#not a lot of them great for Tamaki but still better than any version where he's AfO's kid

5 headcanons for a krakenverse AU where Tamaki's mother married First instead of All for One. (Playing it safe with the weaker but less evil brother.) Tamaki is their son.
Ehehehe
1- Amaji has an interesting definition of playing it safe, because AfO killed his brother's lover Second (and possibly his next and last lover Third idk but either way 100% murdered lover rate) but when she manages to catch First alone to explain it, he agrees- it'd be political, but it would hopefully offer protection to Ozoko and freedom to First, as long as he spent some time both in the city and back with his brother.
2- AfO protests, naturally, even citing that he should be married before his little brother, but First points out he had centuries to do that before he was even born and didn't, so he lost his chance.(Shame about Sorahiko, I suppose) Knowing his brother will try to kill Amaji anyway, he also tells him that they plan to magically seal their lives together- if Amaji dies, so does he, and vice versa. The catch here tho, is to do this, they'd need someone somehow related to both of them by blood. (This is related to the spell and method in krakenverse canon that keeps AfO from even lifting a hand to his relatives, but less powerful) As they do not share any relatives, Amaji and First would need to make one... Fortunately for Amaji (on a time crunch because AfO would kill her long before nine months were up) and First (gay), witchcraft exists!
3- which, I guess, makes their marriage technically also a shotgun wedding? Ok sure why not. AfO grits his teeth and says they must really love each other to do that, but he can't not attend the wedding, and when he sees the little tiny Tamaki he decides he really needs to find a way to brainwash Amaji so he can have his brother back... And his little nephew, who's adorable (his hair is lighter here, closer to Nejire's shade) and a potential heir to the throne of Ozoko. Which means he has to play nice, to ensure they are within his home and not the city as much as possible
4- he also just... Acts like Tamaki is named after him. He tries to get his pods to treat him special so he prefers it to the city aquatics, but Tamaki is as shy about the obvious and forced coddling as he is getting sideways looks, so he hates both and he especially hates how his uncle keeps forgetting his name, even if he's the only one who is honest about considering Tamaki weak and ill suited for the city. Instead of drawing this towards the Kraken like AfO hopes, it draws him further into his own room in Ozoko, reluctant to ever leave and worrying First, who can't imagine trapping yourself with so much potential freedom right there.
5- AfO, frustrated that what he considers "playing nice" isn't working, wonders if getting married himself would solve the problem, get First to visit more, perhaps a child would draw Tamaki out. He thinks about suitable options, but there's not really anyone. Inko was pretty, but she got married to someone on land, poor tastes just like her mother. The rest of the pod isn't really attractive either, and if he picks one of his more violent and loyal followers, his brother will never want to visit.
As he muses on the issue, Amaji and First lead their son up to the surface to meet Queen Inko and her boys, slightly desperate to get the kid some positive socialization since neither the Kraken's territory nor the city seem viable options.
#we'll leave it open if AfO ever realizes about Inko and Toshinori and how he reacts#if Amaji manages to protect Inko#or if her death rather than leading to imprisonment leads to a schism between First and AfO#many options#not a lot of them great for Tamaki but still better than any version where he's AfO's kid#pocket talks to people#aimportantdragoncollector#katydid#ask game#krakenverse

Telling Him You Don’t Want Kids
AN: ok! Hiya everyone, I hope you’re having a good day/night! So basically, this is what the title says lol. I, personally, never want kids and I think I’ve only seen 1 story where the reader tells their s/o they don’t want kids. Now, I don’t remember where I saw it and I can’t find it, but I want to make my own version! I wanted to make this because I know there are more people out there who don’t want kids but there aren’t a lot of stories like that for us, so I’m here to provide!
Tag List: @peachy-yabbay @sweetlikepeppermints @shiggi-trash @boku-no-dumbass @happynoodle @neon-tries-writing @sunnieskies02 @liliesoftherainmain
Includes: Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugou, Shoto Todoroki, Eijirou Kirishima, Denki Kaminari, Hitoshi Shinsou, Tamaki Amajiki, Mirio Togata, Shouta Aizawa (Eraserhead), Toshinori Yagi (All Might), and Keigo Takami (Hawks).
Come one, come all! Find your mans and tell him you don’t want kids!
He was a little disappointed at first.
He wanted 2 kids; a boy and a girl. He was perfectly fine with adoption too, but you said no kids, period.
Izuku actually really likes children and he gets along with them much more as an adult than he did as a kid. But even then, he wasn’t too bad with kids.
Children aren’t that important to him. The thing is, his dream to be the number 1 hero limits him to a lot of things. Children are one of them. You too, but he’s not gonna let you go.
No kids, he doesn’t care, but he needs you. So you over kids.
You were pretty scared when it came time to tell him. You’d seen how excited he’d get around kids and finally decided to tell him if he stayed with you, he’d never be able to have kids.
“Oh. Well, that’s ok. I only want you, (f/n). It’s ok if you don’t want kids. Please don’t look too upset.”
Hella disappointed.
Why not? They’re annoying, small, and cute. He actually wanted 3 kids of his own, two girls and a boy.
He’s pretty great with kids actually, doesn’t seem like it, but he is. People gravitate towards him, kids included.
The topic of kids hadn’t really come up, maybe once twice in passing, but you’d never really sit down to talk about it.
There were times you’d seen him interact with children and wondered if he’d leave you because of your choices. Unfortunately, with things like this, relationships fell apart really quickly.
Because of that you were terrified to tell your Sparky Sparky Boom Man about this. You couldn’t be forced to have children and you really didn’t want him to leave you.
“What? Why not?” You explained and the two of you went back and forth a little. The entire time, you were shaking, stuttering, and fidgeting. “ Ok, kids aren’t that important, dumbass. Why would I choose kids over you? Nothing to get so upset over. If I have to pick you or kids, it’s you any day.”
Oh good.
Shoto doesn’t want any kids of his own either. After everything with Endeavor as a child, he doesn’t want to be a parent, in fear of being a bad one.
You had to reassure him that definitely wasn’t the reason. You knew he’d be a great father and nothing like Endeavor.
Shoto’s meh with kids. He thinks they’re ok and kids like him, but as stated previously, he doesn’t want any of his own. He doesn’t hate children though.
All in all, he’s pretty happy. He was scared too, he didn’t want his partner leaving him because of something so menial- to him. Good thing you agree.
You weren’t sure how to feel when you told Shoto. He wasn’t bad with kids but he’d never told you if he wanted any. Even after a couple years of dating, it just never came up.
“Huh? Oh, that’s all? That’s good because I don't want children either.”
Ok he’s not that upset, just a little bit.
For Eijirou, kids were never super high on his priority list, being a hero and you are. But it was still on his list, like number 8 or 9.
Eijirou’s amazing with kids! They love him and are always excited to see him. His personality is just something they get along with so well!
Over the course of your relationship, Eijirou had mentioned plenty of times where he’d wanted kids. Every single time you just smiled and nodded.
Unfortunately, you realized that wasn’t helping much. You needed to sit him down and tell him you didn’t want any kids.
You were extremely nervous and terrified because you knew he wanted kids. However, much to your surprise, he wasn’t too upset.
“Oh? Why didn’t you tell me, babe? I wouldn’t have brought it up so many times! That’s fine, kids aren’t for everyone. As long as I have you, I’m good!”
Lowkey hella disappointed.
As he got older, Denki retained that childlike, goofy, clown phase he had as a kid. People like him and he fits it in pretty well. He did drop the perverted attitude though, thank goodness for that.
Kids like him and are always excited to see Chargebolt! Like Izuku, he’s always wanted two kids; a boy and a girl.
It didn’t come up that much in conversation but it didn’t every now and then. You didn’t respond, just shrugged or changed the subject.
Just like the others, being a hero takes Denki away from being able to have a stable family, so even though he wants kids, he was prepared for this.
You weren’t too scared when you told Denki, you knew he was a pretty easygoing guy and he’d never get super upset at you.
“That’s it? You had me worried, baby! That’s fine, kids aren’t that important. If you don’t want them, we don’t have them. Just don’t look like that.” He’s actually really sad, he’s just putting up a front. He’s fine though, he still loves you so much. Like I said, he doesn’t get super upset at you, he’s just upset at the situation.
Not that disappointed.
Hitoshi’s in the middle when it comes to kids, he doesn’t care. It was mostly up to whoever would be his partner.
Hitoshi’s ok with kids. They like him a lot and the way he uses his capture weapon always excites them. He’s pretty busy and not very friendly. It’s really 50/50 with him.
It’s come up a couple times in your conversations and he’d always say the same thing.
“I don’t know. Kids aren’t really on my list right now.”
Because of those responses, you weren’t too scared to tell Hitoshi. You knew it wasn’t necessary but you still wanted to. You felt like you had to, actually. Just to be sure and to not have any confusion.
“That’s it? It’s not that big of a deal. You know that decision was always up to you. You don’t want kids, we don’t have kids. If you change your mind, that's fine too.”
THANK THE UNIVERSE!
Tamaki is just like you; no kids, ever. Never.
Tamaki’s anxiety doesn’t help him in this situation. He doesn’t think he’ll be a good father and he doesn’t want to try.
He doesn’t hate kids, but he doesn’t like them either. Kids don’t understand personal space 98% of the time.
Kids like Suneater. He’s a super cool and powerful hero. Tamaki is the opposite (in his opinion) and he’s always scared when interacting with kids. In fact, he prefers not to. He’ll never deny a child, but he's always hesitant.
The topic of conversation had never come up. You knew kids scared him, but what didn’t (no offense baby)?
You were somewhat nervous when telling him. With stuff like this, there is no compromise. If they want kids and you don’t, the relationship ends. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case.
“Oh g-good! Me too,” he sighed in relief, “I don’t want kids either. They’re too much work and I don’t know how to handle them. It’s better this way, I think.”
He’s not upset, at all.
Yes, Mirio wanted kids, but he’s not upset when you tell him that you didn’t.
Just like the others, he’s accepted that having kids is just a thing he can’t have as a hero and he’s ok with that.
Mirio’s great with kids. They like him, he likes them. You saw how well he got along with Eri.
That’s another point. It’s ok if you don’t want kids, he still has Eri! His friends’ kids are his kids.
Just like the others, Mirio prefers you over children. Sure, kids are great, but he wants you more than anything.
It didn’t really come up that much but the way he interacted with children told you a lot. So you were pretty nervous when it came to telling him.
“That’s ok, sunshine! I’m not too worried about kids. If you don’t want them, we won’t have them! Now don’t look so sad, come on! Let’s get some ice cream!”
GOOD.
He deals with enough kids on a regular basis, he doesn’t need his own. Shouta wants cats. Not kids.
Shouta’s a busy man, he barely has time for you, he doesn’t need kids to be preoccupied with to make it even worse.
Shouta’s pretty good with kids, but that depends. He’s good at control and doesn’t take any shit from kids, but he’s not like Eijirou where he’s super friendly and he’s definitely not easygoing. Kids get scared of him but he’s a softie and they see it on rare occasions.
Like the others, Shouta came to terms with never having kids which was never that big of a problem for him.
The topic had come up before and Shouta’s response was similar to Hitoshi’s. If his partner wanted kids, sure, however he was more like you. Like on a scale of yes to no for kids, he was more on the “no” side than yes.
You were worried. Shouta won’t admit he likes kids, but he likes his class. So you weren’t sure how he would react to you bringing this up to him, really out of nowhere.
“Really kitty? You’re this upset over something so little? It’s fine, I don’t want children anyway. Now, stop looking like that and let me hold you.”
Well that’s good, because it’s a bit late for him anyway.
Toshinori accepted this fate like any other hero. Too busy for kids and even a partner. That second one actually was something that he didn’t like.
He didn’t want to be alone forever, who would?
Thankfully, you came along and you were definitely willing to work with him, especially with his messy hero schedule.
Everyone loves All Might, especially children. They look up to him and he really gets along with them. That was amazing to watch but also scary.
You loved Toshinori with all your heart and you didn’t want to lose him because of something so simple. Kids weren’t that big of a deal for you.
It never came up in conversation, so you weren’t sure but from what you’d seen and dealt with, you thought he wouldn’t want to stay.
“K-Kids? Oh, it’s ok, love. I don’t want kids anyway. Please don’t look so upset or worried. Besides, it’s a bit late for me to have kids, anyway.”
Eh, again in the middle when it comes to kids.
Lowkey happy that you didn’t want any.
Kids were never on his priority list. He’s too damn busy and kids are meh with him too.
Ok, he’s not a fan.
For Keigo, it really depended on his partner. Just like Shouta, on the scale of yes to no, he’s more on the “no” end, but open to suggestions.
Kids are messy, loud, stressful, and require lots of time. He doesn’t need that nor does he want to try.
He says he’s ok with whatever his partner says but that’s not true. He was worried you’d want kids and he doesn’t. He doesn’t entirely like the idea anyway and he was worried he’d be forced to deal with children.
You weren’t sure, yourself, but you were still nervous. Keigo was an amazing guy and you didn’t want him leaving because of this.
“Oh thank goodness, I don’t want em either. Kids are… too much. So, don’t look like that. I’d hope you’d know me enough at this point to know that I love you more than anything. Now come on, dove. Let me hold you.”

