this is quite the task (also i had a draft of this post that got eaten lol) + it’s been a bit since i’ve been deep into classpects

as a quick blocking-in of my own perspectives;

Marco as a Mind player, likely a Mage of Mind - knowing of it, primarily for himself, but he does share & contribute enough of it to the group’s benefit that I can see him as a Seer. Not just because *he* thinks, but because he looks into how others think and strategize to exploit that.

Rachel fits best as a Rage player; not just for being angry, but for challenging expectations and refusing to settle. I’d place her as Prince of Rage. However - given that the combination of class and aspect can transform the individual parts - I could also see her as something like a Rogue of Doom, stealing/redistributing Doom to benefit her team; changing out who dies and who doesn’t by her own actions. Or something like that.

Tobias is very close to Breath already; freedoms, detaching from his old life, being mostly self-determined. I’m leaning towards Heir of Breath, since having this freedom uproots him and allows him to fill a very different role, but you could also argue Knight of Breath, or potentially Page of Breath at more of a stretch. (As ‘providing others freedom’, which he does for Ket and Jara, and could be said to have freed the other Animorphs from the decision to let the asteroid hit and kill the Mercora or head home.)

Cassie I wouldn’t place as Life, despite the face resemblance; I’d actually put her as Hope. She has strong ideals against killing or needless violence (while understanding predators and the need for their existence still), and has the optimistic belief that they can negotiate a peaceful end to the Yeerk War. I think both Maid of Hope and Knight of Hope could fit, potentially Sylph of Hope. I could also agree with Space, which another person in tags already suggested.

Jake I’m less sure of. Light, Doom, Time, Blood? Light as far as intuition and seeing what to focus on; Doom as far as orchestrating or pruning it more passively/through command, ie Bard of Doom; Time under the interpretation of the aspect as timing, or things coming together in their place; and Blood as far as being a uniting influence, plying the bonds between people, as he’s the only one of the group who definitively has a well-defined tie with each of the others, being Rachel’s cousin, mutual crush with Cassie, protecting Tobias, best friends with Marco, and considered Prince by Ax. Any of the others have loose connections to at least one of the group. Maybe like a Seer of Blood, or potentially even Heir or Page of Blood ??

Ax I’m less sure about. I’d actually put him as Blood before I would Jake; bonds aren’t all there is to Blood, and Ax doesn’t necessarily have to have deep bonds already for them to be important to him as a character. I’d also consider Rogue of Blood for him, as compromising/benefitting from his bonds or duty for the sake of others, but perhaps instead Knight of Blood…

As far as playing a proper SBURB session? In order to *win* the Game in one session, you’ve got to have a Space player to actually have frogs to breed, and likely a Knight to help with raising the Frogs. If you don’t have those conditions, you need a Time player in order to Scratch/‘reboot’ the Session for a chance to win with a different playerset. Space is easy if you give that to Cassie, and I think Knight best befits Ax, so there’s your Genesis Frog/new universe-breeding pair. Or, if Cassie is instead Hope, you could try to work Jake into being Time…

I know you didn't get into Homestuck but on the offchance your followers have opinions what would the Animorph's classpects be?

Bruce: My assassin kid can't be that normal!

Damian: Well, I’m completely emotionally stable by Amity Park standards. The problem is with you. Obviously.

Damian had long found peace and home in Amity, so he did not worry that the new family and Gotham might not accept him.

Sure, Al Ghul had lived without any contact with his biological father all these years but he could safely say that he had a happy childhood. First years were hard and he was raised more as a weapon than a human being. Even so, after that a ghost who decided to become his brother appeared and everything changed.

Damian still does not know what Ra's owes Phantom but Danny has a right to take him, without prior notification, to live with Fentons, to visit Aunt Alicia at her farm, and to make Vlad’s weekends much less calm and boring. Danny jokes that he just steals him as a hostage when Al Ghul does not pay taxes for using Lazarus Pits. Whatever the reason, he already has a family that loves him.

However, he still wanted to make an effort to fit in this one too. The model of conduct certainly was his older brother. No, not the oldest, of course. To be honest Dan wasn’t the kind of a man that could charm you from the first minute. But Danny, in Damian’s experience, had a calming effect on people. So he tried to act like him.

