I highly recommend “Felix and Meira,” a French-Canadian film about a married Hasidic Jewish woman’s relationship with a single, secular man. It’s beautifully filmed, the music is exquisite and the main character is played by the same actress who plays Libbi Shtisel in Shtisel. It’s on Amazon Prime.

Do you have any Israeli/jewish movies or shows you would recommend?
Shababnikim! I don’t know why everyone is sleeping on this show. It is HILARIOUS.
Obviously Shtisel is a fan favorite and for good reason…just so well done.
We just watched Tehran over quarantine and that was amazing.
Ummmm. I don’t watch a ton of tv - Israeli or otherwise. If anyone has any recs, let me know!
((Until then, y’all should find a way to watch Shababnikim because I’m genuinely laughing thinking about it while I type this soooo…))

Are you staying home from work/home? - Staying at home and working/chilling. My main job is writing so whenever I am not writing fanfic, I am writing for work.
If you are staying home, who is with you? - My family. We are a total of 11 humans and a puppy living together these days.
Are you a homebody?- Mostly. I only get out for groceries.
An event that you were looking forward to that got cancelled- Moving in with my best friend in a different city! We had such plans and now this uncertainty has pushed everything to God-knows-when. Not to mention, I worry about their health incessantly.
What movies did you watch recently?- I have been binge-watching my old favorites, a combination of cringe and class: Darling, Mirchi, Baahubali 1, Saaho, Raghavendra, Kshanam, Main Hoon Naa, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Baghban, Manto, Dhanak, The Angrez, Raees, Chennai Express, and Veer Zaara. You can tell I am a Shahrukh Khan and Prabhas fan!
What shows are you watching?- Finished Special Ops, The Family Man, Kalifat, Bhaukaal, Kaafir, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and Gossip Girl. Starting Shtisel, Unorthodox, and Jane The Virgin.
What music are you listening to?- Classical music and pop music of the 80s. Can’t get enough of Puccini, Verdi, Rachmaninoff, and Eric Esenvalds. Also can’t get enough of Tracy Chapman and Badly Drawn Boy.
What are you reading?- Just finished reading The Pakistani Bride by Bapsi Sidhwa. Very difficult read. especially as my own family lived through partition.
What are you doing for self care?- Baking breads, pizzas, desserts, and other goodies every other day. Also engaging in concept photography using my family members as models.
Tagging @ruminationsofaraven @bleedinknight @incurablescribbler @iwearplaids @heyifinallyhaveablog @avani008 and @parlegee to do this.

July was a weird month. It wasn’t bad in the least bit – I had plenty of days floating around the pool, I was finally able to hang out with friends from college whom I hadn’t seen since we left campus in March, went to the beach every week, celebrated one of my best friend’s 22nd birthday, AND got a new T-Swift album! At the same time, I was really busy with grad school this month, and I feel like my uncertainty for the rest of this year really set in.
I’m really content with the amount of books I read July, having read 14 in total! I feel like I’m really in my summer reading groove now – I find that I basically binge read 2-4 books every week between Thursday through Sunday! I read books that I LOVED this month, but I also had a few misses. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve read so many good books this year and a few that have become all-time favorites, but I don’t really have any big expectations for the second half of my 2020 reading year just because of the way life IRL is right now.
The Dare (Briar U #4) by Elle Kennedy | 4/5 Stars
The Dare was another fun installment in the Briar U series (review is coming in August!), but it wasn’t my absolute favorite in the series.
The Idea of You by Robinne Lee | 4.5
The Idea of You was so, so worth the read – if you need a scandalous romance this summer, pick this one up!
Playing with Matches by Hannah Orenstein | 5/5
I’ve been really excited to read Head Over Heels soon, so I figured I should try Hannah Orenstein’s debut, Playing with Matches, beforehand and I LOVED it!
Clap When You Land by Elizabeth Acevedo | 4/5
I’ve made it my mission to read all of Elizabeth Acevedo’s books this year, and I started with her latest release, Clap When You Land. It was such a unique story, and I loved Elizabeth Acevedo’s writing.
Have a Little Faith in Me by Sonia Hartl | 5/5
I want to put Have a Little Faith in Me in the hands of every reader looking for a summer camp read or YA book with tons of sex positivity and discussions.
From Sand and Ash by Amy Harmon | 4.5/5
Amy Harmon’s From Sand and Ash was such a unique historical fiction read set in Italy WWII, and it made me want to pick up more of Amy Harmon’s books.
