I watched the videos below with great anguish, deepest sadness, and overflowing tears. If you are faint of hearts, this video is not for you to watch. It includes video images of Ethiopians being chased, hunted like animals, insulted, beaten and killed in Riyadh. The official figure of 3 killed makes no sense at all when one watches this video. I had to stop watching the video few times because I could not stomach it. It is reminiscent of scenes of lynching in the deep South of the US.

Imagine what it is like to be hunted in the streets and in your own homes as if you are some sort of wild animal? Imagine what it is like for your honor and that of your family to be violated just because of your national background. Those that are being attacked are not just 'illegals'. When you have mobs running wild in the streets, nobody cares about your legal papers.

To make matters worse, the Grand mufti of Saudi gave his indirect blessings to these cruel and inhumane mob actions by supporting "police action" and failing to criticize the vigilante who are taking the law into their own hand and mistreating the immigrants and violating their dignity. Haram wallahi.

My parents once upon a time left Ethiopia, migrated to Saudi too all to make better their lives and build their future. I remember my father telling me stories of being harassed and treated like dirt because he simply was not Saudi. However it was never this bad. I pray for all of my Ethiopian brothers and sisters. No one deserves to be hunted, beaten, or killed for the color of their skin or their nationality.