And, yeah, for lack of experience, he was more fun!Danny at home and super!Danny on patrol but he also really tried not to get any of his own assassin personality in his new-self and was tired of it. He couldn’t get a 100% match. Fine. Still doesn’t look like anyone in this house really likes him, so whatever.

Damian understood why Bruce didn't like his company. Jazz had long ago explained to him the importance of voluntary consent. His mother did a terrible thing. Al Ghul was not a child and therefore he was ready to admit it. However, he also understood that children were not responsible for the actions of their parents.

As a biosocial being, he wanted to be more than just a painful reminder of what had happened to Bruce. Wayne's ignoring of his existence was rude. But Damian wouldn't force this man to spend time with him just because he was legally obligated to take care of his well-being. He wasn't going to prove anything to Batman, and he definitely didn't need his attention. The care of his real family is enough.

But Damian really tried to get along with new potential siblings. He even shared Sam's and Danny’s special jokes with some of adopted kids 'cause he didn’t want them to feel like he put himself above them. He wasn't good at showing emotions but he was as open as the assassin could afford to be to strangers.

But they all obviously expected something from him. And it reminded him of the League in an unpleasant way. It was easier with Fentons. Almost everyone in Amity Park was saying what they thought, and Damian didn’t have to waste time decoding potential conspiracies.

Damian missed movie marathon nights with Sam, Tucker, and Danny. And he hoped Dani had time to bother Vlad in his absence.

It was so weird here. When Danny and Valerie were fighting, they would gather at the dinner table anyway. When Damian wanted to have combat training with Drake here, he was forced to stay in his room. A very strange punishment. And undeserved one too.

Al Ghul felt quite calm and fine sitting at his easel and painting the people he left behind. An unusual subject for his paintings. But, Ancients, he missed Amity.