Big Summer by Jennifer Weiner | 3/5
Unfortunately, Big Summer was one of the books that missed the mark for me this month. I definitely want to give another Jennifer Weiner book a try though – I’m thinking Mrs. Everything?
With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo | 5/5
With the Fire on High was beyond worth the hype! Again, Elizabeth Acevedo is such an incredible writer, and the book has such great representation and sheds light on an often untold story in YA contemporary.
Verity by Colleen Hoover | 4/5
I think I finally got back on the Colleen Hoover train this summer through Verity. It was such an interesting blend of romance and thriller that I hadn’t read before.
Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert | 3/5
I wanted to LOVE Get a Life, Chloe Brown because so many readers have been loving the companion sequel, Take a Hint, Dani Brown, but I just wasn’t that engaged in the story and couldn’t connect to the writing style.
Unorthodox by Deborah Feldman | 5/5
I watched the Netflix adaptation of Unorthodox back in March and loved it, so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the memoir – I think I was on my library’s digital holds list for almost two months. I devoured Unorthodox in less than two days, and I’m trying to get all my friends who have or haven’t watched the TV show to pick it up. Although I don’t read a ton of non-fiction, it’s easily one of the best memoirs I’ve ever read.
All Adults Here by Emma Straub | 5/5
I’m such a big fan of Emma Straub’s books, and I think her latest release, All Adults Here, might just be my favorite!
Exodus by Deborah Feldman | 4/5
Although there was a super long hold list for Unorthodox, Deborah Feldman’s follow-up, Exodus, had no wait list at all. Although I enjoyed Unorthodox way more, I thought Exodus was a really great portrayal of the author trying to learn more about her family and herself after leaving her religious community.
The Royal We by Heather Cocks & Jessica Morgan | 5/5 (reread)
I knew I had to reread The Royal We before picking up the sequel, The Heir Affair, and I loved this William and Kate-inspired contemporary even more this second time around.
I’m currently reading Anna K by Jenny Lee and I’m LOVING it! I’ve been in the mood for adult fiction lately (if you couldn’t tell), but I was finally able to get this book from my library and it couldn’t come at a more perfect time because its YA story has an adult fiction like writing style! I definitely see myself finishing it by the end of this weekend (or today if I push more homework aside, oops). I’m also currently read Of Curses and Kisses by Sandhya Menon…and I’m unfortunately thinking about DNF’ing this one. I’m still trying to hold on because I love Sandhya Menon’s other books so much and books about royals, but I just think this book isn’t for me. I haven’t picked it up since last week, and I know if I don’t pick it up by the end of the weekend, I likely won’t pick it up again.
The Babysitter’s Club (Netflix) – The Babysitter’s Club is literally everything I wanted in the Netflix adaptation of my childhood favorite series. It’s definitely geared towards a younger audience, but there was no cringe-ness whatsoever, and I loved the modern updates.
Special S1 (Netflix) – I watched Special for one of my grad school classes, but it quickly became one of my favorite shows I watched this summer! If you’re craving a comedy with short episodes, I can’t help but recommend this one!
Indian Matchmaking (Netflix) – I have a love-hate relationship with Netflix’s reality shows – some of them I’m absolutely obsessed with (I’ll be spending next Friday bingeing the new season of Selling Sunset ), but others I just can’t get into – but Indian Matchmaking was such a love for me!
The Kissing Booth 2 (Netflix) – I had some friends over this week for an outdoor movie night, and The Kissing Booth 2 was our movie of choice. I admit that I don’t remember the first film too well, but I think I liked this second installment better and I’m actually looking forward to the third movie!
Other things I watched: Hamilton (Disney+), Sleepless in Seattle (Netflix), Say Yes to the Dress S19 (TLC), #Anne Frank – Parallel Stories (Netflix), Outer Banks (Netflix)
Continued watching: Below Deck Mediterranean (Bravo), The West Wing (Netflix/NBC), Shtisel S2 (Netflix)

Jewish Summer Camp With Campfires, Crafts and No Lights Out
As if on cue, the first camper I meet is a guy named Josh: a nice, 27-year-old Jewish boy with kind eyes, a subtle smile and the same name as my husband, another nice Jewish boy, back home.
