Sometimes I brainrot about these two a little too much. It usually occurs when someone likes my og post about them💀

One of my (least) favorite things to see is when people portray Teensy Queen as a damsel in distress. Like yeah, she's feminine n stuff and probably doesn't like getting dirty, but like, gurl whoops ass. She will go out of her way to beat up people who hurt the people closest to her.

And since Teensy Ray is kinda a super massive pushover out in public, you could imagine that occurs a lot.

Teensy Ray (despite being incredibly embarrassed) loves how she stands up for him. He's gotten nicer treatment from the public since they came out as together. Half of the public respect him b/c his ability to basically rizz up one of the most legitimate lines of royalty. The other half is just scared of Queen, so they leave him alone💀.

Don't mess with her or her boyfailure malewife. You won't escape with any unbroken bones and intact joints.

Also, thanks to my homie @supgoddo, the name of the bird species on Teensy Ray's head is called a whiffler. This one in particular is named Whiffles.

Thank you for this prompt! Jaster and Plo both have similar energy so I can definitely see the appeal of the pairing. I actually have a Jas/Plo fic in my bookmarks right now I have been meaning to read. So I was really excited to explore this. I have decided to have this take place in an AU where Jaster is brought back by the force at the beginning of the clone wars. Jaster and Plo were a couple while he was alive and this is them reuniting after the years since his death. I hope you enjoy it!

Plo looked up as Wolffe walked into his office wearing an oxygen mask and couldn’t help but smile slightly. His troopers were such amazing people. They had insisted once they found out his quarters had the option to change the gasses that he make himself comfortable while inside. They argued he wore his mask all the time outside the room, he should be able to be comfortable in his own quarters and they didn’t mind doing it just for the short stretched they would need to come in and speak to him.

“Sir. We have a vessel requesting permission to land on the ship. It’s… well it’s the Slave One, Prime’s ship. We don’t know the person flying it but they claim Boba is with them and they mean us no harm.” Wolffe spoke up once Plo had turned from his desk to give him his attention.

“Boba?” He asked not sure he had ever met anyone by that name. “Prime’s son. He was the first clone, unaltered so he aged normally. Prime raised him as his son even if he didn’t consider the rest of us his kin. He was on Geonosis when Prime was killed. We worry this might be a trap. Boba used to be close with some of us command batchers and a few of the Alphas but as we outgrew him he got bitter. I can’t image he’s here because he missed me.” Wolffe explained and Plo rose from his seat and grabbed his mask, fitting it over his face with practiced movements. 

“If they do come in peace we can not just turn away your brother. You and I will greet them n the hanger and if they have less savory motives, we will stop them from causing any harm to our crew.” Plo said calmly. The force wasn’t sending him any warnings about this course of action, but it also wasn’t around to hold its children’s hands. He hoped that this young Boba was simply seeking familiar people after such a loss and whoever was with him was just trying to help a lost child return to their family. 

Wolffe gave the order to allow the ship to land once he and Plo were in the hanger with a squad of brothers Plo insisted not hover. “We do not want to instigate a fight that was never coming Wolffe. I respect your worries and fears, if Boba already doesn’t trust us then having so many warriors on edge waiting for him to make any wrong move will only lead to him lashing out from his own fear and causing the reaction you expected. We will give them the same trust they are expending to us in coming to a ship full of what he might see as enemies.” He said crossing his arms and hiding his hands in the sleeves of his robes and Wolffe had given the crew some close-by tasks instead. 

As the ramp lowered Plo couldn’t help the smile at the sight of the boy that had Wolffe so on edge. He was smaller than Plo had been expecting even with the warning he had aged normally and his hair was a fluffy mess of half curls. He was just a child and no matter what happened Plo wouldn’t let harm come to him by his men. He couldn’t. However, he was soon distracted by the guardian whose hand Boba was holding. 

“Jaster? How is this possible?” He murmured in shock as Jaster and Boba walked down to greet them. Boba’s eyes flickered around the room on edge but he seemed to relax a little when he saw there wasn’t a firing squad waiting for them, just as Plo had hoped.