He missed Jack's bone breaking hugs, Maddie's Ecto-Contaminated food, arguments of Sam and Tucker, cozy art class with Mr. Baxter and even Vlad's done look. He missed Danny telling him about the stars. He also missed sword practice with Dan's boyfriend Fright Knight and he missed Dan's stories about his other youth. He missed literary evenings with Mr. Lancer, Clockwork and Ghost Writer. He even missed the hours-long Jazz lectures. He missed the dance of death and life. He missed being looked at without expecting anything from him. He missed the crowd. In the league, he was never at one with himself and in Amity he was always surrounded by people who were not afraid of his fate as the heir to the said League. This Manor was full of people, but for the first time in his life he felt lonely. Damian has to admit that he felt left behind. Of course, he understood that people needed time to build relationships, but he could have sworn that even he didn't need that much time to connect with Fentons. Maybe this is one of the tricks of the Clockwork? Then this one is not funny at all.

~~~~~Phone call~~~~ Damian: Mom, I want to go home. Maddie: I'm so sorry to hear that, sweetheart. What happened? Damian: Just…Nobody likes me. Why was I sent here? I'm not weak. And my brothers are quite capable of protecting me from Raas. I don't need Batman for this. Maddie: We'll figure it out, champ. Moms love you, remember? I'll talk to Talia, okay? Obviously this one is from Jason. And well, Damian doesn't think it was a pun on his life in Amity, more like Hood's inside joke about death but Dami will definitely leave this thing in the room at the Manor and maybe take it with him to the GZ or Amity Park.

When they gather at the festive table, Damian realizes that he has to make some kind of speech. He tries to be as brief as possible in his report.

Damian: Todd, your gift is appreciated. And I found a potential use for items that were given by others, Bruce.

Damian never called Batman his father. With Maddie and Talia, calling both moms wasn't weird, especially when Jazz explained to his biological mom that he wasn't trying to replace her. But with Wayne, it was different. Both women took care of him, they deserved this title. Wayne provided for his needs, but his core heart didn't feel like they were close. Surely there's nothing wrong if they're just Bruce and Damian? Obviously, they both don't enjoy each other's company.

No one plays with fate without his permission unless they want to get hit by the clock. Tim now looks like he's going to throw up and Damian hurries to move his plate closer to him. Jason: Yes, Bruce, this is definitely your son. Damian: Did I say something wrong? Dick smiles faintly at him but still doesn't find anything to say. Damian shrugs and goes back to eating asparagus. People outside of Amity are so weird.

Signal looks at Damian suspiciously as he carefully rearranges the plate of soy sausages away from himself. Did he take him for an idiot? Everyone knows that even vegetarian sausage bite and fight no worse than those with meat when they come back to life. It's not Damian's fault that he doesn't have an ectoblast with him and wants to have extra distance from the opponent.

I love this idea! Jack definitely knows how to channel puppy energy to his advantage, and my MC Alice definitely falls for it every time.

In fact, I love this idea so much that it inspired me to turn it into a quick writing prompt. I also remembered that I owe everyone a nice little Jack x reader fic from the poll I made last year, so I wrote this writing exercise in 1st person gender neutral perspective.

It was nice to have moments like this, just the two of us on the couch cuddled up together. The way Jack wrapped me up in his big, strong arms made me feel so safe, so content. Even though I was tucked comfortably in his lap, he practically surrounded me with his warmth. It was the perfect way to spend a day off from work.

The show on TV was entertaining, but it wasn’t enough to draw my attention away from Jack for long. He didn’t seem to be paying attention to it at all. Every time I looked up at him, I never failed to see those beautiful dark brown eyes of his gazing back at me. His mouth was shaped in a gentle curve of a smile, his expression almost dreamy as he admired me with so much love and adoration in his eyes that it sent my heart racing. I had to look away when the butterflies in my chest fluttered so hard they were ready to burst out of me.

Fuck, I was so down bad for this man, I was down atrocious.

A gloved finger brushed against my cheek, slowly tracing the contours of my face until reaching my chin. The sensation sent a delicious shiver down my spine, and my eyes returned to Jack as he gently guided my face back towards him.

“Looks like the show’s over,” Jack said. I blinked, caught off-guard, before my eyes darted to the screen to see the credits scrolling by. His honeyed voice drew me back before I could get distracted from his loving gaze for long. “What do you want to do now, sunshine?”

The first thought that popped into my head made my cheeks burn and brought back those damn butterflies. The second thought reminded me to check the time.

Ah damn it. Curse must-watch binge-worthy television. Why must I always fall for your siren song of “just one more episode”?

“Not run errands, that’s for sure, but it’s getting late,” I said with a heavy sigh, banishing the butterflies and steamy thoughts to whence they came. “Groceries aren’t going to buy themselves, and I’ve got a bunch of other stuff I should get out of the way while I’m out too.” I sighed again, shoulders slumping.

Being a responsible adult dealing with all the responsible adult bullshit sucked sometimes. A lot of the time. Actually probably most of the time considering how many hours in a day got eaten up by a cringy job and entitled customers.

I twisted away from Jack and tried to stand, but his large muscular arms kept me locked up tighter than iron bars. I turned back to him with a questioning look, only to see him pouting at me.

