You have a boring marriage that has no love, you are married to an old hag who can’t even sleep in the same bed as you. Can’t you accept that I am just better than you, I have a better life, a better wife, I am the TNT champion god dammit. Just acceppt it and move on, and speaking of cheating just go home and beg your wife to forgive you for cheating on her AGAIN. Now I’ll admit that I am an asshole but I would never so something like that to the woman I love. Oh and I dare you to talk about Y/n again, next time I will make sure to kill you” 

With that I left, security escorted me backstage and out of the building. I didn’t even care of the consequences I could possibly face, I was proud of defending my family. On my way out I saw all the wrestlers backstage comforting Y/n who was understandably very upset. It warmed my heart to see.

A day has passed since the incident with Adam Copeland and myself on Collision. Like I assumed everyone was talking about it. Considering in this rivalry I am the bad guy Y/n and myself had received nothing but support during the whole situation. People were turning on Adam for his actions, being disgusted with what he said. AEW made the decision to give Copeland a four week suspension along with making him put out an public apology. The following is a total BS apology from Adam Copeland;  

*I would like to sincerely apologise to Y/n, Christian Cage, AEW and the fans for my actions on Saturday. What I said was truly uncalled for. I apologise to everyone who was offended with my words. I take full responsibility for my actions and will continue to work on being a better person. - Rater R Superstar Adam Copeland*

A Goode year ... 2023

Time for my usual review of Matthew Goode's year. Every year I sit down to write these thinking - hmm - we didn’t see enough of Matthew Goode this year.  [NEVER enough]  But then each year I’m surprised by how busy he is. But this year we had several months of Goodey being MIA. How did we cope?

January -

You can tell I'm searching for 'news' when the biggest thing that happened in January was the release of a 13 year old interview with Matthew on the Ellen Show! Well it got us excited coz most of the old YouTubes of it had disappeared.

Not a Goode month - I seriously couldn't find any Goode news in the archive.

In March we got excited about Matthew playing either A RABBIT or a hedgehog (coz we will take ANYTHING during this drought) in a new animation 'Tally Ho' also known as 'Spiked'.

The movie premiered at AFI Fest but sadly, due to the strike, we missed out on seeing Matthew there. The review started appearing and guess what - our guy did good. More than holding his own working with Sir Anthony Hopkins so who could ask for more?

The superlatives about Matthew's performance as C.S. Lewis kept on coming. AND Matthew was spotted in Seville with his mate Jenson again for yet another Hackett campaign...

OMG there has been so much Goode action I don't know where to start. Matthew packed with so many interviews, zooms and articles to promote 'Freud's Last Session'. Exhausting for Matthew and a bit overwhelming for fans - but I'm not complaining. Here's just few appearances -

Matthew's interviews gave us some fascinating insights to the type of human he really is and what he believes - as well as the usual fun, laughter and the constant 'non-verbal leakage' that he is SO aware of.

AND a few hints that he is in talks to reprise BOB!

We got the official trailer in December and 'Freud's Last Session' had a limited release in the US (L.A. and New York).

Matthew has continued to receive great reviews for his work in FLS and let's hope that directors and award voters sit up and take notice!

So what will the next year bring? Well - it's looking goode.

Finding out that Georgia will be in Michael’s new project while his “girlfriend” ie; baby mama has been retweeting and promoting the show before it can even come out and isn’t in it…… OOF. I guess Michael decided that since this will be his own personal project he wants Anna nowhere near this one, especially since he can make the decision not to put her in it. Also hope David will end up in it alongside Michael where they both act and work together again

(Grouping all of these Anons together since there is a common theme.)

So, for those who might've missed it, one of the recent GO 2 promo interviews was with Michael by himself, and in it, he talked about his directorial debut project, The Way, and mentioned that Georgia makes an appearance:

To your question, @whimhabit, this is the first time there has been any mention of Georgia in the film, at least as far as I'm aware. That would explain those comments in her interviews, though, as well as this photo that she posted on Instagram of her on the way to Wales last month:

Regarding @phantomstars24's comments, though, I don't know that we can definitively say that AL isn't in The Way, but that makes it look even stranger that Michael didn't say anything to that effect, because he could have (and has had no compunction about mentioning her being in his projects--such as LTTC--in the past). Even if things about the production were under wraps previously (which could be why Georgia couldn't say anything/why AL hasn't said anything if she does have a part), that clearly isn't the case now since Michael did mention that Georgia is in it. But that also raises the question of why Michael would cast his lover's David's wife in the show, but not his own partner...