“Plo, Riduur, it has been too long, hasn’t it? Trust me, it’s a hell of a story but first things first, Boba?” Jaster looked down at his grandson who bit his lip and stepped forward towards Plo carefully and reached for his pocket. Wolffe tensed beside him and almost reached for his blaster but Plo put a claw on his arm. 

“Peace Wolffe.” He murmured and knelt to accept the data stick from Boba. 

“This is some… stuff… I sliced from Kamino. About the inhibitor chips they put inside the other clones and also recordings of them meeting with Dooku and Sideous. I think there’s enough face shown in one of the frames for you to figure out who Sideous is. Just… be careful. He can hurt the vod’e.” He murmured quietly, unsurely. Plo was celebrating internally at what this sort of intel could do to save the men he had come to see as sons if what boba said was true and the force was ringing out with a feeling that told him it was. 

“Thank you, Boba. I will make sure this gets dealt with immediately once you and your… Ba’buir I believe the word is, are settled into your rooms. You both are planning on staying, correct?” Plo asked and Jaster nodded. 

“Boba and I will share a room please and we will be honored to stay in your care Riduur.” He said and Boba stepped back to cling to Jaster’s arm again while Wolffe made a face. 

“General… care to explain? I thought Jedi couldn’t get married?” Wolffe asked and Plo chuckled. 

“A common misconception. We are allowed and even encouraged to love and bond with others. However, we are not allowed to enter into relationships that will compromise our duty to the force or that are based around possessive ideals. Mandalorian courtships are based on equality and it is expected for them to have other ties that may come above their tie to their spouse. I can not swear to their creed which expects you to put the Mand’alor’s call at the highest level but marriage is perfectly fine.” He explained easily and he laughed at Wolffe’s sudden devious look. 

“Yes, commander, you may go call Bly and tease him over his crush on his general. However, I would encourage you to remember that we are in the middle of a war and any relationship a General has with a subordinate would be inappropriate. Not that they can’t love each other, but I know that no Jedi would act on those feelings until they were no longer in a position of power that might interfere with a healthy relationship between them and their beloved.” He pointed out “Oh, it wasn’t Bly I was planning on teasing sir. But thank you for the reminder. Hopefully, with the intel the Runt brought us the war could be over sooner rather than later.” Wolffe said and Boba growled. “I’m older than you and I could kick your sheb!” He said and Wolffe met his gare head-on. 

“Then why don’t you come to the training rooms and prove it, Runt?” He said making Plo and Jaster roll their eyes at the same time. 

“They really are a bunch of Jangos. I thought one was hard enough to deal with, now there’s over a million? Maker save us.” Jaster sighed and Plo finally couldn’t resist any longer stepping forward and pulling Jaster into a gentle mirshmure'cya. 

“I missed you. I am sorry I couldn’t save Jango from the pain that followed him after your death. I should have taken him in. Ni cera ner cyare.” Plo murmured quietly but Jaster just sighed.

“It was not your fault. We were all being played from the very beginning in ways that no one could have seen. All that matters is that the force is giving us another chance. I’ve made peace with my son and he is at peace now in the manda. We will right these wrongs together and build a stronger safer future for the aliit we have now.” He said seriously and Plo pulled away so they could both watch Boba tackle Wolffe and the pair start wrestling in the hanger floor. 

“But you can start making amends for Jango by dealing with them. They’re your issue now.” Jaster said walking away while Plo huffed fondly. 

“I think I can accept that.” He said and finally, he really had hope for what the future would hold for all of them.

why the prolife argument makes no sense

I think it’s hilarious how right wing “facts don’t care about your feelings” activists are almost always pro-life. The argument against abortion as an accessible form of birth control is 100% an emotional appeal, and here’s why:

1. “You have no right to kill your fetus. It’s not your body, the baby is an individual and has the right to life.”: 

Of course, all embryos are human individuals, separate from their mothers. They have their own unique DNA composition, and are definitely alive. But do they deserve the right to life, which would make abortion equivalent to murder?