“Do you know where Malbec is?” asks this Josh, Josh Blake, rolling his eyes, and then his suitcase, over a wide dirt path flanked by rickety cabins that have been renamed for the weekend. (Malbec and Cabernet, for the men; Pinot Grigio and Rosé for the women; Raisins for all.) “I don’t want to walk all the way over there, if it’s back there …” he says, sounding not unlike Woody Allen.
I don’t blame him. The camp is desert-hot and dusty. And he’s ultimately here, he later admits over bagels, because his parents paid the all-inclusive $525 for him to be. They met on this very land, albeit half a mile away. “Talk about pressure!” he says, laughing.
Ilana Rosenberg, 31, sitting nearby, agrees. “My mother said, ‘Have fun! Go meet your Jewish husband!’ My sister was like, ‘Mom, she could find a Jewish wife, too, you know’.”
American Jewish University owns these 2,800 acres in Southern California’s Simi Valley, which is home to rolling hills and herds of cows, the university’s Brandeis-Bardin Campus and Camp Alonim. Over the next three nights and four days, this 66-year-old summer camp for Jewish kids has been commandeered by a new kind of summer camp — Trybal Gatherings, for Jewish adults.
Trybal Gatherings was founded by Carine Warsawski, 34, a buoyant, Boston-bred M.B.A., with the goal of fostering lasting community among Jews in their 20s and 30s, and, ahem, a few in their 40s.
She held her first Gathering at Camp Eisner in the Berkshires in 2017, roping in mostly friends of friends. Over Labor Day weekend, it sold out, with 125 campers and a wait-list dozens’ deep. Last year, she added Wisconsin; next summer Atlanta, and has plans to expand from Seattle to Austin to Toronto.
Whereas traditions like Birthright Israel offer free trips to the homeland, Ms. Warsawski’s aim is to offer an immersive, low-commitment experience closer to home — one rooted not in Zionism or religious doctrine, but in the shared nostalgia of a Jewish-American rite of passage, complete with archery and horseback riding, and a roster that reads like it’s from the Old Testament. (At one point, I’d forgotten my name-necklace. “That’s O.K.!” someone joked. “It’s probably either Sarah or Rachel.”)
There are two main differences between Jewish kids’ camp and Jewish adults’ camp: No bedtime, and booze, lots of it. Kiddie-pools brimming with hard seltzer at Bubbe’s Beer Garden. Bottles of cheap wine at supper. Compostable flutes of bubbly at Arts & Crafts.
Also, adult campers have careers, though no one talks about them. Web developers and screenwriters, wedding planners and wardrobe stylists. And yes, a few doctors and lawyers. The majority came solo; others hand-in-hand and interfaith or happily married in matching outfits, like Emily and Rachel Leavitt — my Secret Santa, er, Mystery Moses.
It’s a mix of die-hard camp people reliving their glory days, once-homesick campers redoing their awkward years, and first-timers wondering what all the fuss is about. “My parents were immigrants from Iran! They didn’t know about camp!” says Baha Aghajani, 30. Neither did Saraf Shmutz, 39, who moved from Tel Aviv to San Diego. “My summers were ‘go play soccer and bug off.’”
As a writer who hasn’t been back to her camp, Young Judaea, in New Hampshire, in 25 years, I signed up to learn what’s moving Jews to opt for uncomfortable bunk beds and kosher-style mess halls, in lieu of a real vacation.
Trybal isn’t the only over-21 camp cropping up these days. Nor is it the only Jewish one. Camp Nai Nai Nai, which also operates on both coasts, and attracts a post-college, more conservative crowd. And “55+” Orthodox Jews have been davening at summer retreats for decades at places like Isabella Freedman where campers crochet kippahs and take day trips to Tanglewood, in the Berkshires.
Trybal is arguably the only camp, though, that starts the day with an “Abe Weissman Workout,” a calisthenics routine straight out of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.” (Tomato juice refreshers included, but no rompers.)
It’s also, explains Ms. Warsawski, “a place for people who are more -ish than Jew.” Like Molly Shapiro, 28, of Berkeley. ““This is my jam!” she says. “Synagogues today aren’t really designed for us. We want something less traditional, more affordable, more fun. I mean, playing cornhole isn’t Jewish, but we’re playing cornhole together!”
Togetherness is what Trybal is all about. The schedule is packed from early morning to midnight with get-to-know-you-games and group activities like partner massage and mah-jongg, pickling and pool time.