On top of all this, Michael also dropped another interesting tidbit in one of the GO 2 promo interviews the other day, which is that apparently his parents were in the Job sequence, but their part was cut from it. So in the course of all the GO 2 interviews, there have been mentions of multiple family members--Peter Davison and Ty, Georgia, and Michael's parents--but not AL. At this point, the omission is pretty glaring, and certainly raises some questions.

Which then leads us to AL's Insta story from last week, as well as a comment she wrote on Twitter, both of which seemed to barely receive any notice in the fandom:

It's hard to know where to begin, but the fact that this came within the space of a day and in the midst of all the GO 2 interviews really feels like a grab for attention (which I imagine is now harder to obtain, since the SAG strike means none of the actors can promote it). But this text continues the pattern of 1) Not having Michael's name on it, for some reason; and 2) Her seemingly trying to prove something about their relationship while achieving the opposite. Of course, plenty of texts between couples can be humdrum or about everyday events, but the takeaway here is that this could've just as easily been an exchange between a homeowner and a house-sitter. Why show the three missed calls? To make it seem like he was urgently calling her (even though she ignored them all)? And then as Anon #1 mentioned, for the denouement to be him asking if the gate was closed was entirely anticlimactic.

...And then there's the comment on Twitter. Again, out of nowhere, and her reply (or parts of it) were so thoroughly weird and unnecessary. I have more thoughts to share that involve spoilers for GO 2, so I will put the rest of my response under a cut. Read at your own discretion:

The mention of his lips and kissing felt so deliberate as to be ridiculous. Rather than using the reply to praise him as an actor or his work, it seemed entirely self-serving, and specifically engineered to remind us that she has kissed Michael. (Albeit in the creepiest way possible, because it also makes it sound like she targeted him...)

I just can't help thinking that if his and AL's relationship is going great and everything is peachy keen (which actually rhymes with Michael Sheen), then why does she need to remind the world that she's kissed him? Also, we now know that David definitely has, so it makes one wonder if she feels threatened by that and by what we're going to see on screen in GO season 2.

Which brings me to another point, which is the marked difference between that Twitter response and everything we've seen in the GO 2 promo interviews. Michael and David have already been giving off "They totally kissed" energy for the last four years, but we now know that is the case for sure (and likely not just in the show). Yet in the interviews, David is completely playing it coy (largely due to not wanting to give away spoilers, of course)...but that same energy is still coming through, even without them saying anything. And I think it's coming through not just for those of us who already know about the leak, but for those who don't know about it, too. All without Michael or David ever once saying the word kiss.

So those are my thoughts on these recent developments. The interviews with Michael and David have been full of so many shippy/cute moments, but also lots of very interesting little blink-and-you'll-miss it pieces of info, so I'm glad we got to discuss those as well. Thank you all for writing in! x

Chapter 13

Miracle heard the moment her mother and Nathan drove up, and stepped out onto the porch. The wind rustled her flowy dress as she hurried to the car and helped Nathan with his overnight bag and then greeted their mother.

"It's so great to see you guys," she gushed, carrying Nathan's bag to the front door. "DId you have a nice flight?"

Ella nodded, "It was great." She looked around, noted that it was still daylight. "Nathan, you play on the swing set. The grownups are going to talk for a bit before dinner." Her voice was firm. Ella turned her attention to Miracle as the little boy headed for the swing set then. "What's this news, Miracle? You have me worried sick."

"But Daddy's not here yet," MIracle protested. "I don't want to-"

"He said it's okay to tell me, Miracle. I really need to know."

Miracle thought for a moment as they went into the house and settled the overnight bags in the guest rooms. "I guess I could go ahead and tell you. I…" She bit her lip and held back the news a moment more, unsure of how her mother would react.

"What is it, baby? You can tell me anything."

"I'm… I'm going to have a baby, Mama. I'm about two months pregnant."

For a moment, neither woman spoke, nor moved.

"Oh, my God," Ella gasped finally. "I… I don't know what to say."

"Say that you're happy for me." Miracle's eyes pleaded with her.

"Have you gone over all your options?"

Miracle nodded, "The only option is that I'm having the baby and keeping it."

Her phone rang then. "It's Daddy," she reported, answering the call. "Hi, Daddy."

"Hi, baby. Just letting you know that I'm on the road to the cabin. Stephanie McMahon let me film my promo earlier in the day and that freed me up for tonight. I'll be there in a matter of minutes."

"Okay, Daddy. See you when you get here."

She hung up and faced her mother. "He'll be here in a few minutes. He filmed his promo earlier in the day so he could be off for tonight. I'm scared Mama." She reached over and hugged her mom close. "What if he hurts Finn?"