Pro-lifers are largely okay with IVF, an industry that throws away and destroys millions of fertilized embryos every day. In-vitro fertilization is an uncertain science, so couples are advised to fertilize multiple eggs in the labs in case the first few don’t work out. If a couple succeeds and have extra embryos left, they have the option to continue paying to store them in the lab, donate them to medical research, or destroy them. 

Anti-abortion bills always have exceptions for IVF clinics. Republican, pro-life lawmakers have literally had children via IVF. If a pro-lifer ever tells you that life begins at conception and that every embryo has the right to life, know that it’s bullshit. They don’t care about an industry that kills more embryos in a day than Planned Parenthood does in a year.

2. There are two possible responses to this.

A) “Fine, let’s ban IVF.” Out of all the conservative groups in America, only one major group explicitly stands against IVF – the Catholic Church. The same organization that condemns sex before marriage, homosexuality, divorce, masturbation/porn, the use of condoms, getting drunk or high, and tattoos. At this point, I’m assuming you understand that the Church’s ideas of morality are regressive, illogical, primitive, and… make life extremely boring. IVF is a wonderful science that brings children to parents who want them all over the world and is in no way a bad thing.

B) “Fine. Maybe not at conception, but at [x] months, it’s a baby.” This is the point where most conservatives start arguing about the point up till you should be allowed to have an abortion. Two weeks? Six weeks? Three months? Unfortunately, there is no scientific way to determine when an embryo is no longer just a clump of cells and now a human being with rights.

Since pro-lifers are okay with IVF, we can assume they don’t believe in the right to life at conception. How about the heartbeat theory? At six weeks, the fetus develops a heartbeat, and proponents argue that it is the point at which the fetus is no longer simply a fetus, but a human being. However, having a heartbeat doesn’t necessarily mean you have the right to life.

Legally, if you are brain dead, you’re… dead. You no longer have the right to life, which is why organ donation is possible. All this while having a heartbeat, so that’s clearly not a viable hallmark of an individual that inherently has the right to life. So while it's true that at six weeks a baby develops (what is flimsily termed as) a heartbeat, that doesn't somehow give it rights to life that it did not have before. So far, I haven’t come across any other sensible theories as to “when” an embryo deserves the right to life. It’s a lousy concept to begin with, as blurry as the legal definition of adulthood – not all 18+ year olds are mature and nothing fundamentally changes in a person once the clock strikes midnight. Similarly, embryo development is a process. There’s really no point at which you can logically claim it’s transformed into a human being with rights.

3. Evidently, there are two extremes — life begins at conception, vs life doesn’t begin until birth. 

There’s no “scientific backing” for a point in between, but you’ll never find a pro-choice advocate arguing in favor of the latter, because it’s called an extreme for a reason. The best way to deal with the abortion issue at this point is to leave the science and technicalities alone, and think about the people who are actually getting abortions.

4. “Use protection and you won’t get pregnant”: 

Protection is never 100% reliable. Plus: if two people are irresponsible enough to have unprotected sex, what makes you think they’re responsible enough to have and raise children? The number of children growing up with unqualified, immature, abusive, or neglectful parents automatically disproves the theory that parenthood brings about a sense of personal responsibility. Being raised by bad parents inflicts often irreparable damage on children. Treating babies as some sort of “divine punishment” for irresponsible sex, instead of human beings who deserve a stable upbringing, is harmful on both an individual and collective scale. The data on irresponsible, neglectful, or abusive childhoods/single parent childhoods speaks for itself. In the quest to punish irresponsible parents, most of the damage is inflicted on their children, which in turn impacts the generation that will lead us forward into the future. It is in our best interests to raise as many mature, healthy, and productive young adults as possible, and while not every child born into these circumstances live lives of mental health/psychological/intimacy issues and criminal behavior, a large majority do. Growing up with bad parents is simply not ideal for an impressionable child’s wellbeing. Quality of life > quantity of life.

