okay but norribeth wishlist:

-the 'break up of the proposal' scene and deleted scene happening, with James being like 'is this where your heart truly lies' and then basically gracefully bowing out and trusting Elizabeth with Will and wishing them the best: except that Elizabeth just meant that she stood by Jack and Will against the execution and this is awkward but she has to go after him and make things clear. because it’d be cute and hilarious to me. -Elizabeth getting to see his sarcastic side before the movies and kinda getting into it, and returning the crush? and we know Elizabeth doesn't exactly stand on ceremony, she's way too ready to touch Will's hand, making him unnecessarily touch her chest to give him the medallion, kiss in front of her father and so on (and in the early potc draft she actually grabs him and kiss him first which is very ic if you ask me) -Elizabeth who is not with Will anymore actually kissing James first when on the Dutchman and convincing him to go with her, successfully passing the message that okay maybe their fates may join  -Davy Jones' heart ending up in Beckett's hands in some other way because Elizabeth pushed James to stick with her (he's not an idiot, he's STILL in love from the way he looks at her and Will kiss in canon, and if she shows signs of attraction and wants him to go with her...) -James actually not having been involved in the movies so what he knows is that at some point while he was gone Elizabeth got kidnapped by pirates, came back, stayed a year then disappeared again with Will after a semi-engagement, and when he finds her again she's pirate king. Basically the cliché of 'in love with her for a long time, I don't see her for a year and a half or two years and when we meet again she's a freaking pirate

But how beautiful would a Norribeth or Willabeth poly with Sparrow be? The couple could settle down if they wanted (or sail the seas if preferred) and Jack would be their free lover who'd be in and out (*cough*) as suited everyone and if there happened to be an accidental Sparrow baby they wouldn't mind and love it equally.

• DMTNT/Post-DMTNT - I really wish Elizabeth had a bigger role in this film, so this verse might end up divergent? we’ll see.

norribeth wishlist/starter call which may need some plotting:

James having been rescued by Calypso/Captain Will of the Dutchman in one of my verses where either

-he and Elizabeth are together from the first movie (I’m guessing he never became admiral in the third and stuck with Elizabeth? got stabbed on his way to saving her) -he and Elizabeth were not officially together yet after all that mess but she does have feelings for her (he did went from disgraced to admiral though he spent more time with her as disgraced and feelings were happening?) -some other version of these depending on your preference

and temporarily missing memories, either all of them or only recent ones, and being guided by a very loving Elizabeth

the fact that I have a norribeth-wishlist tag already says a lot about the potential there and I have to hold back so I don’t jump on people with 509405 plots

meanwhile the fact that I don’t have a sparrabeth wishlist tag yet shows how chaotic they are and I can’t picture specific plots so other rpers have to help me out
