Would just like to remind ppl not to shit all over Ozzy for winning the Grammy tonight. Tobias is prly really happy that Ozzy won (like cmon, Black Sabbath were one of THE founders of heavy metal as we know it) and even happier that he was up for the award with one of metal's biggest icons.

Not to mention, that performance Ozzy got the award for is prly one of the v last we'll get to see from him bc of his health and age especially now he's retired officially from touring.

Idk I don't think Tobias would want us shitting all over other musicians bc of Ghost not winning. He's prly incredibly happy for the support and that he got nominated. This was his third ever Grammy nomination and ik for a fact there are many more in his future.

Jaemin’s limbs feel heavy as he’s pulled from sleep by the repetitive, nagging sound coming from his door. Little scratching sounds accompanied by occasional mewls has him slamming his hand on the nightstand, searching for his phone. As his hand lands on it, music starts playing loudly and echoing off hard surfaces in his bedroom.

“Mmmmm make it stop,” comes the gruff voice next to him, large hand pinching his waist under the covers.

Yelping, Jaemin pauses the music and turns the volume down on his phone, seeing the time is hours before his alarms were set to go off. They had gotten so little sleep over the past few weeks and he thought he had everything in place for a perfect environment for relaxation back home.

Turning back over, he nudges limbs out of the way to cuddle up into the space left for him against the firm chest shirtless in his bed.

“Is that the demons,” comes Jeno’s voice again, eyes flickering open briefly before pulling shut again.

“I’m sorry, baby,” Jaemin coos gently, pushing dark strands off his forehead before letting his hand drag down his boyfriend’s neck, pausing at his sharp collarbone to tickle there.

“I’ll text someone to come feed them,” he replies, voice heavy with exhaustion.

Jeno drags his lips across Jaemin’s cheek, pulling his arms absently around his broad frame, dragging him impossibly close. He almost hums against his skin as he does this, a motion he’s completed thousands of times under prying eyes of reporters and fans and even more times in the privacy of their own spaces.

Jaemin flushes at the tender gesture, knowing they are both exhausted beyond belief but also longing to hold one another. He nuzzles his head even further into the pillows, chasing the calming rest he had settled into in the lightly chilled room with his human heater beside him.

“Just let them in, princess,” Jeno mumbles against his skin, darting his tongue out mischievously as punctuation.

Jaemin knows if he does this they won’t get any sleep, but is on his feet in an instant, hand on the metal knob before Jeno can change his mind.

He pulls the door open suddenly, the movement clearly a surprise to the trio of chaos just behind the wooden barricade.

The three balls of white fur topple into the room, clearly having been piled on top of each other trying to get in. Jaemin scoffs loudly at the scratch marks on the door, noticing far more than had been there before.

Luna is bounding up the small stairs at the edge of the bed and sinking her claws into Jeno’s bare chest the second she’s able. Luke takes a moment to stretch before pawing over to the edge of the bed, scratching first at the duvet cover’s plush edge before joining Luna in her attack. Jaemin scoops up his perfect Lucy, digging his face into her fur and letting her crawl across his shoulders as he walks carefully back to the bed.

Jeno looks up at Jaemin from the bed with feigned annoyance, scooping up Luke and dangling him over the edge of the bed as if he’s going to toss him off. Jaemin only chuckles, letting Lucy drop down to the mess below, before carefully sliding back in his spot from before.

There is so much commotion on the bed, small bites, purrs, scratches, and licking that Jaemin barely notices Jeno sliding an arm under his waist to pull him closer to him. He twists their legs together to resume the same position they had been sleeping in and quickly starts to drift off to sleep despite the paws tangling his hair. This shift in position doesn’t stop the kittens from getting in every crevice imaginable, tangled in the sheets and almost getting squished under thighs.

“Happy?” Jeno asks sarcastically, unable to say much else in the fog of fatigue.

“Always happy to be home,” Jaemin mutters back with a grin, pressing a kiss to the top of a clingy Lucy’s head before making the same gesture to Jeno, lips pressing warmly to soft skin and heart swelling with love.

jerez last lap when valentino makes that mistake and runs wide and lets sete through... is it possible to more visibly panic when riding a motorcycle. like valentino just freaks at the idea that he might be letting sete win, immediately gets super shaky as he hops on sete's rear tyre. his own front tyre off the ground right before he sends it on sete's inside in a move that - let's be honest - just wasn't gonna do it. once sete re-overtakes, valentino really only has a few seconds to make his choice, and in the end he decides he'd rather take them both out than let sete beat them. like?? like ffs, it's such massive head loss to go on national television and promise your rival who was nominally still your friend 24 hours ago is never going to win another race in his life. we kinda roll with it now because he managed to pull it off but he shouldn't have. this should have been CRAZY hubris from this mfer but now it's like 'wow he really did break that guy'. AERO PARTS

In this arc, the Freedom Fighters consist of all six of the classic SatAM crew, plus Amy and Nicole, though Nicole doesn't really do a whole lot. This is the standard FF roster for most of Flynn's run in Archie, it's hard to go wrong with it.

The Suppression Squad, meanwhile, bring Scourge, Fiona, Miles, Alicia, Patch, and Boomer. They have six to the Freedom Fighters' eight.