5. “Don’t have sex if you don’t want to have children.”:

Unhelpful, unrealistic, and telling of no real desire to solve the problem at hand. Telling people not to have sex unless they deliberately intend to have children is like telling people not to smoke, drink too much, or eat unhealthily. People will have sex. What are we going to do to make sure the sex doesn’t lead to unplanned pregnancies?

6. “Okay but what about xyz who had an abortion and has regretted it ever since?”: 

Abortion is a result of unplanned and unfortunate circumstances. Whether it’s because the doctor tells you your baby will be stillborn or born with a fatal illness, or if you were raped, or if you had sex with your boyfriend during your first year of college and found yourself pregnant: these are bad situations, and no matter what you do, there’s always a chance you’ll look back and wish you’d done things differently. Kept the baby? Well, maybe you’ll find that the baby brought newfound purpose to your life. But maybe the baby added an additional financial strain to your life and forced you to quit your job, leaving you destitute and homeless with no way to feed it. Alternatively, if you got an abortion, maybe you end up being able to finish college and fulfil all your goals... or maybe you regret that decision for the rest of your life. There’s no way to guarantee that you’re making the right decision, but being informed about your options, and having options available, makes it more likely that you do. That’s why we are advocating for informed choice. Whether they eventually choose to keep the baby or have an abortion, give women the time and resources to truly evaluate their options and do what’s best for them in their own circumstances.

7. “Why kill the baby? Put it up for adoption.”: 

The adoption system is known for being isolating, exploitative, and unhealthy for children growing up in it. Being adopted into a great family can create healthy, happy young adults. But far too many kids don’t get that opportunity, and pay the price for it. In 2019, 122,216 children in the US adoption system were waiting to be adopted. Young people who age-out of the foster care system without being adopted are over-represented in rates of incarceration, suicide and substance abuse.

Granted, for some kids it’s a better alternative to the families they would have grew up in, but again: it’s an unideal situation. An unideal situation that can very easily be avoided with abortion. Why would a person choose 9 months of labor, plus all the emotional labor of having to give your child away to a system that more likely than not will eat them alive, knowing they will grow up asking themselves why they weren’t good enough for their birth parents, when the person could… simply not have that baby and not invite all that pain?

8. “It doesn’t matter, no one has the right to take another life.”:

Here’s another way of looking at the abortion question: the fetus is in a position where its existence impinges on its mother’s bodily integrity, and it stays in that position until the point of viability (at which it could plausibly survive outside the mother’s body) at about 24 weeks. One person’s bodily integrity will always override another person’s right to life; this is a fundamental truth. Otherwise, we would have mandatory kidney and liver donations. People all over the world are dying due to a lack of kidneys or other organs - why should we be allowed to keep both of ours when one of them could save someone’s life? 

Let’s say I caused a car accident that resulted in someone needing a kidney donation. It’s my fault they’re in that position, and I was negligent - should I be legally obligated to give mine up?

If the idea of being forced to donate one of your kidneys sounds violating, you’re closer to understanding why forcing someone to have a baby is such a barbaric thing to do. Even if the risk is small - kidney donations have a death rate of about 0.03% while childbirth is at 0.02% in the US - it’s still wrong to force something so invasive and risky onto someone against their will. Additionally, there are many complications that can arise from pregnancy short of death, just like there can be consequences to living your life with only one kidney down the line.

To summarize:

It is definitively not in anyone’s best interests to force unwilling and unprepared parents to have an unwanted child. It’s also not a good idea to get too deep into the technicalities of when an embryo is a fetus or when you’re allowed or not allowed to abort it. We need to focus on the women who are actually getting abortions. Having a baby is a huge life adjustment. Keep it, and you’re taking on an 18-year responsibility. You are responsible for another person’s wellbeing, and your life will never be the same. 

In three months (about 12 weeks), a potential mother can: find out that they’re pregnant (missing periods is extremely common. A lot of women only find out they’re pregnant at two months, or 8 weeks), think about their financial, professional, social, romantic, or whatever situation and figure out what would be the best course of action, and then actually get the abortion if she chooses to. 12 weeks is enough, 12 weeks is reasonable, 12 weeks is humane. Nobody wants third-trimester abortions unless there are serious, life threatening complications.

