I do not know how to calm the storm that is me. I do not know how to take myself back to the state of passion in one's life alone. I do not know how to do things on my own how I once did. I rely on others for stability, to make me tell them how I felt. I rely on others to guide me when I am overwhelmed by thoughts of- too muchness, Thoughts that I take up to much space with my voice, with my body, with my soul. That the word hello, may block your sentence and ruin your day, so I don't bother. That the word hello spilling from my mouth sounds weird and everyone will look at me as if I am some fool. So I do not say hello. I flush with panic as I shovel pounds of food into my throat, only to release them as if it never happened. Too muchness. The space I take up, I used to think of that only in the literal way, now it is every way. Time and space, my too muchness is not alright. If only I could be smaller, quieter, less noticeable, And still become some sort of a social butter fly. But no matter how much I try, I see the way people look at me. I see the way they roll their eyes over my skin, drinking everything in, What a waste. What a waste of space and time. Don't say a word Don't read this You're wasting your time, and I'm wasting my space.