"He won't," Ella assured her. "He'll talk a big talk, but at the end of the day he's going to be concerned about you more than anything."

"Tell me everything will be okay, Mama. Please?"

"Everything is going to be fine," Ella said, stroking her daughter's hair and hugging her even closer. "It will."

At that moment, Joe barged into the cabin with Nathan close behind. The two women jumped out of their skins.

"Daddy! You scared us!"

"Why was the door unlocked young lady," Joe demanded. "Anyone could have walked in here!"

Miracle flushed, "Sorry, Daddy. It was just that I was excited to see Mom and all. I usually have it locked." She smiled at him then, "Why don't we sit down and eat? I made chicken cacciatore."

"We can eat while you tell me the news you have," Joe said, moving to sit down at the dining table. "I was a nervous wreck the whole way here."

"Oh, Daddy," Miracle said, placing the entree onto the table. She went and got a bottle of red wine for her parents and iced tea for herself and Nathan. "Don't be so dramatic."

"What's the news," Joe asked, taking a sip of wine.

"Are you sure you don't want to eat a bit first? You must be starving," MIracle stalled.

"Or get some alcohol into your system," Ella added under her breath, as she took a sip of her own wine.

"What. Is. It?" Fear began to enter his voice then.

Miracle sighed, flipped her hair over her shoulder. "I'm… I'm pregnant, Daddy."

"FINN KNOCKED YOU UP!?"

"Daddy-"

"HE'S DEAD!"

"Daddy, stop it! You're scaring me!" Miracle cried.

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry," Joe relented slightly, worried for his daughter. His eyes shot over to Nathan then. The little boy's eyes were glued to Joe and the Samoan felt horrible for frightening his children. "What are you going to do? What has your cardiologist said?"

"I only found out today. I don't know what he'll think, but it doesn't matter. I'm having the baby."

"But what if the labor kills you," Joe said, his voice rising again. "Don't you care what that would do to us?"

"This baby may have been made out of a one-sided love, but it was love nonetheless. I love Finn, and I'm not going to destroy what my love for him made! And that's it!"

"Baby, calm down," Ella advised, "It's not good for you or the baby to get so upset."

"But he's suggesting that I-"

"Nobody's suggesting anything," Ella cut in softly. "This is your choice. It has to be."

"Are you crazy," Joe demanded of Ella. "She can't have a baby! It'll kill her!"

"I can, and I will," Miracle said, her face paling drastically. She began to shake. "I'm not losing this baby!" She stood to her feet too quickly.

Big mistake.

She instantly fell in a dead faint, and hit the floor hard.

"JOE!" Ella screamed. "Do something!"

"Daddy! Help Mir'cle," little Nathan cried. Tears filled his large, dark eyes.

"Baby!" At the same moment of Ella's and Nathan's cries, Joe dove to Miracle's side and checked her pulse at her neck. "It's all over the place," he reported. He took her limp hand in his. "Baby, wake up. I'm sorry. Please."

"Miracle, please wake up, Honey," Ella said, settling on the other side of Miracle. She looked up at Joe. "Do you think we need to take her to the hospital?"

"No…" Miracle moaned in her now semi-unconscious state. "I'm… I'm f-fine…" She slowly opened her eyes to see her parents' worried faces looking down at her. "Help me to the sofa?" she asked weakly.

Immediately, Joe was lifting her up into his arms. "Baby, see? The pregnancy is already wreaking havoc on you." He carried her to the sofa and gently deposited her onto it. "How will you manage labor?"

"Plenty of women get dizzy and faint during pregnancy, Daddy. It can be normal. Especially if they're upset."

"I'm sorry," Joe said immediately. "I didn't mean to upset you. But I'm scared, baby."

"Fournier took enough from me-almost my life. He's not going to take my son or daughter too."

"Okay," Joe relented softly. "Okay. We'll support you, no matter what."

"I want… if I don't… If I don't make it… I want either Finn or y'all to have the baby. I realize Finn may not want it. And that's okay. I know y'all would be amazing parents to him or her."

"Baby... stop," Ella said, tears forming in her eyes. "We can talk about this another time. There is plenty of time."

Joe's eyes had reddened as well. "Yes. Another time. Please."

"I think a change of subject would do us good," Miracle said, moving to stand. Slowly this time. "Come on, we need to eat something. All of us."

Her parents guided her to the table to make sure she wouldn't drop again. Once Nathan was resettled in his seat as well, they began helping their plates.

"I know it's a little early, but do you have any ideas for baby names," Ella asked, serving herself some salad.

"No I haven't really. I'd like to use y'all's names as the middle name if I can make it work-Joel for a boy, Giselle for a girl," Miracle said. "But I haven't really thought of any for sure names."