The pro-life argument is reduced down to: well, abortion is bad! That's a little innocent baby. It didn't hurt anyone. Well, we agree: abortion is bad. It’s not a good thing, it’s not something people want to have to do. Nobody looks forward to giving or receiving an abortion, it’s physically painful and often heart-breaking. But is it as bad as forcing a woman to go through hours of excruciating, potentially life-threatening labor for a child she doesn't even want to have? Is it as bad as enforcing serious health, financial, emotional, social, and professional risks on a woman who knows she is in no way ready to give a baby the life it deserves? Is it worse than having to drop out of school with no way to feed your child? Worse than having to give your baby away to an adoption center, where they’re likely to join the hundreds of thousands of unadopted children? There are evils, and then there are greater evils. Abortion may not be ideal, but for some people, it's the best option out there. When broken down, the pro-life argument is nothing but sad, provocative videos & descriptions of surgical abortions intended to pull at your heartstrings. But they’re sometimes the best option for the mother and her unborn baby. Nobody is pro-abortion — we’re pro-choice.

Back Once Again

Andrea has been having all sorts of medical problems since we got married, although in my defence, most of them pre-date the marriage. We've tried lots of medical avenues of improvement, and they have proven either unsatisfactory or completely ineffective. We have reached the point where we're desperate and vulnerable enough to try "alternative" methods.

The man who installed our new bedroom recommended a chiropractor who gives regular, free talks on his approach to "wellness" or whatever, so we said we'd have a listen. What's the worst that can happen?

The opening paragraph of the Wikipedia entry for “chiropractic” summarises my position: 

“

Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine mostly concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine. Proponents claim that such disorders affect general health via the nervous system, through vertebral subluxation, claims which are demonstrably false. The main chiropractic treatment technique involves manual therapy, especially spinal manipulation therapy (SMT), manipulations of other joints and soft tissues. Its foundation is at odds with mainstream medicine, and chiropractic is sustained by pseudoscientific ideas such as subluxation and "innate intelligence" that reject science. Chiropractors are not medical doctors.

It was dark and rainy, very much like the opening scene of a movie which ends with a couple being torn to pieces in a basement surrounded by human-dog hybrids howling and screeching as our blood summons the dark lord of chaos. It was that kind of night. The fact that the chiropractor seems to have been named after serial killers did not help the mood. Clonmel is full of chiropractors (probably), but our man was in Kilworth, a boutique village in north Co. Cork next to an army training ground. There is no reason for anyone to ever go to Kilworth. We went there a few nights ago.

The clinic is in a lovely building with large arches in the front which makes it look like a modern cafe or art gallery from the front. When you go in, everything is very professional. I had to go to the bathroom, which was very clean and at the ideal temperature. 

There were five of us: all women except for me. We were offered tea and coffee and there was inspirational music playing in the background. So far, so preparing-lambs-for-the-slaughter.

Ed Bates greeted us individually, shook our hands individually and invited us into a little room with the correct number of chairs which were way too close to a flipboard. He gave a talk about how the spinal cord sends nerve fibres from your spine to various organs and parts of your body and if they get interrupted, the signals become sub-optimal. It’s the patented alternative-medicine pitch which comprises 40% obvious common sense, 40% specious arguments and 20% either irrelevant garbage or just total horseshit: 40% “diet and exercise are vital to a healthy lifestyle”; 40% “if the electric signals are interrupted down here, for instance, that’s going to cause kidney problems”; 20% “none of my children have ever been on a course of antibiotics”.

He showed us the dawn of a new era of chiropractic treatment: a small electric hammer. This hammer could do a much better job, he claimed, than manual adjustment. Remember this hammer. It’s going to be relevant later.

He asked for a volunteer, but instead he got me. He told me to put my arm out and resist him. He tried to push it down, with little success. Then he told me to tuck my chin into my neck, and pushed my arm down again. This time he managed it. He said this was evidence that moving your spine in a certain way can have dramatic effects on musculature. A cynical person could counter that it might also be evidence that someone can push harder the second time.