All Right, All Might: Ch 12
Word Count: 6,200
Rating: PG
Painting: Toshinori Yagi X FemOC
THIS IS A LONG ONE, FOLKS! at 6,200 words! Because Patho is not participating in the Sports Festival and it is mostly passive watching, I am going to try to get through the whole shabang in two chapters!
———————————— CHAPTER TWELVE: THE UA SPORTS FESTIVAL!
Part One...
“Where’s your girlfriend, All Might?” Nemuri purred softly as she leaned over to the lithe form of Toshinori where they all sat in the teachers box, waiting for the first year competition to start.
“Nemuri,” he blushed, “Aren’t you the Chief Umpire? Shouldn’t you be down there.”
Giggling she ran her whip over his shoulders, “I will be in a moment, now, where is that little darling you are seeing?”
Nezu looked over with a smile, “Yes, where is Miss Chairo?”
Toshinori blushed harder and cleared his throat, “I mean- I’m not her keeper,” he frowned and then spoke again, “Where do you think she is? She’s making the rounds with the kids, trying to help them to be steady and to calm their nerves… as if I could stop her from doing anything she was going to do.”
Aizawa grunted, “Stupid.”
“Why are you always so cruel to her, Aizawa?” All Might grunted, “She’s a great asset.”
“You’re just soft for her because you love her assets.”
All Might grunted, “Hey! That’s not true or fair,” he scowled, “She’s a great teacher and hero.”
“Listen. It’s like I told her a few weeks ago. She’s a second-rate support hero, and she’s coddling these children who won’t get that type of treatment in the field.”
His eyes widened, “You said that to her?”
“She didn’t run and be a little tattle tale?” He scoffed, “I really expected her to run and cry and tell you that I was mean to her.”
“No!” He glowered, “Aizawa, that’s a terrible thing to say to a coworker.”
“Truth hurts sometimes,” He shrugged, “I’m heading to the booth to sit with Mic. Have fun,” With that Aizawa turned and left, still mostly covered in bandages.
All Might sighed and rubbed his temples.
-----
“All the other courses, they’re coming for us with everything they’ve got,” Izuku grunted, “We’re all gonna have to fight to stand out. And I’ll be aiming for the top too.”
Shoto grunted, “Fine.”
“Tch.” Bakugo looked over his shoulder, staring daggers at Deku.
The door slid open once more, they were wondering who could be coming to see them at such a late hour before the start, when no one responded, she could feel more than the average worry or fear in the room, “Wow, the air is really tense in here!”
“Miss Chairo!” Kirishima grinned and stood up, glad someone was there to break up whatever was happening right now.
Izuku turned to look at her, “Miss Chairo, what are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be with the other teachers?”
The woman chuckled softly, sending out pulses of calm energy into the room, “I’m sorry to save your group for almost last! But I had a lot of classes to visit this morning. I just came from 1-B those kids are… something.”
Some of the kids laughed, feeling a little better, “You visited EVERYONE?” Kaminari blinked.
“Of course, I did the same thing last year, I got a little caught up though, a boy named Tamaki almost threw up and passed out before he went out,” she gave a small smile, “Not that I think he’s doing any better this year but… we had some meetings last week to talk about it — ANYWAY, how are my favorites in class 1-A doing?”
“I’m a little nervous, Miss Chairo,” Mina squeaked.
“Well, first thing I want to tell you all is that you CAN call me Keri, you know. I’m not much older than you guys and I understand what its like going through all this.”
“Tch,” Rang out into the room, “No you don’t, loser. You didn’t go to UA.”
“BAKUGO! Not cool man! Thats so unmanly of you!” Kirishima chastised the blond, “I am SO sorry Miss Keri, he didn’t mean it!”
Keri laughed softly, “It’s okay, Eijiro. I meant I have experience talking to the teens last year, but thank you, Katsuki, no I did not. But I know that when I was in school, I watched the UA festival. So make sure you all do your best, and don’t be surprised when kids from other schools start to notice you.”
“Kids from other schools, oh god!” Miineta gasped, “I hope you mean girls!”
She chuckled, “Okay guys. I have to run and talk to 3-A quick, but you will all do great. No matter what place you come in, I am sure with how amazing you are, and the way you handled the USJ incident, that you will all get scouted for great internships. Just remember to breathe, and to be kind to yourself between games, hm? I’ll be watching!”
“Thanks Miss Keri!” Ururaka smiled.
She waved and left the room just as Kirishima was saying how manly she was to encourage them so well, before defending that being manly isn't reserved to being a man. Keri laughed and hurried down the halls to get to where the Big 3 of UA were awaiting their entrances.
Coming into the room she smiled, “Ah! I made it just in time!”
Mirio turned around and beamed, “Miss Keri! Hi! It’s really nice to see you before the big event!” He was the only one allowed to wear a stripped down version of his hero costume, since - he would be naked on live TV if he didn’t.
Nejire turned and gasped, “Hey!” The girl ran over to their guidance counselor and hugged her close, “I’m so happy you came to see us! Did you come to wish us luck!”
Keri hugged the girl back and smiled, “Yes of course I did, I’ve been running around like a lunatic trying to see how each class is doing, I just came from 1-A. Its tense in there.”
“Why wouldn’t it be tense…” rang out the shaky voice of Tamaki from the corner, “Everyones gonna be judging them so hard… after what happened at the USJ… Man I hope there aren’t villains watching…”
Mirio smirked, “Lighten up Tama!”
Keri smiled and went over to Tamaki, placing a hand on his back, her form glowing pink.
Nejire leaned over to the tall blonde and whispered, “I don’t think it’ll ever stop being neat that she glows pink.”
“Yeah!” Mirio whispered, “Like Tinkerbell!”
“Why do… do you waste your time on me, Miss Keri…. I… I never learn anything or… or get better…” he sighed softly, still anxious even though he visibly started to unclench all of his muscles.
She smiled warmly and turned his head to her, “You’re not a waste of time Tamaki, you’re just like a stubborn little cat, but you’ll get the hang of it eventually. I believe in you. I always have. And you have an incredible gift, Suneater.”
“I… Thank you…. Miss Keri… You’re too nice,” He sighed, “Definitely too nice to be talking to me…”
Chuckling she gently rubbed his back, “You’re going to do amazing today, Tama, don’t worry so much,” she pulled out something from her hoodie pocket, “Here, take this, its some electric eel - maybe you can get some of that electricity,” she smiled, “Smile, Tama,” she lifted his chin, “Don’t think about it. Get out of your head.”
“I- I’ll try…. Miss Keri… But…. But I’m probably just going to… to disappoint you,” he whimpered.
Smiling softly she rubbed his back a few more times, “You could not and would not ever disappoint me, Sunspot,” she smiled, “I’ll catch up with you after, okay?” He nodded, cheeks beet red, and she smiled, turning to the other two, “Okay guys! Show em’ what you’re made of!”
Once Patho left the room, with the festival about to start, Mirio smiled, “Man, she is just the nicest isn’t she?”
“Yeah!” Nejire smiled, “And she’s dating ALL MIGHT!” She swooned, “What a hunk…”
“H-hey! I thought I was a hunk!” Mirio whined.
Tamaki walked shakily over to his two friends and took a deep breath, “You know what… what I found out… about her….?”
The two looked over and blinked. It was a long moment before Nejire sighed, “Spit it out, Tama!”
He flinched and looked down, “You know how I…. I’m interning with…. With Fatgum?”
“Yeah…” Mirio looked at him.
Tamaki swallowed, “Keri and him… used to date when she was in college.”
“OH MY GOSH WHAT!” Nejire exclaimed.
Flinching from the outburst he nodded and wet his lips, “Yeah… he was telling me about her the other day. I mentioned…. Her or… something. I guess…. He dumped her…. He said he was a jerk about it…. He still… you know… feels bad… apparently….”
Mirio laughed a little, “Woah, I can’t believe it. They don’t seem like a good match at all, really… Also, Fatgum being a jerk? That’s weird.”
“HEEEEYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! MAKE SOME NOISE YOU RABID SPORTS FANS…. GET THOSE CAMERAS PREPPED MEDIA HORDES… THIS YEAR WE’RE BRINGING YOU THE HOTTEST PERFORMANCES IN SPORTS FESTIVAL HISTORY GUARANTEED!”
“Oh heck! It’s about to start!” Mirio smiled, “You better eat whatever Miss Keri gave you, Tamaki!”
“O-oh yeah…” the boy started to eat, hands shaking.
“I’VE ONLY GOT ONE QUESTION BEFORE WE START THIS SHOW! ARE YOU READY!? LET ME HEAR YOU SCREAM AS OUR STUDENTS MAKE THEIR WAY TO THE BIG STAGE!!!”
Keri ran into the teachers box, out of breath as she smiled, “I made it just in time! I didn’t miss anything!”
Nezu looked over with a laugh, “I’m surprised you didn’t, Patho, you talked to what? All of our students today? Also… you aren’t in your hero uniform or dress clothes…”
She blushed, “Sorry sir…”
“No matter,” he sighed, “You never are in office wear so why would I start nagging now. Please, take your seat, its starting…”
“THIS FIRST GROUP ARE NO STRANGERS TO THE SPOTLIGHT, YOU KNOW THEM FROM WITHSTANDING A VILLAIN ATTACK! THE DAZZLING STUDENTS LIGHT UP YOUR TV WITH SOLID GOLD SKILLS. THE HERO COURSE CLASS 1-A!”
Moving to sit down, she mumbled, “At least I wear UA merch….” She took the empty seat next to All Might with a small smile, “Hi baby,” she moved to put her hand on his and gently ran her thumb over his large hand, “Hey… earth to Toshinori…?”
Looking over he took a breath, “Hey Sunflower - sorry, I’m just… nervous.”
“Don’t be nervous, honey, I just saw Izuku, he’s determined and he’s gonna be fine. He’ll make you proud.”
He nodded and moved to hold her hand gently, leaning into her, “You’re a wonder.”
“THEY HAVENTT BEEN GETTING NEARLY ENOUGH SCREEN TIME, BUT THEY ARE STILL CHOCKED FULL OF TALENT! WELCOME HERO COURSE 1-B!”
“Oh hush, you need to unclench yourself before you have a heart-attack Toshi, honey.”
He chuckled and nodded again, “You’re right. It’s out of my hands for now anyway.”
“NEXT UP, GENERAL STUDIES CLASSES C, D, AND E! SUPPORT CLASSES F, G, AND H! AND FINALLY BUSINESS COURSES I, J, AND K!”
“I just came from the Big Three,” she smiled.
“Oh yeah? I don’t know much about them except for Mirio Togeta. Remember I told you they wanted him to be my successor?”
She nodded, “Of course I remember,” Her fingers were deftly running over the skin of his wrist, “Mirio and Nejire are doing just fine, but Tamaki Amajiki is a wreck,” She sighed, “He and I have had counseling for the last two weeks about dealing with today. He is absolutely terrified. Last year he didn’t even compete he was so afraid.”
“He has an internship with Fatgum, doesn’t he?”
She nodded and took a deep breath, “Yeah, I’m going to have to speak with Taishiro about his insecurities and everything soon… I don’t really… want to.”
“Taishiro? You’re on first name terms with Fatgum? Why don’t you want to see him?”
“Shh! It’s starting,” she giggled a little and moved closer to him. Toshinori allowed himself to relax a little and throw his arm around her shoulders.
“SILENCE EVERYONE!” The sultry voice of Midnight cut through the speakers, “AND FOR THE STUDENT PLEDGE WE HAVE - KATSUKI BAKUGO!”
“ — Oh god,” Keri clenched her boyfriend’s hand, “Please… Please Katsuki say something not offensive. We talked about this,” she whispered.
“Maybe he’ll say something… uh - no he’s probably going to say something offensive,” All Might whispered to her, “Hun, you’re crushing my hand.”
“Sorry,” she tried to relax.
He leaned into the microphone and spoke in his even-keel voice, “I just wanna say, I’m gonna win.”
“Oh my god,” Keri slapped her forehead as the entire crowd booed, including the students. She watched as Bakugo descended the stairs cool as a cucumber.
“WITHOUT FURTHER ADO - ITS TIME FOR US TO GET STARTED…”
The obstacle course was fraught with dangers most of the first-year students have never faced before, but for class 1-A, they had already learned to fight. Even those students in 1-A without flashy quirks were in the leading pack. 1-B wasn’t far behind, but it was clear who was the probable Big 3 of the first years would turn out to be; Todoroki, Bakugo, Midoriya.
Keri looked around while Toshinori stood, clutching the edge of the box the teachers sat in with white knuckles. She could feel him practically vibrating with excitement and pride. A small smile graced her lips as she finally spotted who she was looking for - Enji Todoroki.
“HE WON!” Toshinori jumped up, as everyone stood to clap at the first place winner of the Obstacle Race. Keri stood to clap as well until the blonde picked her up and started spinning her around.
She laughed and yelped, “Toshi! Put me down!”
He did as instructed and the grin on his face was one unlike she had seen on him before. He felt complete watching his protege win and do as he asked - declare to the world that he was here now.
As the fanfare died down, the students filed in, and soon there were only stragglers remaining. The first 42 students to finish would be the ones advancing. Mostly all from 1-A and B, though there were some support course and general studies students as well.
Toshinori watched, giving a silent congratulations to young Izuku, and Keri walked up behind him, running a hand over his lower back, “Toshi, I’m going to take a look around.”
He turned from his daze and blinked, “Keri - you’re gonna miss the next event.”
“I wont miss it,” she laughed, “I’ll still be in the stadium. I want to check out what pros showed up. I feel like snooping,” wrinkling her nose she smiled, “Is that okay, Toshi?”
The older man chuckled, “Of course its okay, besides, you don’t need my permission.”
She smiled and took his hand, “Give me a kiss?”
He blushed and leaned down to her, kissing her lips softly, chaste enough for the setting, “Happy?”
“Always when I’m with you,” leaning up she pressed another kiss to his lips, “Don’t get into trouble while I’m gone now!”
Blinking he called out, “You’re the one who needs to stay out of trouble, Ree!” He took a deep breath and went back to his seat as Midnight began explaining how the Calvary Battle would work. He groaned to himself to know Midoriya had such a high point value on his head, but this is what he expected - he after all had been through three Sports Festivals in his day too.
Keri walked around, saying hello to some of the pros and parents she already knew. She didn’t stop long because she knew who she was looking for; Enji Todoroki.
The cavalry battle was well underway, and Keri had found Shoto’s father and standing a ways away from him, she took some time to watch some of the game now that she was on the lower levels. It was certainly harrowing. She’d always watched the festival growing up, and every year into her adulthood. She had only missed it a handful of times due to clinic hours and exam schedules. She couldn’t imagine having to compete like this.
As a support course student at Ketsubutsu Academy, she remembered her own first meeting with the kids from UA, going to take the provisional license exam in first year. She first met Aizawa there. He was taking the test again as a second year - him and Hizashi both. She also had met Fatgum for the first time there, he had flirted with her and it was the spark going forward when they met again later. She was too bashful and unsure of herself at the time to do anything but smile politely and hide in the crowd. It was so strange to see these kids who she had seen on television.
She never actually had passed the provisional license exams. Which was just as well, she was never really trying to. Already on the path to researching how to get into a hero college for Psychology / Support Training. Keri never intended to do any hero work until she had met with principal Nezu to discuss her joining the staff.
Keri remembered that day fondly;
“Well, I’m sure you’re wondering why I’ve asked to meet with you a third time, Miss Chairo,” the calm voice of the principal sounded out.
The young woman nodded, “Of course, sir, I am both excited and afraid to be here.”
The man laughed, “Afraid?”
“Of rejection, I suppose.”
Chuckling, he took a sip of his tea, “Well good thing for you a rejection isn’t something you will be facing today. I would like to offer you the position officially as our first ever guidance councilor.”
“For real!? Oh my god are you serious, Principal Nezu, sir?!”
“Oh yes, quite,” he laughed, “Some of the other teachers are wary about hiring a woman who not only did not attend UA, but is also Twenty- Seven and has no Hero License.”
Her cheeks reddened, “Well, I was always too focused on my goal of becoming a licensed therapist. Besides, you’ve seen my quirk and it’s not fit for hero work, I can tell you that.”
He smiled, “And why not?”
“I’m not the strongest, I know how to fight well enough to defend myself - but I’m not fast either, all I can do is manipulate emotions, sir. I would be a liability on the field.” She looked down.
He let that hang in the air a moment before beginning, “You know what a liability is in the field for heroes? People who are panicking, people who are out of control or want to run into a burning building to save others, instead of letting the heroes and fire department handle it. People who need to have a sense of urgency to leave a building - or to evacuate an area calmly.”
“I… I don’t understand, sir.”
“What I’m saying is, no your quirk is not flashy, and you’re no fighter - but, your quirk is powerful enough for you to be a first rate support hero. Think of the possibilities for crowd control, victim aftercare, hero aftercare…”
“You… really think so, sir?”
Nezu nodded and smiled, “So, this is the condition for your employment. You work here for me and the school, and I will help you to get your Hero License before the start of your first term.”
“Of - of course, sir!”
“Well excellent. Welcome to the UA family, Keri.” He stood and crossed to shake her hand.
Keri shook it and beamed, “Its such an honor sir, thank you! Thank you so much! I will work the hardest I can to realize your goal of having a functioning and productive guidance office for the heroes of tomorrow! In fact - I’ll go beyond! Plus Ultra!” She smiled.
She was interrupted from her reminiscing when she saw something she wholly did not expect; Shoto Todoroki got cornered, and in his haste - used his Fire quirk. She blinked and shot an eye over to where she remembered Enji standing to see the hulking red-head smirk, arms crossed. The action turned her stomach.
Walking slowly over she hummed, “Hello again, Enji.”
He tensed, she could feel the anger wafting off of him, “You really have never had any respect, have you, little girl.”
“And obviously neither have you, Enji,” she punctuated her sentence with his name once more, “And the name is Keri, if you have actually forgotten it. I find people should be on first name terms with each other, it makes for a healthier working environment.”
“We don’t work together,” He responded flatly, never taking his eyes off the field.
Chuckling she leaned on the wall beside where he watched, “No but we do work concurrently.” He made a soft sound, “Your son is doing very well today,” she smiled, “He is a great kid.”
“He could have done much better in the obstacle course if he applied himself.”
She didn't look at him, “If he used his fire, you mean?”
Turning to look at the insignificant support hero beside him, he grunted, by her tone he could tell that she suspected something was going on with Shoto, something going on at their familial home that was untoward, “I don’t like your tone.”
“I suppose you wouldn’t. Not as the number two hero who prides on having a son who has both his parent’s quirks. Though I have noticed that he doesn’t use the fire quirk, why is that?”
“And what is that supposed to mean?”
“Nothing,” she smiled and finally turned her face to his, “Anyway, It was nice seeing you off the battlefield, Enji.” And with that she turned and walked away from him. An impish grin came over her face as she felt the older man seething behind her. She absolutely couldn’t stand Enji, and how defensive he became - she knew something was up.
---
Walking through the halls, the second event of the festival was over with the top four teams advancing - she smiled, knowing Izuku was in there with a lot of his classmates. She was greatly impressed by the fact that Ururaka was in there as well.
“There you are,” the voice of All Might rang out, “I was looking for you everywhere hon— Patho!” He beamed.
“Hey All Might,” she smiled warmly, “Enjoying the games so far?”
He chuckled, “Yes of course I am - why do you look like the cat that ate the canary?”
“Mmm… I may have just come from pestering Enji Todoroki.”
Toshinori raised his eyebrows and smirked, “My girl likes to live on the edge huh? Look at you, playing with something as dangerous as a live bear.”
Keri huffed a bit, “I just can’t stand that man, someone should put him in his place. He called me little girl.”
The mirth faded from his face and he put a hand on his hip, “Is that so? You think someone should put him in his place? Maybe that someone should be me,” the smirk he gave then was one unique to when All Might was pissed off. He was full of spite and contempt as he went to walk off.
Grabbing his hand she blushed, “Ah - Toshi, wait!”
Turning he looked down at her, “If your boyfriend can’t defend your honor, maybe the number one hero can,” he winked and pulled gently away from her, heading in the direction of Enji.
Keri blushed and tagged along after him, in case she needed to break it up - Enji was a dangerous man.
“Yo,” he started. Keri rolled her eyes, the straight up alpha male energy was off the hook, “Long time no see, let's catch up - Endeavor.”
The hulking redhead didn’t turn at first, “All Might,” he growled before turning and staring daggers into the blonde’s eyes. He didn’t even bother to notice the little rabbit at his heels.
“I haven’t talked to you since that press conference ten years ago! Been awhile - I saw you and figured I’d stop and say hi!” The smile never faltered from his face.
“Did you now?” He scoffed, “Well if that’s all you wanted then we’re done. Tch, chatting like we’re old friends - what a joke.”
Keri winced at the awkwardness of the brief interaction. It was very clear to her that he absolutely hated Toshinori with everything in him. She gasped as Toshinori started to laugh. It was so condescending. He suddenly launched himself into the air doing flips and spins down the stairwell.
He landed in front of Enji with another laugh, “Come on! Why the cold shoulder!?” He smirked, “You should be thrilled! Your son is doing very well out there only using half his power. You must be a great teacher!”
The men were locked in a tense stare as Toshinori’s girlfriend stared on. What was he getting at? Endeavor grunted, “Are you implying something?”
“NO! I want to know your secrets! How do we train the next generation of heroes?”
Enji scoffed, “Do you really think Id tell you anything Ive trained the boy? You’re all flash and no brains, as usual - out of my way,” he pushed past him, shoulder checking the man.
“Okay!” He sighed.
“Let me assure you of one thing, All Might. That kid of mine WILL beat you some day, I’ll make sure of it. That’s why I MADE him.”
Toshinori looked uncomfortable, “You did, what?”
The large fire hero grinned widely, wildly, “He’s in a rebellious phase right now, but he will take your place. I’ll make SURE of it,” Turning he moved to continue to walk down the stairs, “And tell your little groupie to stop meddling, got it? She’s not worth the dust on my boots.” All Might clenched his fists as he watched Endeavor disappear from sight.
Keri heard the confession of the man up on the balcony, covering her mouth as she held back a gasp. Thats why Todoroki wouldn’t use his quirk. She could feel herself tremble as absolute devastation filled her - she could only imagine what Shoto’s life was filled with as she fell to her knees.
“Sweetheart!” He moved to run back up the stairs when he saw her fall, “Keri - what’s wrong?”
She was glowing at this point, tears in her eyes as she covered her face, “God- Toshi - What has he done? He’s … he’s a monster… how can he even call himself a hero? Let alone the number two?” She shook her head, “Oh god - his poor children,” she put her head down and wept.
He felt his own tears prick his eyes from the effect of her quirk, “Shh… shh honey, calm down, it's okay Keri… it’s okay,” after he set her back on her feet he cupped her cheek, “Come on - lets go to your office and I’ll go grab some ramen and come back, we have an hour for lunch, hm?”
Looking up she wiped her eyes, trying to contain her quirk as people were starting to stare, “Tosh- Pull away from me, people are looking.”
“I’m doing no such thing. You’re upset,” he sighed, putting a hand on her shoulder, “Come along, let's get to the school and then I’ll get us some takeout. We can also talk about everything if you want.”
Nodding she allowed herself to lean into his side as he led her from the stadium with his hand on her lower back. She felt exhausted suddenly, “God I hate it when I go into overdrive like that…” She whined gently.
“I know exactly what you mean,” the pro smiled down at her.
As they walked, a few reporters ran forward, “All Might! Hey! How are you liking the festival so far!”
He looked up and smiled a little, not stopping, “THE KIDS ARE DOING INCREDIBLE THINGS OUT THERE TODAY! THEY’LL ALL MAKE GREAT HEROES!”
“And who is this you’re escorting? Do you finally have a girlfriend, All Might?” A female reporter crooned.
All Might looked like he was thinking of something to say, “Oh no,” Keri smiled tiredly, “I’m the UA guidance counselor - I used my quirk a lot today, kind of overdid it actually. All Might was just kind enough to help me to my office - he’s overly worried about his coworker passing out or something.”
He smiled, “Yes- and all of you should definitely know who she is! She’s Patho! The Support hero!”
“Oh yeah,” one of the other men commented, “That’s right, Principal Nezu did say he was trying a new program last year — Miss Patho, may my station come and do an interview with you some time? I’m sure everyone would love to hear from one of the first Student Hero Therapists.”
Blushing she smiled, “Of course - call the school and press five for my office, we will set something up,” she bowed slightly, “Excuse me please, I really need to go sit and eat something so I can make sure I’m of use the rest of today - and in case any students need me.”
The reporters all respectfully withdrew as the two of them continued. All Might smirked and leaned down a little, “Kitten, you’re a natural.”
Laughing softly she looked up, “I’m a guidance counselor, I act like this to everyone.”
“Not to me,” he winked.
She laughed, “Well because when I met you, I was shell shocked, and then we became friends so fast… but sometimes we get clinical together, you know. I’ve used my psychology powers on you.” She wiggled her fingers.
He laughed and continued on inside and up to the guidance office with her.
---
Closing the door and pulling down the privacy shade he knelt down, still in hero form, “Come here, Sunflower.”
Moving to turn and throw her arms around his large shoulders she sighed, “Oh Toshi… I feel so… devastated for Enji’s family… Shoto is so unwilling to talk. But I think he needs therapy probably more than any of his classmates.”
Holding her close he kissed the side of her head, “I know… I have never been very friendly with Enji - well, I have, but he won’t have it. And I know he mistreats everyone around him - even you, baby,” he gently rubbed her back, “Okay, I’ll go get us ramen - you want your usual?”
Pulling back to look at him, she stroked his face, “That sounds perfect,” leaning in she kissed him adoringly.
Humming into the kiss he slid his hands to her waist, “We should have a date night tonight.”
“Sounds good, hun,” she kissed his forehead, “Be safe getting our food,” he moved to jump out the window, “AND NO HERO WORK! WE ONLY HAVE AN HOUR FOR LUNCH!”
“Yes dear,” he winked, and with that he was off.
----
After lunch, Keri and Toshinori ran hand in hand back toward the stadium, “We’re late! We can’t miss this! Midoriya is first up!”
“Calm down Toshi - you have one lung for god’s sake!” She sighed as she was pulled along.
When they arrived, there was no time to go up to the teacher’s box, Toshinori pulled her right into an entry hallway and they stood at the mouth of it to watch the match between Hitoshi and Izuku.
“Oh no,” Keri raised her brows.
Toshi turned, “Oh no what!”
“Hitoshi - he’s from general studies. If he asks Izuku a question - and he answers - he’ll be bound to do what Hitoshi tells him. This match will be over before it even begins.”
“WHAT?!” Toshinori looked back out to the match with horror, “Come on, kid…”
“Poor thing… this is so painful,” Keri sighed, hand on All Might’s back.
Suddenly as a burst of wind came from Izuku both adults were absolutely gobsmacked, “WHATS THIS!? HE STOPPED JUST IN TIME!” The voice of Prezent Mic rang out. And in a matter of what seemed like seconds, the purple haired boy was body slammed out of the ring. Midoriya victorious.
All Might looked to his girlfriend, “What the hell was that?”
“Your protege won, what do you mean?” She smiled, “You can ask him later, don’t worry about it now, he’s advancing. I’ll have to make sure the kids in the finals all get appointments when school reconvenes, poor Hitoshi - he’s had such a hard time. He really should be in the hero course, he just doesn’t have the combat training… I know what that’s like.”
Toshinori looked down to her and sighed, “You know… I always forget that you weren’t in a hero course… to me you are a hero, but… you should know what kids like Izuku and Shinsou go through better than anyone.”
Nodding she patted his back, “Do you want to go to the nurse with him? Get some talking in?”
He nodded, “Come with me?”
“No no, you go on, I’m going to go find Hitoshi,” she smiled and padded off in the direction he had gone, while Toshinori followed Midoriya toward Recovery Girl’s temporary office.
“Hitoshi, wait up!” She called out.
He turned and let out a sigh, “Miss Chairo… I didn’t expect to see you so soon… Though, I should have known you’d talk to the losers.”
“Hey. Stop right there,” she sighed and put her hands on her hips, “I wanted to come and talk to you because you did an incredible job today. You know that I think you belong in the hero course, but it isn’t up to me, unfortunately. But even if you don’t, there are still ways to become a hero you know.”
“You think I did incredible?”
Smiling she nodded, putting her hand on his back and filling him with man echo of pride, “Yes. You should be extremely proud of yourself, Hitoshi. I know I’m proud of you - and your classmates are too. I’m sure the hero course students also think you are a wonder. And even though young Izuku won today, I’m sure he thinks of you with the utmost respect.”
He took a deep breath and nodded, “I’ll be a hero.”
“Yes you will, of that I have no doubt.”
The boy finally cracked a small smile, “I’m gonna go sit with my classmates upstairs, is that okay?”
“Of course it is, you’ll come see me when school starts up again?”
He nodded, “Yes Miss, I will… thank you for caring.”
“Thank you for giving it your all, Hitoshi,” she smiled and waved at the boy as he hurried off to sit with the General Studies students upstairs. Nodding she felt a little better about what happened, satisfied he would be alright, as she headed back to the stadium to watch the next fight.
Taking her glasses off and running her hands over her face, she sighed, “God, today is such a long day… I’m glad they only have these once a year…” Looking up she sighed, “Oh god, this is gonna be another short one… AH!”
She had to dive out of the way as ice shards came flying into the hallway she occupied. One of them cut through her pant leg, slicing her thigh, the other cutting her cheek, “Fuck!” She gasped as she covered her head from the rest of the blast.
When the dust finally settled she looked up, the entrance to the hall was blocked with ice, she couldn’t see anything, but she already knew who won. Sighing, she pushed herself to her feet and moved to head to Recovery girl for some bandages, “He must have spoken to his father,” she hummed tot herself, pressing a cloth to her cheek to stop the bleeding.
Knocking on her door, she called out, “Chiyo, it's me!”
“Come in dear!” She called out.
Opening and shutting the door she was met with a familiar husky voice, “KERI!? What happened to you!? Are you alright!?”
Looking up she smiled, “Just hit by some stray ice shards…”
“That’s what that was? Ice?” Recovery Girl blinked, “The whole building shook!”
She nodded, “I just need some bandages.”
“Here - let me,” Toshinori went and grabbed some supplies, “Sit on the bed, Sunflower.”
Doing as she was instructed, Recovery Girl couldn’t help but smile, “You know, you two are the cutest couple I have seen in a long time. I was hoping you two would realize you had feelings for one another, I just didn’t think it would take so long.”
Blushing hard, Toshinori gently stuck a bandage to Keri’s cheek, kissing it tenderly, before looking back at her, “Well… you know… with everything going on its hard to have time for a love life…”
Keri smiled and ran a hand over his cheek, “You take such good care of me, my hero.”
Chiyo chuckled, “Honestly, so sweet, don’t let that girl go, do you understand me, Toshinori? You two were definitely made for each other.”
Toshinori blushed harder and nodded, cleaning and bandaging her thigh, kissing that as well, “All better.”
Leaning in she kissed his forehead, “Have you been getting enough rest? Should we head back up to the teachers box? You’ve been in Hero Form a lot of today already.”
“She’s right you know, go watch the rest of the matches. Some of the others have been quick as well, but the second rounds will start soon.”
He nodded, “Come on, Ree, let’s head back to our seats.”