"Are you going to try and make a relationship with Finn work," Joe asked, taking a bite of chicken cacciatore.

Miracle flushed.

"Hey I just need to know so I know whether or not to kill the father of my grandchild," he actually joked.

"I think I will, if he's serious about a relationship. And if he'll accept that I'm having the baby. I don't want to get played again."

"I don't actually think he was trying to play you," Joe surprised everyone by saying. "I don't know what was going through his head, but I don't think he was trying to be a cheater."

Miracle nodded. "I know. I feel the same way." She took a deep breath and let it out. "I think I'll call him later tonight. Invite him out here. Let him know about the baby. He has the right to know."

"Why don't you finish eating and invite him then? The sooner you get it done the better you'll feel about it," Ella suggested before forking up a bite of salad.

MIracle nodded. "I suppose you're right." She ate the last bites off her plate and then excused herself to the porch where she placed a call to Finn.

Ring-ring-ring

"Miracle? Is that you, love?"

She smiled at the eagerness in his voice. "Yes, it's me. Listen, I need you to come to my Uncle Jeff's cabin. It's where I've been staying."

"Are you okay? Has he found ya?"

"I'm fine. And no he hasn't found me. I just...have something I need to talk to you about and it can't really be done over the phone."

"Come on, lass. What is it? You have to tell me now."

"No. Please, just come to the cabin, Finn. I'll give you directions on how to get here. It's in Nashville."

"I'll come to you, but I want you to know that I could very well have a car accident because I'm so worried."

"Finn, don't do that to me," Miracle cried. "I really need to tell you in person. It's nothing to worry about, I promise."

"Yeah, okay," Finn said.

He sounded weary and Miracle felt badly. "Just get here soon, okay?"

"I'll get a flight out as soon as I get done hitting the showers. I promise."

"Okay. Be safe."

After saying their goodbyes, they hung up and Miracle got ready for bed after bidding her parents and Nathan goodnight, as she was somewhat drained from the day's events.

The parents and Nathan also went to bed soon after Ella and Joe cleaned the dining room and kitchen. They planned to leave early the next morning so that Miracle and Finn would have their privacy to talk.

"She's got a big day ahead of her," Ella said as they pulled back the covers on the guest bed. "I hope it goes well for her."

"Yeah and Finn better hope it goes well too, or he's gonna have me to answer to," Joe replied.

"Now, Joe, this is between them two. You can't interfere."

"If he tells my daughter he can't be with her because she got pregnant, I'm gonna let my feelings be known."

The couple climbed into bed and surprisingly fell asleep soon after, despite everything that was running through their minds.

Joe and Ella woke up at 4:15 A.M. and decided to get up and get going so that they'd be gone when Finn arrived.

"We might as well leave," Joe told Ella as they got out of bed. "Finn could be here any time, and we'll be all but forgotten," he joked.

"Our baby's in love, Joe," Ella said softly, with a smile on her face. "She's in love with a good man."

"That remains to be seen," Joe retorted, as he helped Ella make the bed.

They soon were getting their things together and getting Nathan out of bed and ready to go. Miracle wandered out from her bedroom and wished them good morning. "You guys don't have to leave so early," she told them, her dark eyes showing her fatigue. "I wouldn't mind you being here when Finn arrives."

"You need to talk to him privately," Joe said, "And if I'm here at the time, it would be anything but private."

Miracle giggled, "Daddy, you're such a papa bear."

"You're right." Joe agreed, packing up the last of his things. "When it comes to my family, especially."

"Yes," Ella said, also packing. "He's unstoppable. Thank God." She gave him a meaningful stare and he instantly knew she was referring to hers and Miracle's kidnappings years before.

"Yes, thank God," Miracle agreed.

Flushing slightly, Joe cleared his throat. "Is Nathan packed up and ready to go?"

"Yes, he actually left everything in his suitcase," Ella replied, with a smile. "I don't know where he learned his neat-freak ways, but I am grateful for them nonetheless.

"Neat-freak," Miracle joked, "He's just too lazy to unpack!"

"Hey, he's only six. Lighten up," Joe said of his son.

The family had a quick breakfast together then and Joe loaded the luggage into both his rental and Ella's rental. "You have a safe flight, yeah?" Joe told Ella, kissing her softly on the mouth.

"I will, and you have a safe flight too," she said, returning his kiss.

"Will do, lo'u alofa. Will do."

"Bye Daddy. Bye Mom. Bye Nate." Miracle bid farewell to her family and stayed outside on the rustic porch swing for a while after they'd left. She breathed in the fresh air and smiled. She had her family's support. Now all she needed was Finn's.

