lowkey… comparing splashtail to hawkfrost is a disservice to hawkfrost. listen I know we’re starving but to chow down on wet mcdonalds trash and imagine it being anything close to five guys, even in a bizarro situation, is not the way!!

i can sort of get the hawkfrost and splashtail comparisons on a very surface level analysis, but other than that....eh. hawkfrost is executed terribly in canon (imo) but he has a lot of surrounding factors that make him interesting (him being half-clan in a xenophobic clan, his relationship with tigerstar and sasha, tadpole, his abuse of mothwing, etc). meanwhile splashtail i guess has vaguely abused a medic? wants power? but that's about it. the writers are so disinterested in exploring their female cast that we don't even get any mothwing/hawkfrost parallels with splashtail and fognose (because heaven FORBID we give a sister in this series a chance to actually have a role in the story!)