Momo Twelve Hits! Rabbit Chat Part 2: Request Hits 1
Part 1 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5
Tsumugi: Thank you for joining, everyone. We'll be accepting requests for Momo-san's RADIO STATION Twelve Hits! here.
Tsumugi: I'll be your moderator, just like I was for IDOLiSH7 and TRIGGER. I look forward to chatting with you!
Momo: Heya, guys! ヾ(*´∀)(∀`*)ノ゛
Rinto: Thank you for taking the time to come here. We look forward to your requests for Momo-kun!
Yuki: We sure are ^^
Tamaki: Yukirin's been interrogating us every time he sees us
Momo: Interrogating!?
Yuki: Tamaki-kun, I'll come bring you King Pudding after this
Tamaki: Yaaay
Tamaki:
Banri: What an aggressive distraction tactic.
Kaoru: Literal bribery.
Momo: Wait, what do you mean by interrogating? I need to know!
Yuki: What do you want, Momo?
Momo: Bribery isn't gonna work on me!
Yuki: I'll take time so serenade you for a whole day
Yuki: With complementary fanservice
Momo: Your bribery is working on me~ ((ヾ(*>∀<*)ノ))
Tenn: Are you sure about this
Ryunosuke: I'm sure it'll be a great day!
Momo: I'm happier than anyone in the whole universe right now! d(`・ω´・+)
Yamato: By the way, his interrogations were constantly asking us if we'd decided on a request for Momo-san yet.
Riku: Yamato-san just went and revealed it..!
Gaku: Merciless..!
Yuki: You've betrayed me, Yamato-kun
Yamato: I don't remember ever being on your side in the first place.
Momo: Wait, you asked everyone that!?
Mitsuki: Every time we saw each other at work, lol
Nagi: He sent messages when he could not see us face to face.
Sogo: I could really feel how strongly the two of you feel about each other.
Momo: Aaaaaaaaaah I'm so sorry, guys! lolololol
Yuki: I was curious about what they were going to request from you
Yuki: So I kept asking them, completely unconsciously.
Iori: So you're saying those messages were all sent unconsciously...
Tsumugi: It's making this request chat even more intense..!
Tsumugi: Let's get right to it. As always, we'll start with Tamaki-san, the youngest of us!
Tamaki: Yup
Tamaki: Can you do a reverse version of Re:vale's married couple thing?
Momo: You mean something like me being the husband who asks Yuki "What's for dinner, honey"???
Mitsuki: That's some high level marriage acting, lol
Tamaki: I mean Yukirin calling you a hunk and stuff
Momo: Huh!?
Momo: No way, absolutely not! If a hunk like him calls me a hunk, we'll get stuck in a hunk loop where I keep telling him, "No, you're a hunk!"
Rinto: The word "hunk" is starting to lose all meaning!
Yuki: Don't be silly. You're a hunk too, Momo.
Momo: You're such a hunk for complimenting me, Yuki..!
Gaku: So this is the hunk loop (lol)
Tamaki: lmao
Tsumugi: I'd love to see Re:vale's new (?) marriage routine..!
Tsumugi: Iori-san, you're next!
Iori: Right. I want Momo-san to woo the listeners with a phrase he thinks will make their hearts race.
Momo: Ah! Isn't that the request I came up with for your show!?
Iori: Yes. I thought I'd like to see you give it a try, as well.
Momo: Thanks for doing my request (・ω<)☆
Mitsuki: I know you said something about taking revenge on your show, but I'd totally forgotten about it..!
Momo: In other words, it's a challenge from you to me? I'm already itching to show off my skills, lol
Momo: You're gonna receive something that'll make you so flustered that you turn off the radio!
Momo: In short, my Heartthrob Cannon!
Gaku: Wait, what is it supposed to be short for!?
Ryunosuke: That sounds like a strong weapon from a shonen manga!
Nagi: You understand nothing, Tsunashi-shi. A Heartthrob Cannon is the kind of sweet technique magical girls use.
Iori: I'm going to receive some kind of nonsensical attack..?
Riku: I'll be checking whether or not your Heartthrob Cannon has an effect on Iori!
Momo: I'm counting on ya, Riku (゜▽^d)
Riku:
Iori: Besides, I want you to woo the listeners, not me!
Tsumugi: I feel like if anyone will find the words to make even Iori-san's heart skip a beat, it's Momo-san..!
Tsumugi: Riku-san, it's time for your request.
Riku: Okay! Mine is to try out personality tests!
Riku: Have you done any before? It's really fun, you find out things you didn't even know about yourself!
Momo: Wow! I've played around with that kinda stuff, but never seriously. That sounds fun~!
Riku: There's this app for doing them, and I've been using it a lot. You can do them over short work breaks, or when you're on the move.
Yamato: Riku's personality was something like, "Rude and uncharming. Doesn't even care if you think he's cute or not~" (lol)
Momo: Are you sure that's accurate!?
Riku: I thought I should get rid of my spoiled emotions and become more honest..!
Iori: Please stop phrasing it in such a familiar way.
Momo: But you're super honest already, lolololol
Tenn: There's no way that test was accurate
Momo: That sounds like a fun app. I'm kinda curious to see what I'd get, lol
Momo: It'll be fun to challenge the app to see into my heart (*`ω´)
Riku: I'll tell you the name of the app later!
Ryunosuke: But if he checks it now, what will he do for his request corner!?
Riku: Aaaah! I forgot!
Momo: Riku, you're just the cutest~ (○´∀`)σ)д`○)♪
Tsumugi: Personality tests, now that sounds fun! Riku-san, tell me what app you're using later, too...
Tsumugi: Kujo-san, you're next!
Tenn: Right. Mine is to tell the fans something you want them to know.
Tenn: I felt that was one of the strengths of hosting a radio show by yourself during my Twelve Hits! broadcast.
Tenn: It lets you engage with your listeners properly. I think they'll be happy if you remind them how you feel about them
Momo: Great idea! I don't get to so solo radio shows often, and I do have a ton of stuff to tell my fans!
Gaku: You're pretty quick to tell the fans how much you appreciate them during lives, too.
Mitsuki: Yep! It always makes me think about how happy your fans must be that you love them so much!
Sogo: Same here. Because you respond positively to your fans' feelings of affection, it lets them know that they're allowed to like you.
Tamaki: Can't they just like you anyway?
Sogo: Of course they can. But doing that gives them a sense of security that makes them happier.
Tenn: That's important.
Ryunosuke: We should be more aware of that, too.
Gaku: Yeah!
Momo: Our job isn't to smile at our fans, it's to make them smile.
Momo: I know what kinds of miracles idols can make happen. So I just want to share the happiness I've received!
Yuki: I knew you were a hunk, Momo
Momo: No, that's you \(´д`;)ノ
Yamato: That started out nice, but you ended up going straight back to the married couple (?) shtick again.
Tenn: I learn a lot from Re:vale's lives, too
Tsumugi: I think I understand why Momo-san makes people so happy a bit better now..!
Tsumugi: Nagi-san, you're next.
Nagi: I have a wonderful request for Mister Momo :-)
Nagi: He may ask anything he wants of me, and I will do it.
Momo: Wait, so it's a reverse request!?
Nagi: Precisely. Re:vale have been good senpais to IDOLiSH7, so I want to repay you somehow.
Nagi: It most certainly has nothing to do with me being unable to come up with a request.
Momo: You're so upfront about this, lolololol
Mitsuki: Nagi, you little...
Tenn: As always, your generosity only extends to members of IDOLiSH7.
Nagi: Whatever do you mean?
Momo: Your reasons aside, you're gonna fulfill my request properly, right?
Nagi: Of course. Whether it is an all-night Cocona marathon or merchandise hunting in Akihabara, I will help you with anything you want.
Iori: That's nothing but your own hobbies, Rokuya-san...
Momo: That sounds kinda fun! I don't really do either of those things, so it might help me find a new hobby!
Yuki: Another one?
Yuki: Make it something you can do at home
Momo: Don't worry! I'll make sure not to even look at the TV if I'm watching the DVDs with you \(*´∀`)ノ
Banri: Yuki... Can't you at least let Momo-kun do what he wants in his free time?
Yuki: Momo's too busy
Momo: You're a hunk even when you sulk, Yuki~!!!
Nagi: Wait a second. Even if Cocona would forgive such an insincere way of appreciating her, I will not.
Nagi: You must devote every fiber of your being to watching her!
Momo: Your Cocona marathons must be pretty hardcore, lol
Momo: I'll think of something you can do for me~(・∀・)ゞ
Tsumugi: I'm excited to see Nagi-san's request get chosen!
Tsumugi: Sogo-san, you're next!
Sogo: Yes. Mine is to talk about something you're secretly proud of.
Sogo: It can be some kind of special skill, too. You've got a wide range of interests, so I thought you probably have many skills, as well. It'd be nice to know something completely new about you.
Momo: Huh!? I don't think I've got anything to brag about, lol I'm just an average guy, lol
Gaku: An average guy couldn't become a top idol!
Ryunosuke: You're setting a very high bar for what counts as average..!
Sogo: I won't mind if it's something really small, so could you please do it..?
Momo: I'm sure I've got some, but I'm not coming up with anything...
Tsumugi: What kind of secret skills could you have, I wonder..?
Choices/outcomes:
1. Maybe you're really good at cutting your own hair?
Momo: I cut it myself sometimes, back when we were really broke, lol I got pretty good at it. I even cut Yuki's hair a few times!
2. Maybe you can predict when your phone is about to ring?
Momo: I'd have to be psychic to do that, lol Though I like to think I've got a sharp sixth sense!
3. Maybe you can take a nap while making it look like you're still awake?
Momo: Back in school, I did that a lot in morning classes because I was tired from soccer practice, lol Don't you think Iori and Tamaki could pull it off, too?
Momo: Hmm... Sorry for being so slow! I’ll think of something by the show!
Sogo: It's fine! I look forward to your broadcast.
Riku: Excuse me! Can we take a little break!?
Riku: Yamato-san's in kind of a bad shape..!
Momo: Huh!? Did something happen to him? Is he okay!?
Mitsuki: We don't know. He's getting hounded by Iori and Tamaki..!
Gaku: A fight..!
Sogo: It's not anything that serious...
Mitsuki: The geezer forgot a whoopee cushion in the living room, lol
Ryunosuke: As in, the thing that makes a fart noise when you sit on it?
Momo: Ah... Now I get what's going on, lol
Tsumugi: The message log has gotten so long that we may as well take a little break!
Rinto: Right. We'll resume in just a moment!