The next morning, I pass up dreamcatcher-making for challah baking. “Oh yeah, this is what I’m here for,” says Abel Horwitz, a young Robert Downey Jr., kneading dough we’ll later braid and adorn with toppings beyond the traditional sesame. Rainbow sprinkles. Peaches. Jalapeños. “Will 20 loaves be enough for all 60 of us tonight,” some Jews worry.
Next, it’s a tossup between the relationship workshop and the ropes course. I decide I like humans more than heights and head over to hear what the visiting Rabbi Sherre Hirsch, has to say. She reads a passage from the 20th-century philosopher Emmanuel Levinas and tells us to partner up. A 26-year-old named Sam and I stare into each other’s faces for a full five minutes. “Sit with the discomfort,” the rabbi urges. Reluctantly, I do. I smile. He winks. I wiggle, examining his wrinkle-free forehead and bushy eyebrows bound to grow bushier in old age, until my awkwardness turns to calm. I’m overwhelmed by a deep feeling of curiosity and compassion for this man, for myself, for humanity.
“That was a good reminder,” Ms. Aghajani says afterward. “To give people more of a chance. To not swipe so fast.”
After a grilled cheese buffet, there’s solar art and yoga and Slip-n-Slide kickball. I head for the hammocks, where a guy with long red hair is lounging in a tie-dyed Helvetica T-shirt that reads “Falafel & Sabich & Hummus & Schwarma.” It’s his third Trybal. He is the camp guitarist, and a rocket scientist in real life.
“I come to be a kid again,” Jeremy Hollander, 34, says. He pauses. “And to, you know, be with my people. In real life, he doesn’t bring up the fact he’s Jewish. “‘Hollander’ isn’t ‘Schwartzenbaum’. People see me and usually think I’m Scottish or something.” He feels safer that way. Especially today, he says, with rising anti-Semitism. “The flame is being fanned. You never know who has what opinions. Here, I can let my hair down.” (Although, technically, it’s in a ponytail.)
“The only one thing I have to worry about at camp,” he says, “is when am I going to squeeze in a shower?”
Still, before sundown, we all emerge from our bunks neat and clean and dressed in white. “Can you believe I got this for $2.99 at Saks Off Fifth!” exclaims Lauren Katz, a volunteer staffer wearing lace. (We can’t.)
Picture time. “Say Cheese!” the camp photographer instructs. “But we’re lactose intolerant!” someone cries from the crowd.
We gather in a stone-lined grove, to sing and sway and cheek-kiss “Shabbat Shalom,” before making our way to the dining hall for a sit-down dinner of roast chicken. And, of course, plenty of challah.
It’s all so familiar to me. The tunes are different, but the Hebrew words are the same. The trees are eucalyptus, not pine, and Mr. Hollander is not the longhaired, tie-dye-clad musician from my old camp, and yet — he could be.
I agree with what he said earlier. There is something easy and assuring about spending a summer weekend like I used to (albeit for eight whole weeks): with my people. Or, at least with people who remind me of my people. New friends bonded by old memories.
Trybal is like a modern millennial shtetl, where gesundheits fly. And “Hava Nagila” plays at a Hawaiian luau. And campfire stories include, “How I Became a ‘Nice Jewish Guys’ Calendar Model.”
It’s an alternate, insular world where I find myself running through a field, streaked in war paint, chanting: “We have spirit, because we’re Blues! We have spirit because we’re Jews!”
It’s a universe where conversation flows from the Netflix show “Shtisel” to the lack of Jews in Santa Barbara to the universal disdain for online dating (despite the fact that Trybal is sponsored by JSwipe), to whether Ms. Rosenberg indeed met her future husband.
“We’ll see,” she says, smiling. She did make-out at Arts & Crafts with the Trybal barista: a boy she barely remembers being at her bat mitzvah.
On the last night, I slip quietly out of the luau, where the D.J. is rocking “Lean On Me.” I leave the Leavitt ladies in their twin Hawaiian shirts and my Rosé bunkmates dancing the macarena. Mr. Shmutz and the Cabernets are making reunion plans. Mr. Blake is flirting with one of his crushes.
I have an early flight to catch. Back to my husband and kids and, in a way, the future. In the morning, I’ll miss the friendship bracelets and the compliment circle and, like a true last day of camp: tears. For a moment I have FOMO. And then I realize, it’s fine. Sometimes an Irish goodbye is just as good as a Jewish one.

