Oh this game is driving me insane (affectionate)

Started playing in stars and time today and I haven't gotten very far but I gotta say I'm very charmed. The writing's fun, the characters are so cute, and the battle system is cool (I love how it's based explicitly on rock paper scissors bc like. Yeah that Is what pretty much every rpg battle system is based on)

It's so neat how we start the game well into the adventure already, and not at the beginning. And how the player character siffrin isn't like. The Chose One main character (that role goes to mirabelle instead. At least that's what it seems like for now). Siffrin is just part of the party accompanying mirabelle and they make it a point to make that super obvious through dialog with npcs around town

Again I haven't gotten that far at all and I haven't watched a playthrough or anything, just random out of context tumblr posts, so I'm excited to see where it goes