Kyoya's second shot
Episode six: Kyoya's willing day out, part two!
Tamaki's food platter:
They went around the isles, starting with the sweets, Tamaki took a long time examining each treat, giving it great thought as Kyoya simply picked up a small bar of white chocolate, "your rose colour is white is it not?"
"Oh! Good point Kyoya! Write that down!"
• White chocolate (as per rose colour)
A problem arose when Tamaki found crown shaped gummies and rose shaped ones, he was having a bit of trouble deciding between that. Kyoya sighed and leaned against the wall, watching Tamaki's lovely thinking expression, the way his face screws up is so cute and Kyoya feels all his worries melting away as the idiot debates himself.
"Well personally, I think you should go for the roses, and maybe if you can't decide on a fifth, get the crown's as well?" Kyoya gave his input, barely glancing at Tamaki as the king glanced back at him.
"Ohh, maybe, I like that idea." Tamaki smiled softly, "you're always so smart!"
Kyoya felt a little fuzzy at that, loving it when Tamaki gave him positive attention- sometimes he thought maybe he was just in love with the praise…
• Rose shaped gummies
They turned a corner and came across little iced cookies covered in yellow icing, shaped like little crowns even. Tamaki gasped softly, turning to look at Kyoya, "these are perfect aren't they? Ooh, there are silver ones too! We could put those in yours!" He smiles, gesturing to the same shaped cookies with grey icing now, Kyoya found it amusing how much Tamaki liked the title Kyoya had been given… the shadow king, Kyoya supposed that was the closest to queen he was ever going to get.
• Crown shaped cookies with yellow icing (matching the grey ones I will have)
Another strange thing they noticed were these little white balls that seemed to be… milk gummies of some sort, neither Kyoya nor Tamaki could figure out what they were exactly, so of course they went on the list.
• Milk gummies
They found little candy hearts with little messages written on them, Tamaki instantly fell in love with them, reading off as many as he could find. "Ooh! Kyoya we simply have to get some of these!"
"Hm, but some of them are a little crude." Kyoya had definitely just read one referencing sex, he had no idea commoners could be so crude. He tapped his pen on his book slowly, rhymically, it helped him to focus on what was being said.
"Well we could clarify we don't want any crude ones? I would hate to offend the ladies but I have a feeling they'd love these adorable little candies!"
Kyoya almost chuckled at that, letting out a little amused huff through his smirk, "I'll put it on the list then."
• Heart candies with messages on (no crude ones)
That completed Tamaki's list, Kyoya shut his book, making his way to the counter when Tamaki grabbed his wrist, "come on Kyoya, did you forget about yourself?" Oh, he must have. That's the trouble with being forgotten until last on the list, you forget you were ever on it.
"Ah yes, of course. Well we know at least one of the things on the list, what else do you propose?"
Kyoya's food platter:
• The crown shaped cookies with grey icing (so as to match Tamaki's)
Tamaki smiled, chuckling and looking around at the sweets in the isle, "you're not a fan of sweet things, but there are these strange little lavender flavoured candies you might like?" He held up a small packet for Kyoya to examine, he did like the colour, and how on earth would commoner eat flowers, how odd.
"Commoners even eat flowers now? I thought they grew them for the sight, not for fun."
Tamaki nodded, frowning, "oh those poor creatures! Do you think we should let Haruhi take the roses home with her after sessions?"
"Hmmm, I feel she might be insulted if we did that." Kyoya shrugged, writing it on the list.
• Lavender candies (do commoners eat flowers?)
They made a b-line to the savory section after that, looking around at all the food there. Kyoya was rather interested by the tiny pies no bigger than the mini cupcakes on the list for Honey, but the pies didn't fit his theme at all, so he moved his gaze elsewhere. There were pastries stuffed with curry, and as much as he loved spicy food, he didn't think the ladies would appreciate breathing fire, no matter how figurative it was.
"Ooh, come look at this one Kyoya, it's a little pie!" Tamaki was over, looking at a collection of open pies, filled with a strange mixture of meat, fruit and spices. It smelled amazing.
"It looks very nice, but I'm not sure it would match my theme much." He spoke his mind, glancing over to the basket next to the pies, spotting some fresh bread coated in sunflower seeds. "Oh, but this on the other hand is better fit."
"It's… bread?" Tamaki looked over, his disdain for the plain taste of his vice, "isn't that a bit… bland?"
Oh. Oh dear. Kyoya would never want Tamaki to think less of him, but he couldn't help but bristle at the strange sort of tone Tamaki had taken, what offence was meant by that? "What's that supposed to mean?" His tone was automatically harsh, in a way that made Tamaki glance up at him with wide eyes.
"Oh… oh I didn't mean- I mean, well- the guests might not enjoy such uh- lack of flavour..?" Clearly, something in Kyoya's tone or expression had sent Tamaki into a panic. Kyoya sighed, looking down in shame, he loved being bitter sure- but he'd made Tamaki panic…
"It doesn't matter, it's just bread Tamaki, calm down." He glances away, not meeting Tamaki's eyes, "just get whatever you think will fit."
Tamaki sighs, standing up and grabbing Kyoya by the wrist, moving his hand up to close around Kyoya's own, he smiles softly, "oh come on Kyoya, you know I love you, you're my best friend. You know what? It's not like you talk to the ladies as much as everyone else, let's get that bread, hm?" Kyoya nodded, watching Tamaki head to the other end of the isle, he let out a breath- he hadn't even noticed he'd been holding it… he could feel himself swoon, oh this was new…
"Oh. Wow…" Kyoya felt his face burning up, he almost wondered if the makeup might melt. But he sighed- more of a heavy exhale then anything, looked down at his book, adding the new point.
• Sunflower seed bread
He went over to look at what Tamaki was examining, bread baked around a bit of steak- Kyoya hadn't even realised commoners could afford steak, how strange, commoners had a lot more than he'd previously thought…
"It's not real steak," Tamaki must have overheard him, Kyoya glanced at him, knelt down, he was reading the labels on the baskets, "it's some sort of commoners version, only comes in well done."
"Only comes in well done? What kind of barbaric…" Kyoya shook his head, sighing at the thought of something so strange.
"Maybe the ladies would appreciate learning how commoners take their steaks?"
"What? You want to poison them?"
Tamaki just raised an eyebrow, smiling up at him. Kyoya rolls his eyes, "oh, *I* want to poison them, alright then, I'll put it on the list." He chuckles, appreciating the king's stupid sense of humour.
• Bread covered steak (made the commoner way)
"Right," Tamaki stood up, stretching, "only one more thing then we can go and get lunch, all this looking at food is making me hungry." Kyoya had to nod at that, he hadn't eaten breakfast this morning, he hadn't exactly eaten anything yesterday either… god he was actually really hungry now he thought about it. He should definitely probably eat more, but he just never had time, it wasn't like he didn't have more important things to do most of the time, food was just a distraction in all reality, but he supposed he did kind of need to to survive-
"Oh hey! Chilli chocolate!" Tamaki was… where was he? Kyoya wandered towards his voice, finding him in the sweets isle, holding what looked like a bar of dark chocolate. He smiled when he saw Kyoya, showing him the bar, "it's like chocolate but it's got chilli flakes in it! Aren't commoners so smart?" Kyoya smiled softly, nodding.
"They really are, shall I put it on the list?"
"Do you want to?" He was so sweet, so caring, Kyoya couldn't help but fall in love with every word spoken, but of course he couldn't say that.
"I'll be honest, I really just want to get lunch now." He couldn't stop himself sounding a little impatient, his stomach growling just as he said that, as if to prove his point- he would have gotten slightly flushed if it wasn't for the makeup. He quickly finished the list so he wouldn't have to look Tamaki in the face.
• Chilli chocolate
"Aww!" Tamaki seemed to think it wasn't deserving of shame, but endearing instead, "you should have *said* something Kyoya! We could've gone earlier- when was the last time you ate anything?" He put a hand on Kyoya's shoulder, smiling at him, "let's order our platters then we can go and find somewhere to grab lunch."
Kyoya nodded, heading to the country and putting down his book with the pages open to the lists, "take a photo, I'm not tearing my book." The girl at the counter nods, pulling out her phone and taking a picture.
"Alright sirs, just scan your card and leave your number and/or email address so we can contact you for pick up." She seems slightly concerned by the duo, but smiles sweetly either way. Tamaki swiped the club card whilst Kyoya noted down his email, he'd be the one focusing on the behind the scenes stuff after all. The moment that was done, and the cashier had thanked them, Tamaki grabbed Kyoya's arm gently.
"Come on then! Let's go get lunch!" He beams at his vice, clearly still very excited, "I wanna go to a commoners cafe!"
Who was Kyoya to deny that? They soon found themselves sitting inside a ridiculously small cafe, the entire cafe about the size of the club room- maybe smaller. The smell of coffee and warm food made Kyoya even more hungry, he was beginning to have hunger pangs, though he wouldn't want to admit to such weakness. "What do you want to get then?" Tamaki was smiling over at him, holding the little menu, "they've got sandwiches and things like that, it's all so cute!"
Kyoya hummed in agreement, not really paying attention, "just get whatever you think is good." He didn't really know much about food if he was honest, he just wanted to eat something at this point. Tamaki nodded, standing up to go and order, commoners were so strange, there weren't even any waiters here. He just sighed, gazing over to watch Tamaki order, he was accidentally wooing the poor cashier here as well, it wasn't Tamaki's fault he was so handsome, so polite and so very charming, accidentally charming everyone he came into contact with- kyoya included. He couldn't help but to admire the way he stood, the way he spoke… everything about him exuded that princely charm he claimed to have, but Kyoya would never concede that Tamaki was right.
He was just happily admiring Tamaki when said man returned to the table, smiling softly with two cups of coffee, placing one down in front of Kyoya. He watched Kyoya pick the cup up with shaking hands, "I got us both some toasted sandwiches; cheese, ham and tomato. Doesn't that sound nice?" Kyoya nodded, slowly sipping the warm drink he had been handed, Tamaki's smile was truly his favourite thing, it made all of this so worth it.
He sighed softly, forcing a smile, he may as well put his plan into action. "Your smile is nicer when it's genuine, Tamaki," he pauses, he didn't want Tamaki to realise he was coming on to him, "the girls might notice the difference between that and your regular charming one." He refused to meet Tamaki's eyes, glancing back to see the counter, where the cashier was taking someone else's order.
He could hear Tamaki chuckle, a wonderful sound, "you think so? Well believe it or not, hanging out with my bestest friend is a lot more enjoyable than catering to those wonderful ladies."
Kyoya paused, he could almost feel his heart skip at those words, his grip on his coffee tightened as he swallowed weakly, "the guests must not be that important to you if I rank over them." He knew he was barely anything without his name, so to hear Tamaki actually say that spending time with him was more enjoyable then hosting, it made his heart flutter beyond anything before that.
Tamaki looked at Kyoya in great interest, "Kyoya… are you feeling alright? Of course you're more important to me then the guests, you're my best friend, why would you think otherwise?"
Oh no, Kyoya didn't expect the king to see straight through him like that- Tamaki always saw the truth at the most inopportune times. He couldn't just admit the whole low self-esteem thing to him, nor the excruciating crush, so he bristled slightly, frowning. "You know that I mean, idiot."
There was a pause, but before Tamaki could respond, someone came over with their food, Tamaki thanked them and pushed one of the plates towards Kyoya. Oh thank god, Kyoya was starving. He bit into the food like a fucking savage, not caring so much for etiquette when he hadn't eaten for at least two days. It wasn't like Tamaki even cared, if anything, he found it amusing.
"Quite peckish weren't you? When was the last time you ate?" He said it in a joking way, not at all serious… but that got Kyoya thinking… he couldn't actually remember eating anything after that small bowl of commoner's ramen- oh god that was a week ago.
"About a week ago." He answered just as casually as the question was asked, taking a few more bites of the toasted sandwich, either it was the starvation talking, or this was a damn good sandwich; the tomato juice was hot and the cheese was lovely and melty and greasy, the ham just added a nice texture, it was nothing like the high class food he was used to, but just like that burger Haruhi had bought him at the mall, it was incredibly satisfying in a strange way.
He glanced up for just a moment, noticing that Tamaki had stopped eating, and was just sitting, staring at him in concern. Kyoya made a small hum, inquiring what the issue was without having to speak, choosing instead to take a bite of his second sandwich. He kept his gaze on Tamaki however, watching the worry on the other boy's expression.
"Kyoya…" Tamaki began, voice, for some reason shaking, "why haven't you been eating..? What's wrong..?"
Kyoya paused, frowning… did Tamaki think there was something wrong with him? He sounded so worried, so scared for him…. He frowned, shrugging it off, "I've simply been busy, you really shouldn't worry about such trivial things." He was aware Tamaki was frowning at him, but forced himself to ignore it, moving his attention back to his food.
Tamaki sighed, Kyoya couldn't see his expression at the moment, but it was safe to assume he wasn't happy. Kyoya didn't want to look him in the eyes, he didn't understand why he felt such immense guilt over this, he'd hurt Tamaki in worse ways soon to come- but this genuinely hurt so much more… Tamaki cared enough to be pained on his behalf.
After they had their lunch, they took to wandering around the shops, commoners were so ingenious when it came to their tiny shops and how much they could hold. Tamaki got excited over every little thing, and Kyoya had to say he was so happy to see him smile, every time the king turned to him with a great big smile, some new trinket in his hands, Kyoya felt a warm, fuzzy feeling inside his chest… he supposed he knew this feeling, though not two years ago it was unknown to him… this was love, in its purest form.
3:01 - Today is wonderful, I ate for the first time since last Friday. Tamaki is so lovely, truly an angel.
It was late in the afternoon when they decided to head back, they got the same limo, deciding they'd head to Tamaki's place. Kyoya was silent the entire ride there, was his plan working? He really didn't know, today had been a bit of an emotional one. He spent most of the ride just watching Tamaki, he was incredibly attractive and in all honesty; Kyoya thought he was the most attractive when he wasn't showing off.
Then they stepped out of the limo onto the driveway, Tamaki frowned, "hey Kyoya? Haruhi hadn't been responding to my texts, any idea why?" Kyoya instantly bristled, ah yes, he'd forgotten that little detail, but if he had any luck, she'd have forgotten about Tamaki in lieu of Arai right now.
"Oh you shouldn't worry about her so much, you know how she gets," he sighs, heading up the path, "she can be awfully cruel with you at times, she probably has her phone switched off. Forget about it for the afternoon, why don't you? You can always talk to her tomorrow." It was a daring thing for Kyoya to say, but Tamaki didn't seem to realise exactly what he'd said.
They were sitting in Tamaki's room, Antoinette was curled up on Tamaki's lap, and Kyoya couldn't help but envy her… god help him, he was jealous of a dog. He sighed, laying down, his head resting on the pillow Tamaki had used just last night, he could even see one of his hairs there, it made him so warm and fuzzy inside just to think about Tamaki sleeping there, so angelically.
"Is there anything you wanna do?" Tamaki broke the silence, smiling over at him, "we could play chess, take Antoinette for a walk, or-"
"Mhm," Kyoya responded, shifting very slightly in the bed, looking over at Tamaki, "forgive me, but I'm a little tired, is that anything less excited you can think of?" He wasn't lying, he felt exhausted, today had been the biggest exertion of energy since before the summer holidays, so he was… well a little unused to getting so much fresh air.
Tamaki paused, tilting his head, "hm? Well I suppose we could watch a movie or two if you want?" Kyoya simply nodded in response, watching as Tamaki had gotten up to look at what movies he owned. Going through the list, Kyoya helped him narrow it down to a shortlist of horrors and Disney movies, maybe one or two romances- he wasn't fond of them, but Kyoya had to admit it would be a great chance to make a move.
They lay under the covers, Tamaki had laid out a ridiculous amount of snacks, insisting Kyoya eat something, but he really didn't mind, he was a little hungry still, maybe. Tamaki had put his arm around Kyoya, removing the need for Kyoya to even make a move. They sat there together watching movie after movie until late into the night, Tamaki had even had the maids bring them dinner in bed. "Anything to make sure my best friend's ok," is what he'd said, and Kyoya ignored the friend part to focus on how much Tamaki cared about him, if Haruhi had been in his position, Tamaki would have called the whole club in to help, but with Kyoya, it was just him- Kyoya was special, whether Tamaki realised it or not: Kyoya was winning

Random Quirkless Pro Hero Deku facts
- Pro Hero Izuku has a lot of weaponry on him at all times but he’s personally a big fan of knives. He’s usually got at least 5 or 6 on him at all times in all different sizes. He likes them because they’re multi-use, intimidating and, in the hands of a skilled wielder (like Izuku definitely is) can end fights without permanent damage. His favorite knife is the one he stole off of Stain to Iida’s dismay but its just a really good knife okay, Tenya, nothing personal.
- Todoroki is rescue hero working at Froppy’s agency in Nara (kind of the middle of nowhere). He doesn’t really get involved in the big villain battles unless he’s caught up in them, does no marketing for himself, rarely takes interviews, does his best to just be another hero... and yet he’s #20 in the charts. He is the highest ranked rescue hero who goes out of his way to avoid the spotlight and he doesn’t know why he’s so highly ranked. This is because he doesn’t understand the overwhelming power of THIRSTY fans.
- Izuku and Katsuki have a very special relationship. They read each other so well, are a well-oiled, scarily efficient team in battle. Outside of that, they’re disasters. Due to past experiences with ‘friendly spars’ that have gotten out of control they need a minimum of 2 babysitters pro heroes to spot them and be in a qualified facility before they go at it (which they don’t always do). Most every time they meet up they’ve got to rough house a bit to everyone’s horror. Bakugou will get loud and indignant if you call them friends but then rant for 30 minutes on why Deku is one of the best damn heroes he’s ever known.
- Speaking of which, on an operations level Izuku and Katsuki are much better separated than partnered. Kiri much more approachable and adds a sense of balance to Bakugou which is why he’s #1 not long after Izuku leaves. Izuku/Katsuki together were terrifying but a little bit too chaotic? They egged each other on where Kiri calms Bakugou down and Izuku forced to be “in charge” (as composed to constantly competing with Bakugou) of others also makes him less reckless. They’re still a brutally efficient combo but they’ve both agreed that separation really helped them grow.
- Gran Torino went senile not long after Izuku graduated Yuuei having fulfilled his promise to both Nana and Toshi and couldn’t fight any more. Izuku took care of him the best he can and put the old hero up in a luxurious old age home, he visited once a week watching more and more of his mentor slip away. He died when Izuku was still working at Two Hero with Bakugou and it was one of his incentives for leaving the agency and forming One For All.
- Shinsou ended up in the Hero course during their second year, but he went to 1B. Still maintained a good relationship with Izuku and the 1C gang. After graduation, he was surprised when Yaoyorozu offered him a position at her agency. He works there mainly in intelligence gathering, interrogation and general agency management. He still does field work but not nearly to the extent of other heroes.
- Shinsou and Izuku are the lowest ranked in their grade, Shinsou being in the 90s while Izuku is in the high 70s. Izuku will never let his friend forget that he, quirkless and hated by the system, is higher ranked than Shinsou. Its really because Shinsou is kind of a reclusive hero only known because he works at such a prestigious agency. If and when Shinsou decides to make an effort at his popularity it’s all over for Izuku. Until then, Izuku will lord it over him.
- As for the 1C gang, Patrick moved back to America right after graduation. He’s doing odds and ends, still trying to figure out what he wants to do. Does frequent calls/visits to Japan to visit his high school friends. Korudo did end up working his father’s company but on his own terms, donates a lot to Izuku’s AFO foundation. Izuku probably sees Taketsu the most, she’s a quirk lawyer and works with Izuku professionally in terms of quirk advocacy and advancement.
- Hero Names: Bakugou - Kacchan, Todoroki - stays as Shouto, Aoyoma - Lumiere, Shinsou - Hypnos
- As soon as he graduated, Izuku moved into All Might’s old apartment because he couldn’t stand to sell it. He left it almost identical only converting the back study and pretty much living out of boxes the first few years. He’s very, very slowly taking down All Might’s things and putting up his own but each change involves a lot of struggle and crying, but it feels like healing. In addition, Toshi was able to change his will before dying so Izuku inherited an insane amount of money from All Might’s estate. He couldn’t spend it all in his lifetime if he tried. He mostly keeps it away but donates a lot of it to AFO and other charities.
- Deku is a fan favorite as far submissive ships go. In every fan pairing he’s put in (and there are some wild one out there) he is the delicate, submissive quirkless partner. When asked on it, 1A just comments “have you ever actually seen Deku??” still the trope persists. Popular fan pairings are Bakudeku, Shoudeku, Iideku and Uradeku.
- The Class has varying ways of referring to one another, most of them feel comfortable calling each other by their first names but almost all continue to call Iida by his surname (except Ochako and Izuku when he’s feeling annoyed/sappy). Izuku and Katsuki have a whole language of names within the names they call each other, all you should know is that if you hear Izuku say “Bakugou” or Katsuki “Izu-chan” you better run like hell.
- Midoriya Hisashi was officially killed halfway through Izuku’s Third Year in a villian attack at his office in America. Inko was distraught but Izuku really couldn’t bring himself to mourn a man he never knew (and was already exhausted still grieving for All Might). Inko and Izuku got a sizable payout from it, ensuring Inko will be able to live comfortably for the rest of her life. Izuku never touched the money, relying first on All Might’s money then his own when he had to. ((Most people know I’m pretty ham for DFO so let me say this, on paper “Midoriya Hisashi” was killed it’s up to you if someone else is still around)
- While OFA doesn’t have any permanent staff, it does have heroes who frequently work there. It started this way because Izuku couldn’t get any heroes to permanently attach and kept it up once he realized the versatility it gave him. Shouto and Uravity usually do at least one or two stints a year. Pretty much all of the unattached heroes of 1A have worked with Deku multiple times (even a few attached, Ingenium surprising everyone by leaving his agency for a month to work with his old friend). Lemillion does it when his schedule allows and a few veteran heroes like Present Mic and Cementoss have done work there as well. And while Number One Kacchan hasn’t officially worked at One For All, he and Red Riot partner do enough inter-agency work that they kind of have.
- Over the years OFA acquired the respect of many heroes but there’s still assholes who refuse to take orders from a quirkless man. Now officially Deku has no problems with those who do not wish to work with him, it’s well within their rights. However, he’ll usually slyly make it known that people have turned down offers from him or spoke against him. And suddenly those bigoted heroes find they’re getting less support from those connected to Deku (a number that grows bigger by the year). There are less team-ups, less chance of being voted for hero titles, more whispers about how a hero being quirkist in this age is so old-fashioned and not cool. The heroes are like ??? how the hell did this happen while Deku sits there and smiles, not having lifted a finger. He’s a kind man but a vindictive one for sure.
- Izuku named his foundation after All For One, the villain who terrorized Japan and ultimately killed All Might, purely out of spite. While Izuku never confronted him in this universe, he knows the villain is still out there. The AFO Foundation took a name that was once feared and turned it into something that could bring people hope. He wanted to tell all the wannabe criminals who would recognize the name that Izuku knows and he’s not afraid. Also he still considers it his duty as AM’s successor to stop him so the Foundation is two middle fingers up to AFO as a challenge.
- Rikimaru-shishou (Izuku and later Shinsou’s martial arts teacher in TLWA) has mostly retired from teaching, only taking a few students here and there. Izuku still keeps in contact when possible, meeting up for a friendly spar when he can squeeze it in. Most of the students Daiki takes these days are kids Izuku recommends with puppy dog eyes.
-Mirio and Izuku end up developing a pretty good relationship. It starts when Izuku tries to intern with Nighteye in his first year and it’s pretty ugly. Nighteye refuses to take him but some, not all, of the Izuku/OFA/Mirio situation comes out. Mirio is very disturbed that his mentor was grooming him to be All Might 2 and kind of separates from Sir and takes Izuku’s side. Really excited by Deku’s vision for a better hero society and they have a big/lil brother relationship. Is super okay when Izuku takes the SoP title from him, like Izuku not bothered with rankings but he knows how important it is to his bro.
- So good news first, Mirio and Tamaki are long term partners and adopt a little girl, Koharu, who has a ‘villainous’ quirk and was abandoned by her family. Mirio being on paternity leave is one of the factors that allows Izuku to take the SoP away from him. So uh bad news, Eri was never recovered during TLWA version of the Overhaul arc. Don’t ask me exact details cause I don’t know lol but Izuku wasn’t really involved and Overhaul and few of his men managed to flee Japan with Eri and haven’t been found since. Mirio and Tamaki both took the loss to heart which is why they wanted to try and pay back that mistake. They’re both great dads though.
- Due to being so outrageously busy during their first year as Pros, Bakugou forgot to maintain a regular haircut schedule so it started to grow out. Izuku and some others commented that the longer hair looked good on him. It got to the point where it was getting in the way so he ties it back in a little tail that looks like a little explosion. That, and his permanent facial scruff, make him a very attractive hero but his personality still leaves a lot to be desired.
#fic: the long way around#fic: rise up and hear the bells#idk why Im keeping this#hopefully this fills in a few holes#and creates some new ones lol#quirkless deku

