#fearandhatred #on the canvas syllabus for one of my modules our ta included pre-tutorial instructions to form groups and bring an item to share #but the thing is i have no way of reaching any of my tutorial classmates because i don't even know who the hell they are #and i missed the first tutorial which was on zoom anyway so like. useless #also we haven't had a face to face lecture in the past two weeks. the first time was because of chinese new year #but the second time our professor didn't even give a reason so like what the fuck #anyway i don't think it's that big of a deal because this isn't like a graded presentation just class participation at most #but idk whether the rest of my classmates have already formed groups if they know each other (none of my friends are taking this module)#so yeah i have been mildly nauseous for the past 2 days because of this. thanks prof #anyway the tutorial is today! in 12 hours. we will see how it goes. maybe i'll just derealise and then i won't feel anything <3 #not giving af is not going well #hell week lol. goodnight #actually no fuck you there's a reason no other professor has ever done this and why it's always pre-allocated groups at the very least #how do you expect communication between students from like 500 different majors with no actual main communication channel #that is not how it works in our college bro i'm about to start insulting you in malay i'm so serious. bodoh

My legs and arms hurt from the climbing I did to get some of these views, but it's well worth it.

#crater lake #most of the pass around the perimeter was closed off cause there's still a shit ton of snow #but it was nice #my headcanon in the death stranding fandom is that crater lake was caused by a void out that happened 8000 years ago #still stands lol #ive only swam here 1 time and it was the weirdest experience ive ever had in a body of water no shit #also word to wise if you visit and want to swim or go on the boat: the path is steep and a pain to crawl back up #make sure you got a walking stick good shoes and your breathing is well for that #same goes for some of the trails theres plenty of places to slip and fall make sure you don't go off road no matter how tempting it might b #i had to help 2 people today who fell down pretty good not off the cliff thank god but the trail and climb up i did #to get the closer pics of wizard island #i also mimicked the clarks nutcracker bird up there and had a full convo with a flock #funniest shit ever getting looks of awe and horror from people passing as the birds kept cawing back #and one flew right by my face it was majestic af #this place is eerily silent #which is why i like it #but theres spots here i don't go to much like water itself said places give weird or off vibes #i wouldn't tempt the gods of fuck around and find out here

Hear me out (or don't... it's fine I'm just venting and mean) yeah um I don't believe Chakotay was saved in Prod*gy s2.

#the 'time travel' makes no sense when you think on it. What happened to Prime Chakotay? He got killed they showed that.#At the end s1 Janeway finds an 'alternate chakotay in an alternate timeline' and that's the one they go and get #we saw the original get merc'd in the message. That ACTUALLY happened. Lmao.....#They didn't prevent THAT death because they didn't go to THAT Solum with the Infinity and stop it from happening #instead it was 'ALTERNATE #' implying other.#OG Chakotay wasn't taken over by the alternative one either nothing suggests that was the direction for him in s2 #they didn't do anything like 'well you see chakotay because at the end of s2 when we converged timestreams you have merged with your other'#if they did want to recover the original from s1 then keep that clear instead of being convoluted dont use an alternate timeline wtf #instead the plot was focused on gywns stupid fucking paradox plot and her being fixed #chakotay was the one in a paradox too did that not matter nah dw about it he had to die for this outcome or someshit lmao why #In the extended message given to admiral janeway it shows him clearly getting left behind and surrounded. For those who are unsure of whether or not they really have the "sensitivity to cold" symptom of fibromyalgia, because you think that it's just you not being able to handle colder temperatures like other people, that's one way of putting it. The other way is, when it's winter and the temperatures start dropping, do you feel your pain more intensely? Do you feel like you have more problems with your joints? Is your partner always commenting how cold your fingers and toes are, but it somehow gets more frequent in winter? Those are other ways to consider being sensitive to the cold.

#just a little food for thought #I'm thinking bc I'm high af #I had to take an entire 50 mg gummy tonight because I had some serious fucking pain #I didn't realize it was going to be a consistent pattern of winter making me feel like shit #but here we are in year two of No Longer Ignoring My Symptoms #and I'm still questioning whether or not it's actually fibromyalgia #like I 100% definitively know what it is #I just still don't have the doctors sign off bc I hate phone calls and I'm getting new insurance next month #so I figure might as well wait to see if the new insurance covers any differently #things to look forward to with the new job #anyways I'm forever grateful I didn't have to jump through every stupid ass hoop my husband did when he went full time with my company #it's explicitly designed against people who aren't neurotypical and it's honestly the most bullshit program ever #no they don't give full time by merit in my company #I really only got the job because my file boss wanted me explicitly for her job when she retires #and I will be eternally grateful that she saw something in me that no other manager saw #anyways ignore all these tags anyone who reads this that found this in the fibromyalgia tag instead of my blog #fibromyalgia #>.>#kudos to those who read this far #your journey shall reward you with a small token of my gratitude #🐦‍⬛ a friend for you

Tbh I think like half of my hate towards TOTK comes down to I wish they used the Zonai in a different game. And also I don't like the draconification thing for BOTW Zelda specifically

#august.chr #im not hatin on the demigod advanced goat ppl but they feel pointless af in a story which already had #the trope of an ancient civilization that was super technologically advanced #especially when like the sheikah left behind such a huge amount of shit #but the zonai didn't except for some ruins #that based on the architectural style i honestly assume were probably made well after totk #they literally had to just have the zonai shit fall out of the sky #something i was really excited for in totk was the idea that we would be rebuilding hyrule and helping it recover from the great calamity #but this game was so focused on the past which is annoying bc we had a zelda game that was really focused on the past. its called botw #anyways i still think it's a huge fucking insult that they just ctrl x'ed all the sheikah stuff left behind #i think totk had some cool ideas. but stuff like the zonai and the whole 'zelda gives up her agency for a bajillion years' plot #really feels tiresome when we had a world with the sheikah and with zelda's entire central character struggle #being that she was repressed and stretched thin by the expectations and limitations put on her #IMMEDIATE EDIT actually im mad af about the entire zelda storyline in totk #all she does is go 'yeah link is pretty cool' and then witness things happen and then turn into a dragon #girl has so little agency she can't even have her own plot without it centering around helping link out

At this moment, she is upset at him.

For once the fox's ears seemed to perk up at the sound of something familiar, Someone he knew? He seemed almost hopeful for a moment, but his ears quickly flattened at the Houndoom's upset words. Of course, there it was, the hate he so expected would come from her eventually. If there was one thing he could do right, it was disappoint people. Though his expression was unreadable his behaviour instantly became guarded and tense, his fear of further conflict was obvious. The previous interaction seemed to have done a number on his confidence and persona. He didn't look too keen on talking to Noelle... yet he forced the words out nonetheless, they were broken, quiet and almost inaudible.

He sat in silence for a long moment before he spoke up once more. "…You want it back, don't you? Is that why you're here again? You finally realized the mistake you've made?" He asked, his voice much louder than it previously was. Of course, how could he have been so dumb to not realize? Though he seemed crushed at the idea of giving the gift back, he spoke with confidence in her decision. "I understand."

"I'm one of those people." Silas turned away, leaving the previous gift with Noelle. "You can leave now, you have your gift back... And- We're not friends." He sighed as he waved a hand attempting to shoo her. "We never were, even if I did know who you were..." "You never know I might murder you too, I seem to like doing that to people who are close to me. I'm pretty fuckin' impulsive and honestly... you're just another thing to kill."