“I know it’s important to be responsible, sunshine, but don’t you think you’ve been pushing yourself too hard lately?” he asked. “We have plenty of food to last a few more days, and you’ve been working overtime for the past five nights in a row. You come home too exhausted to do anything but sleep, then you go right back to work. It’s not good for you.”

“I know,” I said with a helpless shrug. “But what can I do about it? Bills aren’t going to pay themselves either.”

Jack adjusted his hold on me, not enough that I could slip free, but I could feel his hands glide slowly along my back, sending a shiver up my spine. “I know, but it’s just been so long since we’ve had any cuddle time,” he said, his pout making its way into his voice now.

I couldn’t help but chuckle a little at the way his lower lip jutted out just a little further. “You see me every day,” I teased, trying to lighten up the mood. “Besides, we woke up cuddling this morning, didn’t we? You sleep with me every night.”

“You’ve been too tired to cuddle lately,” Jack said, whining a little. “Even this morning, you didn’t really wake up until halfway through breakfast. This is the first chance in days that I’ve had to really have you all to myself.” He dipped his head down, closer to mine, and I couldn’t help but notice the way the TV’s gentle glow made his dark eyes shine. “I missed you, sunshine.”

His big soulful eyes tugged at my heartstrings, and his gentle caress along my back made me want to melt into him. “I missed you too,” I admitted after a moment. We couldn’t exactly talk when other people were around, and work had been too busy for us to even sneak a kiss without the risk of getting caught in the act.

 I was pretty sure Jack wouldn’t mind even if someone else could see him making out with me. In fact, I had a sneaking suspicion that he might even enjoy getting caught. Sometimes this man acted like he had no idea what it meant to feel shame.

Then again, Jack was always painted up like a clown 24/7. If he wasn’t embarrassed by the bright face paint or his silly jokes, then he probably didn’t know the meaning of the word.

Sometimes I wished that I could say the same. The idea of being seen making weird faces while holding onto the air left me feeling a level of cringe that not even the greeting at my job could match. It probably would be a kiss with tongue too knowing Jack.

The thought left me burning, both with mortification and the memory of the way his kisses made me feel.

Maybe it would be worth the embarrassment considering how good of a kisser Jack was.

As if reading my mind, Jack brushed his lips against mine, just a peck, but it was enough to snap my attention entirely to my boyfriend. “Then stay with me,” he said with a hint of desperation to his breathy voice. “Please?” He planted another kiss on my lips, just a little longer but still only a tantalizing taste of what he could offer me. “I need you.”

Jack finished off the last of my resistance by saying my name in that same pleading tone while looking at me with so much love and need in his beautiful dark brown eyes. His desperate voice and puppy dog eyes made me melt like cotton candy in water.

I gave in to him. I couldn’t help it. I was weak to him when he begged me like this, and I needed Jack just as badly as he needed me.

“Jack,” I sighed as I looped my arms around his neck and drew Jack in for another kiss. I could feel him smile against my lips, and he murmured my name again before his tongue slid into my mouth to get a taste of me.

Soon I was pinned against the couch, breathless and panting, with Jack looming above me. His arms were a cage that secured me there and ensured that I wasn’t leaving anytime soon. Everyone is always given a chore, Rhaast included. He’s not happy about it but Kayn convinced him by saying if he’d rather deal with Yone giving them an hour long lecture or if he’d rather listen in on K’Sante and Sett discussing workout notes (and almost get invited). Rhaast didn’t like either, so he does his chore once Kayn was done with his. Rhaast does tend to stall him though.

K’Sante is a pretty good chef and is usually the one to cook. Sure Sett is the best cook according to Aphelios BUT LET ME LIVE MY DREAM REAL QUICK. Anyway Sett remembers a ton of his mom’s recipes and likes sharing them. The two work together on that since K’Sante is always up for making something new.

Speaking of Sett’s mom, she sometimes visits and brings them some baked treats. Everyone’s usually on their best behavior around her since Sett made it pretty clear to not cause trouble around her. Kayn and Ezreal got dragged by him because they couldn’t behave, but that only happened once.

Ezreal’s social is full of selfies but there is also the occasional photo of food. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. You’ll find all kinds. Sometimes it’s food that was cooked in their shared house, from a restaurant, or it’s the baked goods that Sett’s mom brings in. Sometimes one of the other members leave comments ranging from Alune wishing she’d have a bite to Kayn and/or Aphelios outright saying they’re going to steal it.

I may have mentioned this before but I will say it again. Kayn and K’Sante sometimes run into each other late at night, though it’s really just K’Sante finding Kayn or Rhaast getting a late night snack or he sees the light in Kayn’s room still on. It sometimes leads to them having some deep conversation with K’Sante seeing a side of Kayn no one else would see. These conversations are strictly between them, of course.

Yone and K’Sante are the most trusted drivers of the group with Yone being the one who can drive for long periods of time (blame the cold brew). Like, I’m talking driving from state to state if he has to. Those two always take the front seats too.

This one wasn’t actually my idea but I thought it’s a really nice one. Kayn can draw and he has a secret sketchbook with doodles of the other members. Aphelios did find it while he was trying to play a prank on him and ended up backing out on his prank idea because it made his heart melt. The secret’s safe with him.