Title: A Little and A Lot Pairing: Miritama Rating: T Word Count: 1,257 Read on Ao3 Summary:
Tamaki wants Mirio's smiles to be honest when the two of them are alone.
Thank you to @amaisenshi for reading this!
The silence in the apartment is deafening. Tamaki can hear every sizzle and crackle of oil boiling against the hot heat.
He knows he should say something, especially when he sees the blond of Mirio's hair gently bounce when he turns his head, staring out the window. Words have always been Tamaki's true enemy and he hates that he can't think of any to comfort the one person who means more to him than life itself.
It's been a year. They both know it, but neither wants to say anything about it.
Instead, Tamaki pours the meat out onto the plate. "Dinner's done," he calls.
A long sigh comes from the living room and Mirio stands up, taking a seat at their small kitchen table.
"Great! I'm starved!" Mirio says, a smile pulling across his lips.
Mirio has always been incredibly talented at smiling. Whether they be real or fake, they make his handsome face light up. Still, Tamaki recognizes the pain buried under layers and layers of practice.
Tamaki places the curry down in front of him and slides it closer.
"Mirio," he says. "No one expects you... I don't... I mean... this is our apartment." Tamaki mentally slaps himself; really eloquent.
A soft breath slips from Mirio's lips. "It's fine Tamaki. It's been a long time. A year, I think?"
Mirio knows how long it's been, and Tamaki hates that he pretends to have forgotten.
"Right," Tamaki says, not wanting to call him out on it.
"You don't have to give me that look!" Mirio chuckles. "I promise I'm okay. I know it's going to come back sooner or later. I knew it could take a few years. I did the right thing."
"I never said you didn't," Tamaki says softly.
He remembers that day one year ago like it was yesterday. He remembers the jolt of pain he felt when Mirio was shot, like a string snapping. His muscles tensed, his body clenched and he felt Mirio fall away from him, suddenly grounded in this reality and this reality alone.
Tamaki knows how painful it is because he felt it; he feels it, every day when he comes home from work and sees Mirio smile.
He gets it... he knows how hard Mirio worked to perfect his quirk... to use it to the best of his ability.
But he knows Mirio would be miserable if he hadn't jumped in front of the bullet. If it had hit Eri, Tamaki is convinced Mirio wouldn't be able to smile at all.
Mirio is happy working at U.A., helping students train and shape their physicality is something Mirio is incredibly talented at. All the up and coming heroes love him and he's proud of every one of them.
"S-Sorry..." Mirio stammers, faltering for a moment. "You gave me an odd look. It threw me off," he chuckles, digging in to the food. "Delicious as always my love." He leans over and presses his lips to Tamaki's cheek. "You've gotten to be quite the chef."
"It only makes sense. I don't want to eat gross food all the time," he shrugs.
Once again, Mirio has changed the subject and Tamaki is clenching his chopsticks too hard.
Of course Mirio notices. "Tama..." he says, reaching forward to touch his hand. "I'm okay... really I am."
"You're not," Tamaki states finally. "You're not okay. Don't make me say it for you, you know I don't like talking."
Mirio blinks, slowly lowering his chopsticks down to the bowl. "Tama... really... I..." He pauses, realizing tears are slowly rolling down his cheeks. He's still smiling though, unable to let his muscles relax. Tamaki is convinced it's just a habit at this point.
"It's okay... if you're not okay," Tamaki whispers.
"It's not. I have to keep smiling," Mirio says, slamming his hand against the table. "No matter how intense, how dangerous... or how upsetting things got, All Might always smiled. I have to do that too. I-I'm not upset. I know I made the right choice." Mirio blubbers all the words out, his body shaking as he does.
"You can still be upset," Tamaki says softly. "Just because you agree with what you did... you can still feel sad about it," Tamaki whispers, brushing his fingers over Mirio's knuckles.
"Yeah..."
"It doesn't take back what you did... it won't make me think you're weak... you're strong Mirio; the strongest person I know. If you want to smile for everyone else, that's fine. But in here, with me, you can show me whatever emotion you want."
"Tama..."
"I know how hard you worked, I know this can't be easy for you. I... I don't want you to think I'm not proud you've handled yourself so well, and most days you seem fine, but... if you have a day where you miss it that's okay," Tamaki says. He hates talking like this, giving long winded speeches, but he has to get through to Mirio somehow and if this is the way to do it, then so be it.
He would talk for hours if it was going to help Mirio or make him laugh or smile.
"Mirio you... were the one who always told me it was okay to feel how I was feeling. And now I... am going to do the same for you."
"I-I know..." Mirio whispers. "It's just hard. I have no right to be upset. I don't want to be upset about it. I replay that day over and over and I don't see any other solutions. Besides, I know this isn't forever... I know eventually, one day, I'll get it back. But..."
"Right now it's hard," Tamaki whispers.
"A little," he chuckles, a few more tears falling from his eyes, "but just a little."
"It's okay if it's a lot."
Mirio sighs, wiping his eyes. "I think I just miss it. I miss being able to work towards a better version of myself."
"You can still do that without a quirk. You are doing it with your kids at school."
"I know," he says. "I just miss chasing after my dreams... with you."
Tamaki's heart leaps up into his throat. "I know. I miss having you by my side." Moving the chair closer, Tamaki leans over and presses his lips to Mirio's cheek. "Quirk or no quirk... I will always be by your side."
Mirio gently wraps his hand around the back of Tamaki's neck, pulling him closer as he presses their lips together. He swipes his tongue along his lower lip, suckling on it gently.
"I know!" Mirio laughs softly, pulling away from Tamaki's lips. He rests his forehead against Tamaki's. "You're kinda stuck with me."
"I don't mind," Tamaki says, a small smile pulling across his lips.
"Good because... if I didn't have you, I'd probably starve," Mirio teases, pecking Tamaki's lips one more time before returning to the dinner Tamaki cooked.
"Exactly," Tamaki chuckles, keeping their hands linked, while he eats his own portion.
Mirio raises his hand to his lips, kissing the back of Tamaki's palm. "I'm so lucky. I have the most considerate boyfriend in the world."
"I think my boyfriend holds that spot," Tamaki mumbles, his cheeks completely red.
"I think we must be tied then!" Mirio laughs, the sound of his laugh is real.
"I can accept that," Tamaki says, nodding. He keeps their hands locked together, knowing he'll do his best to make Mirio's smiles and laughter as genuine as he possibly can for the rest of both their lives.

Fandom F5k 2020
Dear creator,
Thank you for taking your time to check my requests. I know my requests can sound a bit tricky, but please don’t be discouraged. I wish you will have good time writing first and foremost!
My AO3 is Tren, if you wish to check it out.
Likes: comedy, casefics, canon compliants, AUs, time loops, bodyswaps, roleswaps, “being hoisted by your own petard” plotlines, snark, pettiness, rivals, enemies to friends to lovers, violence, friendships and character bonding,
DNW: explicit sex, A/B/O, mpreg, rape depicted as positive (so no “it’s okay, because the other person enjoyed it/it was what they truly wanted”), trans headcanons, soulmate AUs, stories ending with surrender to fate/destiny, fourth wall breaking in canons where that doesn’t occur, character has cancer or other real-life terminal disease AU, word “queerplatonic”.
Also, I included what ships I’m okay with in each fandom. Please do not include any ships that aren’t canon and I have not allowed in those sections (if you feel really strongly about a ship I haven’t mentioned, you can always ask through mods just in case).
Additionally, while I almost never request fanart as possible medium, because I prefer my main gift to be fic, I would be very okay with receiving fanart treats. On another note, feel free to use my old letters if you get your hands on them. I never stop being interested in fandoms, and if I requested something once I will still want it in the future.
REQUESTS
MARIMASHITA! IRUMA-KUN
I read new manga chapters as they get translated so feel free to incorporate anything from the manga that’s available in english. I’m not spoiled for anything beyond that, so please no spoilers for future developments.
Kiriwo Amy/Suzuki Iruma
There are many good ships with Iruma, but this one just has a lot things I like. I love enemy ships with both sides being way too emotionally invested into each other so this was inevitable. I love how this relationship starts as this really wholesome friendship and school festival preparation, except Kiriwo turns out to be a bit messed up and wants to blow up everyone. But then they both accept the outcome and go on with their lives still thinking about each other. Iruma goes through a lot of trouble to keep the club operating even though Kiriwo has been pretty much expelled. And then Kiriwo is now obsessed with Iruma as his anthitesis and perfect enemy.
I’m okay with the potential story happening at any point in the canon. I would love both a story set before the festival while Kiriwo is still hiding his true colors or a story set after festival. Maybe Iruma runs into Kiriwo somewhere after he escapes prison and instead of calling an adult, he tries to stop Kiriwo from causing trouble on his own. As for pre-festival story. Maybe some upperclassmen steal important parts from the club and Iruma and Kiriwo set out to get them back.
Naberius Kalego & Suzuki Iruma
I love Kalego for being a much better take on Snape than original Snape ever was. The second the series made Kalego Iruma’s familiar I knew this was about to get good. And it was. I love how Kalego slowly warms up to Iruma, even if he is still allergic to his and Sullivan’s antics. I love that Kalego is actually a competent teacher who cares about his students, even if he would rather eat a whole lemon than admit it out loud.
For prompts, maybe Sullivan ends up having an important business and Opera isn’t available so he dumps looking after Iruma on Kalego for a few days. Or Iruma is struggling with studying since so much is new for him so Kalego ends up forced to help him catch up with the material (if you are following manga inclusion of Balam is always welcome). Or maybe Iruma gets into usual trouble ends up stranded somewhere and the only one he can call for help is his familiar.
AUs and ships
I love the worldbuilding around the demon world, so I would ask that if you decided to write an AU that it still incorporates demons. I would definitely love an AU where rather than getting summoned to demon world, Iruma accidentally summons either Kiriwo or Kalego into the human world. Maybe Iruma’s parents try to use him as an offering, but instead he ends up bound to a demon. I would love to see Kiriwo excited to unleash suffering (even if his weak powers severely limit him in that regard) onto human world just to discover that he made contract with the biggest pacifist possible. Or Kalego being torn between wanting to return home as soon as possible (he has classes to teach!) and wanting to somehow help the weird human child that just keeps getting into trouble. Any other demon-focused AU is also welcome. I’m also fine with any sort of AU divergences scenario. Maybe Iruma keeps accidentally sabbotaging Kiriwo’s terrorist plans without realizing it. Or Iruma ends up summoning Kalego more often as his familiar when he gets into trouble.
As for ships, I’d rather avoid any love triangle scenarios for this canon, so please focus on just one pairing per character (competing for Iruma’s attention is normal for this canon, I’d just rather not see outright romantic competition). It’s self-explainatory for Kiriwo request, but if you want to include some shipping elements into the Kalego request I also ship Iruma/Ameri, Iruma/Alice and Kalego/Balam.
BOKU NO HERO ACADEMIA
I read new manga chapters as they come out so feel free to incorporate any new developments.
Bakugou Katsuki & Uraraka Ochako
Bakugou Katsuki/Uraraka Ochako
I love how different the two of them, but at the same time how well they see through each other. I would love to have them work together while showing both great teamwork, but at the same time butting heads over their differences in worldview. I also love how they both acknowledge each other’s strength.
If you plan to write the ship version of this prompt: they are both very focused on becoming heroes, so I would prefer that they don’t just get together easily. I believe they would be both be extremely reluctant to do so, because of their line of work and media attention that heroes get. Still, I would love to see the tension between them where their professionalism fights against their feelings.
For prompts I would love having them complete some sort of exercise or exam together. I would love to see them pretend to be villains for the sake of exercise and Ochako surprisingly getting into the role, with occassional moments of her breaking out of it, which give everyone a whiplash. I feel like Bakugo would have amusing reactions to seeing her act so out of character. Or the work together on something for school festival. Like making a perferomance togater. Alternatively you can go for future fic where the two of them take part in an action to stop villains. Maybe one of them gets hurt which prompts the other to get very protective (and more honest about their romantic feelings if that’s what you are going for).
AUs and ships
I would very much encourage any future fics. I love seeing characters as fully-fledged heroes. I’m okay with other setting changes, though I would prefer for the competence aspect to still come in play somehow in them (with Bakugo being stupidly talented and hard working, while acknowledging Ochako’s potential). I’m also okay with canon divergences.
I don’t mind past Midoriya/Ochako if you want to incorporate it into the story, but I’d rather not get any love triangles for this pairing. Either have Ochako’s feelings sizzle out or have them date and break up at some point in the past. If you are writing gen version I’d rather neither Bakugou nor Ochako were being mentioned currently having feelings for anyone. When it comes to other pairings I like Midoriya/Todoroki, Mirio/Tamaki and Eraserhead/Mic.
MY NEXT LIFE AS A VILLAINESS (MANGA)
I only read manga for this story, so please don’t spoil me for the parts not yet adapted from Light Novel.
Group: Katarina Claes/Gerald Stuart (My Next Life as a Villainess)
I ran into this manga on accident, but I definitely don’t regret it. I love how Katarina ends up solving all the problems in this series either through her efforts or by sheer accident and how she ends up becoming the actual protagonist. This charmingly comedic story has a lot of heart and I crave more.
I think I like Gerard the most out of all potential suitors for Katarina’s heart and would love to see more of his crush on Katarina and unsuccessful attempts at actually wooing her. We only see him through Katarina’s perspective, who can’t separate him from the Gerard she knows from the game, even though he changed under her influence. I would definitely be up for a story where Katarina starts to notice that maybe her idea of Gerard doesn’t exactly line up with the reality. Or maybe she remains blessfully ignorant and decides to go in-depth investigation into finding more of Gerard’s weaknesses, because she saw him do something nice for Maria and now she is sure the end is near for her and she wants to be extra prepared. Or maybe he takes her on a vacation trip to escape from her other suitors, but everything goes terribly wrong (maybe their carriage crashes forcing them to spend the night in the woods), and yet both of them end up having a lot of fun.
I don’t mind including any other characters, since they are a colorful bunch. I read this manga for harem shenanigans, and you are free to include as much of it as you want.
AUs and ships
I’m okay with AUs and canon divergences. The story is already a huge canon divergence after all, so if you want to twist it even more, that’s fine by me. If you want to play around with characters accidentally getting transported to the alternate world where Katarina is the original Katarina or getting a glimps of it, I would be very much for it.
I’m okay with all canonical crushes being acknowledged, however due the nature of my request I want the endgame ship to be Katarina/Gerard. I don’t mind other characters being shipped with each other.
SWORD ART ONLINE
I haven’t read Alicization novels, just watched anime. I know anime skipped some content and if you want to use it in the story I’m fine with it, just make sure to establish the situation so I know what’s going on. However, I would be grateful for not spoiling the story from the novels that have yet to be adapted (you are free to use general worldbuilding from it, just don’t spoil major plot elements).
Eugeo/Kirito
I was perfectly fine with Asuna/Kirito becoming canon and then Eugeo came and made everything gay. Honestly, though, I love the interactions Eugeo and Kirito had and I would love to see more. Especially from their sword academy days where they had some peaceful time before they were brought to the tower. I want to know all the weird shenanigans they got into during that time, given how much like they acted like an old married couple. Or if you want something else then maybe some exploration of their struggles as they climb the tower. For example, a time loop taking place during their tower climb, with the system returning to the last save state each time Kirito dies to keep him alive.
AUs and ships
I don’t have any suggestions, but I don’t mind setting changes if that’s where you want to go. I’m also okay with Canon Divergence AUs of any kind. Especially, for ones changing the ending of first season. Like, I’m okay with sad gay we got, but there are so many possibilites to explore here other than what canon gave us. Maybe have Eugeo permanently fuse with his blade so Kirito ends up having a sentient sword boyfriend. Or he asks Cardinal to transfer her authority to him and have him oppose Administator as the new Cardinal. There’s just so many interesting ways this could have gone. I’m not big on the War of the Underworld plotline so you are free to handwave how the changes impacted it or modify that part of the story completely.
As I mentioned I’m okay with Asuna/Kirito ship, so if you want you can incorporate it in the story. Just make sure the focus stays on Eugeo/Kirito. I must also admit that I really can’t see Eugeo’s feelings for Alice as romantic, so I would prefer them to not be portrayed as such.