#michaelaloni #shtisel #shtiselnetflix #shtisel3 #shtiselofficial Question: how am I going to sleep tonight!? From the promise of this photo of Michael Aloni (@michaelaloni) back in June, to tomorrow night when we have the world premiere of Shtisel Season 3, Episode 1 for those of us in the US! I put a countdown clock in my stories, I'm taking the afternoon off from work, and I have a plan for Lucky since it is during his fussy period of the day. And it isn't just the episode (which I know is going to be amazing), but I will get to see Michael! And @neta_riskin, @shirahaas, and Doval'e Glickman. But also, Michael. #michaelaloni #Shtisel #mancrushmonday #mancrusheveryday #thedecameron2020 It is time for #mcm with your favorite and mine, Michael Aloni (@michaelaloni)! I'll admit that I don't understand the practice of fan accounts to watermark their account name on photos. If the original photographer does it, that I understand. But when fan accounts do it, my opinion is that it can ruin the photo. Just me? 🤷🏻♀️Anyways, pics 1-4 from @michaeloursmile page are just too good not to share. (All are from several years ago I think. His EYES in the first one 🔵🔵!) Pic 5 is from @michaelaloni.myheart. Pic 6 is from when Michael was at an event for Israel's birthday in 2018. Pic 7 is from @thevoiceisrael several years ago. Pic 8 is from a film festival Michael attended in 2017. Pic 9: I originally wasn't going to post this because it was during Michael's rare time off these days, but a fan account posted it, so I changed my mind. Date night & some yummy food look good on him! (Reminder: fan accounts are great, but Michael only has one true, official account, @michaelaloni. Always look for that blue verified check mark to be sure.) And in the final slot is a collage of pics from Michael's reading as part of The Decameron 2020 project in partnership with @ohpen. If you haven't already, be sure to check out the video at the link in my bio! (I could watch it once a day--so good to see and listen to Michael. #michaelaloni #Shtisel #shtiselnetflix #Shtisel3 Filming of Shtisel Season 3 continues in Jerusalem! Apparently, a lot of people in the neighborhood are out there taking photos and filming. These pics are of our beloved Kive, Michael Aloni (@michaelaloni)! The second and third pics were NOT during an actual scene, but rather Michael being a very good sport about taking selfies with fans. He's a real mensch 😉. Just a reminder: I do not plan to post pictures that I perceive to be potential spoilers unless they come from the studio, @yesstudios, producer Dikla Barkai (@diklabarkai), or the cast. By the same token, I cropped these pics to remove the real life people as it isn't my place to repost strangers and I'm not sure of the original sources. https://www.instagram.com/p/CDNW0-bDC_W/?igshid=u15x2jvmoipr

#shtisel #Shtisel3 #michaelaloni #shirahaas Happy Sunday Shtisel fans! I thought it might be fun to recap what we know so far about Season 3 & to include related pics in one post. The pics give an idea of the cast: @michaelaloni, @shirahaas, @yoavrotman1, @zoharstrauss, @neta_riskin, Dov Glickman, @sarelikos, & @reefneeman. Reminder: I'm not a Shtisel expert, nor do I have any inside info; I'm just a fan. The experts are people like co-creators Ori Elon & Yehonatan Indursky, & Producer Dikla Barkai (@diklabarkai). They & the cast are not going to reveal spoilers due to contractual obligations. Also, we can have lots of fun speculating, but why ruin the surprise? Filming is due to start the middle of this month, but the pandemic that delayed the start from May is ongoing. The estimated air date on Netflix is March 2021, per an online event with @sydjewishwritersfest, but that date hasn't been confirmed elsewhere. Nine months isn't so long to wait when you consider all that goes into making what I presume will be a 12-episode season: filming, editing, music scoring, etc. The fact that there is a Season 3 five years after it ended in Israel is huge, so let's be patient. I think the biggest storyline question is: who will be Kive's love interest & we will be wondering on that I think until release. Did he marry Libbi (@hadasyaron1)? Maybe. Will Reef's new character be in the mix? Maybe. Is Elisheva (@ayeletzurer) coming back? Likely not. Ayelet has said no. They considered it for Season 2 & it didn't serve the story. And it isn't because of her new series, Losing Alice, which filmed last year or even that Ayelet is quarantined in California. But also, it would be a huge spoiler to announce her casting. So, we can each keep dreaming about our hoped-for storylines & let's stop asking the cast. I love the show & I trust the writers to be amazing again. I think the themes like family, love, grief, & building bridges will persist. I'm enjoying all the photos & of course hoping we see Michael Aloni having a Kive fitting next. Got that @yesstudios & @yestv? ❤ Finally, for wonderful insight on Seasons 1 & 2, check out the interview with Dikla at the link in my bio. https://www.instagram.com/p/CCRdXS_jAgV/?igshid=833q17w4h2cc

