This is of course very silly and not real but I think it demonstrates nicely how colorpoints darken with age! Though the pairs are two separate cats, the kitten will probably grow up to look similar to the adult ^^

Mother cats' instincts are so strong that they will just start taking care of anything vaguely kit-shaped that shows up in their nest! Considering feral cats often raise kits communally, it helps for them not to be picky.