To show us how the treatments are administered, he took his receptionist and placed her face down on a padded table and got her to move her arms and neck around to see how putting stress on various vertebrae affected the symmetry of her spine, as expressed in how close together her feet were. He said if the feet were not together, this was evidence that the spine was not aligned properly.  A cynical person could counter that it might also be evidence that someone can move your feet very slightly to the right or to the left.

To be clear, I am not saying that this man is a charlatan. I do not have access to the information I would need to make that judgement. He seemed sincere and he seems to actually give a shit about getting people to live healthy lives. More importantly, this talk was free of charge and there was absolutely no hard sell afterwards. In fact, I don’t think there was even a soft sell. There was no suggestion at all that any of us “should” book an appointment. There was not so much as a suggestive glance from the receptionist in this direction. This is a massive tick in the “not a charlatan” box which may outweigh everything else. 

What I am saying is that the evidence he presented on the night to demonstrate the effectiveness of chiropractic medicine could be easily fabricated. 

After he had done a few spinal tricks with the receptionist, he asked if one of us wanted to have a go, so I pushed my wife forward. 

“Just lie face down on the table there,” he said. 

“This is not the date night I had planned,” I said. 

He apologised and said it would be over soon enough and we could go back to our date then. He’s definitely a nice guy and he definitely has a sense of humour.

During the spinal examination, he mentioned a number of possible problems that Andrea has been diagnosed with. He was not shotgunning, as I was watching for that. He was also not responding to cues from Andrea, as there was no way she could know exactly which vertebra is connected to which organ in the chiropractic system. The only thing he said in the entire exam that could be suspicious is “you’re not getting enough sleep”, which must surely apply to everyone. Everything else was specific to Andrea, and other common problems people might have were not mentioned. If there’s some trick here (and there might be), I am unaware of it. 

I might trash chiropractic medicine and alternative therapies in general but I’m not going to lie about what happened. 

Afterwards, he continued the theme of the faults of general medical practice, and how doctors are overly reliant on pharmaceuticals, and how children are increasingly being put on drugs at a younger age, and how this is terrible, and so on. 

He said: “If the only tool you have is a hammer, then everything looks like a nail.”

I said: “Dude, the only tool you have is a hammer.”

He stopped for a few moments and looked at the little hammer in his hand. Then he said, “I should probably find a different way to say that”.

Then we were done. Before we left, Andrea booked an appointment with a view to getting a treatment of spinal adjustments because she believes it will help her where medical science has failed. Maybe it will.

I get terrible migraines which can cripple me for days. A few years ago, I was living with a Korean family, and the patriarch offered to do some acupuncture on me as I was crawling around on the floor moaning. He put some pins in various parts of me and after about twenty minutes, the migraine was gone. It was completely gone. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before. I asked him how it worked and he gave me an explanation that was definitely horseshit. 

I still think acupuncture is bullshit, but I am not going to lie about something that happened to me personally. I just have to trust the science (even if it might be wrong) and remember that the plural of anecdote is not data, even if the anecdote happened to me. 

If acupuncture helped me, why can’t spinal adjustments help Andrea?

Who the heck is my muse anyway:

Mitsuru Kirijo is one of the main and playable characters of the series Persona, in particular, P3, where she makes her first debut. Born into a wealthy family well-known around Japan and beyond, she is the only heiress of the company, based on economy and electronics, named the Kirijo Group. After undergoing various experiments during childhood from a secret branch of said company, all about cognitive science, she awakened to her other self or Persona to protect her father and kept doing that ever since. She, together with other users chosen in the high school of the city, creates the battling group SEES, whose hideout is Iwatodai dorm, and she makes of fighting shadows her true and ultimate goal, in order to eliminate their nest, the Tower of Tartarus, and the Dark Hour, the hidden time in which Shadows hunt down common people, making them victim of what the public knows as Apathy Syndrome.   

