Stree song Kamariya: Nora Fatehi’s rustic look will remind you of Katrina, Jacqueline
Stree song Kamariya: Nora Fatehi’s rustic look will remind you of Katrina, Jacqueline - "I feel I must have been a village girl in my past life with a bit of a feisty confident attitude," said Nora. Nora Fatehi, who is riding high on the success of the recreated version of ‘Dilbar’, appears in a special dance number in the Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starring horror comedy ‘Stree’ called ‘Kamariya’. The song has released and like in ‘Dilbar’, the actress sizzles on screen with her moves. She has donned a rustic look for the song and she is pulling it off like a pro, so much so you might actually get a glimpse of Katrina Kaif’s ‘Chikni Chameli’ and Jacqueline Fernandez’s ‘Ek Do Teen’ by her performance in the song, which is quite a big deal considering how iconic those moves have been! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mai3nNAKtd0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KH8TpOLROOQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLTXQxiQPgE “When I was told that the girl I play in the song ‘Kamariya’ will be from Bhopal and very rural but with spunk, I was up for the challenge and felt really ecstatic that I was donning an entirely new look. People have not seen me in a rustic earthy look and I feel the entire team has done an amazing job keeping the makeup to a minimal and opting for a messy hair look. I feel I must have been a village girl in my past life with a bit of a feisty confident attitude because it felt happy in my get up and in the environment. When we were on set shooting it all just came to me and I went into the skin of the character through dance and expression. I hope I’ve done justice and I hope people will like the new look. It will be something different for my fans and the audience,” Nora said of her latest garb. When asked about the song and working on the film, she added, “Kamariya is a wonderfully composed song. The concept for the video is so fresh and it’s unlike anything I have done before. The costumes are so quirky; I am wearing a sari which has been tied around my waist with sneakers and a sweater. My hair is messy. The whole song has this rustic visual. Plus, I had a blast shooting for it with Rajkummar, Aparshakti and Abhishek. I am really excited for the audience to see the song!” The audiences have finally seen the song, and the lust in the boys Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurrana and Abhishek Banerjee’s eyes, which makes us curious what will ‘Stree’ do to them after looking at them all like this! Satyameva Jayate Nora Fatehi Dilbar tops YouTube Global Charts
Satyameva Jayate Nora Fatehi Dilbar tops YouTube Global Charts Moroccan-Canadian actress Nora Fatehi has an enormous fan following on Instagram, where she enthralls her audience with incredible belly-dancing skills, afro, hip-hop and others. Her latest stint, the Dilbar remake, in Milap Zaveri's Satyameva Jayate, starring John Abraham has smashed all records and has now topped YouTube Global Charts, leaving behind songs like Girls Like You by Maroon 5 and X by Nicki Minaj. Nora is overwhelmed with the response to Dilbar. In an interview to a daily, she had said, "It's crazy! The response is phenomenal. It's very funny that I'm being appreciated for my dance moves because when I was young, I was made fun of as nobody thought I was able to dance." While there were obvious comparisons with Sushmita Sen’s popular number from the 1999 film, Nora said the intent was never to copy the original song. “It’s not like we tried to remake it exactly how it was. We just did a different take on it. The whole vibe and look of the song is different. Nobody will ever beat Sushmita Sen, because she is iconic, the song was iconic,” the actor said. Composer Tanishk Bagchi has revived the '90s track to a more energetic modern dance number with an Arabic flavour, while retaining some of Alka Yagnik's original vocals. Additional lyrics, penned by Shabbir Ahmed, have been sung by Neha Kakkar and newbie Dhvani Bhanushali, with some verses rapped by Ikka. The music video features Nora Fatehi and John Abraham. Responding to the positive reception the song has garnered, Bhanushali told Hindustan Times, "It feels amazing. I’m thrilled that something like this has happened so early on, in my career. I feel blessed. It’s motivating. https://www.youtube.com/embed/n2u81Ujc93g Satyameva Jayate Nora Fatehi Dilbar tops YouTube Global Charts Read the full article

Moroccan singer and music producer Saad Lamjarred has roped her in for a track. Nora said in a statement: “I’m always very proud of Moroccan artistes doing well and achieving international recognition. I’ve always said Moroccan artistes are extremely talented and the world needs to take notice. Saad has really put Morocco on the scene through his music and brought the international market to take notice of our music and our language called Darija. “I’ve always admired his music and we are in talks to work together in the near future for his music video. This collaboration will be amazing as two recognised Moroccan artistes from two different markets will be coming together. I feel both our fans will be very excited to see what’s in store. I am hopeful that we will create something epic with a nice Indian touch,” added the actress, who earlier worked with Lamjarred on his song “Ghazali”. “Ghazali” had released in March, but learning about Nora, the singer approached her to make a dance cover to the song.
