We made a 2025 Dan and Phil bingo!
Tumblr media
Some of these are sillies, others are genuine predictions and even more are wishful thinking

Obsessed with Dip and Pip trying one (1) singular time to put Dalien in a straight relationship and then were dead set on Dalien being with a boy.

i’ve been unconsciously referring to Dalien with they/them pronouns to the point where sometimes i get a bit shocked when i hear people use he/him. can we just all just collectively decide that Dalien is non-binary and pressure their dads to stop misgendering them because i feel very strongly about this

can i ask why you acknowledge its stereotypical for dalien to be the non-binary and/or asexual character but disregard that that's a negative stereotype and say it anyway
in the least passive aggressive way possible i just don't see it and don't like the implications of following a stereotype like that so i want to understand why you see it that way
I see it that way because Dalien seemed super awkward when attempting to romance all those people in the last episode, which seemed to me like a teenage discovery sort of thing. Like oh here’s something most people like so I should do it too? But then they knew inside themselves that that didn’t seem right for them. And as far as them being nonbinary goes, they don’t seem to care much for traditional gendered activities one way or another (see: cheerleading but decorating their bedroom like that). But obviously, it’s a sim so it IS just a computer simulated doll controlled by Dan and Phil so all of this is just like a headcanon.
I hope this helps contextualize that post. I’ll be honest I’m struggling with this ask because it really comes across as you are just mad at me. I did have reasons for saying that, it wasn’t just a complete stereotype. I suppose there’s something to say about implicit bias in that “why was your first instinct to headcanon the alien as they/them ace” which is fair… and something to reflect on. But like I said, I did have reasons, and I’m also not the creator of Dalien, I’m just calling it as I see it as a fan
