Took a trip to Lowe's today. I was hoping to score some mislabeled rare plants like I did with my red moon but unfortunately I had no such luck. I did however find a couple of plants on my wishlist that I decided to get. I have some small planters coming that the Ivy would look great in so I finally pulled the trigger on getting that. Ivy is absolutely gorgeous in my opinion. One day I want a statue in my yard covered in it, as well as a full trellis on the side of my home.

The Ficus Shivereana was also on my wishlist. I first saw them at Lowe's a couple of months back but decided not to grab one because I wasn't a huge fan of the Ruby Ficus I have. Since that day I haven't seen one there and have been waiting for them to pop back up. There has been a couple of them at the nursery but I didn't really fall for them. This one actually has two growing: a mom and a baby one. Her leaves are glorious and the plant is pretty close to perfect.

After receiving that other pine tree I have realized I really like both the concept and look of small trees in the house. I am a forest lover and this is an awesome way to bring outside inside during the winter. I'm excited to see how big they end up growing with me. Maybe one day I'll have to plant them outside!

See the black spots? I think it has a fungus. Internet says give it more heat and less water, so I'll give it a try.
