It's such a wonderful feeling when you see your audience respond so positively to your work. The 30 minute monologues of my play "Storms Weathered' at the Valley Arts Fundraiser confirmed my long standing research into this project of four Iconic Jazz Women performing a fictional but intimate discussion. They recount the struggles of their lives thru a time of turmoil. The audience seem to quickly connect and understand the courage, conviction and fortitude these women required to keep moving forward in life regardless of the circumstances they encountered.