BnHA Chapter 142: HHAH!! *GRUNT* *PUNCHING NOISES*
Previously on BnHA: Tamaki faced off against three villains on his own. At first he managed to keep them at bay by generating a bunch of giant kraken arms, which was badass. But then it turned out one of the villains had an eating quirk and just kept eating the damn arms like fucking Gluttony or Monkey D. Luffy or something. The other two villains worked together to beat Tamaki up, but then Tamaki neutralized one of their quirks and fucking absorbed the other one’s quirk and used it against him. Needless to say, he beat them, and it was pretty cool, although I’m not quite sure it was cool enough to warrant an entire chapter being devoted to it, but what are you gonna do. We’re moving on now anyway, so that’s that.
Today on BnHA: Tamaki passes out after winning his fight. We cut back to the rest of the heroes as they make their way down the neverending corridor. Mimic starts messing with the walls again and tries to crush Aizawa, but Fat Gum knocks him out of the way and takes the hit for him. At this point things become very jumbled, but basically FG and Kirishima end up separated from the rest of the group, and find themselves in a pit somewhere with two new villains. One of the villains is a big guy who likes punching shit, and the other is a Buddhist monk who likes to stand around and do absolutely nothing at all. The punching guy punches FG and Kiri a bunch, and Kiri has trouble withstanding it even with his quirk. FG yells at him to not give up and to maintain his will to fight no matter what. He and Kiri face the bad guys in determination and are all “we’re gonna punch ‘em some more, goddammit.”
(As always, all comments not marked with an ETA are my unspoiled reactions from my first readthrough of this chapter. I’ve read up through chapter 175 now, so any ETAs will reflect that.)
all right kids. it’s been two weeks since I last read a chapter. I just did a quick refresher of the past dozen chapters or so, partly to remind myself of everything that was going on, and partly to remind myself of all the cool things that have happened in this arc. it kinda helped. somewhat
Tamaki’s fight didn’t really drag on that much. it was just two chapters. it felt like an eternity -- despite the fact that I actually like Tamaki a lot -- but it really wasn’t that long
and yeah, it’s been like four chapters since they started this raid, and all they’ve basically done so far is run down a few hallways. but I feel like things have to pick up soon, so we’re going to press on
BnHA got the Jump cover again! hopefully that means things are about to get exciting
ooh and there’s a color page too
basically, now that he’s finished beating these three assholes, he’s dosed them with a bit of poison to keep them in check, and now he is passing out. shit
also, “that was far more trouble than it should have been” is one of the more accurate summaries I’ve read in some time
so now we’re finally getting back to our badass 1-A boys! yesssss. I missed you lunkheads
I kinda just want the rest of the arc to be them busting through wall after wall of the labyrinth until they finally catch up to where Mirio is. then Aizawa neutralizes Overhaul’s quirk and they knock him out and rescue Eri and everything is happy and good again. and Nighteye announces that All Might is not going to die after all, and it turns out this whole time he was just misremembering an old cliffhanger episode of the canon All Might anime. and they all live happily ever after etc. etc.
(ETA: you know that anon ask about what I’d change about this arc? scratch everything I wrote in response to that. pencil this in. done and done)
but SOMETHING TELLS ME this is not going to happen
all right, so we’re back in the ol’ villain labyrinth
I’m having so much trouble spelling the word ‘labyrinth.’ I keep mixing up where the y and the i are supposed to go. stupid English language
what the fuck is this title
lol wtf
(ETA: now that I know the meaning of this title, I simultaneously have new respect for the title itself, and new exasperation towards Horikoshi for somehow still failing to see the problem with this extremely dull matchup. listen dude. no one fucking cares if “defense wins championships.” I’m just a poor soul trying to stay awake during panel after panel of blurry punching action. please never do this to us again)
Kirishima’s all “is senpai gonna be okay”, and no one fucking knows, Kiri
but no. he’s not. why on earth did you all leave him. whatever
FG is annoyed that they’re doubting Tamaki
um, no, this is the kind of stupid policy that this series has so far done its best to avoid. in fact, FG, I’ll see your point and raise you one “a true hero offers help even when it’s not asked for”, which is almost the exact opposite of what you’re saying. so WHAT IS THE TRUTH
oh my god Kirishima is immediately doing a 180 from being worried about Tamaki to being all “HE’LL BE FINE”
so am I to understand that you can get Kirishima to say or do anything just by implying that it is or isn’t manly
...actually, yeah, that checks out
so Kiri is fiercely saying that he’s still worried, but he has no choice but to believe in him
meanwhile Rock Lock, whose name was actually mentioned back in like chapter 138 but I missed it but I picked up on it when I went back to refresh my memory, is being annoyed by their enthusiasm. yet again
I feel like Rock Lock actually loves these kids now. right? they’re so fucking lovable. how can you not
(ETA: everyone gives in to class A’s charms eventually)
so now they’ve found some stairs and they’re all “let’s take these stairs”
but then they’re like “maybe we shouldn’t take these stairs”
this kind of indecisive bullshit is exactly why this arc has taken 500 chapters so far you guys. come the fuck on already
Aizawa is suspicious because wth happened to that guy who was manipulating the corridors before
well wasn’t he high af though? so maybe the quirk enhancing drug just wore off and he passed out?
Aizawa is speculating that his range might be limited and he can’t sense them all the way over here. or maybe he’s distracted by the other guys who were still fighting him earlier
I’m tired of trying to sum this all up so I’m just gonna post it
this is the room where Tamaki just finished kicking these guys’ asses. oh shit
now Irinaka’s eye is peeking out, and he’s all mad that the three of them lost to just one guy
and now for some reason we’re cutting back to where Bubble Girl and Captain Cockroach (I forget his name. but it was basically something like that) are restraining the villains who they previously stayed behind to battle
they’re questioning why the villains who were in hiding came out of the woodworks to attack them when they could have potentially gotten away if they’d just stayed put
but one of the villains says that if they’d done that, “Overhaul would have our heads”
this is why I don’t really understand villains like that last bunch who are so fucking loyal to a guy who clearly could not give less of a shit about them
and it seems like most of the current Eights are more loyal to the previous boss than to Overhaul
clearly the previous boss should have picked a 13-year-old peace-loving suburban Japanese kid to be his next heir rather than Chisaki. this is what happens when you don’t have Reborn around
anyway, even though these guys are all complaining about Overhaul, they’re all certain that the heroes aren’t going to succeed in capturing him
-- WHAT IN THE
DID A GIANT BATTERING RAM THING JUST EXPLODE OUT OF THE WALL AND SLAM INTO AIZAWA BECAUSE HOLY SHIT?!
AND NOW IT’S MAKING A HOLE IN THE WALL AND SHOVING AIZAWA INTO IT SHIIIIIT
LEAVE AIZAWA ALONE FOR ONCE, HE NEVER GETS TO DO ANYTHING IN THESE ARCS. LET HIM KICK SOME ASS
Fat Gum is tackling the giant wall hand and knocking Aizawa away from it!
so now Fat Gum has been punted through the hole in the wall instead
I’m relieved Aizawa is still with the kids, but we’re staying with FG, and I s2g if we have to spend another two chapters away from the protagonist watching characters who -- as lovable as they are -- we’d never even met before the start of this arc, I’m not gonna be super happy
-- OH MY GOD
KIRI YOU BLOCKHEAD WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE
motherfucker, he jumped in to take the hit for Aizawa too and then Fat Gum obliviously jumped in behind him and Kiri got sucked in and FG didn’t even realize
well this is just fucking great
so now some guy is emerging from the shadows ready to have fisticuffs!
and Kiri is going into Unbreakable mode again!
should you really be using your trump card right away like that. the trump card which you can only hold for a very short amount of time
um what in the
I’m not really enjoying how blurry and indistinct and difficult-to-follow these action panels have been getting as of late. it’s starting to feel like this series is finally entering a sophomore slump. get it together BnHA, c’mon
anyway, this guy looks to be punching Fat Gum really hard and possibly repeatedly. kind of like when All Might fought the Noumu at USJ
hmm
honestly it sounds like this guy was born to fight Kirishima in an epic showdown
“people oughta kill each other using just the power they got in their bodies” oh, you wacky Honorable Villains. you guys are always all over the place
FG’s turning to Kirishima, but OH SHIT
relax, I’m sure he’s fine though
ah, yes, good
this is probably gonna look really cool in the anime which will make up for this panel being something of a blurry mess right now
(ETA: just to clarify, when I originally read this chapter, I wound up with FA’s original scanlation which was significantly lower in quality. I’ve since found their version 2.0 which used cleaned-up scans which are very much improved.
here’s the original for comparison:
so yeah, the improved scans alone help to make this fight a significantly better read this time around. it’s still dull, but at least it’s readable now lol)
now FG is... trying to punch the other guy, but like. well, take a look
FG is very confused
and now another villain is there! were you there this whole time omg
okay so it must be his barrier then, right?
must... resist... urge to call him Chance the Rappa. no one else thinks it is funny. just you
but you know what. it’s my recap though. so
(ETA: honestly, this association is the only reason why he’s one of the few Eight Expendables whose names I actually recall)
so now Chance is punching FG again and it looks like it hurt him. damn
you know what I didn’t sign up for here. another fight with a tier 3 character where there is no plot advancement and where the villain’s quirk appears to just be “I punch stuff real hard.” wtf. goddammit BnHA, I’m rooting for you so get your shit in order already
so now the barrier villain is referring back to the title and clearing all of that up
actually, Kiri is spear and shield all in one. just saying. boy knows how to throw a damn good punch. who do you think was smashing through all your labyrinth walls earlier
so now Kiri is climbing back to his feet and thinking that the dude’s punches hurt him even in his Unbreakable mode
now there’s a single flashback panel of Bakugou, and my god. I’ll take it. where are you, son. how’ve you been. how’s my other son. I’ve been stuck in a villain labyrinth with side characters for the past half dozen chapters. I hope you’re off having a nice time somewhere
Kirishima is looking like he’s about to get all When The Going Gets Tough THE TOUGH GET GOING
oh! what’s this??
is this... flashback Kiri???
are you telling me he’s not a natural bright flaming redhead. what the hell. next you’re gonna tell me Mina’s not a natural pink and that Deku’s been dying his hair green since childhood
although in Kirishima’s case, he did look up to that Crimson Riot guy seemingly in the same way Deku, Shouto, and Kacchan admired All Might, didn’t he? so maybe it’s got something to do with that
FG is shouting at him not to let up his Unbreakable mode, and that if his spirit breaks that’s when he’ll really lose
and the last page is just Kiri and FG looking gritty and determined. but Kiri’s in his Ben Grimm mode so it looks weird lol
look, I’m hella down for some Kiri flashbacks. I just don’t want this fight to take longer than one and a half chapters. that’s it. that’s my limit. starting a timer... now
BONUS:
I think maybe this bonus page is supposed to go with chapter 143, but eh. it works here too
so Rappa’s quirk is explained in another omake, and basically it’s something that allows him to rotate his shoulders really fast so he can punch a lot. to think, he could have been the next Michael Phelps, but instead he wound up being a third-rate villain in the most boring arc. such a waste
Tengai’s whole character just makes no sense to me whatsoever. why are you a villain. you’re so boring. nothing in your personality or backstory offers up any type of explanation for why you would be working for a murderous crime syndicate. it’s a complete mystery, but not in a cool way, more of a “none of this adds up in the slightest” type of way. just because you never open your eyes when you talk doesn’t make you cool you asshole
#bnha#boku no hero academia#amajiki tamaki#fat gum#kirishima eijirou#bnha spoilers#mha spoilers#makeste reads bnha#why do Cool Anime Characters always do that anyway#open your damn eyes#it's not cool to just not look at things#'look at me look at how much of a shit I don't give. I'm bored by everything'#listen here asshole#unless you're a character in fma and your name is ling yao chances are you're doing this wrong#this isn't fucking bird box okay

Top 10 Favorite BokuMono Games
So my favorite video game series ever is this dumb little farming sim that no one knows what to call anymore:
I could try and explain why I enjoy it more than more classic favorites like Pokemon or Dragon Quest or what have you, but I don’t want to. It’s fun. I like it. If that’s not enough to satisfy you, you might need to reevaluate some aspects of your life.
For the uninitiated, the series is known in Japan as Bokujou Monogatari, which roughly means Farm or Ranch Story. It used to be called Harvest Moon in English, but then stuff happened with licensing and whatever and now it’s called Story of Seasons and the games called Harvest Moon are something different (and should be more different, but that’s an article for another day).
It’s been about 10 years since I started playing the series, and in that time I’ve played every game at least a little bit. I like far more of them than I dislike, and these are the 10 I like the most.
As usual, these are in no particular order.
1. Animal Parade
Just like with my last Top Whatever List, I’m starting with my favorite.
Animal Parade is not just my favorite BokuMono game, it’s my favorite game, period. If I could explain why, I would, but I really can’t, because I’ve played plenty of games that I’m happy to admit are objectively better. Hell, I’ve played other BokuMono games that I’m happy to admit are objectively better. Even so, whenever I’m unable to play this game (for whatever reason), it physically hurts how much I want to.
Does it have flaws? Yep! Do I care? Hell no!
It’s the most balanced game in the series in terms of overall quality, even though there are others that do certain aspects better, and the difficulty level isn’t high enough to scare off newcomers like the other most balanced game (which I’ll get to next, probably, since I’m thinking of it right now). If you have a Wii and haven’t played this game yet, finish reading this, hit like and reblog and all that other stuff that satisfies my need for attention, and then away with you to your nearest Game Stop to pick up a copy. They’ve probably got a few.
2. Sunshine Islands
This is the other most balanced game in the series, though it is harder than Vaughn in that alleged gif up there. It’s also objectively the best game in the series. The soundtrack alone is so good that every game since has used tracks from it. People complain about the sun/water point system making it way too easy for you to lose an entire season’s worth of crops due to an unlucky string of bad weather, and all I gotta say to those people is
Definitely not a game I’d recommend to beginners, but it’s a fun and challenging addition to the series that deserves way more love than it gets.
3. Island of Happiness
Speaking of ones that deserve way more love than they get, this one is probably the most underrated game in the series. People haaaaaate this game, and while I certainly understand their issues, I must reiterate
This is still the game in the series I’ve gotten the farthest in (all the way to Year 4! And I wasn’t close to finished with it!) and while it does freeze during saving and corrupts your data from time to time, it’s still a lot of fun, and the closest so far to my ideal BokuMono game (i.e., one where you start with absolutely nothing except a handful of seeds, some tools, and a scrap of cloth to huddle under at night and have to build everything from the ground up).
This is another one I wouldn’t recommend to beginners, but it’s still really good and doesn’t deserve to end up on so many “worst in the series” lists.
4. Hero of Leaf Valley
This is a pretty game. Possibly the prettiest in the series. It’s also another extremely underrated one, probably because no one in the US has ever owned a PSP. This is one of the ones I’ve been replaying lately and it’s so chill. I love it.
This is a remake of Save the Homeland, which is a game I only played for 5 minutes, because that’s how long it took for me to realize that this remake is far superior to the original. Not to say Save the Homeland is bad (and judging from the tracks that you can listen to in DS Cute, it has the best music in the series), HoLV is just way, way better.
The story isn’t anything particularly ground-breaking (you basically have to pay off an company to keep a theme park from being built in your grandpa’s hometown. I think it’s the same plot as the DS version of The Urbz), but the focus on the story and characters makes it stand out against the other more-story driven BokuMono’s (with the notable exception of Animal Parade, but that’s mainly just because that’s the Best Game Ever™).
If you’re willing to shell out for a PS Vita, I’d definitely recommend downloading this game from the PSN. And pick up DQ Builders while you’re at it. I don’t care if you already have that one for PS4. You can never have too much Dragon Quest.
5. Harvest Moon DS Cute
With one exception
this exception
I’ll always pick the girl version over the boy version of these games, because they typically add new features and fix some bugs and such. And the boy version of DS is pretty much unplayable if you live in the US and aren’t willing/able to import an EU copy. I have the “fixed” version, and my data still gets corrupted in Fall of Year 1, every single time without fail, and I have no idea why.
So, the fact that DS Cute is playable is already a huge boon over the boy version (though my copy has a nasty glitch where having basements breaks my watering can. I got a new copy in hopes of avoiding it, but it didn’t work. It’s really annoying). It also has the best bachelor in the series
this dude
This is slightly off-topic, but people complain about him being flirty, even though he’s really extremely not. Maybe it was a translation problem that made him come off smoother than he should, but most of his flirty dialogue comes after you hear him muttering to himself about his burglarious intentions, and are typically accompanied by an awkward chuckle and this face:
so I’ve always read it as him awkwardly attempting to flirt in hopes of distracting you, but not being very good at it. He’s more Mikorin than Tamaki, is what I’m getting at here.
Either way, DS Cute was the first BokuMono game I played (after one I’ll get to later), and I ended up dropping it before long because I couldn’t get the hang of it. After playing a game that did help me get a feel for how the gameplay works, I went back to it, and it was my favorite game in the series until Animal Parade came around, and to this day is probably still the one I’ve put the most time into.
Also bonus: in the Japanese version, you can totally be gay. So that’s awesome.
6. Back to Nature
This is the game I played after dropping DS Cute that taught me how to git gud at the series. To be more accurate, it was the PSP port that included the girl version, but whatever, it’s the same game.
Back to Nature is kind of a cliched favorite, but there’s a very good reason for that: it’s a damn good game, with simple but fun gameplay, memorable characters, fun festivals, and great music. But since it’s everyone’s favorite, I’m not interested in dwelling on it to long, so let’s quickly run through the other two typical favorites, because they’re also on this list.
7. Harvest Moon 64
This game has some control issues and possibly didn’t age as well as some people like to think it has, but it’s the one where I zone out and get lost in the setting the most. It’s has a great nostalgic vibe to it, even for someone like me who feels absolutely no nostalgia for it.
8. More Friends of Mineral Town
And then there’s this one. Everybody likes this one. I don’t like as much as most because I like having a plot to keep me focused, but it’s still fun.
9. Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns
Really? Not a single gif for this game yet? That makes me sad.
Anywho, this is the newest game in the series and it’s a good’n. The last two were also good’ns, but as each of them has built upon and made improvements based on the last, it seemed like it would be redundant to list more than one Hashimoto game (I say right after listing three that are basically the same game in a row).
While later games in the Wada era seemed more about experimenting with as many different ideas as possible in a sort of “throw shit at the wall and see what sticks” approach to game design that sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t (but I’ll get into that more in my worst list next week), Hashimoto seems to have a clear idea of what he wants the series to be, and has taken the Pokemon and Dragon Quest approach of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” It’s definitely an approach that’s working for the series, as evidenced by the fact that I put the most recent game on this list.
10. Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon
This is the first BokuMono game I ever played (and is the only Rune Factory game that is officially a BokuMono game), so while the gameplay doesn’t hold up compared to later games in the RF series, it still deserves it’s spot on this list.
I hate hate hate hate hate what Rune Factory did to it’s farming system in 3 and 4 (you can’t even make goddamn rune factories anymore, even though that’s the name of the fucking game. The combat definitely needed work and they did a good job with it but the farming system was just fine. They tried to fix something that wasn’t broke and ended up breaking it), but it’s still a great series and it sucks that there will probably never be any more of them.
So those are my 10 favorite BokuMono games. Next week I’ll list my 5 (or 10. I haven’t decided) worst ones.
Now let’s see the spinning cow one more time.
this is a good and pure gif

