Self Insert Revamp - Sage NoPrint

The finished artwork for my self-insert’s mainverse revamp! Meet Sage NoPrint, intergalactic slime rancher. More info under the cut!

Sage and I do share most of our history, up until the age of eighteen (plus they moved planets, as opposed to moving states- they’re a native of the colonized Pluto, and moved to a colonized Mars when they were ten). Working a dead-end job as a cook in a gas station, Sage found they’d inherited a ranch far off in the galaxy, at the outer reaches of mankind... And they decided to make good on their inheritance, using what money they had saved up from work to purchase a ticket to the Far, Far Range- where they came into the ownership of The Ranch.

They’ve been working and living there ever since. Sage does have an internet connection, and regularly trades Newbucks for the payment for products they just can’t produce on the ranch itself. They’ve made friends with everyone in their trading area, including: Thora West, Viktor Humphries, Ogden Ortiz, Mochi Miles, and BOb. Their entire ranch is unlocked and active, and they have a pet quantum slime that follows them around sometimes- which they have affectionately nicknamed ‘Glitchy’.

They still have the ability to teleport, although they only use it to wander the Far Far Range (for the most part). Sometimes, this teleporting ability of their’s has... Caused them to land in some strange worlds, since this ‘teleport’ isn’t limited by one universe. And, of course, they have memories of all their alternates that still ping-pong around their skull.

Sage does use the teleport ability to get off-world from time to time (to go see a movie or just interact with human beings), but for the most part... They stay on their ranch. It’s peaceful, after all.

SLIME LADY!" the imp came rushing to the slime farm they moved to recently something in the imp's arms.. an injured honey slime! " The other slimes were beating up on it for some reason! What do i do? hoe do I make them better?" He was concerned about the poor creature.

Their head had turned, hearing a voice calling out on the backdrop of the ranch. The main gate let the trespasser through without fail, having never been made to keep anyone out. They exited their small home, cautious as they pulled out their vac, ready to blast an intruder in the face with a boom slime- only to come face-to-face with an imp that... Looked really, really off, holding a honey slime that looked to be in utterly awful shape.

"You said some other slimes were beating this little honey one up?" They could see signs of the Tarr, black, stinky gunk sticking to bitten-off chunks, holes in the slime's body like someone had taken a bite from some Jell-O. "--okay..." They'd been working on this ranch for several years by now, mind flipping between various issues their slimes came down with from time to time, including a few Tarr outbreaks that had nearly destroyed the set of islands...

"Come with me- we need to get this Tarr off!" They were quick to turn and start off, running across their ranch towards where they housed their puddle slimes. Four little light-blue slimes danced and wavered in a man-made pond, looking up blearily at their owner as they gestured to the water. "Put the lil' guy in here. Once they're in, we'll need to get a few honey plorts, and some Mint Mangos."

“Wouldja look at that...” Sage hummed, eyes sliding over the calendar. A certain day had finally hit... Their pet quantum slime warbled beside them, teleporting onto their side. Sage chuckled, reaching up and gently pushing the little troublemaker back to the bed.

“C’mon, we’ve got work to do.” The ranch wasn’t going to tend itself, after all.

Today I was watching GRAHAN. I was in New Delhi to shoot Sikh Genocide after 25 years. I am not so strong to handle the stories of thei pain. Cried every day. Here is the fact Sarjeet Kaur lost her husband in the Sikh Genocide in 1984. His only son who was bitten badly now walks with the support of a stick and gets spinal chord aches at night. She was traumatized and ever since has remained sick, suffering even after 25 years of the incident. Tilak Vihar in New Delhi is called the widow colony. Widows and children of the Sikhs who were killed in 1984 Sikh Genocide live here. Four thousand Sikhs were killed in 72 hours in Delhi alone but no body till date has been punished for such an inhuman crime. Illiteracy, drug addiction, child labour and immense poverty characterize the area. Twenty five years ago all the male family members above the age of 15 were killed and burnt, leaving their uneducated widows and children behind to suffer, even after 25 years. The present generation is jobless, steeped in alcoholism and have lost their directions in life. November 2009.
