names for a purple dragon hmmm.. there could be

Amethystos - which is just the greek word for purple (or you could do ‘aemethystos’ just to keep in tradition of using ‘ae’)

aesteron- this is a bit of word play,, i took it from the word ‘aster’ which is a violet coloured flower

byzantaeron- taken from the word ‘byzantium’ which is another word for purple

other purple things

i think ‘wisteria’ is beautiful! but again just to add that targaryen/velaryon feel maybe something like ‘wisterion’ or something

I like the play on amethyst with amethystos!! I was thinking about the purple dragon being named after a purple gem. Tazanite (maybe Tazynin like taz-a-neen) sounds cool to me too. Ametrine as well

Someone was kind enough to mention the dragon being dragon being deep enough of a purple to look almost black in dark lighting. Dumortierite is like this dark bluish purple gem. Something derived from that could be cool. Jade is also a suggestion. Basic but simple and pretty.

As for flowers - Iris, Clematis (maybe Clemytis?? Lol), Verbina, Liatris
