Hello everyone!!!

CONTINOUS SLEEP. I woke up and locked in for a bit until I had my first class. My mom came back from work and started cooking up some lunch. WE HAD MUSHU MUSHU NOODLES. MY ABSOLUTE ALLL TIME FAVORITE COMFORT MEAL EVER. Auntie Phyllis also came for lunch so that was nice and she brought cream pan 🍓🥐. It was so bomb. Mom and Auntie Phyllis left and we all decided to go to the beach again but this time in swimsuits. So me, mei, and Esther went to the beach 🏖️. We dove into the water 🌊. The best most refreshing and beautiful feeling. I missed the feeling of diving into the waves and feeling the salt air around me. Oh how I love my home. I am so incredibly blessed. After the beach, I showered and felt squeaky clean. Dad drove Esther and I back to school and we listened to TSwizzle on the way back 🎶 . When I got back to school, I met a bunch of friends at Sunset Rec and we played Spike Ball and ate Pizza 🍕 and Caprisuns 🧃 . It was lots of fun. After, I sat with Joccie bear and Celliebellie in Covel until I met with Yasmine to eat cafe 1919. We grubbed and yapped. She is always a vibe. And then we saw Rynnie poo who joined us. Then we left to meet other friends to fundraise. I left with Chlobo and we met NattyFatty to lock in. Celliebellie joined later. We did not lock in. Chlobo got quite a distracting and chaotic phone call. Anyways, it was fun. I love my friends. WHAT A WONDERFUL LIFE I LIVE. I am not getting much sleep tonight though. OH WHALE 🐳

The lockdown in several countries has prompted many public places to shut down. Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium is one such place that has been closed. But that didn’t mean residents of the aquarium were left without any visitors. Adorable little Rockhopper penguins visited the aquarium and made netizens fall in love with them. But the adventures of these delightful birds is far from over. Another clip, posted on Twitter by the aquarium, gives a glimpse of a wonderful little resident of the South Pole visiting some citizens of the North Pole.

The clip shows the little Rockhopper penguin, Wellington, strolling in front of the Beluga whale tank in a curious manner. The whales Kayavak, Mauyak and Annik, simultaneously stare inquisitively at Wellington trying to figure out what it was. The whales swim around and one even tries to boop the penguin but squishes its head against the tank in stead.

The confused penguin almost looks like the little kid in ‘Baby’s Day Out’ who is trying to figure out what sort of animals were inside the tanks since whales and penguins live on literally opposite poles of the globe.

Asexual Awareness Week October 21-27

So I’m going to try and make a little post for every day of asexual awareness week just for fun since I’m ace and this is super important to me!

Asexuality is different for every ace. Personally, I identify as asexual and panromantic. I don’t really experience sexual attraction whatsoever and don’t have that much of an interest in it. I don’t really get legit crushes because of this. I consider myself panro because I do experience romantic attraction, but I have a bit of a preference for femme individuals. However, my longest crush was on a cis boy, so that’s why I don’t consider myself homoromantic. And I seriously don’t really care what someone identifies as when I crush on them. But when I crush on someone, I just want another best friend with romantic benefits.

I go to a small high school in the middle of a really conservative part of Texas, so as you can guess, not a lot of people understand what ace is. My mom told me that ace wasn’t a legitimate identity when I first came out. It’s not the norm to be ace where I am and most people don’t know it’s perfectly acceptable.

Asexual awareness week is important to me because of these things. There are more aces than you think out there and they need to know that their identity is valid! We are real and we are out there! Make sure we know that.