After enjoying the clean, fresh air and relaxing a bit, she stood to her feet and entered the cabin. Unbeknownst to her a dark pair of eyes stared in her direction and watched every move she made.

He remained where he was for a couple more hours hoping that he'd see another glimpse of her. But when he did he was not happy.

A car flew up into the cabin's driveway and out jumped Finn Bálor.

A second later, Miracle was on the porch, a huge smile lighting up her pretty face. Her braid flew over her shoulder as Finn ran up to her and swooped her up into his arms.

And then his mouth was on hers.

Mine, he thought. She's mine. His fists clenched at his sides, his fingernails digging into his palms till he drew blood.

He seethed as Miracle failed to push Finn Bálor away, but rather seemed to pull him closer.

Should be me, he thought, watching as the couple proceeded to make out on the porch. After a few moments, they were scrambling inside the cabin and closing the door behind them.

Slut, he thought to himself. She's no different to any other woman. She needs to pay.

And pay, oh, she will...

6x06 Thoughts

(these are my live thoughts as i was watching, with some later thoughts/clarifications added)

Tamara's moving out? Great [Listen, I like Tamara, but I think it's weird Tim and Lucy are always hanging out over there when she has a roommate] Although the timing is not great. Bet Lucy feels like everyone is leaving her Tim caved to Angela pretty quick Boo 😂 Angela doesn't even want to know why or how he lied? Ok they're sticking to the same story as last week Oh wait there's more? I love these BFFs together again It's like the last 2 seasons never happened 😂 Tim is bad at this 😂

(Del Monte has gotten mean. And corrupt?)

The rest of Tim's story is even worse 😭 So why is he doing the same thing now that he did wrong back then? To protect himself? [i didn't love that the backstory was about how Tim ended up risking his squad to keep his job. perhaps that is just how he is telling it because he feels so guilty? idk. and it's one thing if he comes clean but...he doesn't. and he's doing the exact same thing this episode - not going through proper channels and putting people at risk to supposedly save his job?]

Ray cloned the gps and is going after Lucy?! Omg she deserves to be furious at him Done being the good girlfriend 🔥 [loved this scene - and I think it made sense, they know due to the job they won't always be able to tell each other everything but that doesn't mean they can't help each other] Woah they caught Ray super fast 😂 [I thought there would be more to this dock scene] Woah interesting editing skipping to him in the interrogation room Why is Tim lying?? I am veryyyyy confused I fear this has ruined Tim's character for me [ok i still love tim but it was not clear to me why he lied and why he didn't try to right his wrongs - both in the past and present]

We got a hug But where is the apologyyyy Okay so he lied to protect her and Lopez - and his job - and she's ok with it?? Did she make him lie? And now he's the one mad at her? This makes no sense And now HE'S breaking up with HER?? Oh! He did say I'm sorry 🙃 Is this because he doesn't believe he's good enough for her or he blames her for why he had to lie? Ohh she's not taking this from him, good for her Of course this is happening in the parking lot 😂😭

Okay so without the rest of the context of the new Tim backstory and how we got to this breakup, I actually really like the last scene and am excited for what comes next. I guess I kind of wish they had done something like this before they even got together - Olicity S3 parallel, anyone? - because these issues existed for Tim even before now.

Also I think it would have been helpful if they didn't just skip to Tim lying, and they would have explained the plan/why he was doing this/what had been agreed upon between him, Angela and Lucy. Because until she said it I didn't think she would agree with that plan and I still don't really understand why Tim wouldn't come clean - except if it's to protect Lucy (and Angela).

And at first I was thinking what Lucy said - so you lie to me to protect me and then you break up with me because you had to lie? that's messed up - but I don't think that's why he actually broke up with her. He broke up with her because he's feeling really guilty and he doesn't feel like he's good enough for her.

And the 'I know, I know' (remember when we held on to each 'I know' we got?) - he knows he's wrong and he's hurting her so that gives me some hope. So basically I have some empathy for Tim here and understand why he felt he had to break up with her but I still think he should have come clean. And I feel for Lucy too of course, she's just had thing after thing be piled onto her.

The promo for next ep is crazy. I'm excited to see Tim do some self reflection and healing. But this is going to be the third Tim heavy episode in a row. So when are we getting our Lucy arc?? Unless they're trying to make her even more alone for hers? And either Melissa is really good not giving out spoilers, or else they're really not going to resolve a bunch of stuff this season that we thought they would... :( Look I'm still processing this all but bottom line, I'm not mad about the breakup. Those scenes were super emotional and good and it just means we get another "getting together"/makeup scene down the line. And I would say this has significantly raised our chances of getting another sex scene! 😏

Magnum PI 5.03 ‘Number One With a Bullet’ review

So, thanks to the first two episodes being so awesome and totally on point with everything I might have gone into this one with a tad bit to high of expectations.