They don't introduce an Evil Nicole, and while an antiverse version of Amy is introduced in the story, she's not a member of Suppression Squad, she's a random crazy person who wants to both kill and date Scourge and gets in the way a whole lot during the parts of the story that are set on Moebius.

Additionally, Buns is removed from the team as a whole, instead appearing as a morally-questionable ally of Kintobor, because she's sick and Scourge threw her out for being weak.

And I find this weird. Not to say that I dislike the idea of a member of Suppression Squad being basically forced to redeem themselves because they had an r/leopardsatemyface moment, because I don't, I love it. I just think it's weird for two reasons:

They don't need to "Make room" for Fiona on the Suppression Squad, because the FF also have additional members besides the originals. Buns can still be there without throwing the numbers off.

If they're going to remove one of the Suppression Squad's original roster from the board... why is it Buns that goes, and not Alicia?

Think about it: Besides Scourge himself, Alicia is the nominal leader of the team. She's the one that Scourge worked with when he originally plunged Moebius into chaos at the end of the Great Peace, by killing Anti-Jules and banishing Maxx to the Void. She's the one that kicked him out of the Squad with the aid of Jeff. Why the hell would he keep her around?

She's also pretty redundant as a Squad member in this arc, because Fiona is here.

I've said before that I think that Archie viewed Fiona more as a Sally Clone than as her own character, and this gets infinitely worse in Flynn's run, where most of her own (very undercooked) personality traits are largely abandoned in favour of having her shackled permanently to the evil version of Sally's boyfriend, and doing the same things that Sally does, but evilly.

And it's this arc where this becomes really obvious that Fiona is just Evil Sally now, because she's on a team with a character who literally used to be called Evil Sally. Alicia mostly stands around and does nothing because Fiona's the one beefing with her counterpart, right up until the point where the two sides team up, wherein Fiona is hurriedly ushered out of the plot and Alicia returns to her normal place as Sally's opposite number.

So... why not keep Buns and have Alicia be the one to get kicked out and forced to turn to Kintobor? She can still play the role that Alicia did in the final chapters of the arc by simply linking up with the two teams when they arrive on Moebius, after all.

Now, I can see the point being raised that it was Buns that got sick with NIDS. But that plot point is something they introduced in this arc. They can just have Alicia get sick instead. She was last seen before this arc falling into a pit full of poisonous robots, after all. Or they can just skip that aspect and have her get kicked out because Scourge is petty and vengeful and doesn't want her around.

This confusion doesn't ruin the story for me or anything, I still think it's a good one, but it does still somewhat baffle me.

alright let me add my two cents because clearly you aren’t allowed to be frustrated in this fandom…

who the hell blamed Tomdayas for Tom’s career choices? like where the fuck did that happen? how does that even make sense? like do you all really think we’re that dumb to think that you guys (or we) have some power over his career or are you all being dense on purpose? we can have opinions and discussions about it though (because what else is there left to do? lmao) and someone pointed out the hypocrisy behind not wanting Zendaya to claim that she owes everything to Euphoria (which is valid and I remember not just Tomdayas, but their stans, meaning the ones who claim to stan one or the other or both, criticizing that at the time) to not questioning when Tom straight up says that about Spider-Man, which again, is an attitude not just shared among (some) Tomdayas, this is not an attack on them for being Tomdayas or on Zendaya, so stop interpreting it that way too ffs

also about “catastrophizing” stuff or whatever because of what he said about his future projects, we heard him say the exact same thing years ago and we’ve gotten one project since then, like you can’t blame his fans for pointing that out, and we’re not saying that we should have gotten these projects by now, we know that he was burned out, we know that he took a break, we know that there was a strike, we know, we’re not stupid, all we want is to know what these are because we keep hearing about it…also about the script reading, I don’t have much of an opinion on it but Tom tends to exaggerate so again, you can’t blame anyone if they want to be cautious in that regard, some of you all are acting like people aren’t allowed to be critical like sorry, we don’t look through rose colored glasses at everything he does and says ffs (also looking at those who clearly weren’t thrilled about that challengers script when it came out) but again, if we didn’t look forward to all of it still (even if we don’t know what it is) we wouldn’t be here wasting our time, that’s for damn sure

and about us wanting “to win stan wars”…what stan war? on tumblr? most of the very few Tom blogs moved from twitter to here because they’re tired of these so called stan wars, but why is it that when we say want to see him work with acclaimed directors, actors or whatever and be in a good and acclaimed project that you all jump to that conclusion? are we not allowed to want success for him outside of the box office? especially after how people (and I’m not talking about fucking stans) have been coming down on him in the past couple years when it comes to his career? and don’t you dare and twist my words into us forcing him into anything, again neither you nor I have the power for that and if he was to come out tomorrow and say yeah, nope, I’m retiring and I don’t want to do this anymore or I don’t care how my stuff is perceived* then fine but clearly he wants to keep working and seems excited about it so why can’t we wish for him to be successful across all fronts with that??? lord

and yes, I know at the end of the day what matters most is what we personally think about his projects, especially as his fans, but you can’t deny that it’s nice to see when they’re more universally celebrated and he gets his flowers for his work and talent…

*which btw he never did but some act like he did, not saying that he’s focused on that but he was clearly thrilled about that CCA nomination so do what you want with that
