This is by no means a “look at me” or “tummy Tuesday” post or a “thirst” thing cause Christ knows there ain’t a thing to be thirsty about 😂 More of just getting something off my chest that I’ve been struggling with. I know, Garvi getting real and personal? Ewwww just stick with writing and hands lol.

But in all seriousness I’ve fought with myself for a lot of years hating the way I looked. The way my body looks. I’ve tried changing myself more times than I can count that I almost got lost and forgot who I was. I always idolized the way other people looked, hated myself for not being like them.

And here lately between things in life and my feelings about myself, the anger built so high that I saw nothing but red every day and was looking for reasons to pick fights just to let it out. To find release.

But then I finally centered my soul and remembered what’s important and how I need to properly go about things. After working through it and putting pieces of the puzzle together and learning to fucking let go of all the negative bullshit I finally forgave myself. Forgave myself for all of my mistakes, for all of my choices and habits. I forgave myself for hating myself.

I can finally say I don’t hate my own body, but neither do I accept it. I’ve decided to care about it and better it. To build myself to what I want to be, not because of other people and what they think. But for my own happiness. So I can finally face myself in the mirror and say “damn”.

If you’ve gotten this far I appreciate you reading into my ramble and outburst. Know that you are beautiful, sweet, kind, caring, generous, important, special, wanted and adored. You matter 🖤 Don’t set yourself to other people’s standards. Set yourself where YOU want to be. Be what YOU want you to be.

Pet Appreciation

Hey, so with everything that's going on in this country that I unfortunately live in (America) and seeing so many adorable fur babies and it helping me to feel a little better, thought I'd jump on the bandwagon.

This is my mini cockapoo Caesar (nicknamed Caesar Bease/r) he's 3 and he's a pain in the ass sometimes, but we (read I) still love him. He's like my emotional support dog, he's always right there whenever I'm not feeling the greatest. He's right there to give me love and snuggles and he really is the goodest boy

This is our calico Nala (nicknamed Nana), unknown age, but she's probably like around 2 at this point. She took a little getting used to when we first got her. She kept stealing food from the kitchen sink😂. But it was only due to her previous owner neglecting her😭. Very snuggly, good kitty vibes, little crazy, but what cat isn't?

And lastly, we have Uni, our tabby (I guess? I know more about dogs than cats, lol). She's a wild card and whenever she and Nana get together, it's wraps. They play wrestle each other so roughly. She's a good kitty too, likes being held like a baby, and strong purrs🥺

That wraps up this pet show and tell appreciation. I know things are scary right now, heck I'm terrified, but we've got this. Just gotta take it one day at a time. watching the Addams Family Value (my favorite movie in the live action series) and honestly I love how Mortica and Gomez adore their children and their macabre and twisted ways of playing but even they can tire of their kids trying to kill their new baby brother. I don't know there's something really refreshing about seeing parents who do love and adore their children but even they can get tired of their antics. Personal Update

3 weeks into finally dealing with issues in a way that agrees with me I’m down 8 pounds. Not the direction I’m wanting to go but I’ve noticed some changes in my capabilities if no physical changes. Not as much in mental health but that takes time right?

Having dealt with a lot of pent up anger, sadness, grief and trauma for so long, it’s incredibly liberating transferring those emotions and feelings into motivation to push myself past my limits. Life isn’t easy but it’s worth trudging through it, no matter how long it takes.

Having dealt with depression and suicidal thoughts, tendencies and attempts I want to tell who ever reading this to please find a way to keep going. Find something, anything to grip on to. Life isn’t all sunshine and rainbows and happiness. But there are plenty of good times and experiences. You just have to wait until you find them. And it is so incredibly worth it.