Don’t get me wrong, I did like this episode. Maybe not as much as I was hoping for. Part of it, for sure, was  the lack of Magnum and Higgins scenes (them being like my fave part whether they be bickering, being awesome partners, kicking butt or smooching) but I think the biggest part was the fact that I didn’t feel like the plots at all connected. 

The Three Plots and How They Did Not Fit Together...

Like I really loved Gordy and Child’s ‘save the K-pop star’ thing. Gordon’s son having her ringtone, the whole getting randomly stabbed *dramatic* and showing up to save the day and just all around like-like-like. It was totally wholesome and so far I am not seeing sad- spiralling- depressed Gordy anywhere! (Since I do love my angst I was kind of looking forward to that.)

The Greene dead thing very mysterious, loving Magnum pondering the watch and figuring things out there at the end after hearing the guy was tortured.

Rick and Higgy getting kidnapped, was probably my least favourite bit. Because it was all just too easy and the investigation too off screen and neither TC or Magnum seemed all that concerned/stressed out. 

Like come on, compared to when Juliet got snatch or Magnum poisoned this was like ‘whatever’ and we got just a very small moment Magnum helping Higgy out of the grave there at the end when they were all reunited. 

So the story with the kidnapping in itself isn’t really the problem and could have been really great if we got some more emotion from the guys. TC being worried about lying to Suzy (or something) about where Rick had gone and then being all ‘what if-’ and Magnum going ‘don’t man, they’re fine’ to show something. I love TC and Magnum and they were such a fun duo the times when they’ve worked cases before and I didn’t get that as much this time. Because rush and lack of feels? 

While I know not everything leads to something and stuff, because that is the nature of episodical TV I think we should have had something here to call back or plant seeds for the future.

So yeah, the kidnapping and k-pop girl plots should/could probably, in my humble opinion each have had their separate episodes and the episode which featured kidnapped Rick and Higgy should have had some stakes and emotions. Like also would not have minded, in a few episodes, for kidnapping episode to have been the Miggy together reveal.

I also kind of figured we might get that at the end, with a big damn Miggy kiss there at the rescue moment. Just because Rick was all ‘Magnum got a GF’ with Juliet at the start in the car. (I guess we’re calling that one baby amnesia, because like a week or two ago Magnum told him he had feelings for Juliet.)

That car convo a the start was gold though. So cute when she’s all happy when Rick says ‘whoever she is he must really like her’ and I found Juliet’s ‘that’s a shame, I was looking forward to meeting her’ both funny and kind of interesting. (Please talented people, give me gifs of this scene!!!)

Anyways, as always, a fun ride, but for me this was not a new fave-fave. 

Promos Lie

So yeah, is this news to anyone? No. Am I still a little upset? Yes.

Other than Magnum PI and the occasional Hudson and Rex episode (my mother loves it so I usually help her stream it when I’m there) I don’t watch a whole lot of TV. I certainly don’t watch the promos for episodes before watching them if I do catch an episode of something else. 

Thus, I forget, promos lie and get all excited just to be disappointed. I’ve adjusted my expectations accordingly now and am I figuring we’ll get the stuff from the promos at some point but maybe not always in the episode they’re promoting. Such is life even if it is annoying.

Next week

Looking forward to some good old Magnum and Higgins working a case and maybe some development on the Greene case. I’m figuring we can’t go too fast with it, because it’s supposed to be the mid-season finale right? So 7 episodes to go. It looks pretty action packed and we got a concerned Higgy which is always nice. 

So yeah, looking forward to next week and if one is lacking Miggy feels there is always the option of re-watching this gif for 4 hours! Enjoy...

Hello, how are you if I can wade in and vent if thats ok with you.

Austin has been criss crossing the globe with all things promotional with MOTA and then the juggernaut of Dune 2. He has yet to hit the road again abit on a smaller scale for Bikeriders to promote. Not to mention he's probably filming, working what ever.

But these questions, chatter and discussions about AB and the Oscars. Like ok. Lets give our boy a break. He doesn't like the paps. He wants a private life and he's had done everything plus some needed for his work over the past few months to give us the true fans alot to fawn, enjoy and arguably lust over.