Relearning love
( This is a bnha fanfic for how the big three adopted a kid.warning this story does have mentions of abuse and harsh conditions...The only character I own in this story is Rei/Yurei. All others are owned by the creator of Bnha)
Nejire huffed and walked up to the boys with her hands on her waist. "Well it looks like we finally know what we're in for?" "You got the location Nej?" Asked Tamaki, Nejire nods with a proud smile but turns serious once more. "At least now we know where all the quirk erasing drugs are coming from..though I hope its not a hoax because, you know how things can go.." "Yeah well we better get on it now then, better now than to wait." Joins Mirio who stands up from his comfy spiny chair of their agency, he goes to grab his cape. Sun eater stands as well Good job on finding the information Nej" "Thanks Tama, I'm just glad someone gave us a hint" Mirio comes over with Tamaki's cloak while clipping on his red cape. "Well lets get going, day light's burning, do you have back up on the way Nejire?" Nejire grabbed her 'work phone' "As soon as we get to the car we will have back up Mirio" She informs earning an amused smile from the blond "now lets hope this goes..well" The three head for the door and soon to their car. Mirio's in the driver's seat with the destination in the GPS, and like promised. Nejire had back up to join them as soon as they got to the car. Parking a few blocks away from their destination, the group talk to their back up people and talk about their plan. Thanks to Nejire's hard work they had a blue print of the warehouse and where secretive groups could be held and possibilities for being able to invade. with that they follow their plan, busting down the large double doors after knocking out the security cameras and the exterior guards, the interior ones were stronger but it was to be expected and they were taken down with a challenge yet back up wasn't too necessary. Rushing up the stairs while back up and the police were able to take evidence and accomplish into custody and questioning. Breaking through until they finally opened a door to a what looked like a vacant dark room. "I wonder what's in this room?" Nejire inquires as she searched for a light source, though when she flipped a switch and lights came on what they saw horrified them. A small child like body laying on the floor, it gave them all flash backs of when they were saving Eri from overhaul this was even more graphic though. The small limp body was covered in bruises, blood and was chained up to the wall. A puddle of vomit near by the body, they were sure the person was dead but that didn't stop Mirio from rushing over and kneeling down to it. To his surprise they were breathing but, the bringing was shallow and you could hear how hard it is for them to breath and their body temperature was ice cold. "Th-they're alive!??" Tamaki was quick to follow Mirio after checking their surroundings and Nejire wasn't far behind. Gently lifting the body up Nejire paled at just how sickly the child seemed up close, like they barely ate and what they did ate they threw it up. "Oh poor kid, hm Tamaki can you try and brake the chains form the wa-" Just as Nejire was asking for Tamaki's assistance, Nejire's phone buzzed, checking it she huffed. "We've still got company guys" "then we'll have to work fast and get this kid out of here and to a safe place." States Mirio confidently, Tamaki gets to work on breaking the chains and just in time the last chain disconnects enough to run off. Holding the child close to his chest Mirio is between tamaki and Nejire as they try and find the quickest and best way to get out. Though not quick enough because the Hench men are coming around the corner. It must be Sun eater's lucky day though, he's got his tentacles all wrapped up with them with one hand squeezing and holding them in place long enough for Mirio and Nejire to run. So Tamaki shoves the henchmen into the room and locks the door. Then running the same way his partners's did to catch up with them. It took some more back up to help come out alive with the child but they did it! Arriving in the parking lot they've got an ambulance ready, even the media came as Mirio carried the child that he hoped would be okay. Maybe new anchors tried to get a word from him and photos as he rushed to the paramedics but he was focused on getting the child to safety first and for most. He'd told the paramedics what they found and what him, Tamaki, and Nejire suspected about the child. It wasn't long after just walking away from the ambulance that they were swarmed by the media who were only given answers that said "We can not give out that information since we are unsure if it is correct" or. "Taking down the henchmen were the first priority when we entered a 'busy' room than just running in an looking through boxes. Besides that should be left up to those who know how to handle such equipment." When they were finally permitted to leave Mirio couldn't help but hold a feel of concern for the child they'd found. It was just like when they found Eri, she was all alone and no one to care for her until Mr Aizawa took her in temporarily but. Ms Midoriya stepped up with Toshinori to take her in seeing as they were thinking of marriage and couldn't leave Eri to the foster system. Tamaki could tell by the look on Mirio's face as they got to their car that Mirio was thinking about the kid and if he was honest. Tamaki was too and so did Nejire, it was embedded into their minds. "Mirio, do you want to see the kid?" mirio's head snapped to Tamaki with a blush on his face, he silently nodded and Nejire giggles. "Well we're not gonna stop ya babe, lets go, I wonder if they're okay?" Mirio nods and starts the car to drive to the hospital they were told the kid would be at. Finding a parking space, detaching their capes or unnecessary items then leaving them in the car before getting out and walking into the hospital. When they walked in they gained many stares from the civilians and nurses. Mirio went up to the front desk and asked the lady. "Excuse me ma'am, we were curious as to where we could be able to see a patient who's been taken here. We'd rescued them not long ago and the paramedics told us this would be the hospital." She looked up at Mirio and asked back "well can you describe any thing of this patient?" Mirio had to think but Nejire was quick to help. "A small child who had broken chains, looked pretty sick and hurt, we'd gotten them out of a warehouse?" "hmm let me see-" A doctor came rounding the corner and smiles at the three heroes. "Excuse me, are you the ones that brought the kid out of the warehouse?" "That is us yes" Offering his hand to shake, the young male introduces himself as. "Hi I'm Dr Hiroshi Siki" Mirio shook the man's hand "Hi, we're the big three, this Tamaki, Nejire, and I'm Mirio" "Nice to meet you, would you like to see him?" "C-can we really?!??" "I mean you are the ones who saved him, besides I think you'd want to know somethings about the young boy." "oh okay then" The doctor instructs the three to follow him down to the children's ward and down the hall into a large room with many beds only separated by curtains. It was like the children's version of the ER, this was way too similar to to Eri's situation. Opening the soft blue curtail, there on the large bed was a small boy in a gown who had needles, lines, and machines hooked up to him as well as some bandages. "Wow, i-is he okay?" Sun eater frowns while looking to the doctor, then the bed and back as if to ask permission to go near the bed. "Well, he has some broken ribs, and some bruised muscle, dehydration which is being taken care of by the IV lines. What they injected into him, I'm working on the results now, hopefully it shouldn't be long but. For the injuries he has physically right now he's gonna be okay." They all didn't know they'd been holding their breath as a sigh was let out that sounded to be from relief for the boy. The doctor was about to go out and check to see if his nurses had any new information for him but. A nurse was already on her way with the results he needed bu when she handed it to him she said. "You wont believe this Dr Siki" The doctor looked back at the nurse with a confused and concerned look before opening the file. Reading it with furrowed brows that soon curved up in confusion then sympathy. "What is it Dr Siki?" "Well I've only seen these cases very rarely and it is common among child victims like him.." The pro heroes knew the news wasn't great at all with even being told what it was, they could here to sympathy dripping from the Doctor's tone. "His quirk has been totally switched" The team was perplexed themselves, Mirio then asked. "what do you mean how can that be?" With a soft huff to prepare himself to explain, Dr Siki just looked to the paper before speaking. "Well what the results show is that, the coding to the quirks he has the possibility to have based on his original genetics has been erased and. Replaced with a different coding to give him a different quirk and its now most likely permanently genetic." "so what are you gonna do with him?" Asked Mirio as he'd grown close to the child in the bed and his larger hand lightly brushed against the bandaged smaller ones. "Well we'll keep him till he's awake and have CPS come in to take custody of him." The mention of CPS brang tension and gloom to Mirio, Nejire, and Tamaki. "Oh okay then" It had been three days since the rescue and the kid hadn't been taken in by CPS yet. Mirio wasn't the only one concerned for the boy's safety if he were to be in the foster system since he'd been through so much already. Nejire couldn't help but think that harming a child was the worst offence a person could do. To such a small child who's too young to have to know that the world of cruel and full of awful people. Tamaki had grown a lot as a person ever since he'd been in the big three as a UA student and when it came to cases like Eri's there was something inside of him that wanted to do all that he could to help protect kids who suffered and. The little boy was no different, it left the same feeling in Tamaki's heart. Mirio had done some research and was hoping he could get his partner's to agree with his plan. Walking into the bedroom he sat on the bed. "Hey guys?" "yes mirio?" Tamaki was brushing out Nejire's hair for her, both Tamaki and Nejire found it relaxing to do. "I've been thinking and I've done some research and...I-I'd like to adopt the kid we rescued?" Both Nejire and Tamaki's gaze snapped towards the blond, Nejire was first to reply. "I've always wanted a child and I'd be happy to make a child's life better.-" Tamaki interrupted politely "I do too, the system can be terrible and the bullying that kid could face would be just as traumatizing as what he'd been through." It was soon agreed upon the by the three of them. Going to the hospital in their casual wear, they walked into the children's Icu and up to the room the young boy was. CPS was in the room, a worker sat in the chair talking to the frightened child who shook and avoided eye contact. Knocking on the door the worker opened the door and looked confused. "Hello who are you?" It wasn't rude just perplexed, Mirio set out a hand to shake with a warm smile. "We're the big three, the ones who saved the child from the warehouse..I'm glad we got here now that you're here we'd like to talk." "Ooh wait you're the group I spoke with on the phone, yes yes, sorry we haven't met in person too much." The young lady shook Mirio's hand with a happy smile. "So I'd like to talk to you three about what you'd need to do with the boy when you do take him but. I'd rather the doctor be in so the correct terminology is used and both sides can have an explanation." "Oh okay that's fine with us, though for now why don't we meet the kid, we don't even know his name yet." Suggested Nejire the lady nods "Sure thing, though he's not very talkative and seems to be very jumpy and skittish." The group makes a mental note, knowing to take precaution. Opening the door to lead the three inside the lady went over to the boy. His hair down over his face, the color of his hair was pretty strange. Dark dark maroon down to hot pink around the tips, the mop of hair was quiet messy and covered his eyes with a shadow. "Hey sweetheart look who I've got" Lady says in a soft voice, the boy hummed quietly to show she's got his attention. "The one's who saved you from the warehouse" Hesitantly the boy's head slowly rose, his hair still covering his eyes but he was able to see them. The three waved at him "hello bud" He barely spoke they all presumed he was scared. "Well they're here to adopt you" That really got the boy's attention as he sat up from his slumped state, his small yet raspy quiet voice then asked. "wh-why?" Nejie approached the bed slowly and got down to the boy's level. "Because kids like you deserve a better chance at life. we care about our jobs, as heroes and as being human beings. It tore us apart to see you when we found you. The system isn't always the best and, judging by how we found you, you've already been through a lot." Her voice was gentle and her eyes held a look of a tender kind hearted soul. It seemed to melt the boy a little as tears began to roll down his cheeks. It was the same case as Eri, the kindness he was being shown had him crying since he'd never received much of it in such along time. "Kiddo why are you crying?" Asked Mirio quietly, the boy fiddles with the bandages on his arms while stammering. "s-so k-k-kind" Smiling mirio gingerly took the boy's hands in his as he says. "You deserve a better life than the one from before, and we'd love to give it to you." nodding was the boy's answer, it made the group smile to see him cooperate so well. While the social worker came with the paper work the three adults stayed with the boy. "So hun, what's your name?" Inquired Nejire the boy frowned and shrugged "I-I..i was called pr-project 12131 or Yūrei." "Yūrei means ghost..I wonder why they called you that?" "may have been his quirk" Tamaki looked to be thinking when he answered "How about Rei?" It was a few seconds before the boy gave a thumbs up as if to say 'yes'. "alright Rei it is, now we can put that on the paper work when the social worker comes." Like clock work the woman came back, with the doctor and paper work. They had multiple conversations about Rei's treatment plan and what to look for if his quirk manifest or if he's struggling to handle things. When they were able to discharge Rei, all the paper work had bee filled out and finished now they could take Rei home. Guiding him out to the car, Nejire sat in the back seat with him while Tamaki and Mirio were up front. "So Rei, you hungry we can pick up something or can you wait till we get home?" Asked Mirio a soft "n-no..I can wait" "Alright then, well it should't take to long to make dinner tonight, we planned on just having rice bowls." The car ride remained silent from then on as they drove home, Rei was anxious about his new home but was willing to try and trust them the best he could. Parking in the garage, they let Rei into the house that had him looking around frequently. The house wasn't huge but they did have big furniture like a large sectional couch, bathrooms, bedrooms. "I'll get started on dinner" Stated Sun-eater who heads towards the kitchen, Mirio and Nejire smile to him. "Alright Tama, Rei sweetie why don't we watch Tv?" Mirio offered, Rei shrugged having never watched TV, not that he remembered at least. So taking him into the living room with was open to the kitchen. They sat on the couch and Nejire turned on the TV, finding some kid shows which seemed to entertain Rei. Sitting with his bandaged legs dangling off the couch, his eyes that remained hidden behind his hair were glued to the screen. It hadn't been long of a wait suddenly Tamaki called them in for dinner. Making Rei jump a little, Nejire gingerly pats his shoulder. "Its alright Rei, come on lets go eat" Nejire holds his hand as they go to the table where the dinner was set. Tamaki set it up so they could get as much a they wanted on their own. Mirio made Rei's bowl for him setting it down in front of the small one, he puts a spoonful into his mouth. Then he froze, it worried the three seeing him freeze like that. Tamaki was nervous now. "R-R-Rei, a-are you okay?" Small lips started to quiver and tears rained down. "th-thank you...it so yummy." Tamaki smiles fondly at Rei who kept eating finally giving his body the nutriance it rarely got before. After dinner and some movies it was time to get Rei to bed, they didn't exactly know what size Rei could fit but first it was bath time. Mirio filled the tub with warm water and bubbles since most little kids liked bubble baths. Mirio unwrapped the bandages Rei had before the other stripped off his shirt and shorts. Then getting into the tub, being in the tub brought a new feeling to the kid it felt strange but it was warm. Mirio helped wash up Rei, while washing the boy's hair. Mirio pushed the messy bangs out of his face and when Rei opened his eyes, Mirio was greeted by big icy blue eyes that shimmered into his own dark blue ones. When they finished up the bath Mirio wrapped him up in a towel and takes him to Rei's room. They'd have to go shopping so it'd be more kid friendly for his age. Nejire set out a t-shirt and shorts, it was a Sun-eater merch shirt that she thought would be cute on Rei. So Rei put on the shirt and shorts, the shirt reached his knees and made him look smaller. "You like the shirt Rei?" Rei nods, it was warm and he liked the design. "do you know what hero that is on there?" asked Mirio, earning a 'no' making them both giggle. "that's sun-eater, Tamaki." Hearing his name Tamaki walked in curiously "hm?" "Oh nothing babe we're just telling Rei this is your merch shirt" Nejire informed with a giggle seeing her elf boy blush, Mirio puts Rei on the bed seeing his hair fall back in front of his face he asked. "Rei do you want us to move your hair out of your face?" "N-n-no thank you..um?" Rei was twiddling his fingers while struggling to make words to ask them a question he had in his mind. "What is it hun?" nejire notices this, Tamaki comes over but is at a distance as to not make the kid feel crowded. "u-uum..so a-are you guys l-like all together?" Mirio grins and nods "yes we are, I know its a little weird since most couples are only two people but..we're a special type of couple." "o-okay, u-um s-so you are all my p-parents?" It felt odd to say the word parents, since that had been what the little boy missed for so long he honestly didn't know what parents are really supposed to do. "Yup we are" "Wh-what a-are parents suppose to do?" Hearing this question confused them then when the three thought about it, that made them a little sad for Rei. Nejire sat on the bed while she answered the question after she thought about it. "Well a good parent is supposed to be there for their child, do the best they can to raise and support them. They make sacrifices for their child to help learn and grow. They love them for who they are and accept them, and defend them when they can't defend themselves." Nejire says wondering what the boy's reaction would be. Biting his lip the small boy's shaky voice came out again. "I-I nev-never h-had good parents" Mirio softly pats his head in a kind way "that's why we signed up to be those good parents that you deserve. Nejire, Tamaki, and I are your parents and we love you Rei." Tamaki came over a little closer with a warm smile to confirm what the two had said. Rei then looked at Nejire "m-momma?" Nejire only giggles and nods, then Rei's eyes look to Tamaki who froze in place. "da-daddy?" His frozen state quickly warmed into a loving smile, Mirio was then faced with those shadowed eyes. "...Papa?" "That's perfect Rei, good job." Mirio grins making the little boy smile a bit then a yawn interrupts the sweet moment they were sharing making Nejire giggle. "Its late, you should get some sleep Rei." Rei nods and crawls up to pull back the bed sheets and get under them. Oh how lovely was it to sleep on something so warm and soft. Rei always wondered what it was like to sleep in a bed, this was like heaven to him. wrapped up in soft warm sheets the covered over his entire body, laying on the pillows felt like his head was laying on a cloud. Watching Rei get comfortable under the sheets, Nejire, Mirio, and Tamaki wished him good night. "I love you Rei" They managed to say in unison before leaving Rei to sleep soundly in his room. When they were all in bed, Nejire in the middle between the two males. Softly stroking her fingers through their hair, she hummed a soft tune before tamaki said. "I'm glad we took him in" Both nod in agreement "So am I, my heart wouldn't be able stand it if we didn't." "Neither would my conscience, I just hope that people wont try for him just because of our relationship. Our relationship is still frowned upon by society and he's already had a tough life." explained nejire "Well if he does we wont stand for it, and I hope he knows that." countered mirio with a yawn. Nejire gave them both sweet kisses before saying an. "I love you both so much" "we love you too~" It wasn't long before the big three was asleep.