Sett definitely cried once over Ernest. You know that video of that girl crying over a dog named Mila? Yeah, that’s him.

Aphelios’ bed is about 80% plushies. Sett always finds a new one once every week and wonders how his bed isn’t 100% covered in plushies yet. He sometimes finds his own plushies hidden in the pile. Now he knows where they disappeared to.

Aphelios is also usually buried in a huge pile of them and it’s kinda funny to see him emerge from the pile…until you get smacked in the face with a plushie. Speaking of, Aphelios can easily beat everyone in a pillow fight. Pentakill!

Ezreal actually makes all of the stickers of the members himself and just slaps them wherever he can. Yone found some on the case that holds his drones, sometimes they were just slapped onto the floor (yes the carpet), the walls, counters, seats. Anywhere that’s a flat surface. He slapped one on Kayn’s back and was then chased around the house up until Yone stopped both of them.

Kayn once watched in horror how Sett put ramen in a microwave for a maximum of 5 seconds before taking it out and dumping it all into his mouth. He then told Akali about it. Aphelios has a video of the event and has it uploaded somewhere.

Rhaast likes to use Kayn’s magic to manipulate it into appearing as horns whenever he fronts. Kayn says he looks ridiculous but Rhaast thinks otherwise.

Ezreal once blipped out of his bed and into the living room with a loud thud. He was fine, but it woke up the entire group as a result and it’s sometimes brought up randomly. He’s not entirely sure why it happened it the first place now.

Sett made everyone matching beanies with a neat little twist on some of them to match each member. Rhaast’s face is on Kayn’s, Ezreal has stars on his, Aphelios has the moon, Yone’s mask is on his, and K’Sante has some weight lifts. Ernest has one too. Sett was pretty passionate about making these and wanted all of them to be perfect, so it definitely took a while.

Notes* I’m glad I’ve gotten the chance to meet these three already! I definitely think a relationship with one of them would be tricky, let alone three. So here are my thoughts on a poly relationship with these boys!

Ichiji, Niji & Yonji

The relationship had started without a plan or a label. You were simply… chosen one day and told by Ichiji that you were to be his personal handmaid. What you didn’t know is that would entail more duties than what you had signed up for when you began your work with Germa 66

It became more and more obvious that Ichiji liked you and that he just… Couldn’t express that. He simply labeled you as his one day and then you two were a couple. There wasn’t much input you could have on the situation

Of course, his brothers also decided they wanted to be involved and it became a whole thing

They’re always arguing over you. Jealousy runs high- so high that they’re not afraid to bring it outside for a fight just to decide who gets to sit next to you

A walk around the castle with his arm around your waist, having you sit in his lap and making out in the library, and the like

Yonji is the most expressive out of the three and a beast with his words. He knows just what to say to make you feel special- often showering you with compliments. He likes to whisper things to you whenever he passes by as well, whether it be a sweet compliment of your outfit and how it looks on you, or a heated promise of a late night visit later. Yonji is awful with dates and tends to forget to organize them or just loses interest in whatever you’re doing together quickly. You usually take the reins on your ‘dates’, and end up doing things that are quick or simple together

You’re not sure if Judge approves of you or if he even knows of the situation. You’re not going to be the one to tell him, that’s for sure

this is so damn self indulgent and not really as much of a fic but more just my thoughts on Baizhu, so like slightly suggestive? That's like the only warning I have other than this is NOT proofread and will just be word vomit

I am 100% under the belief that Baizhu is a touchy person, like he will not get his hands off you. Before you two started dating he would leave little fleeting touches, to your shoulders, to your hands, to your thighs, etc. he just loves the feeling of your skin, even if for a few seconds.

When you two do start dating, good luck trying to get away from him. He will do everything holding your hand, with you in his lap, or just the two of you pressed close together, he just wants to always be near you!

"I am well aware, and it isn't bothering me, I don't know what you are talking about." Changsheng let out a grumble as she makes her way back up his arm and around his shoulders.

On the flip side, he is a NIGHTMARE to deal with if he is sick (well, more sick than he normally is). I mean he's literally dying, what's a little bit of extra coughing going to do to him? You are actually going to have to lock him in his room. Or lock yourself in there with him, at least you'll keep him occupied for longer till he tries to escape back to work.

He also will refuse to admit he's sick, like changsheng is at a point where shes begging you to make him lie down for a day or two. Yet he continues to brush off both of you, he always insists there is more work to be done. Even if you get him out right to admit that he's sick, he's still gonna try and take care of himself. He'll try to find all the medicine himself, make his own food etc., just because he doesn't want you to get sick too.

Back to him being touchy (sorry I was talking to my friend while I was writing they brought the being sick thing up) anyway, I think even if he's touchy, he's not a big fan of PDA. Like if you two are just around bubu pharmacy he will always be at the very least holding your hand, but when you two are out and about that's like the most he will do. It's not that he's embarrassed, he just doesn't find it necessary. If you two are out you're probably doing stuff, there's no need to be slowed down by constant touch (though if that's something you want he definitely isn't against it >:3)