I don't care about Nepo enemy number one or which Oscars after party he went to with her. And her mum! Though I kind of secretly hoped he partied with Timmy or Callum tbh, defo love him and Callum too much. I'm glad with her 'boyfriend' being so busy with work and living his best life it's shown she truly has little going on unless created by herself *cough bookclub and her acting work in big moves* and her family through their crafted PR.

Oh and that other ex. Like dude, why were you on the red carpet your not a list. Actually why were some of those people on the red carpet? And then ragging on talking about AB, days before to the press knowing you have been broken up for ever now and now preggo with your new husband's baby. MOVE 👏 ON 👏WITH 👏 YOUR👏LIFE👏. Like all of them need to stop and leave him be honestly. Looking bitter now ladies.

Im sorry, Im getting upset and i dont know why. Some of the fandom stuff maybe is getting me down. Idk! I want to read and hear all about Austin but not everything else. It gets irritating I guess. Sorry this has been months of being annoyed I think

I had mixed feelings about having Y/n in AEW, sure it was great to see her after all these years but it was strange since how much we had both changed. I remember when I first saw Y/n after all our years apart. I was backstage at dynamite when I saw her, jokingly said to my sons “That chick over there looks like Y/n” and once she turned around I noticed it was indeed her. I felt my stomach drop. She looked different, older, well of course she looked older we were both way older now but she aged like fine wine, still gorgeous as ever. When I asked what she was doing backstage at Dynamite she explained that she was there to help the young talent in the women's division, along with teaching her daughter how to wrestle. Jen Tortures Herself With Every Dreamworks Animated Movie Ever: The Boss Baby

(I could not for the life of me find actual promo art for this stupid fucking movie anyway). Boss Baby is bad. Wow, Jen, what a shocking revelation! Who could have guessed? Yeah, I could have. Cause this movie sucks. Let's get into all the many, many reasons why.

Seven year old Tim lives a perfect life with his loving parents, until the arrival of the Boss Baby, who acts like a normal baby around adults, but in reality, he's actually a corperate suit who works for Baby Corp, which is where all babies come from. A rivalry ensues between Tim and the baby, until they're forced to work together to foil a plot to stop puppies from overtaking parents' love for babies. Or something like that, idk this movie's plot is fucking weird.

So yeah, weird ass story that just... has really fucky pacing? Like this movie drags on man, it drags on SO long to the point that I felt like it was never going to end. We get to the climax and there's still like 20 minutes left in the movie??? Bro, stop padding this damn thing out. Nobody wants to sit through this fuckass movie for that long???

Our characters are all pretty lame. Tim is a typical annoying kid with an overactive imagination, there really isn't a lot to him. Boss Baby is as about as annoying as you'd expect a baby playing off white collar worker stereotypes to be. The parents are barely characters, same for Boss Baby's little crew. The villain is also the same old upstaged petty jealous bitch who wants their glory days back. Dreamworks, you just fucking did this trope. In fact their past three movies have had this trope (Dave, Kai, and Chef).

The humor in this is expectedly lame and childish. Because there's such a large focus on babies, you can expect lots of poop and vomit jokes, which I am absolutely not a fan of. When the humor isn't that its just "oh look at this cute baby saying he wants a latte and talking about stocks! Isn't that FUNNY? LAUGH, PLEASE WE"RE BEGGING YOU!" And it's trying so hard, both to be funny and to wring out genuine emotions and I think it almost manages to do the latter near the end, but even then it all comes across as nothing more than pandering and tryhard. Like I already don't like these characters, movie. What makes you think I'm compelled to feel anything about them?

The animation is... oy. A mess? The character designs are just bad, man. They look like something out of a shitty mobile game ad, with those massive uncanny valley eyes that take up half their face. The movie is agressively colorful, and while I praised something like that in Trolls, I can't say the same here. It's just too... hyperactive for me? Like there's lots of imagination sequences sprinkled throughout the film and you can tell they're trying to be stylized ala Kung Fu Panda, but there's always just too much going on on screen and it kind of hurts to look at? Like fuck, movie, calm down. You are way too overstimulating right now and my eyes are starting to goddamn ache just looking at you.

The one thing I didn't hate about this movie I suppose was the music. They could have easily littered the soundtrack with shitty pop songs, but they surprisingly held back. The score is also fairly nice to listen to, should have been in a better movie than goddamn Boss Baby, that's for sure.

There's also the fact that this movie's lore is just... a confusing mess? I get that this is for kids, but like? It takes itself seriously, so why am I still so confused about where babies come from in this universe. Are they concieved through Sex? Or are they made in a factory or something? Like what the fuck am I supposed to think, movie? Make it make fucking sense, please.

