Non Alcoholic Spirit - Flanuer

Yes I am not writing about beverages or drinks I am writing about spirits. They do not contain alcohol and yet are distilled and taste like one and smell like one. 

Lahhentagge Distillery in Estonia distills Flaneur which is a drink devoid of alcohol but yet tastes like gin and smells like one as well.  Flaneur is a beverage and a spirit that can be substitute of gin mixed in cocktail and also a stand alone drink.   

Th e recipe is a secret but never the less Lahhentagge websites does open up and spells out the basic ingredients which point very much to that used in the distillation of gin. 

Non alcoholic spirits are consumed by teenagers, abstainers and at place where consumption of alcohol is banned often called prohibition.  

Some of these products are distilled as alcoholic but later the alcohol is removed. While in some cases low ABV drinks are often passed off as non alco but this is not true. In case Flaneur the distillate contains zero percentage spirit. 

Like dry gin this too can be consumed with Indian tonic and the combination is becoming popular. Though first such product in Estonia Flaneur has many peer outside the country but how they are received is not well known.  In case of these products the spirit flavor should well be authentic and the botanical added should deliver appealing taste and flavor which is well balanced, clear and crisp.