#michaelaloni #Shtisel #brucealoni #rottweiler #waybackwednesday #mancrusheveryday This post is a bit of a mash-up. The first six pictures are from around a year ago. In the first pic, Michael Aloni (@michaelaloni) & Moriya Lombroso (@moriyalombroso) were heading #outandabout in New York. Their destination? The @brooklynbotanic to attend a wedding. As you can see in pics 2-5, it was a gorgeous spot and M & M look super sharp all dressed up. Pic #6 was @brucealoni living it up at the beach back in Israel at the same time. Then we shift gears in pics 7 & 8 to today. Looks like M & M found another beautiful location, this time in Israel. Michael's beard is definitely looking to be on its way to Kive-ready for Shtisel 😉. On a more serious note: I know several people are going to feel compelled to comment on the cigarette in today's pic. Michael's a grown man & he can do what he wants. Believe me, I'm anything but a fan of smoking. My mom did it for 50 years until it led to her stroke & a host of other health problems. But that means I was also witness to how hard it is to quit. Bottom line is that it isn't for me or anyone else to judge him for it. He's a smart guy, works out, eats fairly healthy from what I know & he loves the people & doggie in his life. So, let's just enjoy how 🔥 & relaxed he looks. This guy will be super busy with filming Season 3 soon 🎉🎉🎉! https://www.instagram.com/p/CCH5Q5WjJ15/?igshid=1amdpt7ygbyal

#shtisel #ayeletzurer For the Ayelet Zurer fans in the world! She has a new show premiering in Israel soon called, Losing Alice @losingalice_hot. Hopefully, it will end up on a streaming service with subtitles at some point. In the meantime, the first episode is premiering for free this Friday, May 29th at 10:45am Eastern time on YouTube as part of an online festival. I confirmed through a comment to Ayelet on her Instagram post that the episode will have English subtitles. If you go to the link in her post copied below (and also available in her bio) and scroll down, you'll see the YouTube icon. Click on that on Friday at the scheduled time and it will take you to the premiere. I thought I had seen a trailer for the show with English subtitles, but now I can't find it. If that changes, I'll come back and add it. It looks like quite the provocative show & one of the cool things is that it has a female showrunner. (That still isn't commonplace enough!) ******** #Repost @ayeletzurer • • • • • Are you ready for this?!?! #Shtisel #michaelaloni "Twenty Things" post conclusion. (Pic of Michael Aloni @michaelaloni and I from his event with @jnf_uk Manchester September 2019). POST 6/6 19. You want to know what happened when Lippe (@zoharstrauss) was in Argentina. You want to know why Giti (@neta_riskin) asked for the nails in the pharmacy. You want to know why Ruchami (@shirahaas) married Hanina (@yoavrotman1). You want to know about Zvi Arye (@sarelikos) and the kidney or his singing. You want to know why Giti was so hard on Lippe, Ruchami, Hanina. You want to know about Shulem and Aliza or Shulem and the matchmaker's widow. USE THE SEARCH BAR. (Or you can ask me since this post is on my own page.) 20. You got to the end of this post (the last of 6) and you want to know again why I'm writing it. I'm just trying to be of service. Maybe you'll share it with othe fans of the show or maybe, I wanted you to know that Kive and Michael Aloni are my favorites. I met Michael four times last year. He's more gorgeous in person. He's funny, kind and humble. And they broke the mold with him. 🥰 I'm not an expert, so feel free to comment at will. Just be nice; no one asked me to write these posts! https://www.instagram.com/p/CAEqH_oDfiH/?igshid=1n0umrybsqblb

#Shtisel #michaelaloni Do you want to know one of the most rewarding things I do? Every couple of days, I do some searches on Twitter for Shtisel and for Michael (@michaelaloni) and I share the Passover video the cast did talking about how Shtisel Season 3 will start filming after we get past the pandemic. (I will put the link in the comments.) There are so many new fans of Michael and the show, whether because someone was looking for a good binge during lockdown or because they watched Unorthodox and were looking for more. I might also share one of the billion amazing pics of Michael when it seems warranted. I'm just trying to do my part for public service! 😘 https://www.instagram.com/p/B_0-wwcDUgF/?igshid=5ulok6cliq4l