So yeah, I didn't like this one. I think Dreamworks was trying to make a kids' movie that could also appeal to adults here, but in the end, they made a movie that appeals to absolutely no one. Sure, I suppose it has its fans, who are likely just dumb kids who are too stupid to know they're being pandered to, but I am certainly not one of them. Fuckass movie, fucking hated it. Get it out of my face. Now.

Overall Rating: 2/10

The funniest thing about Klaine was the lengths that show would go to sometimes to make Chris colfer look shorter or on equal height with Darren Criss in the early years. Like in so many of their promo pictures they’re TFT at the locker scene where poor Chris must have been leaning at a 70 degree angle to give the appearance of being shorter 😭😭😭 I can’t have been the only person to notice this

and like to get all meta conspiracy theory i really think the second darren stepped on the scene as blaine the people behind the scenes were doing everything in their power to make him the Man of the relationship and the fandom picked up on that and thus started the toxic male/female binary of this GAY ASS relationship between two MEN and i dont believe they did this intentionally so in two seasons they could swap the dynamic around so that in another season they could have an important conversation about kurt not being the fragile flower who needed protecting. it was a good scene but you know the writers didnt have that in mind as early as season two lol

ugh anyway i've already ranted and rambled about all this before and you can read it in the posts linked above lmao. but its so annoying and i really think it created this whole Way of viewing the two characters and the couple that had a ripple effect that still permeates the fandom on some level to this day

i also think Maybe it wasnt so bad in s2 bc a lot of what im thinking of is instances of photo shoots which im guessing the directors didnt have a hand in. but in s3 it was definitely intentional and nasty but they were nasty to kurt in general that season aaand i think that was all just part of it. idk

1x05 and 2x04 both end with ed and stede leaving a party that is on fire, having hit a major turning point in their relationship. i like symmetry

So, had COVID last weekend! Good times all around, totally was not in any condition to follow anything complicated. But since I'm reasonably close to alive again, just going to dump s2 ep 9 and 10 together here at this point lol Spoilers follow.

Ep 9 is definitely pretty interesting from stylistic perspective. Normally, a sequence in monochrome turning bright and colorful almost feels like a cheesy way to signify one's gray life taking on meaning and some cheer. But the narrator is unreliable and to me, feels like a mirror to the twins' dad. And then there's the establishment of this episode's pattern of laughter as a form of expression of aggression, not cheer.

Do we know if Qian Jin's wife was cheating on him? Hell if I know, he's an unreliable narrator anyway. But then again, a guy who weaponizes some traumatized psychic kids he found at an apartment with a DV incident that ended badly isn't striking me as a good guy. So, yeah, my personal view is that he's an equivalent of the twins' dad. Sees cheating from absolutely nothing and views himself as the tired nice guy.

It was thus pretty disturbing to see a sequence from his POV turn bright and colorful. Really drives home that he sees these kids as a way to drive his revenge forward. It's also pretty obvious that he's the hunter in the fairytale sequence. He gives Tian Chen an idea to use his powers to take revenge, so he's the guy handing out a bow and an arrow. The gossiping birds being stand-ins for neighbors felt obvious, but I wasn't fully expecting the neighbor who called it in to be one of the gossipers. But so very exploitable for a certain nepo baby of a certain game executive, no?

Wonder why the neighbor was Enemy Number One. It feels a teeny bit convenient that he's simultaneously apparently the alleged ring leader and such an easy target.

Definitely did not expect Tian Chen to be using Xixi for revenge like that. Possessing her to steal her super empathy power somehow felt much more disturbing than my initial theory of him just being able to absorb powers.

Anyways, ep 10 nearly ended me. Not just with that bit of horror but you know. Its ending. I knew not to get my hopes up, given the Romeo and Juliet references! And yet I still expected that maybe with this insight provided by Xixi, maybe it was going to work out? But then again, maybe Lu Guang and Qiao Liang survived the explosion. No bodies, so shouldn't expect confirmed character death in movies!

Or I could be on copium. Maybe we'll spend the entire next season on Cheng Xiaoshi obsessively trying to prevent his friends' deaths after strong implications of Lu Guang trying hard to save him. Maybe given the whole talk of death being inevitable, the timeline could be insisting on either offing him or Lu Guang. What if this is what the imagery of the opening and ending were building up to?

Ending referenced that one movie where the protagonist built a time machine to try to save his wife. Opening has imagery of Cheng Xiaoshi reaching but never quite catching. Hell, there was glass when he was trying to catch Lu Guang. I thought this might have been the case but definitely was side-stepping the implications for as long as possible ngl.

Also, I'd have laughed about my spitball guess of the studio promo photos coming back as a chekhov's gun being correct. But that was a pretty serious scene.