Points of interest:

1)  Her strong devotion towards her goal and the figure of her Father, that she adores and defends, is also her greatest weakness. The girl’s demeanor might seem icy, perfect and basically untouchable and gracious in its entirety, but in reality, Mitsuru happens to be a very fragile person, with phobias, fears and a great predisposition to telling countless lies to her companions and dormmates. 2)  Being educated to a certain etiquette, Mitsuru is shown as a lady-like beauty, with interest in reading, logic-based activities, having tea while reading a book and fleuret competitions. It all has to do with her upbringing that, although strictly sheltered and protective during the first years - given she had to succeed her father one day as CEO of the corporation, through marriage - educated her to delicate and elegant manners since forever. She is never vulgar and has a particular soft spot for refined food and sweets. Despite this, however, Mitsuru has always shown another, wilder side of her personality, especially when it came to education: from climbing up trees and escaping the cares of maids when being just a little child, to desiring to avoid rules, arranged marriage and judgment of old men deciding of her life and body by running away on her motorcycle, somewhere far where to just be herself. Or also enjoying junk food and breaking some rules, from time to time. 

3)  Although not having had the chance to grow up together with her mother, because of the woman’s degenerative and odd illness that forced her outside of the house and Mitsuru’s life, the girl is extremely caring towards youngsters and people in need. She is also founder of the secret SEES, a club disguised as a mere afterschool students organization that, in reality, is linked to the supernatural; for Mitsuru, and all the other younger members of this Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad, there’s a mission to be finally resolved: the elimination of the Dark hour, the hidden hour that after midnight, every day, turns normal people into coffins and lets Shadows loose - creatures capable of attacking people, causing even Apathy syndrome to spread around. Given the role to Arisato, the transfer student with the Power of the Wild Card, she takes the job of a secondary member - together with her Persona; first Penthesilea, then Artemisia. She acts as a sort of mother, inside of the dorm; caring but firm, Mitsuru

Child-like curiosity is often at fault when dealing with Mitsuru on relaxing occasions; being raised in a sheltered environment, she truly desires to finally and fully experience the “real world” as much as she can - one way or another. Under the icy façade of the imperious and firm cold girl she exhibits when surrounded by people who do not know her well enough, there lies a rather naive and curious girl - not that different from others of the same age, except for heritage. One thing she tries to not get too fixated about, not with her oldest friends - for she too wants to live like a normal girl and have fun like the others do. And so, she takes the risks and proposes activities, free afternoon outdoors... whatever that’d keep her relaxed and at ease with her dormmates. 

LOVE ISSUES. Certainly less angsty than a certain marriage one, but I’ve always desired for girls talks threads - that did rarely came at all here. It’s a shame, for I love the idea of Mitsuru at least partaking in them, not necessarily being the subject to discuss; she smells affection, you can not fool her... she will know and she’ll surely desire to hear more about it. It is an inevitable part of her character and story that I, as a mun, can not ignorance if I truly desire to write and be satisfied with my own take on Mitsuru. No matter how much I do, to be honest, hate it -- but at the same time find extremely interesting to explore. Arranged business marriages are not that rare in Japan and Mitsuru is, from the longest time, victim  - for a greater good, of course, of all that mess too. She hates the man for how he treats her but, for the Group’s sake, decides to engage in dates, accompany him and promise to one day marry the rich heir. Discussing, talking about this matter is, from what I’ve seen so far, really interesting, it offers development between our muses and always leads to a bit of angst which is always welcome.

ANGST. Can’t spell Mitsuru without angst... right? Ahah, she’s complicated, fragile and a good liar. Stubborn too, at times - no matter what she does preach often around the dorm, and she had no intention of letting other even help her carrying or sharing the self-inflicted burden and family sins she made hers since mere childhood. This results in fights - just like with Yukari in-game, and generally to see Mitsuru as a sort of superior human being, with no time to dedicate to others or even herself at some point, too busy fighting her own personal war. That’s sad, and what makes it worse is that she often does not realize it - thus leading to incomprehension. Always interesting to explore.