My Hero Academia, Vols. 1-19
By Kohei Horikoshi | Published by VIZ Media
Reviewing nineteen volumes of a manga at once is a pretty daunting task, but here goes!
In a world where 80% of the population possesses superpowers known as “Quirks,” some people turned to villainy while others, officially trained and licensed, embarked upon careers of heroism to thwart them. Izuku Midoriya grew up idolizing heroes, particularly All Might, the Symbol of Peace, who always saves people with a smile. Unfortunately for Izuku, he was one of those unfortunate few without a Quirk and was forced to watch as his classmates and friends manifested abilities while he did not.
When Izuku is fourteen, he meets and impresses All Might when, despite being powerless, he rushes in to help his childhood friend Katsuki Bakugo when he is attacked by a sludge villain. As it turns out, All Might, who possesses a Quirk called One for All that endows him with super strength, was grievously injured several years previously in a battle with his nemesis, All for One. One for All is unique in that it can be passed on to a successor, and All Might has decided that Izuku is worthy of inheriting his power. All along, it’s been Izuku’s dream to attend U.A. High School and, after ten months of intensive training (and after ingesting one of All Might’s hairs), he succeeds in passing the entrance exam for U.A.’s Hero Course, much to Bakugo’s annoyance. (Bakugo believes he has been deceived about Izuku having been Quirkless all this time.)
Like many other shounen manga, part of the plot of My Hero Academia involves Izuku and the other students gradually getting stronger. Izuku goes through various stages of control over his power and eventually injures himself seriously to the point where he must switch to fighting primarily with his legs because his arms are so damaged. By volume nineteen, he can sustain 20% power only briefly, and All Might (who now teaches at U.A.) is training him how to, for the first time, add long-range attacks to his arsenal.
Meanwhile, just as Izuku is the protégé of All Might, All for One had taken a boy under his wing, as well. Tomura Shigaraki is a nihilistic villain with a particular grudge against All Might. He forms the League of Villains and so far has attempted to assassinate All Might at the school, attacked a training camp and kidnapped Bakugo, and ambushed a police caravan in order to steal Quirk-erasing drugs that had been seized from a former ally. While All Might exhausted the remainder of his powers to vanquish All for One, Shigaraki remains an active threat. Because of the power vacuum left by All Might’s retirement, the U.A. first years are able to take their provisional license exams earlier than normal and also go out into the field in work-study capacity.
The TL;DR version is: the plot is very good. Horikoshi-sensei writes with exuberance and mastery. However, the plot is not the reason I love My Hero Academia. I love it for the characters. I was thinking… I have read almost 90 volumes of One Piece by this point. Clearly, I enjoy it a lot and particularly admire the worldbuilding and continuity. However, while I’m fond of a few of the Straw Hats, I wouldn’t say I love any of them. Whereas with My Hero Academia, I love, like, ten of them. Here are some standouts:
• Izuku Midoriya – One of the things I really like about Izuku is that he’s smart. As a Quirkless hero fanboy, he spent a lot of time analyzing how they handled situations, and he’s good at coming up with strategies. Plus, he possesses all the idealistic qualities that a good shounen hero should have. He’s always out to help people, even if they don’t ask for it.
• Katsuki Bakugo – Bakugo has an explosive temper, but gradually reveals he’s a lot more sensitive that he lets on. Because of his volatile performance at the Sports Festival, Shigaraki targeted him, hoping to recruit him for the League of Villains. This ultimately led to All Might’s final confrontation with All for One, and Bakugo feels responsible that the Symbol of Peace (whom he also deeply admires) has been depowered. He’s the only one who knows Izuku’s secret and, after the most moving brawl I’ve ever seen in which he’s able to process some of the feelings he couldn’t express, he’s finally able to talk to Izuku without hostility. The day he actually smiles at Izuku, I will bawl.
• Shoto Todoroki – He became Izuku’s friend after the Sports Festival, in which Izuku encouraged him to finally embrace the half of his powers that came from his odious dad, #2 hero Endeavor. He’s still got a complex about his dad, but he’s working through it. And, for his part, Endeavor is trying to become a better hero, too, though he’s got a long way to go.
• Ochaco Uraraka – She’s a spunky girl who admires Izuku and has other feelings for him that she’s pushing aside for the moment. When she begins the series, she wants to become a hero for financial reasons, hoping to support her parents who’ve worked so hard. After her work study experience requires her to convey a dying hero to the hospital, she realizes in volume eighteen how much she just wants to save people. The monetary side has become less important.
• Eijiro Kirishima – Kirishima is just a supporting character until around volume fifteen, when he suddenly gets more fleshing out than even Ochaco or Ida (another of Izuku’s close friends) has received. He’s got an inferiority complex because his Quirk is purely defensive and castigates himself that he couldn’t help when Bakugo was taken. He presents himself as someone more confident and has a lot of noble ideals about what a hero should be, but I love that underneath that persona he’s a lot more complicated.
• Yuga Aoyama – In most other series, the kid who starts off being puffed up with pride over his own abilities (a naval laser!) would remain comic relief forever. But Horikoshi gives Aoyama several important heroic moments and, recently, he and Izuku have bonded over the fact that both of their Quirks cause them bodily harm, which doesn’t seem to be a problem for the other students. I would really love to see Aoyama star in his own arc.
• Mirio Togata – I was not prepared for the dizzying speed by which I’d come to love Mirio. He’s the one the principal (and All Might’s former sidekick, Sir Nighteye) originally had in mind as the next recipient of One for All. He’s optimistic and works hard and I love that he bears no grudge against Eri, a six-year-old girl that he lost his Quirk protecting. His return to heroism has been foreseen, so that’s something I’m looking forward to. His best friend Tamaki Amajiki is highly lovable, too.
• All Might – He’s not the greatest teacher, but he’s really trying hard. He serves as a father figure to Izuku and says encouraging things to him that make me verklempt, like “You’ve already exceeded my expectations more times than I can count. In my heart of hearts, I believe there’s something special in you and you alone.” That’s some Rupert Giles-y dialogue right there! And man, that battle with All for One.
• Shota Aizawa – I saved the best for last. Aizawa is the homeroom teacher for class I-A and I love him so, so much. He is a great teacher and puts a lot of thought into how best to encourage development in his students. One of my favorite Aizawa moments occurs at a press conference when he expresses absolute faith that Bakugo will not be tempted to join the League of Villains. “More than anyone, he pursues the title of top hero with all he has.” Later, during a home visit with Bakugo’s parents to discuss the new on-campus dormitories, Bakugo’s mom reveals how much she appreciated this proof that her son has been understood by his educators. “Most everything comes easy to him. His whole life, people’ve made a fuss about him… praising him for every little thing he does.” Aizawa sees Bakugo’s potential but also doesn’t let any of his shortcomings slide. I love, too, how he helps take care of Eri and buys her outfits with kitties on them.
Barring one, the other students in class 1-A are great, too, and I hope they get their own arcs as revelatory as Kirishima’s recent one. And then there’s class 1-B, who we’ve only glimpsed, as well as Hitoshi Shinso, a boy from the General Studies Course who may have the potential to transfer to the Hero Course.
Alas, there’s one thing and one particular character that I don’t love about My Hero Academia.
• Although the female characters are impressively varied in character design and personality and are always included in various heroic endeavors (and their abilities respected by the male characters), they just don’t get as much of the spotlight as the guys do. True, Ashida and Jiro are more to the fore during the School Festival arc, which is very welcome, but I want to see them out in the field kicking some serious ass.
• Minoru Mineta – Unlike the other students who’ve grown over the course of the series, Mineta starts off as a gross little pervert, remains a gross little pervert, and there’s zero indication that he’ll ever be anything other than a gross little pervert. He doesn’t see girls as people, but as objects, evaluated solely for their attractiveness. In fact, his first words to Eri in volume nineteen—who is, I reiterate, six years old—are, “Look me up in ten years.” I want Shigaraki to use his disintegration Quirk on him. Slowly. And then Shinso can have his spot.
Ultimately, I love this series unabashedly. I love it as much as I love Hikaru no Go, and that’s a lot. And as with Hikaru, I love the anime just as much as the manga and recommend both. It took until volume nineteen to make it to October of Izuku’s first year, so at that pace, we’re looking at around 38 volumes per school year times three years… Sounds good to me! I will plug my ears and go “la la la!” if anyone ever mentions a time jump. This is really too good to rush. Or miss.
My Hero Academia is ongoing in Japan, where volume 24 will be out in August. Volume 20 is due out in English in August. New chapters are also available in English on the Shonen Jump website and app.

BRIEF
Write about an aspect of cultural understanding and creative practice in Aotearoa New Zealand. You can choose your own topic (pending approval from your lecturer) or choose an option from the list below.
5 visual texts, and 2 written texts from the library to inform your writing. All sources, visual and textual, need to be cited using MLA referencing style.
5 images to discuss how the topic is addressed in the creative work of others.
why this image? what is important about this specific image?
context to understand image? - where, when. who
describe what is in the image that makes it important for your topic?
what does the image evidence of cultural understanding or/and creative practice in Aotearoa?
what links can you make between your image and the powhiri reading?
treaty signing in tent painting
the image is set on 6 feb 1840 in a tent on the Waitangi grounds. it is about the Maori and the English coming together and signing the treaty. there are lots of guards, important British people like william busby, and chiefs of Maori tribes. it is the documentation that both the maori and British did intact sign and it wasn’t just fraud.
In saying that, it is only a representation of what the artist thought happened. this has visible signs as it shows how many people where in the tent and how formal the day was.
there is a large contrast shown between the maori and the British by their skin colour, what they are wearing, how they do their hair, there were more british than Maori and how they are waiting (maori are sitting and english are standing). there were no maori or cultural flags for the maori but all of the European flags where hanging and there was even the Japanese flag which the British had nothing to do with. the image is evidence of cultural understanding and creative practice because it is apart of New Zealand's history and this significant day is what has caused so many problems which still lead onto today.
where is the image come from
why did i pick this one image-
artist- their version of it, how the artist painting pictures. artist manipulation. why they have done it that way. at the moment of signing, not hours of dibating
this is a post stamp that came out in 1350. it is an image of the Maori arriving in New Zealand. they look to be falling off their boats and onto the shores. they look to be starving and thirsty. they are creating the idea that the Maori arrived in New Zealand on accident as their navigation tequincs are based around the stars and where they are in the sky. for the *** previous HW info!*** keeping the voiding going, following the pathways of ancestors

this shows cultural understanding because it shows what the British thought of the Maori and their way of doing things. their is a very racist element of discrimination against the Maori in the image which is still around today
this image is the arrival of the British to New Zealand. they look to have had a pleasant trip and arrived with plenty to share. they are meeting the Maori for the first time. they are dressed very well and there are plenty of them.
light image, methodical shading, tidy, proper, beautiful background.

part 1
TIKANGA (in downloads)
tikanga: a Maori ceremony
tika: means to be correct or to be right
pono: means to be genuine and to be true
tuturu: means to be permanent, long term and long lasting.
“principles or standards of behaviour”; pono, tuturu and values
i have never heard of these words before i read this reading, or maybe i have but didn’t recognise them. i have learnt the meaning now but it hasn’t changed over the year because i didn’t know what they meant till now. i find when people say Maori words that i dont understand they go straight though one ear and out the other side, especially when no one explains the meaning of them. i only briefly learnt Maori in primary school and haven’t really learnt it since. i think that if we learnt Maori through out the years at school like they do in other countries then we would all know the Maori language better and i would have known these words. unfortualtly because i have never heard of them my understanding hasn’t changed over the last year but overnight. they went from having no meaning to an english translation.
part 2
Explain, through words or drawing, how you would enact that value within the physical space of a classroom.
Mana = concept away form domination and control
spiritual
mana enhancing art- tells stories about collective identity, relationships that we should have and spiritual reality.
eg hand woven mats, functional perpose, uplifting values and strength sensing of integrity.
mana could have fall in the physical space of a classroom as it is about whole heartedness, moral courage and creating harmony which is exactly what would be good in the classroom. mana enhancing art is about telling stories about collective identity, relationships that we should have and spiritual reality. an example of making this is hand woven mats, functional perpose, uplifting values and strength sensing of integrity which is a great activity for kids to learn and use but it also has the strong culture and spiritual background too. One of the functions of visual art is to communicate values and knowledge, in a language that speaks to our spirit. its about putting a positive message in the art and also looking beyond the approach to see the values its presenting.

Mitsuki Izumi Twelve Hits! Rabbit Chat Part 3: Request Hits 2
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 4 | Part 5
Mitsuki: Sorry for making you all wait! I'm fine now!
Tsumugi: Now that everyone has returned, let's resume the questions. There's still some left to go!
Tsumugi: Mitsuki-san, it's your turn!
Mitsuki: My request for myself is to read one extra bit of mail from the listeners!
Tsumugi: Mail?
Mitsuki: I can't do anything about the fact that there's too many messages for me to read, but I wanted to read at least one more than I normally would. I'm sure all the people who send mail put a lot of effort into it.
Tenn: You care just as much for your fans, then.
Mitsuki: They're basically like a treasure to me!
Mitsuki: But I guess I also wanna introduce them to everyone, so they can listen to the kind of mail I get!
Tenn: Your fans must like that, too. Knowing that the things they send make you so happy.
Tsumugi: Kujo-san's right! Thank you for a lovely request.
Tsumugi: Yamato-san, you're next!
Yamato: Tell us about your shady past.
Yamato: How's that?
Mitsuki: Uh... My shady past~!?
Mitsuki: I bet you typed that out with the smuggest look on your face, lol
Yamato: You've got the image of this cheerful and energetic guy, don't you have anything that could change that? (lol)
Iori: Wait. That's enough.
Iori: Our agency can't allow that, right, manager?
Tsumugi: Huh!?
Iori: Nii-san has no shady past, and we're not going to do anything that would mess up his image.
Yamato: Wait, how would you know?
Iori: I don't, either. Since I'm a perfect high schooler.
Tamaki: Huh? You don't? I bet you totally do, though
Iori: Quiet.
Yamato: Don't you wanna find out, Ichi?
Mitsuki: Hey, Iori. Why are you taking so long to reply to this one? lol
Iori: I-I'm sorry, Nii-san.
Tsumugi: As far as our agency goes, I suppose it would depend on what exactly his "shady past" entails! We should discuss this later, Yamato-san and Mitsuki-san!
Tsumugi: Yaotome-san, it's time for your request!
Gaku: Oh, my turn. I guess mine would be to give a message to yourself in 10 years.
Mitsuki: Aaaagh, that one sounds super embarrassing, lololol
Gaku: Why? Don't you have stuff you wanna do or be? Might as well let it all out for this show.
Gaku: I don't care if it's serious or not.
Mitsuki: Stuff I wanna do or be... Yeah, of course I have something like that!
Mitsuki: But it's embarrassing!
Mitsuki: First you ask me about my past, and now it's my future. Though at least you're not asking me to talk about anything shady, lololol
Yamato: Your shady past could involve something really moving, couldn't it?
Gaku: Like what? (lol)
Tsumugi: You're both very eager to know more about Mitsuki-san!
Mitsuki: I don't think I'll be any different by then!
Mitsuki: But I guess I'll think of something. Thanks, Yaotome! And you too, geezer!
Gaku: Yeah. You're welcome.
Yamato: No problem.
Tsumugi: That was a heartwarming request! Thank you, Yaotome-san!
Tsumugi: Tsunashi-san, are you ready?
Ryunosuke: I want some fanservice from Mitsuki-kun!
Mitsuki: Wha...
Mitsuki: I laughed so hard I spilled my coffee!!!
Mitsuki: Fanservice!? From me? To you?
Ryunosuke: When I see you do fanservice during lives, I find myself thinking about how cool you are for responding to each and every fan. And your fans look really happy about it.
Ryunosuke: I want to follow your example!
Mitsuki: No, wait, hold on..! Your fanservice is already so manly and sexy that it nearly makes your fans faint, so wouldn't improving on it any more than that be dangerous..!?
Ryunosuke: So you can't do it? I guess it would be difficult, since this is a radio broadcast we're talking about...
Momo: It's a great idea~! I wanna get some fanservice from Mitsuki, too!
Yuki: It does sound nice. Do something wild for me
Mitsuki: Wild, lololol
Mitsuki: Wait, I need to do it for Momo-san and Yuki-san, too!?
Riku: Me! Me! I want some, too!
Nagi: As do I.
Tamaki: And me.
Iori: You're all in the same group as him!
Riku: Ah... but he could do it for me during his unit song!
Nagi: Not for me, however... :,-(
Mitsuki: I'll do it for you guys at the dorm, lololol
Nagi: Thank you. You are a wonderful, service-oriented idol!
Riku: Yay!
Tamaki:
Sogo: We'll have to build a stage in the living room.
Yamato: This is getting pretty serious (lol)
Ryunosuke: That's great, you three!
Mitsuki: As for Tsunashi-san and the others, can we just agree that I'll do it in case I happen to draw that request on air?
Ryunosuke: Thank you, Mitsuki-kun! I'll be praying that you draw my request.
Momo: (o'3`d)☆
Yuki: (o'3`d)☆
Mitsuki: Aaaah! This is all just so embarrassing... lol
Tsumugi: I'm sure it'll make for a fun corner if Tsunashi-san's request is chosen!
Tsumugi: Momo-san, it's your turn.
Momo: Okay! My request is that Mitsuki takes a crack at breaking my stick-and-ball record!
Momo: The two of us have been pretty into it lately~. It'll be a good change of pace, and it's fun, too!
Mitsuki: You mastered the around-the-world technique the other day, didn't you!
Momo: Yep! The combo! But I still mess it up most of the time~.
Mitsuki: The hole in the ball always ends up somewhere random the more you keep doing moves.
Mitsuki: I guess it's better to just do one move at a
Mitsuki: ...Sorry, lol I got way too into this, lol
Momo: This turned into a stick-and- ball chat, lol
Yuki: You're like a pair of boys
Momo: I am a boy, Darling lololol
Mitsuki: But about your request, I think it'd be difficult to do over radio. They'd only be able to hear me playing...
Momo: Ohoho! That's where your in-depth live commentary comes in!
Mitsuki: Huh!? I have to talk while I play?
Mitsuki: Wouldn't that be really difficult!?
Momo: That's what makes it fun~! We can practice together some more before your show (∩´∀`)∩
Mitsuki: I could definitely use that, lol
Tsumugi: It's an unexpected request, but it sounds fun!
Tsumugi: Yuki-san, we need one final request from you!
Yuki: My request is a cooking song
Mitsuki: A cooking song?
Yuki: Like a cooking version of those songs they use to teach kids how to draw things. You're a great cook, so I want you to sing some recipes I don't know.
Mitsuki: Sing, lololol
Mitsuki: Why do I need to sing, lololol
Momo: Because the parody song from Yamato's show was so funny to him, I guess? After he heard it, he was doubled over and shaking for a pretty long while, lol
Yuki: It was so funny I almost couldn't breathe
Mitsuki: Ah, that song, lolol
Yamato: Aaaaaaaaaahhh
Yamato: Let's not talk about that!!!
Yuki: Thank you for singing such a lovely song for me, Yamato-kun ^^
Yamato: You better watch out once your turn rolls around...
Mitsuki: I've never made a song before, but I'll think about it, lol I've got a few recipes from my grandma that use wild herbs, would that do?
Yuki: Wild herbs sound good. They're perfect for this time of the year, too.
Tsumugi: I'd like to hear Mitsuki-san's cooking song, too!
Tsumugi: I've got all of your requests. Thank you all for the fun ideas!
Mitsuki: Thank you!
Momo: So now it's time for Mitsuki to come up with requests for the rest of us ★
Sogo: Ask anything, Mitsuki-san.
Choices/outcomes:
1. Do you have a request for us?
Mitsuki: That's the thing, I don't have anything in particular. You eat everything I cook without complaints, and I love you guys!
2. Do you have a request for TRIGGER?
Mitsuki: I want to have dinner with all three of them! I get to see Kujo even more rarely than the others, so let me arrange something!
3. Do you have a request for Re:vale?
Mitsuki: Feel free to invite us on your show whenever! I'll think of some project we can do together, lol
Mitsuki: Just being able to keep having fun with you is enough for me, though!
Yuki: It's almost your birthday, so you could at least ask us to rent an entire island for your party.
Momo: Would you even go to a party on an island!?
Yuki: Yeah? But I'd only stay indoors
Iori: If that's what Nii-san wants, I'll look around for an island we could rent.
Mitsuki: I think a room at a karaoke place is more than enough for me, lol
Yuki: It's still a little early, but. Happy birthday
Ryunosuke: Happy birthday! Do your best at the radio show!
Momo: ・:*:・:(*P'v`q)☆ Happy Birthday dear Mitsuki ☆(*P'v`q):・:*:・ I'll message you about our stick-and-ball practice later!
Tenn: Happy birthday.
Gaku: Happy birthday. Talk to you again sometime!
Banri: Happy birthday, Mitsuki-kun! Thank you for being IDOLiSH7's cheerful mood maker. I hope you'll have another great year!
Rinto: Happy birthday!
Kaoru: Happy birthday. I hope you'll continue to treat our boys well.
Tsumugi: And a happy birthday from me, as well!
Mitsuki: Wow! Thank you! It makes me really happy that you're always celebrating with me..!
Mitsuki: I'm gonna keep working on becoming a new me, so I hope you'll support me!
Nagi: Mitsuki, I will not wish you a happy birthday yet. Our special night together has only just begun.
Sogo: A special night... When Nagi-kun says that, it kind of makes your heart race.
Tamaki: We're pretty used to it by now, though
Mitsuki: Thanks to you guys, too! I'll do my best with the broadcast!
