Playing a bit of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has sort of reignited my interest in the original game. I’ve yet to actually replay it, though. I did, however, upload a freshly revised version of the first chapter of Drones earlier today (AO3 / FFN). I’d like to get back into working on that fic, though it’s been a long time since I played Xenoblade and I’ve forgotten a lot of plot details (and I'm not sure I'd be willing to sit through a bunch of cutscenes/hunt through transcripts/scour the Wiki again). But we’ll see.

I was also inspired to start this sketch of Metal Face that I’ll probably never finish:

Relationship status: Single, unfortunately.

Favorite Color: Used to be purple but honestly now it’s just black. I also really like red. Idk honestly what color of something I’ll get depends heavily on what it is and what it’s made of.

Lipstick or Chapstick: Chapstick. Oh my god lipstick sucks. Lipgloss is okay, but chapstick is so much more versatile and beneficial for you. Also it smells goooood my dudes. Like hit me up with that Burt’s Bees mango and pomegranate shit. I once had a caramel apple chapstick and it was GREAT.

Last Song I Listened to: Dr. Ford by Ramin Djawadi (form the Westworld soundtrack. It’s my fav from the show)

Last Movie I watched: I watched Catwoman the other day just to laugh at how bad the screenwriting was. It was like a tweens first attempts at an, rebellious superheroine fanfic. Everything sounded so scripted. What even WAS that soundtrack too like wtf lmao

Wanted to draw a cute Zoroark N with (slightly) shorter hair because I love Noroark theory!!!!! I love my favourite character being able to become a cute fluffy fox boy!!!! It adds just such an extra interesting level of depth to his character to think about!!!

so here are my neopets’ ‘default’ customizations--i went out of my way to hunt and trade for most of these items, yet my pets only wear them sometimes.

i’m not really sure what Jelso’s lore is. he’s like, some kind of undead cyborg pharaoh? i just thought it would be a cool crosspaint.

Mumkhar is based on his namesake, a character from xenoblade chronicles. i believe i’m actually missing a few of the items i intended to use? i should really go look for them. he’s only wraith because i decided to zap him one day for the hell of it, and he just happened to become my favorite color. if they release a steampunk draik, i’m painting him right away.

Noroark is basically a self-insert and is named after my previous blog. i’m obsessed with collecting plushies uwu

Satorl is named after a very pretty location in xenoblade chronicles, which is also the theme of her customization.

Trogeran is my oldest pet. i gave him a backstory years ago, but it’s kind of boring. for his customization, i went all-out with the red and gold color scheme. it might be a bit overwhelming? also i know he’s sad in the picture; he became depressed for no reason.

my sixth pet, Sakimi, is a lab rat and doesn’t have a default customization, so i didn’t include them in this photoset.
